several large lights moving quickly disappearing and reappearing and chaining color from white to blue

I was sitting in my backyard and saw several lights bouncing through the trees on the golf course. I jumped my fence and ran onto the westlake golf course looking south east fairly low on horizon 6 to ten large lights that were white and fuzzy and bright move and change formation. the lights would disappear and reappear eventually changing to a soft blue color before disappearing completely. I am a 53 year old white male living in westlake village ca i have a wife and 4 kids and have never seen or reported anything of this nature before. Driving on the 101 freeway north between Lindero Canyon and Westlake Boulevard exits, watching a rather remarkable sunset, there suddenly appeared overhead quite high in the darkening sunset sky right in front of us, a rapidly falling white light. It had a firework appearance, a bright white light, appearing suddenly and falling rapidly, without any evident preceding upward trajectory or source.

It vanished before hitting ground well above the ground. Left a trail of white that dissipated slowly. No idea what it could have been.

White fireball over city of Westlake Village

I was walking up the stairs of my house and look out the window to see a bright white fireball heading straight at the city and at about 4000 feet above the city it made a right angle turn towarda the other side of the vally then disapered in a small flash of light. I dont think any man made flying object can turn like that.

Strange very bright flashing disc over Thousand Oaks..

While driving back to work from lunch yesterday at 1:27 (5/26/04) in the afternoon I saw a very bright flashing high in the air. At first I thought it was the glint off a commercial airliner as we are in the flight pattern for LAX but this was not normal as it was higher and much brighter. The object seemed to have a dark bottom and flashed very brightly off the top...It hovered there flashing for a while and then would move very fast then stop. Then it moved slowly South.. There was absolutely no sound..This was not an airplane of any sort as I am an expert in aircraft recognition.

Bright white fireball north of Los Angeles with four white streaks, surrounded by huge white vapour cloud part of which was turquoise

While walking up Valecroft Ave saw white fireball coming from North heading South leaving white trail. At a certain point the trail began to expand and became a huge expanding circular envelope resembling mist. From the bright centre it seemed like four bright white streaks were spreading. At its maximum the cloud was maybe ten or fifteen moon-widths across. The speed did not seem all that fast.

Gradually the bright centre burned out. The phenomenon must have been very high up because it remained white throughout although the sun was well below the horizon. Also, given the height, the white mist cloud must have been really enormous. Parts of the trail became red (presumably as they sank lower) but one part was also green/turquoise. At first I assumed this was a sizeable comet fragment but the four white streaks and the green coloured section makes me think it was maybe man made and the cloud was unused fuel (though I wonder why it was not burning).

redish-orange light moves across sky,hovers,drops a substance,then rapidly disapears

me and my girlfriend noticed a redish-orange light over the south horizion mountian ridge,it was only a mile to a mile and a half away,as we continued to observe thru the windshield it traveled to the left side of the vhicle and hovered briefly,it then dropped something white directly from the center underside of the craft. This was no helicopter. It then changed directions without turning,flickerd a few times and disapeard in a rapid manner.

At about 3:45 am we witnessed 2 objects in the sky. Each flashed red, green, and blue tones in a random pattern. They remained relatively stationary but moved in spirals. About 45 minutes after we first sighted the objects we heard two aircraft. One was a prop and the other seemed to be a low flying jet. Within the same time period we saw what looked to be a shooting star that arched close to one of the flashing objects.
