Passing of 9 lights in chevron formation, low, fast and then passing again overhead

I was with 50-60 other people in a CE5 group. We all saw 9 bright lights pass right over our heads at, I am estimating, 250 feet up in a chevron formation. No sound whatsoever. No exhaust trail. There was no visible craft behind the lights. The impression was of power, brightness and speed. It flew over the arc of the sky we could see, which was 110 degrees or so in 3 to 5 seconds, so fast it was barely possible to count the number of lights, even though they were low and bright. They flew in an east to west direction. About 1-15 minutes later, the same or similar group of lights flew over again, also travelling east to west., possibly slightly higher and not quite so bright. This time I was able to just clearly count exactly the number of lights. I considered birds (lit from below), drones, man made object with lights. None of these possibilities seemed likely under the circumstances

Amber ball of light glowing moving from Northeastern sky to Southeastern sky making no sound as it moved.

We were having dinner on the porch talking about how beautiful the sky looked with all the stars. When suddenly we observed a amber ball of light moving across the sky slowly at a constant speed. It was the same orange color as the old orange monochrome computer screens from the 90's. It was coming from the Northeast and heading South.

When it started moving south it slowed down as one plane flew past it. It looked like the the amber object was going to hit the approaching plane. Then it changed direction slightly going southeast. As we saw it traveling Southeast it faded out and then got brighter again. After it brightened it dimmed out immediately and vanished from the sky in about 1.5 seconds. No sound came from this orange light in the sky. It did move across the sky about the same speed as an airplane when we first saw it. If i held my arm out with my thumb extended, my thumb would cover the object. The orange object did not flicker and was constant! during the motion. It can be described as glowing versus flickering or twinkling.

We have no idea what we witnessed but it was something we never seen before. From this observation it was a clear night with no wind whatsoever. We tried to rule it out as a plane but it did not have any flashing lights and did not have any sound. It could have been a Chinese lantern however it seemed like it was moving too fast and the change in direction caught us by surprise. I wanted to capture this on my cell phone but it was too dark to record video. I also had serious doubts that it was a UFO until it disappeared and the fact it changed directions. I can't figure out what we observed, but it all got our attention.

Feb 15, 2011, 11:30 am - white dot with orange aura over coachella Valley from Indian Wells, CA

February 15. 2011

Today at 11:30 am my niece spotted a small white oblong flying object with an orange aura moving above through the clouds while working out on our patio. My perspective was that the object was white, round with an orange aura flying at approximately a 75 degree angle from the horizon. The object rotated a few times then moved slowly from northwest to south east.




NUFORC Note:

We spoke via telephone with this witness, and she seemed to us to be quite sincere. The witness reported that the object seemed to her to perform several maneuvers in the sky. It was located above the local clouds, she reported. We have invited the daughter to submit a report, as well. PD
