Three star-like lights moving

Looked up to the crisp, clear sky this morning around 5:58AM PST. Looking at about 75 degrees up to the Southwest about 215 degrees, I saw 3 starlike lights(2 larger that were white and 1 smaller that was more of a yellow to orange color) come together about an inch apart. They first lined up about an inch or two apart and then did a half circle or so and then started to head South staying at about the same angle and distance from each other. They traveled for about 10 seconds and then one continued southward, the smaller one took a southeast direction and the last head eastward.

Large cylindrical structure was seen at the top of mountain adjacent Montara State Beach area in the vicinity of Montara CA.

While travelling North on Highway 1 (Cabrillo Highway) along the Northern California coast, as we rounded a bend in the highway we spotted a large, cylinder-shaped “structure/object” at the top of one of the mountains in close proximity to another (man-made) structure. At first, it appeared this structure was some sort of large parking garage as it had a cork screw pattern running up its side. It was tall, completely smooth and a cylinder in shape. It was white with a black stripe moving up the structure in a cork screw pattern. At the top of the structure were a number of smooth silver cylinders that were capped with smooth silver spheres. To the right of the silver cylinders was some sort of object appearing to hang over the edge of the structure. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a good look at this hanging object. The structure was tall and looked very out of place for the surroundings which is why we first noticed it. Both myself and the other witness studied the object for one to two minutes before our attention was momentarily drawn to the surrounding highway traffic. When I looked back to continue looking at this cylindrical object, it had vanished and was nowhere to be seen. As we rounded the mountain where the cylinder had been, we could see the backside of the mountain which was vacant with no indication any type of structure/object had been there.

For two nights we noticed a bright light in our southern ski.It seemed to just hover but move slightly.First thoughts was some locals with drones.only problem was it was there all night didn't think anyone would just stay in the same spot for so long let alone have power source to last as long.Night two same thing.Starting to get annoyed thinking nosey neighbors.On that night I would get up every hour or two go outside to see if it was there.About 06:30 I got up to let dogs out and spotted it,knowing the sun would be coming up soon decided to stay and watch it till daylight.which I did.I noticed as the sunlight come up it was getting higher and higher in sky at about 80% in sky I could see it and it was some type of white craft that seem to change into a cloud.I have pictures of it and a video.At this time I got my Girlfriend up to see it.When see come out Two objects come out the southwest ski full daylight now and made two runs from north to south long loo! ps no noise just like they were floating but able to maneuver at ease.After the loops they were gone and have not been back.They were not drones and they were about 100 ft long (guess)We live not to far from Cape Canaveral I'm not ruling out something military.I have pictures and video and will try to send.

Green Light in Sky at Moss Beach

While at Fitzgerald Marine Reserve, at approximately 4:46 PM, the sun was setting so the perfect moment to capture the moment came upon me. Although, while looking back the pictures after I got home, between the several photos that I had captured, there is an apparent green object, almost in a full circle, but not quite.

I took several photos of the sunset, focusing the sun in different corners of the shot, and the circle appears in the same spot. I have done my own research, seeing if any others that occupied the beach that evening had possibly captured that same thing, but have yet to find anything. In addition, I have taken into consideration that it could be a possible meteor or iridium flare. I’m not fully convinced though.

Unidentified object in Montara sky.

Was walking my dog back from the beach, when I noticed an object in the distance. I assumed it must have been a helicopter from a strange angle.

As it got closer I couldn't see the cylindrical length of it like I would have expected, nor could I see any propellors or hear any sounds from it. It appeared to be almost above me, but still hundreds of feet in the air. I saw a single light coming from it and the rest of it appeared bluish greenish.

It was a very clear blue sky, so that may have played a part in it. My dog noticed nothing.

I went to call my husband to tell what I was seeing and once I got ahold of him and looked back up, it was gone.

Maybe it was a fancy adult toy...I am a lady in my early thirties.

I have never seen anything unlike this before.

A new scooter shaped aircraft like something from the Jetsons, but more likea hemi police bike.

My son and I witnessed a aircraft that looked like a flying scooter or motorcycle flying just above us, coming from the north towards the west as if it were taking the exit on the freeway but right above us just over the telephone poles even close to rooftops!!

I said whoa! What was that...I need one of those so I can ride you on it over the freeway too so we don't have to wait it traffic…

I thought for sure it was a something new that was used to transport faster a above traffic to get to an accident or emergency or respond to a child abduction or something serious…

strange light orb over lake

I was walking my dog, like i do every night while listening to music. I live next to a lake which is quite dark and deserted around the late evening. As i was walking my dog along the water i noticed a large light in the distance but ignored it thinking that it was a helicopter with the spotlight on, possibly looking for a criminal and i also saw what appared to be a plane chasing or observing its actions. As i continued walking, i noticed clouds moving in fairly quickly around the sky but wasnt bothered by it because it was coming in fast but not too abnormally fast. There was also one rather large dark cloud that began to cloak the moon so it became eclipsed, but you could still see a glow around the cloud. i found this strange because when i began my walk, there were only a few clouds but soon began to look like a light fog or mist. As i got towards the end of the trail next to the lake, my dog decided to urinate on a plant as he normally does. Usually wh! en my dog has to stop, i take my time to enjoy my music and stare at the sky and the stars. As my dog urinated, i looked up at the sky and saw the light again but this time it wasnt as far into the distance as before, but still relatively far away. I stared at the light and tried to determine what it was, and noticed it had a spherical shape with a glow around it. The light made a slow and small left to right motion and hovered there and then bolted past the trees and dissapeared, i am not sure if the object emitted noise because i was listening to music but a couple seconds before i noticed the light, my phone lost reception but this only lasted a few seconds then returned to normal still before i had noticed the light. This could not have been a comet because the sky was cloaked with clouds at this point and you could barely see the moons glow past the dark clouds and this light was bright and too large to be a comet. I also thought it could be a missile, because of the ! recent threats made by north korea but a missile could not hav! e made t hat left to right motion and just hover. This could not have been a plane or helicopter because of the speed it was traveling as it left, it was going at the rate of shooting star; possibly even faster. Prior to leaving my house, i heard rain outside my window for about less than 5 minutes, as well as 2 or 3 car alarms going off but am not sure if it ties into the sighting. after seeing this light, i ran home out of fear and panic along with my dog. Im scared, because i don't know what i saw tonight and feel slightly traumatized because it is the strangest thing i've seen in my whole life.

After that, orange lights are disappeared to upper backward.

Large, dark triangular stealth aircraft with no lighting traveling south at 1500 ft just after dark.

Just after dark at approximately 7:05pm this evening, observed low flying, dark triangular aircraft directly overhead and rapidly flying due south in a straight line. Aircraft was very dimly, even faintly lit around its rounded edges with no typical aircraft lights or strobe. Observed by two adult men (professionals ages 50 and 57) for approximately 5 or 6 seconds. Though the craft seemed no higher than 1000 - 1500 feet, there was no observable sound. Due to the craft’s speed, it traveled quickly out of sight within a few seconds. Given the high use airspace and proximity to SFO, other commercial aircraft were observed much higher on this clear night with the typical faint jet engine drone. Our thinking is that this craft could possibly be some sort of stealth military aircraft that may have been flying this evening with no lights.

For the past week around the same time, I go out in my yard and look up at the sky, My wife and I were sitting in our backyard and about 200 feet above us, a huge ship flew past in utter silence. Every night since then, there are light in the sky, I flash my flashlight in the sky and it flashes back. It have been continuing to respond to the light for the whole week. It glows a deep orange color, On, off. Gone. It moves around randomly.

2 bright streaks of light with dark object above them observed in clear, cloudless sky.

We were driving Highway 101 northbound, from Redwood City towards San Mateo, nearing the time of sunset, approx 8:25pm. It was a very clear, cloudless sky. I noticed what initially appeared to be two, parallel "streaks" of bright light, slightly angled to the left of what would have been a vertical position.

When I first noticed the streaks, they appeared to be moving downward. This only lasted a second or two, and then the streaks appeared stationary. I said to my husband (who was driving) "Look at that...what do you think that is?" Neither he nor I could come up with an explanation of what it could be. It was an interesting phenomena, because we both were expecting as we drove closer that whatever the object was (airplane, cloud, etc) would soon become apparent.

As we drove closer, the bright streaks of light dimmed considerably, eventually becoming just a greyish color, and we wondered if it could have been the setting sun which was illuminating these two streaks. As we approached our exit, I could just make out a solid dark object above these streaks, and it was obviously much farther away than I had originally thought. Due to the distance, I cannot describe the shape of the object, other than that it was wider side to side than it was top to bottom. It did not appear to be completely smooth, but to have some shape to it. The object and streaks did not move, rotate, etc. following the few seconds after which we originally saw them. The dark object above the streaks was not lit in any way.

We took our exit and quickly parked our car and ran back near the freeway, but whatever it was was gone.

I was driving on thye 280 freeway, going north, when I spotted something completely black in the air hovering 200-300 feet from the ground, on the other side of the freeway. I had a good look at it since I noticed it a ways back. It was a saucer shape, about the size of two large SUV's. It wasn't movining, it was still in the air. As I passed it I realized what I had just seen, the epitome of a UFO. I continued to watch it through my rear view mirror, and just as I was debating on turning around and getting an even better look, the saucer sped off, southward, higher and higher into the sky.

3 objets approched us and somehow my car was mysteriously fixed.

Me and my freind ((name deleted)) were driving along the highway when our car stalled. We both got out and tried to fix it but it didn't work. There were no other cars coming and i wasn't going to flag any over anyways. We sat for awhile until ((name deleted)) said," What ((is that))?". We watched as 3 disk shaped objects came toward us. They came very slowly, almost hovering. They were over the ocean bay about 15 or 20 yards from us. We watched as they suddenly stoped and four beams of light emmited from the objects. they moved very suddenly and seemed to have a haze or blur over them. suddenly some of the beams settled on my car and it suddenly moved. All of the sudden they left. they went at unbelievable speed and were gone. When I cheked the car it was as if the car had been recharged (I had cheked and the battery was dead, along with the radiator having a crack). I was amazed, so was ((name deleted)). The towtruck came and then we wnt home.

A spherical craft shot into the air from a large patch of intensely bright light.

This occurred while driving south on highway 101. My fiancee and I noticed a large patch of light (approximately the size of 4 football fields) west of us (likely in the ocean). This light like a very bright day in the middle of a dark night. This lasted 5-6 seconds and then a spherical craft shot into the air with a bright white and yellow tail. It had a diameter of approximately 200-300 feet. It's tail turned red and then yellow and it continued straight up until it was indistinguishable from a star. This process took about 5 minutes. This is the first time either of us have seen anything like this. I grew up in the U.S. and am a physician. My fiancee is from southeast asian and works in the IT field.

Long overdue addtional info, glowing saucer shape rush hour traffic

This is long overdue. But I am adding on to two other reports from Highway 280, which is west of my sighting of an object moving east. When I saw it had already travelled west from the other reported sightings and had nearly reached the bay as I was on Highway 101. The funny thing is it almost looked ordinary because it was just there not trying to hide like a blimp. It was not a blimp. It was sauntering to and fro as if barely able to remain in flight. I noticed strange markings dark black against the white glow. This was only 100 feet over rush-hour traffic near the Bay Meadows Horse Racing track. I was travelling north towards San Francisco.

The object was in the northern sky for approximately 1.5 hours on the evening of 10/16/99. It was saucer-like shape with a very bright glow in the middle. It had red and green lights circulating around it.

I was sitting on my deck and was on the phone with a friend of mine. I saw an object that seemed as though it was not moving. It was just becoming dusk and the reason I noticed this object is because it looked like it was twinkling. As I continued the conversation on the phone, approximately 25 minutes, dusk turned to nightfall and the object was getting to be more defined. It seemed like it was moving very slowly towards the north. At the same time, there was jets flying a southernly pattern. They were very high--you could not hear their engines and they were going in the opposite direction of this object. The interesting part of these jets is I counted the time it took these jets to pass the same area that this object moved in. The jets took approximately 12 seconds. This object, at this point, was up to about 40 minutes. The object briskly moved to the south for a very short period of time, probably 30 seconds, and then went back to its northerly path. The movements were quite sharp in direction. It did not turn, but it just moved in the other direction for a period of time. When comparing the distances between these passenger jets probably 30K feet, this object seemed a lot further away. I finally told myself that I was really experiencing something that I never have before and went and brought out my telescope to see it more clearly. I set the telescope up and saw it very clearly. It was a saucer-like shape with a darker space in the middle, outlined in white with red and green circulating lights that seemed to be flashing/twinkling. I called my wife who came out and looked in the telescope and she saw the same thing I did. I asked her to call NASA at Moffet Field, but we couldn't get through. We then called the FAA who switched us to the Oakland Tower. They gave us your number. We called Channel 5--KPIX News Room and asked if anyone had reported anything out of the ordinary in the sky. The gentleman told me that yes there had been some reports and he said he thought it was t! he re-en try of a satellite. I told him I had the object in the sights of my telescope and that unless there building satellites that look like flying saucers that hover in the sky, I don't think it's a satellite. He told me he would check into it. I watched the 11 o'clock and there were no reports of anything, which of course, I really didn't expect anyway. My wife and I have never seen anything like this before. We are in our 40's and don't typically follow this type of thing. However, this did catch my attention and I know what I saw. I continued to follow this object till it went out of my line of sight/horizon and it's attributes remained the same.

Boomerang shaped lit up at the neds and center of the boomerang.

I was awakened by a my room being lit up through the sky light. After wards I went out side and gathered neighbors as witnesses. First there was one, then six. They were bright white and shaped like boomerangs lit up at the ends and center of the boomerang.

Silent Close Range White Light seen on Highway 280 south of Highway 92. Witnessed by 3.

When this first happened years ago - I told my mother, and we together made an online report to a UFO newsgroup. I was interviewed shortly thereafter by three people in the group, but do not recall if it was MUFON or other - so I'm posting this again, in hopes that someone knows something.

I was a Freshman in college driving South on I280 at 12:45am, after visiting my girlfriend in Pacifica. There were few other cars on the highway, but I had been next to roughly 3 vehicles since entering the highway. The night was very clear, no fog, I do not remember seeing the moon or recall if there was a lot of moonlight. It was a "warm" evening, for I had the sunroof open on my VW Jetta. I had just gone under the Highway 92 overcrossing and was between (2) Vista Points headed towards the "Edgewood Rd" Exit. I recall squinting my eyes for a bright light was shining through my back window. I reached up flipped the mirror to night mode and assumed nothing. The light passed under the over crossing and continued to bare down on my car and the two next to me. I slowed down and moved over to the slow lane, for I thought it was a police officer with his spot light on. We came around a slow curve to the right and the light had closed to within a 1/8th of a mile of traffic. At that point I realized that it was just too high above the road to be a car, but perhaps a tall truck. I couldn't make out any shape to it, just an intense white light. It continued to close distance and by this point I could tell that it was not connected to the ground for its movement was "smooth" and "frictionless". The light didn't jiggle like that of a car when it goes over bumps. I recall looking at the driver in the car to the left of me and getting a quizical look back from him, I motioned with my shoulders an "I Don't know" expression... When the light was a couple hundred yards behind us, it was clear it was at approximately 50' off the ground, but I couldn't not make out any sound over my car and the wind noise from the open sunroof. Once again I made an assumption and figured it was a police helicopter with a spot light, or perhaps a small Cesna. My mom and uncle are private pilots and I have a lot of experience around small aircraft. The white light certainly could have been a landing gear light, but I did not see any blinkin! g colored lights to depict a plane. The light then sped up and passed directly over the my car, and the two other vehicles near me. SILENTLY. I could make out a slight dull figure contained within the orb of light, but cannot faithfully say what shape it was. After passing us the light continued off in front of us for roughly another mile, when it made a HARD angular ascent at roughly a 65 degree angle and sped out of site. Shocked, myself and the guy in the car next to me pulled over to the side of the freeway and talked about the "thing." Neither of us could explain, or hypothesize what it was. Creeped out by the dark and lack of other cars on the road we left the scene. I exited at Edgewood Rd, and headed to my house on Crestview Dr in San Carlos. I told my Mom about what I saw and retrieved my police scanner. We sat outside on the back deck watching the western sky for hours, too wired to sleep. We heard little on the scanner of reference, but did hear a call for a CHP officer to investigate a bright light seen at a Vista Point, which are supposed to be closed at dusk. I hope this report helps or provides a link to someone else's experience.

Schools kids witness UFO

Around 1970 I was attending Bayside Middle School in San Mateo, California. I don't recall what time of year it was, but because of the weather I believe it was either early Fall or early Spring. It was a clear crisp morning with blue skies and no clouds.

I was with a small group of students, about a dozen of us, and Mr. Ford the Physical Education coach doing calisthenics near the swimming pool. We were waiting our turn to run laps, when we were all suddenly mesmerized by the sight of a UFO. No one said a word as we viewed this object for about 30 seconds before it disappeared.

The UFO was spherical in shape. It was a bright silver metallic color. The sun was reflecting off it's surface as it rotated in a revolving motion. Similar to a planet rotating on it's axis. It appeared to be about 200 feet above the ground and 150 yards from where we were at. It made no sound, and hovered in one position until it disappeared.

The most memorable thing about this sighting was how the UFO disappeared. Almost as in slow motion, it looked like the sky opened up and the UFO slipped in to it. The best way I can describe what this looked like is if you were to lay a coin on top of a piece of paper. Cut a small slit in the paper the size of the coin. Then slide the coin through the slit, so you can no longer see it. That's how this UFO appeared to disappear.

After the sighting, Mr. Ford was in shock and disbelief. He told us not to say a word or tell anyone about what we saw. I never understood his reason why.

Years later I tried to contact him. Unfortunately he never returned my message.

As a side note. At that time I was a newspaper delivery boy for the San Mateo Times, and recall reading a newspaper article about UFO sightings near Coyote Point in San Mateo. I have tried finding the article at the local library, but without success. Bayside Middle School and Coyote Point are both on the San Francisco bay just south of San Francisco International Airport.
