All white object hovering over West Los Angeles and then moving straight up slowly.

I initially thought this was a guy using a jet pack wearing an all white wing suit. The shape was like the Christ the Redeemer Statue. I observed it from the 405 freeway between the 90 and the 10. It appeared to be over Culver City, Cheviot Hills or maybe South Beverly Hills from my perspective. It was hovering and then moved slowly straight upwards. Someone else posted a sighting of this same object but a couple of hours earlier than me.

Craft was disk shaped with bright red and green lights (2 lines on bottom; bottom was more flat and on the top there was a small top.

The craft came out of nowhere. It was big. 2 rows of green and red bright lights (looked like Christmas Tree Lights) on the bottom and the bottom was straighter; rest of craft was disk shaped with a small top arc like top. I immediately put my cigarette out and went into the house and locked the sliding glass door. Did not sleep rest of night and am still up now. I feel tired, a little nauseous and extremely anxious.

On Friday night, I was looking up at the stars with a friend. When I noticed a very faint grey/black colored triangular object flying above me. All I could see were the chevron type wings with really dimly lit lights in uniform pattern. It seemed to be very large and was flying low, and lasted only a couple seconds. All of a sudden in jus disappeared into the clouds? It was by far the most bizarre thing I have ever seen flying in the sky. I actually had no clue what I had saw except that it wasn’t an airline aircraft by any means!. I now believe in UFOs after the sighting!

I saw a bright fireball looking object gliding down, then vanishing after 4 seconds, and it appeared to be very low in the sky, too,

I was sitting on the sidewalk, looking down the middle of the street, which is when I saw a bright fireball looking object gliding down, then vanishing after 4 seconds. It appeared to be very low in the sky too as if it were going straight into the trees. It was only one bright orange/yellow ball that sped through the sky, leaving no trail behind.

I walked outside of my 2nd story apartment about 11:12 pm to collect my laundry, as I got to the bottom of the steps I noticed what appeared to be a silent convoy of about 9 to 10 ships about 600 to 800 yards up- flying fairly low overhead, completely silent and in a perfect V formation with one in the front. The objects had no lights on but appeared to be a very light brown/tan in color with a subtle glow around each of them. At first I thought they might be birds- but in the short seconds I caught them flying overhead, I noticed one seemed to disappear then reappear, and I also noticed that one or two of them flipped themselves around once in a circle while still staying in the formation.

Also, the crafts appeared very defined- I was not able to make out a definitive shape, but was able to make out that they were some kind of intricate vessels with lines indicating either beveled edges or some kind of craftsmanship. I would estimate they were moving at a speed of about 150 miles an hour or more, It's hard to estimate exactly but they were moving very fast. I had dropped my laundry and tried to follow where they were headed- the most I could see was that they were heading south towards Inglewood/South Central.

By the time I pulled out my phone to video it, it was too late and I thought it was a once in a lifetime chance I couldn't miss a second of. My phone froze when I got inside and tried to call/message people.

About a minute later a helicopter flew overhead in the same general direction- there was no way it would've been able to catch them.

I am an insurance agent in West LA.

There were at least a dozen red star like objects floating overhead-- Some would disappear and more kept coming.

On Christmas Eve, 2013, at around 11:30 PM as I was taking my dog out before going to bed, I noticed many red lights floating overhead. They were going from east to west. They looked two to three times larger than Venus. They did not descend-they kept moving in a line formation. The first ones would disappear, but more of them appeared. There was a small plane in the area and they were almost at the same height. One of the lights moved closer to another one, but they continued toward the west. I ran, woke up my son and told him to hurry outside. He also saw them and neither of us knew what they were. At first I thought maybe they’re fireworks. I expected them to burst into flashes of color, but they didn’t. Then I thought they could be lanterns, but my son thought they were too high and why would anyone let lanterns float loose over a residential area where things could catch fire. Another friend thought maybe they were military flares, but they w! ere not descending-they kept on a straight path until they would disappear or flicker out. I would like to know what they were. I googled it to see if anyone else reported seeing them and that’s where I found your website. Hope you can tell us what they were.

Green light seen in western sky for approximately 12 minutes, moving strangely then disappearing.

We witnessed a green light (occasional red light on right) flying up slowly in the western sky (near Marina del Rey). The light stopped, then veered to the right, stopped, then left and back down, etc... for approximately 8 minutes, then shot up into the sky until we couldn't see it anymore (cloudy night). Then, approximately 3 minutes later it reappeared further south in the sky, did similar movements, then dropped out of sight towards the Earth (trees got in the way and we couldn't see it anymore). Perhaps it was a coast guard helicopter maybe? Appeared far too high and too bright to be a remote-controlled craft. Too cloudy to have been a satellite I think and definitely didn't move like any airplane I've ever read about.

Colorful UFO seen swooping and ascending at top speeds and disappearing and reappearing in West LA area

Two weeks ago I was walking home and noticed planes in the sky as usual, but noticed one object was flying at speeds that I had never seen before. It looked like it was flying in the culver city area. Last night around 1:15am I was cleaning my apt and looked out the window and saw the exact same aircraft again. It would fly from end to end faster than any helicopter or plane. It would ascend very high and then swoop really low and disappear, the reappear in another side of the sky. At times it looked like a disc with a row of blue green lights, then when it would fly higher and higher, it would only show a reddish orange light. The thing about it, was that it kept flying in the same pattern. I had never seen anything fly, disappear and reappear the way that thing did. I ended up driving towards it in culver city, and of course couldn't see anything. I know that other people who were driving or were out in the city saw it too.

I was taking the dog out and as I got to the door I looked up and saw a very large craft with a light pattern on the bottom which I have never seen before. It was flying north to northwest. I looked again because normally the planes don't fly that direction . Planes have red white and blue lights and only three. It moved very slow and again what struck me as odd was there was no sound what so ever. You could see the pattern of lights three on each side and 2 sets of 2 in between that. It just slowly went on it's way but I didn't continue to watch so I am not sure what happened. I have never seen anything like this object or its size which was possibly twice as large as a jet plane and it was flying at a higher altitude (not much higher) then the planes from lax..

"silver cigar"-UFO near Culver City

I saw a silver, cigar-shaped UFO in Culver City, California, while looking north near the intersection of Venice Boulevard and Overland Avenue at around 11:30-a.m.. It was the size of the first joint of my index-finger at arms-length and remained motionless. I couldn't judge its distance away from me but it looked to be at cloud-height. The sighting lasted only 5-seconds as the car I was being driven in stopped at a red-light that had a small-building blocking its view (it was gone when the car started moving again). It was very similar to the one I saw last year in nearby Westwood but only smaller (which was probably due to distance); the weather was even the same (i.e., clear, sunny and blue-skies).

SILVERY OBJECT SEEN HOVERING HIGH-ALTITUDE OVER CULVER CITY, CALIFORNIA

While filming the motion picture "Click" at Sony Studios in Culver City, CA, several eye witnesses (including myself) (all witnesses were Union and Non-Union Background Actors, Sony Studios employees, and crew members of various motion picture and television series productions) seen a metallic object in the sky. The conditions that day were clear/blue skied/sunny. The object hovered over the studios about 25,000-30,000 feet. A military-type aircraft also flying high-altitude, flew past this object. The object did not move for more than two (2) hours. Finally, all eyewitnesses were asked to proceed inside Studio 26 to perform with several Hollywood personalities. The object was silvery and shiny...as the sun reflected this object to be seen by many of the eyewitnesses. I did not initially spot this object. I was asked to go outside by another person to observe this object. I have no idea if this object was reported by another eyewitness and/or if a report was filed. Because we were on location at Sony Studios, there was NO record of any filming relating to or concerning aircraft or aerospace films--especially at the altitude of this object.

Boomerang shaped aircraft 10 lights over Culver City, CA

I was walking the dog and overhead about 45 degrees away going away from me, I noticed a boomerang shaped aircraft with 10 white lights. Very strange.

It was up about 5,000 feet and headed in a northerly direction from Culver City to Westwood.

The lights appeared to be in in a wavy/translucent pattern. It absolutely was not normal aircraft of any kind.

Very bright light, approx altitude 50,000 feet, moving SSE direction at steep upward angle.

Noticed a very bright light almost directly east with azimuth about 80 degrees. Object at first appeared to be very bright misplaced planet or star (more like a planet), then started moving! I guestimate altitude at about 50,000 + feet, rapidly headed upward with slight South-South-Easterly direction. As it continued up, light became dimmer rapidly, almost as though there was a spotlight pointed down at me and it was slowly rotated towards the horizon as it travelled up. No sounds were audible. We live in the flight path of planes leaving LAX, this was NOT a regular flight plan, or holding pattern around the airport. The altitude was VERY high. This did not appear to be anything I've seen from Edwards AFB (close by). There was no visible exhaust trail of any kind. The sky was clear and without clouds and only slightly hazy (it had just rained within the last day). After exclaiming this to my girlfriend, she says she saw two similar objects approximately two weeks earlier, but didn't mention it at the time, therefore we have no date or time to report, other than it was in the early evening, after dark. She saw two separate objects a minute or two apart, both travelled in the same direction. She witnessed no dimming of the light, but the objects travelled a short distance before disappearing. She describes them as looking like moving stars that just disappeared from the sky. Not sure if these were even UFOs, but would like some possible explanation.

Star like objects moving irregularly

On the 4th of July 1999 I was at Culver City park to observe the fireworks, before they started I was Looking through my binoculars at the stars in the sky when in the heavens as if theywere stars and looking just like stars I observed about 5 to 6 "stars" moving in odd directions, moving forward backward sideways and in circular motions around a slightly larger "star" they were blinking or flashing brightly as if communicating with each other and the larger "star". This went on for at least an hour while I watched them instead of the fireworks, I began to feel as if someone or something was watching me wether it was up in the sky or in the park on the ground, it gave me the creeps and I got me and my kids out of there just as soon as I could. I dont know if anyone has seen lights, stars, ufos like these but it was real and surreal.

Culver City, California A Huge Disk With Lights Around The Edge Date: Around August 1965 Time: Evening HBCC UFO Research Note: I spoke to the lady on the telephone who filed this report of the object seen over the drive in theatre in Culver City, California. She related an amazing detailed account of what was witnessed, not only by herself, but others saw the unusual object as well.

Message: Some time around August 1965 I was at a drive in theatre in Culver City, California. At intermission time a huge disk with lights around the edge suddenly appeared to hover above the screen. It was fairly low, but high enough that we had to bend our heads down to see it through our front windshield. My husband and were pointing and wondering when I looked around and saw others in cars nearby also looking and pointing. It stayed there for about 2 minutes and then banked off for about 2 or 3 seconds before just disappearing.

I've always wondered about it and tell the story once in a while. I recently told it to my 8 year old grandson. When he asked me what it was doing there, I said, "Good question, I've always wondered that." Then I added that I thought it might have beamed something into my stomach, as I was about 6 months pregnant at the time, and after his mother was born her skin "buzzed."

I am a retired school teacher. I decided to do a search for sightings in Culver City around this date to see if anyone else saw this and wrote about it. I found nothing but did find several stories about drive-in theatres. Thought I'd tell you. Have you ever heard of buzzing skin?
