UFO stopping & going in nite sky

From my front porch upstairs apartment viewed the night sky and then suddenly saw a fast-moving bright firefly-like object flying & stopping eastward. I observed the UFO for approximately 10 minutes. It was traveling eastward and would be flying at a speed conventional airplanes don't do and it wasn't a rocket or a comet. It would stop or slow down on a dime and then start speeding off again. It looked like a bright fire-fly way up in the Heaven's night sky. I went to go get camera, but it was moving to fast for me to capture it in time--no vid. I did note the time was 6:03pm on January 12, 2025 in El Cajon, CA.

Light was directly overhead. Flashing colors moving eratically in small circles, wandering and back and forth, with instant stopping.

Was outside to watch for starlink launch. Right when I saw the line of 15-30 starlinks go by in a straight line at say 20-30 from horiz, directly above at 90 deg was a bright star like light. It was flashing blue and green and red and white. It was moving side to side and stopping and changing directions. Also going in circle. It remained in the same area for more than 10 minutes. It would often turn white and sit very still, then begin moving strangely again.

16 Shiny Objects Above El Cajon, CA

While having my trees trimmed on Sunday, October 8th at 10:07 AM my wife noticed a bunch of shiny flying objects. I immediately started filming. I captured 1.5 minutes and iPhone quality video. I wish I gave it my full attention until they completely disappeared. There were no sharp movements that I could tell. My wife thought they were drones. They were very high altitude and seemed to flash a little. After the video I checked back a few minutes later. The large group seemed to be disbursed. The few remaining visual objects i could see were further west than previously spotted.

Upside down pyramid shaped figure in broad daylight hovering stationary over shopping center

We were driving to California for the 4th of July and while on the freeway I was staring out of the passenger side window and got to view it for about 10-15 seconds before it was out of sight from our point on the freeway. It was a fairly large upside down pyramid shaped object, neutral light grey color. I was in the midst of a psychotic episode, but had no visual hallucinations. I was terrified that if I brought the craft to anyone's attention that there would be people coming after me and the ones who knew about it.

Shape-shifting Cube like object in energy orb flying in a straight path trajectory

This is a photo taken in El cajon California by myself, this object was flying at jet speed in a very straight trajectory with no means of propulsion to the naked eye. This object appeared to start shape-shifting when I finally opened my phone it was almost too late. I got some great pictures though and everyone of them it looks like a different object. This is so crazy because I always look at the sky and it seemed very surreal but humbling. I have more photos and video but would like to keep these to myself and not include on this report. I feel like this is very paranormal for I was looking for this and it appeared.

Started on February, 27,2021 of fires balls coming from bright blue egg shaped sphere. This has been going on every since that night. I have complete images from February,27,2021 through March,10,2021. Through my camera saw green light up ball, this green glow flies around near lights and could only be seen through camera that zoomed in a bit. I also took images of green glowing lanterns, colored spiral balls . March ,9,2021 caught ufo image through Live Photo taken, with bright light beaming down from really far I couldn’t see the start of the light. They won’t leave me alone there always here every night I’m starting to feel scared. I’m unaware of what they’re capable of doing, or what they want .

This activity usually starts around 730 pm through 3-4 am

My wife and I were in our backyard enjoying a fire after a break in the rain when in the direct east over the hills of Dehesa I noticed what I thought was a star, but it was amber in color and as I watched it, it slowly rose straight up at a very consistent and measured rate. Once I realized it I motioned to my wife, whose back was to it, she turned and noticed it. As soon as she saw it the object shot directly north at an incredible speed and out of sight.

It was the middle of the day. I saw 5 metal helmet shaped craft flying in a diagonal upside down L formation right very quickly .

I was facing north west outside on my front patio it was the middle of the day. It was cold outside and the sky had these clouds moving across the sky I was looking up at the sky when I saw movement in the sky from my left. There was 5 steel like objects that were shaped like hollow helmets flying in a diagonal upside down L shaped formation. I wanted to take a picture but by the time I got a good look and determined pointed my phone to take a picture I couldn't see them anymore .

I went outside to smoke a cigarette and looked up into the sky, at first I thought I saw a plane but then the light went from barely moving, to shooting across the sky and disappearing.

I debated on whether or not my eyes were playing tricks on me and maybe it was a shooting star or meteor, but it seemed to be awfully close to be something like that. It looked as though it was near the clouds. Not to mention the way it went from barely moving like a plane to shooting off across the sky?

I was in my backyard and looked up to the sky when I heard a passenger airliner flying overhead, I soon noticed a very light gray in color triangle shaped object moving quite quickly in a south direction...

There was no sign of a vapor any kind of trail following it as one would see on most jets, military of commercial...

I also noticed that the lines did not seem to be sharp angles but almost a roundness to them at the points, one other thing I recall is the body seemed to have a bit of a metallic finish...

The object was lost in the high cloud formations...

A fast moving object was falling out of the sky. It looked like one of those plains that leave a smoke trail behind, but it was bigger, faster, it had a weird glow around it, and it looked liked it had something in the center of it.

My mother, brother, and neighbor just saw a flashing object that moved like an octopus ejecting clouds with light as well..the light or clouds did not move. Orange sphere over El Cajon.

At approximately 7:00PM, Saturday evening, September 13, I observed an orange sphere shaped object, motionless, about 35 degrees elevation from level ground with an estimated distance of 1/2 mile. The sky was clear with clouds in the far distance.

At first I was convinced it was an amateur weather balloon, but it was very breezy out and the object did not move at all. The wind was blowing out of the southwest at about 5 knots, gusting to 7-8. My viewing angle was north-northeast.

After watching the object for about 90 seconds, seeing no movement, I ran inside to get my binoculars for a closer look. When I returned roughly 20 seconds later the object was no longer visible. I had an unobstructed view of the sky within a 120 degree arc of the sighting.

The approximate location would be near the intersection of Interstate 8 and Second Ave.

Approximate diameter of the object is 4'. No lights or illumination noticed. The color was a solid international orange. Guestimate of altitude: 800'.

Red Orb over El Cajon again!

I was driving back from a restaurant around 10:40pm.

I was at a stop light, and I saw this red/orange orb in the sky so I told my friend who was in the car with me to check out that red light. He looked up too, and within seconds it was flashing lights from each side, at that moment I thought it was just an airplane but I kept looking, and this orb dropped a red light which disappeared within seconds.

The orb was still in the sky, and had stopped blinking from the sides.

About a minute later the Orb looked like it was flickering, and started to disappear, but my friend said he could still see it in the sky while I was driving, and the light was very faint by this time.

I think it disappeared about 30 seconds after that.

On July 3, 2014, my girlfriend and I went to pick up some friends from the local Apple bees, And we and 2 others stopped at the 7-11 on Broadway And Mollison,In El Cajon.

We let out my friend to get a drink, and sat in the car waiting for him, A van pulled up next to us, as we waited with a family the husband went in, my Girlfriend stepped outside of the car and said, ”Look what the hell is that?” and to our Right in the south west Sky Was a reddish orb,

At first in inspection it appeared to be still, but It was moving! It moved in a north direction in the sky, disappeared and then appeared in another spot and then moved south and then it was gone, this is not the first time we have seen these I have seen this 5 times in the last year.

Two smoothly flashing lights appear above sky before end of lunar eclipse.

Shortly after the Moon began to leave the Earth's umbra, I noticed 2 star-like lights lying (seemingly) motionlessly to the left of the Big Dipper. They began to flash back and forth, in a seemingly inconsistent pattern.

The flashing was not like that of a commercial aircraft's blinking, but rather a smooth transition from dim to bright. They were exactly the same color as a bright blue star. One light would make a short flash, and then another would a few seconds later, but the pattern was extremely irregular.

The object then began to move across the sky toward the right of the Big Dipper and increased and slowed in speed. I tracked it with my telescope until it made a turn and headed over my roof, where it then disappeared.

Although it was too dark to make out a shape, I may have seen some thin wings. I couldn't make out the rest of the fuselage, however. It was also completely silent. I don't know whether or not the motionlessness was wind, true hovering or an optical illusion.

Two erratic blinking lights spotted in East County that moved, vanished, reappeared, traveled, and finally disappeared into eastern sky.

Me and my children saw 2 erratic blinking lights (resembling stars) in the northern sky (over Santee/Poway area) that stayed stationary for 20+min before slowly descending eastward toward the horizon. Then, one of the lights flickered to nothing while the second light remained lit and descended even faster before disappearing into the northern horizon. All of the sudden, my oldest daughter saw both lights (Still blinking) reappear in western sky within a minute after vanishing. Then the two blinking lights slowly moved to the east above us, pausing for brief moments, only to continue moving eastward. The blinking was very irregular, sometimes they remained lit (like to blend in with the stars), other times like a strobe, and blinking steadily as well. The lights seemed to remain right over us for sometime. My oldest and I played a game with the lights (joking that we should try to communicate with whatever it was) as they moved right above us using our flashlight's strobe setting. It was crazy as they were mimicking our own light pattern. Eventually the lights moved closer together and further east as they finally faded out in the eastern sky? I thought about weather balloons, planes, helicopters, satellites, but none of these would have that kind of activity! I even had my oldest daughter to confirm these lights, just before the vanished, then she found them in the western sky!

At 1130 PM I looked out of my back yard West towards Mt San Miguel.

I initially saw two objects one that was Large and Blue/Purple and one that was Orange. After a period of time I saw another orange glowing orb.

These objects initially looked like they were lowered down from the sky on a string but then began to dip and fly all over the place at a very high rate of speed.

At the end of my viewing the Large Blue Object Flew very close to me. I would estimate its size to be about 100FT Long.

The Blue Glowing Orb intensified its Glowing and began to rise to altitudes that made the object hard to see and then would drop straight down to maybe a mile or so above the earth.

The orb then lowered to just above the ground and two Military Helicopters showed up and the thing disappeared and the helicopters circled for maybe a half an hour after the thing left....

The three orbs seemed to almost touch frequently.

Small object that dropped two sets of reddish lights, and hovered for some 15 minutes.

Looked up in southwest sky and observed for some 15 minutes a slow moving object. It was almost at a hover about 3000 feet when suddenly it dropped off two sets of descending reddish lights on each side- like a light colored flare. These lights went out within 5 seconds or so. The object then dropped the lights a second time with similar results. The object also had one amber light that was always visible.It then disappeared. There was no sound, and the object was difficult to discern in shape. This was reported to the San Diego area FAA.

Just above the clouds were several flare like objects in the sky.

Looked for the last couple of hours to see if there were any reports but have not found any.

To me it looked like an airplane dropping white flares but who knows...?

two friends in daytime view multiple statiopnary lights for more than 15 min in El Cajon, Califoria.

I was on friends large property in El Cajon when I saw a friend of mine in the back yard staring up into a clear blue cloudless sky. I asked "Yo, Don what are you trippin on?" He replied that he was watching a plane pass up in the sky when he noticed a fixed object (not moving) in the background of passing plane.

I at first thought ok your full of crap but I will look. As my eyes stared and adjusted to the daylight it took a moment aprox. 2-3min before sure enough plain as day with the naked eye I could see what to me looked like maybe a high altitude weather ballon or possibly a planet being able to be viewed during the day if that where possible.

For at least 5 min I stared at the said object with my friend. He asked if I had binoculars handy and I did. I then walked to my trailer and was able to zoom into the object for a better look, what I saw I can only say I dont know what it was but what I thought would be a white object was actually one very bright light then turning to two.

It in my estimate was higher than any commercial airliner and seemed to not move except at one point it seeemed to drop closer to us. What was even more bizarre was that higher above the said object there to me appeared to be a circular shadow. We viewed the primary object plain as day for aprox 15-20 min.

When the experience was near over my friend was looking through the binoculars and I with the naked eye. To me in a fraction of a second it vanished. Now although the circular shadow was not visible to the naked eye I did see it faintly before the light was gone. Like I said, to me looked it had the appearance of a far distant planet.

I did not think at all what I saw was light coming from something. As I viewed the one light became two lights. Looking through binoculars my friend saw the said object split into three and vanished I can say I for one did not see that.

Dear Mr. Davenport, Sorry it has taken me a bit to get back to you, consequently I have been a bit busy lately. As for your question I can say in great confidence that over 17 years as a sport boat captain I know good and bad quality when it comes to binoculars I had a pair of expensive Minolta binoculars I used that day with a special rubber end cover that blocks out even the smallest amount of light that may enter through the sides when viewing. The reason I know the light changed from one to two then three was to me it looked to be pivoting or slowly spinning around in it's stationary spot. So what my grasp of it is that whatever it was it was rotating in a way that aloud me to see it like a car rounding a turn and you see the first headlight and as it completes the turn the second headlight comes into your view. I hope this analogy helps you a bit. Like I mentioned before I have seen a lot of stuff in my time yet I can't for the life of me explain exactly what it was. I do appreciate you listening since nobody else does. I am an upstanding citizen with a perfect driving record I have never been known to be a fabricator of crazy stories I look at everything with an unbiased mind my reputation with friends is my honesty and trust I have built with many. I'm sure of what i saw and described it on the phone exactly.

This is my honest report on what i saw and will not reveal any personal info about myself.

On the 21st of june 2013 in el cajon, CA i was talking on the phone to someone outside smoking a cigarette and then i saw a bright white light over the hill come up abruptly then i noticed it was coming straight towards me in a residential district when it was flying low so i walked closer and interrupted the conversation to let the other person on the line know what i was seeing. The light got closer and closer and was completely silent and had 1 main light in the middle and when it was coming towards me i saw lights shift from port(left) to starboard(right) and back and forth. The lights changed colors and moved from both sides, port and starboard of the craft. I've been in the navy as a logistics specialist (LS) and am a trained lookout for surface and aerial contacts on a ship and have seen many lights at a distance of nautical miles in open sea and in other countries and have nev! er seen an aircraft anything like this. The person on the line was totally freaked out by what i was describing and i was totally interested in what was going on.

I would have been a lot more concerned if it stopped right over me, but instead it kept moving circling the city changing lights as if it appeared to be a plane at a distance but it was about 500 yards above me. I'm used to giving locations of contacts off the port bow, so i would say that if when i was looking at it, it came up at 00 degrees or my centerline and moved in a circle at my centerline then zig zagged slowly moving to my port side up and over slightly to the left of me moving 2, then 2.5, then 3, then 4 points off the port bow (as if i was locating it on the ship with MSC-Military Sealift Command type navigation as my ship was crewed as part navy and part MSC)(wont give name or country) and kept moving eventually out of sight. Then a low flying plane flew right over me about 5 mins after the event and ! i could clearly see the difference. Not to mention my phone so! unded like it was staticy like i was being listened to. I wouldn't be surprised because it was a non-secure line. The thing is we never see anything flying low at 2200 at night in a residential area as i go out a lot to smoke a cigarette.

I know that this is not that detailed, but it was very detailed on the phone.

My phone couldn't zoom in to take pics, but for whatever its worth i wanted to let people know i'm a credible veteran who was honorably discharged 2 months ago to go to college and i saw this right outside the house and didn't know what else to do but write it down. I just googled how to report ufo and here i am. A drone would have made noise, even if it were a static noise. We need full disclosure and we need it now more than ever with the protests around the world because we see all the lies and secrecy.

Bright Amber Orange Light, Multi-Colored Object, Rapid Changing Lights

On December 18th 2011 a bright amber orange light was visible in the night sky over El Cajon California. The Light was traveling from north to south very slowly. This light was like nothing I have ever seen. As it passed over head myself and witnesses could say it wasn't a plane because we would have seen flashing lights underneath the object. Upon zooming in on the light it was multi-colored, and had what looked like, rapid changing lights. The lights were orange, yellow and red, which seemed to be moving very fast in all directions and changing form. Taking a closer look at the video and slowing it down it appeared to keep making the form of a triangle. It doesn't make sense why these light which looked independent of one another made a bright amber orange light in the sky. There was no sound emitted from the object, its rate of speed remained constant from north to south and disappeared over the hills.

"Fake stars" over San Diego, CA

At turn of the new year, I stepped outside a moment before it turned midnight and noticed three red lights hovering. I would like to point out these are not the lights I'm referring to as these have been dismissed as a hoax.

That being said, the red lights caused me to notice the sky more than I had been and my husband and I noticed at least a couple dozen stars that flicker, rather than twinkle as a star does. These lights can be either a silvery color, or golden, but they all alternately flash red also. The first couple nights, we just gazed in amazement and didn't notice too many details. But I do know they seemed to move very slowly if you watched them long enough. I don't mean that my perspective on them changed as Earth rotated; I mean that they steered every so slowly to a different position and then stopped. They also seemed to be clustered in one small area around Orion's belt mostly, until Orion's belt moved out of sight. BUT even after Orion moved out of sight these strange fake stars would still be in the same area. They never left the area even after Orion (there are rarely any other stars visible in San Diego at night lately) was way out of sight due to the Earth's rotation.

Nights of 1/3-1/5, I stayed out as often and late as I could given that I have three kids to take care of. I peeked out a couple times per hour, staying up late and watching them til 3 or 4 in the morning. They seemed to light in 1 position and stay there constantly for the most part on these nights, with the occasional one disappearing suddenly or shifting slightly. Colors remain same. I have noticed that there is one set that I call the Non-Rectangle, because if it weren't for one "star" being up and out a little bit too much, they would form a perfect rectangle. However, they are in a different configuration every night, i.e. the "slightly off star" would be on the bottom and left one night, and on top and right the next. Makes me think it's a craft that lands in a different spot every night and thinks we won't notice.

1/6 and 1/7, 2010 I have not been able to go outside to watch their behavior, I have just had too many things to do.

I got video, in fact about 10 of them with my webcam since I don't have a regular camera, but strangely, I can't get them to upload to any of the sites I tried to upload them to. I managed to get 1 pic on my cell phone to show up and I will try to attach it.

The oddest thing of all to me, is that no one else is talking about them, everyone is concentrated on the sham red lights of New Year's Eve that one guy hoaxed. However, my kids and mom see them, and so does my apartment complex manager, so they are truly there.

One other strange detail is that on 1/3-1/5, there have been a highly unusual number of small, low-flying normal planes as well as helicopters, making me wonder if they're "investigating." I have not been able to stay awake and outside to witness them make their "disappearance" at dawn so I don't know what that consists of.

They are currently still there, although small in number at this precise moment. I can't figure out for the life of me why people aren't interested in them.

Three red lights over the San Diego area - IT'S A HOAX YET AGAIN!!

My brother and I went outside right after New Year to see if "they" were there, and sure enough, the idiot had done it once again, just like clockwork on every holiday! We observed three red lights that looked like burning road flares floating a few thousand feet up in the dark sky, and we even watched as one burned out. They appeared to be hanging and dangling in the light wind from a triangular frame of some kind.

I've been told that the person claiming to have continually perpetrated this hoax had been interviewed on a San Diego TV news show in shadow to conceal their identity awhile back and had agreed not to do it again, but apparently they lied, or it's someone else doing it now. Maybe it DOES fall under the category of "UFO", but it's definitely terrestrial, and it's also a dangerous HOAX!

Red light east of San Diego and west of Alpine looking south from Interstate 8

We are located 30 miles east of San Diego, along Interstate 8. We observed a red light in the sky that appeared to have other smaller red lights below or around it. The red light was as large as one of the planets and was due south of us. It also appeared to be higher in the sky than the flight path normally taken by planes flying to our local airports.

As the two of us watched it over a period of time of about 15 minutes, we observed three things in particular.

First, the light would slowly get brighter, then dim, then get brighter, then dim. At the brightest, it was red but as bright as Venus. At the faintest, it was still as bright as most stars.

Secondly, it appeared to be motionless for at least five minutes, if not longer as we first watched it. We ruled out flares and fireworks of any kind because it was just there, not moving, just changing its brightness.

Third, we realized that it was finally moving and appeared to be actually drifting up and to our left in an approximately 45 degree angle eastward. This took an estimated ten minutes.

It then disappeared before it reached where the moon was but the moon’s light was not the reason it disappeared…it just finally faded out completely.

I dont know if what I saw was a UFO but there were four red lgihts in the sky and they were observed by at least 20 people as we were waiting for fireworks to begin. Two of the lights seemed to stay side by side. Two of the lights disappeared and the other two continued across the sky and we lost sight as the fireworks started.

Four red lights travelling east out of San Diego south of El Cajon.

At 2035 7.4.09 I observed four red luminous single red lights moving in an easterly trajectory out of San Diego. The four lights were well spaced apart, the second and third running an almost parallel course. Although red, they were luminous like Venus. The moon was in the sky, full and in the SE sky. The four lights passed almost directly overhead, never flickering. The flightpath to nearby Gillespie Field received two incoming light planes in that time that the lights were observed. The eastern flight path out of Lindberg Field San Diego is further south. The lights appeared to gain a vertical altitude upon reaching a point south of the city of El Cajon. The continued slowly tracking east, maintaining the same luminosity. Further to the east 4th of July fireworks began but were in the sky at a much lower altitude to the light.

What my wife and I saw was triangular, silent, and the part that get's me is it had no lights at all. It looked larger then the local aircraft which are small single engine four person planes. There is an airport only a few block away from where I saw this and that's why I figure it should have been lit. Three red lights outline huge red triangle over San Diego Coutny sky.

3 bright red lights forming a isosceles triangle, but almost equilateral. You could barely make out a very faint line in a off-glow red. An even fainter off-glow red inside the formed triangle. The size was too huge to explain. It seemed far off in the distance but still large enough to be seen clearly, but to still realize that it was humungous. Maybe hundreds of feet between each light. Maybe 20 or more miles away. It was about thirty degrees above the horizon. It looked alot like flairs but there was no smoke. They were not rising or falling. This all took place over the course of 10 minutes or so. So there was plenty of time for an elevation change. Then it sort of rotated and pitched forward ever so slowly. The rotation was the lower left light seemed to move forward or maybe the right moved backward. As it levelled out it faded from view. Sort of just dimmed out. It didn't race away and take sharp turns or anything weird like that. I say weird, because what we saw seemed weird just a short while ago. It never came over our part of the county. # witnesses.Two middle thirty aged adults. M/F, some college, both work in the medical field. One helps SNF Nurses coordinate patient placement after hospital stay. The other works in the ER of a different hospital. The other witness, my neighbor, is a mid sixtyish, retired. His wife is a Hospice nurse and he did not want to wake her once it left. Both of tried to get a picture on our cell phones. I haven't talked yet to my neighbor to view his. Mine did not seem to pick it up. I'm an amateur with the five hundred billion app's that phones have. Anyway what we saw was valid.

TWO LARGE WHITE CIRCULAR LIGHTS DANCED OVER EL CAJON CA.

Shortly after 21:00 hours I went outside to snack on 3 pieces of left over pizza at a patio table next to my motor home. I saw some flashing lights in the sky. I thought at first they might be sky -searching advertising lights but saw no connection to the ground. I saw two very large circular/oval white nebulous shapes making very quick circular patterns in the sky. The two white shapes were hazier than search lights and their patterns danced quickly as if two children were playing with LED lights. They circled counter-clock-wise continuously and always avoided overlapping each other. They seem to be chasing each other like two butterflies in the sky. Their flight patterns seem to be extemporaneous and random circling left in small areas and at other times very large areas many miles apart. At times they disappeared behind thin layers of clouds. The clouds were not low and there were not many clouds. I was fascinated by this and thought to myself I had never seen anything like this in my 63 years on Earth. I walked two doors down and brought out my neighbor to view the scene. He agreed that he had never seen anything like that and added he did not believe that it could be search lights, LED lights or airplanes and stated that it looked very high. We watch the sky together for 10 minutes as the lights continued to circle in playful quick patterns. I heard the Apartment Mgr. calling her cat and went down two more trailers to tell her to look up in the sky but before I got there the lights disappeared. orange light flying through sky during new years

New year's eve we were on the porch about midnight, I looked up in the sky and saw an orange colored triangular shaped object. We all started arguing about what the object was, comet, plane, metorite, it looked as though part of it fell off of it , or another smaller craft seperarted from it. then it just "turned off" or used some sort of cloaking devise. then about 3 min later it reapperd for only a couple of seconds, then dissapered for good. haven't seen anything like this before and i've seen comets and meteors before.

Orb of light changed directions rapidly in the sky

This is the second time I have witnessed this type of activity early in the morning. The first was at 4:45am with my fiancée and this was at 5:38 am. Alone. I was walking my dogs and looked up into the sky because a bright orb caught my eye. As I looked at it, it seemed to be about ¾ of a mile to a mile away. It moved up and then down and then back and diagonally very quickly and then stopped abruptly to hover. As it hovered it was swinging slightly from right to left, then it crossed the sky towards the east very slowly emitting a white light. No plane or helicopter I know of moves that way. The bright white light was moving slower than the first one I encountered in February that moved very very quickly across the sky in al directions.

OK, I have never admitted to seeing anything out of the norm...at least on record. Two nights ago my husband and I were out on our balcony off of the 8E and 2nd street. We had our telescope out looking at the moon. My husband spots something and he say like what the heck is that? I am looking thru the scope and he says, point it at that, I’m like yeah let me just move this thing, refocus into our atmosphere and see...no luck. They were flying E to W. I am going to say about 200 feet off the ground, but they were big. Not like, I can see the pilot in the helicopter big, but I could clearly see the shapes and the light that emitted from the objects. The light that was coming off of them wasn't bright or noticeable. It was a grayish red, very low light. Almost like radiance. There were several craft (6 to 7 maybe) flying in almost a V formation (yes, like birds) Then one moved from one point of the triangle to the other, but the movements were not bird movements. Like jet formations more than birds, but these were NOT jets! The constant movement across the sky was very slow, but their movement when one changed its position in the formation was very fast. No wings, birds or bats, no noise either. The bodies of the crafts almost looked the shape of Sting rays (bodies only). We tried to tell each other that they were birds, but we both knew better. Yeah yeah that's it. Birds. Weird glow...almost too low to notice. We watched them as they appeared over the top of one roof until they past from our line of site over another roof. We see helicopters and planes in that area all of the time and in fact a small plane had just past over that area about 10 minutes prior. Nothing like that either. I have looked at the skies my whole life...over 30 now. I’m not some loopy person that can easily mistake one thing for something it's not. I am very skeptical and analytical. Both of us are. We didn't know what to do, we were kind of frozen...we knew if we took our eyes off of them, they would be gone. So we ! just wat ched them until they flew over our roof. If anyone else saw them, please let me know. It's kind of weird thinking you're the ONLY ONE!! :)

Two bright objects travelling over San Diego headed north. High altitude, possibly outside atmosphere.

I was cleaning my pool tonite, and happened to look up and see two fast moving lights travelling from the south to the north very fast. After the first 5 seconds of focusing in on both lights, the second one disappeared. These looked to be outside of our atmosphere as the light looked to be reflected from the sun. If the second one vanished that fast, it must have dropped into the atmosphere very fast and out of the suns path. The one that stayed in my vision the longest, appeared to make a sudden corrective change but still heading north. The light was bright white. I thought it might be a satellite, however there were two of them and they were close together going in the same direction.

Red Lights Over El Cajon, California

On July 4, 2006, my son and I observed an object consisting of three red lights, which changed color often. The object was to our East, between Fletcher Hills and the City of El Cajon in California about 15 miles East of San Diego.

The lights appeared to be moving away from us slowly in an Eastward direction. The three lights formed a triangular shape, and the top light would pulsate on and off, as well as the red on all three lights would change in color and intensity. The red color was about as red and bright as a laser pointing device. There was numerous small aircraft in the area from Gillespie Field (Three letter airport code: SEE)in El cajon and as well, many commercial airliners passing overhead (altitude would be about 3000 to 6000 feet for the commericial aircraft on this approach - yes I am a rated private pilot) in the approach pattern to Lindbergh Field in San Diego. However, the light pattern was not conistent with an airplane, nor was the movement consistent with either a helicopter or airplane. The object appeared to be steady (non-moving) for about 5 minutes, then it started drifting slowly to the ESE. The object then vanished. Our view was not blocked or obstructed, so it did not go behind a building, tree, cloud, etc., it just appeared to go dark all of a sudden. A small plane in the touch and go landing pattern at Gillespie Field (they use runway 27R during night ops) flew through the area within two minutes of us losing visual contact of the object. We tried to take digital photographs, but my son has yet to download them to the computer so we can see if we captured anything or not. This was also not mistaking the local fireworks displays going on around town, as we could not see any fireworks from our location and the object bore no resemblence to any fireworks. The weather was clear, with no clouds or low lying fog in the area - visibility was about 20 miles, temperature was approximately 80 Deg F, with light winds. We could see plenty of stars in and around where we saw the object both before, during and after the event. There was no sound heard from the object, nor was there any sudden movements. The appearence and disappearence were the only quick actions by the object, and the movement was similiar to a hot air ballon, in that it seemed to drift more than fly. We have seen many hot air ballons, and there was no flame present such as what a hot air ballon would have, only three red lights and a visible dark area between the lights, which we believed to be the structure of the object. I tried to logically explain what it was to myself since observing the object last night, but I can not come up with anything which I can say, yes that is what it was. I have had to file this in my mind as "unknown" or when my son asked me what it was, I said "I have no idea kiddo" and that is where it remains.

we were watching the fire works from my house, which on a decent sized hill, they are at about eye level when at a red object/dot was noticed staying stationary in the sky well above the flight path of a normal air craft, at about the point in the sky where you would point to if you pointed straight up, the slow flashing dot got smaller as it soon disapeared from sight, somewhat like a craft leaving the atmosphere. it stayed starionary and slowly blinked red then disapeared from sight after we watched for a short time. looked like a far away star went super nova or a somthing way up in the sky that stayed stationary then disapeared, let me know if anyone else in the san diego area saw it, it was odd.

I am Christian and was a serious skeptic about ufos until I had these encounters. The first time that I saw this aircraft I was driving in my car and was pulling into our bulidings parkinglot area and a and I just happened to look to left over my shoulder and not even a hundrd feet in the air was a what looked like a ufo it hovered for two mintues straight and made absolutely no sound. There was also a man outside on his phone who dropped his phone and stood and stared at he object. its lights were moving in a strange pattern. The lights were much like that of an airplane only much brighter and more crisp. The object shown a white light on my car then took off very slow at first ( still not making any noise) then took off very fast. It slowed down then stopped a few more blocks away and once again hovered. Since that day we have seen many more. I assume it is me, and that i am subject of interest. I use the same way to go to work and the same way to get back home every evening, and since that day I have noticed that I am being followed by not just one but several aircraft, and believe me I know how crazy this sounds, but seeing is believing. when I stop at red lights they stop too and wait and on four different ocassions my light turned green when it shouldn't have , the other traffic was still going. this has been happening to me for almost four weeks, I haven't reported it because i thought i was going nuts. I mean it defies everything i was ever taught. I really don't understand it. I want to ignore it all but the keep showing up and they make themselves all too obviuos, I am just your average hard working loving mom and spouse, and I want this all to stop so much. I want my life to go back to normal, I want ot forget what has happened and move on with my life. Monitor the El Cajon CA valley PLEASE! there is tons of activity. You must be very careful not to mistake them for airplanes, I believe that they try to make themselves appear to be just like an airplane but when , you look closely enough you will see that they are not.

It looked like a black flying saucer.. i noticed it half a mile away from Washingtion street driving towards Sycuan. It looked like a plane far away but the light looked a little bit too big. I got to the stop sign and me and my friend noticed it was not a plane and it was really low. It had two wings a light on each wing. The wings were on the side. it was circulating in the air and i tried to follow it but i lost it because it went over the mountains toward Jamacha Rd.

Like many other before we noticed two bright red lights in the sky moving side by side at aircraft speed. However, there was no noise,no typical aircraft blinking lights, they were just bright red light quite appart from each other making them two distinctive objects.

This is the third time that we see them in the same area South/East El Cajon. This time they seemed closer and were fliying toward us so we waited for them to get close enough to try to make a distiction but they suddenly changed direction dimming and disapearing in the sky.

Red light UFO over El Cajon, July 4th, 2005, for the 3rd year in a row

July 4th, 2005, at apx 9pm, a red oval/circular unidentified object appeared again this year over El Cajon. Last year same apx time, there were two lights traveling side by side for apx 45 minutes to one hour. This year only one object was present, and it appeared in apx the same location, and disappeared within a couple of miles, and was viewable for apx 45 minutes or less.

A semi solid looking fuzzy red light (to the human eye), moving along an extremely slow pace that no know man made aircraft could maintain. No running or flashing lights, no noises made either. It looked like it would take 15 minutes to go just one mile. For the most part it maintained a consitant light source, but would on ocassion alter in intensity, and also seemed to vibrate or move strangely for a moment from time to time.

This happened again just before all the scheduled fireworks were to go off, so there should be hundreds or thousands of people seeing what my girlfriend and I saw. I stayed until the object vanished, it basically started to ascend to a higher altitude, and disappeared. I headed back home (we had gone out for a walk with our dog), my girlfriend had already went home, upon me arriving home, she pointed out in another location south of El Cajon, CA, another strange unidentified object in the sky. This one was very far away compared to the one over head in El Cajon. It was only visible to the eye for apx 3 minutes, and was not as red as the one described earlier. It had the same characteristics as the other described object, etc.

I am a professional photographer and graphic artist, and have a good grasp of the visual world around me. I am sure there will be more reports concerning this sighting by others. I believe that this is the 3rd year in a row, that this event has happened over El Cajon.

The images I took were done in order, starting with the bottom one first. You can see that the object is revolving from a horizontal position to an almost 90 degree turn. Unfortunately 90% of my images got corrupted in the camera at the time of filming this. My camera was malfunctioning out of the blue, I have heard such things have happened to other people filming UFO's.

A bright red light appeared, as we looked west around the 11 o'clock position at a high altitude. The object remained motionless and changed from a small red dot to a very bright red light changing at different intervals. After approx 15 minutes the object seem to move westward very slowly until it just disappeared. The object was viewed without any magnifying devices, but seem to be round in shape and just the color red was seen.

12 noon clear sky wagon wheel obect flying east then banked to the north emitting a blue light

The day was a perfectly clear blue sky, at approx 12 noon. I was with my 13 year old son and his friend, when I happen to look towords the north and noticed a obect traveling east.At first I thought it was some kind of balloon because it was SILENT. The object was the size of a small aircraft approx. 2000-4000'high.It was round with struts (looked like a wagon wheel) with a odd color blue light in the center. The object then banked to the north gained altiude untill we could no longer see it. It did fly under its own power except for the abscent of sound.

We saw the bright lights and others over the the hills near the mountains

I went outside to bring my dogs in and saw a huge bright light near the mountain area east of my location. I could see this clearly from my yard. There was one above the trees and one in the middle, one in the sky over the big one that was low. The one overhead blinked red lights. The others were dim, but would blink whitish, green, lights. There were also two in the sky looking west from my back yard. They are bright with blue, red, and green lights mixed with white. They hovered there for about 1 hour and then dissappeared. There were planes flying around them for a while, I just wondered if maybe they saw them? Or why if they couldn't. My sons friend was sleeping over and I woke him and my son to see the object that was bright over the hills. I wish I could get an explanation of what they are.

Starting on July 19 we saw red blinking lights and a really bright one which was low to the earths surface, by rhe mountains east of us. The one object has red blinking lights over the bright white one,and in the center of them is one that appears more rounded and blinks on and off with some red and green and white lights. The others appear the same but one is west and the other N.east front of the bright one. Today is Jully 26th and they are back again! We saw them last night also hovering and seemed as if they were peering at the electrical towers on the mountains.

I saw some bright lights shining through my window. I observed outside and saw three objects with blinking lights

On the morning of July 19th, at approx. 3:30am I went to let my dog out. I noticed a bright light shining through my kitchen window. I looked at the light while I was out side, and then noticed one higher above the one lowest to the ground. The higher one had red lights blinking. As I looked past a tree in the neighbors yard I could see one that appeared to be a rounder one with blinking blue and green lights, and sometimes white. Sometimes the lights got dimmer. They were in kind of a V formation. I watched them until about 4:30am and then I went to bed. I also saw them the next three nights. They do the same routine. Maybe just a little different. There are electrical towers on a mountain where I think they hover over. I do not own a cam corder or I would have taken pictures of them. I will watch again tonight.

Starting July19,2004 until now July22 I have seen some objects flying near my home

At 3:39am while letting my dog out to the front yard, I noticed a bright white light shining over houses near the mountain near my church. There are electrical towers there. Above the one bright white looking light is something that looks round, but has red lights. Just beyond my yard is a tree and I could see another one there, and had lights that blink green and sometimes a blue and white. It seemed like the one that was red follows the one closer to the earth. Kind of like a V formation. I have observed this same sighting for four days in a row. I wish I owned a video cam corder, but I don't have one!At 4:49 I watched the one near the earth fly into space and dissappear within seconds. I tried to look at the shape of the bright white light near earth but it sometimes looks diamond shaped and then sometimes it looked more triangular. It was hard to tell, but the others appear to be rounded.

I was among a number of people that witnessed two red lights blinking off and on in the eastern sky near San Diego. They would move apart and then get close to each other, never merging into one. They also moved towards our direction as if it was one craft. They were probably 2500 to 3000 ft. high directly over us. There were probably more than a thousand people on the side of this hill to view the 4th of July fireworks in the valley below. This is the third time I have seen these lights in the past three years. The other times were ironically both on New Years Eve. These lights seem to hover and blink off and on and eventually blink out and disappear. If anyone has info on this, please send it in. This was not an aircraft, helicopter or private plane. It is strange.

July 4th fireworks display takes a back seat to piercing red lights in the San Diego sky...

On July 4th just after 9:00 PM my family and I returned to our home from an outing. Since my brother and law and I had our children with us, we decided to stay outside to view a local fireworks display. There were several neighbors doing the same in the vicinity. After a few minutes of viewing I noticed one group of neighbors standing 10 feet away looking up in the opposite direction of the fireworks display. I followed their line of sight and noticed two red points of light flickering in the sky. What struck me at that moment is that these lights appeared to possess the same characteristics as the lights that I had seen on two previous occasions (single point, bright red, same intensity). Both lights were located in roughly the same area as the single red light my family and I witnessed just after 12:00 AM New Years 2004 (I called several family members away from our party to witness that event) and a single red light I witnessed some time in the early morning hours of October 2003. During the New Years sighting I watched a single red light slowly move from south to north and to nearly overhead where it then stopped and stayed stationary for 15-20 minutes. The light subsequently disappeared. During the October event I drove 3 miles west in an attempt to align myself directly under the light. I did this in an effort to try to ascertain what exactly it was. I eventually positioned myself to what I perceived as being directly under it, but still could not make any real determination as to the type of aircraft I was observing. It too then disappeared abruptly within 20-30 minutes of initial sighting. July 4th's lights appeared stationary at about 75 degrees above the horizon west of our position. For the majority of the sighting there were two distinct lights approximately one fists distance from one another. They appeared to remain equal distanced and didn't produce any sound. Unlike the previous sightings these flickered. There were private aircraft in the area and on one occasion a small aircraft passed slightly east and under the lights as it continued on its the downwind leg for Gillespie (KSEE, small regional airport in the vicinity 2 miles north). I would estimate the small aircraft was flying at 1000-1500 AGL. These lights seemed much higher and both the small aircraft and unidentified lights were unaffected by one another’s presence. Some minutes later the north side light dimmed, flickered on and off in random pulses, almost like it was struggling to stay lit, then disappeared entirely. The south side light continued to flicker for an additional 5 minutes and then it too disappeared. The final light disappearance strangely coincided with the conclusion of the fireworks display.

It seems too much of a coincidence that two of my observations occurred on holidays and during what most would consider the peak period of the holiday. I live in a densely populated, brightly lit suburb in east San Diego. I have 2 small regional airports within 15 miles, and MCAS Miramar is 10 miles northwest. I have been on the MCAS Miramar air base several times and the installation has never struck me as a special projects installation. It seems to me that any sort new platform testing from Miramar would be unlikely considering the base's proximity to greater San Diego. Perhaps some type of new surveillance device related to homeland security? The lights had to be noticed by many this time.

Possible balloons and highway flares??

We also witnessed the two flickering red lights hanging pretty much stationary above El Cajon, Ca. on the evening of the 4th Of July. I somewhat excitedly called my relatives out to look at them, and my brother said it appeared to him like it could possibly be two ordinary highway flares dangling on strings from a couple of small helium balloons. I watched them with binoculars, and the movement of the lights and the flickering and fading out one by one over the next 45 mins. or so do seem to support this theory. I think it's possible that someone in the San Diego area might be conducting this hoax repetively on major holidays ( see previous reports of New Year's Eve sightings)

4th of July, 2004, 2 giant red lite oval/circle shaped objects over El Cajon, CA, for apx. 1 hour.

On July 4th, 2004, my girlfriend and I took our dog out for a wake at apx. 8:15 pm, to witness the fireworks that would be going off at apx. 9pm. We did not know where any of the fireworks would actually be, but we just set out for a stroll and catch a glimpse of any festivities around our neighborhood. At apx. 8:30 pm, my girlfriend noticed in the Northeastern sky, 2 giant red oval/circle lights in the sky. It was apx. 2 miles from our location, and maybe a mile or more up altitude wise. Considering the distance and altitude, I guessed that they were apx size wise to be maybe a few hundred yards long and maybe 250 yards wide, they probally were a lot bigger. To describe them I will say they seemed to be fuzzy or had an aura, no solid edges, and it seemed they might have been somewhat flat, definetely red. They appeared to be somewhat oval/circle like. There were no blinking lights noticable on either objects. They moved very slowly, and traveled side by side, but were independent of each other. One would move a little away from the other, but not far, then seem to come closer back to what would be a formation or safe distance from the other object. The speed as said, was very slow. As they moved towards the south, we would notice on ocassion they would wobble or vibrate, then go back to there normal slow direction heading south. Of course there were many other people out in front of their homes to witness the fireworks set for 9pm. I noticed apx. 10 or more people outside close by to us. I yelled over to the people close by us, and asked "do you see those lights"?, and they replied that the lights had been up there before we both had arrived, maybe 15 minutes or a half hour (I'm not 100% sure). Of course I did not have my digital camera to record the incident, and asked if any of the neighbors had something to get images of the objects. I asked if someone could call the TV stations or police, etc, but only got the silent treatment. We stayed in our position for apx 30 minutes until they were now overhead us. So that means these objects took almost a half hour to go apx 2 to 3 miles from the original position till they were directly overhead. They exhibited the same manuevers, moving away from each other, but never very far, then to come closier to each other. It looked like when they were overhead us, that at one time they looked like they were going to merge together, but did not. They did vibrate or wobble at intervals, maybe every 5 or 10 minutes, then to return to there slow smooth approach to the south. I could not stand still any longer and we returned home, so I could call the police. Both lights were still up in the sky when we did enter our home. I spoke to an police officier, and he said I was not the only one to call about the lights. That done, I went back outside to see if they were still there. I was planning on bringing my camera to photo, but was not sure if they were still there (I was in a hurry, and also figured they were moving so slow, I would have plenty of time to photo them). One was gone, and directly over our home was the last remaining light/object. And of course, it was going straight up at a much faster speed that they had ever exhibited prior. It continued to go straight up and then out of eyesight range, and was gone for good. I was surprised to not hear of any news or information concerning this sighting on any local news or television stations, etc. This sighting has bothered me since that time, and I just now (1/15/05) deceided to see if any one else has seen this same event. So I typed in UFO Red Lights over El Cajon CA, on July 4th 2004, in the search engine "Ask Jeeves", and came to this website. And so I find now (6 months later) that there were indeed other wittnesses to this event. I to, like others that have voiced their opinions, think that on New Years Eve, and 4th of July celebrations, is the perfect time to have a cover story for objects or UFO's to occur. Most people would say that it was only fireworks, etc. But it is quite obvious that no know aircraft exhibits such manuevers, shapes or discription.

WE thought it might be a blimp since the lights didn't move.

Two red lights high in the sky that appeared to be part of one object. The object could not be seen because of darkness. The lights remained in the same location for approx. 10 min then they began to move very slowly then quickly they went higher in the sky until the 2 lights became one.

UFO heard above El Cajon neigborhood on 12/29/03 at 00:30 in the morning

Last night at 00:30 my husband and I had just laid down to go to sleep. After laying there for about three minutes, I heard this sound, some type of aircraft zoom in over my neighborhood, hover overhead, then zoom away. This was not a plane or a helicopter, I could distinctly tell the difference, and I knew that something else was outside floating above my neigborhood. It sounded as if it could have been a plane, but planes do not move like this. It did not last very long, but it was very loud. I thought I was the only one that heard it but after telling my husband about it this morning he said that he heard it to and he knew without a doubt that it had to be a UFO because of how it sounded. I did not get up to look outside because it honestly scares me. I know that there are other beings out there however after seeing the movie "SIGNS", I would rather know whether these beings were peaceful before I get up to look one face to face. Please feel free to contact me if you need more info. I know that this is not an actuall sighting per say, but I know what I heard, and it was very real.

dull black disc made circles in the sky.

I dont remember what day but this summer I was at a carpet job and i saw what i thought was a balloon. I watched it for a minute and decided it was not a balloon, it was dull black,looked like metal and It was shaped like a telescope lense. The object made slow tight circles and slowly drifted west. I watched it drift for about 30 min. I would say it was about 500/800 ft up maybe more I couldent tell how big it was but it drifted higher untill it was out of sight. The thing did act like a balloon but i am pretty sure it was something else.

The most critical thing is how fast and the angle it went at before disappearing.

Last night I was sitting in my backyard and looked almost striaght up at the stars for a few seconds. As I started to look down again I noticed 2 lights kind of low on the horizon barely moving west. My first thought was it was 2 helicopters following each other at a very slow speed. Since it took a minite or so to come to that conclusion I decided to play a joke on my wife and called her out to see. I just kept looking at them because something was just not right with my conclusion. Mainly because for as close as they appeared I couldn't hear anything. When my wife got outside and about half way to where I was I told her to stop turn around and look up. She started questioning them right away asking me what they were. Shortly after she got outside it appeared as the first one seemed to have sparks fall from it and seemed to have turned north as if the light came from the front because it became real hard to see so I focused on the second one which kept going west.Then the second one kind of stopped for a couple of seconds and also turnin the same direction the other one did. Since there wasn't anymore I really focused on this one as the light got further away. This time noticing the direction was north but it also was climbing in altitude kind of like when watching an airshow and watching the plane as it climbs to a point until it stalls, but this kept going. Then the light seemed to disappear and I remember saying it's gone right as I said that it faintly reappeared and (this is where I really started to question what we were seeing) We both saw it shot up and I mean up and in two kind of swooping motions (the dot of light became a trail slowed down and did it one more time) and it was gone nothing like we have ever seen before nothing. I am 31 y/o and I have alwayed watched our airforce jets as they fly around that are based in Miramar, seen all that latest tv shows regarding the usa's technology in jets, been to many of sky shows (blue angels) and never seen anything take-off like th! is did. The only thing I can think of is maybe there is a top secret aircraft that nobody knows about except for the select few. For some reason I just don't think that we have the technology, just by the way we send the shuttle or even satalights into orbit. They go up quickly about at the same angle these did, not even close to the same rate of speed.

at around 1:55 pm me ad my friend were standing at the front door of our other friends house when we notice a red light in the air which looked really close about the size of a baseball(light) and my friends came out and the object moved really slowly and when we all stared at the same time, it paused in mid-air the light was the size of a small lighter, the craft must've been about the size of a car, it had 3 spheres of light floating around it, the balls were red. it was about 10-15 minutes when the light dimmed low and then it shot 3 red spheres to the ground, there was red sparks when the spheres shot down. it then just floated away into the clouds. we live right of the highway 8 on mollison, which is south of the freeway and the craft was seen on lexington/mollison, want info on anything, it was trippy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

An unusual sight in the night sky of El Cajon

At approx. 9:55pm my daughter came into my upstairs apartment and told me I had better come see this light thing in the sky.I went out of my screen door and looked up.Coming out of the S.E. was an extremely large dark orange light moving very slowly toward me in the sky.This light was strang in the way that it was a very dark brownish orange yet the light was so strong that I could not distinguish a shape.It was also in the same visual perspective as the moon at the time.This object moved in a wobbley sort of fasion it almost looked unstable.I called my wife out to see this thing with me and my daughter.I was moving slowly and then stopped and hovered for about 20 seconds doing this awkward little circle motion and the proceded to move forward again in the same slow fasion as before.By this time we had called our next door neighbor out on to his patio to see it. It stopped again but this time,it dropped something out of the bottom of it.First out of the right side what appeared to be a white blinking object many time smaller and then about 5 seconds later a slightly larger one more towards the left side.It then proceeded to fade out slowly at first almost in some sort of sequence.Then as if someone was turning on a dimmer switch it faded back in slowly and then shut off completely.I could tell that it was quite high in the sky because there were planes flying below it during it's presentation(we have two airports in close proximity to El Cajon . By this time about fifteen min. had passed from the time my daughter first saw it.There were no blinking lights on it and there was no sound and I just remember the hair on my arms and neck standing straight up as well.

green light crashed into star

We were coming home from somewhere, my family and me, and on the way down our street we pulled over to say hello to our neighbors, who were sitting outside in chairs looking up at the sky. We asked them what they were looking at and they said "the green star up there." So we continued down the road until we reached our house. I got out of the car and watched it for a little while. The star moved slowly towards us at an extremely slow speed, almost unseeable. Then all of a sudden it shot back to a star at light speed. When it hit, the star lit up really bright for a split second, then returned to normal. No more than 10 minutes later we were over across the street in our other neighbor's driveway, talking to him. I looked up and saw a flock of black birds flying directly overhead. They made no sound, and it was pitch black out and so were the birds. It was a miracle that I saw them. It took me a long time to get everyone else to see them by pointing them out. What i've found is that ufo sightings are somewhat strangely linked with black birds somehow, I haven't figured it out yet, but I've heard other people's sightings, and some of them saw black birds too. I hope that was usefull to someone out there, and if not, oh well, it still has my attention and I know I saw what I saw, and I know that what I saw was real.

On Saturday we were outside watching a world war II airshow at Gillespie field from our back yard when we noticed two bright star like lights in the south eastern sky. We watched them change formation, come together, spread apart and hover for about 45 minutes. Then, from the south 18 more dimmer lights in a long formation slowly moved in a northern direction, eventually coming together with the two brighter lights in a central cluster. They stayed in that cluster for about 15 minutes, occasionally forming 3 pointed triangles and flashing green and red alternating colors as they moved. As the sun dipped in the western sky they became gradually dimmer until we could no longer see them.

Outside smoking with my girlfriends sister and brother in law when a yellow/orange light was noticed moving north bound across san diego, it then change directions, went sount west, then north again, changed direction between NNE and NNW and faded on and out of clouds til it could no longer be seen. Was outside watering palm tree, my brother and friend had just left, I looked up for a second to the southeast and saw what I thought was a gold balloon or spheer decending toward my location. The area were I live is in the foothills area so there several small hills a a two thousand foot high mountain nearby with radio and tv towerslocated on top. Anyway this object which I had postulated as an errand weather ballooon had decended quite gently toward a cell tower which was about half mile away, I would guess it was about 4000 feet in the airnot so sure about size, but would guess about 50 feet in diameter. Was now able to get a good look at it was gold in color with a smoke appearance to the surface. The surface had small circular endentions much like a golf ball, the afternoon sun also seem to create shadows in the indentions. Was considering calling local airpot tower to let them know a balloon was in flight path of small aircraft, also had a concern for larger craft as the area is in partial pattern area for large craft. as I fruther watched the craft a smaller red spheer came out of it , I suppose from the back of it out of my view anyway it circled the larger spheer in counter clockwise pattern, about five time, increasing speed with each revolution, then left in a easterly direction at the speed of a jet aircraft. At this point I asked some of the kids in the circulr area in front of our house to look at this object with me and tell me what they saw. At that moment a white spheer came out of the object and circled around the bigger balloon-spheer , in a clockwise direction, and left in westerly direction had to be moving as fast a a F14. At this point a ran inside grabed a pair of weak binocs, came back outside just in time to see 16 small spheers emerge out and circle and leave in a easterly direction. They were dark blue or black. Upon this occurance the kids in front of our house went wow. I inspected the craft with binoculars, no protrusions or anything. Again a short time past then 16 more spheers, they left in westerly direction. following the white sphere, The Larger spheer then slowly began to gain altitude, and left in the direction from which it came

SPHERICAL BRIGHT OBJECT IN SOUTHEASTERN SKY OF SAN DIEGO COUNTY EARLY JUNE 6,2000!

While heading east on I-8 as a front passenger in a car,I noticed an object in the southeastern sky about 45 degrees off the horizon. It looked like Venus does when it is at its VERY brightest in the western skies---same size and brightness. Perhaps a bit bigger and brighter,in fact. But it seemed odd to me to expect to see another object such as that or Jupiter,etc,there at that time. It did not move. It just "hung" in the sky. Then,suddenly,it started scintillating more and then it began to dim until it "dimmed out" so to speak. As if it had gone into a fog bank. But it was crystal clear out. All other stars were visible even though much further and smaller,of course. There was no mist nor a single cloud in the entire sky. No objects such as towers or mountains in the way. I've lived in the area for over 50 years(all my life)and am quite familiar with the night sky and terrain at all hours of the day and am a frequent traveller at that late/early hour on that highway. There were no aircraft in the air and this object never displayed blinking lights nor red or green running lights at any time. My son,the driover,did not see it in time because he was leaned back in his seat watching only the road while I (as I often do) was leaned forward and purposely observing the awesome night sky. He noticed how intent I was looking at something,so he asked me what was up and by that time the object had dimmed out totally. We both watched the whole sky intently and then were home about 10 minutes later and watched it further. Nothing out of the ordinary. Best---((deleted)) (do not use my name please).

Speed, 250 mph. Height, 1000-1500ft. Course, SSW; from North of El Capi tan Mtn. Visuals, extremely bright lights (2). Poss side/rear light, no color. Poss no pulse pattern on side/rear light ie erratic. No other lights.Unable to see craft. Course not regular flight lane. Sound...low quiet vacuum cleaner. Lights, approx. 6ft apart..like giant headlights. This could have been a commuter jet, but was VERY QUIET! No other lights visable. Lights cast a large beacon ahead of it. Observed object, nothing around it. Pulsing red light, bright-dim-bright-dim. Moved slowly toward us. Through binoculars, could see marquise-shaped lights, largest in center, and tapering to smaller in size towards edges. As approached, went up in altitude. Directly overhead, shot up quickly to a pin-prick size, then disappeared completely.

At 5:45 A.M. Pacific time, I looked out my kitchen window and saw a bright, intensely red light. The sky was clear, no clouds. We had just switched to Daylight Savings Time last Saturday. The red light pulsed bright-dim approximately every second. I looked at it for approximately thirty seconds, noting that it was not moving. I went upstairs to get our binoculars. I raised the blinds in the bedroom, waking up my wife. I told her, "Come here, there's something in the sky." She observed the same red light. We both determined it was not an airplane. In fact, we are near the approach flight path for Lindbergh Field in San Diego, and during the event, we saw the lights of a jet on final approcah, and the plane's lights were below the height of the red object. We also determined it could not be a helicopter. I would also like to note that it was extremely early in the morning and there was no traffic noise, and we heard absolutely nothing from this object. If it had been a helicopter, we would have heard the blades. My wife went downstairs to get our 35 millimeter camera (autofocus-type) to take a picture of the object. I retreived the binoculars and went downstairs also. My wife took two pictures of the object, hopefully one at its bright pulse and one at its dim pulse. To my observation, it moved slowly from the southwest toward the northeast, but not in a straight line. It moved in what I would call a Lazy S configuration. During all of this time, the pulsing of the lights did not change. When it got directly over my head, it stopped and it seemed like it disappeared. I looked for it through the binoculars again, and I found it, but it seemed much smaller and dimmer than when we first observed it, and then it completely disappeared. It seemed to me as if it went straight up very quickly. My wife did not see this movement because she had gone inside to try and find someone to call. My wife observed the object through the binoculars, and she reported that it appeared to her that the object had seven marquise-shaped lights that were glowing brighter than the surrounding part of the "structure". The largest one in the middle seemed to her to be the one that was pulsing. Each of the marquise-shaped sections were yellowish at the centers, graduating out to orange, and then red, with the spaces in between red also. I am 44 years old, retired USN Chief. I work as a Draftsman/Design Engineer for a metals manufacturer. I have never seen an object like this before. My wife is 43 years old, works as a freelance court reporter. She's never seen anything like this before. We have been married ten years this September and have two cats. I have three children from a previous marriage and two grandchildren. We've lived in this home since 1989. One other thing we would like to report is that we are close to a mountain in Spring Valley, CA called San Miguel. Atop this mountain are a multitude of communications installations for probably every radio and TV station in our county, as well as Tijuana, Mexico. We don't know if that has any bearing, but we did want to mention this. When we get the film developed, we will send the two pictures via regular mail.

Those sightings of orange /red lights in the sky have been happening for years now, just much more frequent lately.

I have been noticing many sightings of orange/red/amber color UFO reports lately. I've been telling folks for years of my sighting, they came from the east and stopped about 20-30 feet from us , they were the size of a car,silent blinked lights at us ,very bright red many times taking turns with each other then one would shoot straight up hundreds of feet in a blink of the eye then return back and the other copy this motion also . They were playing with us I felt, then they slowly moved west at the end of our street under a lamp post they merged into one and became a large circle of colored lights then went into itself, gone in an instant just gone Maybe a minute later 2 military jets flew over our house. I waited to hear if anyone saw them on the news. no reports . could not see anything , just the light no body a very slight electric feel. I made a report to the UFO reporting in San Diego

My husband and I were at home just bringing in the new year of 1981 watching the the ball drop in New York city having not even a glass of wine to celebratethe event. To my surprize my cousin Sheree her two childern and her friend Lisa and her daughter knocked on my door.

They were hysterical and said they saw a ufo, I in turn summed it up to they must have had too much to drink. They insisted that I go outside and that maybe it was still there. To my amazement it was there. From here I will discribe what I saw: It was a large clear sphere about fifteen feet in diameter and about four stories high. I remember the childern were crying with fear but all I could do was stand there with my mouth wide open starring at it. It must have remained ther for at least 20 minutes, I could see right through it and the stars behind it. It did have a thin cloud like substance on the bottom. The object made no sound and when if finnally took off it still made no sound but move extremly fast upward and over, faster and further than anything I've ever seen. I immediately went in the apartment and called called the police to report and ask if any one else had seen anything like I discribe. He said no and that was that. The next day I read that somewhere in the south a carousel shaped object was seen. Last but not least the strange thing about this whole story is my cousin and I never spoke of the incident for eight years and yet we spoke almost on a weekly basis. Eight years later when I did speak to her about it she said it was the first for her too. She also mentioned that the kids remember the clouds on the bottom of it where she had not but I had. If it were not for that experience I am sure I would not believe in ufos to this day.

A creature crossed my path and ordered me not to hurt it, as I was driving at the time.

Where: El Cajon, California on the road to Dehesa above the golf course at the crest of the hill traveling east from El Cajon past the golf course and on to the Dehesa area where our mobile home was hooked up.

Weather: Warm, clear and still light evening with good visibility.

Traffic: None in either direction at the time.

Personal Physical/Mental condition: I was returning home after a challenging and rewarding match of class B handball at the La Mesa YMCA. I was an accomplished athlete at the time and was driving home to my family showered, refreshed, comfortable, well rested, in excellent condition and sober.

Event: As I was negotiating the paved roadway, following the lazy turn to the left at the top of the hill, a creature strode up from the steep hillside on my right and without breaking stride, looked directly at me and directed me to, "DON’T HURT I." ((witness recognizes grammatical error in telepathic message. PD)) The three words were clear and precise but without sound. The powerful engine sounds did nothing to dampen the order. My mind heard the words, not my ears.

I backed off the accelerator and slowed slightly while the creature completed its brisk upright walk across the road from right to left (south to north) and up the cut bank on my left.

At no time did the creature break stride or exhibit any difficulty managing the steep terrain, especially going up the man-made and much steeper cut. It was as it stepped onto the pavement that it regarded my presence and sent its order not to hurt it.

Had I so desired, I could have run it down. I estimate my speed before slowing to be around 45 MPH but was not conscious of my speed at the time, nor did I look at the speedometer either during or after the event. Higher speeds are dangerous at that spot in the road.

What struck me was the creature appeared to me a bright blue—sky blue and intense. It was clothed in a neat double-breasted tight fitting or tailored suit with matching pants and a flat-brimmed hat. Exposed skin was exactly the same color as the clothing (sky blue). I could see no wrinkles or folds as the creature progressed across my path.

The creature had almond-shaped eyes and a tiny mouth but otherwise was basically human size and human shaped.

During my next trip through that stretch of road, two days later, I parked and examined the spot where the creature had emerged. The terrain is steep with native trees and Chaparral, which makes a difficult hike for anyone, yet this creature had no difficulty climbing it. I also tried to climb up the 5-6 foot cut bank but could not scramble up without clawing and grabbing handholds and footholds, yet the creature easily strode up the angled hillside upright without straining.

I felt no fear at the time and I wish I had taken the time to try to communicate with it but driving at that location takes concentration.
