I saw 22 or more plane-like lights flying north-east in a straight line, my dogs were acting strange during it.

I was outside letting my dogs out at 8:00 at night (at home) when I saw how clear the sky was. I have an addiction to watching stars on clear nights, waiting for a meteor. I was looking around at all the stars and constellations when I turned somewhat northwards. When I saw the first two, I simply thought they were lanterns.

But then I saw the next four, and I knew it could not have been lanterns because they were in a straight line. These lights were not equally spaced, so I do not believe that they were satellites.

My dogs were acting quite odd as well. They were facing in the direction the lights were coming from, the older one was whimpering, and the younger one was growling. I counted about 19 of the lights before my older dog suddenly turned around and started barking at the cars across the street. I looked and got as close as I dared, but I didn't see anything. No movement and no sounds came from the direction of the cars. By that time, I was getting uneasy. All together I counted 23 lights, but they were still coming. I got my dogs in the house but I couldn't shake my uneasiness.

I had just left the Colfax exit headed west, when a flash of light with a bright white epicenter, boomed in the distance to the South East.

I pulled over on I-35 and looked over my shoulder and scene two more flashes and a span of two minutes, both flashes lasted a couple seconds and let up the entire Southern Horizon.

Bright flashing light too fast to be anything but a ufo following me in my truck

I came over a rolling hill with a few trees directly ahead of me and I saw a bright flashing light in the shape of a circle just beyond the trees and as the road curved a noticed that the bright flashing light did not go as the road did it stayed in the pretty much the same spot through my windshield even though I had changed direction maybe 30 degrees. That's when I knew that it was moving at the same speed as my truck. And then it was on the other side of my truck almost as if it was pinned on me, for the next few minutes it traveled through rolling hills switching sides being in the front and then gone and then I'm the rear. It was a bright white light that flashed in roughly 1-2 seconds segments.

And it appeared to be only one, but I took a video through my side mirror and you can see the flashes moving in a direction and then the next flash it was well behind that, faster than any man made machine could possibly have done. This occurrence also happened after I was at a rest stop and felt my uhaul truck swaying and I look at the long grass and trees and there was minimal wind it would take gusts to rock it the way it was rocking while the truck was not turned on. I didn't think anything of it, but I felt that there was someone in the back and went an opened the back gate and even asked whoever was in there to please get out that it was not safe to ride with all the furniture. Saw and heard nothing.

Got back into the cab and after a short time the rocking proceeded. I banged on the back of the truck and said at least ride up here with me I have potato chips I can share, and to keep me company, as I was just joking not thinking anyone was in there but to take my mind off of it cuz it was making me paranoid. Well, after the strange encounter with the flashing light that followed me for a good 5-10 miles it slowly disappeared into the distance very high in the air. I got out to check the back again and the lights on the outside ! of the truck were flickering, just enough for me to notice as ! the were not flickering before the flashing unknown object laid before me.

I fell asleep in the truck an hour down the road and proceeded to call it hallucinations for the exhaustion from moving all day and driving all night.

That evening after work, I was telling someone about my hallucinations and how real it seemed and how paranoia can really mess with someone's head, when I remembered I took 2 short videos of the occurrence in a quick manner and had not looked at them yet. Expecting not to see anything, it terrified me to see the light as I had seen it the night before on that very dark country highway leading into Colfax, Washington, and I even called my wife during the whole thing to tell her how scared I was and asking why is this light following me. She even thought I was just tripping.

Well after I saw the videos I have never been more scared to be outside after dark, it really puzzled me on how real this was and how much it seemed to be a fantasy in a made up story book. It was a moment I will not forget soon, and I went from riding a fence in existence of aliens, to full blown belief of them, and I was better off not knowing or seeing the event from that night.

Small craft drops out of larger a craft over Rollins Lake

At appox 0030hrs., 15 July, myself and a friend were in a 22 ft boat on Rollins Lake, located 5 miles from Colfax, CA. At that time we were heading sw at approx. 5 kts in the center of the main body of the lake, when we observed a very bright light that we assumed was a large low flying aircraft. However what caught our interest was that the "aircraft's" lights were so bright that they made its nav lights impossible to see.

After about 2 min into the event, we saw a small and far less bright dot of light that seemed to just drop out of the larger aircraft. The smaller light stayed with the other aircraft for a few seconds and the desended in altitude and then flew west at a moderate speed and it also displayed a flashing light.

The larger aircraft continued on a sw heading flying directly over us. Not until the aircraft had past us did we see any navigation lights.

Also, the larger aircraft while at an altitude of maybe 5,000 to 7,00 feet made almost no noise. This is the second such event I've seen in a month in this area.

Small circular glowing orange orb flying just above the tree line passes perpendicular above vehicle on I-40 in Guilford County.

On the evening of July 4th, not long after sunset, my girlfriend and I were driving West on Business 40 (we had just passed Interstate 40/Business 40 split) and noticed a bright, glowing orange orb passing in front of us above the tree line at approximately 50-75 ft above the ground, moving in a direction from our left or out of the south, towards our right, or to the north. We both noticed it immediately because both of our eyes were transfixed at the sky because we had just witnessed a lot of fireworks just above the tree tops as we drove out of Greensboro heading towards Winston-Salem, with it being Independence Day.

My first thought was that we were viewing a falling ember from an exploded firework cascading down from the sky, however it was quickly evident that this wasn't true because the small craft was clearly flying in a trajectory perpendicular to our vehicle not losing altitude. We were both very intrigued and I quickly looked in my rearview to che! ck for other cars, and slowed down to get a better look. The orange light kind of resembled a flame almost like an oil lamp, with a distinct glowing orb surrounding it. The only thing that I could reasonably think that this small craft could be was a drone, possibly attempting to get views of the evening fireworks, however several factors lead me away from this assumption, because there were no houses or business around the area. It was a darkened and desolate portion of the highway, with trees on both sides and neither myself nor my girlfriend saw any wings or any identifying signs that would lead us to believe it was a manmade drone or craft. Drones typically need the operator to be fairly close, and with no homes or side streets anywhere near the area a drone seems unlikely, especially when it was fully dark and a drone would seemingly have no photographic value in darkness. Both me and my girlfriend were very interested in what we had saw and neither of us could explain! it. There is no possible way it was a firework or ember acting weird or caught in the wind, it was definitely flying. I wish I would have had more time to view the craft and contemplated pulling to the side of the roadway, but more cars were coming up behind us and the vehicle was close to crossing the tree line on the northern side of the road. Neither of us can identify what we saw, albeit briefly.

Triangle UFO seen South of Colfax, WA on HWY 195

I am a business man, and I was driving South on US HWY 195 from Spokane to Pullman, WA., to spend the night and attend a meeting.

I was just South of Colfax, WA, when I saw an aircraft with white lights head South toward Dayton, WA, area. It appeared to be traveling at quite a fast speed, I would estimate 300 to 400 MPH. Then it abruptly rose and headed due north parallel to HWY 195. It was traveling quite fast then slowed and seemed to hover somewhat about 1/2 mile off Hwy. I was very curious but some what scared to stop car and get a closer look.

I went fwd up HWY about 2 miles then U-turned to come back and get a better look. I saw light off in distance but it was heading North towards Spokane and now a good 10 Mi or so North. Therefore, I stopped pursuing it.

The craft was Triangle in shape and appeared to have a 90 degree angle on the sides. It looked like a triangle box. It looked black and had 3 white lights on the side with one red light.

It was about the size of a couple 35 to 40 Ft Motor Home on one side of the triangle. It appeared to make no significant sound.

Observed a light traveling in a straight line north which looked like aircraft landing light. When a commercial aircraft traveling west approached the light, the light abruptly changed direction and accelerated in an upward arc and disappeared within 1-2 seconds.

Lighted object on the ground in an empty snow covered field

I was just reading Filers Files #31 2010 and came across a report of what my wife and I saw a couple of years ago while driving from Fargo ND to Wahpeton ND on I29. The craft was on the ground @ 1/4 to 1/2 mile east of I29 putting on a light show! In any case, we have never told anyone about it, partly because we did not see it flying, but more so that we could not really describe the shape .... in this Filers files is a report fron Baton Rouge LA, and the decription is perfect! It was a saucer shape but made of rectangle shaped panels all around the sides flashing bright colors, as they described white, blue, yellow , red and green. While basically round, it had a 'jointed' look to it.

This was in the winter on a clear, moonlit night, and it had snowed recently, so the colors and craft were highly visible. In this area we have long tree rows which divide fields, and some of them are miles long. The object was sitting on the north side of one of those.

I have always had the feeling that it is odd that we did not stop, but it was almost like something was telling us to 'move along'.... very strange behavior for me. But we had a fairly long time to view it as the field it was in was in our direct view for several miles, with no obstructions to the view.

Anyway, just wanted to share that! My wife will be blown away when she reads the report in Filers Files!

Very large, and very intense light in clear dark night sky moving erratically and appeared to have landed.

Location: River Road and Hwy 170 4 miles west of Colfax, WI 54730 Weather Conditions: Clear with wisps of clouds to west, Temp. about 50 deg. F, no wind or breeze, and no moon; very dark.

My state of physiological/psychological condition: Tired from working but attentive nevertheless, no drugs or alcohol or medications.

What I saw: Very intense white light (sometimes red flickers) with a large orb ranging from about 2 – 7 millimeters across at line of site.

Commentary: At about 11:30 PM Tuesday night June 5, 2007 I went outside to start my vehicle. I use the vehicle headlights to illuminate the front door while locking the office on particular dark nights.

Looking immediately west I noticed what appeared to be the landing lights of an aircraft approaching the Eau Claire airport. Note, the office is right under a normal flight path for Northwest Airline flights coming from the Twin Cities and it is very common to see the landing lights used on their approaches to Eau Claire. In any case I attributed the exceptionally bright light to that of an aircraft on approach. The light was due west at an estimated 5,000 to 10,000 feet in altitude and coming slowly east on a trajectory that would have put it right over the office on River Road in less than a minute. I watched it for a few seconds and did not see anything out of the ordinary but I did notice there was no sound coming from the area of the light. With approaching aircraft it is normal to hear them a minute before one is able to make a visual. But it was late, I was tired, and I thought nothing more of it until I started my drive home it seemed to alter its course rapidly. Leaving east out of the driveway the object essentially stopped for a brief second or two and changed course to north-northwest course and began lowering in altitude. I turned north on a cut-off road to Highway 170 and watched as the craft moved slowly northwest and dropped in altitude on slightly as it was still much higher than the surrounding hills. I turned west on Hwy 170 and watched the craft moving in the direction towards the Wheeler radio tower. Total drive of about 2 miles and a time of about 4 minutes. As I turned into my house driveway I lost site of the object behind a row of tall pine trees and a hill. I entered my house, scrambled for a few minutes tying to find a pair of binoculars – to no avail. So I got my girlfriend to come with out in the field to see if we could locate the object. As we rounded the blocking hill we easily made visual contact with the craft again. At this time the light was farther away but still very bright and more red flickering taking place. The location appeared to be slightly sou! th of th e radio tower and about 1,000 to 2,000 feet higher than the top of the tower (the tower is about 1,000 ft.). I must qualify that the craft appeared to be near the tower, it could have been farther west of the tower but it more likely was nearby. As we watched for several minutes it appeared as if it was not moving. Then it decided to start slowly lowering sometimes straight down and sometimes with erratic zigzag patterns. Eventually it was at the same height reference of the Wheeler tower and stayed there for a few minutes. Then it started to lower again and this time it moved slightly more north in what appeared to be very close proximity to the tower itself. Eventually it dropped to a point where we could only see it at random through trees and hills. In the last few minutes of visual it seemed as though the object was on the ground moving around between trees. The motions as it was on, or near, the ground were slightly erratic and we had to shift positions frequently to keep it in sight. Finally about midnight or slightly after we lost all visual sight. Her and I watched the light for about 15 to 20 minutes. Short of the time I lost sight in my driveway and was looking for the binoculars I was able to watch the craft for about 25 to 30 minutes total time.

Shortly after midnight we took a drive to the radio tower location. There were several households with lights on in the immediate vicinity of the radio tower. We do not know if these people were awake, or saw something, or whatever but we did not stop to ask for fear of being ridiculed.

Neither my girlfriend nor myself can explain what it was but we do know for an absolute fact we watched something very strange.

I cannot remember asking my body to arise or do any of the motions that it was doing, but I remember being able to think, "Why am I not in control of what's going on?" My head turned to face the east and a fireball of white/light yellow light appeared. It RACED across the night sky, lighting my room and house as if it were broad daylight. I tried to shield my eyes but wasn't able to control my body. My head followed the object as it streaked from east to west in a downward trajectory. It left no tail. Within seconds, it seemed to not disappear, but explode.

Unvoluntarily, I was "escorted" back to my bed and pulled my covers over myself and rolled back into the fetal position that I normally sleep in. Immediately, I was able to control myself. I lept from bed and called my ex to see if he had a clue what I was talking about and I also confronted my family about the bright light. No one else had noticed a thing. The main things I remember was that the UFO was about the size of my fist, perhaps a quarter of a mile away from me, it was white/yellowish and at impact it emitted a brilliant white/blue light that sent a kind of "hot flash" through me as it shined. I remember not being able to move and being forced to watch this occurance. The night sky also seemed to not have any other stars that were visible either. The moon was also not visible, but when I was able to move, reappeared. The stars never reappeared. Colfax is a forest setting and the UFO grazed the treetops in its descent. I have never seen a light this bright before. To this day, if I close my eyes, I still see the outlin! e of the fireball and can relive every moment of the "encounter".

Sighting near Colfax, WA in the mid 80's and another in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness

I had left Washington State University in Pullman, WA enroute to my parents in Tacoma. I was heading northwest out of Colfax up to Sprague Lake where I was going to get on I-90. About midway there I looked up and seen a large airplane traving north. I could not tell if it was a passenger or cargo plane, but it was not a small plane(not a private prop or company yet). It was your typical large airplane, what else can I say. Anyway, there was also a large dark oval or egg shaped "spot" following on the airplanes left flank. It was a very dark object with no distinct characteristics other than it was oval like, very dark and seemed to have no real distinct boundary. Quite small compared to the airplane... not much longer that the width of the wing - I would guess about the size of my pickup truck. I would say it was within 20 feet or so of the fusilage (sp?) of the airplane - traveling parallel with it - following it. I was driving at the time and taking glances up from the road as often as I could and started to slow down. I am thinking, "this has got to be a figment of my imagination". I pulled over quickly and got out and looked up and the dark object was then directly in front of the plane - both traveling in the same direction and at the same speed. Both still heading north. I was thinking at the time that it had to be a visual anomalie and starting rubbing my eyes, etc and looking around in the skies for similar anomalies. I am out there in the sagebrush desert, no one else on the road, just starring up at this event in amazement. About then I noticed two military jets coming from the east (probably the airbase at Spokane). I am thinking "if they are coming on behalf of that airliner, man, this is something to be witnessing". Sure enough. The jets were moving fast and when they got within, say, a mile or so, the dark object just took off. Very, very, very fast is all I can say. There was a "wake" in the blue part of the sky - a dark path almost like a parting of the atmosphere directly in front of! the air liner. The UFO was there one minute and the next minute it was gone. Both military fighers came up and paralleled the airliner for a short distance and then left. And that was it. The airliner was a bit north of me by then. But I still remember that 'vapor trail' or dark path through the atmosphere. It slowly "filled in" or otherwise turned the normal sky blue.

Another time, I was up in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness near French Ridge. Miles from any highway. At least two mountains between me and I-90 and 9 miles from the dirt road that I drove up. I set up camp near a small creek before Turquoise Lake. Was woken up that night by a humming sound. Never seen anything, but the humming got louder the softer then louder... etc in a cycle that lasted all night. I am thinking, I am in the heart of a wilderness area at least 8 miles from the road. 4'000 feet of elevation gain by trail and backpack. What the hell could be 'humming up here'. Definitely a big machinery like sound. And very large though it seemed to be at least a quarter mile from me. I could not tell which direction only that it was somewhere in that basin. I was pretty worried camping out there (was backpacking solo on that trip). Got up in the morning and looked around. Not much for trees up there as I was just at or above timerline. I hiked and looked around the basin that morning but could find nothing. This also happened in the mid 80's.

Never mentioned either event before as I certainly have no respect for a government that hides such things. Don't want anything to do with them or talk with them. I figure it has been long enough now that they wouldn't bother. Too damn many other folks and sightings and such.
