Saw a stationary light that started to move then vanished

Was outside, saw a bright light in the northwest sky, that at first I thought was a planet, was not twinkling and was larger than any other object in the night sky except for the moon. It was stationary for about fifteen or twenty seconds, then slowly started moving, it looked like it was moving "away" from my location. It started getting "dimmer" as it was moving away, then it just vanished after a few seconds of moving.

Also similar to how light looks reflecting off of power lines at night. Confirmed no power lines in vicinity.

Flat, agile.

My friend and I went out to the pier to fish because it wouldn't be crowded with tourists. My friend and I are the only ones out on the pier.

We were fishing for about 15 minutes until my friend tells me to look at the top of the hill. We see a light and the light begins to flicker and it slowly goes vertical.

The object then goes from that side of the mountain all the way over to the opposite side of the island. There were multiple flat objects using green lights, red lights, and white lights. There was no possible way a drone or a plane could have been in and out of such altitudes with such speeds.

I took multiple videos and pictures we are not making this up please contact me as soon as possible so I can send out the pictures. We witnessed three flat incredibly versatile objects in the sky forming an acute triangle. Also, light patterns were very odd and uncommon. This was not a typical plane coming in.

I contacted my dad while I was watching this entire th! ing and he gave me the link to contact you. My friend and I are freaking out on the pier looking for ANYBODY, so we decided to leave the pier and head back to our condo and watch on the balcony. On the balcony we had the best view to witness these absurdly agile non-commercial crafts or saucers or whatever the proper term is. Our families go to Catalina Island every year and this island is a hotspot for extraterrestrial activity. It is commonly known to have naval activity and military activity behind Avalon (the main city). These crafts had the ability to go vertical within a second and reach speeds I have never seen. There was not just one of these we saw around 4-5 of these on our balcony. These crafts began circling each other in the air, and two crafts continuously came at each other from the opposite sides of the island and right when it looks like they are about to hit they stop immediately and begin flying synchronized. 4 Red lights in shape of a square float over avalon

We were sitting on the beach and we saw four red lights in the sky, in the shape of a square, fly over us very slowly, it was not a plane or helicopter because no likes were flashing.

Coincidentally I spotted two shooting stars go by about 20 minutes before this.

We eventually looked away and it disappeared. It wasn't traveling in a straight line, it was sort of wobbling a little bit as it if was being affected by wind.

Flying from the Atlantic Ocean toward 46th Street in Avalon, NJ, at 9:30pm moonless night. 2 large white lights in front of aircraft moving very slowly. No sound, black in color triangular in shape like an enormous stingray, silent, approx 800 ft in altitude. Tail had red green flashing light, moved south slowly and quietly.

upon sighting the duration of exposure was 10 minutes. Checked youtube online later and saw 2 videos that captured the same object in Arizona/Colorado.

Brief appearance of four lights in straight formation over the ocean.

9:30 PM, 7/30/13. We were sitting on a deck overlooking the ocean. Four bright, circular lights suddenly appeared over the ocean in the northeast corner of the sky. Objects were arranged in a straight line and appeared in the sky for about 20 seconds. They then blinked out. About 30 seconds later three of the lights re-appeared about 20 degrees further south. They were also in a straight line and lit the sky for about 20 seconds. Then they blinked out and did not reappear.

This event was witnessed by two other friends and me. During both appearances, there was no sound from the lighted objectss at all.

aprx 2 summera ago july: me n my g/f @the time i dont know were she is or how to get in contact with her on the beach of avalon nj about 1-2 am seen what seemed 2 b a huver craft comeing from shore 2 land craft was fair out the craft took aprx 7-10 min 2 get to shore when it did it went from shore heading in r direction it got closer to the piont were we got scared and felt the need to get out of its way i made my g-f run up the bumps in the sand to get to the street she froze until i screemed (move get up there now run) and she did we got 2 the street runing as fast as we could with me not leting go of her hand if not sqeezing it so hard it may have hurt her we stop to ketch are breath we look back and thats when we seen (it) i will not go into detail but @ that point i dont remeber n e thing but running so fast as i could squezzing her hand n not leting go of it it hurt me i couldnt breath right 4 2days im not a loser lookn for n e kind of hipe or n e thing of the sort if u seen n e thing that nite or summer please speekup im a lil 2 worried now please help me if you can

Round, tall craft over Catalina Island, two teardrop black crafts inter-weaving with another at low altitude

We were coming home after a fishing trip to Catalina Island on the backside of the island. It was getting dark, so we decided to head home. We were on a 22ft center console fishing boat. As we turned the eastside of the island and started heading toward the Angels gate in LA Harbor, I looked to the west and noticed a circular craft in the air at approx. 5000 ft to the north side of the island ( which is actually the front side). I have been very interested in the UFO Phenomenom for 15 yrs now and have spoken to people concerning the subject. However I never had a sighting. That is why when I looked up at the object in the sky I kinda questioned it immediately. It was circular, but taller. I had extremely bright lights around and on top of it. I watched the object while I held on to the boat( as we were coming in, approx. 14 knots.) It seemed to hover moving eastward, moving along the frontside of the island. I couldn't believe that what I saw in the air was not a craft that I could describe. My brother's a private pilot and we have no problem identifying airplanes and blimps (Goodyear Blimp right down the street). I am a space enthusiast as well so when this object appeared, I was downright purplexed. What the hell is that?, I said to my self. As I said in the duration, I watched the object for a few minutes and then said to the captain and my brother who were also on the boat, "hey look at that". Immediately the captain said "that looks like a UFO". I almost fell out because he shared the same interpretation as I did, without me bring up the UFO possibilty. He was driving the boat and it was getting dark so his immediate focus was keeping the boat safe, nevertheless, I kept watching the craft. Before I knew it, the craft shot straight up into the sky extremely FAST and then disappered. I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS BEFORE. If this was a real sighting , I saw what everyone is talking about. Please understand this is not a hoax. I would never spend my time li! ke this over something that did not happen. I just saw a report of the Mexican 11 UFO's all over the news and it inspired me to report this.

I also have another incident to report, that I experienced traveling south on Pacific Coast Highway in the City of Torrace, CA. I was coming home from my business and was going home which is in Harbor City. This was approximately 6pm and was in late 2003, before the daylight savings time change. I was driving normally, traffic on PCH was normal and I had just passed Crenshaw BLVD. As I got to Pennsylvania Ave, I noticed three lights coming from the east going westbound, like they were on approach to Torrance Airport. As I mentioned, my twin brother is a private pilot and achieved his license at Torrance Airport, so I am very familiar with the traffic of planes coming in for landings. I could help but notice that the two lights on the outside were much brighter and the center light seemed very normal in it's brightness. I thought "wow, that guy is coming in very low". I followed the lights as they were coming toward me as I traveled east on PCH. Then the lights shifted like one wing was turning completely over to the otherside, vice versa. I thought the plane was trying to do an upside down manuver, therefore shifting ( I'm doing my best to describe) or doing a manuver that would have the lights flip over, like doing a barrel roll. Right then the I could see that there were now the two bright lights were in front of the normal light. They were only 400 ft above and as the lights came to the leftside of my truck I could see two TEARDROP Black shaped crafts, with one extremely bright light on the very front of the vehicle. I could not believe what I saw resembled the early versions of a UAV or a sleath teardrop craft, but it did make sense that these vehicles would be right there on PCH. These vehicles were now inter-weaving with one another and boom they took off almost instantly! Then came the private plane, probably a Cessna or Mooney. This ws so off the wall, I could not explain it. I told my family about the sighting but that was it. I know I never saw any stealth aircraft in the area, an! d have been next to one before. This was not an F-117, but a formation of two teardrop shaped craft. This was real for sure. Please let me know if there were any sightings of these crafts in my area so I can know whats going on.

lights on the finger tips with a luminous glow and rapid up down side to side multicolored UFO's

I can pick these craft disguised in the stars quiet often. I experienced them first on the same coast of NJ about 3 years ago. Mulicolored rapid flashing lights( Have Video). I pointed them out to a friend two nights ago and they were amazed. Early this morning 3 am we were hooking up on the beach and all of a sudden this bright looking star grew out into what looked like a hand very large lights on the finger tips with a luminous glow. It seemed very close to us. It lasted a few seconds. we ask each other did you see that? we saw an amazing show after that the multi colored ones seemed to be communicating with each other and the larger bright one they would flash different sequences. move rapidly up and down and/or side to side. One even took off across the sky looped around the disappeared. One may have even been near or in the water. It almost seemed like there may have been two different types of ufo's. It also seemed we were being watched.

Triangle shaped light formation seen over Catalina Island by many people.

I was at a summer camp on Catalina Island, CA at Toyon Bay near Avalon. I was walking away from the beach at night in a crowd of maybe 40 people. Above us we saw a triangle formation of lights, kind of like how geese fly in formation. There was a very bright white light in front with red lights trailing it. There were many witnesses, but i could not take a picture. The entire formation was several times larger than the moon (which was full or close to full) and it was moving very slowly across the sky. The lights did not flash. As the formation got about halfway across the sky, a very, very low, quiet engine sound became audible. It was like a very very far away jet, but the sound was flat. It really freaked me out. I thought it could be a stealth bomber or a high up formation of military jets, but the lights did not blink or flash and they stayed in perfect formation. I have no idea what it was. It was flying from the northwest, towards Avalon.

Very, very, big slow flying Triangle with flasing red lights covering the outside edge of each of the two wings that made up the Triang

I had submited this report on about 7-27-02 and must have made a mistake that prevented the posting of my report.

At the time that I reported seeing a slow flying Triangle(7-23) I did not check you're listings of other reports for 7-23-02 and in the days that followed I now count 12 reports as of today (8-4-02)) of people seeing the same flying object in the sky that night. It was about 10:30p.m when one of our kids in our group were out on our deck of our vacation condo in the back part of Avalon, on Catalina Island.

I was inside my bedroom when I hear one on the 3 girls on the deck yell, "look a UFO" as I walked out onto our deck I look to the south and see a very, very, large slow moving V and the outside of each of the two wings are flasing red lights, just to the inside of that edge of lights I see white lights all very close together and again flashing. It seemed to have afew circles of lights that were in the center that were rotating in white. We were on the side of very step set of hills that reachs 1600 to the south west of us, so inside of 30 sec. we lost sight of this flying Triangle with the hills blocking our view.

The next day I went to the loacl police station in Avalon and they had no reports of this object seen on 7-23-02 at about 10:30.

Being told that they had no reports the members of my running club had fun the next day on the becah and run making all the jokes about what I reported seeing. I,m thankful to one of our members who told me to go on-line and see what I could find.

With the reports for 7-23 staring London, England Occurred time:0015 to reports from Sequoia National Park, from the Tehachapi mts. to Valencia,CA. to the San Fernando Valley to West Hills, Reseda, Santa Monica, to Marina del Rey, into the flight take runway at LAX (for all who would say that it was "One of ours being tested") think that our government would get near LAX after all the problems that took place on 7-4-02 to two reports on Catalina Island seeing it slowing fly into open ocean for the next few thousand miles of open dark skys I cannot hlep put ponder this thought! What would it look like in the day light? It take my breath away thinking what we all saw that night must be parked some place in the daylight. What a thought for all of you who saw it, Thanks to all of you for you're reports, they helped me get through this.

I was on vacation on the Island of Catalina staying in the city of Avalon towards the back of the town in a condo unit that my family me have rented each year during the last month of July to take part in a 60 mile running event called the Tour 'D' Catalina for the past 9 years. Out unit is way in the back on the side of a big hill, it is much darker than most parts of town due to very little light..

On Tues. July 23rd. at just past 10:15p.m on are very big deck area the kids in out group were making their beding for the night when one of the girls yells, look a UFO, with her on the deck our two other 18yr. old girls, this girl is 14 yrs old., her father and me step outside and look to the what seems like the south, west, to see a flying "Triangle" with very bright red lights covering all parts of the outside of this flying V with white lights just to the inside of the red lights. The wing size was big, very big, Being a runner I think in terms of how far to go, This was how big, Maybe 300 yrd. to 1/4 mile each part of the two wings that made up the V or Triangle. In the center was a bright white circle. It made no sound, it looked to move very slow passing to the very dark side of the Island and into open ocean area for the next 2000 miles or more. I went to the local police dept. the next day but there was no reports of wha we saw.

One of the members of my group told a frined who told him that in Arizona in 1998, this same shape was seen in the skys.
