Something that looked and sounded like it was exploding in the sky stopped exploding and flew away.

I was walking my dog and heard what I thought were fireworks. I looked up to where the noise was coming from and saw something in the sky. It looked and sounded like it was exploding. Sort of like the crakeling sound fireworks make as well as flashes of white light..

I noticed another "craft" parallel to the first one. It looked like it was waiting for it.

The first one stopped "exploding" and I continued watching it, expecting it to fall from the sky, but it didn't.

It, along with the other one, began moving east in the sky still parallel to one another. The first ones lights were much dimmer than the second one.

The flew out of sight.

White light in the W/SW sky traveling north that shortly after created a bright white fan behind it that then turned blue/green.





November 7, 2015 At approximately 6:00 pm as I was getting out of my car I noticed a very bright light in the W/SW sky at about a 45 degree angle from the horizon. As the light moved across the sky left to right, all of a sudden, and very quickly, a large white bright tail in the shape of a fan formed. The fan shape was in a horizontal position and not vertical as one might see from a rocket. The fan dissipated rather quickly as the object continued across the sky in a northerly direction. As the fan dissipated, there was a distinct blue/green color that remained in the sky for quite a while as the object continued in the apparent northerly direction. Then as the object was almost directly west from my location it appeared to lose intensity as if it was going away from me. I rushed into the house and grabbed my binoculars to see if I could get a better view as it was growing dimmer. As I focused on the object, it appeared to be a circular shape with no real defining marks, and steel g! ray in color. The color may have been affected by the haze around the object and that it was starting to get dimmer. However, it did appear to be alternating in brightness intensity that was discernable through the binoculars. The light continued to dim, again as if it was moving away from my location, and within 20/30 seconds the circular shape was no longer visible. The barely visible light then had “light tails” above and below the object, not behind, until it was no longer visible. The entire “show” lasted until about 6:20, and there was only one object as far as I could determine. However, the blue/green color in the sky noted above lasted for another 10 minutes or so, and didn’t seem to move from the location where I first noticed it. Our house is in the flight path of planes landing at the Orange County Airport, and there were also several helicopters in the sky at the time. I’m sure some of them had to see this as well. The night sky was completely clear w! ithout any clouds.

I am a retired civil engineer without any background in UFOs. I do watch the sky for satellites, but only occasionally as there is so much residual light in So. Cal.

cluster of glowing ufos in formation over Fountain valley at 5:45 PM Jan 5 2013

I and my wife took pictures and video from our cell phones they appeared over the schools first credit union in fountain valley calif near brookhurst ave and ellis looks like they were coming from the direction of the ocean near huntington beach calif they were circular and looked almost like they were on fire but they were not they were glowing with a redish orange glow with a yellow center and floating upward, at first I wondered if we were witnessing a missle launch but their were no trails behind them and they were quite , moving on what appeared the same general direction. Their were many of them probably over sixty in all , they came up in waves of about twenty at a time they continued upward and then changed to complete red when they were high up and then they took off real fast upward and vanished I will send you what i was able to capture on my cell phones

Silent, green object sits under color-changing friend

The event began with a silent, green object flying over my father-in laws house in a straight line. It seemed to be made up of 10-11 smaller circular green lights, all of equal size and none blinking.

This object flew at a consistent speed and was too bright to be at a high altitude but was too quiet (silent) to be at a low altitude. This motivated me to follow the object across the sky, expecting it to turn toward one of the airports nearby. It didn't and instead decreased in speed, finally stopping directly "under" a distant, yellow-white star. At this point my father-in-law and wife started viewing the object, as I had been narrating the trajectory to them as kind of a satire on UFO's.

Then, the "star" above the object changed to red. Not light red but fully red. This was NOT a star at all. Soon thereafter a third object, much smaller or farther away, moved directly over the two objects, then frooze. Then it was gone. We got out binoclulars and were able to clearly see the multiple green lights on the original object. The second object also could be seen going from red to white aver minute or so.

As these objects slowly dipped below the horizon another set of 3 bright objects came into view and formed a triangle, then remained motionless, until also slipping out of view.

For all of us, it was our first UFO experience.

UFO gives light show in urban amerca, party on! not.

Our back yard faces John Wayne Airport and it is quiet common to see planes fly over. However this night it was over cast. I was letting the dog out, and saw a round red light come from out of the marine layer. I thought it was odd because it came downward and I wasn't hearing anything. I looked up to my sons room and heard him talking to his friend online, I lit a cigarette, and turned back towards the craft. I noticed it was coming very fast towrds me; which is odd, and theres no sound. As I took a puff off my smoke, the think flashed.

So out of curiosity I swung my cigarette back and forth and sure enough this craft flashed red and a dim white, then dropped like sparkler like sparks out of the bottom. I called to my son and yelled for him to get his camera, but he didn't hear me. I have bad legs, so I hobbled into the house to get my phone because it has a camera on it and it was totally gone. It looked like it was over the police station if I had to! judge its placement. But sure did make me scared, and it takes alot to shake me up.

On a overcast night off to the east where John Wayne airport from our back yard is; I saw a red light come from out of the clouds. I had thought I had seen little sparks of light every once in a while, but thought i was just tired. I didn't think about it at first; but as this red light was slowly proceeding towards the West, in my direction very slowly, just below the clouds, I realized the light was not flashing like a normal plane, nor was it making any sound. I saw a segment on Destination Truth where they dared to flash a light at what they thought was a UFO and it responded back. So I was smoke a cig and thought I would try so I took 3 quick puffs then 3 slow puffs off my cig, and the light,responded. I was shocked, it was a UFO, so I called up to my son who was watching TV in his room with his window open, I said "Shane get over here" SEVERAL times to no avail, when I turned & looked at the object it was over in the direction of the police department which is maybe 1.5 miles north east of us, and saw the light make a couple flashes and then some sparkles came downward, the kind you see from a sparkler when a child just holds it. I wanted to get a picture; but have a disability and move very slowly so i SCREAMED "SHANE GET YOUR CAMERA, GO TO THE WINDOWN" but he didn't come so I went in the house to get my cell phone. When I came back it was gone. It was no where. Not in the front, or other obstructed view areas. I have in the past had sightings; but for some reason this one really shook me up. maybe it was caught on a traffic light or business security camera?

At least 3 orange points of light varying in brightness and movement at night lower than Mars

My son is a professional engineer who has his office in my house in Fountain Valley, CA. On Monday, March 12, 2012 he was diving east to my house for late night work on some of his project deadlines. He told me that he saw some very bright points of light low in the eastern sky at approximately 8 PM PST. Upon arrival we both went outside the house looked in the sky and located Mars and the planet Venus high in the Western sky but I did not see anything unusual.

On Wednesday, March 14, 2012, the same thing happened but this time we both went upstairs in my bedroom that has a large window facing directly east. This time I did observe at least 3 points of light at different and varying brightness from approximately 8PM to 8:30PM. My observation was as follows: (1)The objects were orange I and varied in brightness from brighter than Venus to the brightness of Mars. There was no change in color, but the objects could suddenly vanish and reappear in a different place and could vary in brightness. Most of the time they were about 15 – 20 degrees above the horizon (about one half of the angular height of Mars.) (2) Since I used 5x50mm binoculars I could observe only one object at a time. Because of trees and houses across the street there was limited areas that allowed for view much below 10 degrees above the horizon. I will report only the movement of one bright object because the others had similar motion.

(3) At times the object would stay totally still in one place for as long as 5 minutes and then would move. I could tell that because it was either close to a given branch of a tree or the roof of the house across the street. The movement was usually to the left or right and less often vertically (up or down). The speed varied in reference to fixed, nearby object. It would move (sometimes accelerated) then stop or even disappear. At times there was only one object visible at other times at least three. I repeat again, these were more or less points of light whose size could not be estimated and therefore the distance could be millions of miles from the earth. If that were the case then the speed at which they moved would be extremely fast.

In the early '60’s I was a navigator for USAF. In that period we depended on celestial navigation and I was intimately familiar with all of the bright stars (by name) and position of the planets at different seasons. Later I acquired advanced degree in physics and worked for USAF as a research scientist, engineer and on various code name space programs such as GPS. I can truly say that this observation was most interesting and strange. I cannot call these objects UFO’s because the objects could be well outside the earth atmosphere where we normally do not use the term "fly."

Two objects at high altitude merge into one then disapear completely.

Noticed two objects, high altitude, possibly over Mile Square Park, flying side by side, one lagging a bit. Objects traveled NNE direction. Then, the one lagging accelerated quickly into the other object at a higher speed, appearing to collide with the other object. It seemed to merge into one object for three seconds, then all disapeared completely. Approximate speed at that altitude: 200mph.

Sky was clear that morning. Visability over 10 miles. Possibly two fighter jets on patrol but there was no engine sound. And the objects should have remained in view across the sky. No cloud cover. Two balloons? Traveling too fast. And both should have remained at a constant speed. And the odds of two balloons popping at the same time becoming invisible are too great. Unknown shape because of the altitude. Contact me only if others saw the same object or unable to detect on radar tapes.

there was a round shaped object that glowed a dull red collor in the night sky; that moved very slowly

At approximately 10:10pm pacific standard time I was standing outside in the back yard of my house located in fountain valley, California.

I was looking up at the stars when I noticed a very dull appearing star; I thought it was strange I had never seen a star look like that .

My house is located between two airports, the Long Beach airport and John Wayne airport; I am very used to planes flying over.

There were three planes flying over the area at that time and the object which I still believed was a star did not move; it was only after the sky cleared it began to move across the sky when again planes were coming into the area it stopped and only after they passed did it continue to move.

I called my daughter from the house and she came out ;I pointed out the object and she clearly saw it also we watched as it passed directly overhead of us .

The object was extremely high in the sky way higher in altitude then any plane I have seen since living here.

We continued to watch as the object seemed to climb higher then disappear in the night sky .

The object appeared to be round yet there was bulk to it very hard to describe and it seemed to have a dull red glow about it but as it flew overhead it was dark and remained that way till it disappeared it moved very slowly until the very end when it seemed to disappear quickly.

DISK SHAPED CRAFT IN FOUNTAIN VALLEY

I was driving in my car when I noticed a lit up Disk shaped craft w/ green on it. The craft was really low as it decended in mid air, it then shot up in the sky and hid behind some tall trees. I know it wasn't a plane or helicopter because it moved very agile. I also passed a street light that the craft was near, it suddenly turned on...wierd.. I tried to drive by it, but it must of took off.... I always thought ufo's were fake or B.S, but now I am beginning to wonder.

I don't know what it was. More modern than anything that I can think of.

My brother and I were on a 3 day vacation from work heading southbound to visit our mother in Fountain Valley, CA. Starting our journey from Hayward, CA. Accompanying us in the rental minivan were two other females. My brother and the other female sat in the back.

Approximately 2 hrs. north of Fountain Valley, CA (140 miles), on Interstate 5, I noticed a "small airplane" - with bright, but not blinding lights wobbling closely above the power line poles. My first thought was "Just my luck, an airplane is about to land on me, or on the freeway ahead -- during my vacation..." this lasted for less than one minute, within the next 10 seconds the "airplane" was on my left side (northbound of I-5) traveling steadily with the speed of my vehicle (70-75mph), in my direction, then the word "ufo" came to my mind, yet still skeptical,

I called out to my brother, of whom I thought was sleeping, he replied "I see it" At this point my thought was: "I must eliminate all other! possibilities". I then rolled my window down to hear for any motor/engine noises, but only wind from my traveling vehicle was what I heard, then the craft at least doubled my speed, veered left, at least tripled my speed-that's when I clearly saw 3 white balls of lights in perfect linear formation, but for less than one second during its highest acceleration the middle "ball of light" became orangish, then white again during deceleration,then it made a fast and perfect u-turn and landed on a road of some sort. Lights dimmed.

I had to get back to driving, so I turned my head towards front of my van again. This all happened within 3-5 minutes. I asked my brother, "What was that?" he didn't answer. I asked "Was that a ufo?", he replied "What else could it be?".

Bright star all of a sudden disappeared like it had never been there at all.

Driving home from work, exited 405 frwy & headed north down Harbor Blvd, then made a left (west) turn onto South Coast St. As I drove I noticed a very bright star which I thought nothing of, and a couple of airplanes. This is VERY close to John Wayne Airport, and anybody who lives in the area gets used to seeing planes all the time. Nothing unusual. As I drove, I could still see the star in my perepheral vision easily, and I was startled when the start star started moving slowly. My first reaction was concern that the airplane was going in that same direction, so I looked back up and realized there is no way traffic control would allow two planes to fly so close together, heading toward eachother. At that point I had to concentrate on driving, because that road has a very sharp turn to the left--almost a 90 degree angle, which I had to make. After I turned, (going north)the only way to still see these was to take my eyes off of the road in front of me, and look left out of my window. Fortunately, I was the oonly car on the road at that time. After about the 2nd glance the bright star disappeared in front of my eyes. Unbelievable. I tried telling myself every logical explanation. I thought, well it wasnt a metallic disk, so it wasnt a spaceship. I am really curious if anyone else will or has reported this too. I still have chills. By the way,I am a college student and have a full time job, and am absolutely normal, and very sane.

My brother, his friend and I saw an orange pyramid-shaped object in the sky about 25 yards away from us and about 25 yards up. We were kids at the time, but my recollections are for the most part vivid.

1st Object: Estimated height was about 7 feet at the apex. The base was probably about 7x7 feet also. The object appeared solid and metalic. My younger brother and I insist the object was orange, but his friend believed it to be greenish. 2nd Object: Estimated diameter was about 1 foot. The sphere was red and appeared luminiscent. The first object appeared above a neighbor's house while we were standing on the sidewalk. It hovered above the house and some power lines. The second object, a red sphere, came out of the object and descended about 10 feet below the first object. After the descent of the sphere, the pyramid object began to rise and move slowly toward the south-east. After traveling slowly for several hundred yards, it accelerated very quickly on its south-east path and disappeared. I can't recall what happened to the red sphere. I was about 12, my brother 9 and his friend about 10. My brother was rated gifted and talented, I was an above average student, and his friend had problems with school work and discipline and had been held back a grade. We lived at ((address deleted)) Street, in Fountain Valley. Neither my brother nor I have had additional experiences of this nature. We do not maintain contact with my brother's friend. I tell people occassionally about the events, while my brother chooses not to bring it up.

Round orange object with a tail traveling down from the, that stopped in midair and hovered, then disappeared toward the east

This happened back in the 1960’s over Fountain Valley, CA. I had just gone to bed, and happened to be looking at the stars from my bedroom window. I saw what I thought was a meteor….At that point it was traveling from the south to north. It was orange and had a tail. I jumped up out of the bed, to see where it was going to hit, because it was close.

The strangest thing happened at that point. It stopped in mid-air, and the tail appeared to disappear within the object. It hovered for a few seconds and then turned to the east and disappeared over Saddleback Mountain.

I ran down the stairs to tell my husband what I saw, and of course, he told me, "Go back to sleep." Well, I had only been in bed for a few minutes and was not sleeping or dreaming.

It was frustrating not to be believed, but the next morning, the news, might have been KFI as I like that station, it was that reported a UFO was seen over Fountain Valley. I said: "There, do you believe me now?" He didn’t say anything.

It was reported on the radio that there were several military planes in the vicinity, and they attempted to chase it, but it disappeared so quickly over the mountains that they realized there was no way they could follow it at the speed it was going.

It was seen over Arizona, and New Mexico within minutes. I have no idea what I was looking at, but since I was listening to KFI again this evening, it was urged that I report what I saw. This is what I saw. I still am amazed by it. I have never seen the likes of it before, or after that night.
