Orange fire ball spotted over the Monterey Bay along with another craft of orange color.

I am a business owner in the Capitola Village, Capitola CA. I was walking to my store at 8:00pm on 2/20/14 to deliver product when something in the sky caught my eye. I looked up to see what appeared to be a large orange fireball in the sky. It held its position. I was with my husband who also saw the display in the sky. I ran to the car to grab the binoculars.

Once I got them the fireball appearance was diminishing but the orange color remained.

We also noticed that there was another orange craft to the right of the original one.

Ultimately they both slowly flew away from us and disappeared very slowly.

Triangle-shaped craft w/3 solid white lights on the bottom, travelling fast, visible about 6 sec..

Looking up at the SW sky while on security duty next to the airport, sky was clear of clouds, stars visible, and then observed a suspicious unidentified craft travelling in a NE direction. I have never seen an aircraft of this configuration or one at that altitude before, and I have looked at many typical aircraft types in those skies. This craft was a triangular shape--I could barely make out the outline against the dark sky--and it had 3 solid white lights on the bottom side (one at each point of the triangle). I suspect it was at about the altitude that single engine small planes are at, but there is no way for me to know; and the size of it is unknown, but I am guessing it was very large. It was travelling at a high rate of speed because it was only visible for roughly 6 seconds before it went out of sight into the light pollution in the NE sky. No engine noise was heard like you would expect from a large jet engine and for a craft going that fast.

oval white light in sky just offshore of Moss Landing, CA

i was at the beach on thanksgiving day, late afternoon, with a friend, taking photos. i am a photographer and wanted to catch some beach shots. i noticed an oval white light in the sky near the power plant while I was photographing the plant.

Shortly after, I saw the same object about a mile offshore. i could see the buoy marker in the water. The object was at about a 45 degree point in the sky.

i watched it appear suddenly, remain stationary for a few seconds, then zip up and over a few hundred yards, then again the other direction. It disappeared suddenly, then reappeared further away, just left of it's previous position.

As it moved/reappeared, i photographed it. It is clearly visible. It appears smaller when it is further away, and is fairly horizontal most of the time, then diagonal at one point.

The sun had just set, it was not the sun, or the moon (the moon is visible in the photos, barely a crescent, NOT an oval, not like the object=NOT a camera reflection).

I am very familiar with lens flare and camera reflection, and it is neither. I watched the object with my own eyes, between photographing it.

It appears on the photos, 35mm, and negatives, very clearly, and is not a camera or developing error.

The location was the beach at Moss Landing, near the Monterey Research Institute, a large power plant, and marina. When the object was over the ocean, I was facing with my back to the facilities. It was not a reflection or anomilie from either one. At times it appeared to change shape within itself, becoming a sphere within an oval, but it was always a white light, from what I could see, and photographed. There was no noticable sound.

I saw this big bright light on the road comming from Los Angeles to Monterey california

I was Driving cuz My hasband Got very tired of driving, I was comming from Los Angeles 6hrs drive and we were going to our home, so I was driving for about 3 hrs and hasband was sleep, I was alone on the road nothing was around, I saw a Big light on a shape of a cicle " huge round light "I was looking at it Driving at 65 miles per hr, I did not see a distance on between I never got closed to it or far to it, I was still at the same distance, then ofter like 10 sec, it jump and went inside the road, it jump and go under the road, it desapear, I was trying to wake up my hasband, when he woke up it was too late, hte object was on my right hand side there was no cars comming nothing just me on the road, the weirdest thing is that my hasband said how did we got home so fast? when it takes us a about 7 or 8 hrs to get home...

Summary : saw blue green bright flash covering entire horizen, then few miles down the road off of highway 1, saw two perfect circles of fire in a large field and one smaller fire in the distance.

four friends and i were travelling at approximately 1:15 am on highway 1 about 10 miles north of monterey california. all but one witnessed extremely large blue green flash on horizon that lit up the entire sky like lightning.a few miles down the highway and over some small hills, we encountered two almost perfect circles of fire in a large field on the eastern side of the highway. we did not see any structures nearby or any debris (as if from something that had crashed?) we witnessed two fire trucks going towards the fires a few miles further north, but after calling the monterey communications office, the dispatcher told us that he had no record of dispatching any type of emergency vehicles at the time in question. please email me with any questions or information that you might have, as i am extrmely interested, as well as perplexed, by this incident. Silver-grey balloon clusters at very high altitude, at high speed

Per Mr. Davenport's request, I am submitting this report about seeing some balloon-like objects.

From 1984 through 1987, while living in the Monterey Bay Area, I observed several times what appeared to be flights of balloon clusters at very high altitudes passing eastward over the Central California Coast.

Most were too far away and too high to see much, even with 7x binoculars.

Only one time did they pass directly overhead and seemed close enough to see them better.

The clusters appeared to be several silver-gray, featureless balloons in tight formations and appeared to be straight eastward moving very rapidly, like a jet. They also seemed to be moving around, rotating around each other in rather unballoon-like ways but I am uncertain of this because of they were so far away.

I did not think much of these sightings, assuming that they were some sort of new fancy style of balloon, travelling in the jet stream, until I found out that others had seen very similar objects from relatively close by.

Just before sun down (sun still shinning) hovering over the bay it was metallic in color,very shiney. It later moved slowly over the rifle range and then a row of colored lites appeared around the bottom of it before it disappeared. There was nothing on TV or papers. With the military base and Language Institute being there, I know a lot of people had to see it. Yes, I've had abduction experiences as a child and adult. I even went to a shrink in the mid 70's just to tell this, and never went back due to being in law enforcement and my need to just tell someone and maybe get an answer.

I believe it was summer 1965-1967, I don't remember having to attend school. We were leaving our house on FT Ord to drive to a store in Seaside, when we observed a large shiney metallic object hovering over MontereyBay. My brothers and I watched it out of the car window until we returned from the store and then sat in the yard watching as other neighbors watched also. After hovering over the bay for awhile, it slowly moved over to the rifle range and I guess it hovered for approx 10 minutes, a row of colored lites appeared around the bottom of it (the sun had not quite set) and then it disappeared. My brother had called the TV station (channel 4 or 8) but they didn't know anything. I know that with the Monterey Airport being nearby, FT Ord and the Navy Language Institute being based on the Monterey Peninsula; some of those people had to see it too. It was not a plane or weather balloon! It stayed in one place to long before moving, and the sun did reflect off of it, the sun moved, it didn't. I'm almost 46yrs old. I can still remember that day, I don't really talk about it. I'm a military brat (my day did 20yrs), I'm an AirForce Vet. I've worked in LawEnforcemnet,Airline Industry, collge educ., teaching, and now I'm in Law Enforcement in Georgia. My husbandjust retired 20yrs Mil. I've tried to explain it all away over the years through religion. No, I don't attend any sort of religious services. I believe in God, but I also know what I've experienced over the course of my life is real too. I always knew when they were coming. They always came in the fall time of the year. I'd get ear ringing an then paralized, but my mind was very much aware. They materialized out of thin air and then I was some place else. I seem to have been the only one in my family who has been abducted. One of my brothers who is now 42, had an experience as a toddler, that I'll never forget. He was standing in his crib screaming that the big eyed dogs were afer him, my parents had to rush him to Walter Reed Army Hosp. in Wash.DC (my dad was stationed in Va.) he was hysterical and couldnt be put down on the floor. I remember getting a sneak peek at him while he was in the Hosp. he had white patches on both eyes, he was never the same again after that. I could go on, but this is not what you want to hear.
