Traveling then stoped in mid air

Object was bright orange when I sighted it. It was traveling from the south. I watched it for about a minute as it traveled didn’t seem to be in a hurry. Then it dead stopped and sat between two trees in my plain view. It held there for at least 5 minutes and started growing dimmer and dimmer until it was a silver speck and then zoomed away! I have never seen anything like it!

UFO sighting outside CVS.

Event Details: At approximately 1900 hours I was leaving the CVS pharmacy located at 328 White Horse Pike in Pomona, New Jersey. As I was pulling out of the parking lot, I noticed a bright white ball rising from out of the tree line located directly behind the CVS and a construction site behind the store. The object got very bright and then faded back to its original luminosity. At this point I pulled my vehicle over and began recording the object with my phone. The object was very bright, round and about 1/10th the size of a full moon. I noticed that It was much larger a star or planet would be in the night sky. After rising from above the tree line the object than remained stationary just above the tree line for approximately a minute and a half and then its brightness began to fade until it was gone. I heard no noise that might have been associated with a helicopter or aircraft. I live relatively close to the Atlantic City international Airport and there was aircraft visible in the sky! at the same time as the object, however aircraft look very different than what I saw and are much smaller and further away in the sky and emit a blinking light.

Caravan of lights moving NE that appear out of nowhere while others moved about as protection. Like herding cattle.

Lights appearing seperate one after the other in a line out of nowhere in sky moving northeast as other lights that were not moving off on either side of the line of the other lights began moving and had a different color to them orange not bright white or bluish like others. They seem to be doing a military like staggered and protect formation. There were two that laid behind for a while as if to cover where the “caravan” had come from for about 5 more minutes. They moved in the sky effortlessly changing directions which is impossibly for a drone or plane. And I can say I see at this distance ... well they were moving really fast. Faster than any plane or rocket anything on this earth. My partner and I were astonished and tried to get video but my phone was a fail. I’m certain now that we are not alone. And I can’t find anybody who saw the same as we did. It wasn’t space x it wasn’t satellites it was not from here unless there’s a cover up from the public.

Approx 5:30am observed 20-30 bluish white lights traveling Southwest to Northeast at extremely high rate of speed above the cloud cover

At 5:30 a.m. my fiance and I were woken by our son crying. After consouling him and getting him back to sleep we stepped outside for a cigarette. Looking to the night sky we proceeded to see 20-30 bluish white lights evenly spaced above the cloud cover traveling at an extremely high rate of speed Southwest to Northeast. I am relatively familiar with normal earthly aircraft abilities observed from the ground due to our current residence being under a flight path. These objects exhibited no common aircraft traits I am aware of , the lights, spacing, spacing, formation,flight path, speed. The closest aerial object I could relate them to would be a satellite although they were far brighter and moving at an inconcevable high rate of speed.

I left my house around 2 AM to get my girlfriend something to eat. As I was leaving my house I noticed it was quite dark darker than usual like my light from my house was not penetrating far enough outward when I know it does. as I walked out I noticed three beans walking behind my girlfriends car. these beans had large heads and look like they were wearing space suits of some kind. I stepped out word yelled at them it’s like they ignored me. I stepped out form underneath my porch and a bright light shined upon me I did not hear a helicopter I did not hear anything At all. All I saw was this bright light it reminded me of an LED light but there was something different about it there was a mist around the light it was like it was trying to locate me.

To this day I still can’t explain it and I don’t really like talking about it. Another thing is it was very hot that summer week we had the AC going on all day it was hot at night at 2 AM.

Circular object with multiple red, blue and green flashing lights making very tight turns at a fast rate of speed.

I was sitting at a park near Pomona California at approximately 8:35pm with a friend and my dog watching a music video on my phone, when my friend frantically kept telling me to look at this object flying to the west of us. He asked me if it was a drone. When I did look I saw a circular object with multiple red, blue and green flashing lights moving NW just above the flight path of jets taking off from Ontario Airport in the San Bernardino County.

I told my friend it can’t be a drone because it’s too close to the airport and that’s when the object stopped and went back heading SE for about 5 seconds, and then started making very tight circles at a fast rate of speed.

As the object was doing these maneuvers in the sky there were jets taking off from the Ontario airport and knowing that when the jets do take off they hold at 5,000 ft until cleared to make their turn away from the airport. This object was above the jets at about an altitude of 15,000 ft. There is also a flightpath going west to LAX and those jets fly at 30,000 ft. These jets were definitely very high above this object.

The object continued moving NW to East and South in tight maneuvers including going up and down about 5,000ft. Judging by the flashing lights of the object compared to the jets that were taking off and other jets that were very high up the object had flashing lights that did not resemble the lights on the jets plus the lights were very bright.

We watched this object for about a good 5 minutes, until it started going SW at a very steep angle up, and it was out of sight in about 6 seconds.

At 7:20pm i was in my backyard watering my garden in the city of pomona, ca. At 7:35pm i finish watering the garden and just stood around in the backyard looking at the plants and the sky. It was past sunset but the sky was still clear blue and visible.

At 7:46pm, I looked up east of the sky looking towards the neighboring city of Montclair or looking over the Inland Empire. I saw a bright light sphere object. It was between yellow and orange in color.

Still focus on the object it started ascending very slowly. Then it started shrinking, in what look like if it was in steps or in stages of large to small perfect spheres. While it was shrink at the same time it look like it was losing some of its yellow orange glow, and would looked like a silver or grey color. Then after staring at it for about 15 seconds, it just disappear.

Started with a green fireball followed by flashing lights in the sky then complete power outage and object was gone

At approximately 11:45pm while traveling north on the palisades parkway near exit 11, I witnessed a green fireball light up the sky which disappeared as soon as it came… Then at approximately midnight, while traveling North on 45 between Spring Valley and Pomona my wife and i witnessed flashing in the sky which seemed to be cloud covered or had a haze around it. We drove along following this which happened to be the same direction as our way home. The flashing was inconsistent, and varied in color. There was nothing obstructing us from seeing this. No trees or buildings around. There was nothing below the haze and flashing or above. I pulled into our complex (Buckingham Court in Pomona NY) and i stopped to take about a 30 second video of this. At which point i pulled into my parking spot. It seemed to be almost directly over our house… We heard a humming noise for about 30 seconds. At the exact moment i shut my car off the entire power in the complex wen! t out. There was complete darkness and the flashing and haze in the sky was gone. Power went back on at 1:35am... Will email video along with this explanation.

Three orange spheres in two events at & north of the San Gabriel Moutains.

On 19 Oct 2014 I witnessed two separate events. These events were viewed from my front yard in Pomona, Ca. All objects I viewed were a orange, and sphere shaped. First event I assumed was military activity, from Edwards AFB or even Vandenberg AFB. The second event was not from either site.

Event one: At 19:55 I witnessed a orange light appear from behind the San Gabriel Mountains. The mountain range is from west to east. I am about 10 miles from the peaks. From my yard, I witnessed a orange sphere appear from behind the range. It was in view from 10° and rise to 45°+ above horizon. It began at 350° N and with straight up trajectory. Within 15 seconds, passing through clouds it faded away. Looked like a rocket launch, compared to ones I have seen in the past. This one did not last long, and faded quicker than any other launch. My thought was that it was a short range missile.

Event two: At 20:04 I witnessed my second sighting. This one was nothing like the first. This event started on my side of the mountain range, with two orange spheres. The objects were brighter than the first. They running together, parallel along the mountain range. The lights were separated by at least 20° in altitude from my perspective. The lower of the two spheres, I believe was lower than the mountain peaks. Or less than 10° from the horizon. They traveled for 15 seconds or so. When they hit the 350°N line, like the first. They both went vertical, and faded away around 45° up.

I can not tell what they were.

Golden colored UFO.

Well, I was walking at the park with my mom when my feet got really tired and i decided to take a break and sit on a bench. As i was walking, i saw towards the front of the park this golden-yellow colored UFO that had that stereotypical dome on top (you know the one where the aliens are in and they can see everything? the one where its made of a glass) and it flew very fast behind the trees in front and disappeared. It was a bit bigger than your average car but a lot smaller than the giant UFO i saw before.

From front yard of my house, it was perfectly clear skies when I looked straight up and saw a white dot that I almost looked away and dismissed it as mid day star. But then I noticed it was moving in a Northwest direction. A few months ago I watched the space station move across the sky at night over southern california. It resembled that to me as in the size and speed at which it moved. But then I noticed once it got from directly overhead to a slight northwestern direction it seemed to stop and then move in a flat eastern direction slowly for about 2 minutes. If I had to judge distance the movement from the beginning would have been 3 feet in line of sight from southeast to northwest then about 9 inches in line of sight eastern direction before continuing northwest out of my site behind a obstructing tree. I saw several plans flying at high altitude flying near or directly underneath this object and it was obviously way higher than them. Like I said it looked like a mid day star but moving. When it was directly over my head at the beginning of my sighting it seemed to shimmer as if it was reflective. Which in turn would kind of make it look larger and smaller. The last I saw of it, it was getting fainter but as if something that moves away gets smaller. I have always been into ufo sightings but never had what I felt to be a genuine sighting. I would not report something that I did not feel that needed to be genuinely looked into. I am excited to find out if it was something explainable or not. I wish someone else could verify my story.

Hi i saw 3 lights coming down over my house but the more they was closer i could see that they weren't helicopters or plains their shape was like tear drop metalic color very bright light around the ship two of them but the third was red light with one light bright in the middle , first they was coming to close but i call my boyfriend he was inside the house then he come out and he saw them too but they went far up by the moon then they was there some time when saddenly like 12 more small pass by over us making differents forms but they left the others was there by the moon for long time then they start moving to the sun direction very slow till they disappear to my eyes it was amazing by the way this is not the first time i see them. well i wish you believe me im telling the true am very glad to see them.

Three orange spheres flew within a mile or so of my neighborhood and kept fading in and out of site and made a triangular formation.

After returning home from marching band practice, me and two others in my truck noticed three floating orange spheres above the 71 Express way.

After the truck had passed under the strange spheres, a few seconds later, they started fading away.

When we reached out house, about a third of a mile away, the 3 spheres had moved about 5 to 10 miles in opposite directions creating a large triangle formation.

All three aircraft faded in and out of view during the whole duration, leaving behind only one ufo then immediately the other 2 would rejoin.

At one point, it appeared that the three craft were creating a perimeter around the Ontario Airport.

Moreover, one of the orange spheres rapidly accelerated, towards my direction (westward, with me looking east), then dramatically stopping within a mile or two.

After an hour or so they all faded away, as multiple passenger aircraft flew in the area.

Multiple orange/red spheres in sky over Los Angeles County

Driving Westbound on Foothill Blvd. at Town Center, noticed people pointing at the sky and using their cell phone cameras. Continuing east bound on Foothill Blvd, noticed multiple spheres in the sky towards the foothills at a high altitude. Turned North bound on Town Avenue and pulled over. Several witnesses on Town avenue and at Chevron on Foothill cross street of Town. Lights appeared to be spherical. In groups of 2 and 3, these lights appeared to be moving slowly from West to East. Lights were orange/red and steady in color. There did not appear to be a strobe effect or any aviation lights on these objects. There was no audible sound associated with them. They would continue on and from my vantage point, appear to go straight up and disappear, or fade completely from sight. Periodically, one or two would begin to move south on Town avenue and appear to correct their "course" and re-join the other spheres. This continued on for the better part of! an hour. I personally counted at least 30 of these objects. A jet at one point did go over head at a high altitude. Jet did not appear to be military.

fast moving white/yellow oval object over inland empire

I was looking out my window facing south on 02/05/11 at 17:41:00 (I jotted time/date after the event) enjoying the sunset, when I saw a white/yellow oval shaped object moving from west to east at 3 times the rate of civil air carriers. I knew immediately it was something I’ve never seen before. I jumped up, mouth open, eyes wide, fully understanding this was my 1st UFO sighting.

I live just south of the San Gabriel Mountains and just west of San Jacinto Peak. From my location it appeared to be coming from Los Angeles area heading east bound towards Palm Springs, Salton Sea area at appx. 4000 ft. What I find interesting and validates my own sighting is the posted sighting in Indio which occurred the same day (02/05/11) with a reported time at 17:35:00. BTW Indio CA is 90 miles east, bearing 103 of my location. Coincidence? I’m ex military/FAA air controller.

bright orange light and looked like it dropped something saw it twice in one night...

we were in our porch and then the guys saw it first and ran in and told us that they had seen this light and it looked like a commet at first but then it just stopped all of a sudden and it flashed went from bright to dimm. we thought that they were insane at first but then when they came to tell us we went outside to see from out porch and then proceeded to the sidewalk and saw it way better and it stayed up there for a good 5 or more minutes and as it was up there it seemed to drop what seemed like little lights and they were going straight down. then we saw it go dimmer and dimmer and then it finally just disapeared. then a few minutes later like maybe 30-45 minutes later we saw it again but this time in a diffrent location and this time it was only up there for about 2-4 minutes and then just dissapeared and then we called the cops and they came and took a report and the officer didnt believe us at first but we took video on cell so yeah but it was li! ke an orange color with white almost and also the first time we saw it we took video and sent it to channel 5 news ktla. but this is our first time and we are new to this we dont know what it was all i know is it was not a plane or helicopter or a blimp cause i looked far away but very bright. but thank you for your time and no this is not a joke we are excited and now we cant go to sleep its crazy but we didnt even know that there was this number or website we actually got this info from the news on the internet. so we decided to call and we left a voice mail and now this letter. but once again thank you and please if you do find out what this is can you tell us??? we are going to try to get a little cheap telescope to try to see more...we are interested now to see whats out there...oh yeah and our friends told us that they had seen it a few days ago and this would be their third time and this is our first time we thought that they were crazy at first but now we saw it t! oo so i dont know but yeah once again thank you. oh yeah we ha! ve cell phone fotage.

I was driving south bound on the 57 freeway in california at 6:48pm pst. I was about to merge in the the line that allows you to get on to I-10 east. I was inbetween the pass right by Raging Waters. As the valley view of pamona opens up, I always look at the hill on the other side. I notice that the hill only has trees in the shade. I think that is kinda odd everytime i see it. So I look up and see this flashing light. I am not sure how high above the hill it was flashing. It was high enough in the sky to be a star. plus it wasn't the right time of day to be seen. It flashed about 10 times then I never saw it again. It happened so fast that I could get the passanger in the car to even see the light. I text my friend a message right then and there to get a time stamp.

It was a light orange round ball of light with no sound and physical form flying nrth to south 9:45p Pomona,Ca

My friend and co-business partner were outside my garage. We had just emptied the back of his truck with furniture and he had gotten inside his truck to leave, so I was talking to him thru his passenger window, So I was facing north. It was a very clear night so I was looking up towards the north and I seen a very strange light orange light coming south in a slow and low altitude, about the same altitude a helicopter would fly, but this was not a helicopter, nor was it a plane.

We couldn't see past the orange glowing light to see what shape or form it was, also there was no sound. At the same time a plane was coming from Ontario airport from the south, so I told my friend now that is a plane, because we seen & heard it was a plane and it flew right over us and as it passed over us it was heading towards the strange orange light and we were quite for about two seconds and both of us said there going to hit and we seen the planes wings turn to the right and mo! ve out of it's way. The orange light just stood on it same track going south and as it passed over us it had no sound and no wings or atleast we couldn't see any type of physical form. It continued on it's path South and almost collided with another plane which was on the path from Ontario to L AX Airport and they missed and a minute later it was gone but the orange light had no sound and it looked as if it was doing minor zig-zagging, but it definitely was not a helicopter nor a airplane. bright light moving across morning sky.

One round shape bright white light moving not fast but not slow very steady across sky. There were no other lights flashing or blinking like on this object. On normal human aircraft there are safety lights that blink. Not on this one. No noise or sound coming from the object. There was no tail like on a comet or exhaust trailing behind this object. This object just moved at a steady straight pace to where ever it was going. I like to gaze the skys, but I have never seen anything like this. It was brighter than the stars in the sky. This is why it caught my eyes.

The event happend last night 11/24/09 around 11:35pm. The camera has the exact time.

At first I noticed an orange light travelling from the NW slowely cruising towards the East. The bright light dimmed and got brighter at random. It then stoped and hovered at an unkown altitude. With the naked It did not have a shape other than looking like a bright star or airplane with landings lights down at a distance. I did attempt to take video with my camera however it was too dark to do so. However I did take still pictures in ISO mode that reavealed more than I expected after zoom-in. The first picture shows a clear half circle shaped object. The second a posibly distorted image of the craft-- hard to discribe. Then a third picture resembles an object exploding from each side with a unaffected center. Now I mentioned 10 objects, and here is a bizzar twist. The main ship released mulitple other craft or objects... they dropped from the bottom of the main craft, each dropping hundreds ( there was a red beam or gas emitted from each smaller craft as they fell)of feet before flying away in a controlled manner in a North direction. I know it sounds crazy! The main craft then simply dissapeared. After the sightings I proceeded to take a picture of a planet (jupiter maybe, similar brightness to the object)or star, I took a picture of an aircraft flying in the area, and finally the moon as a reference or comparison check for a technician. Other large commercial aircraft were flying around during this time. Perhaps there are reports from pilots or other! viewers.

Upon request I can send digital copies of the image for analysis. I am curious as to what will be revealed.

Object moving at what looked like warp speed with trailing white tail

I was driving westbound on Interstate 60 going to work. I was going through the Ontario/Pomona area. I just happened to look up and to the right when I saw what at first I thought was a shooting star. This object (for lack of a better description) took off in the W-NW direction and left a trailing bright white tail that quickly followed it. It disappeared within a couple of seconds.

The only reason that I don't think that it was a shooting star was because I have never seen one in the day light. At 7:02 AM in the morning the sun has already come up.

This object and the way it acted reminds me of how the warp speed looked on Star Trek.

UFO OVER POMONA

around 3o minutes past midnight I saw this red light flying to the tress , it was on the eastern direction , I told my son look there is a police helicopter coming to get you because you are playing video games , but I noticed this light was bigger than a usual police helicopter from Pomona PD . as I run towards the door my wife following me and I was explaining to her about the light in the sky and it turn towards the north and the trees were obstructing the view , As the light come out of the trees it was white and pulsating , s we were looking at it it was closed according to my calculations closed to the San dimas Damn it turn very white and some other stuff come out from the top it look like if it was doing something electrical with the water and we look at each other , I have never see my wife so scare in my entire life . we look back and the UFO was gone . i HAVE SEEN AIRPLANES PASSING BY AND HELICOPTERS THEY HAVE the collision lights and this th! ing did not have any green light on it it was bright red , change to white and dissapear . We moved back to my parents in Rowland heights .

Well, frist of all I'd like o say that I'm very scared because ever since April the 1st of the year 2005, I saw what looked to me to be an alien craft, since that day i keep seeing it over and over every year on the same day exept for this day. Well, this time i was smart enough to call over my sisters to have some witnesses. This is how it happened i had come home from school and i went to go check on the dogs that we have, well the moment i went out there i felt has if something was wathching me and i loocked up and saw a small object preety high up in the air i was suprised and i started to think its gotta be an airplane or a ballon or something and then i started to remember about what happened one year ago and two years ago on the same day. It acted almost the same has the one from last time. It moved around pretty fast and it keept going back and forth, thn after probably 5 minutes i called my sisters and told them look i see it agian look come before it leaves. when they came they were like i dont see anything?? And then they looked closely and one by ione started seing the object. But then something more strange happened we saw one appear alomost alkl of a sudden they looked like they were close to each other aligned but then one would go ahead of the other, it was creepy and scary cause we started thinking that maybe more would appear and would see us. The object seemed silvernad round or oval shaped i couldn't figure it out cause ti was so high up in the air. Now one thing is for sure this were not an aircraft because aircraft or airplanes cannot go back and forth or make a turn in mid air, a ballon would leave out of sight, and another thing that day wasnt so windy at all, it was mostly clear. All i can say is i cant explain what i saw and i am always going to keep that question in my mind till i fnd answers.

Strange object high in the sky!

This is the second time that I have seen them the first time, was like this time, but many didn’t believe me because of all the dates it just had to be on April fools day!!! But, I still go with the story, because coming up with a lie is not my thing. Well, this is how it happened, I went to the back of the house because I wanted to play with my little puppies, when I just looked in the sky and started wondering about that day when I saw the UFO. Well, I don’t know how I knew they were there because I saw what looked like a dot!! At first I was like it’s got to be a plane but it stayed still, then it stared moving south, very slow, it seemed very high up! And the acqward thing was that airplanes were passing right at the bottom of it! That’s when I started thinking that it’s got to be a balloon or a bag! And at that moment I called my sisters and my brother because this time I wanted witnesses! They came out side and asked me what’s wrong I said you wont believe it remember what I saw on April Fools it there again! They started searching for it and I told them were it is! Then my sister Virginia saw it and she said, “What is that” I told her you see it? She said yes. Well a couple of minutes later my other sister saw it and my little brother! I was so happy that I had witnesses but that’s when another one appeared. I told them oh my god there’s another one!!! When I saw the other one I got so scared! Because I started thinking maybe we see them. Well the strangest thing was that the were moving at a very slow speed, at first one would be ahead then the other. But then they’d go back and it was just so strange. A couple of minutes past when one of them just took off and headed south and disappeared, but the other on were still there! Just moving slowly.Oh yes and another thing that really creped me out was that one of the object was showing a red light at times and the other one flickered a blue light! That was the weirdest part, it actually creped out my little brother, because how could! it show the light in the middle of the day!!! Well, the saddest part is I didn’t have binoculars to get a better look, especially a camera! But the next time I will be ready, because I really want to know exactly what they look like because it was so high up that I couldn’t take a good look at it! It just looked like a dot, but you could still see it so it means it was probably large. I just hope I can see them again because they leave me with so much amazement and wonders!

3 saucers moving as if they were airplanes then third comes and beams them

at first i thought they were airplanes, but they clearly were saucers if you looked right. they moved straight then started moving at a fast rate of speed,you would thing they're airplanes, but then they they moved fast around each other in circles, and anyone would know planes don't do that or anything, suggesting they we're moving around 150 miles an hour then slowed then went faster in circles at around 200 miles an hour seemed like they were around 60 feet from each other going at a high rate of speed, it was no plane. following it was a third one, it shined some sort of beam at both that i still cannot explain to this day, and then both disappeared and the third sped off at an enormous speed. at the time i was in my brothers car and it wouldn't turn on and the radio was acting odd as if there was a strong field of some sort around it.

I notice a bright white flashing object in the clear night sky in the city of Pomona, California.

At first glance before the bright white flashing I thought it was the north star then I thought a plane or helicopter but I stood still and told my friends to look up that it was not moving just flashing bright white they said its a plane, they continued to walk towards the car I kept looking at it for about 1 minute then looked down to see the time when I looked back up it was gone I looked all around in the area just to see if i could see it, it was gone. I have had other sightings in the past of other different abjects and have told friends a few times when there with me I seen things but they see nothing and tell me im seeing things I just dismissed them as some sort of plane which I know there not but this time I had witnesses.

well it might be a bit long.

On that they offcourse it was April fools that is the main reason why nobody believes me, well i went outside to go check on my dogs. I took them out and we sat on the wall of the other house since the houses are so close. Well we sat there for a couple of minutes when all of a sudden my dogs started to stare at the sky! I was very scared because they were so calm! I decided to see what they were seing so i looked at the sky ut didn't see anything but tried looking harder when i saw it it was very far, my first thought was maybe its a bag, but there was no wind i tried thinking what it can be then, it started to move back and forth then stop in mid air! At that moment i thought this is not a plane it can't be, after looking at it for 10 minutes it moved east very fast i ran inside to the front when i looked i could bearly se it. I decided to tell my sisters and my councelor who was working with us because we were going through rouge times. They didn't believe me! Nobody did becasuse they thought it was a joke i told them that i wouldn't lie about something like this.

I saw 5-6 red dots in the sky. They were very bright and bigger than most visible stars. A lot bigger. They weren't moving, just stationary in that one spot. To the North. I first thought they were from the mountins, but they were far too bright and I had never seen them before. They stayed there all of the night and when I woke up the next morning they were gone. I saw them against a clear night.

I saw pinpoints of light that flashed, disappeared and appeared again and another time, a large, metallic disc.

It was a cold, clear night with bright stars visible. I caught a flash of light to my left in the south east just above the trees. It started as a pinpoint and then a bright flash, then nothing. Then it would appear again in a random pattern. Sometimes to the left, then the right, then up, then down behind the trees. I had seen such a light about 1 month ago just as I was about to arrive at my turnoff to my house. It was more to the north and a very bright flash and as suddenly gone. I am a paraprofessional and my husband is employed in the trailer business and is also a Beef Farmer. About 7 years ago, I also saw, again when I was nearly home, a bright, enormous, saucer shaped object hovering over a cleared field to my left. It was a bright, moonlight night and I rolled the truck window down to make sure I wasn't seeing a reflection. It wasn't and it was as big as a fotball field and absolutely silent. I slowed down almost to a stop but I was too scared to completely stop. It was like nothing I had ever seen before.

Bright orange light hovering in southwestern sky, moved northeast, then hovered again and proceeded to release several smaller light spheres which moved slowly and independently, most going downward, at least one going upward. Orange light then pulsated brighter, then dimmed, eventually dimmed out completely. Duration of sighting lasted approx. 8 minutes.

I was out for my nightly walk when I noticed in the southwest sky a bright glowing orange sphere about twice the size of Mars. The light moved in a northeast direction as I ran back home to get my wife to witness this. My wife came outside and we both observed (I through binoculars) as the orange sphere released several smaller spheres of light, dropping them downward. At one point there were at least 3 of these lights dropping at the same time as another light shot up from above the object. We continued to watch as the light pulsated brighter and then dimmed until it dimmed or winked out. This is the identical object that we observed on 3/29 at approximately the same time of night. However, this time the object was not near the airport as it was on the first sighting. We were not watching a planet, as planets do not travel across the sky and then stop and drop spheres of light out of them.

Orange/red glowing object with flashing white and red lights to each side SE of Foothill and Garey, Pomona, CA. Hovered for approx 5 minutes, then began to move in an upward northeasterly direction stopping periodically and dropping at least two balls of light. Stopped again and hovered for approx 4-5 minutes witnessed by both myself and my wife through binoculars. Brightness intensified approximately three times and them dimmed and disappeared.

Approximately 10:20 pm PST I began my nightly walk heading south. Immediately, I observed an orangeish/red glowing object in the sky southeast of Foothill and Garey in Pomona, CA. Kept watching the object for the next 10 minutes making my way back to my house. As I walked north, it seemed to move north along with me. It stopped, the light intensified and it dropped a sphere of light out of its bottom. When I reached my house, I grabbed my binoculars and called for my wife to come out and see it. I observed the object through the binoculars and saw red and white blinking lights on each side of the object. One more sphere of light dropped from the bottom as it hovered there. I then gave the binoculars to my wife who also observed the same. We watched for approximately four minutes during which time the light intensified greatly several times before dimming and disappearing.

Classic very bright to golden-orange fireball

On February 23, 1999, at 2:30 A.M., my friend Brenda and I were driving on the 10 freeway heading west towards Los Angeles, just east of the 215 freeway (see map of Pamona, California) when we noticed at approximately 8-12,000 feet at approximately 60-75 degrees above the horizon looking through the front windshield, a very bright golden orange fireball traveling from what appeared to be the North East heading in a South Westerly direction. The very bright fireball appeared about as large as the end of one of my index finger. I was amazed because this supposed fireball or shooting star was moving very slowly and the tail was equally as bright at the circular shape of the object as it was bright at the very tip of the tail. The tail was so finely pointed, as though it were as sharp as the tip of a needle. The flared trail was clear and bright and did not flicker or have a smoke trail like a comet or shooting star does. We both watched this in astonishment moving at what seemd like about the speed of a car on the freeway (70 MPH) although it was difficult to read speed. This was very slow compared to a shooting star. After about 20 seconds or so, the flared tail and the very bright golden-orange light cut out, as though a rocket or thruster engine was turned off. Now the object appeared round or diamond shaped (and had the appearance of a solid structure) and had a few very small lights (2-3) on and coasted in a straight line in the same direction for about another minute or so before we lost sight of it on the horizon and behind a mountain. There were a number of airplanes in the sky not far from the object which must have seen it. Because there were airplanes with their flashing lights on, you could clearly distinguish the vast difference in light and character of this extremely bright fireball/craft and an airplane. The airplane lights were not even comparable to the clear brightness of this fireball/craft. There were a few drivers/cars on the road which we thought must have also seen the objec! t which was so striking in the night city sky.

Additional information about my sighting.

This is in addition to the report I just made. I just received an e-mail from ((Name deleted))I, NASA's Head of Astrochemistry. While the orange fireball my friend Brenda and I saw moved across the sky for a minute or so, I estimated that it was traveling at a speed similar to our car (70 mph). When you look at this letter from NASA, it is clear that meteors travel much faster than 70 mph. It reads: "Most meteors travel in prograde orbits near the ecliptic plane (this is up to + or - 23 degrees from the equator, depending on the season). This means that any meteors that you see from outside earth should travel roughly parallel paths; most meteors have velocities greater than 20 km/s - some travel slower, most travel faster. 20 km/sec comes to 72,000 km per hour. As you can see, what I saw was traveling much slower than 72,000 kilometers per hour. How then could it have been a meteor?

This event occurred at the same time that a missile was launched over the Pacific Ocean. In subsequent communications, the observer stated that he believes that what he and the other witness observed was not a missile launch. However, it is the feeling that what the individual describes here is indistiguishable from the known missile launch.

Young man was making his delivery run, when he looked into the sky and noticed 16 tiny round, or oval, golden colored objects in a cluster overhead. They maneuvered a bit relative to one another.

He went into his customer's office to summon the employees outside, but by the time he got back outside, all the objects were gone.

Caller had had two previous sightings. In December 1994, he witnessed a round, saucer-shaped object during a trip from Riverside to Las Vegas. Also, saw something in the vicinity of Jupiter in August 1995, which streaked away from the area of the sky where Jupiter was visible.

He will submit a written report.

A bright star grew larged and exploded in the sky and faded away in a ten minute period.

After my little league game was over and the lights went out, my teammates and their parents headed to the parking lot to go home. Then one of the parents said what's that??? Another parent said your watching a star blow up!!! And that's what it looked like. A bright star got brighter and brighter and bigger then it blew up. Like 50 small fire balls shot out from the center of this bright pulsating star and slowly faded away. Many years later when in college I asked my Astronomy professors who said no ones ever seen a star blow up in the sky. But I do know what I witnessed.,
