Set the alarm by back sliding door and noticed a moving starlike object. No colored or blinking lights. It passed behind a tall tree and then another similar object followed the exact path as the first one. I kept watching and counted 10 objects that seemed to come from nowhere just appear out of the blackness and take exact path same speed as previous light. I never saw 2 lights together the following light would come after the previous light had disappeared. Event lasted approx 7 minutes.

5 round lit up objects flying in different directions/coming together, northern sky for the last 3 nights, seen by 4 people.

3/12/2014 Elverta, CA, 10:30 PM, for the last 3 nights there has been 5 round lit up objects in the northerly direction of Yuba City. They look to be disc shaped or round. They move around in different formations and then come together real close then drop away from each other again. They stop in one spot for a little bit and then drop down or go upwards. They are able to stop and go back in the direction they were coming from immediately.

They have been seen in the sky by four people in our neighborhood.

My question is, does anyone know what they are?

Large extremely fast moving object over Northern California on Thursday August 14th 2008.

On the evening of Thursday August, 14th 2008 I saw and object appear in the sky to the North of my location out of the blue. It had two sets of orange lights and two sets of yellow lights, it was dark so I couldn't see the body just the lights. Normally I would have thought that this was a plane but it seemed to come out of nowhere and was traveling extremely fast at high altitude. I am a former U.S. Air Force Senior Airmen and I know planes very well; I've been an avid aeronautics fans since I was very young and can tell the difference between an F-15 Eagle and F-14 Tomcat from very far away, (Subtle differences that the uninitiated wouldn't be able to discern).

At any rate this object appeared fairly brightly at first and then within seconds faded away while traveling at a high rate of speed even though it was very high up in the sky. The array of lights was such that it basically to on a sort of rectangle shape but that is solely based on the light configuration as I could not see the body since it was dark.

I often work outside my backyard at night and I'm always looking at the sky while lying on my back doing sit ups and resting often for at least 45 minutes a night. I'm very used to seeing satellites and shooting stars as well as all sorts of aircraft. This object was either an extremely large and fast top secret U.S. military aircraft with astonishing flight characteristics or an advanced vehicle from somewhere beyond our planet. Those are the only two possibilities in my mind. I'm curious if anyone else saw it but probably not due to it's extremely short duration in view, (Around 4 seconds tops).

White starlike lights in sky that blink red and blue and move erratically over Sacramento region.

Starting on 10/11/00 My husband and I saw a light in the northwest sky from our backyard. It was a white light, resembling a really bright star. As we watched, it began to move erratically, up and down, back and forth, and was also blinking red and blue lights. As we started looking around we noticed 2 more of the same objects, one in the west sky and one directly to the north. the duration of each object varies from a few minutes to nearly an hour. They get brighter before they start to blink colors, and then they start to fade and blink out slowly. On one occasion I saw it eminate somthing like an aura of white light all around it in a large area around the object in a strobing or pulsing fashion. This sighting is ongoing!! We see them everynight after it gets dark. Somtimes they will blink out only to reappear later on in the night and in a different location. We live north of McClellan AFB and have had aircraft in the sky from there and Sacramento intl. during these sightings to compare to.

We spoke with this witness, and she seemed to be quite sincere, and quite certain that she had witnessed something unusual. We have invited her to check a star chart to establish whether the objects might have been "twinkling" stars. There was another report from northern California for this date, I believe. PD
