We were in the backyard around 6pm when my wife saw this thing flying in the sky with a red trail it soon stopped and changed to a blue

While outside in the yard we saw this thing moving through the air, first it had a red smoke trailer then paused. After the pause a white trail began as it continued on its course. Soon it turned away from us and went away from our location.

Noticed a pair of red orbs that seemingly vanish into thin air followed by single red orbs emerging over a house directly Northeast

I was walking out into my backyard at around 9:12 PM to let my dog out and do her business before bed when I noticed two bright red orbs directly northeast of my house. They vanished before I could pull my phone out and begin recording when I noticed there was a single red orb that emerged at a farther distance directly East from my frame of reference. The orb began traveling south at an extremely slow pace I thought it almost wasn't moving. Eventually, the orb was no longer visible as it was blocked by a tree when another orb seemed to appear from the northeast again only this time emerging above what seemed to be the roof of my neighbor's house. I assumed it was at least a hundred feet in the air as I doubt it materialized from the roof of their house. The orb seemed to mimic the behavior of the last orb and traveled south until I could no longer see it behind the tree when another orb emerged from above my neighbor's house, I couldn't believe what I was seeing. This repeated two more times until the sixth orb I witnessed finally vanished and no new ones emerged. I have no clue what to make of these sightings but I hope the data is helpful.

I was adjusting my tablets position on bench in my backyard for a better view of the spaceships in the sky because there were more than usual. I wasn't aware that I was recording until later when reviewing the footage. Instead of my planned hour of footage, all I got was the attached video recorded by accident. I had no idea that anything was behind me. Thinking back I do vaguely remember hearing a type of rustle sound and turning around but thats it. When looking at the tape that was probably the second beam when he was beamed back up. I live alone in a locked gated estate and rarely have visitors. No one was on the property that day and as silly as the anomaly behind me in the video looks, I still have no idea what it was. I just know it wasn't me. I know this may seem like a hoax because whatever it was that appeared behind looks so weird and ridiculous. At first I thought it looked like someone snuck up behind me and was holding up a cereal bowl or a hat and wearing gloves or something. Well thats not the case. I even checked my security system tapes to see if someone got in without me being notified. I have several cameras with facial recognition on the perimeter of the property that are always on. Nothing, not even a rabbit breached the perimeter that day. Anyway, I'm trying to keep this short. None of this really matters except to me really I guess, because what I am really reporting is the partially uncloacked UFOs and their activity in the video. I never would have noticed the distorted beams if it wasn't for what I believe to be a visitor magically appearing and disappearing right next to me. One i guess who just had to know for sure what I was holding or attempting to record. I would never have believed this. But later when re-watching the video. I noticed what seems to be a transporter beam in between me and the pine trees about 25-30ft(tops) behind me. And a second beam visably shooting left to right across the screen that makes 2 holes in the clouds directly over head possibly touching down just a couple feet behind where I was standind. I have included the original 22 second video, plus one that I adjusted in order to slow it down and zoom in. I didn't alter or add anything thats not in the original. I only changed the color palet to enhance the energy beams eminating from one of the ships.There were about a dozen partially visible vessels and some cephalopods plus other anomalies i can't confidently describe in the sky over my backyard that day besides the few noticeable in the video. This is activity is normal here for me, especially on cloudy days. But this is the very first time I've ever seen an actual beam that physically moved or distorted some pine trees. Then a second one which I believe was a return trip transport beam of some kind made distinct holes in the clouds overhead. Or opened up a type of portal hole. So in conclusion I want to say that I wouldn't see the need to report anything if it was just the ships even with a strange humanoid appearing and disappearing behind me because who would believe it anyway? I wouldn't believe it myself if it wasn't for seeing the energy beams the video. I've always dismissed any thoughts I may have had about being watched because of the unusual amount of spacecraft/Ufos over my house on daily basis. I have orbs fly directly over my house in groups 4-7 days a week. These leave in the morning around 7am or so and return just before dusk. Besides those their are many more flying over separately at different times, speeds and altitudes everyday 24/7. Its worse at night I've recently learned after purchasing a P-series Nikon on ebay that takes night photos as bright a day. About 1/2 of the orbs I notice are disguised as planes when viewing them with the naked eye, but on camera they are either one orb, a group of three orbs, or a tic-tac shaped craft. Usually white. The planes are some type of hologram. Sometimes appearing translucent exposing the orbs flying within the apparition or projected image of the plane itself. I have several hundred of pics and videos of these things.. I may just include a couple of extra images with this report so who ever you are that is reading this can see them. Look I don't know what I'm reporting this for. I don't know who you are. I'm noticably worried and nervous about doing this for all the guessable reasons. I also feel like anyone that reads this thinks I'm crazy. I never truly believed I would ever see ufos or aliens at all. I never gave it much thought. But I also never thought anyone that said to me that they had seen one was lying or crazy either. Look, I love Sci-fi space movies, doesn't everyone? My plight started on thanksgiving day about 4 years ago. I was walking my dog and I saw a group of aircraft far off in the distance with the sun reflecting off them flying in my direction spraying a ridiculous amount of chemicals(geo engineering aerosols or whatever, don't get me started). I remember very well wishing to myself that i could see what type of planes they were. I thought about running back to get my binoculars and realized I had my iPad with pretty decent zoom right in my hands. Right then, one of them broke formation. In less than a few seconds, it went from being to far away to tell what it was, to directly above my head. It was a ball of digital fire. It started sputtering. The spray shut off, and it slowed way down changing back and forth from a fireball to just a chrome ball. I thought it was going to seriously crash directly into my house a block away as it swooped down slower just maybe a couple hundred feet away and a few hundred feet up. It was still heading towards the ground. For a second it slowed down even more. I swear it might have been closer to me then that. I felt a bit panicky as i quickly looked around in the normally very active neiborhood for someone. For anyone else that sees it too. But there was no one. Maybe because it was Thanksgiving. Anyway, It was just me and it. It was surreal. It was in a way life-changing. Probably in ways I think I've yet to really understand. Then it fired back up! And yes it made noise. A strong roar like a giant blowtorch as it turned back into a strong fire ball and took off. I mean took off at mach speeds. I watched as it disappeared from sight heading straight for the top of Bear mountain which is the only thing between me and Edward's Airforce Base. But not before I was luckily able to catch one perfect photo on my Ipad.( I will include this photo).

I've heard and read that the largest deepest D.U.M.B base in the country is located up there and that it is protected by these spherical shaped spacefairing craft. The orb seemed small enough that it would be just the right size for one person in there. Possibly two. Some are different sizes. I've seen very large ones in NASA photos of earths moon and among the ruins on almost every planet and moon in our system. I'm still not sure if there is always a physical pilot in them. I feel they can be both manned or autonomous. But I remember feeling very strongly at the time that there was someone inside it, someone driving it. And that for some reason they felt me looking at them wishing to get a closer look and broke ranks specifically for that reason because somehow it heard me, it saw me, and maybe even knows me. Hey, who really knows for sure? Maybe they were just looking for a place to land or wanted to take a shortcut. It seemed to be sputtering a bit. Possibley because of a fuel problem.The fire seemed to power it up or only work when its powered up. Also the fire has to be on to ommit the smoke trails. Maybe its not chemtrails they are ruining the sky with? Maybe they just have anbad muffler really high emissions problem? Just kidding. Long story hopefully a bit shorter, as I decide in real time to give a much larger disclosure than I planned that was my first picture of a UFO. I started paying just a little more attention after that and saw my second one a couple days later. I got very clear pictures of both on my phablet. Thought about reporting but to scared. Showed a couple people(4 in total to this day)but even with the pics no one believed me or cared. Now I see multiple ufos of many different types any time I want to spend five minutes to look, but I'm tired of buying more SD cards. Also, its getting kind of old and more upsetting being the only one i know that gives a crap. People won't even look up if you ask them to regardless what for. Maybe thats why I'm writing so much.Maybe this venting is helping me relieve some stress? It is stressful not being able to find information on the things I now know. After that first encounter its like my mind opened up to accept everything I see with my own eyes and make my own evaluation. I spend a lot of time studying now. I'm currently monitoring the migration, behaviors and working habits of all the cephalopods that I now know are responsible for the making of clouds. It has only rained 1/10 of an inch here in almost 8 months but there are more cloudy days then I ever remember. All these clouds are made, atleast in part, by giant cloud emitting tentacles of almost completely invisble giant octopi and squid. I will include some images and some live video of these as their tenticles are often visable when they are busy spraying.

I'm worried they may possibly be solely responsible for the droughts plaguing many areas all over the world as they seem to eat as many clouds as they make.

Sorry this is so long for an intended quik and simple ufo report. If I did know you and trusted you, and knew what the final destination and outcome of this report was, I would possibly report more and be much more revealing and concise. I just don't know these things. I imagine not knowing what might happen if someone reports a UFO may be a common problem that has a significant effect on the amount of reports being received. I will say that my biggest concern isn't with the abundance of ufos over my house assumably associated with living close to military base. Its not knowing who's flying them, what the hell they are destroying and poisoning the sky with almost every day. Why? And these trails don't just evaporate or disappear. They ruin the sky turning day into night and beautiful blue into what looks like the worst storm you've ever seen is coming. Then the weather man says it's clear blue skies. I mean its horrible. And that's not all that spray does or becomes as it exspands either. You probably know more about that then most from reports. Rectangular Red/Green Celestial Entity/UFO

I was walking back to my car at the campsite we were staying at for a festival called Lightning in a Bottle. It was about 3:30 a.m. after the last party ended and it was completely dark out with extremely clear skies. My friend and I stopped for a moment to look up and right when we looked up we saw the rectangular object, which appeared to be 2 dimensional or we were looking at maybe the bottom of some kind of craft or celestial phenomenon. It appeared in the shape of a rectangle but was divided in half to form two triangles (please see attachment). Please not the photo attached is a graphic design that I mocked up for reference but is not an actual photo. The object had very opaque tails of light and it was divided in two colors; red and green. The object lingered for a minute and then it began to ascend rapidly and eventually disappeared. I asked my friend I was walking with what he was seeing to cross reference that I wasn't losing it and he said he was seeing the same colors and shape of object in the sky. The festival had drones which we saw moments ago, but this was much larger, faster, and made no noise. It was also at least 10,000 feet off the ground.

Bright Blue light flashed in sky, left small smoke puff. No sound.

Sitting outside in Northwest Bakersfield, clear night, just happened to look up as an intense bright blue light in the sky about 200 yards up, flashed, burned out and left a small puff of smoke behind, which quickly dissipated. Absolutely no sound before, during or after flash. Initial thought was that it may have been a strange firework, or unusual rocket. But that theory was not plausible, being as no sound proceeded or accompanied it. It may have also been witnessed by an aircraft traveling south but at incredibly high altitude.

On May 30th, my sons and a friend were outside when my friend runs in and tells me to go look at the sky as he gets his phone. When I ran outside and looked, there was multiple fast moving stars in a straight line as If they were on a invisible freeway. The moving stars were traveling in groups on 2 or 3. As we keep looking some would disappear. My son and I were able to see a faint portal or worm hole they came out of. It blended with the sky and had purple rays coming from it where the fast disappearing star traveled on. What we seen in the sky couldn’t be seen on our cameras.

I was having a late night snack as I watched the movie Pan's labyrinth in my bedroom when I noticed one of the brightest white stars I have ever seen from my window that was facing west. Naturally I walked towards my window and took a moment to admire the beauty of the bright star when it suddenly began moving erratically in a clockwise or counterclockwise direction (don't recall exactly which). I was in complete shock and awe so I slowly moved backwards to reach my phone and record the sighting but as I touched my phone it instantaneously took off North as if it was a shooting star. Even though I know I shouldn't make assumptions about something as unexplainable as this sighting it felt as though it was trying to crudely communicate with its erratic movements. I'm an engineering major so of course immediately after the sighting I went straight to google and typed in possible objects mistaken for UFOs to try and come up with a plausible explanation for what I saw like ball lighting, atmospheric turbulence, or rocket testing. Whatever I saw that night I can't explain, it seemed to not operate under classical mechanics like we do and I'm still trying to process it. In north Bakersfield east of Chester Ave there was a fuzzy blob in the sky moving straight south about 10 minutes to 9 pm. It was totally silent. It looked like it was at a couple thousand feet and moving about 200 mph. It could have been an airplane flying with no lights on or a huge mechanical bird. There was no indication of anything in that area on Flightradar.

This looked like the real triangle famous ufo thing.

It was a hazy night and I was outside in the backyard with my dog. I couldn't hardly even see the north star. I could see cygnes up on the left and while watching the sky I saw what looked like a satallite only it was way to bright. I figured it was a slow meteor or something over on the right. Then it went out, it was stationary. Then it lit up red in the shape of a triangle, like two 30,60s together in shape. It was slightly longer going down. Then it did that famous ufo thing. It juxtapositioned side to side instantaniosly. Then I went to get someone to see a real ufo. They came out and saw it too. It moved smoothly and slowly sideways and started blinking a bright white light. Eight flashes. Then the red triangle again. It moved fast sideways but smooth and silently to the east and went down lower and lower without changing the direction of it's triangle. So it started out a dim light from outer space and turned into a red light triangle which looked lik! e it might have touched down somewhere. Probably near I99 in north Bakersfield.

red/orange, bell shaped object observed over Bakersfield Ca. on the 4th of July!

I've been a school bus driver for 26 years and on the 4th of July 2020 ,I was watching the the aerial fire works (which are illegal in California) when a bell shaped object came in to view approximately 300 feet or so above the ground over Bakersfield, Ca. It hovered like it was in observance of what was going on. The object was fully illuminated in a dull red/orange color, with no flashing lights and no sound.

I grabbed my binoculars for a closer look and was in awe of what I was seeing. It then drifted toward the east then zipped out of sight, only to return once again a few seconds later and hovered for approximately 50 seconds, then again drifted toward the east and zipped out of sight again.

Strange twinkling lights very low on the horizon.

On the night in question, my friend and I went to his backyard so he could have a smoke. As we walked out, I immediately noticed a light in the northwestern sky that was very unusual. It was in a northwest direction (looking towards Buttonwillow and maybe even towards highway 41) from where we were standing, approx. 15-45 miles away. At first glance, it had an orange-like light. After a few minutes, the orange went away and what looked to be two red lights appeared in its place. There was also a white light clustered just beneath these two red lights. As we were watching this, I attempted to take my phone out to take a picture, but it suddenly disappeared from the horizon. Within a few seconds, it reappeared. It did this one or two more times before it faded out, but very, very slowly. Also, this was very low on the horizon.

Hi Last week on the 17th of December I was in my back yard trying to finish up some yard work before the darkness set in it was probably around 530-600 when I happen to look up and notice an object in the sky. I star gaze every night and know exactly where every star in the sky sits, and know what airplanes look like when they fly overhead, and this was not a normal star or an aircraft. I have a video that I recorded of the object and it is clear to see this object is not what one can call normal. It appears to be round and spinning. My husband and I both observed the object for about 5 min before it disappeared. I live in Bakersfield Ca, and this is not the first time my husband and I have witnessed an object such as this.

The event prior to this one happened in San Simeon as we were driving back from Morro Bay to our hotel on Hwy 1 an object similar in appearance popped into existence and shown very bight for about a minute and disappeared just like it appeared. Unfortunately, I was driving and could not video this event. I am not completely positive of the exact date, but it did happen in February of this year.

Strange light objects in central California

I went to check mailbox early in the morning and noticed what looked like a satellite tracking through the sky. I watched it for a few second and notice another object behind it, and then another appeared. There ended up to be 15-20 objects tracking in a straight line across the sky. They had the same appearance as a satellite in the early morning before the sun comes up, how you can only see them in a certain part of the sky because the not yet risen sun is shinning on them. They appeared in the southeast sky and and lost illumination in the northeast sky. I thought that was odd because of the orientation of sun in the early morning will usually illuminate satellites all the way into the southern sky. Anyway, I shot some video with my cell phone, but it came out real grainy of course. I tried to theorize what it possible could have been, at the time I thought maybe a meteor or some string of satellites. Meteor would be out of the question though because all! the objects were uniform in size and there was no flare like activity and they were illuminating themselves or reflecting the sunlight. The whole event lasted for about ten minutes

My mother and I have witnessed an M-shaped blinking red lights which lasted for almost 15 seconds.

This happened in Bakersfield California. I went to the bathroom and came outside and I was looking at the stars and before I saw it I was thinking about UFO’s and my mom was in the car talking on the phone and I looked up and the next thing you know I see the M shaped craft with red lights on but I didn’t see the body of the craft only the lights making the letter M it was hovering in the sky over our place the craft was the same color as the sky and I yelled out to my mom to look and she said what and then she saw it right there hovering with the lights turning on and off,it lasted almost 15 seconds.

I was on a 737 flight from San Jose, CA, (SJC) southbound to Burbank, CA (BUR). We were airborne at about 4:50-ish PM. Pilot stated right before take-off that we’d be going up to 31,000 ft and we would in the air for 43 minutes. We were over the coastal mountains following the San Andreas fault. About halfway, I could see the highway 41 and 46 split (were James Dean died). Minutes later, I saw this glowing object across the San Joaquin Valley to the southeast. It appeared to be at mountain ridge level. I guess that would be the southern end of the Sierra Nevada range. I would estimate that it was whatever the mountains are due east of Bakersfield. The object was rectangular and either glowed, or reflected the sun. It had a red color to it, like if sun was reflecting off of red colored foil. The size had to be huge. I’m looking at it from quite a distance over on the coast range side of the valley. The shape looked like one of those rectangular banners being pulled by an airplane over events. But since it appeared to be so far away, it would not be possible for it to be that big. My estimate would be a couple of miles in length. As I tried to get my phone out to record, the “glowing/reflectiveness” of it would slowly fade in or out. I tried to record it on 2 separate devices but none of them came out. After observing this for about 10 minutes, it stopped and the plane veered to the right and went over the mountains above Santa Barbara and Ventura. I checked to see if perhaps it was a forest fire and I happened to just catch the moment when the bright flames crested the mountains, but could not find such news. The horizon was hazy, but there wasn’t any sign of smoke from a fire.

Star-like two-layered triangular shaped craft flashing blue, red, and white seen flying low/slow then up and out of sight.

Note: I am an avid night sky watcher and astronomy novice; due to this fact, before publishing this report, and directly after my sighting, I attempted to debunk what I saw, before categorizing it as an unidentified object flying (UFO).

Incident: At approximately 23:30 on September 06, 2019, I witnessed a UFO flying at a very high altitude and at a rather slow speed with a NE flight path. When the flashing object first caught my eye, I thought I was seeing maybe a meteor or a falling star; it seemed star-like as it flew closer toward my location. I thought this as I know the night sky during the beginning of fall brings such occurrences. However, because I do study night skies and am aware of certain astronomical happenings, it did not seem likely a falling star or meteor.

After I realized it was no star or meteor I looked up flight plans and the flight schedule(s) of my local Meadows’ Field Airport in Bakersfield, CA, and found nothing. The local airport was closed for the evening and by the look of the craft, I knew immediately it was no plane or jet. The object had no “jet” stream, was flashing, the animals were stir-crazy, it flew very close to the ground without causing one thing on the ground to move from its force, as well as the fact that it did not make one sound as it passed above and then beyond my location. These facts coupled with the shape of the craft led me to conclude it was most likely an UFO. I could not believe what I was seeing and rubbed my eyes several times all the while gasping at the closeness and vividness of my encounter. I did not have a camera at the time, but I will describe specifically the appearance of the craft below.

Description: Initially the craft looked star like in shape with white and blue lights flashing in an almost aura-like way. As the craft stayed in continuous motion, I began to realize it was a craft of some sort with a seeming flight plan. Instead of star-like, the closer the craft got to my location; I began to see it was triangular in shape and was flashing not only white and blue but read as well. I noticed the lights were also in the shape of a triangle seemingly lining the bottom of the craft; however, it was not until it flew directly over my head and beside me that I also noticed it had what seemed like a second craft or maybe it was the top half of the object, floating above the one below with a tethering of what seemed like a strand of lights which were not flashing but pulsating. The object flew so low to the ground I was concerned as to what might happen as it was flying rather flying rather slow. When the object was in my direct path, I noticed it was dead silent! and did not fly straight as it seemed to drift from side to side sometimes in a half circle and seemingly around obstructions. Once the craft passed my line of view I watched where it would go next and it seemingly disappeared once it hit a certain point by my location. I had a feeling I was to see more that night and I did of which I have video and will submit with my second and final sighting.

Towards dusk thought I saw a plane but this object was slowly moving and then came to what appeared a stop then began moving at a slow speed again...there were no blinking lights. It appeared as tho it was moving with the sun for reflection to mislead but was definitely not an aircraft I had ever seen due to the unusual flight pattern....do airplanes fly at such a slow seeps with no identifiable markers no lights... Strange organish lights seen in Bakersfield’s night sky

I walked out onto my balcony tonight and when I looked up I seen a unusually bright star. (wasn’t moving so I figured it couldn’t be a plane). Then I looked to the left of that and noticed a more orangish looking thing that looked to be pretty close to earth. (I thought it was a drone). It was moving in different direction very quickly.

Then I happened to notice another one doing the same thing. As I kept looking, I had noticed about 5 of them oddly in a somewhat perfect circle. My mother in law said they are the satellites that the rocket launched not to long ago .

Saw an unidentifiable flying object in the sky shooting beams of light during an earthquake.

At about 4:16 p.m., I was facing south west, when I saw yet another ball of light moving around the sky. It stopped, shot out a ray of light, and then darted around the sky in impossible fashion for about 15 minutes before it went away. During the time of the sighting which would between 4:16 p.m. and 4:32 p.m., a 4.9 magnitude earthquake hit 3 miles outside of Wasco, California, at 4:22 p.m. which was approximately 20 miles from my location.

Plane trailing behind gray smoke coming from unseen object.

I saw an airplane traveling southeast towards the mountains just south of Bakersfield, CA. In front of the plane was a smoky grey area. It looked like it could be exhaust from a craft but I could not see any other aircraft in front of the plane. It looked like the plane was following this grey cloudy formation, almost looked like something was cloaked that created this grey funnel.

Neon white craft in the southern Sierra Mountain range.

Let me start this by saying that I have had a lifelong interest in the ufo subject. I am 29 years old and was born and raised in Bakersfield, CA. Despite this, I have never seen anything that I could not explain in the sky. I believe that changed on Sunday, November 15, 2015.

I was driving home on Rancheria rd. which lies about 10-15 miles east of Bakersfield. Rancheria runs north and south and will take you from east Bakersfield all the way up to the Alta Sierra area.

This particular day was a very rare and stormy day for this area. There was rain, snow and tiny hail coming down all day. I am a 4x4 enthusiast and was going up a trail called "Freeway Ridge" with a small group of friends. This trail starts at hwy. 178 and ends at Evans flat campground and traverses through the southern sierras. After a long and muddy day of 4 wheeling we finally reached the end of the trail. Rancheria road is the quickest way back to Bakersfield. Rancheria is winding road that is very dangerous, especially when wet. We were going south at an average of about 15 mph. It is 25 miles back to Bakersfield as the crow flies but it takes at least an hour to drive on any given day. Visibility was very low because of rain, fog, and mud covered vehicles. This day it took us about 1.5 hrs to travel this 25 mile road.

Now on to my sighting. About 15 miles south of Evan's Flat campground, I see a light coming down towards the mountain. It looked like a small plane at first and was approx. 4-500 yards to my left. I am a golfer, so I feel like I am a good judge of yardage. I almost panicked at first because it looked like this small plane was going to crash into the mountain to my left. It was very low to the tree line.

As I focused in on this light (difficult with mud covered windows/windshield) I could see that it was not a plane of any kind. I got a clear look at it for about 3-4 seconds. It was 2 bright neon white round balls with a thin neon white line connecting them. It did not produce any halo of light behind it. It was traveling on a horizontal plane and coming down diagonally towards the ground. Its flight is why I originally thought a plane was going to crash. After the 3-4 seconds, I could see it fly behind some trees, and then it disappeared. Let me also mention that this was 15 min. after sunset with complete cloud cover and rain. It was basically dark outside.

While this whole experience was seemingly mundane it was also very spectacular to me. I couldn't begin to come up with a logical explanation of what this thing could have been. It gave me the chills and made the hair on my body stand on end. I apologize for the wordy post but I wanted to be as thorough as possible. Strange things are definitely out there. Thank you!

Saw a craft shoot out a blue beam across the sky.

I was going outside to my car when I thought a helicopter was shining a light above me. I looked up confused because I didn't hear any sound. All of a sudden, this craft opens with a red light on the back, and a really bright light in the middle. I was facing south west. It was directly above me when it shot out this massive ray of blue light. It then disappeared in a moment, but the blue beam stayed fixed in the sky for about an hour.

We were coming home from an evening out. My husband got out at the corner from car to get mail. He started commenting and I couldn’t hear him. He finally told me to get out of car and look. I looked up and told him it was stars. A lot of beautiful bright stars! He said, “No, it’s not right.” I looked further and realized the formation in the direction was all wrong. Then I noticed along with him that they were moving.

We tried calling a news station, and the first one we called wasn’t really interested. The weather man was off for the evening. So we took some pictures and tried to get video but it was too high up to get any great footage. They are tiny dots by this point. They started to the west of us, moved overhead, off to East, then North-West, till we could no longer see them.

Our location was Calle Alisos, just West of Stockdale Hwy., and Jenkins Rd., Bakersfield, CA 93314. The objects were in a star-like formation, almost like one of the dipper’s. Bright white like stars, were moving very slowly at first. So slow, you almost missed the movement, then began moving seemingly faster, from East to West, then North-West, until out of sight.

this craft was moving very slowly it was a cloudless evening and this started as a pinhole size light and got larger and appeared as though it was behind a fog like blurry. It looked like a very slow moving light house light in a fog rotating very slowly.

It then started to shrink in size again, until it was no longer visible.

Watched three amber dots being chased by one craft followed by a second one. The three amber dots were in a triangle shape and moved across the western sky headed to the south.

The three amber dots were in a triangle shape and pulsating.

As the dots moved south one dot broke off and sped away at a remarkable speed.

They eventually left our sight as they disappeared behind a building.

Extraordinary sighting of cigar shape craft over Bakersfield.

Past three years have seen many things in the skies. Yet nothing I feel confident enough to say is a ufo. Until the morning of July 2, 2014, approximately at 3:14 am.

What I saw is something I have never seen before. It was so amazing it sent chills down my spine. As real and dramatic as my experience was to me. I was hesitant to make a report. I changed my mind because when I arrived at home and turned on the news like every other day. One of the first segments was a segment on ufo sightings. Followed by a segment about the rocket luanch the night before. I felt that the local news was trying to discredit what was clearly a dramatic sighting. That meant I was not the only one to see it. I wanted to go ahead and report my sighting and hopefully find out if there are more reports in my area.

At 3:14 a.m., I noticed a bright red Orange ball of light coming in to visibility. Much like an approaching plane that is going to soon land. Then it came to complete stop. This was extremely bright orange red light about the height that police helicopters fly in a city. Then it made what look like a right turn yet when it did this, it went from being a ball of light. To what seemed to me to be a long cigar shape with three lights in the middle...orange, red, orange. Then it slowly moved in what I can only described as a snake slithering. Then it slowly faded to a flashing light. That stayed stationary for about another 45 minutes.

strange low flying object in nights sky

FEB 19 2014

MY Husband and I were outside at about 845 pm and we saw in the sky coming from the north west to the south west it was flying about 3oo feet above us in the nights sky.

what caught our eyes was the unusual color of the craft. It was a red glowing object with white blinking lights very different from the common aircraft. much brighter.

it appeared to be the same size as a private aircraft. as it approached it was about a half mile away and as it turned to the east we noticed its body was shaped like a triangle. as it flew over us to the east we noticed it made no sound whatsoever.

it continued east for about a half mile then disappeared completely. it just blacked out.

husband was able to get a photo on his cell phone of the incoming craft. the photo looks like a large ball of red light.

Small white lights over BAKERSFIELD, CA

I was looking up at the sky at around 10:30 last night, because we’ve been having a meteor shower and I hadn’t had the time to see one yet, as we live in a pretty bright area. As I was looking up (facing south) I noticed there were four stars in a trapezoid shape. I thought it was strange because I’d never noticed that star constellation before, when all of a sudden the two “stars” on the right side of the trapezoid started to move upwards and westward, together. I called my fiancé out to look.

They had a very fluid movement to them, they moved together but sort of drifted a little more together and a little more apart at times. They moved fairly quickly for what tiny lights we could see. They looked just like dim stars but the lights pulsated instead of twinkled the way stars do.

The lights ended up stopping to the west aligned with a bright star. A few seconds after the lights stopped, the biggest meteor I have ever seen streaked across the sky, and right as it happened, the craft or crafts adjusted themselves to face where the meteor had just been.

We continued to stare at the lights for about 10 minutes, but they just hung there, very still in the sky. We decided to go inside. A half an hour went by and my curiosity got the best of me, and I looked out to see the “stars” were still there, just frozen still. Tonight the stars are no longer there, which is why we firmly believe we witnessed a UFO last night.

Two of us were sitting on a trampoline in my backyard when my dog ran to the east corner of the yard and barked once, which caught our attention. When she ran back to us, we noticed a bright object to the east in the sky. It looked like a planet, but brighter, and vertically shaped. It was moving at a constant, controlled speed, faster than a plane yet incredibly slower than a shooting star or a meteor. There were no flashing lights and no tail, only one solid white light. It was moving from south to north, first at a downward curve, before it moved closer to us which we were able to notice by its increasing size, and then once more at a downward curve moving north before it disappeared behind trees.

Bright Light In Sky Suddenly Disappears

I was in my backyard on March 5th looking at the stars. At approximately 6:15 PM, I saw what I thought was a bright star in the South East sky. After watching it for about a minute, I realized it wasn't a star... that it was moving, and heading in a North West direction. I decided to start filming it with my i-phone just in case it wasn't an airplane. After filming it for about 30 seconds or so, it just suddenly disappeared in the sky. It was clear that night, with no clouds.

I didn't think it was a plane because it didn't flash any colored lights. It was a bright light that looked similar to the ISS, but I knew it wasn't. The ISS usually comes from the other direction. I also checked the schedule to see if it was going over at that time, and it wasn't.

I'm not very good at sending videos from my phone, it always says it's too large, but I have no problem sharing the video, if we can figure out how to get it to you.

While facing north and waiting to turn left onto the corner of College and fairfax. I noticed light in the sky to my right (northeast). I told my sister.

I thought it was a plane out of control because it was moving erratically. But then we noticed that it was changing light red blue yellow and purple. It started moving in a infinity shape like a sideways number 8. It was so fast we realized it was not a normal aircraft.

Red object displaying bizarre flight patterns before shooting directly upwards into space

While smoking a cigarette, I looked up into the sky and noticed an object moving at a far higher altitude than any plane I have seen. The object, which appeared red to the best of my ability of sight, moved backwards, foward, sideways, then in a zig zag pattern. Due to recent numerous similar events, I was convinced the object was far from any flight capable object I had ever seen. When the object changed course west, it stopped near a star and the star began glowing brighter as did the flying object. The object flew east at incredible speed, immediatly stopped, and flew upwards towards space in a similar fashion as a rocket ship, directly upwards. As it was on its path towards space , the clouds behind it became thicker and formed behind the object, covering any way to continue viewing it. Throughout it's flight patterns, it consistently flew behind clouds near the shining star. I highly stress to inform this is not the first time I have seen an object mane! uver such bizarre flight patterns and shoot directly into space, seeming to somehow each time influence cloud patterns.

Good Morning Mr Davenport, I always enjoy when you are a guest on Coast 2 Coast, but I have a question. On October 4, 2012 at about 6:45 AM in Bakersfield where I live I happened to be outside in my backyard and I saw way up high a ufo coming from the LA area headed north. It looked just like a huge 'white ' PCP pipe (no protrusions like wings or nothing and flat in front and back) and it was just gliding along in a straight line. I did not hear a noise but I estimate it's size, if it was on the ground, to be as big as a 747. Well, I just stared at it until it was out of sight and then I went back in my house for a few minutes and went back outside in the backyard and here comes another one headed in the same direction, and then here comes another one headed south and they pass each other.

Well I have been outside in the mornings many time since and then about two months ago I happened to see another one coming from the west and zipping through the clouds sort of south easterly direction but it was moving many times faster than the three I saw that day. I just saw the last one for just an instant but it was the same as the others. Haven't seen any since. I was just wondering Mr Davenport, have you ever heard from anyone that said they saw that kind? Driving northbound on highway 99 outside of Bakersfield CA. Just pass 7th standard road exit. Saw bright light over freeway.

At first did not think anything. But then as I drove north on the freeway, I noticed the light did not move and remain bright. The sun was still out. Clear day no clouds. A few minutes into the drive, maybe 10 miles out of Bakersfield. I noticed the bright light was still above the freeway and at that time I asked my son, who was in the passenger seat if he saw the bright light. He stated he had been looking at it for some time now and notice it had not moved. My younger son who was in the back seat sat forward to see and stated that the light appeared to be hovering over the freeway 99. We kept looking at the bright light and then as we got closed, noticed now two bright lights and still hovering. At that point my sons said what is it. It is not a plane or helicopter. It is too low and it is not moving. It appear to be ho! vering over a pass. I started to slow down to 50 miles and kept looking at the light and notice the cars behind me also slowed down. As I drove near the upcoming pass,it appeared to be right above the freeway pass. I notice the object was a dull grey with two bright lights and no sound. My son tried to get a photo with his phone but was not able. I slowed down to see the object which now was on my right side and hovering over an orchard off the freeway just before the exit. We were maybe 8 minutes from the Lerdo exit towards Shafter. We tried to see what it was. We exited and looked towards my right side above the trees. As we looked back, it was gone. No noise. It hovered for a good 12 minutes over the freeway. First one big white bright light and then two bright lights, It looked like boom-a-rang shape. Grey in color with bright lights on the ends. We could not identify the object. It was not an airplane. Do not believe an airplane can stay in one spot for t! hat long. Dark grey object hovering a few feet above freeway 9! 9.

WItnessed three red-orange lights on the west side of Bakersfield (looking west from Allen/Stockdale). Lights were originally in rotating triangle, then one of the three lights moved south. used telescope bright flashing light that was stationary for at least 3 hours. Light changed color from red, to blue, to orange, to white, with bursts of slow to fast flashes. No sound. Got telescope and zoomed in really strange just a very intense light that changed colors and varied in flash speeds. Looked as if the single light was part of a larger object. Appeared to be out over towards Elk Hills. Observed from home on the west side, just outside of Bakersfield.

Tonight,01/01/2012 approximately 12.10 am.My friend and i were watching fireworks go off in our neighborhood as it is New years eve,when i noticed 2 orange fireball's in the eastern sky over Bakersfield,CA. Orange Lights Over Bakersfield California

On the night of July 30th, 2011, at approximately 10:30 PM, my son had gone out to the backyard. He came back in right away, and told me to hurry and come outside.

I hurried out, and he pointed to the sky and there, in the West, was a long line of round, orange lights heading straight toward us. There had to be at least a dozen to 20 of them. They were in rows of 2-4 each. I told my son to run and get his dad, because he's a skeptic, and he'd never believe it if he didn't see it for himself. He came out and witnessed it too.

It was exciting, yet scary too, because my first thought was we were being attacked, and those were missiles. But as they got closer, I could see that they weren't missiles...they were round objects, that moved slowly in formation...all at the same pace, and they never moved out of that formation. All of them were the same size.

There was absolutely no sound coming from them, and no flickering lights as they passed over us. The sky was clear, with the exception of one small whispy cloud over the house next door. Every one of those objects went into the cloud, and never came out. There were openings in that small cloud, and we didn't see any of the objects pass by any of those openings.

When it was over, I tried to find out if anyone reported the sighting, but only one news station answered, and she said they were short handed and nobody reported it. I went back outside to check the sky, and the cloud was gone as well. It was very frustrating! I was kicking myself for not running into the house and grabbing my cell phone to try to film it. I was afraid if I went to look for my phone, I'd miss the event. I don't know how high up the cloud was, or how low the objects were, but those objects had to be really big if that cloud was very high up, because they weren't small dots in the sky. They were a good size, and appeared to be close.

A boomerang hovers in the sky over Bakersfield

On my way to college on Dec. 1, 2010 at approx. 5:30 p.m., off the 204 freeway between Buck Owen’s Blvd. and F Street we saw a boomerang shaped object with six round very bright lights under it. It hovered the entire time we were traveling the freeway about four minutes.

My wife dropped me off at the college and proceeded to the annual AIDS vigil downtown, perhaps three to four miles from where we originally saw the space craft. During the ceremony she noticed it glide by and disappear.

We both found it to be quite strange and different from anything we had ever seen before. We looked in the paper and watched the local news to see if there were any references to it. There was nothing mentioned that we could find. Maybe if we placed an article in the paper we would bring forth more witnesses that observed this phenomenon in the sky.

I am a bookkeeper and college student and my wife is an educational instructor, we are both in our forties.

Me and my friends saw a big orange ball descend from the sky and release 3 small orange balls onto earth, and it went back up and away.

This is my 2nd UFO sighting. I was with my boyfriend and my best friend one night, and we were being loud in my parents house, so we got in my car, and drove a couple of streets away to a remote street. I parked, turned off the car and started my iPod. Maybe 4 minutes go by and we all see this big orange ball of dim light float slowly down from the sky. It was round. When it stopped very close, it released an identical ball, only smaller, and it floated off to the right (N), then a second to the left (S), and finally a third, straight below, and it seemed to not know where it was going. It went to the right, left, right, then went straight down to earth.

I freaked out thinking it would find us or it was a bomb. Then the big ball went slowly back up into the sky until it disappeared.

I started the car and left. We all saw it. We all want to know what it was.

UFO FLYING OVER RACEWAY IN CA

Ok...I'm not an expert at all but I took this video back on March 27th 2010 at Famoso Raceway near Bakersfield CA.. It's footage of a dragster racing at 236 MPH. As fast as that is, that isn't the interesting thing about this video. What is interesting is at the end of the video is what appears to be a UFO flying very fast (perhaps faster than the human eye can see)into the upper right hand side of the frame. I didn't notice this until a few months ago when I was reviewing this footage. If you slow it down you can see what appears to be some kind of glowing thrust. It's at the end of the video about 28 seconds into it. Had I noticed this at the time I took the footage I would've kept the camera rolling. Please let me know what you think. I apologize for the F-bomb that I made just before the footage end. It was aimed at just how fast this car was going and not at the UFO that I didn't know was there until now. I'm also sorry that the advertisements pop in ju! st about at the very end and make it so that you can't view the very end. I don't know how to fix it so that doesn't happen.

strange brightwhite w/red luminous " ufo " vanished right before me and leave's the strangest smoke ....... I've ever seen .

It was a very clear and cold January latenight . When i'd stepped out to close my gate someone had left open . And just as i was about to go back inside . I'd noticed a very bright white light low in the western night sky . At first , I'd thought it was just a jet . But with my mini binocular i just happen to have in the pocket of my fleece pullover . I soon seen , it was no jet plane . This craft was circular in shape . Perhaps 30-40 ft. around with a Garnet Red luminous ring from top to bottom around the craft . It looked to be part of the craft which was heading my way . Just then i'd called out to a friend of my . Who was inside my house to come check this out . As he stepped out to see what was up , I just handed him my mini binocular's and said , " check it out " . We both got a good close look at the craft heading from west to east . As we stood watching ...... the craft began to slow then stopped . A plume of smoke cloa! ked the craft ...... perhaps , so was not too see it ? Once the craft began to moving eastward for a moment , then stopped again . Once again it cloaked itself w/ a plume of smoke . Both time's the plume of smoke was the same shape as the craft itself . As we stood passing the binoculars back and forth trying to determine just what is we're looking at . The craft began to move ( actually float ) passing right thru the plume of smoke that cloaked east bound . It didn't get far ...... before it made a sharp righthand . Still floating and now heading south ........ Vanished . And was gone , only the star's in the clear cold nightsky were visible . Where the craft had just been . But the strangest thing other the craft itself . Was those 2-plume's of what I thought to be smoke . They both began stretching out first flat and then apart . To the point of a fine Cat Whisker . I can't quite recall ever seeing smoke as I know it . Act in this manner .....! .. I know what is wasn't that cold January night ...... I sa! w . Per haps those of you who take from my UFO Report and other's . Can come up with ....... Just what it was , I saw .

Two Crafts dancing in the sky!

I was walking for a store and was not paying any attention to the sky. something caught my eye. so i look to the east and i see this light in the sky.. it was not moving or making any sounds. thought it may of been a jet but there was no sound! after a few seconds it started to fly in a figure eight pattern and then another light fell into the same flight path but could not keep up with the bigger craft! the first was a very bright light in the sky that would change between an led type light to standard bulb. but the other that was trying to keep up with it was a fresh blue kind of light! they kinda danced in the sky for about a min before disappearing out of my line of sight.

My sighting was in Bakersfield, California. I was leaving work late one night with my girlfriend (at the time) and another friend—we worked in a performance theater, and had finished a show. It was around ten at night.

As we were preparing to get into the car, I happened to be facing the North-Western sky. My girlfriend also had a general view of that sector, but the other friend was distracted and looking elsewhere. The sighting lasted no more than a second.

Very suddenly, I see a light zoom over us in a north-westerly heading (I couldn’t discern any sense of a body—just a light as if from an afterburner). I judged its distance from its trajectory: it wasn’t travelling “across the sky” but very perceptibly forward. Also, the size of the light subtended the same amount of area as, say, a golf ball held at arm’s length (as it passed overhead). These observations together led me to believe that it was relatively close to the ground-at least within 500 - 1000 feet. That’s just the sense that I have, judging by how it moved across my field of view. I didn’t feel like it was very far above us (not as far as a helicopter would be, for example).

Its speed seemed notable: it appeared and disappeared within less than a second, which, given I had a clear line of sight for quite a distance, is remarkable.

The color of the light (or afterburner) was also notable: I remember it being not orange but a pale blue/green.

Perhaps the most notable aspect of this sighting was the sound—or lack of it. As it passed over us, I heard no sound. Not an engine, not even the sound of a body moving quickly through the air. Even a commercial airliner can be heard from the ground at some heights. Judging how close this seemed from its trajectory, I was so surprised that there was nothing. The night was as silent as before it appeared.

After the quick moment, I exclaimed to my friends. As hinted earlier, my girlfriend had also seen “something”, though my other friend had not been looking at the sky (and without a sound, there was no reason to look up). My girlfriend didn’t know what to think of what she had seen—she would only ever say that, sure, she had seen something—I think she was less willing to attribute the sighting to anything and more comfortable with shrugging her shoulders.

But I was surely confident that it was something extraordinary. It may well have been just an advanced aircraft tested by the military, but it was certainly something you wouldn’t reckon you’d ever see.

I-5 UFO Sighting appox 40 miles north of Bakersfield

My parents and I were driving north on Highway 5 and saw what seemed to be an extremely low flying aircraft. It was so low to the overpass we were approaching that it looked like it was going to land there. I could not make out any distinct shape of the craft. I thought it was a plane at first because of blinking white and red lights like those normally seen on a plane, but the way it was moving seemed inconsistent the capabilities of a normal airplane. It seemed to disappear for a moment then we saw it over the fields to our right. The fields were full of trees (what I assume were nut trees) of similar shape and size. Suddenly the field lit up and it seemed that the craft was down amongst the trees. It got dark again and we then saw the craft behind us. It circled around again to the overpass, and although most of the time the craft was dark, there were three lights that turned on for a few moments and then were extinguished. I continued to watch for the craft out the rear car window....saw the blinking lights for about 30 seconds then got out of range. In hindsight, we should have stopped the car for a better look, but we were on a long drive from Phoenix and anxious to get home. We did not hear any sound coming from the craft, however our car windows were rolled up.

Neon green and red lights seen "Danicing" in the Eastern Bakersfield skies

At approximately 3:35AM as I was on my way home from work I seen in the Eastern Direction a Green Neon light that seemed to be dancing as I would describe it, in the sky towards what is known as the Tehachapi Mountains. Although I do not believe it was that far. The Neon green light sometimes went to red very briefly but at some points the neon green color would be brighter than other times. Then the light would disappear for a moment. From the movement of it did not seem like a plane or a flare or anything of that sort. It just seemed to “dance” up and down swaying side to side. That is the only way I know how to describe it. I watched it for about 4 minutes after noticing it then I drove off to get home.

One night, at 3am, I witnessed a disc hovering in the sky, and a giant flash erupted and it sped, disappeared at the speed of light.

I moved back into my parents house in SW Bakersfield because my boyfriend's (at the time) mother did not like me, and living in a tiny back house with them was horrible.

On a summer night in 2008, my boyfriend called me at around 2:30 am crying and asking me to please pick him up because his mother was kicking him out of the house, again. I told him I would be right there. I was not asleep, nor was I sleepy. I am usually awake until 3-4 am any ways (I am a nocturnal person).

I parked my car in the next alley, ran to their alley, and crept to their window to spy. I saw nothing, but could hear them loud and clear arguing, again. I noticed my boyfriend's sister's car parked there, and I hated her, so I let the air out of her rear tires. I got bored waiting for them to finish arguing, so I out of the alley, and around to the front house. I stood on the very right side of the front chain link fence, and I could kind of see through to the back yard's back house's tiny kitchen window. I got frustrated that I was not able to successfully spy. So I got off the fence and, in boredom, looked up at the night sky. And I saw a UFO floating perfectly in the sky! It wasn't too close and not at all far away. It was about the altitude that a police helicopter would be at if it were searching for a suspect, that should give you an idea. The UFO was metallic silver, shaped like a disc but it had a flat bottom. There were no windows, lines, bolts, it was clean. I saw it immediately, and I remember saying "OOh myy GOD!" And it turned on: two red lights appeared on the tail, and a giant flash appeared in front of it, and the UFO immediately went through the flash at the speed of light. All that was left was two red lines of disappearing light left over from the speed.

They faded away, and I was in shock for maybe several seconds, and I started freaking out, in a good way, jumping and running around yelling "OH MY GOD OH MY GOD!" And I looked around to see if anyone else was around to see it. No one was.

I looked at my cell phone and it was 3:15 am, and no one else saw it because everyone was asleep. I will never forget it.

Later on, maybe a year later, two other people and I saw 4 UFOS. I will submit another report for that.

UFO sighting in Bakersfield

My friend called me from work and said there was a ufo where she is at. She said it was a circle with bright lights. She said it didn't look like any kind of plane.

Well it was started going over toward this gas station but by the mountain . People were stoping and taking picture of this ufo. The ufo was staying in that same spot for ten minutes and it was very low.

A truck driver told my friend that there were 5 more in town. Then the army went to the gas station and started taking peoples phone away from them.

My friend then told me to go outside and see if I can see anything. So I went outside and I thought it was a plane at first but the lights were not blinking and it starting coming down closer and I can tell it was a circle with lights all the way around it.

I went inside to tell some family members to come check this out. And they couldn't believe what they were seeing. Then the ufo went higher up in the sky and stayed up there for about 30 minutes to an hour then just left.

My friend was also telling me it looked like it was landing behind the mountain and the army people and some men is black suites were asking her if there was away up to the mountains this way and she said yes.

Triangle craft, 3 corner lights one center. Flew straight course but made partial spines on its axis left and right.

Our Power was out do to late payment that night ( 9-18-07, 11:25 PST ). I was alone in the back patio, reclining in a chair listening to my headphones and enjoying the cool night air, there was not much else to do.

First I will tell you that I am very familiar with the night sky and can tell the difference between planets, stars satellites and different aircraft. I have been through Private pilot and Civil Air Patrol ground schools and have had over 60 or so flight hours in private pilot training, and familiar with what lights aircraft should and are required to be equipped with and what each lights function and meaning are etc.

On the night of my sighting the sky was clear and I was sitting back looking up at the stars while enjoying my radio station. I was facing up and out to the east. I noticed some movement in the corner of my left eye, I faced that way and saw what looked like and moved like 4 bright white satellites moving in perfect formation across the sky at a speed a little faster than satellites move across the sky. The formation was that of a perfect triangle with the fourth light dead center. All the lights (3 points and 1 center) were identical in size, color ( white with slightest hint of blue) and brightness. And all about 50% brighter than the brightest stars out that night.

As I have no way of knowing the actual size of the craft as there was nothing to reference it off of, I cant make an estimate on the altitude or speed. But I got the since it was pretty high and cruzing at a good speed, If I put my hand up to the sky the object would be equivalent in length as the width of 1 1/2 fingers.

The object had only these lights and they stayed solid. No red/green wing tip position lights, anti collision or any other for that matter.

The object moved in a straight line to the south east crossing my view of the sky at an angle. I was very confused as to what it could be, I took out my headphones ( volume was not high so I had no ringing in ears from radio station) and listened for sounds of engines which I should have been able to hear if it was a passenger jet, Prop plane or rotocraft at their perspective heights based on the size of the object as it appeared, but heard nothing, this is also a very quiet neighborhood especially at night.

I still figured for a moment that just maybe, it could be a newly deployed satellite. I have seen on the NASA channel where a satellite would be deployed by being released in a case where the case comes apart and the parts drift apart leaving the satellite.

But I was convinced it was not some kind of conventional aircraft or space junk moving in formation when after about 15 to 20 seconds the craft rotated approximate 90 degrees to the right on its axis ( the center light ) it took about 3-4 seconds to make this smooth rotation. At that point it stopped rotating and was still flying in the exact same line of travel and speed but now sideways. (it was pointy side forward to begin with) Facing almost south west but traveling on to the south east.

It continued on for about 10 seconds in this configuration then just like it did before it now rotated on its axis left back to its original configuration now facing its line of travel.

I was really excited to see this because I knew for sure it was not any satellite(S) or aircraft I have ever seen. I was thinking this is either some out of this world craft (cool) or something brand new that we had (also cool), and if it is something we have It has to be using some new kind of propulsion to be able to rotate and fly sideways so smoothly like that.

It continued on to the south east until it was out of site. Both of the crafts rotations were the same speed (about 3-4 seconds) and smooth, never seeming to have an effect on its straight line of travel or speed.

The best I can compare it to would be a tank moving down the highway and the turret being able to swivel left and right without effecting the speed or course of the vehicle. Only what I saw was what appeared to be an entire aircraft do the same.

In my aircraft (flight schools aircraft I use for training) I can do what is called a crab which is where you give full left or right rudder and opposite aileron to put the aircraft in a slightly sideways configuration, but only about 10-20 degrees or so and at the expense of speed, it creates major drag and is used sometimes to drastically slow the aircraft, usually for a landing where you may be coming in a little high and or fast, it allows you to loose some altitude and speed quickly by using the body of the aircraft it self to create a lot of drag.

I know of no aircraft that can put itself in a sideways configuration from forward movement at high speed without breaking apart, moving off course, loosing speed etc. Some aircraft can hover and fly sideways at very slow speeds and some rotocraft but not at high speeds in the hundreds of miles per hour or faster.

Because of the amount of space the craft took up which was not a lot, like I said about 1 and a half finger width and limited number of stars out at night in our sky around here (near by city lights drown out all but the brighter stars) I did not get a chance to see it cross over a stationary star to see if it would block it out, I did watch for that but it did not cross any stars in its line of flight from my point of view. This may have helped rule out separate objects doing formation ( very impressive Formation ) flying but I really got the since it was a single solid object.

Also the lights on the craft all maintained their brightness during the entire sighting across the sky. Satellites I see will usually blink or fade, these lights did not.

I do not know for sure what I saw that night but It was diffidently making deliberate movements making me believe it was controlled by something or someone.

Also for reference the crafts line of travel was south east with the line taking it over or just slightly north of BFL Meadows Field, rather than right over the city of Bakersfield. If anything it would have skirted the area of Bakersfield on its northern edge.

I have included a picture I made on a paint program showing the crafts appearance, line of travel and movements. What I actually seen looked a bit more distant than it appears in the picture. Consider it a somewhat zoomed in look at exactly what I had seen. Also the positions in the sky where the craft changed its configuration was much more distant from each other than what you see in the picture, it was about 10 seconds between the left and right rotations and the craft was seen for a total of about 50 seconds to 1 minute which covered the entire line of sight of sky I could see which was quite a bit.

I have 20/16 vision, seen object on clear cool night with eyes outside, not through any mediums like screen, window, glasses etc.
