Clear sky, bright moonlight, silent dark orb 25 ft away moving very fast.

Because of the snow and clear sky combined with the moonlight we had very good visibility. There are no sound sources up there, the nature and snow muted every ambient noise. A silent orb flew approx 15ft above the ground and at a distance of 21 ft above us. It was about as fast as a diving hawk and disappeared +/- 3Secs after it was observed. This occured after short meditation. Observing is part of our job.

My dog was there & he sort of stared at it for awhile, but was otherwise fine, no barking or nothing. (*The only thing about my dogs reaction that sticks out to me is that he barks at EVERYTHING, planes, birds, cars, for no reason; so seeing him stare at something intently but be silent was kind of uncomfortable).

I've never seen or looked into UFO's or stuff like that, but it was really weird & with the sightings in 1965 it felt like it was worth looking into, if I'm wrong (probably am) I'm sorry.

It was not translucent like a cloud, but also not perfectly solid looking. More ovalish than round…and it literally disappeared in front of my eyes. Weirdest thing ever. Given tonight's news I felt I should report.

I was driving home and saw this weird pink oval with two more right behind it.

I was driving home and around 10:50 pm, I saw this weird pink light in the sky on the shape of an oval. With two smaller ones lined up right behind it. A few seconds past and I couldn't see it anymore. After a few more minutes of driving I saw it again but it was just one with a little dome on top. It also looked to have depth to it because I saw a cloud blocking a little bit of it. I've looked all over online for an explanation on a pink moon but the date doesn't line up with a blood moon which also tends to be more red. So I'm not sure if it was one craft or three. I just know I counted three different shaped the first time. I was driving at the time and by the time I was at a red light, I couldn't find it. By the time I got home, I couldn't find it again either after seeing just the one craft.

Exeter, Exeter Township, Reading, PA around 6:00 PM/ET, I noticed a bright yellow sphere/orb in the sky. It just stayed there, not moving. I saw airplanes fly over and under it and it was bigger than them. I asked my son-in-law to come outside and look at it and he thought it was strange.

It was too big to be a drone or weather balloon. It hovered in the sky for about 40 minutes and disappeared after I took pictures of it with my cell phone.

This is the second time I’ve seen something similar to this in the area. My last report was on 10/05/19 in Mount Penn which was posted on this site. I have pictures of that sighting as well. Also interesting to note was there were a bunch of sightings on 10/05/19 in the area surrounding Mount Penn with photos and a video of this object.

I used an ultraviolet filter on the 12/19 photograph and the outline faintly resembles the shape of the picture I took on 10/05/19. I am a paralegal and work in the law department for a large insurance company. I don’t have any explanation for these things but I find it fascinating.

Object spotted hovering East/Northeast of route 101 while traveling between Exeter and Epping.

I was traveling East on Route 101 between Exeter and Epping when I noticed what I believed to be a plane traveling East/Northeast, as if it were taking off. What seemed odd, was that there were no vapor trails and the object was not visibly getting smaller, as if it were traveling away from me.

I tried to point out the object to a passenger, who in return said “what object”. When I looked again, the object spotted seemed to be oblong and/or oval and stationary. The portion of the object facing me, seemed to “glow” is if reflecting the sun. However, the sun was setting on the opposite side of the object, from my perspective. The passenger asked again “what object”, as I pointed in the direction of the sky where the object was clearly visible to me, no clouds, and the passenger response was “what object”. As I tried again to explain where in the sky the object was, I looked at my passenger, I looked back towards the object, and the object was gone. I have no explanation for the objects disappearance, I did not look away long enough for a plane to turn (left, right or straight up) to leave my viewpoint of the sky. This last sentence was the hardest to explain, it was gone? To explain a little further, when I first noticed the object, it looked as if I had a small chip and/or crack on my windshield. I reached to the windshield to determine if it were a small crack, a reflection, or something in the background (sky). After reviewing the windshield and noticing that no crack existed, I asked a passenger “is that a plane”? The whole experience lasted about three minutes. I was driving, traveling about 70 mph, sun was in front of me.

8 red burning orbs from south to north, below the cloud cover.

First red orb spotted at 21:30, 10/06/2018 due south, rising at a speed about twice that of an air craft. Second orb became visible about a minute later. Both orbs remained visible as they flew directly overhead, heading north and disappeared into the north horizon. No sound was noticeable and remained in view 4-5 minutes. Neither of the original two had much of a trail, but one had visible break off like a flare that burned up within a second or two. Less than a minute after the first two disappeared, the third and the fourth came into view from the same southern location. One was larger than the first ones and had a noticeable tail to it. These two also released items that quickly burned up.

There was complete overcast with no visible stars or a moon, so these were very low in our atmosphere. In total, there were 8 and they spread out into longer intervals between. Eventually only one in view at a time. The whole event lasted about 40 minutes. Some never made it to the far horizon, but at least 3/4 of the way. The ones that didn’t flickered out without any debris.

There were four of us that witnessed this and none of us have seen anything like it.

I saw this aircraft out my skylight window. It was flying low, shaped like a pyramid or triangle. I was looking at the bottom of the aircraft which was outlined in orange and white lights.

I live on a flight pattern for Bangor International Airport which is 25 miles away. My immediate thoughts were it was a military fighter jet of some kind.

But I did not see any green or red lights and there was no "jet" sound, even five minutes after it passed.

So I am not sure what it was that I saw. A UFO or some sort of military jet.

Driving home from work I see a bright white light far ahead in the sky. At first I thought it was just a plane, but as I approached I realized it was not moving, it was just sitting there.

Eventually, I got close enough to look up and see it clearly because it was directly above the lane that I was driving in. It was facing west, while I was heading east.

On my left side (it's right side), there was a red light and on my left (it's right) there was a green light. And the white light that had been visible to me for about ten minutes before I could see it more clearly was almost at the nose of the craft.

After I had driven under it, I kept looking in my rear view mirrors to see if I could see the bright light again but I couldn't see anything after that.

Triangular craft caught on video.

I was outside having a smoke, when I noticed a very bright, pulsating light in the sky that did not resemble any aircraft I've ever seen. It moved quickly across the sky, its light changing in intensity, from very bright to almost unseeable.

I managed to capture it on video with the camera on my phone. When it went behind my house I stopped the tape. I hadn't heard any noises but as soon as I put down the phone, I heard what sounded like a quiet plane. I saw the light in the sky, which had become three separate lights in a triangular form, flying back over my house and was able to start videoing again. I remember feeling afraid but unable to speak, I watched the lights turn from white, to red, to green, purple, back to white again faster than my mind could comprehend. Once the information was processed, my first instinct was to run inside and alert my husband. He asked me what I was doing out there for so long, even though the tapes only totaled two and a hal! f minutes. He told me it had to be a plane, even after watching my videos, and for months I decided to forget about the incident. I had even posted them to my Facebook and YouTube asking anyone if they knew what kind of aircraft this was. I was met with no replies, just disinterested silence. I didn't even think about it until I went to the dentist six months later. There was a metallic object in the root of my molar that had never been brought to my attention on X-rays before. I made a joke to my dentist about it being an alien implant, but he quickly dismissed me saying it was probably metal from a filling I had as a child, even though I explained to him that my mother made sure I had the non metallic fillings. He didn't seem very concerned, but I was because sometimes that tooth randomly throbs with pain. I know some would question why it took me so long to formally report what I saw, my answer is I did not know who would even care about it. I'm not some hoaxster who is capable of using technology to fake this, I'm just a normal, e! veryday person with a family and store clerk job.

The second video of the craft flying over my head is the most amazing, especially when you zoom in on the object, play the tape frame by frame, and apply a filter that really makes its features stand out against the night sky. I have some screenshots where there appears to be some sort of window. So I will say the same thing I posted with the videos all those months ago, if anyone could tell me what this is, I would really appreciate it!

Large Bright green rectangular light moves north then immediately south then dissappears.

Laying in bed. I notice a large bright green light that suddenly appeared moving north, shining in the sky so bright green that it shined through my closed blinds. As it moved across the horizon I could see it glow through each individual window blind. A silent large solid bright green light slowly moving. I immediately ran downstairs to look out the window in the direction it was traveling. upon looking out the window I got a better view of it as it suddenly was moving in a south direction. It moved across the sky slowly and silent. It looked like a bright green rectangular shaped light. When it moved out my view I went to a window 2 seconds way and it was then completely gone. I went out side right after and saw nothing in the sky in either direction.

2 cylindrical flying craft, with no sound and no contrails.

Tonight, while planting cukes, my son says, "Hey look, Dad! What is that bright light in the sky?" No sound, and no contrail... Then he said, "Hey look, there's another one!"

I sent him running for the camera and caught a few pictures of the second one. Not long after that, a jet (with a contrail) could be seen chasing after them.

The objects were moving East NorthEast, right at sunset set so there may have been some distortion with the sun's reflection. However, upon zooming in with my 16 megapixel camera, there was no glare. The sun was just below the horizon behind me when I took the pictures. There were no clouds in the sky where these object passed by. The duration was only about 5 minutes.

The object must have been a long ways up as the image pixels start to distort the object some when really zoomed in. Before the image gets too distorted, the object's body can be described as horizontally cylindrical and gray metallic color. There are no strobe lights as most aircraft have. The tail section has a bulge on the upper side and the tail wings are attached to the side and top of the cylinder body, like a missile.

There is a strange black object on the underside. In one picture, the black object is under the nose, while in another, the black object is under the mid section. It is very hard to say that the object has wings, but there is a different coloration at the mid section of the object. While the rear of the object is in generally good focus so you might say it has tail wings, It is strange that the objects wings at the mid point of the craft are not clear.

5 orange circles in night sky.

Went on upper deck to smoke and looked up. At first thought it was a plane having trouble cause it was going slow and it was orange. But then it went behind a tree and I thought I lost it, then it appeared back on same side of tree.

After that there was three or four more so I ran in house and woke up my 8 year old son. We went back out and he confirmed I wasn't nuts.

They disappeared a moment later and we went in, still fresh on my mind I kept looking out windows and within a minute they were back, 2 together doing slow moves, and the other three in a perfect line diagonal from other two.

Then they all moved in same diagonal direction as other moving to the right and up.

Then vanished never saw anything like that before, still in shock!!!

Two adjacent red lights hovering and slowly rising and descending over Fort Rock Farm in Exeter NH

Three adults and one teen were at the fireworks in Exeter, tonight (I was one of the adults). The fireworks were over the river. We were by the car parked across the street from the river, in front of Fort Rock Farm. Fort Rock Farm was behind us, as we were facing the river. Fort Rock Farm has been abandoned for years, without any lights on at all tonight.

One of the adults, my son, pointed behind me and said, "What's THAT?" The other three of us turned completely around and looked. Hovering over the back of the field of Fort Rock Farm, were two red lights positioned opposite one another, like car headlights, but closer together. The lights hovered up high (possibly rising a bit) and then the lights began to very slowly descend until they disappeared. They made no sound at all. It was too dark to see anything.

Although there are R. R. tracks behind the farm, there was no train going by. There was no reflection of any fireworks. I kept checking back, when the fireworks were going off, and there was no reflection at all behind us of the fireworks.

During the event, I had a camera in my hand, but was so shocked by what I was seeing and by trying to make sense of it, that I didn't think to film or take photos until the event was over. We all confirmed with one another what we had seen.

The two very young children with us had not turned around and didn't notice anything.

No alcohol or any substance of any kind was consumed by any of us that day, and my son and I and the teen never drink any alcohol or consume substances at all (aside from an asthma inhaler).

Tiny white ufos flying among the stars

Every clear night as I star gaze I see tiny, very tiny white lights that travel across the night sky. They travel at unbelievable speeds.....and then stop.....and reverse direction or continue on the observed trajectory. They are tiny.....but observable as though they are flying among the stars/planets/constellations but appear to be of a lower altitude.

As a backyard star gazer, I am aware of satellites and aircraft. These tiny white "lights" are everywhere yet seem to be unnoticed by conventional aircraft such as planes and helicopters. I believe they are thousands of feet above conventional aircraft, but one would assume that radar or pilots would be aware of them.

These tiny bright "flying" objects came to my attention about three years ago.....and, the only other "validation" I have had is a man named "LARRY" who called into Coast to Coast on open lines on Friday, April 12th or 19th. He was attempting to describe this same sighting. Obviously, Noory couldn't explain what "Larry" was seeing....but I was IMMEDIATELY shocked to listen to a person who described EXACTLY WHAT I SEE in my own backyard on dark nights.

Please, somebody, tell me you are seeing these small white "lights" flying all over the place performing maneuvers that modern day aircraft is incapable of doing.....and, they also STOP.....JUST STOP......as though they are attempting to imitate being a star.......

These nightly observances are so compelling that they have consumed me lately. I truly would appreciate some validation by others who look intently into the night sky and see tiny white dots doing crazy maneuvers.

Two diamond shaped objects flying just above tree line, odd movement and light color

Driving on route 165 I noticed a diamond shaped aircraft flying overhead about 150 feet above the tree line. I first thought it was a helicopter flying low, because it was flying at about the same speed one would be flying, but then realized the shape of the lights on the craft didn't match and it was flying in a strange fast to slow pace. The lights were blinking whitish yellow and had one red blinking light at what seemed to be the tail of the craft. I was trying to think logically and and tried to convince myself it was some strange aircraft I had never seen until a second aircraft flew directly overhead. This one was about 2-3 times the size of the first and seemed to be flying slightly lower than the first and had 5 or more light blue blinking lights. It flew at about the same speed and disappeared over the tree line where I could no longer see it. They were both heading south.

2 Fighter Jets in Persuit of Fast moving formation of three blinking white lights

At approximately 8:00 pm 10/29/12 my mother and I began observing three white blinking lights moving in a line formation starting at 230 degrees SSW at a 60 degree angle in the sky, And Ended 180 degrees SSW at a 20 degrees angle in the sky. The Blinking lights were on a flight path to the south and over the city of Tulare when first observed. The objects Continued to the south while the top object in the formation of three lights , Began to move forward of the other two with increasing speed while the other two began to spread out. About 4 minutes into our observation of this event the objects where heading into the distance to the south and fading away when suddenly we saw jet after burners from a fighter jet moving from the NNE to the SSW attempting to catch up to the objects. After we saw the after burners from the fighter jet in pursuit, The objects where fading out into the distance south . Then my mother noticed a second after burner flash from the direction Lemoore AFB heading south as well.

A fleet of UFO's in Exeter PA

On August 6th, I was sitting on my friends balcony and we saw a huge white light floating in the air, staying completely still with no sound. It rose up into the sky about twenty feet higher than where it had originated. Then smaller ships seemed to come out of the white ship. They had a skinny metallic center with bright red lights on each side. They started to disperse while the white light stayed in the center. We eventually lost sight of the smaller crafts. Then out of nowhere two of the smaller craft flew into sight, and they effortlessly glided one over the other, both going in two different directions. Planes or helicopters don’t fly that close to each other, or that close to the ground. Eventually when they went out of sight the original white ship started to float upwards until we lost sight of it. The entire time none of the ships made any sound. My friend and I saw ufos before but we never saw an entire fleet. We believe that the white ship was here to drop off the smaller ships to research our world, while it went back to wherever it came from.

Strange slow-moving red lights in the Northern sky at Exeter, NH at 22:00 hours on August 4, 2012.

We saw slow-moving red/orange lights going from right to left in an uneven formation in the Northern sky. They appeared to float, and there was no noise. They went to one area in the sky, then appeared to turn and wink out.

Notified local authorities who said, "There is nothing to worry about."

Then called state authorities who listened to the description and number, and their comment was "Tthis is not NOTHING. More people should have seen this."

This is the SECOND time we have witnessed this phenomenon, with about the same responses.

June 20, 2012, Exeter, NH - slowly-moving red/orange lights traveling in a wavering line across the evening sky, then fading away.

My husband and I were driving home to Exeter, NH around 9:00pm when we noticed a string of slowly moving red/orange lights in the sky. There was no sound, and the lights appeared to float in an erratic line, traveling from right to left above the horizon.

As they traveled across the sky, each light would get to a certain point and then slowly fade out then disappear completely. It seemed to us that they were turning so that we no longer saw the lights.

We reported this to a local police officer, who didn't seem concerned or interested. He said he would "call it in," but we saw no evidence of that. In checking the newspapers and online, there was no mention of it. The only place we've seen evidence of the same situation was on this website.

Tiny white light darts in the Great Plains evening sky!

Last night there was a half moon so there was moonlight in the western sky. As I looked at the stars, there was a tiny white light moving like a satellite. I enjoy watching satellites traverse across the night sky.....but, all of a sudden this tiny dot of light started making sharp angular turns. It darted right, then left, upward, then downward with maneuvers no known craft can do. I have never seen a UFO, but am an avid star gazer (for 40 years) and I am also an amatuer astronomer. In other words, I know what planets, constellations, and other sky objects look like. This strange little light was odd, and, frankly, it kind of frightened me.

Large triangle w/ large white circular light near each edge and a smaller circular red light in center and a constant low rumble sound

I was smoking a cigarette and saw a large triangle in the sky flying north to south. It was relatively low in the sky considering the size of the craft. It had a large circular white light near the each tip (so 3 in total) and had a medium to small sized red light in the center. If I had to guess its size I'd say it was at least 150 to 200 feet across. It made a sound like thunder, no where near as loud as thunder and it was a constant rumble but thunder is the closest sound I can compare it to. It absolutely was NOT a jet engine nor a propeller engine. My father was in the Air Force, I was born on an air force base and have been to more air shows then I can count. I am also an avid night fisherman however I have never seen anything like this. It was in view for only 20 to 30 seconds because of the tree lines on each side of me. Its speed was slower then I would have thought something that big should have been going without being much louder, at max it was g! oing 100 to 200 mph. It moved in a perfect straight line and never changed elevation.

A disbeliever firmly becomes a believer after spotting this thing in the sky.

I wasn't a believer of UFO's really before this encounter. I have seen some weird stuff in the past few years in our skies but nothing to this extreme.

I was on route 3 where the road is parrallel to 95 South. I saw this big white light in the sky. Now mind you, the sky was in overcast so you couldn't see one damn star in the sky.

So I saw this white light, it wasn't moving. It kinda just pulsed. So i slowed my car down to watch it. All of a sudden the white light disappeared, it went into a red and blue lighted sequence. Then it dropped straight down in the sky and shot over the highway directly OVER MY CAR. I started freaking out, so was my dog. My dog was out the window smelling the air making whining sounds.

I felt this weird pull at the top of my head. It felt fuzzy. I was also on the phone, freaking out.... and i couldn't even speak. my mind just froze it seemed.

The craft started to drift away but stream lined through the trees along side my car.. all the way into Charlestown.

The craft was a diamond shape, the lights of what I could see was only in the front.

I feel pretty crazy even reporting this because i don't believe in this shit, but i'm telling you right now.... What they are doing is some sketchy shit. I have no idea what they did to my head, or why they chose to follow my car into Charlestown. I felt like i couldn't get away from the thing.

It was definitely scanning in the area. oh, and there was no sound to the craft.

In a rural area, a rotating sphere with red, green, and other colored lights was sighted about 700 feet above the ground in the southwestern sky.

The viewers noticed this craft from a second story farmhouse window on the night of the solar eclipse. The UFO was guessed to be a 30 minute drive from their home.

They are familiar with planets such a Jupiter (which is currently shining in the southwestern sky at this time.) The craft hovered for over three hours. The viewers were frightened and did not attempt to get in a vehicle to drive closer for a better view. They did, however, use binoculars in their attempt to describe the craft. It was, as stated to me, definitely a sphere, definitely rotating, possessing colored lights around its perimeter, and it maintained a consistent altitude.

The 40 year old daughter saw the craft, after nearly three hours of viewing....simply VANISH into thin air.

What is the credibility of these witnesses? All four have bachelor/masters degrees. They are intelligent, "sensible", low key individuals who do not wish to be interviewed or identified. They notified me because I share an interest in the night sky. I can think of no family as credentialed or credible as this family. The veracity of their statments is beyond question.

Just after sunset,my wife and I observed a large,round,glowing white orb with blue,green,and purple blinking lights in the middle.

At approximately 6:10 P.M, 1/24/07, my wife and I saw a round, bright, glowing object, which was white with blue, purple, and green blinking lights towards the middle of the orb. After around 5 mintues it looked to be eliptical. It looked so close, we saw planes fly below it and above it but the object was 50 times the size of the other lights from the planes.

My mother-in-law came out and I showed her with the binnoculars and she was puzzled at what this could of been. It moved from about 10 feet above the treeline towards the right and down extremely slowly, and moved below the treeline and away within about 15 minutes of the sighting.

Since the summer of '06 I have seen the object several times, calling the police department, and also a local news station with no results. There have been several witnesses in my neighborhood also.

When contacting the police, 2 minutes after a quickly blinking light streaked across the sky underneath it and the object darted away as if a warning shot had been fired.

It is always seen to the Western sky, from my house in the Northeast portion of my town.

Black object of indeterminate, constantly shifting shape seen passing over Exeter, NH.

The object approached from the west, and maintained a steady trajectory towards the east, curving gently towards the south as it passed. At first it appeared to be an airplane, but it never resolved into any singular airplane shape. Sometimes it appeared to be a biplane flying in an extreme crab, sometimes it looked like a star. From first sighting, its shape was constantly moving, in a rotational manner, with a period of approximately 12 seconds. At its closest approach, it appeared that there were many (c. 20) discrete shapes rotating around the center. It maintained an overall spherical aspect at all times, and the rate of internal motion never changed. One observer saw the rotation as around a perpendicular axis. It seemed that the front of the object shifted its shape less, while the rear (as it travelled) seemed at times to be anemone-like, though with slower motion.

The object remained black, never showing any other colors, nor reflecting any light, though it didn't seem to pass into any sunlight. As it passed, both of us saw what appeared to be a halo around the object, perfectly circular, about a third of the object's diameter further out from its center. The halo appeared as an indistinct lighter ring, with a slightly darker ring around it. One observer felt it was a lens-like effect.

Its apparent speed was comperable to a light airplane, and its apparent altitude was also comperable to where a light airplane would fly, as it remained beneath all clouds. A rain storm had recently passed, and the cloud deck was moderately high - not low, but not as high as airliners travel.

One of us grew up around airplanes, and has been obsessed with them in varying degrees for his whole life. He is a musician, and has a strong background in the sciences. The other observer was raised in a very socratic household, where everything is open to question, but where the simplest answer must prevail.

A reddish pink glow in sky, seemed to be moving towards us and then dissappeared.

I walked out of the house, facing to the south and in the sky was a round fireball or light. It was a reddish pinkish glow. At first I thought maybe it was a helicopter because it seemed to be flying horizontally (unlike a falling star), but it was too pinkish to be a helicopter light, and a little too big. I kept watching, hoping my husband would get to see it. It seemed to come towards us, but yet that it was far away and then it just was gone. Is there an explanation for this?

A bright light to the northern sky, then goes dim as it leaves.

At approx. 7:30 EST, I was watching an airplane coming from the east going west. The plane crossed over and could not be seen because of trees.

My wife was standing a few feet away leaning against the truck as I was looking up into the northern sky. I seen a real bright light and I said,"What the hell", my wife looked up to where I was looking and asked what is that as the light got dim.

I said I don't know what that was, but it was no plane as it was way to far away. It looked as if it was a plane coming down at a 90 degree angle with it's headlight on. The light was bright, then went dim as it dissapeared to the sky. I thought it could have maybe been an after burner from a Stealth plane, but I do believe it was way way to high to be one.

It looked as if it was heading towards a star in the northern sky.

Cigar shaped, silver, with windows through the middle section. From where I was standing it appeared approximately 6 inches long.

It was going in a diagonal path from left to right. It didn't make ANY noise. It didn't have any wings. It didn't leave a trail. We saw it for about 4 minutes.

Other accounts have the object changing color, stretching out, or having flames underneath it, but we didn't see any of that.

Gigantic Cigar

My name is David Anthony Woody and I use the nickname Tony. I live in Exeter, New Hampshire. I am a retired Navy Chief with twenty-two years of service. My job in the Navy was a lot of fun because I was an Instructor Flight Engineer on the P3 Orion and EP-3 Reconnaissance aircraft.

I also gave in flight check-rides to fellow pilots and flight engineers. I have twenty-one years of flying experience and I have logged over 10,000 hours of flight time. I also worked for Boeing in Everett Washington north of Seattle for two years as a Quality Assurance Manager leading a team of 65 people in the Systems Installation Division on the Boeing 777 Production Line.

I’ve flown over the entire globe and never have I ever seen anything like I saw on the afternoon of July 20, 2005 at approximately 3:15 PM. I was outside preparing my lawnmower getting ready to mow my yard. I had just fueled it and finished checking the oil and had finished installing the grass catcher when I took a drink from a glass of water and was looking up into the sky as I tilted the glass of water back to finish it off. That’s when I noticed this enormous silver cigar shaped object in the sky at about a 40 to 45 degree angle above the horizon. There were very few clouds in the sky and it was about 90% clear blue sky that day with excellent visibility. Below you can see the information taken from the local Seacoast Online News Weather section for July 20, 2005 during that timeframe.

Then take the 747 and place it next to this object and the 747 would look like the Cessna does beside a 747 in relation to the size of the object. Another example would be that this object was about twice the size of a modern day US Navy Nimitz Class Aircraft Carrier. On first glance my initial thought was that it was the Hood blimp, which has been flying around in the area recently but I quickly dismissed that idea.

While watching this object for about ten minutes I realized that it wasn’t making any sound at all and although I can’t be exact, I thought it was between 2500 and 3500 feet in the air. With something that large it’s hard to really tell but I remember thinking that was about right because the clouds were around 5000 feet that day and it seemed to be below the clouds. There was also a row of large windows evenly spaced around the entire perimeter of the object a little bit higher than center on the object. I did not see anything or anyone in the windows.

The object was moving from the West directly toward me heading in an Easterly direction and moving very slowly. Again with something that large it’s hard to estimate speed with something that large but my educated guess is it was moving much slower than 100 knots.

I looked around to see if any of my neighbors were outside but no one else was outside at the time but me.

I also thought about running into the house to get my digital camera, but I didn’t know how long the object would be there so I was afraid I would miss seeing it the entire time it was in view and I didn’t want to risk that.

I’m glad I decided to stay because not long after I made that decision the object changed from a bright shiny silver color and started to glow a red/orange color. Then there was this strange looking cloud of orange/red flames that started growing and billowing underneath the entire bottom of the object. The billowing fiery clouds reminded me of the way napalm rolls along on the vintage war film footage of Viet Nam I’ve seen on television except that there was no smoke associated with it. At that point I had a shot of adrenalin due to extreme fear because I thought it was going to attack me in some way. It looked as if the air itself had been suddenly ignited in a large billowing cloud of flames. Just as I was about to turn and run into the house due to fear the fiery cloud grew larger and it seemed to be pushing back toward the western end of the object and once it reached its peak (probably about half the diameter of the object) the object seemed to stretch out about twice its original size toward the eastern end of the object thus filling the entire sky in front of me and then in the wink of an eye the western end of the object caught up with the eastern end and it simply disappeared right in front of me. This entire process only took about four or five seconds and the instant the object disappeared so did the billowing fireball cloud. There was no apparent residual evidence that the object was ever there once it disappeared. I was stunned and stood there for several minutes wondering what to do and what had I just seen. I thought about calling the police but because no one else was there to see it with me I didn’t think they would believe me so I didn’t call. I knew I had to report it to somebody so I Googled the words report UFO and that’s how I found the web site for the National UFO Reporting Center.

I didn’t notice any bright lights on the object although that doesn’t mean it didn’t have any because it was a bright sunny clear day and any lights would have been washed out by the bright sunlight and the reflected sunlight off of it’s surface. Also the sun was high in the sky and in no way did it obscure my visibility of the object nor did any reflected sunlight from the object obscure my vision of it in any way. There were no trees or man-made structures obstructing my view. The object made no noise at all during the entire event.

This was absolutely one of the most amazing things I have ever seen in my life and I’ve seen a lot. In my opinion this was not something man made and it was far too big to be a blimp or an airplane. I believe it was not of this Earth. Other than that I have no idea what it was, where it came from or where it went. It absolutely appeared to be under intelligent control and exhibited use of technology far beyond anything known to mankind today unless this is some kind of new top-secret government craft previously unheard of. I seriously doubt that though because it would be almost impossible to hide something from the public of this gigantic physical size if it were a secret government project.

UFO sighting in Exeter - again

EXETER - There was something odd in the sky last week, something that caused a Navy veteran with 10,000 hours of flight experience to have his own close encounter. The former flight engineer, who wished to be identified only as "David," said of the experience, "this was like nothing I've ever seen before."

What the retired Navy chief petty officer said he saw last Wednesday could only be classified as a UFO, an unidentified flying object.

It was a bright and sunny afternoon, about 3:15 p.m., and David was outside preparing his lawnmower. He had filled the mower with gas, checked the oil, and took a sip from a glass of water he had poured.
When he tilted his head back to get the final sip, through the bottom of the glass he saw a large cigar-shaped object hovering in the sky.

David said windows were equally spaced around the object, however he didn't see anyone or anything inside. The size of the object was enormous. By comparison, he said, consider what an ultralight plane
would look like next to a Boeing 747. He said it was about the size of two USS Nimitz aircraft carriers.

At first glance, through his empty glass of water he thought it could have been the Hood blimp.

"But, the instant I put my glass down, I said, 'that's not a blimp.'"

The object moved from west to east, very slowly for something that size, he said. His initial instinct was that the object was moving at about 100 knots, but something that big shouldn't be able to stay in the air if it's going that slow, he said.

The object began changing colors from a bright silver to an orange-ish red. A strange cloud of red and orange flames began surrounding the object, and before he knew it the object stretched out like a rubber band. It grew to about twice its original size, and then it was gone.

The entire incident lasted about 10 minutes, he recalled Monday morning, but he is unaware of the specific time because, "it felt like time stopped."

He went into his house and first thought to call the police. He decided not to because he didn't think they'd take him seriously. So he went on the Internet and searched for "report UFO," and found the Web site for the Seattle-based National UFO Reporting Center.

Peter Davenport, director of the UFO reporting center, said David's report was astonishing because of his history with flight. "I have no question on his reliability."

He said he gets several accounts each year, but this one stood out. The report was well written and scientific, Davenport said.

"In my view, that's one of the cardinal rules of an account," he said.

The center was founded in 1974 by UFO investigator Robert Gribble. The center's Web site, www.nuforc.org, has a large list of UFO sightings. According to the site, the center's primary function is to receive, record, and to the greatest degree possible, corroborate and document reports from individuals who have witnessed possible UFOs. David's report, which will soon be on the Web site, will be among dozens of documented sightings to be formally reported to the center.

Not the first time

The Exeter area is no stranger to UFO sightings. In 1965, two Exeter police officers and hitchhiker Norman Muscarello, who was with them, gained national attention after seeing a UFO hovering over Route 101 in Kensington. The sighting was documented in a book called "The Incident at Exeter."

And then there was the incident involving Barney and Betty Hill, a husband and wife from Portsmouth who claimed to have been abducted by aliens. The couple was driving from a vacation in Canada in 1961 when they saw a UFO.

The object moved directly over their car, and before they knew it they grew drowsy. They later claimed to have been abducted by aliens and gave identical accounts while they were hypnotized.

But for this recent sighting, David said he believes that there is life beyond Earth. He said the galaxy is so enormous, it's hard to believe humans are the only intelligent life.

"To the point of not being obnoxious, it'd be egocentric to think there is no other life out there."

I don't know what time it was or remember what year but I can't stop thinking about when that happened but I was sitting on my bed typing a something on my laptop around 11-3am I'm usually in my room and up. So it was some time between that.I was feeling fine, but all of a sudden I felt weird, like an electric charge like when you rub a balloon on ur hair you can feel the static, like that but all over my body and I was lying back and wouldn't move and I was getting this massive headache but it wasn't exactly a headache, I just heard this kind of quiet sound like somethings hovering above my house then it got louder, like I didn't hear it I felt it in my head, It wasn't literally loud but it was loud to me. And I could just hear it as if I was in a little room with a radio turned on loud.It just sounded like something was hover around.It was so weird, I wanted to look out the window but I just couldn't get up, I don't know if it was my mind that just was scared to find out what it was or if it was something else. All I could remember is that Loud sound but at the same time it was silent..I don't know how to explain it and there was a white light that'd go pass my window, I had blinds so I couldn't see out it.This was going on for about 30-45 mins.I was thiking it was just a car but that sound couldn't possibly come from a car, I've never heard it before and what about the light, it just sounded like it was hovering around really fast then just staying in one spot. Anyways I don't really remember much or how but I ended up falling asleep.. Then likean hour later it happened again, That sound ringing in my head just woke me up this time I woke up scared, not cause the sound being loud in my head I don't know what it was, but I woke up and just sat there listening to that sound hover away.It was weeks later maybe a month I was hearing it again. Weird my dad had just got up to pee(it was night time),I told my dad about my weird headache and how it sounded like something was outside my window! , I'm su re a UFO that I've never heard before such a sound like that staying in one spot, I was telling him maybe I need to see a doctor cause that headache was just, not normal. Then we got into some other conversation completely off subject then all of a sudden I started hearing that sound again. I interrupted my dad and told him to shh and listen, but he kept talkin and went to whispering then shut up by that time it went away. Haven't heard it since.

unusual light in sky

I was driving north on Rte. 2, right near the Exeter/North Kingstown town line. I went around a curve near Exeter Road and the RI veterans cemetery, when all of a sudden something in the sky caught my eye. It kind of looked like a star, but the partly cloudy skies made seeing stars very difficult. bright white or blue light. it moved west, curving a little bit before disappearing behind a cloud. the way it moved reminded me of a kid playing with a laser pointer on a wall...kind of an S-shaped curve. it was fast...but I've seen meteor showers before and it definitely wasn't as fast as a meteor. It definitely wasn't an airplane...it was moving too fast and its turns were much too quick.

I saw three diamond shaped lights in Exeter NH back in the 90's.

This event took place close to 11 years ago. I was driving home to Exeter, NH from Kittery ME.

It was between 9-10pm and it was a clear cold New England evening. I was driving westbound on 101 (in Exeter) just before reaching the (Newfields Rd.) exit. I was traveling approx. 56 miles per hour but slowing down to approach my exit. This area of 101 was not populated at the time and my exit dumps into a typical NH country road. There was no traffic behind me but a car up ahead some distance.

Just before my turn I noticed three white lights above the tree line ahead (west) on 101.

I slowed down noticing they were lined up next to one another( in a row). As my exit grew closer the diamond shaped light furthest to the right shot straight up and disappeared. The one next to it turned a bit stopped and hung there a moment then flew off in a different direction ( to the left)and the last one went to it's left and also dissapeared from view. I had a passenger with me and we both saw it and looked at eachother after the event. I have told one other person this story.(My wife) I hope you enjoyed my recollection of this event. Not sure what I saw but I figured you people would appreciate this.

UFO seen Christmas Eve 1987. Made sudden "L" shape turn unlike any known aircraft.

The following incident occured in Exeter, Rhode Island on Route 102. It was Christmas Eve 1987. I was 9 years old. I was carrying presents out to the car at about 8 PM. I looked up into the dark sky and saw a rectangular shaped UFO. It had lights that were white, red and green. It appeared that in the white lit "windows" there were shadowy heads.

Things became more unusual when the object stopped while moving in a straight line and suddenly turned on a dime in an "L" shaped line.

Too frozen in awe to move until that point (seemed like I watched for up to 1 minute), I ran into the house to get my mother. By the time she came out with me (a few seconds later) she and I caught the tail end of a flash as the object had quickly taken off.

Even though we both clearly recall the incident 26 years later, she was only able to see the tail end of the object and the flash. This confirmed to her that I had infact seen something unusual.

When I returned It was nowhere to be seen. I am seventy two years old and I will always remember. The object was more elongated oval than cigar shape. It was not large in the center and pointed on ends.

WELL HERE IS MY PART OF THIS STORY.... I AM SHAKING SO BAD I CAN'T HARDLY TYPE.

IWAS 14 YEARS OLD AND I HAD A NEIGHBOR LADY THAT WAS 72 .... I STAYED WITH HER IN THE EVENINGS SO SHE WASN'T SCARED . saw what appeared as very bright star, somewhat orange, yellow which changed in intensity to very bright, from bright. was standing on street, looking across a field to tree line, where object appeared to be just above the tree line. object moved slowly, deliberately, from horizon to over head and made no noise. it was a very quiet winter night, in an isolated area. at this point, i lost track of my friend. object went just over head and stopped. i could feel a static electricity all around me. could see and feel presence of the object about 300ft. over head. it appeared to be slightly wider than the road and i could sense it's mass, which seemed very heavy and dense. i saw the texture of the object to be like a brushed metal with ridges, like (only thing i can think of), corduroy pants. color seemed to be either grey, black, or rust brown. the glow of light emanating around the object seemed to squew the actual color. the object stopped overhead and i could hear a low humming, that was very similar or the same as what you might hear while standing under high tension wires. just then there was a flash(beam) of white light, like when your eyes are blinded by a camera flash. although the temp. outside was very cold, it was not cold while the object was overhead. i then felt an extreme burning as though i was being bombarded with heat(radiation?) so intense, that i was going to burn alive. i remember thinking that i might die. last i remember, i was calling for my friend and he was some distance off, maybe 50 yards from me. when we returned to the house, which was about 100yards away, the others asked where we had been. they said we had been gone for several hours. it seemed like 10min.. had we been outside for several hours, it seems there was a risk of hypothermia. i seem to have some memory of what happened during the missing time, but i would prefer to recall under hypnosis, than make any assumptions. *i have purposely not read any abduction books, because i don't wish to prejudice my experience, but i feel all alone in my experience and would like to know where and how i could get some support and closure. ps. the incident happened in Exetor NH and i believe there were other reports of people seeing strange lights in the news.

Flying isoclese triangle with three lights.

I was driving home about 30:50-the sky was completely dark - on a rural road with no streetlights. Above a large open field I saw three colored lights at about what I estimate to have been the height of a typical cell tower. There is no cell tower in this location and the lights were not blinking. I slowed down the car, moved over to the shoulder and got out to view it.

I saw something moving - as I said, about the height of a typical cell tower - at a very slow rate of sleep with three lights, one in each corner of the isosceles triangle. the lights were yellow, red and what seemed to be an orange. No light was visible in the center of the triangle. The lights must have moved over my car as I was driving before I got out.

I watched the triangle move slowly in the sky over head for about 5 minutes until it moved out of view. The lights never flickered or wicked out and the colors were constant on the corners of the triangle. I wish I had thought to putt out my tape measure (I always carry a tape measure with me as I am a sewer) in order to estimate the distance between the light so someone to mathematically estimate the size of the triangle.

The triangle made no sound at all. Only the lights were visible in the night sky. The color of the body of whatever it was between the lights could not be discerned. I also want to say that my car did not experience any sputtering as I saw the object. The radio was on and there was no interference.

I got back into my car, the car operated just fine and I was home at 9:00 pm.

UFO Incident Exeter Newhampshire 1957

I have been reluctant until now to tell this story. My family was summering in Landcaster New Hampshire during 1957. On a Friday night in August My Father,(An Episcopal Minister), mother, brother, the Bishop of Massachusetts, and I were returning home from a 7:00 PM movie in Exeter New Hampshire. It was aproximately 9:00 PM. We were driving along and suddenly saw a light in the sky over the mountains. My father pulled over to the side of the road so that we could get a better look at the light. At first we thought it was a spotlight shining on a cloud. But when we pulled over and stopped, we got a better look at it. It was a saucer shaped object. It was stationery, several hundred feet above a mountain. There was no sound from the object. One edge of the craft was tilted down toward us, and we could see across the top of it. In the middle of the craft was a very bright white light that seemed to pulsate and change colors slightly. From a bright white, to a reddish and yellow. Around the outer edge of the craft were bright white lights also. They too seemed to be pulsating, and changing colors slightly. White, yellow, and red. We watched the craft for a couple of minutes as it stood still above the mountain top. There were scattered clouds, and the craft illuminated the clouds closest to it. Suddenly the craft went from a dead stop, to completely out of sight in about 2 seconds. It took off upward in the direction of the farthest side of the craft, which was higher than the side facing us, and at about the same angle that it had been in while stationery. We all didn't know what to say or do. We pulled back onto the road and continued home. There was very little talk about it on the way home, but my brother and I kept saying to each other, "I don't believe what we saw". "It was a UFO"!At the time I was 12 years old and by brother was 10.
