Triangular craft with three white lights on corners of the object.

My wife and I were traveling back from a dinner in Palo Alto, CA to Napa, CA. On CA29, we noticed three white lights in a triangular shape. The craft followed the road in the same direction as our travel and then veered off to the left. We did not hear any noise from the object and it quickly disappeared after turning left. Although we were near an airport, the lighting, shape and size are what captured our attention. The lights were at the corners of the craft, were white, and we could see no port or starboard lighting (red or green). The craft was dark colored.

My wife was able to take two pictures with her iphone from the car. They are not great, but the lights and triangular shape can be seen.

Background: I am a former naval officer, and both my wife and I are business professionals.

Two crafts flying low to ground about car size zoomed above our heads making no sound but displacing a lot of air.

Was talking to my gf when I noticed two semi white circular objects flying above us heading south bound. The craft made no noise it only displaced a bunch of air. These crafts flew about the speed of a fighter jet just with no sound. I will continue to monitor the sky. Investing in high tech cameras to capture them know that I know they are real.

Red light separates into two.

My Husbndand and I saw a large shapeless red light, with strands of red light streaming down like jellyfish tenticles. The large part of this red object split into two parts for about 4 minutes then slowly the two parts merged back into one shape again. AFter they became one, the object with lightening speed, disappeared into the eastern sky and vanished.

What i thought was a shooting star ended up flying across the valley

On my way to work i came to a red light on the highway. While at the red light there was a bright flash and a streak in the sky right in what i thought i had a fron row seat to a beautiful shooting star. There was a flash and a tail however as it fell the tail got smaller and almost reversed to where now there is a short flame out of the bottom to slow the object down and brought it to a stand still hover in the sky. The object that had been an orangish red had illuminated to a very bright white orb and then proceded to fly to the east side of the valley very fast. Id say its altitude would bounce between 200 -1000 feet off the ground and changed direction several times. I filmed the orb flying while it was on the east side of the valley with my phone but unfortunately did not film when i thought it was just a shooting star and actually watched it enter the earths atmosphere

Saw a white, egg-shaped object shoot across the sky like a meteor, but there was no tail or vapor trail of any kind. No sonic boom either. It was travelling east of Napa on a south to north trajectory. About 2 seconds behind it another identical craft going the same speed on the same trajectory flew past. Essentially I believe I witnessed a formation of aircraft flying at hypersonic speed and their flight path would carry them pretty close to Travis AFB.

Large reddish orange light that dropped many more lights out of it, and some smaller same colored lights shot out the top.

I do star parties for hire with a large telescope I designed and built.

At 12:50 a.m., I was going east on Trancas Street in Napa, CA, heading home from a star party. I observed a large orange/red circular light over about the area of the Queen of the Valley Hospital, about a quarter mile away from my position, moving slowly north to south, maybe 500-750 feet high (it looked lower than an airplane at pattern altitude). The diameter of the circular light I observed I'd say was on the order of about the diameter of the length of a small airplane viewed at that distance, perhaps a bit smaller, so while very subjective, perhaps in the range of 20' diameter.

As I watched it slowly moving, it dropped a large light out of it! It fell straight down! And then it dropped another and another and then a whole string of maybe 6 or more! And more smaller lights shot out the top of the thing going up!

I did get some pictures but of course they're not great.

The lights were BRIGHT, and a dark reddish orange in color.

I have enough doubt now that I should rescind my report I made yesterday re. Napa, CA. I think it was a tribute balloon on fire a lot closer to me than I thought.

Multiple satellites in one group moving south to north across California.

I was laying down on a bench looking up at the night sky when I saw the object moving south to north. I thought oh cool a satellite (dim fast moving), but as I focused at the moving object there was more than one. It looked like a group of 4 satellites in a "v" pattern, with the fourth straggling behind the 3 (like this <.)

I don't know if there are any satellites currently in orbit that are in a group that close together but is sure was strange.

I went outside and saw a huge orange crescent shape object in the sky. It was north west just above the hills that have grapes planted on them.

I got my binoculars to see it better and could see that the crescent shape was diminishing. As the light was almost gone, I could see the shape of the object in the dark. It was like a huge ball and three times bigger than a full moon. It faintly glowed.

Then when the crescent light faded the object disappeared.

at 12:09 pm in napa at austin park off of dry creek rd. i heard two hawks making noise in the sky and when i looked up in a north west direction to look at the hawks and then as i watched them fly in direction towards north santa rosa, if you were loking at a watch dial with west being 12.00o'clock the craft was in a three o'clock position moving faster then any plane or jet i ever seen and without a even a contrail to follow it, it had no wings and was cylinder shaped with conicle nose and traveling in upper statoshere and took about two to three seconds to travel out of site.

then as i looked to my left there were 4 planes traveling same direction but coming from a southern west direction like coming from travis air force base and they all were flying one after another and they all left a contrail and sound; at first i thought in might be a drone but it had no wings and was traveling at least mach 2 but with no punch sound from breaking the sound barrier. then i thought missile but then no vapor trail or sound, and no news or info on internet for craft or rocket launch in area and their are no bases in direction of craft.

4-5 lights flying slowly in a straight line

It was around 10 PM and I was in the front passenger seat on my way to the theater in Napa. I noticed the passengers in the car next to me had their windows rolled down and were filming something with their phones.

We made the turn to get on the street where the theater is on and I saw what looked like an airplane flying in the sky, a bright far away light moving slowly in a straight line. Then I noticed more lights moving behind the first one. There was a total of 4-5 lights moving slowly and close together in a straight line across the sky. I opened my window to see if they were making any noise and they weren't. After about a minute, they all disappeared except the one in front leading. After about 30 seconds, that one disappeared as well.

i was out side around 3:40 am and i seen two orange red dots or balls one i couldnt see for a while until it moved from behind a tree then i could see they were in perfect line for like 2 minutes staying perfectly still then one started flying in the opposite direction and shot sparks off or looked like it dropped something out of the sky then i couldnt see it anymore but the other one was moving away and it would flicker and stop a couple of times then i was distracted for like five seconds by a light that shown on my fence witch i think was a cars headlights and when i looked back it was gone into the horizon there was no possible way anything could just vanish into thin air like that

Friday 1/21/11 6:20 PM Cold and Clear.

First seen 50 to 100 feet above ground just above tall trees on Silverado Trail as I was heading North, it crossed the road silently and very moving slowly ESE, NO sound, and moved very slowly, multiple weird orange/white lights. No visible form just lights in a triangle shape. The side facing me had a bank of orange lights with brighter lights on either end. The triangle shape was defined by this bank of lights and the single less bright light on the other side. It appeared to move sideways and not the direction of the triangle shape. I first viewed it on the west side of the road just above and before the trees, as I approached closer, it moved across the road DIRECTLY ABOVE ME and the 5 cars behind me. I strained to look though the windshield above me as I drove underneath it. NO SOUND, no wind, nothing as it moved slowly across the road and me driving underneath (~50 mph). It was at least 100 feet wide. I still cannot believe what I witnessed with my own eyes. It was NOT! a balloon, plane or helicopter. I thought about pulling over to take a picture but had too many tailgaters behind me and no safe place to pull over safely until the hills and trees would block my view. Napa, Ca is close to Travis Air Force Base.

This morning at about 6:30am I saw a flashing light in the sky outside my bedroom window. I realized quickly that it was not a plane because of its erratic and slow movement. It went up a little then to the right a little & stayed with this pattern for about 4 minutes until it was out of view. It was circular in shape & the lights flashed as the UFO circled (spun). It could not have been a helicopter because of the way it moved, slowly but surely.

Light observed hovering over Napa and then dropping something before disappearing.

I am a security officer in the Napa area.

On 12/01/2009 at about 22:55 I was walking around an apartment complex in the city of Napa, CA. My girlfriend was talking to her mother on the phone and she had me on the phone as well. I was listening to my girlfriend talking to her mother through my Bluetooth device.

While walking around this apartment complex, I happened to look up through the trees, toward the south. I saw a bright light in the sky traveling northbound. At first I thought this was a plane that had just taken off from the airport with its landing lights still on. Then I noticed that it wobbled as it traveled and had no flashing lights on it. It was also a little larger and brighter than any of the stars in the sky.

Still thinking this was a plane, I found a larger opening in the trees and continued to watch it. It appeared to stop briefly a couple of times. The light traveled until it was almost straight up from where I was. It was still slightly south of me though. It just stopped in the sky and hovered. There was no noise to it either. As I watched this thing hover, I could see two horizontal lights on the sides of it. For a moment I thought it could be a blimp with words scrolling on the sides of it but it was too small or too high, to be a blimp. And a blimp has the lighted words on opposing sides. This thing had the lights forward on each side, not opposite of each other.

As I stood and looked at this thing, I realized this was not a plane and told my girlfriend to go outside and look at it. She, in turn, told her mother to go outside and look too. My girlfriend did not go outside but her father, who was with her mother, went outside at her mother’s request. He said he didn’t see it. I told them that it was the brightest looking "star" in the sky, just south of where the moon was. Nobody else saw this light.

As I watched this light, it began backing up and travelling southbound, the way it had come. As it did, it dropped something. What it dropped looked like a piece of glitter, but obviously larger. It sparkled for about a second and then was no longer visible. The light dropped about 4 or 5 of these things that I could see. After that, the object flickered and looked like it disappeared. It then lit back up and flickered some more.

I heard some people walking toward me so I looked toward them to point this object out to them. I wanted someone else to see this besides just me. Well, the people who were coming toward me went into an apartment before reaching my location. I looked back up at the sky, where the object was, and noticed it was no longer visible. I wish I had watched it to see if it just flickered out or if it traveled somewhere else.

There was some cloud cover and this object appeared to be below the clouds. I kept watching for it all night after this and never did see it again.

We stood outside my van and watched this thing move, then stop, move some more, then stop, et cetera. It was going South in the horizon and slightly up, as well.

We watched this for maybe 5-7 minutes or so, discussing what it could be (it had no blinking lights to suggest it was a plane or helicopter of any kind.) when suddenly we see this BRIGHT white flash where the orange light was (which caused me to flinch; it was startling) then just a few seconds later a sonic boom. And then the orange light was gone.

I have never seen anything like that in my life. I have always loved stories of U.F.O. sightings, I have had two others in my home town as well, but NOTHING like this.

At around Midnight my friends and I were standing outside talking when suddenly in the Southwest corner of the valley, bright blue sphere-like light erupted into the sky.

No they were not fireworks or search lights. The shade of blue was close to a bright neon and the orbs of light seemed to form out of one another.

Following these lights was an intense guttural sound. It was as if a whale was moaning. The sound was deep and penetrating.

I am extremely frightened by this event.

Sighted two silent fast moving triangular craft with lights moving south to north over Napa California on 03-26-08.

I am reporting the sighting of two black triangles flying south to north over Napa California. I am a Police Officer at Napa State Hospital and was on duty during this sighting. On 03-26-08 at 21:07 I was looking west at the constellation Orion and the Pleiades.

I noticed what at first looked like three stars in a triangular formation all moving together. When I looked closer I could see the lights were on a triangular form that was darker than the sky background. I watched the object move from south to north at what I approximate as between 500 to 1,000 feet in altitude. I estimate the object was 20 miles west of me over the Napa / Sonoma County line. The object seemed to be an equilateral triangle with a steady white light near each corner. There was also a dimmer white light in the center of the object. I would estimate that the distance between the outer lights near the corners was slightly less than the distance that separates the stars in Orion’s belt.

Based on these observations and my estimations, the object would have been quite large. A rough estimate would place the sides of the object at 300 feet in length. A better extrapolation could be ascertained from my previous estimations though. The object was moving very swiftly and was completely silent. I often watch aircraft take off and land at the Napa Airport while working on the west side of our facility in the evenings. The evening was quiet and I could hear each aircraft as it passes over me, even those at high altitudes. At the time I saw the object, there were no other aircraft in my field of view. Additionally, I have some experience flying a Cessna 172 from the Napa Airport when I was taking flying lessons and am familiar with basic avionics and flight characteristics.

At the distance and altitude I estimate the object was from me, the object appeared to be flying at a rate at least ten times that of the many commercial and private jets I often observe in the air corridors above Napa. I continued to watch the object as it disappeared behind some trees to the north of me.

I looked at my watch and marked the time at 21:07 then reached in my pocket for my cell phone. I was trying to dial my phone by touch so as to preserve my night vision while looking back toward Orion. As I did this I saw another identical object moving in the same manner as the first. This was almost one minute from the sighting of the first object. I continued to watch the object until it disappeared behind the same trees.

I returned my observation toward Orion to see if there were any more. I watched this portion of the sky while glancing at other portions of the sky for another ten minutes before I stopped to call my friend to tell him about the sighting.

Bright orange light drifted across the sky.

The incident took place at roughly 7:30-8pm, well after dark, while I was taking out the trash at my apartment complex. A bright orange light in the Southeast sky caught my attention. It seemed pretty far away and moved very slowly. There was no noise and no blinking lights as on an aircraft. It seemed to move too slowly for an aircraft. It gradually drifted Northward and after a couple minutes it changed course and moved toward the East as it dimmed. It then faded away.

I managed to get a pair of binoculars and it was simply a single orange light with a constant intensity and no other lights, blinking or otherwise. No trail was left. The sky was mostly clear with just a few cirrus clouds and no moon.

An almost identical light was seen a few years ago by myself that moved in a similar fashion, but in the opposite direction. I had reported that sighting as well on this site. I’m interested if anyone else saw this light or if there is some explanation for what I have seen, now twice.

UFO over Lake Berryessa.

I was camping with several friends at Lake Berryessa in Napa, when I noticed a lone light creeping across the sky. It was late in the evening, about 10-11 at night, when I saw first noticed it and it took a good minute or two to get from where I first saw it until it disappeared behind a mountain. I never made mention to anyone else to confirm what I saw because, unfortunately enough, I’m the only believer in the group of aliens and UFOs.

It was just a ball of light, no other flashing or blinking lights on the sides like a regular small plane would have and I didn’t hear a sound from it. Though several seconds after the light disappeared, a small plane did fly over in the same exact "path" (for the lack of a better term) the light flew over.

Blue Sphere In Night Sky Lake Barryessa, Ca

In late 2006, at the Northern part of Lake Berryessa, California, I walked outside of our mobile home, located at Monticello Ranch Resort, at around 1am. As I turned left (Northern Direction) I saw a large Sphere, moving from east to west in the sky. The Sphere was very dark blue in color. It looked as if it possibly had electrical properties to it. Its altitude was approximately 50 to 100 yards (estimated) above the tree line. Moving at about 15 - 20 mph.

The best size estimation is that of a medium size RV, but round, or spherical.

I observed this object for about 15 seconds. Thinking, "What the hell is that?", and I wondered how it could move so slow and stay in the air for its size.

I turned away for a few seconds, and when I looked back, it was gone.

Wow, what a sight that was to see. I searched the internet, years later, to see if I could find any reports about this type of phenomenon, with no results.

Fireball across the napa sky around 9pm, looked like an airliner on fire but afdter checking nothing reported

It was Saturday night almost 9p.m. My family and I decided, a lil too late in the evening, to do a backyard B.B.Q.

My spouse, with a tad bit more patience than I this evening, refocused their lil minds by cleverly pointing out several lights in the sky.

IMMEDIATELY as we look into the sky, our focus is immiediatly frozen to a very unfamiliar sight in the sky. There was some type of formation, whether it be a Star,Rock or a UFO, I am still not sure but whatever the object it did have a capitivating glow around it, possibly an aircraft in distress we originally assumed until we drove out to the county airport (with the same kids that were driving us crazy shortly before, and to add to the delima our eldest child, 4 years in age, saw the entire showing in the sky, and came to belive that it was a airplane full of people who caught fire shortly before crashing) My son has abbrivated leters after his name that would make a doctor jealous, but these letters identify his special needs emotionally, he is a very smart and has a imignation with no limits...he asked questions the entire drive to the local airport (30 min) he has told us we need flashlights and paints a childlike graphic image of what he expects to encounter once on the scene. Needless to say we encountered nothing but the same intoxicated, out of state winos. We drove until his nerves were at ease and he was sure that there wasnt a plane on fire. He then fell asleep as his younger brother had shortly before. When we got home and pulled the sleepy kids from the van he told his mom that it wasnt a plane crash that he had belived it to be, that it actually was a shooting-star. The rest of the night into the morning we still felt like the only people who had seen this as there was no news reports and it wasnt until this sunday morning I did a google search for any information and came up with only 1 article, reported by a girl in the TARGET parking lot.

There might have been 2 of these things or part of it burned and fell from the main object, I am still not sure We are still VERY interested in finding out more about this, from others who witnessed it or anyone who may know more.

Falling fireball ended in lightning-like flash to north of Napa, CA 10/30/2005 19:30 PST

While traveling north on CA SR29 near the Napa County Airport we observed a rapidly falling fireball dropping behind a small (200' elevation) hill to our north. Scale and distance are hard to guess, but we thought it might be on the order of 25-30 miles distant. Much farther than that and the scale of the object would have been rather immense.

Our location at the time of sighting was approximately 38°13'59.74"N by 122°15'34.61"W, elevation about 88 feet ASL. Skies were pretty much clear all around.

The odd thing about it was that as the fireball disappeared over the horizon there was a tremendous flash of light, very much like lightning in the color of the light and how it lit the sky and backlit the hill between it and us. It was almost a disappointment that we did not hear a corresponding kaBOOM.

Dim Flapping Object in Napa Sky October 1st

On october 1st at about 8:30 pm I went outside of my Mom's house in Napa, California.

At first what caught my attention, was a sound that sounded like a kite or flag flapping quickly in the sky...I looked up towards sound, and saw a very dimish light. I watched for a few minutes, expecting it to be a bird, or a kite...but it stayed in same relative spot in the sky. It was to the East, about 50 feet above the tree line..so it might have been farily low to the earth. I then went back inside to get my Mom (63) and daughter (9) to have then take a hear and look. Both heard it, both saw the dim light moving around kind of "intelligently" but also kind of random. It seemed to stay in the original spot for at least 10 minutes. By this time, I secured my LED flashlight and started to try the old Close Encounters light flashing...Hoping of course that I didn't upset what ever it was...but mostly trying to see if it would respond to me.

It didn't. After a few more minutes it started to move off to the East and get higher..at least higher so that I could no longer hear it. I watched it another 10 minutes as the light moved, again in seemingly random pattern, and behind some clounds until it was no longer visable. Near the end of this sighting I did see an airplane flying west to east ( most likely towards Sacramento Airports)...and I could clearly see the plane.

I am a computer IT manager. My dad used to fly P-3's for the Navy looking for Soviet subs ( when that was the treat!)...so I am quite familiar with things in the sky.

I have seen satellites at night, planes at night, helicopters at night, birds and kites at night. This was NOT any of them. It was weird, but I don't think it was from "outer space". I tend to think it was either some new UAV that is autonomously roaming, or maybe some really weird birds (owls ??) but it just sounded too loud to be a bird, and stayed in the same spot too long. I have seen birds feasting on gnats and they move about differently.

In my 38 years, it is by far the only time or object that I have seen that I have been compelled to write about. Did anybody else see/hear this thing ? I guess it was about small airplane, small Preadator sized vehicle if it was one.

Hello, Around Thursday 1am. I witnessed a large bright ball of orange red that was traveling in a left to right fashion. It was in the Northern direction about 40 degrees of horizon, and traveling at a slow pace compared to meteors I've witnessed.

Twice I saw small embers fall off the ball and head downward towards earth, and the whole time period might have been between 30 to 60 seconds. It finally disappeared totally above the horizon line from my view.

Have any ideas about what I saw? One of my old teachers said it wasn't a satellite due to wrong aerial positioning, and didn't sound like a launch of some kind.

Orange light slowly travels across the sky and rapidly ejects smaller lights downward from it, before disappearing.

I had just come home from work and was unloading my car, making several trips into the house. I noticed an orange point of light in the North sky close to the horizon. It was the approximate brightness of aircraft headlights. At first I didn't pay much attention to it, but as I noticed the light gradually moving in my general direction, the orangeness of the light struck me as being odd, as aircraft have white headlights, red strobe lights, red and green wingtip lights, and white wingtip strobes. This had none of those lights required by the FAA. I also started to notice that although this light was moving a bit slower than a satellite, it's speed kept changing. Just enough to notice. It would speed up and slow down as it moved from North to South. As it got closer I kept listening, but never heard any engines or any noise at all. I also noticed that it began swerving slightly and it's overall direction changed to a Southeasterly direction. The intensity of the light remained constant. It got to a point where it was as close to me as it was going to get and was now moving left to right. It was a mostly clear night, with a few patchy areas of stratus clouds. A couple of times this object passed behind a cloud and could still see some light through it. It's altitude was hard to guess, but high enough to be above the low clouds. At it's closest point, it was about 35 to 40 degrees above the horizon. By this time I had run into to house to retrieve a pair of binoculars to get a better look at this. I focused in on it, and it was a solid orange point of light. It left no vapor or smoke trail. As it moved southeast I suddenly saw a smaller "piece" of the orange light fall or get ejected downward from the object. The odd thing is, the "piece" kept the same forward velocity as the parent object as it fell rapidly downward, so it did not lag behind or trail as it fell. Once it fell, it quickly twinkled out. Then I saw another piece drop, and then another, in the same exact fashion. Then the parent object quickly faded out into the blackness of the night sky. Nothing further was seen.

Had this been a satellite or space junk burning up in the atmosphere, any pieces breaking off would stay together and slowly drift apart. The "piece" was moving downward at about the same speed as it was moving forward. Not sure what to make of this.

At 6:00 pm, an unidentified "object" was shining very brightly in the western portion of the sky, more in a southerly direction to where the sun would normally set. At first it appeared to be holding still, after 5-10 minutes, it moved very fast in a northerly direction, and, then moved from one point to another, slowly, then very fast again. At this time, it is still moving about in the same portion of the sky. This same object has been seen for over a two months period (from September to December 12, 2003, by two of the witnesses that is presently making this report. We called the Coast Guard, the weather station and finally the UFO hotline to report what we have been seeing for the last 4 months and were told it "must have been a star" and, we just thought it moved. The object we are now seeing in the western sky, appears to be the same as what we have been seeing, only then it was it the south-east portion of the sky, and moving about just as it is this pm in the western portion of sky. I looked for it for the last two nights and could not see it. We then saw the same object in the Western sky, as stated on this report. We do not "do drugs" and have not had anything to drink (yet) and of a clear mind and of average to upper average intelligence.We have NEVER seen anything like this before and we are certain, without a shadow of doubt as to the accuracy of our statement. The object appears to have bluish green lights underneath or across it and they appear to be flashing. In my observing this object from September to December 12, 2003, I would spend two to three hours just watching it move about. Two of the witnesses are practicing attorneys and were apprehensive in even attempting to report our sighting.

Orange glowing glob of light shifting shapes like a lava lamp one night while driving.

This was an extremely bizzarre sighting. And ironically happened just days after another sighting I had. I was driving to my fiance's place after getting off work one night and was driving North on Jefferson St. approaching the Lincoln Ave. intersection, when this weird sight, off to the left and up a little, caught my attention. It was an orange glowing mass a few miles away that was shifting shapes. Smaller masses would break off and re-join the glob of light. It was like watching the wax in a lava lamp do it's thing in fast forward. As soon as I got a good look at it it faded away.

Dark chevron shape zooming across the night sky with no lights on it.

My fiance and I were walking through the neighborhood one clear winter evening, when My fiance looked up and stopped very fast and told me to look up. I looked up and she pointed to this very fast moving dark object moving North. We could just barely see that it was chevron in shape, maybe 2 or 3,ooo feet up. It had a barely discernable faint glow on the back of it, but seemed shiny with no lights on it at all. It was moving steadily at maybe 5oo mph, if my guess on its' altitude is correct. We watched it until it's shape seemed to blend into the night sky. It made absolutely no noise. My first thought was that it could be a stealth bomber, but if it was, it would have aircraft lights on it, required by the FAA. This object was almost completely blacked out. This object also was chevron or boomberang shaped and was seen directly overhead. A stealth bomber is more triangular shaped when viewed from above or below. This object made no noise. A stealth bomber still makes a little noise at minimal throttle and when the air is cold, sound travels further. It was cold that evening. We were very lucky we even spotted it. It was camouflaged so well with the sky.

I looked out the driver side window to see a craft floating without noise, lights were rotating on the bottom. Zoomed quickly.

I was fairly young and didn’t credit myself for a long time. After years of seeing similar reports I felt comfortable speaking on the topic. I was in the backseat seat behind my mom in her car. It was dark outside but not late, I was looking out the window while playing with something. I saw this roughly 30-40ft long white tictac shaped object floating alongside the car but basically in the blind spot and farther out into the field next to the highway. It was maybe 75-100 ft away and I could clearly see some lights on the bottom, I know I recall red and yellow, I want to maybe say anther color as well. When I realized it was strange I asked my mom “what is that”, and briefly looked away, as I looked back I saw it zoom off in lass than a second or two. I know my mom never saw it. When I ask if she remembers that she doesn’t. I don’t have any way of validating my claim but I know what I saw and it’s stayed ingrained in my memory since it happened.

it looked like a slug on fire in the sky

about 9:00 when the sun was setting i was in the parking lot of target eating my dinner and i looked up at the sky and saw something in the sky coming from north and looked to be going north west it looked like fire crossing the sky, if you put your pinky or ring finger up to the sky thats about the thikness it was (the fire) and in the sky in looked about 2-2 1/2 inches long and it looked like there was something in front of it maybe like a rock or something kind of odd shaped and there could have been a space between this and the fire but im not sure. there was absuloutly no sound from it and also no kind of vapor trail or anything behind it. it kind of looked like a slug on fire across the sky it took about 5 minutes before it was just like a red little streak and then it was gone, my boyfriend came out of the store and saw it when it was just a little streak and thought it was a missle but he dident see it when it was big. i think it looked like something that had fallen into the atmosphere. but thats my story it totally triped me out because i have never seen anything like that before.

White wingless object seen flying above Napa California

It was a warm and cloudless day. The driver's side window was down while we were heading west through Napa. A beautiful foothill was directly ahead of the city road we were traveling on. I was thinking that the foothill was georgeous while trying to keep my eyes on the road. Then I saw it! Hey, what is that in the sky? It is straight ahead, noiseless, all white, and oh my, it does not have any wings. My passenger is an amateur photog and never leaves home without his camera so of course, he started snapping photos of the object. We were both puzzled. No sound was coming through my open window, it had no wings, tail, window, no markings at all. It looked like a cigar with rounded ends. Actually, it had no end as the front and back were identical. It was traveling to the right of my car, below the horizon of the foothill, in a steady direction. Noiselessy, effortlessly, smoothly. To me, it appeared to be traveling slowly. My passenger felt it to be traveling rapidly. From the first sighting to the end, we estimated the time of viewing to be about 15 seconds. After looking at a map of the area it appears that it traveled 3 or 4 miles in this time span.

Single green fireball type object, hitting the ground north of Napa, CA.

My wife and I were out for an evening drive, and were headed north down Hwy. 29. Between Napa and Yountville i noticed something in my perhiperal vision (slightly to the left). When I turned to look I saw a massive green fireball headed down towards the ground. It approached the ground at about a 75 degree angle. I would compare the size of the object from about one quarter, to one half the size of the moon. Just before hitting the ground, the object apparently burned out. Distance was approx from .5 to 1 mile away. We called 911 and notified the Sheriff's Dept, told them we had seen an object fall from the sky, but that there was no explosion or impact from what we could tell. The easiest thing I can compare it to would be anti-aircraft fire, when seen from night vision. You know the white/green streaks?

Observed a bronze or amberish orb 1000 ft. up hovering over a residential area for appx 3 mins and then it moved away.

I was driving home, and saw a bronze or amber orb stationary about 1000 ft up. The object was between Queen of the Valley Hospital and Salvador Ave, just east of North Jefferson St. At first I thought it was a planet. I stopped at a stop sign and observed it hovering for about 3 minutes and the light simply faded out. It was directly over a residential area. It reappeared a little ways off from where I originally saw it. Then it started to move and faded away as it moved north west. There was no sound.

It was approximately 1 a.m. and I was returning from my office in Napa with a friend, heading West on Hwy 121. The evening was rather dark, the moon, if it was "up," provided no illumination. The sky was clear and starry with good definition to the horizon except for a hint of ground fog settling in the lowest pockets of the valley floor. Suddenly our attention was drawn by an intensely bright, white light that rose abruptly into the low western sky ahead of us just slightly left of center. Both the nature of its sudden and jerky rise, and the intensity of this light source, caused us to watch the object closely, and it appeared to be either stationary or slowly heading towards us at a constant elevation. As we continued driving, we noticed that it was indeed getting closer and that there were in fact two, not one, bright lights. We also noticed that the lights were not white as first thought, but a very strange amber white that projected from the object like piercing "pencil beams" of light. It also soon became clear to us that out paths would soon cross and this object was no airplane or helicopter. We were about one mile west of the Napa Rd. turnoff when we got our first good look at the object and realized that if its course remained the same, it was going to pass directly over us in a matter of moments. Realizing this, I pulled off the road onto the shoulder and looking up out of my open window, watched it do just that. My best guess on its altitude is about 2000 ft and at it was at least 300 ft across (wide) and approximately 250 ft long. It may well have been even larger if I underestimated its altitude. Its shape was very similar to that of a manta ray (which I realize makes this account seem less credible) with its underside dark and muted browns. The underside was also highly detailed, not spherical and aerodynamic, with what may have been low-profile compartments or holds. The aforementioned 2 lights were on the front of the craft, and between them appeared to be a dimly lit area of some possibly transparent material. The 2 lights were still on as it passed overhead and they were quite unlike anything we had everr seen—intensely bright and focused. It also seemed to have some sort of revolving light arrays at the end of each wing that had briefly emanated a flashing red and white pattern (ike a commercial jet) only moments before. There was no visible means of propulsion as the craft passed silently overhead, but both of us could swear that we could "feel" it, like a low resonant vibration. After it passed overhead, I spun the car around in the shoulder area to pursue the craft, but as I did, the craft bolted southeast, displaying "instantaneous" acceleration, and was some 5 miles away before I had reached the paved road surface. As I reached the roadway, it bolted again and was now only faintly visible some 10-15 miles away, and then it was gone.

Deep Blue Sphere seen over Lake Berryessa, California

Around 1996, at about 1am, I saw a Deep Blue sphere floating over Lake Berryessa, in Northern California. It was a deep deep blue, almost electrical in nature. I watched it float for about 15 seconds. It moved slow enough, to where I wondered how come it didn't fall. It moved from East to West, about 50 to 100 feet above the trees, at the northern part of the lake.

Bright light becomming glowing oval white light with two multi-colored lights zipping by at high rate of speed.

I still remember like it was yesterday. It was a warm August night, (not sure though on the date, either 1993 or 94) and I was out on the front porch at home and I just happened to glance up and saw a very bright blinding light that was moving in my direction. As I looked up it seemed to pick up speed and as the object moved overhead and to the side a bit, the light became an oval glowing white light and I noticed a smaller red glowing light on one side and a small green glowing light on the other. The object whizzed by, arcing downward and disappearing from sight. It made no sound at all. It was very low, just above the tree-tops. I saw no solid mass that the lights could have been attached to, as this sighting took place on a clear, dark, moonless night. Total sighting lasted only about 2 seconds. I was in absolute awe of what I had just seen. I ran around back of the house to see if I could still see anything. At that time I became overcome with fear. I had read stories about men in black showing up at people's doorsteps after seeing a ufo and threatening them not to report such things. With that in the back of my mind, I locked all the doors and told my parents about what I had just seen. Nobody ever showed up at the door.

Although all aircraft are equipped with white lights and a green light on one wingtip and a red light on the other wingtip, this UFO's lights were too dim and too large. They were glowing, not shining, like aircraft lights do. And all the lights were clustered together, unlike an aircraft's. This was completely silent, moved way too fast, and low, to be an aircraft of any kind. It was moving North. This also happened to be around the time that Napa was plagued by unmarked black helicopter traffic for months.

Chevron-slowly flying from SE to NW reminded me of a stealth plane with the edges in red-orange flames. Rest of object was cloaked (invisible)

I was driving in a residential neighborhood, going north, alone in my car when I looked east and saw a V-shaped object, bigger than a football field, with red-orange flames on its edges forming a flaming V. There were no other external features, so if it was a stealth plane, then it was cloaked in invisibility. As soon as I saw the object it began moving from SE to NW at impossible speed. It went from east to west within 2 seconds, starting at an altitude about a half mile and crashing into the earth on the west side of town. I was sure it crashed near Denny's on Solano Ave. It made absoutely no sound. I have been observing UFOs since 1966 and have seen several, one 20-30 feet above me. That's another story.

Triangular UFO SIghting Napa County Summer 1979 (on the way to Lake Berryessa)

Having seen the ABC special ‘Seeing is Believing’ about UFO's recently, I recalled an incident that I had witnessed in Napa county back in 1979 along with a former girlfriend whom I’ve not spoken with since we parted in 1981.

This prompted me to perform an internet Google search (‘Triangular UFO Napa’) which led me to a website in which she had previously posted her recollection of the event in 2002 as per the link below:

My account differs slightly and given the years since, this is probably to be expected. I am writing to corroborate our story and acknowledge that this experience was a true incident. (If for some reason you need to corroborate this sighting with another’s from that area and year, you may contact me via telephone collect. In fact, if you have such information, I would like to read about it)

My personal recollection of the incident follows below: As I recall it was a dark moonless night, but clear as the stars were visible. We had stopped briefly for some KFC takeout in St. Helena and were heading up 128 on our way to Lake Berryessa to meet some friends for a weekend boating trip.

At the crest of a small incline in the road which gave us a southwest view of the valley which was then about 20-30’ below us, Laura first noticed a bright light low on the horizon and pointed it out to me. (To my recollection, it was probably about 11:30pm when we made the initial sighting. When we arrived at the lake it was more like 1:30am as per her account).

My quick assessment was that the object (then perhaps 3/4+ mile away) was just a helicopter perhaps spraying the vineyards, but she remained skeptical. As we proceeded along the grade, it was evident watching the light that the craft was coming slowly in our direction moving perhaps at 10-20mph. Laura was not given easily to fear, and her apprehension made me nervous as I recall. All that was visible was a very bright circular light which hid the details of the object except for perhaps a hint of a horizontal wing form. The surrounding vegetation in front/below of where the object was flying was illuminated by the intense white light emanating from the craft. The object appeared then to be about 15-20’ off the ground.

As we proceeded a bit further up the grade with the object creeping ever closer and higher, we came upon a bend in the road which had a turn out and was surrounded by a grove of eucalyptus(?) trees. I instructed her to pull over and stop the engine so we could hear the motor and determine what the object was. We watched the object come towards us for a few minutes more. It continued to ascend and it wasn’t long before it came directly overhead.

Now directly overhead, the bright light centered on the craft was now facing forward and above us per my recollection. With the light shining away, it was easy to distinguish the triangular shape of the craft against the black sky and stars. Using the height of the 25’ trees as a gauge and having watched the ascent of the object, it appeared then that it was approximately 50’ overhead and perhaps 35’ wide. I would guess it was perhaps 5’ tall in height, but because of the light in front, it was very hard to gauge the shape/size of the object until it was immediately overhead.

My recollection differs here in that I do not recall the object making any sound nor do I remember any colored lights underneath. It was dead quiet as it passed overhead moving at perhaps 15mph and proceeded to climb still higher until it disappeared over the hill behind us. I believe that I saw what appeared to be some sort of metal support system underneath, but it was so dark it is impossible to say with any certainty.

Now rather anxious about what we had just witnessed, we didn’t wait but a minute to start the engine and get out of there. As we were heading around a corner shortly afterwards, two sets of glowing eyes were seen in the bushes alongside of the road. I guessed it was just a pair of deer given the height, but neither of were willing to stop the car and find out what it was, although in hindsight I’m relatively certain it was in fact just a pair of deer or other wildlife as it was a wooded and secluded area.

Now nearing our destination, we came upon a rest area which had a public telephone and stopped. With the hopes that someone could corroborate what we had witnessed, Laura got connected with the Air Force (likely Travis AFB). As I recall from her discussion, the AF indicated that they hadn't spotted any objects on radar nor were any test flights scheduled for the area that evening that might account for the mysterious object we had just seen.

We arrived at our final destination, thankfully, meeting our friends, but late, about 45 minutes by my recollection (which differs from her account of 1 ½ hours). We excitedly told our friends of our experience and they stared at us in utter disbelief and had a great time poking fun at us. Later as we were all sitting around outside gazing at the night sky and talking, we simultaneously witnessed 3 (?) bright objects which came shooting out of nowhere and stop in about a 10 o'clock position on the northwestern horizon, very similar to what we had seen in Yosemite Valley the summer before together along with a different group of friends.

The objects hesitated for a brief moment hovering perhaps at 2000’, and then darted in and out like a game of cat and mouse and with one final push, shot upwards and were gone in the blink of an eye passing through the thin cirrus cloud layer above. That incident lasted but a few seconds in all, but it was enough to convince our friends that perhaps we had seen something after all.

I personally don't recall any jets going after the objects neither before nor after as Laura recounts, but it has been many years and I may have just forgotten. With Travis AFB fairly close by, it wouldn’t surprise me if there were jets in the area at the time.

I Also spotted one with the same three witnesses on 1981 at the Napa fairgrounds while Sammy Hagar performed

at the drive in theater while watching a Bruce Lee Movie, above the screen... a couple of "headlights" appeared on a driveway on the hill... I said there is a UFO and others said No, it is a car. Then the whole bottom of the saucer lit up bright white and then it went straight up into a pin point in a split second. I have pictures of the landing site. also other ships did stunts to the left of the drive in. One flew so low over a house on a hill by a telephone pole with a transformer, that the power went out on the whole house. I have a picture of that house.

while at the drive in at a bruce lee movie I saw two "headlights" on a drive way and the bottom of the saucer lite up with several headlights or one large one, it left the earth and headed up into a pinpoint in one second, a second craft just like the first, went over head later, and did areo tricks under and around trees and at one point went over a transformer on a telephone pole on a house on a hill and the whole house blacked out of electricity at once. There was another incident in 1981 of august with another saucer up close in Napa, CA.

It was early evening, I was eight years old playing down the street (MacCloud St.) at my friends house when an adult nieghbor started pointing towards the sky. we looked and saw a very large object moving very slowly, so we called my friends mom out of the house and we stood on the side walk and watched as this slow moving (approx 10 mph) very large (the size of a large jet liner) with no wings or tail it was completly silent approx 150 yrds off the ground it was moving north to south apeared to be right over drycreek rd. It was a dark gray metalic color and no lights that I can recall. It had large windows down the side to me it resembled the shape of an uncooked hotdog. we watched it for approxamatley 5 or 6 minutes, untill it was to far off to see anymore.It never changed course and never changed altitude.

Two spheres or disks flying together over Solano County, Ca.

My friend and I were at a 4-H summer camp in the hills east of the city of Napa, California, in early August 1969. It was mid-afternoon. We had a broad view eastward into clear skies to very large summer cumulus clouds rising over Solano and Yolo counties and the Sacramento Valley.

We watched two large grey and beige disk or spherical objects fly across the sky from southeast to northwest. They had no markings or lights and left no contrails. Their color seemed to shift from beige or khaki to battleship grey when they neared and flew through the clouds.

They must've been very large, because they appeared to be about the size of my outstretched index fingernail from a distance of several miles and at an altitude about midway among the distant large cumulus clouds which they flew through. They flew at a constant speed, in a tandem formation with the lower one slightly ahead. They never varied their speed or direction.

I think they must've been travelling at around the speed of a commerical jet airliner because they covered the distance from southeast of Vacaville in Solano County to near Mt. St. Helena in Lake County in around three minutes.

Saw a circular craft approximately 30 foot in diameter. It was glowing a green/purple rather subdued. I did not like the color. It hummed when it was motionless. It looked to be about 100ft high and almost directly overhead.

I was 7 years old and was not dreaming as my father told me I was when I went to my parents' bedroom and woke him up to tell him what I was seeing out my south facing window. The object became completely silent when it moved back and forth (west-east) a short distance of perhaps 50 feet. When I returned to my bedroom the object was gone. A very interesting experience for a 7 year old.
