I was driving and I saw it shoot across the sky from left to right very quickly.

I was driving southbound on hwy 101 when I saw the object shoot across the sky from left to right at an incredible speed. It was a saucer shape and had flashing red lights. It then stopped instantaneously and hovered for a second before making a sharp 90 degree turn and shooting off in a different direction at again an insane speed instantly without seeming to have to accelerate. Like that it was gone. I was on the phone with my brother at the time and described what I was seeing to him as it happened.

A slow moving cylinder either emitting white light or highly reflective shimmer.

I was in a dog park at the time. The park is a wide open field with no trees or any other objects obstructing the sky until you hit the hills on the horizon. There were no clouds and no wind. I let my dog off his leash and I took a nice stretch of my back and arms while looking up at the sky.

I saw a very bright white cylinder as long as the width of my thumb high above me, slowly moving west towards the Pacific Ocean. At first I thought it was an airplane reflecting the sunlight back at me. However I noticed there were no wings visible and no contrails. Looking around the sky, I could see 3 other airplanes clearly all having contrails and zero light reflection. This object either has to be solidly emitting extremely bright light, or, somehow catching the sunlight and reflecting it like a polished mirror. It didn't make a sound that I could hear. It was moving at an even pace, slow enough the it would take a minute or so before it would reach the hills on the horizon. I watched it for about 30 seconds. I glanced down to see where my dog was who was 10 feet in front of me. I looked right back up and it was gone. I couldn't find it anywhere in the sky and when I looked away it had quite a way to go before passing the horizon.

A few minutes later I asked another guy who was with his dog at the park if he saw the same thing. He said the object just vanished "in the blink of an eye". Both of us were impressed by what we saw, but it didn't shock us. Talking for a bit, turns out we both have seen other objects in the sky that are unexplainable in our lifetimes.

Saw two lights that look like bright stars, much higher than planes, moving in straight line very quickly in near opposite directions.

While sitting outside looking up at big dipper at our camp site, not far from an airport so any planes are relatively low, we saw two objects which would appear like stars, but closer. One was not as bright as the other or looked as big. The brighter traveled from North to South in direction while the other traveled more in a south eastern direction. There were no flashing or oscillating lights and to make things really exciting, a plane also flew in our field of view to really show the difference. Given the apparent height, the speed must have been incredibly high as it was much faster looking than the lower plane. Both objects travels in a relatively straight path. Sadly, though my phone was in my hand, I was too excited to think about trying to record it.

I was stargazing with one of my friends on a field at an. elementary school, around 11:30 at night, when we saw a star-like light appear, I had seen similar ones a month earlier and thought they were UFOs too. It wasn’t blinking or twinkling and wasn’t a star, plane, or satellite.

When it moved it kind of wavered and moved in one direction, and then curved and went faster and suddenly disappear. And then. Like five minutes later, another one appears in a different part of the sky, it does the same thing and goes in the opposite direction of the other one and disappears.

LIGHTS DILLON BEACH, PETALUMA CA non blinking or twinkling lights that looked like stars but moved in ways I have never seen!

Me and five of my friends drove out to Elephant Rocks near Dillon Beach to stargaze. We saw some shooting stars and then at around 10:30 pm we saw two lights appear. They looked just like stars.

However, they weren’t blinking or twinkling, they were moving very fast, they were curving and not moving in the way a satellite or plane would. One seemed to be following the other, and then the brighter one curved around and they crossed paths very close and then went in separate directions and suddenly disappeared without a trace.

And then like 10 minutes later we saw another one in a completely different part of the sky, it was almost wavering slightly and seemed to be rotated almost. And then it changed directions and started going very fast and was able to cross the whole horizon in around 2 minutes and then disappeared like the other ones.

Within the skies during the beginning of this given time frame: small orb-like circle is summoned. 2 still diamond shape figures are afloat within the higher skies above the orb. Some time ones by before 4 circle-like figures, in a rectangle shape adjacent from one another, are birthed and travel around and beyond the orb like light; which is also simultaneously growing to be bigger and bigger.

Another set of 4 circle-like ufo figures are suddenly birthed and summoned to follow the previous set of 4 rectangle like formation to near exact motion of direction of the ones prior. In the mean time the orb within the sky has grown dramatically and is clearly vivid and non moving of its location until suddenly is vanished.

This is a very rare phenomen here; meaning that even if there has been ufo sightings here in a minuscule manner that this is out of the ordinary. There have been multiple witnesses known via social media outlets that have witnessed and Recorded this phenomenon in multiple different angles within this given location.

Strange grouping of lights hovering in the S.F. bay areanight sky

I am a ranger/landscape supervisor who works for a county agency. The other witness is my parish priest.

After a church class, while driving my pickup truck exiting our church parking lot, I saw our parish priest standing at the side of the church, looking up into the night sky in a south east direction. I stopped my truck and asked what he was looking at. He stated that there were some odd looking lights in the sky.

I got out of my truck and went to where he was standing and looked up and saw 5 distinct reddish orange lights in the sky, hovering at different places, but in a grouping. The lights were moving very slowly.

A couple of lights moved vertically, and then hovered, and then a couple moved laterally very slow. One of the lights rose and then faded into nothing. Another light faded when an airplane seemed like it was getting close to it. One more light rose and then faded into nothing, until the last light descended in altitude and finally disappea! red altogether.

The lights seemed to be quite a distance from us. I would guess they were probably 20 miles away, and maybe 5000 to 8000 feet high.

All of the lights moved independently of each other, but were in the same grouping or vicinity of each other.

UFO over Petaluma on August 28, 2016, @ approximately 7:30 pm.

My nine-years-old son was in the backyard and noticed a light in the sky, mentioning that it was too early for the stars and it this one didn’t even look like one.

I came out and saw a bright object, obviously not a star, staying in one spot with the sun clearly reflecting off it. Got binoculars and couldn’t believe my eyes. It looked like a semi-transparent sphere with five white lights under it.

Gave my son the binoculars and asked him what he sees. His words were: “No way, no way.” He also saw the lights underneath it. Called my husband to come out and look. By then the object wasn’t transparent but was an oval shape and reflecting the sun like metal.

The object was there for approximately an hour, and then began slowly drifting east until it disappeared.

I took a (very bad) picture with my phone but was only be able to capture a faint light spot in the sky. But the picture has a date and time stamp.

Dull orange orb over Petaluma, CA, for over five minutes 2/6/2016, a portion of which was a very bright, fiery orange.

While sitting on my sofa watching the Golden State Warriors game against the Thunder, saw a dull orange circular object appear through the window in the southeast. Walked outside to see what it was and this orange orb was slowly moving in a generally southeasterly direction. It had a brighter portion which was about 10% of the total size of the object and that part was slowly rotating in an irregular pattern around and through the object. Grabbed my binoculars out of the car and was able to see clearly that that brighter orange glow rotating continued and in trying to identify it the only thing that it was remotely like was a large balloon with a gondola slung underneath it. In this case though, the gondola was on fire as it was significantly brighter than the rest of the object. But the way this brighter portion was moving was not predictable and did not have an obvious pattern or rhythm to it. The dimmer portion of the orb looked to have a semblance of a grid-like appearance, but when the brighter portion of the glow moved across the face of it, the grid was no longer visible due to the greater intensity of the light.

After about four minutes of relatively slow and consistently paced movement from my right to left, it appeared to turn south and head toward San Francisco roughly. It moved away at a regular pace for several seconds and then appeared to speed up significantly until it became too small to view and then disappeared. The speed of this last part seemed unlike anything that I've seen before, as though the physics I am aware of were no longer operating on this object. The disappearance from view in the last ten seconds essentially happened too fast to be explained by any previous experience I've had. There was no sound involved at all.

This is the first time that I have ever seen, much less reported, anything like this. Until I did a Google search on 'orange object in the night sky over Petaluma tonight,' I was unaware of websites like this. I'm a totally sane person and this was in no way imagined. I'm a professional IT Project Manager and have been in the industry for many years with increasing levels of responsibility. Folks like me are pretty grounded as a rule or would not be able to survive in these kinds of roles for long. Keeping calm under great pressure is a prerequisite for this work.

I've got no idea who reads these entries or what is done with them, but felt that if there is something weird around and others have seen the same thing, maybe it is a good idea to report.

Silver Conical Craft with Exceptionally Bright Light over Petaluma California

At 6:00pm on Saturday November 07, 2015, I was driving on S. McDowell Blvd, entering the Baywood Dr Rotary.

On my right, roughly 500 feet in the air, I saw a large matte silver cone, about 60 feet in height.

The tip was pointed upward at a 25 degree angle and the craft was rising at about 40mph.

From the bottom of the cone, a bright xenon-ish white light, roughly 10,000,000 candle watt, expended in a sharply defined line, that broadened into a conical shape, 300 feet behind it.

The craft entered low hung clouds, which illuminated the clouds but the sharply illuminated line remained, suspended in the air, much like an airline chemtrail.

The illuminated line, remained for over 3 minutes, slowly dimming, until it was barely visible.

I counted at least 7 vehicles passing by me on Baywood Dr but none had stopped to watch. One briefly entered the on-coming traffic lane, which I assume, was from watching the event.

I took out my cell phone to shoot a video but I did not record anything viable.

I am familiar with all types of aircraft, military & civilian, this was neither.

Usually when an illumination source is extinguished, so is the light it projects. This illuminated line remained after the craft & it's conical light were no longer visible.

RED AND GREEN LIGHT SEEN HOVERING OVER PETALUMA, CALIFORNIA

On the night of July 4, 2014, my husband and I went to the Petaluma Fairgrounds in Sonoma County, California, to watch the fireworks as we have done for several years. A few minutes into the show, I saw what I thought was an airplane flying by in the distance, and I remarked to my husband how nice it was that the passengers got to see the fireworks. As we continued to watch the fireworks with the aircraft in the distance behind the light display, I saw the craft suddenly change direction which immediately piqued my interest. I again pointed out the craft to my husband to note its change in direction. The craft that we were watching did not have any discernible form other than the light coming from it, which would change from bright, flashing red, to a bright flashing green, and would also stay solidly colored in each tone as well (not flashing) with no discernible pattern to the change in color or flashing patterns. We continued to watch this craft move from! side to side across the horizon, which at my best guestimation would be perhaps the distance of a few miles (again it was difficult to tell it’s height and true distance from us in relation to the horizon) but it was as high as the fireworks were and would disappear below the horizon, only to rise again, many times hovering perfectly still with no movement whatsoever, to quickly moving to the left or right, then up and down. When the fireworks ended, only about a 20 minute show, so we saw this occur for about 10-15 minutes, the craft went below the horizon and we thought it had gone, only to get up and prepare to leave and we saw it again. This time it was leftward to us, moved back and forth a few times over the course of maybe 3-4 minutes and then made a final descent below the horizon.

I would like to state that I am definitely a skeptic of so-called UFO sightings. This is not the sort of thing that I seek out, that thrills me, or even particularly scares me, I primarily just laugh these sorts of things off whether heard from someone or in say a movie. I am perhaps mostly just in a state of disbelief. No aircraft that I have ever seen or even know of can behave or perform in the manner I saw this craft do tonight. Hovering perfectly, perfectly still, moving from side to side at higher speeds than even a helicopter can move (that I have seen at least), disappearing below the horizon, only to reappear, move about, and then disappear. Unfortunately again we could not discern a shape other than that of the light. The only lights I have seen associated with traditional aircraft seen in the sky would be a blinking red light or a variation therein. This had distinctive brightness, distinctive change from red to green, and change in solid light to blinking. I have! never seen anything like this before, and I knew immediately that I needed to find some place to report this. I believe that I have witnessed a true unidentified flying object, and I am interested to look further into others’ reports of similar experiences.

Brilliant stationary multi color lights for nearly one hour over Petaluma, CA.

Looking out my second story bedroom sliding glass door, in the north west sky, I saw what I first thought was a very brilliant multicolored star. I put on my glasses and knew it wasn’t a star. Red, blue, green, white lights were glittering in an indeterminate pattern on a stationary object. Occasionally, the lights were a crystal white bright, but always changing and moving. The object did not move up and down at all, nor did it appear to move toward or away from me.

I grabbed binoculars and that improved my view a bit, but the object seemed to be quite far away. I awakened my spouse who confirmed he saw the same thing.

After about 20 minutes the oject tilted to the right, maybe a 20-30 degree angle, then stayed in that position for the duration of my ability to view it.

The lights continued to glitter, change color and move mostly from the left to the right of the object, but sometimes the colored lights moved more up and down.

Nearing 0330, the fog began to roll in and the object seemed to sink very slowly, over about a 5–10 minute time frame, until I was no longer able to see it at all.

The object was a small round shape that could be mistaken for a satellite had it not been for it's speed. It's color was an orange and white combination. It traveled from south to north in about 7-10 seconds, much faster than any satellite can travel. There is nothing that travels as fast as what we saw!

White/Orange sphere races across San Francisco area sky.

While sitting enjoying the evening on our backyard deck, a friend of ours jumps up and says "WHAT'S THAT?" Our friend was looking toward the southern horizon.

I quickly jumped up to see. The object by this time was midway across the sky. (about 2 second period). At first I couldn't see what my friend was seeing because my house momentarily blocked my vision.

However, within a half a second, I saw a white/orange circular object racing across the sky. Inside of three seconds, it had faded into the northern horizon. The total time it took the object to cross from the southern to northern horizon was about 5 to 6 seconds. I have NEVER seen anything move that fast in my life! It did not seem to have a tail from my vantage point.

comet like sighting over 101 petaluma area

On 3-20-13 at 1316hrs while driving south-bound on HWY 101 coming down the Cotati grade I noticed what appeared to be a white comet with two tails (about 80 meters long) high in the sky. The object appeared to be about 4 to seven miles away and about 15,000 feet up. It appeared to be traveling slowly heading south, as the tail was behind the object. After a minute or two the object stated to lose altitude and seemed to face my general direction. The tail was no longer visible during this time and only the white round cloud color could be seen. As I exited the first Petaluma off-ramp the object appeared low about 500 to 700 feet and at a distance of about 1 mile. The white color I had seen was gone, and for a brief moment I saw a round solid object and then I lost it behind the trees. I kept looking in the area but could not see it again. the tail on the object would disappear after about 80 yards.

two sightings in Petaluma

On 10-3-12 around 2130hrs my fiancée witnessed about 7 solid white UFOs at a low altitude in west Petaluma. The objects were low (about 100feet) and appeared to be hovering just above the large hill up from English street. She saw them from a distance of about a mile (from city hall) and watched them for about two minutes from inside a vehicle before going inside. She reported there was a group of three that formed a perfect triangle. This triangle was hovering just above the largest oak tree at the top of hill. It appeared to her that the light from the craft was illuminating the tree line at the top of the hill. She also stated there were about four other craft the same while color but not as bright in the same area but perhaps a little further away. Most of her attention was on the three large in the triangle formation. I called the local police and they did not have any reports for this incident. I pretty sure other people must have seen it, ! as there are houses very close to the sighting.

About a week prior my buddy’s wife saw a UFO near the power sub-station on Stony Point road in the daylight. This sighting was followed by two helicopters and a jet apparently pursuing the craft. She described one helicopter as black and the other as camouflage. She did not give a description of the jet. The UFO appeared to resemble a meteorite from the cell phone picture she took (sorry I cannot up load the photo). This object was seen near Meacham Rd and stony point.

8 twinkling orangish-light reddish starlike lights, starting at low altitude-climbing to 5k-10k and wink out

Petaluma Sonoma county California Sept 22, 2012 7:46pm My girlfriend and I were traveling south on 101, just past the truck pull off area on the hill between Petaluma and Rhonert Park just after dark. On the Petaluma side. We pulled off the highway and stopped, facing in a southerly direction.

Red Honda Civic in case anybody saw us.

We saw 5 lights, in a generally straight line and roughly equidistant. Slowly traveling east and ascending.

They were a light, muddy red color, 2-3x larger than a planet in the sky and noticeably twinkling. Twinkling a bit too much for a lower altitude "light".

When we first noticed them, the furthest away and lowest light was at our right and just above the hills on the coast hills on the west side of the north Petaluma farmland, about 6 miles away, perhaps near and above the Two Rock Coast Guard station/Tracon Petaluma (707) 765-7000. Maybe at 500-1000 ft above the ground.

The closest light to us was to our south, in front of us and higher than the one to the right.

Then, 3 formed a loose group up high in front of us and winked out. The other 2 traveled towards where the loose group was and winked out, one by one, in about the same area, at maybe 6000 to 10,000 ft. They stayed about the same size, maybe a little larger as they traveled from our right, to right ahead of and above us.

After the first 3 disappeared and the other two started traveling in the same direction, 2-3 other new identical "lights" winked into existence low over the hills to our right, roughly equally spaced and followed the others to the same general area and winked out.

We tried to call Petaluma Coast Guard Tracen. Not open.

It wasn't airplanes or helicopters - no red beacon or red/green nav lights.

They moved too quickly to be balloons and too slow for jets and who ever heard of jets forming a sloppy 3 unit group in 6 miles? No matter which direction these objects were traveling (it seemed that their direction varied slightly), their brightness remained consistent.

The surface winds were light and from the west.

It wasn't high altitude objects with the setting sun reflecting on it, because we were on the wrong side of the object for a reflection.

The objects were to far away to hear if they made any sound.

Literally, 300-500 people must have passed us on the highway.

Accompanying is a Google Earth kmz file showing where we were stopped on the highway and aprox where we determined that the objects appeared to the west.

Looking up north in the sky, probably above Santa Rosa, I noticed a bright orange object moving west. I watched it looking for flashing lights like a plane would have but it only had the orange color. So then I thought maybe it was a satelite but the color didn't make sence. Plus this thing was really high up in the sky. So then suddenly it looked like it stopped and the light started to dim and then it was gone like in few seconds. It gave me the chills cause to me it was definitely a UFO. It was very exciting to see. I hope there is other reports about this.

Small white point of light seen jumping around randomly and disappearing then reappearing

At 2:30 AM I was lying down and looking out through our large windows into the night sky. After a while I noticed a point of light, about the same size as a star, but smaller than Venus) to be making random maneuvers. It would zig-zag, do small loops and generally bounce around as if it had no mass. The object appeared in the North, at about 30 degrees elevation from horizontal, distance appeared to be quite large and at arm's length distance the object was about 2 or 3 mm across.

I tried to get a camera to get a video of it or some stills but the light level was too low for it to register on the cameras' sensors.

In addition to the random movements, it also stared flash on and off, disappearing for a few seconds at a time.

Eventually it was no longer visible, I did not see it exit the scene.

Blue sphere near the moon on the night of the eclipse

On the evening of the eclipse in Aug 2007, I had decided to chronicle the event via my digital camera. The plan was to take a couple of pictures every 15 minutes or so. I went to my backyard prior to the start of the eclipse to take the first pictures. A beautiful full moon on a clear night. After the first shot I noticed a blue spehere directly below the moon in the camera screen. (Looking at a clock, it would have been at the six). Thinking that is was from the camera, I changed the setting and took another picture. It seemed ok. Last night I developed the pictures.

The first picture had the sphere at six, to the left of the moon (at the 9 postion) is what appears to be a chain of gold/metallic spheres linked together and curved. There are what appear to be additional gold/metallic spheres on the roof the house behind mine. To the right at roof line is a very large bright light in what appears to be a street light.

In the second picture the blue sphere is at the 5 position. The chain of spheres is below and behind the blue sphere, again at the 5 position. It now looks straight. The spheres on the roof have moved to the right. The street light has moved from the right of a tree or roof toward the left so that it is now in the middle of that. It looks more like street light in this second picture.

After I took the second picture I went into the house and fell asleep. I have seen some strange things in the past in the sky in Petaluma and San Rafael, but this is first time I have photos.

Bright white lights seen in Northeastern Sonoma County Skies on 28 Dec 2006

Saw two crafts total, one in the northeast skies and another one in the southwest skies. The one in the northeast appeared very bright with 4 lights and multicolored "carnival" lights outlining the entire craft and hovered for a very long time and then just begam to fly towards the other light in the southwest. The other lights appeared like "cat eyes", a color blue that I cannot describe, but were much like a dusty sky blue and not bright in any way. This craft was just staying in one spot and remained there. The other craft just vanished. The skies that night were starless, and no wind, and very cold.

2 Flashes of light in the Petaluma Country

Driving home on the Petaluma-Nicasio Road, I witnessed a flash that lit up the horizon (behind mountains) in front of me. I clearly saw the outline of the Mtn. Range. The road continues up to the top of that Mtn. (Overlooking an olive orchard) I pulled over and waited outside my car with the flashers on so I wouldn't get hit. A car that was a few miles behind me, (or at least 5 minutes) pulled up and asked if I had seen the flash. I told them I had. After a short while I got back in my car to continue my drive. (It was really cold out) After no more than 30 seconds in the car, I saw the next Mtn. range in front of me light up as I had the last. It was a strange experiance to say the least. I can't think of any light I have seen so bright. We are talking 10 miles of Mtn. profile that lit up. I don't think a transformer blowing up could do that. However, I'm not sure I rule out the possibility of a metiorite quite yet.

Something to note: I did see more animals on this road than I typically do. There were aircraft in the area, however, I am unsure as to weather they were civilian or military.

6 small disks grouped together, changing formation, variable brightness, visible for 15 minutes, no clouds.

I was walking through a suburban neighborhood when I noticed 6 bright white objects flying closely together high in the sky (about 50-60 deg elevation). My initial impression was that they were birds. There is a local species of white crane, but I have never seen them flock like this. Moreover, these objects appeared to be much higher than the altitudes at which local birds fly. They were disk like and traversed the sky from SE to NW. At one point they circled. They changed formation, appearing as a straight line, a large "v", an "s" curve, 2 "v" shapes, and random grouping but still close together. They stayed together for the entire time I observed them (if they had been balloons, I would have expected one or more of them to drift away from the others). Their reflectivity/brightness varied as they moved across the sky, appearing very bright at one point, then almost disappearing before brightening back up.

rapidly blinking far off red and blue bright lights

Last night we (my boyriend and i) were urged (through a message board) by a friend in alabama to look into the sky to see if we saw anything unusual, we were bored so we did... we found two very very bright lights in the south eastern sky that were flashing rapidly (very rapidly... not like typical star twinkling... we camp and stargaze quite often) they seemed to be flashing red white and blue and when looking through binoculars I thought they seemed to be a grouping, not a singular item... they stayed stationary as the stars moved over the course of an hour before we went to bed.... Tonight both of those objects are gone and there is another one in the eastern part of the sky that has moved slowly (yet more rapidly than the stars) and has the same description but with slower blinking and a slightly fainter light... I have seen sattelites before and this does not appear to be one.... They appeared to be large and very very far off... I thought I might be able to find out about it online (maybe it was an earth launced craft or probe or something) and have found nothing.....

what are these? stars don't normally appear one place one night and another far off place the next

looked like a flickering planet but a little larger than the largest thats visable to the naked eye.

when i went outside in my backyard to smoke a cigar, i saw what looked like a planet, i check them out every night , i go to my garage and turn on KSRO radio station 13.50 to listen to the Jeff Rense show so i am somewhat familar with sightings etc. i have heard jeff talk about sending info to this research co up in seatle washinton, but i did not think that i would need to or ever see anything. anyway i saw what looked to be a planet which looked like a large bright star kind of flickering just over my roof line like i have seen before, but after i went back outside i went straight up and out of sight from what looked like it was sitting still. it dissapeard in just a in about a 1/2 second. i did not tell my wife because she does not take a interest as i do. i am a construction foreman an am recovering from back sugery so i have time on my hands and have been trying to find out as much as i can about ufo,s and ebe,s from classified documents from the aif force and all agencys i can think of but not having much luck.i have found many sites on the computer but not much info other than speculation. frustrated ((name deleted)).

Two white flashes light up Northern California sky

Driving home at night south on Hwy. 101 in Northern California in the Petaluma vicinity, I saw a white flash of light from an unknown source behind the hills that lit up the horizon in front of me. At first I surmised that maybe my eyes were playing tricks on me from the long drive I'd been doing from Reggae On The River, or maybe it was a reflection of oncoming cars' headlights, but then, about twenty minutes later when I was coming down the Waldo Grade toward the Golden Gate Bridge - it happened once again! The whole southern horizon beyond the city of San Francisco down below me lit up for a split second! Weather conditions were completely clear with no clouds, so I'm sure it couldn't have been lightning that caused it. I was astonished when the flash happened again the second time, thinking I might have been mistaken in what I'd seen at first some minutes and distance before. I could not see any craft or airplane in the sky either time, and I heard no noise as my windows were rolled up and the events must have been quite a distance away.

Observer is a professional person in her mid 40's that has resided in Bay Area for all of her lifetime, and has previously witnessed three other, more dramatic and detailed UFO events. Observer was not under the influence of alcohol, etc., as observer was driving at time of the event.

The single object was first spotted from moving car. It crossed over the road and was watched for 2 to 3 min.from outside car, until it was obscured by buildings as it moved near the horizon. Object moved steadily, at moderate speed from approximately South to North. Object appeared dull silver in color.Its shape was like two cones, joined at the rims, but with the tips truncated, so that it appeared somewhat saucer-shaped, but about as tall as it was wide. Several short, dark rods were seen near the bottom, arranged radially, with respect to the center of the object. Clouds over small aircraft airport flashing coded laser light to ground or vice versa, animals making noise

This is really mysterious. My 2 daughters and I were up in the middle of the night but I forgot what we were doing. My younger daughter (a teenager) went out to get something out of her car on the street of our subdivision culdesac and came back in afraid of something going on outside. She called her sister to go outside to see it with her. they didn't want to tell me because they knew I'd get in the car and go investigate it. So they stayed out there for about 10 minutes and then came running in to get me to come look at it too. They were scared and shaking all over, talking fast, explaining to me that they were seeing some sort of coded message going on with light across the field from our subdivision at a small aircraft airfield.

First of all, every animal for miles around was making noise. It was amazing to me that not one person got up to see what all the noise was about. Not one light went on in any houses around us. Every dog in all the neighborhoods we could hear were barking their heads off. The cows and sheep in the pastures around our subdivision for miles were mooing and baaing, without stopping. Constant. Something was going on, that was for sure. I'd never before or since experienced such a thing with the animals. There was a slight fog in the air, so that sounds were sort of muted or diffused. Even though it was dark out and the sky was dark, we could see this cloud formation over at this little air field at the end of our subdivision, which was east of us.

We were in farmland area. The airport was only supposed to be for small aircraft, yet many times in the middle of the night, we heard big, loud, jets coming in for landings that woke us up with the booming of the jet whining as it came down and I feared it would crash into our house. Or land on our house, it was so low and so close. I wondered about that all the time. Many times, also, I would wake up in the middle of the night to broad daylight, I thought, as helicopters were in my backyard with bright lights shining in my high ceiling windows that I didn't have blinds for, shining lights into our yard. The helicopters were so low, they shook the house and were so loud, they woke us up along with the lights. I wondered why the neighbors never complained about this as it was a constant source of aggravation to us. I always suspected something funny was going on at that little airport, because these big aircraft, helicopters and things weren't supposed to be coming in and landing there. I don't remember hearing any taking off, either. Only landing.

This one night with all the animals raising a ruckus, tho, something even stranger was going on. The girls pointed out to me a light across from us, across the field and landing strips of the small airfield that was either coming up from the ground going into the clouds or coming from the clouds going to the ground. It was impossible to tell because it would suddenly be there and then gone, in a straight bright thin light between the ground and the clouds. But it was a single white light like a laser light that would flash really fast and then go out in very sequential patterns like morse code. We stood shivering on the lawn watching it and counted as it would go, one, two, three, stop. One two three, four, stop. One, two, stop. One two, stop. Sometimes it would go all the way up to 21 and stop. But it would have repeating patterns of numbers. I never knew morse code, but I remember WWII movies and how it sounded as they tapped it out. This looked like what it would sound like, or it was obviously some message or code being played out before our eyes. It would pause between sets of numbers and then do another round of them.

We stood there in the damp darkness, watching for at least 15 minutes, counting and wondering if we should be writing this down to see if someone could figure it out later. Someone who knew codes. The fog was weird, too, because it wasn't everywhere. It was here and there in patches, otherwise, it was a clear night. The whole night and outside had a strange, surreal feel to it. Not quite right. Something weird going on here. There were no clouds anywhere else but over the airfield where the light was going on and off. It was no beacon to warn planes and no spotlight. I'd never seen it before or after in the 7 years I lived there. I wanted to get in my car and drive over there and see what was going on, close up, but the girls were too afraid and wouldn't let me go. They made me come in the house after awhile and were afraid of what was there and what it was doing. We watched out our living room window for another hour or more and it continued, unabated, while the animals never stopped making noise. Finally, we got tired and closed up all the windows and went to bed. I don't know how long it went on before we saw it or how long after we went to bed with all the animals howling. I still can't figure out how it didn't wake up the rest of the neighborhood, but not one opened a window and told their dogs to shut up or anything else. It was like we were the only ones alive on the planet or in the neighborhood to see and witness it. About a year before that, we were standing talking in the driveway at night in the dark, and we saw a triangular black object with lights underneath slowly and silently go overhead while we watched it cruise by. It was pretty high up and very dark. Nothing reflected off it and it seemed flat and triangular. It came from the east, where the airport was and kept on going west right by us. I thought it was probably one of our military planes.

If anyone has ever heard of anything like these laser lights going from sky to ground or ground to sky of clouds, I would like to hear about it and figure out what it was. It's been on my mind and I keep wondering what it could have been, what we should have done differently to find out and to try to find out what we saw. Why we saw it and no one else woke up. Why the animals were carrying on. The helicopters bothered us the whole time we lived there. They also bothered us where we moved to where I saw another sighting I reported, in Santa Rosa. In fact, black helicopters have been bothering us ever since 1973, in every state and place we've lived.

Bright white disk, traveling rapidly in a straight line from Northwest to North toward the horizon.

The object appeared and immediately grew very bright (as bright as the brightest star in the sky) and about two and a half times as large as the biggest star seen in the sky. As soon as it had reached its maximum brightness, it moved in a straight line from the northwest, where it first appeared, to the north. Within about half to three quarters of a second it had gone behind a tree so I could no longer keep track of it. It was much too fast for an aeroplane or satellite, and considerably slower than a meteorite. I couldn't really tell its altitude. Its elevation started at about 40 degrees above the horizon and was at about 35 degrees when I lost sight of it.

We saw and followed a bright light for quite a number of miles on a summer evening in July of 1997.

On July 2, 1997 at about 9:00p.m. my friend I pulled up in front of my apartment building. We were chatting a few minutes before we went to our respective houses. As I started to get out of the car to unlock the passenger door (the lock was broken at that time). We both noticed a halogen bright light appear above the shopping center that is about the length of a football field away. We both assumed that it was the lights of the center comming on for the evening. As I got out of the car I saw that the lights were not yet on and I assumed that it was a small plane. The city airport is about two miles away. As I was walking around the car and looking up a small plane came into view. And I could clearly tell that it was not a plane. When I got to the door the light started ascending and moving in a northward direction. I ran back around to the drivers side and hopped inside, and said "Well what do you think? Let's go?" My friend said ok. We began to follow this light for about two miles on Petaluma Blvd. (This road runs parrell with 101.) The light stopped moving, so I drove into a parking lot. When I stopped the car we could clearly see the light above the tops of some trees. The lights began to move and it looked triangular, and it appeared to sway in pendulum fashion. It then began to descend. We could then see it through the trees. And it began to move north again. All of the movements were very slow. We got back onto Petaluma Blvd. and continued to go north for several miles. It then stopped again. We turned West onto Petaluma Blvd. over 101 to get gas. The light then began to move very slowly west. We got onto Stony Point road and went in a northwest direction and then turned onto Liberty road heading west. We stayed on this road watching this light until we reached Petaluma Valley Ford road. The light was moving out toward the Two Rock Coast Guard station. We were stopped at the stop sign. We then turned east and headed back toward Petaluma. The light appeared to be headi! ng out toward the ocean. During this sighting it seemed almost as if this light/object were doing survey or taking pictures. It moved very slowly most of the time ascending and descending and appearing to change shape.

It was after midnight, about 1:30 A.M., the 17th of June, 1997. I went out to the deck to have a smoke. The moon was below the horizon and the night sky was very dark. Because of the lack of moonlight the stars shone very brightly. While I was looking at the stars I noticed what seemed to be a flashing white star moving across the sky. This object was a great distance away and had no red or green lights. It was just a flashing white object. The object was due east and almost directly overhead. It was at an 80 degree angle of elevation. I called to my brother to come and take a look at it. After he stepped out on the deck he noticed a different object. It was much closer, approximately 2 to 5 miles away. It was a very bright, luminescent white. It appeared to be fixed in the sky. He pointed directly at this object and I looked where he pointed. He started to say, "Hey what's that over there?" He managed to get out just the "Hey..." part. The object, which was about 30 degrees above the horizon and towards the south, moved. It shot from its stationary position at a speed faster than either of us have ever seen anything move. It flew parallel to the fence in the backyard and was gone, our further view of it blocked by the house. Just as this object, which appeared to be about the size of a loaf of french bread, dissapeared from sight, we saw way off in the sky a shooting star and right away a second one. Neither of us spoke a word for the next few minutes. We were, it's hard to put into words, we were both stunned, shocked. It was so bright and moved so fast. We stayed out for about another half an hour and speculated as to what it could possibly have been. We both had the impression that whatever it was, somehow it was aware of the fact that we were aware of it. The fact that it shot off like that just as my brother pointed to the object to bring it to my attention seemed so weird. We tried to find out if anyone else had seen anything at all like what we'd seen that night without any luck.

A triangular formation of about 10 glowing,reddish lights suddenly appear and fly silently overhead.

On May 13, 1997, at about 21:00 local time my then 19 year old son and I were standing in front of his apartment on North Petaluma Blvd. in Petaluma, California. A minute before, I had just seen a normal meteorite in that direction of the sky so now we were both looking to the east hoping to see another one. Suddenly a triangular formation of about 10 reddish, glowing lights appeared or "came on" and flew completely silently overhead from south to north. They were in such perfect formation that it seemed to be a single craft except for the fact that at one moment several of the lights split quickly apart from the formation then just as quickly reformed and held perfect formation for the remainder of the sighting. Another odd thing was that I could see through or in-between the lights but there appeared to be a shimmering quality to this space between the lights, like looking through water. Each individual light seemed to be diamond in shape and had a light quality similar to a glowing coal. Not knowing what I was looking at, it was hard to judge the altitude of the object but if I had to guess, I would say it was at least twice as large as a 747 and about 3000 ft altitude. The total sighting lasted about 30 seconds and the lights simply “blinked out”. My son and I examined each other’s story immediately after the sighting. We both saw exactly the same thing. I am 43, an airline pilot for a major airline and an amateur astronomer.

Saw darting object in the night sky, move fast, stop, move fast stop. Then it flew low over my house and I heard the UFO.

Off in the distance, north/west a jarting lighted object was seen. Stop, jart forward then stop. In a back and forth movement. This object was observed by my 2 children for 3 days. I wouldn't look until the 3rd day because I thought the kids were making it up. They watched it and kept yelling for me to look. Finally on the 3rd night, I looked and saw it jarting back and forth. Then the shock! It flew right over my house. I could HEAR IT. It whooshed, quiet sound, just like that a whoose. It was right over the house, it looked like a bonnet, the top was flattened and where it flatted to meet the brim, were the lights. All around the brim were individual lights, yellow, blues, and whitish yellow. The lights seemed to go from low beam to high beam constantly, like pulsing lights. When it flew towards my house, I was in shock and got scared. When it was above the house, it was hard to tell the size,it was more than 3 houses long and a block wide, and I could hear it. I called the police when I saw it off in the distance, but they treated me like a moron. This siting was never in the news or the papers. 8 years later in the local paper, someone asked about seeing it, and the reporter said, yes the whole town had reported it. So, maybe you have other reports of it. I have for years been trying to find someplace to report it and hope to god, I have found the right spot. This was definately, a UFO, and hearing it is something I have not heard anyone else report hearing, only seeing. The sound of this UFO was a whoooooosh, a quiet sound, no motor sound, not an airplane sound. More like waving a stick in the air, but this was quiet, hugh sound. It's speed was fast, it moved from the distance to over my house in a split second. Yet, slow enough for me to see the lights, and hear it. All my windows were closed, not double paned windows, so sounds can be heard. Amazing, frightening and I am very angry at this city repressing the sighting. If you were to question this city, I know you would hear from everyone that saw it. I saw it in the north/west and when it came toward me and flew over my house that would have been south.

Around the outside edge of the dark red grid, there was a shimmering orange aura

I was in the ham radio room of my house in Petaluma, California on the evening of April 28, 1981. That evening I was listening to activity on a local northern California ham repeater. One of the guys came up and announced that there was a station on the air from a rare african country.

I was interested in working that station, so I needed to go out to the back yard to crank up my tower all the way to the 50 foot level.

When not being used, I normally left my tower cranked all the way down to the 20 foot level. That is because if strong winds came, I wouldn't have to worry about the possibility of the tower and antennas coming down on my roof- or the neighbors.

When I got outside, I cranked the tower all the way up. It took a couple of minutes to do it. As I had finished the cranking, I stood there with my hand on the crank, catching my breath and looking up at the antenna and sky.

One thing I noticed was that for an April night, it was unusually warm outside; it seemed like it wasn't that early in the year, it was so warm.

Also I noticed how clear the sky was, it was a completely clear and starry night and it was calm.

As I was looking up at the antenna and sky, suddenly I saw from the corner of my left eye a very bright light up in the sky approach from a northerly direction.

(I was standing there facing in an easterly direction.) It came so fast, in a fraction of a second, that I didn't know what was happening.

The best way that I can describe it, from the brief instant that it was there, was that it was an extremely bright flash of white light, coming from the north.

The next thing I knew, I was looking straight up again, now shocked and in awe with what I was seeing.

Above my antenna at an unknown height, there was a hovering object! It was difficult to judge the altitude of the object. It could have been at least several hundred feet above the ground or much more, because I could see the whole object including the aura around it between the space of two of the aluminum elements which my antenna was made of, without being blocked by the antenna elements- the view of it was completely unobstructed by the antenna elements.

The object was a crisscross grid of 8 or 10 bars that were glowing an intense, extremely dark red color. I tried to look between the red bars of the grid to see more, the area looked opaque and was a less dark red. The light that emanated from this object was not blinding- I could look up and see it very clearly. Around the outside edge of the dark red grid there was a shimmering orange aura, of which I also took note. The orange aura around the grid was fairly narrow, maybe one fifth or so the size of the grid itself.

The hazy aura shimmered in waves, akin to the way you see heat waves on the highway ahead when driving on a very hot day. The waves of the aura were shimmering at a slow, uniform rate. After I looked up at this thing for about 10 seconds, I closed my eyes tightly, faced down to the ground and shook my head in disbelief. Then I opened my eyes and looked up again.

It was still there! Around this time, the thought crossed my mind- "I wonder what the expression on my face looked like to them if something up there was in fact watching, if they saw the look of dread that must have been on my face".I studied it some more, and after 15 seconds or so, it suddenly vanished. I looked all around the sky above, but it was in vain. It left no trace of what had become of it, where it had gone, that I could see.

During the time that this all happened, I detected no sounds at all.

It is my assumption that this all came about because of the fact that I was quickly cranking up my tower with antenna from the 20 foot nested level to the 50 foot fully extended level and the activity and movement called its attention to this location. However, I get the impression that it was possibly not of any consequence to it whether or not I was standing by the base of the tower to see its approach. I only happened to be standing there, still catching my breath. It seems to me that the focus of attention was most likely directed at the antenna and tower and their movement upwards.

Possibly the deep red-colored grid was the mode that they were in to take readings or observations. I had this feeling, anyway.

I was very shocked by what had happened, and most any time that I think of what I saw, chills usually come up my back.

Some months later on a visit to my parents, I told them about what had happened.

Mom asked if I had been able to look at it standing clear of the antenna.

I wish that it had been possible to do that, but there was not enough time.

I can hardly believe that it happened myself, it was so strange.

I have an added afterthought- When going back inside, I went into the radio room. I tried to operate the equipment, but I felt disoriented and stupefied. When I figured out I couldn't clearly tell what I was doing, I gave it up for the night.

Life altering UFO abduction experiences 500 Lights On Object0: Yes

I’m a 47 year old male who’s had a multitude of UFO experiences throughout many years which begins as follows: 1974, one spring morning I was a 13 year old kid living on a farm with my parents on Roblar Rd. Petaluma California. My older brother and I were headed for the school bus just up the road while on our walk we spotted two small red brightly glowing spheres around the size of small basket balls. The red balls came out of some bushes across the road then danced around each other as they hovered in front of my brother and my faces. Both of us were stunned and starred as these hovering balls of light moved around us then proceeded up the middle of the road as they sped off. When the reached the top of the hill they headed straight up then disappeared. My brother and I just looked at each other without saying a word. My brother shrugged his shoulders and shook it off as if he’d just seen something that didn’t exist. The other kids showed up at the bus stop and I asked if any of them saw the lights when one of the kids said, “They were car lights you saw you moron.” I dismissed the incident and really didn’t think any more about it till later in life.

One summer night in 1977 my older brother, two girls and myself were in the Sonoma Mountains in Sonoma County California drinking a few beers like a lot of teens did at the time when my first incident occurred. It was late night, around midnight, my brother and I were standing outside the vehicle while the two girls were inside when my brother pointed to some bushes around a football field away and said, “What the f---- is that?” I looked to where he was pointing and I saw a rather large glowing orange dome just on the other side of the trees. Not knowing what it was I replied, “I don’t know.” I became entranced with the object as it began growing in size getting bigger and bigger. My brother ordered me back in the car and said, “Let’s get out of here.” I said, “No, wait, let’s check it out.” He once again ordered, “Get the f---- in the car little brother or I’m leaving you here.” I jumped in, we took off down the mountains and nothing more was said about it until a few days later when my brother asked, “Do you know what that was we saw in the mountains?” I replied, “I don’t have a clue.” My brother continued and said, “Little brother, that was God!” Thinking he was kind of nuts for saying it I dismissed the conversation. This concluded this incident.

Later on that same year, sometime in the winter evening, I was once again parked close to the same spot in the mountains with a different friend this time. It was around 10:00 pm. And we were talking about things we wondered about. I was saying I wonder why this and this happens when my friend said, “What I wonder is what the hell is that?” He was pointing to an orange harvest moon across town just above the other mountain range. I laughed and replied, “It’s the moon you idiot.” My friend looked dead serious to me then pointed up into the sky then said, “Oh yeah, then what’s that.” He was now pointing at what appeared to be another moon. Being rather shocked I replied, “I don’t know.” We watched as another harvest moon appeared next to the first one in the mountains, soon a third one appeared. “We’ve got to check these things out,“ Said my friend as he started the car and sped across town to the other set of mountains. We weren’t sure exactly where they were so we guessed and headed out Two Rock Road in Petaluma California. When we reached the coast guard base we drove up to the guard tower and asked if they saw three glowing harvest moons in the mountains. Needless to say they treated us as if we were nuts and sent us on our way. That night we never did find the objects or see them anywhere else.

1984, Seven years later, I was around 24 years old working in Healdsburg California. I had to commute from Petaluma California to Healdsburg which was around a 45 minute drive everyday which I had to be at work by 6:00 AM. Needless to say I had to get up pretty early in the morning to make it there. I’ve always been a very anal person always making it to work at least 20 minutes early so I could have enough time to relax, drink some coffee and back in those days, smoke some cigarettes. This incident is a weird one as I didn’t remember most of what I’m writing about until much later in life. Anyway, I left to work one day at the same time that I always left then headed up Highway 101 north to Healdsburg. I remember leaving the town of Santa Rosa Heading North and driving through what used to be the usual desolate area of Windsor. As I was driving suddenly I started feeling very tired when I looked in my rear view mirror and noticed two very bright lights, speeding up on me. I thought to myself who’s this idiot going this fast? As the lights approached the rear of my vehicle my car slowed down to a stop. I remember trying to give it gas but it wouldn’t move. Suddenly the car went completely dead and all I could see were very bright lights behind me. I remember wondering what was going on. The lights moved from the rear of my vehicle rising above my car, when suddenly I hear a loud bumping noise much like a tow truck would make as it lifts up a car. I felt my car being lifted off the ground. I tried opening the doors but they were locked. I remember jumping into the back seat and trying the rear door but it was locked. I remember white light all around me and being totally petrified. The next thing I remember was sitting in the driver seat with my engine running but parked off on the side of the road. I shook my head in disbelief and wondered what happened if anything. I stepped on the gas an my car took off up highway 101 as I headed to Healdsburg. I seriously didn’t know what happened and wondered if an! ything d id happen at all. I arrived to work, went in and poured a cup of coffee like I usually did. I lit up a smoke when and noticed one of my co-workers working. I asked, “Hey D--, why are you here so early?” D-- looked at me, laughed and replied, “Why are you so late?” I asked, “Late, what do you mean? I’m not late.” He laughed again and said, “You idiot, you’re 20 minutes late.” Being a little bewildered I put out my smoke then headed to the time clock where I realized he was right, I wasn’t only 20 minutes late but, rather 40 as I usually arrived 20 minutes early every day. When I got home both my wife and I checked our clocks and none of them were off. There were 40 minutes missing from my day.

1987 Three years later I was around 27 years old living in a cottage on a hill in rural Petaluma California. It was sometime in spring around 2:00 am. I woke to the sound of a humming noise and looked at the walls above my bed noticing bright lights going around them. I tried to wake up my wife but couldn’t so I hopped out of bed. I went to my daughters room next to ours and checked in on her and she was sound asleep also. I walked in the living room which had windows overlooking the hillside. I looked out the window past the grove of trees and saw bright lights. There was nothing on the hill and the lights made no sense at all being there. The lights resembled the brightness of lights used by freeway crews while working on the roads at night. I turned and noticed the lights bouncing off the wall mirrors so wanting to get a better look a headed out the front door, closing it behind then out off the porch into the yard. In my underwear I exited the gate which opened in to the field then looked up on the hill. About 200’ in front of me was a large glowing sphere hovering a few feet off the ground. The sphere resembled a small harvest moon and I remembered wondering if I made a mistake going out to investigate. I looked back at the house and seeing the front door closed I wanted to go back in. I couldn’t move as I seemed to be paralyzed. Being very frightened I looked back at the sphere when suddenly three images appeared standing in the field. The images were men which looked just like us except very tall. They were somewhere around 8’ tall, well built and had bald heads. They were dressed in black jumpsuits and wore side arms. The next thing I remember was waking up in my bed around 8:00 am on a Saturday Morning. I remember opening my eyes wondering if I dreamed the who thing. It almost seemed like hours were missing from my night and I had a small hole or mark right in the center of my forehead which wasn’t there before.

Years later the entire incident started coming back to me and I began remembering what happened. It was around 2000 when it became very vivid. There were not only the three beings looking like us but also others resembling the typical aliens with big eyes and grey skin. The beings looking like us seemed to be in charge and the other’s worked with them. The mark in my forehead, which is still there today was made by a long needle type instrument which was inserted into my skull. This instrument was used for something I’m not sure of. They communicated with me telepathically and seemed to download and upload information into and out of me. In summary, the visit was a religious experience in which they told me God and Jesus are real and do exist. I wasn’t a religious man before these incidents but afterwards they changed my life. What we communicated about back and forth was very in-depth and there’s not enough paper or time to cove the topics but, I’ll reiterate in saying they convinced me Jesus is still alive and went on to say that they are us and we are them. We come from them as they are our past.

Objects were several thousand feet in altitude and bounced around the sky basically overhead. I was 17 years old at the time. The Petaluma Argus Courier Newspaper came out with the event the next day with my name. I was ridiculed for years. Several months later I received a call from a Control Tower Operator in Oakland who would not tell me his name but verified what I saw was viewed on RADAR at the Center.

The objects ere circular in shape and the sun reflected off the material. I and my two class mates were working in a venitian blind company just outside of town when the event occurred. We were all in our teens. Subsequently I had observed other phenomena througout the years. My girlfriend (eventually my wife) were parked on a hill overlooking the Burbank Airport one summer night in around March of 1956. A cirlular object floated over our heads and just sat there. We were sitting in a convertible and just looked up and saw a huge cirlular object with several lights underneath. It hovered there for about 20 minutes. Planes were landing overhead above the object. Eventually it sped off over the Burbank mountains. Soon after marriage driving from Burbank to our new home in Orange, California at about 2 am in the morning, we were tracked by a bright green ball type object that followed us over the organe groves until we reached out home. Then next day the papers were full of sightings over El Toro Marine base near by. Several years later while living in Villa Park, California (near Orange,CA.) I was awakened after midnight with what sounded like rocks on the roof. Then there was a brilliant white/blue light that came from our Patio and lit up our room. I ran outside to the Patio and the light was not there. I looked up and saw an object in the Western sky that appeard to retract a bright light from beneath (like airplane landing lights) and up into the object. It then sped off towards the ocean. The next night I saw a bright light streak across the sky from North to South. Subsequently I was approached by a person outside of Reno, Nevada and had several years of education regarding UFO's. I met with Linda Moulton Howe in Oceanside, California about 5 or 6 years ago. I related the story to her. We communicated for a while and then lost contact. Professor Hynek and his assistant was also in contact with me regarding this 'person'. But when I sent a tape recording to Hynek and the audio was completely erased including the emulsion, Hynek thought it best to cut off communications with me. That was the last time I heard from him. The year was about 1975 when I leved in Villa Park, CA. The original tape from the interview also dissapeared from my safe. I decided to just forget the whole thing.
