A consistently traveling fireball over Atlantic Ocean

My husband was getting something from our car around 8:30 at night and yelled “what is that?”. I was just a few steps away and turned around to see the consistent traveling light (fireball in shape with an oval tail) in the sky. It was much larger than a star or planet and was not traveling as fast as a shooting star. I haven’t seen this type of sky activity before but one rational explanation could be a plane with something on fire, but it traveled consistently and not distressed seeming. I witnessed it travel from the south/SE sky to the East/NE sky where it then dove down slightly and faded (over Nauset Beach). We called our son out to see it and he also witnessed the last 10 seconds of it. There was only 1 object. It was a white light, no other noticeable color. I would say I witnessed it for about 40 seconds. My husband caught a short video of it but it looks dimmer in the video than what you could see with your eye. We are professionals who live in the Boston area and have a second home in Orleans, Cape Cod so we are familiar with the night sky in this area.

Red glowing sphere, slowly moving West to East, stopping and starting multiple times until out of view..it did not disappear-

A clear, bright red, glowing sphere slowly traveling West to East, stopping and starting multiple times until out of my view. Each time it started to move again, it left behind a "tail" that was fog-like, not red. Each "tail" was the same size in length. It appeared to travel the same distance each time before stopping again. It did not disappear, I just lost it in the distance. It did not change in size, shape or other- the color and intensity of glow did not change. It traveled in a relatively straight line with a slight dip nearing the end of my visual ability. I watched it for a good 10 minutes- should have taken a video.

I have seen red, fire balls with tails that seemed like particulate matter. Closest to the fire ball, the tail was red, and went to red-orange, to yellow- decreasing in top to bottom height until it disappeared....This fire ball was traveling very fast....It was easy to follow.... This current sighting was not at all like that comet.

Bright white light moving slowly without sound

Leaving the house early to do some snowy owl photography, I started my car and looked up at the moon and noticed a glowing light that was moving well above the tree line towards my house. I called my girlfriend to take a look, she opened the door, confirmed what I saw and quickly closed the door. We stayed on the call and I left and it passed over the house. turning left onto the main rd it changed direction and seemed to be traveling parallel with my car. When I came to a stop sign, it also stopped. I turned right and it also turned right and continued on its original path. I checked the Flight Radar 24 app and there was no commercial/private air craft activity at that time.

When the object came towards the house it was a white light, when the object was parallel with my car it still was bright white toward the front, but had different colors on the side of it. I could not make out the shape of the craft but it made absolutely no sound and left no visible trail.

I've seen planes and satellites my whole life but this was bizarre, I told my mother what I was seeing because she directed me to go outside and watch the meteor shower . Quite a shock to say the least and then I went to bed, next morning told my son and he suggested we report it here.

Erratic Object in the Sky Cape Cod, Mass.

First of all I wasn't going to report this, but figured it may be of value if anyone else may have seen it. I was looking up at the sky around 8pm (20:00) in an open area with little light pollution. Due to this the sky was clear and the stars were very visible. I noticed the object moving across the sky from east to west at a very high speed. It was a small white bright light. I initially thought it was a shooting star until the object made a sharp 90 degree turn and began heading south. It continued on this track for a short period of time before it did a full somewhat drawn out circle and then continued off west until it disappeared/I lost sight. There was a near by plane for scale that was much larger than the object and moving at a much much slower speed. The object was smaller than the stars around it and appeared to be a little smaller then the plane in the distance, but was much higher in the sky than the plane. It was too far away to make out a shap! e, but looked like a bright glowing sphere. Once again this object was moving very fast and was very erratic. Wanted to submit this incase anyone else may have seen it. Not sure what I saw, but it was certainly a very strange/interesting experience.

Multiple crafts videoed flying over Cape Cod Bay at night.

I saw a strange plane or craft flying low over trees on the outer cape in the town of Eastham. I proceeded to Cape Cod Bay to check on the direction of craft and if it was a plane. The craft flew out of my sight but I noticed many other lights (crafts? Orbs ? ) flying over the tip on Race Point in Province Town.

This event lasted for a long while. I filmed the lights from a tripod with my DSLR for a couple minutes. Amazing light show. They dipped and flew across Cape Cod Bay at very low altitudes just skimming the water. The footage is from a distance but the crafts are clearly visible as it was a very clear night. Very Strange.

Witness had just awoke for the day, and looked out the window of his home, and he saw this orb-like object large as a silver dollar (at arm's length?). It was hovering to the South, and after observing it for a few minutes, another orb-like object size of a dime (at arm's length) shot out of the larger orb. It surprised him, but he had seen objects in the night skies before but they were pillar shaped with numerous lights, nothing like this. The smaller object that departed from the larger orb/object disappeared. The original object soon disappeared.

Very bright object from the west moving east over Orleans MA 7-31-15.

Just after 11pm, a very bright object appeared in the western sky, just above the horizon, moving to the east at just about the radial velocity of a satellite, which is what I believe this was, but it was burning with a very bright orange glow.

It continued to move east and at it did it continued to burn, but became gradually more faint after passing 90 degrees elevation. Eventually about 20 degrees above the eastern horizon it faded out.

My expectation is this was a satellite or space junk, re-entering the atmosphere, but I would think a lot of people would have seen it, and there would be some news about it online. Instead, I see nothing so I am posting this.

In the SSE sky (151 degrees) there is an intense light that appears to be a star but after looking at it it seems MUCH brighter than all the other stars. It appears as a swirling bright white light with red and blue and sometime green flashes. It also moved slightly to the left and right and in slow zig zag movements occasionally. It can not be a satellite, or a plane or a helicopter as the altitude is too high. This could be due to distance but it is a very clear night and on Cape Cod there is no light noise in that direction.

I was sitting on the porch staring up into the stars and a big flash caught my eye, i tried to follow the object but it was very faint at times. then a bigger flash and a very fast movement.

It was changing its direction almost constantly. I have seen this similar thing probably 3 or 4 times in the last few years.

Multiple wittness of multiple bright fuselage objects close and moving slow and low.

Three of us observed unusual objects in sky. All of us live in the area and have never seen objects like this. We were in a drift boat on the KLAMATH RIVER. The view of the sky was very large. Objects were moving North and South. They were white and long. They were moving low and slow. At least one disappeared behind mountains and reappeared. They seemed to return or be replaced by other objects. They were very bright white appearing to be reflecting sunlight not self luminous. There was no sound We could hear. There was background noise in the boat so there could have been noise. Four or five cycles of objects were seen. During one cycle a northbound object came close to a southbound object. The southbound object had a contrail.

No contrails were observed on the northbound objects. A vague estimate of distance would be under 12 miles. Later in the afternoon around 18:00 hours a southbound object was seen with a contrail. The contrail disappeared. A this point I was able to photograph with a digital camera with a 12 power telephoto lens. It appears like a fuselage with a possible wing near the center.

I have not blown up the photo on computer yet. Sightings of black silhouetted birds were also seen.

In My opinion these objects could have been drones in test mode. The did not execute any unusual behavior other than they were slow and low. They moved in straight lines The three observers are local and spend a lot of time outside. Two were Indians. We all agreed these were unusual objects and We have never seen anything similar.

2 orange lites slowly coming off the pacific ocean, upon reaching land, seem to vanish in a haze

Went out to close gate and took a minute to star gaze at the exceptional clear sky, looking toward the west over the pacific ocean I saw 2 orange lights close together moving off the pacific toward the east It was going very slow no sound @ approx 3000 ft. from sea level and heading toward my ranch (1500ft. above sea level)still couldn't see a craft just orange lights. I blinked my large flashlight 2 times..pause..2times again(Navy Seals communicate this way @ night)instantly it changed direction a bit SE and as it moved off the pacific over the ridge it seem to vanish in a haze and never came out of the haze heading east! I stayed looking for about 1/2hr and saw nothing. This was NOT a aircraft, small plane, drone, chopper, sat. or weather balloon. (All of which I'm very familiar with) I'm not a UFO nut or druggie just a regular guy that finds it hard to believe in all this stuff, although my mom and I saw a bright light with no tail, moving across the southern sky in the early 50's in south Miami Fl. that was never ID'd! One theory I have on this recent sighting is the craft produced some kind of Hologram in the haze that made it appear like it vanished!! (BWDIK) The stars looked like Led lights that night so the orange lights really stood out, and so did the hair on my body!! So now every night weather permitting I mill around for this to show up again with no avail so far.

4 star-like moving objects come from different directions in sky, then circle around each other before taking off in different directio

It was the evening July 25, 2008, and some friends and I were gathered together at the top of Orleans Mountain looking at the wildfires in the distance below and watching for shooting stars in the sky. It was about 10:00 p.m. and there were about a dozen of us there. I was facing northeast when I noticed what appeared to be several satellites moving through the sky from different directions. As they moved closer to each other, I became aware that there were 4 of these lights. I really did not think much of it until the lights moved even closer to each other and then began circling around each other, as if they were moving in formation. I’ve never seen satellites do this, but shrugged it off.

Then they all suddenly simultaneously streaked across the night sky at speeds I’ve never seen before, once again in totally different directions. They did not make any discernible sounds. They moved so fast they were out of sight within a second. Two of my friends and I jumped up at the s! ame time shouting “oh my god, did you see that?!” It was as if they had moved at the speed of light!

To this day, I have never heard of any known flying object that can move at such speeds.

lights seen in cali by two and in oregon by ten and by 10 year old on 5 seperate occasions all at reggae shows ecept 10 year old

My friend and I were hanging out late, I was watching the skies while he was just kinda of wondering about.

After I convienced him to lay back and relax we began to see a lot of shooting stars and in the sky.


After we were totally relaxed and feeling that the sky was putting on a "show" for us is when we both realized a small distance object deep in space. We both blurted out satalite and then plane and then Oh my god. We both knew what we were seeing wasn't either.

It started of slow like a satalite then took off like a jet through the sky, the light fading out then grew more intense, we both came together on the rocks out of fear and amazement. After traviling its straight path across the sky, faster than anything beyond our imagination, it then stopped on a dime, hovered for a breif second and then fell like a leaf or the golden mean ratio or a DNA pattern, just the most beatiful spiral you can imagine.

After witnessing this I sugessted a meditation to open ourselves up to the true possibilities. Things happened that are far behond anything of this world The sky shifted and lite up with thoughts and ideas we shared about reality, We felt like we were on the doorstep to a unkown reality to us.

Something was begain menaced us on the rocks making noise breathing heavy in the distance. we heard it urinating on the rocks we finally got the nerve to look and saw a large long armed being moving across the rocks away from us at a high pace right into the area were the eel river should be, but more or less looked like a greenish gloom entering into an unknown place. This was it for us.

There was one patch fog aproaching us from the east(the only fog we saw all weekend that started to form after the encounter) clinging to the ground looking like it was coming to envelope us at any minute.

Bright light into the bedroom window woke us up.

I woke up to a bright light that seemed to be shining into my window. I figured it was a flashlight from a neighbor and went back to sleep.

About five minutes later my husband woke up to a bright light coming through the window and when he looked out the window he saw a circular light up in the trees.

When he looked up it moved to the back of the house. When he went to the backyard the light hid behind trees as if it did not want him to notice it.

He looked at it for about two minutes and then it flew up into the sky and vanished.

Looking out my bedroom window I saw a very bright light above the tree line. It remained stationary for about 2 minutes. I got up and went outside to the backyard and saw another bright light behind the trees and moving from north to south very slowly. When it was behind a tree it seemed to have disappeared because I could no longer see it. There was no sound or aircraft in the vicinity. We live in Northern Californa in the small town of Recrest around 50 miles south of Eureka. My friend who was outside smoking a ciggarette called my husband and myself outside to take a look at something in the sky. This is what I and two wittness saw. It looked like the planet Venus except that it was many times brighter and bigger and started moving up and down and side to side and sometimes in a circular motion. It was apox. 6:50 pm.

I then told my husband to get our digital camera with tripod to try to take a picture/video but to no avail. My friend had a flash light and I ask him to flash it at the object, what he did was a series of three dots and three dashes. We all saw the object flash back. I then called my friend in southern California to ask her to go outside and see if she could see anything and thats when she told me to call you.

My friend has a compass watch and said the object/star was at a bearing 217 degrees in the sky.

When I went into the house to call Mr. Davenport I saw the object slowly move behind the redwood covered hills.

Blue orb appears out of nowhere, lights up huge area, and then sets behind my house on mountain-side.

I was standing on the front deck of my home with 2 friends. My partner and I were looking out off the deck towards the Trinity River (east).

Suddenly, a bright light illuminates the whole area around us. The blue-white light was so intense that it lite up the opposite side of the river, approx. 3/4 mile away. The light remained bright as it slowly set. I could see it's arc outline as it shadowed the trees in our front yard. It set behind our house, lower than the mountain-side that sits behind house, I could see the roof's shadow before it disappeared.

My friend (third person present) was facing the light source (west) and was really freaked out. She asked us, "What was that?" to which we replied, "Who were the one facing it?"

She went on to describe the source of light as a bluish orb that shined with a thick fluid-like coating that rippled. She said the orb just appeared out of no where, hung in the air, then went down slowly behind th! e house.

I then realized that the sounds of the night; crickets, frogs, etc. had been silent during the orbs' presence.

A car drove by on the road out front and I could barely see the headlights which now glowed orange because of the heavy fog layer that covered the river valley. My friend who had seen the orb was sure "they" were coming for her and didn't sleep that night, the guest room had a sliding glass door that exited into our backyard. We hiked up the mountain side where the orb had set the next day but found nothing.

Summary : Late in the evening, just before retiring, A luminous object was spotted just above a mountain, and in between two trees. It remained 'flickering' in a cross pattern, until I signaled with a flashlight, which caused it to abruptly change its pattern and speed; changing its location extremely quickly. and then coming back to its original spot and remain flickering once again. just above the mountain.

The object appeared to be of a spherical shape, maybe 15-20ft across, from where it was observed. The object 'flickered' rapidly and it moved in a tight, 'tic tac toe' like movement, intensifying in luminensce as it moved. After 30 min. object was 'signaled' with a small flashlight, to which the object reacted by flashing brighter and moving even more erratically; much faster and farther. After, it would come back to its original position. There were no changes in color,as far as the light is concerned. I watched for about 2 hrs until I became extremely tired, even though I was very interested, and slept. Observer is an Audio Engineer, with an extensive background in Architecture, graphic design, and Acoustics. Observer is 26 yrs of age, male. Observer has witnessed similar phenomena in the past.

Standing in front yard. 1 large triangle shaped dark black aircraft with red lights on all corners flew/floated a very low, about 200 feet over top of me. It was very quiet but there was a very slight whooshing/welling sound to it as it passed over it was very big, it blocked the stars. As it flew rewords the west, 2 other aircraft came from the west and all 3 met over top of a mountain ridge and headed north up the ridge along the River. The aircraft that flew over top of me was in the lead.

Watched them fly along the ridge until they were out of my site.

Light overe ocean traveled at low speed until directly overhead at200 to 400 ft. classic saucer with dome on top appeared cast of gold and lit from within. no lights or windows. Resolution to where a 6-inch fitting would be obvious. no sound, lit beach for a radius of 75 yards. WE panicked and ran for car a mile away. Followed us to car. Ignition functioned and I persuaded a terrified 4 people to continue to observe, After 6 minutes it rose at an incredible speed straight up , becoming a star within 6to 10 seconds. No sound, sonic boom or trail. DIAMETER; 150 feet dome to dome height perhaps 40 to 50 feet. Stress not a blurry light. This was a vehicle that saw us on the shore and came in to examine us. One anomaly. We all sensed a force intruding on our minds once we reached car.. I was a science student and amateur pilot at time, a good observer, rational as hell. This sighting remains crystal clear after some 34 years and I have zero doubt it was a craft from a distant neighborhood. That's a joke. Area is known as the lost coast of Ca. for its isolaion.
