Looked up while walking north towards Villa de la Valle saw brightest white light, thought star but way too close to be a star.

I couldn't figure out what it was while walking to car but it was absolutely stationary. After a couple minutes of walking I looked up again before crossing the street and it wasn't there anymore, like it vanished. It was directly overhead the Del Mar Fair.

Contrail then white cloud, then blue/green cloud over Del Mar, CA.






Broad point of white light with a long contrail behind it; the area immediately after the light was illuminated/glowing. There was a flashing red light a short distance behind the area that was glowing. These lights moved across the sky as a commercial airliner would. After it arced across approximately 40 degrees of sky, the light disappeared. After 5 or 10 seconds, a large white cloud appeared, initially the size of my fist (outstretched arm) and finally covering a major portion of the western sky (perhaps the size of a hulu hoop in my outstretched arm). This remained for a minute or so and eventually dissipated. When the large white cloud was gone, a smaller blue/green cloud was left. As it was dark outside, it was interesting that both the white cloud and the blue/green cloud were visible in the sky.

strange craft seen over Del Mar Fair

Me and two other witnesses were at the Del Mar Fair when I looked up at the sky and saw four lights close together in a square shape. Two lights were green and two lights were blue.

The object was hovering high in the air and there was no sound. It then started flying horizontally across the sky at a high speed then came to another stop. It hovered there for a couple seconds before flying vertically away from us.

It stopped in the distance and hovered there before flying vertically towards us again. At one point it was directly over us.

This went on for about 20 minutes. Sometimes it would fly in a straight line and other times it would be flying in a curve. When it would accelerate from a non-moving position, it would slowly start moving and quickly gain speed, as well as quickly come to a stop.

There were a lot of people at the fair but most didn't seem to notice. There were a few that did notice and some of them were taking video and pictures with their phones.

After the 1st craft disappeared, I saw three light in the sky that looked like a triangle shape flying very high up in the sky. This one only flew through once. During the time of the sighting we saw helicopters flying around the area as well as air planes. The craft we saw were non of those.

One of the people with me took some pictures as well as video tape of the first craft. The phone they were using for some reason did not manage to capture the distinctive four colored lights that we saw.

Overhead we saw V or chevron shaped with four lights on each side, huge, silent, very fast moving southward along coastline,amazing.

11/5/12: My adult daughter and I were standing at the end of 28th street in Del Mar Ca looking at the beach, it was a hot day and dry, wind from the east, so no fog or clouds or dampness this evening. It was a clear night. Next we were looking at the bright stars, and looking at the sky overhead, at approx. 9:52 pm a very fast moving group of lights passed overhead, it was completely silent if it was an object, and it moved very fast, passing overhead in a matter of seconds. It was V shaped or Chevron shaped, we both thought it was one huge flying object that was absolutely silent, it had what we perceived as four lights on each side. Of course this could have been several separate lights moving in perfect unison, or a formation, but we perceived it as being a V shaped object. The lights, four on each side of the V shape, were a soft light, she thought beige, I though beige but with an orange hue. They were moving so fast, that maybe 10 seconds of good overh! ead viewing time was all we had, maybe less, after moving from an overhead position, as it moved south, it became invisible, that is to say it disappeared very quickly from view after being almost directly overhead. I would call this a UFO, although I am skeptical and wonder if it isn’t just a military aircraft that I am not familiar with, but it would have to be completely silent, and really huge,

Large object floating in from over the Pacific Ocean in early morning daylight in southern California

My husband and I were returning from walking our dogs at 7:45 a.m. on March 26, 2010, coming down a hillside overlooking the Pacific. We saw something floating over the Pacific and moving towards the coast. It seemed to be coming from the west, heading slightly south east--perhaps toward Torrey Pines.

It did not have the symmetrical shape of a hot air balloon, nor did it seem like a parasail craft. It was about 1/4 the "size of a full moon." It looked to be dark blue, perhaps with some “cardboard brown” coloring—and no discernable markings. It had a cobbled-together appearance and if I was told it was a home-made craft, designed out of about a hundred card board boxes, and filled with helium I would think that was a viable possibility. There were no lights and no sounds.

It appeared to be moving “about as fast as a hot air balloon” and did not appear to be under power. As we finished our walk we kept an eye on it, and at one point it looked to be changing direction, heading more north-east. It seemed to be gaining altitude. Back at the house we found the binoculars but were unable to get a good focus on it. My mother who was visiting from out of state tried the binoculars, too, but with no real success--it was too far away.

Finally it changed direction again, and appeared to be heading more distinctly south east, toward the Miramar Marine Corps Air Station. Concerned that it might tangle with the flight pattern of the F-18’s that fly out of Miramar regularly, we called the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, letting them know what we saw. While I was on the phone the object moved out of our sight.

As for the background of the three witnesses—all of us are college-educated, two of us with graduate and post-graduate work as well. My mother and I both are from Air Force families, with knowledge of aviation and aircraft.

saw 8 - 3" or so gold sphere lights in 2 = staggared parralel lines of 4. Spheres then formed a < pattern and 2 more 5" gold light spheres appeared < : after 5-8 minutes of the spheres hovering over the ocean horizon all gold spheres began to disappear. Then black sky .

Five silver disks produce five different messages in the sky on a clear bright Sunday afternoon.

On Super Bowl Sunday afternoon observed 5 UFO's flying in formation on a clear, bright day above the ocean. They wrote a message in morse code, each one producing a comtrail in dots and dashes. It looked like a ribbon, and dissipated within 5 minutes. They produced 5 of these messages within the course of an hour and 1/2. The ships were clearly visible. No sound accompanied this manifestation, and they "winked" out one by one, then would appear about 15 minutes later to make another one. Three messages ran from north to south over the ocean, and two of them went from east to west right above my car. I had requested a sign from the Galactic Federation, and they gave me even more than I had anticipated!

Me and some friends were sitting on his back porch. We were younger (about 12 years ago) so we were all in the sixth and seventh grade.

We all looked out over the lagoon where the five freeway passes from del mar heights road to the del mar fairgrounds. Over the east side of the freeway between via de la valle and lomas sante fe, there were a line of orange lights. They were circular and were floating above a hill, which is where a golf course is and suburban neighborhood.

The lights were very calm. No flashing or flickering or explosions. They moved up and down. Rising and falling at a slow speed. almost hovering up and down.

Almost like a light switch one of them went off and then two and then they would just re appear in the same spot, or maybe a bit higher or lower.

Then more came. They increased and decreased until all eventually going out. They all were in some sort of line. but would vary either higher or lower.

The lights were indefinately an orange color.

I have never seen anything like this happen ever again in my life.

All of us were just normal kids having a slumber party at my friends.

Fireball streaked across the sky and fizzled out 5 miles inland

Heading southbound on 5, coming up towards the Del Mar racetrack I saw a glowing green object heading inland roughly 20,000 feet above the highway at a speed similar to that of a missle. There was a very small glowing blue flame behind the object resembling a road flare. The object didn't appear to be traveling in an arch or at a speed greater than sound. After a few seconds, the object seemed to break apart slightly finally become consumed by the bluish glow until it simply fizzled away.

This was like a green colored light, like a star. It was lower than any other aircraft would be. It was decending, in an easterly direction, then moved west. As it moved west it turned white, then it went out, disappeared. No tail or explosion.

I was traveling south on I-5, just passing the Del Mar Race Track. My friend was in the car with me. I saw a green light floating above the area where the race track is, near the coast. It moved east while decending, then it moved west. It was the green color that caught my eye, I had heard on Art Bell's show of people having sightings of green flashes. I grew up on the coast and the only green flashes I had heard of were the ones that appeared at the time of an intense sunset, but I knew that those were optical illusions. So I was interested in this ob- ject in the sky that was green. It was star like in size, but too low to be celestial. And it wasn't flashing like any aircraft would be. By the time it caught my friend's attention it had turned white. We both watched it travel west a little further then it just went out. The sky wasn't too dark that we wouldn't have seen something even with- out a light on it. So we both searched for something but were amazed that nothing was there. Shortly after that you were on the radio announcing all those calls you received. I finally found some spare time to submit my report. I didn't find any other posts of sightings at the same time or place we had seen the light, but I'm hoping this will help you in your research.

Woke up on my back paralyzed w/ my arms down at my sides. Never sleep on my back because i had nightmares as a kid if i did, and now i wonder why. I'm thinking i've injured my spine somehow sleeping.. I finally get my head up and theres this little blue character smirking at me. I'm fully panicked and struggle to get up but can't move. The sun is coming in the window and i can distinguish this from any dream state. I lay my head back down to get the umph to get myself up, and when i'm able to, he's gone. I had a vague impression sperm had been taken. The greys are dime-a-dozen and i am very interested in being contacted by people w/ experiences or information about these little blue guys. Years later i read Communion and they are mentioned there. .

Aircraft flying silently from west to east over Del Mar, CA. Stops and stays in the same place for several minutes.

One aircraft flying silently over Del Mar/ Encinitas, CA. From west to east. Suddenly stopped, continued stationary for several minutes. I noticed that there were two other similar looking aircraft with exactly the same kind of lights (two white lights close together with a red light at the tips of the "wings". Already stationary in the sky in a triangular formation fairly far apart but over the same geographic area. Heading back out soon to see if they are still there. Absolutely silent.
