My friends and I were driving home from Santa Cruz. I was in the backseat and looked west to see a very large object in the sky.

On our way home from Santa Cruz. We were driving north. I was in the backseat and looked west and began staring at what i thought was the moon at first because of its size and brightness. after about 10 seconds i began to realize the moon wouldnt be in that location at that time of night. the craft was glowing a bright yellow color. it was about 2:00am. about the time i realized what i was looking at the craft moved inside of a cloud which began to glow the same yellow color. I told my friends in the front seat to look. i became very emotional and began to cry out of amazement from what i was looking at. this object was massive unlike anything ive seen in the sky before. it was about 200 yards in length. my frienda began to freak out when they saw the glowing clouds. we were still driving north and about 20 seconds later the craft and cloud had dissappeared behind a hill. we turned around to try and find it again but it had vanished. we drove west instead of north attempting to chase it but no other lights were seen.

Loud, typical ufo sound was heard.

I heard a noice like the typical ufo sound (dwound-dwound repeating) like an orbiting/spinning sound, but it was louder than any other plane I’ve ever heard (though a helicopter is louder than what I heard). I only noticed it instantly because I wasn’t paying much attention because I was tired. I don’t know if the noice faded in or if it was instant. It was loud when I first noticed it but then it got quieter as it went farther away, then it became louder (not as loud as when I noticed it) right before getting quieter again till the noice faded away completely. I heard the noice for up to 5 minutes. I did not make an effort to look outside. I’ve heard this noice multiple times over the years but this time it was much louder than normal. The noice has potential of coming from maybe a big military shipment plane (like a bomber?) but then again, I’m throwing out random guesses.

My seven friends and I were camping and in our sleeping bags preparing to sleep. We heard a low rumbling that sounded like a truck in the sky. It also sounded like a helicopter flying very low but was deeper and slower.

We then saw a cigar shaped UFO moving over our campsite. It had flashing blue, green and red lights in the middle around it.

It continued to move past us slowly and then out of site into the distance.

Waves of what looked like constellations of stars traveling successively from one side of the sky over the horizon. Came from the west.

at 2:41am, my fiancee and I were using the google sky app to try to identify strange star formations, and the google sky app wasn't able to identify the constellations we were seeing. Then, we realized that the supposed constellations were moving from southwest, coming from the direction of the coast, and moving across the sky toward north east. We realized that the entire constellation had moved from one part of the sky, directly over us, and continued moving in formation until we could no longer see them. Waves of what looked like constellations or formations of flying stars kept coming from the southwest and crossing the entire sky, all passing over us. It took roughly five minutes for each wave of them to appear and cross over the entire skyline. However, there was one brighter "star", and once it crossed above us, it seemed to go only a few more degrees toward the northeast, until it hovered in place, then seemed to go back and forth as to stay visible to the new waves of "star" or craft formations that appeared. it would get up to 80% brighter than it's original appearance, as if it was guiding the waves of flying "star formations" that continued to appear from the southwest and travel to the northeast. We went and got our mom and her boyfriend after 2 minutes of witnessing the first wave of stars, which we thought was a constellation-but once it was over the house we realized it was moving and brought them outside. After that, we witnessed at least 6-7 formations moving across the entire sky-each had approximately 6-9 stars in formation with each wave. It looked as if Cassiopeia started to move and cross the sky, with a wave of more cassiopeia constellations successively moving across the sky. There was a lot of fog, but the moving "stars" would go behind the fog and emerge so that we could see that they had traveled and kept their momentum while continuing to fly in the! direction of the one bigger, brighter craft. They were all s! ilent.

With the exception of the bigger "star" that seemed to oscillate within a small area of the sky to stay somewhat in one place as its lights grew brighter, none of the other starlike craft grew brighter. All maintained a veritable "starlike" lighted appearance. Again, no noise heard at all, no blinking red lights, and they were all way too close together to be actual airplanes. I have never seen 40 planes so close together and all traveling the same altitude, the same direction, and without any noise or without some kind of blinking identifying light for safety, especially on a foggy night. Each time the fog and clouds had a break, you would see more and more of these moving constellations, all following the brighter craft. The brighter craft seemed to have illuminated its sides, and looked triangular. However, you could only see this feature when it increased its brightness every few minutes, as if to light the way for the next wave of craft. I tri! ed to take a video with my iPad, but it captured blackness. someone please let me know the best equipment for filming at night. Please! Thanks!

At 6 AM Sept. 12th, I walked out of my house. It was a clear morning no clouds or fog and was very dark.

I walked on my drivway to the end of the drivway, I looked up in the sky.I saw a orange round light moving from my left to my right. It was bigger then a plane and was moving at A somewhat slow speed. I looked at it for apx. 10 seconds.

While I was watching it, I pulled out my cell phone and walked another 10 feet to get out from under a street light.I started filming the orange light, I could see the orange light on my phone then after another 5 to 10 seconds there was light comming from under the orange light. These lights came in the shape of an upside down funnel. The colors of these lights were a greenish, blueish, yellowish, whiteish in color.

As I was watching the lights, the orange light just disappeared. I countinued to watch the lights and then the lights seem to dissipate, and after a few more seconds all the lights were gone.

I went back into my house and drew a sketch of what I saw.I then contacted a local T.V. station channel 5 and asked them if anyone else reported seeing what I saw.

They contacted me later by email and asked me if I would explane what I had seen,I said yes and a reporter came apx.1 hour later. Before they came I called the local police station and asked if anyone reported seeing any lights over Novato. I also sent a email to the U F O center.

the reporter came and filmed me, while I explaned what I had seen.Shortly after that I recieved a call from someone from the U.F.O.Center. I had the reporter record the phone message from my phone from the U.F.O.Center. I called back to the center and followed his instruction to file a report.

At approximately 5:40PM tonight (Friday 2-4-12) I was home with my daughter folding laundry and was about to head upstairs to put the clothes away when I was absolutely startled, because high above our pool table room windows I saw some incredible bright lights out in the sky. It was not completely dark yet, but more on the dusk side so I walked over to the door and peeked out the window to take another look as it did not appear to be an airplane. What I saw were these incredible bright, huge lights, bright and deep blue, and a bright almost pink red, the lights appeared almost bigger than the craft. The craft seemed to be very large and a disc shape. I would say it looked about half the size of the moon if I were to try and compare it to something. I think what startled me were the huge beautiful lights, then I realize no planes ever fly in this path, nor helicopters, the object also sat still without moving and then it moved to the left and back very ! quickly. I ran out the door onto our street and started to scream for my daughter to come outside (although she is young I wanted her to see this as well) as I turned the object was so bright barely moving and then it shot down toward earth, and when this thing came down it was if it were going thru a tunnel at the speed of light. I have no idea what happened but it did not look like it was in the midst of a crash, and I have no idea if it even landed, all I know is it shot down toward earth and that was the last I saw of it. It was absolutely unbelievable.

From where I was standing and where our house is located I can guess that this object was over the mountains and or close to if not over the ocean.

It was really the most unbelievable sight I have ever seen!! I am not one to go around talking about aliens or ufo’s but I can say without a shadow of a doubt that what I witnessed tonight was not a plane, not a helicopter, and not a balloon. The way this thing moved, how fast it moved, and the fact that it would move side to side and then sit still in the sky tells me it was without a doubt a ufo/unidentified flying object. Not to mention the size of this thing and the colorful huge lights that were surrounding this object.

I would love to know if anyone else out in Marin looked up in the sky tonight and witnessed something strange as I did?

Bright green ball of light falls through the clouds

As I was driving northbound on the HWY101 I entered an area between the cities of Novato CA. and Petaluma CA. This area is more open with pastures for dairy farming and there is also a garbage refuse center so there is no city or neighborhood in the area. It had just gotten dark as i was passing through the area so everyone had their headlights on, it had just rained earlier that day so the clouds in the sky were breaking up allowing for the night sky to be seen in fragments. Driving along i had a sudden urge to lean forward over the steering wheel and look up out into the sky, it was kind of one of those feelings that i just got, not to look for anything in particular but just to look at the sky. At just that moment i could see part of a cloud illuminate with a fluorescent green color and through a break in the clouds a bright ball of green light descended at quite a fast pace. It dropped maybe 500ft or so from the cloud cover which might have been a 1000ft! above. This green ball of light was traveling extremely fast toward the north and was only descending down to then sweep back up towards the clouds, before reaching the clouds it picked up speed, a lot of speed. It stayed below the clouds but began moving so fast that it disappeared before my eyes. The duration of the sighting may have only been about 30sec. but was indeed something I have never witnessed in my life. The object was a solid ball of light, its color was green and when it began picking up speed there was no trail behind it. It looked as though it had come through the clouds dipping for seconds before going so fast i could not see it anymore.

Unusual Craft on the 37

A friend and I were traveling on the 37 towards the 101 freeway in Novato. When we say a craft in a triangle shape hover over the hills for awhile. The craft had lights all on the bottom of it. It just hovered over the hills for awhile in a circular pattern. Then proceeded towards the water and disappeared past us.

UFO in Novato CA 3/20/07 9:27 pm

I was gazing out my upstairs bathroom window and noticed how bright and brilliant the stars looked. A crystal clear evening I could see the big dipper and Venus in full view. All of a sudden I saw a slow moving sphere moving in direct alignment of Venus gliding North across the sky. I thought it was a small plane because there is a small airplane strip here in Novato. This was somehow slower moving and larger than a private plane or jet. The color was different as well. At first it looked white then as it moved closer across the sky toward where I was viewing,it became reddish or like an amber color. It got bigger and brighter and just as I started to think "that's not a plane".....it started to fade and I mean fade in a hurry. IWithin 3 seconds it just faded and vanished into thin air. I started yelling at my husband that I saw something and didn't know what happened to the moving light/object. Did my eyes distort or was I imagining it? That was my skeptical self talking. I wanted to make something real out of what I just saw. No, I witnessed an unidentified flying object that glided across the sky, silently and disappeared before my eyes. I left an email with my local news station asking if anyone else had witnessed what I did. It happened so fast and it's seared in my memory. I'll never forget it.

Two glowing lights sighted from backroads in Marin.

When me and 3 other friends were out driving, we saw 2 lights coming in our direction, and we thought they were another cars headlights, but they were much too dim. They didn't really shine, they actually just kind of glowed.

By the time we got near enough, they stopped, and just flew straight up, one after the other. And then when they were just barely out of sight, they got really big and bright and flew east. And that was the last we saw of them.

Mysterious gold light in the night sky in north San Francisco Bay area

I was sitting in a chair outside the rear of our house enjoying the unseasonably warm evening weather, gazing north, looking at the stars & the occasional commercial jet on their familiar flight path coming from the Pacific Northwest heading to San Francisco airport. There was no clouds in the sky, no moon was visible (it's always in the opposite direction anyway), and no wind. It was about 85 degrees (F).

Suddenly & seemingly from out of no where, a goldish circular light appeared in the sky. It was about 1/3 the size of a full moon when it's highest in the sky. It was an intense (but easy to look at) soft gold color, that seemed to be pulsing on the outer circumfrence of the object, which had no visible defined edge. No other shape within or without the object was visible. There was total silence as is moved laterally & slowly in a westerly direction. The object appeared to above Mt. Burdell. No commercial jets or other aircraft were in the area at the time.

Totally suprised by what I was seeing I quickly thought about fireworks or flares, both ideas which I discarded quickly. I called for my son to come here as I continued to watch this amazing & mysterious celestial display. Then just as my son was about to step outside, there was a quiet, low frequency popping noise, & the object seemed to dissapear, or rather transform. In it's place was a dot of light, appearing much like a small distant star, except it was moving, still in a westerly direction. It was difficult to continue to see as it became fainter, until it was gone.

Three objects equal distance from each other following same course.

White object, side teardrop shape or something I would describe more comet-like with tail. It suddently appeared in early morning sky just as sun began to rise. Object moved verly slowly. A second object appeared in exact spot where the first had appeared and followed the same directional course as the first. I watched both with binoculars as well as spotting scope but could not determine what they were. A third object appeared in the exact initial spot as both the first and second objects at an equal distance from the second object as the second was from the first. The third object followed the exact course of direction as the first two.

we were traveling east on hwy. 37 and saw moving slowly above us from the north/west, what looked like three giant bars of light, similar to very high beam headlights shining through fog (there was no fog), at one point there was another object that looked like it was shot out of the light structure, very much like a missile, this was shot in an eastward direction. We agreed that it looked much like a shooting star.

Wednesday, September 1, 1999 at approximately 9:30 p.m., my husband and I were traveling eastbound on hwy. 37 in Marin County, Ca. The location was approximately 1.5 miles from the Black Point/Atherton exit. We saw in the sky directly above our car what looked like three long, thick, fingers of light traveling at a very slow speed, they looked very much like super high beam headlights shining through a thick fog, (there was no fog that night). We continued to watch this light show while we looked for a place to pull over on the highway. As the lights crossed directly over hwy. 37, we saw what looked like a small missile, or shooting star, shot off the side into an easternly direction. The lights looked as if they had come from a north/west direction, and they were crossing over hwy. 37 in a south/east direction. At the time of observation, my mouth filled with the taste of having bit down on aluminum foil on a tooth filling. I had the sensation of metal emitting from an upper back crown in my mouth. This taste stayed with me for approx. 10 minutes after the viewing. The next morning I woke up with the insides of my lips feeling sunburned. When we arrived home (which is 1 mile north off of hwy. 37) our 12 year old daughter told us that she had been sound asleep and was woken by the popping sounds of the vertebra in her neck, her mouth was filled with a "bad taste, like a burning taste". At this point she looked up through her bed side window and saw bars of bright light going over our house. She remembers that her bed side clock read 9:30. The three of us felt exhausted the next day. We all sensed that what we saw was some kind of pre-empt of something much larger to come. When my husband and I pulled off the freeway to view the lights more clearly, they continued to move slowly for a few seconds, and then completely disappeared, one second they were there in front of us, the next, they were gone. We sat there for several minutes in a very stunned mode. I am a 43 yr. old mother of two small daughters, aged 12 and 8. I am currently working on a project in conjunction with the Institute of Noetic Sciences, called the Future Generations Initiative. This Initiative is working toward bringing together like minded efforts that are working to raise the consciousness of our youth so that they may be more prepared to face the challenges that we leave them. I am working closely with the Institute, as well as with members of the State of the World Forum. My husband, age 46, is the co-owner of the largest privately owned home improvement corporation in the nation. Our daughter, age 12, is a student of Waldorf Education, a bright and loving girl, musically inclined.

driving (S) on hwy 101 30 miles (N) of san francisco when a greenish blue ball fell at a east to south east direction at a 45 degree angle. at a hands length it was about a size of a dime with a 5 to 6 inch greenish blue tail and a 6 to 7 inch yellow tail behind the greenish blue part of the tail.it was very beutiful and I have never seen anything like it before. there was also NO other planes in the area. it was a clear night

Heavy sound of helicopter(s) shaking house. Went out back. Could not see source of noise. Coming closer. Looked up and saw what appeared to be a gigantic V shaped object. Felt that copter(s) were escorting it. The V shaped object made no noise. Direction should take it over San Francisco. No flashing lights on craft or copter(s). All lights were very dim. V shape was difficult to make out but was very big. The last light of the evening was visible on the northwest horizon. Craft headed southeast.

My age is 53. I am sober (or thought I was after witnessing this thing). One of my enjoyments is looking up at the sky day or night and watching aircraft going over. This was NOT the usual. I am still shaken by it.

A huge round saucer silently gliding 5,000-6,000 feet above me

I was driving in my car with a friend in the middle of town. As I came to a stop light, a saucer-shaped disk came into my view overhead. It must have been on the same path as I was (a main road), and when I came to a stop, it kept going.

The saucer was (rough guess) half a football field round in diameter. Possibly more. A huge disk silently gliding through the air! Set in from the outer diameter a few yards were a ring of lights, pulsating different colors at different timing. It's been quite a few years past but I recall seeing red and green and possibly yellow lights. It was riding low in the sky, roughly 5,000-6,000 feet above me.

I continued down the road and the saucer seemed to be going at my pace, staying just over me. I turned left and the saucer was still over me. I took one last turn, which essentially meant I was facing the direction from which I had just come and the saucer is still over me. I came to a stop and it kept on going soon out of my sight, in the direction from which it came. At one point I actually thought I was going to be the next abductee!

When I was a kid in 1975, i was out in the yard after dark and i was looking for shooting stars. I saw a shooting star after a few minutes; however, this shooting star did something impossible: it stopped its direction after a second and hovered for a fraction of a second and then it shot off in a totally different direction at a 90-degree angle shot across the sky and vanished.

saw saucer in large grass field it took off straight over vehicle went into sky and dissappeared

My father and I were returning from a hunting trip in Ukiha CA. It was on a Sunday 5:30 p.m. on 101 hwy south. We saw this shiny greyish object about 30 to 40 feet in diameter next to the edge of SanFrancisco Bay. The reason why we noticed it was the field had caught a fire. Then the object took off almost in a 45 degree angle straight toward us which was west and it was moving at such a great speed that after a few moments it just got smaller and smaller until it dissapeared. The saucer was totaly quiet. It had no lights that we could see and it left the grass field totaly burning. My Father was an opperating engineer all his life. He always wanted me not to talk about it because people would think that we were crazy or something. And for myself I am 56 years old and don't care what they say. My Dad is passed away so there is no one else that could back me up except if anybody like fire departments, the farmers, or anyone else that had seen the fire, or the saucer itselt. I would like to know if there was a report around that area and time, that would make me feel a little better. I am very mechanicaly inclined and know that this was not something that the US had developed for a few years later I saw the nasa research flying saucer in the old hanger at Mofet field in Mountain View CA and it was nothing in comparison to what my father and I saw.
