It’s the third time I’ve seen it. First time, it appeared and then zoomed off in seconds. Last two times it appears and disappears.

I jog every morning between 4:45-6AM in same area and I’ve seen this object or similar objects around the same time right before dawn. They are oval shaped but shift, shades of orange, appear, disappear, and leave a streak of light behind. I’ve tried to record it the last two times.

I stopped to have a cig I noticed a bright blue light coming my way then it enlarged and changed to shimmering orange

There was a very bright blue light slowly moving towards my location then the bright blue light grew to a big shimmering orange circular object slowly moving from left to right I watched this thing for about ten minutes as it slowly moved them it just vanished, there was no sound at all.

A perfectly straight string of lights was moving fast across the sky North West Bound The lights looked just like other stars in the sky in terms of size, color and brightness.

line of about 10 stars that were moving, the front one disappears and another appears on the back, sometimes stop and go

Went outside @ 0430 and saw a line of stars which I have never seen in the north eastern sky. After a few seconds I noticed they were moving right to left. There were about 10 at a time, and as they were moving the front one would disappear and another would appear at the other end. Towards the end several would get close together and then separate. And several would stop and go. This lasted for several minutes. Then they disappeared.

Bright light in Madera

Very bright light above our home. Light then disappeared followed by a small boom sound. Object reappeared far off in the distance seconds later where it was observed with what looked like a reddish object leaving from the main object and remained stationary for sometime. I was in my backyard when I saw a line of blue and white lights in a line. They were heading from north to south. The object did not seem to make noise. The lights did not look like a plane they had a slight haziness blue color.

White light makes a turn and disappears

I live about eight miles west of the Madera Municipal Airport. I earned my private pilot's license at that airport. The approaches for the Madera airport and the Fresno Air Terminal beyond it are directly over my house for aircraft coming from the Bay Area.

In the evenings, I see aircraft with their landing lights on approaching from the northwest and heading towards the southeast. As they get closer, you can hear their engines, see the strobes, and finally see the red and green navigation lights when they are directly overhead.

Fifteen minutes ago, I was out in my yard when I saw what I thought was a light aircraft with its landing lights on approaching from the northwest. The sky was partially overcast with wispy clouds. The light seemed to be going at about the same speed as a light aircraft and was at about 8000 or 9000 feet altitude.

I watched it, waiting to see the strobe as it got closer and listening for engine sounds, but it remained silent, and there were no visible strobes or navigation lights. Then it began a slow, wide turn to the south. It's hard to describe, but it almost seemed to slide. The color of the light was almost the same color as a landing light.

After the 90 degree turn, landing lights would not have been visible on an airplane, but this light remained constant. Then it began to speed up, and it either gained altitude, or the light faded out. I don't know which, but it just disappeared.

I know some people will say it was an airplane, but it wasn't. When it was overhead, I should have seen a strobe and the red and green navigation lights, and it should not have had white lights facing backwards. Also, it's possible to hear a jet or propeller engine at that altitude, and it went from a constant brightness to a dim light to nothing in about five seconds time. It wasn't an airplane.

Pure white tube - west to east - disappeared - returned & hovered & disappeared again.

I drove North on HWY 41 and passed Valley Children's Hospital, when I noticed a pure white object which I assumed was a jet or plane. It was traveling west to east towards Millerton Lake - It was climbing & I couldn't see any wings.

I took more notice & I still couldn't see any wings, cockpit, propeller, etc. Then it shot off at a high rate of speed - disappeared. I thought it was unusual as I couldn't see any wings.

Next, I get up to Avenue 12 & I see the thing again - real close. Now its basically over me going west. I pulled over as I almost went into the opposite lane. I see this thing stop & hover over a pistachio grove. I wondered how it could just stop, but it did & then it flew off.

I don' know if it was some farming drone or what, but I estimate it was 20 to 30 feet long and about 1,000 feet off the ground.

i was outside having a smoke in my car it has a moon roof on it so i slide it open the moonroof up and i was just glancing at the sky when something caught my eye it was flying really high probably around 60,000 ft there is a comercial plane highway running on top of our small town so i seen the planes flying really high aprox: 35,000 ft this object was flying high than the plane but as the planes started passing the object oval in size was stationary and i notice the planes were aware of the object in the air pretty sure if some how you checked air traffic control for 03/01/15 over madera, ca the pilots must have notice i managed to photograph the object with my ihone and video....video quality sucked but my photo it has color filters and once you change them and look its there stationary over central california i dont think you could see stars or planets with the naked eye plus the sun was refecting off it ufo

White spherical object w/possible point at the bottom and blinking red and green lights.

At approx. 9:30 pm I was looking at the stars from my backyard with Nikon binoculars. I was observing the Plaiedes to the East when I noticed a bright white star-like object just to the left of them. When looking at the star-like object through my binoculars, I could see it blinked rapidly with red and green lights. It stayed stationary in the sky and did not appear to be coming towards me, as an aircraft would. I moved my location to the front yard and observed it from a slightly different angle. It was the same. The object was spherical, however it seemed to have a faint tail-like point at the bottom. The object was still blinking red and green, very rapidly. I called my son out into the front yard to observe it through the binoculars and asked him to describe to me what he was seeing. He described it exactly as I did - a spherical object with red and green blinking lights. I asked him if, in his opinion the object was moving and he said no, it was not.

One solid black, upside down triangle. No lights, moving very slowly over Hwy 41. Morphed.

Right before I left for school one solid black, upside down triangle was flying in the sky. There looked like there was a gap between the widest part (below the top edge), which was only visible through binoculars. It had no lights and was moving very slowly over the fields in between Madera and Highway 41 area.

It seemed to morph, or maybe it just turned to the side, but it then looked tall, and very skinny with almost a ball shape on top like a head.

Was visible for 15 minutes. Moved very slowly west (coming towards my location) then changed to north, descended much more quickly and disappeared below my visual site line.

Solid white light spotted at dusk, flying across the sky. It took 3 miraculous 90 degree turns before the light disappeared altogether

I was sitting outside at dusk, watching a couple airplanes make their way across the sky in the distance. One had the normal 2 blinking lights but the other was quite abnormal. It was one solid white light that was at least 5 times brighter than normal airplane lights. I didn't think much about it until the 'airplane' suddenly took a miraculous 90 degree turn. I thought I was seeing things until the 'airplane' did it two more times. Upon 3, 90 degree turns, the aircraft went straight for about 5 seconds before the bright light completely disappeared.

I stayed outside for at least 20 more minutes and the light never reappeared.

Ufo seen hovering over a house.

It was around midnight when I was leaving my friends house, as I was walking home I saw a weird round object from the corner of my eye. It was just hovering over a house about 7 feet over the house. I had never seen a ufo so I wanted to see exactly what it looked like up close and as I moved in, it just stood there above the house. I was able to see it clearly. It was round shaped with lights around the middle and under it was a small round bottom. It made no sound but when I started getting closer it seemed to have noticed me because it started slowly moving away. I started to speed walk to catch up to it but the ufo just kept slowly gaining speed. Eventually, I started running after the ufo but lost it over a near by park.

I ran home to tell my mother what I had seen and she laughed, but at that moment she was talking to her boyfriend over the phone who said he say it too, it had pased by the freeway that is just behind the near by park in which I lost sigh! t of it.

Two lights in the sky,one seemed to follow the other as if in formation.

I arrived at work this morning and saw two lights moving in the sky. It was still dark but the sun was starting to come up from behind the mountains to the east. The lights were in the west south west sky when I spotted them and moved to the east north east,they moved almost directly overhead.

When I saw them I told another guy who just got out of his car to look and as we were watching,two more people got there and I pointed the lights out to them also. The lights almost looked connected as the brighter one seemed to lead the dimmer one. The two moved as if in formation but not like aircraft in that the dimmer light was directly behind the other. The light was white in color and there were no blinking lights like would be on an aircraft and I know aircraft don't follow directly behind one another.

I would estimate the speed at between 200 to 400 miles per hour. I estimate the altitude at between 8,000 to 15,000 feet. It would seem that they were about 500 to 800 feet apart. There was no noise heard from the objects.

2 triangle objects side by side with bright red port and starboard lights (non-blinking) followed shortly by a third heading from Yosemite south along HWY 41 towards Fresno.Objects were incredibly huge, trailing UFO was 20" fingers spread at arms length (note: we are at the 3500 foot elevation). The 2 side by side took up our skyline (though we have many large trees around our house). They crossed our skyline in under 15 seconds with only a low rumble (no jet turbine sound).

Witness #1. 39 yo Male non drinker/drugs served in the USAF at Williams AFB. Williams served as a training base and hosted SAC TAC MAC etc. shows so I have seen all manner of airplane's (C-5 Galaxy etc.) Witness #2 39 yo Female non drinker, prescription drugs only real estate agent, currently a Vet. Tech. (because of the bad real estate market) Note: There were 30 smaller (normal craft) traversing our sky's after, which being in the mountains is odd as you see very few.

Strange orange light seen south of Madera. Went to get binoculars and a minute later the light was gone.

At 10:30 pm I had arrived at my home when I noticed a bright orange light in the eastern part of the sky. I watched it for a few seconds to see if it was stationary or was moving. It was not making any noise, but what attracted me to it was the brightness of it. When I discerned it was stationary I went back to my car (50' from where I noticed the light) to fetch my binoculars to get a better view of the light.

When I returned to where I orginally was at the time when I saw the light, it was gone. I had not notice any flash or hear any sounds that may have been of a departing craft. I did notice two seperate sets of aircraft lights that were farther in the distance, but they were flying in opposite directions and all I could see of them was a red light (but I could hear their engines). I doubt the orange light was a star or planet as it was the brighest object in the sky and was at least 75% brighter then the next brighest object (which is either Venus or Jupitor, I'm not sure, which ever is in the western part of the sky at this time).

I did go back outside about twenty minutes later to see if the light had maybe returned. At this time the moon had risen and I noticed a star or planet to the upper left of the moon. This was not the same object, but I felt I should note this.

two objects hovered above for approx 5 minutes. both had different lights that changed colors every so often. when they seperated, one went northwest and the other went southeast. the SE one stayed in sight for about 10 more minutes. the NW one went out of sight immediately. while flying apart they did flash their lights as though they were communicating with each other. when i looked thru the binoculors at the SE one, the lights looked electrifying. What were these?

A bright oval shaped light flying faster than anything I had ever seen before.

Me and my girlfriend were parked in a grape vineyard I was 16 at the time, it was 2 in the morning. We are in the back seat of the car she was sitting up and I was laying down with my head in her lap. My eyes were closed and we were just talking, I saw a bright light flash over my eyelids my eyes were closed but I could still see the light through my eyelids, I got scared because she had taken her step moms car without asking her and niether of us had a drivers license. I open my eyes immediately and say what was that is there a car coming she looks back and says no theres no car there so I sit up look out the back window and see something I will never forget, I see a bright oval shaped light flying away from us it flies about 300 yards away from us banks hard left then super hard right and flies away faster than any airplane fly, by far faster than any aircraft we have, we both saw it because I look at her and the look on her face was of astonishment and I ! said did you see that she said yes we then both began to look at our surroundings realizing we were surrounded by vineyards seeing the wind blow through the leaves we couldnt discern whether or not there was something walking around out there, I jumped in the front seat started the car and we were out of there I hit pot holes flying out of there but I didnt care if I messed up her step moms car I was ready to leave

Flashing white l:ight travels 100 degrees across the sky in under a second and then slows down to the speed of a satellite

Light with the look and brightness of a bright star and flashing about 10 times a second traveled from the southern horizon to about 80 degrees above the northern horizon in under a second, where it slowed down the the speed of a low satellite became a steady light and took another minute to reach the northern horizon. The light flashed like a stone skipping on water as it traveled quickly. It looked like a star ship "warping" into earth orbit.

Extreemly loud, like a ram-jet, very large moving slowly from NW to SE. Could not see shape because of high fog. Live in canyon and have observed every typ of craft from ultra lights to KC-130s and to compare, this was much larger. There seemed to be lights above the fog but I can't be sure.

At approximately 20:30 hours I heard a very loud noise ( actually felt the vibration before I heard it) I went out on our elevated deck that runs around the 2nd story of our house. I could not actually see the object but could tell it was very large and moving slow for an aircraft. Our house is at about 850' elevation in the low foothills of the Sierra Navada mountains and the high fog was at about 1000' feet. The object was above or in the fog layer. What is strange was the sound of the (enginges?) It was more like a vibrating pulse that vibrated everything in the house. I have observed numerous aircraft over the house, some quite close fighting fires where they were dumping water on the house and diving on fires near my fense line. Every type of craft from ultra lights to H204s and H206s, Hiller/soloys, Bell 1Bs, high flying passenger jet and low flying tankers and I have never heard anything like this. My exact position is: 37deg. 04.670min N. and 119deg. 50.241min. W. I am an amateur radio operator and did not observe any abnormal radio emmissions befor ar after the event and I also had a scanner on listening to Fresno/Yosemite international airport tower and heard no unusual traffic from the controllers. At my point of observation I was faceing SW and the object passed about 1/2 to 3/4 mile in front of me (SW) traveling from NW to SE. As I said I could not actually see it but only scence lights and tell the sound was moving and the area seemed to equal about 8-10 full moon diameters long and maybe 3 full moon diameters wide at the center. It took 2-3 min. to move through the area. I take off my watch at the end of the work day Fridays and don't put it on till Monday morning so the time I gave is only approx. After the event I stayed outside for a while walking around the hills trying to figure out what it was because, unlike low flying aircraft this thing set off every coyote for 5 miles around and they would not shut up for about 20 min. after it was gone. After i came back into the house I messed around on 2 meters for a while to see if any body else in the area heard or saw anything unusual but nobody had but then all caontacts were over 20 miles away. About 22:00 I remembered there was a web site to report UFOs so I hunted up the site and here I am. I don't know that this qualifies as a UFO but I am hoping maybe someone else saw or heard this also and can give a hint at what is was. I am also an amateur astronomer and cannot believe how disorganized I was on this observation, if you can call it that. That is about all I can say, except it shook me up quite a bit. My freind and I drove around the US. At one point I awoke at about 2 am, my freind was driving and we pulled off the hiway to get gas, use restrooms and switch shifts. At some point we noticed a crunching sound on the road and when we pulled in to the fuel station it became apparent that there was a real swarm of crickets. Regular, large, healthy black crickets-everywhere. There were so many they were in the toilets and sinks, unavoidable and hopping everywhere. Strange. We thought. That is until we got back on the hiway. I had taken over driving. It was a pitch black night, in a seemingly unpopulated area. After looking at a map I'm sure it was somewhere between Madera and Manteca. As soon as we re-entered the hiway my peripheral vision noticed movement to the left, right out over a grassy area next to the hiway. As soon as I looked over, my freind noticed as well. I beleive she said with puzzlement something to the effect of 'what the hell is that?' At first glance it appeared as though it was connected to the ground and moving slowly north-the same as us. The reason it looked that way is because I've never seen anything in the air ever move that slow, except birds, helicopters, and maybe a ferris wheel. Plus it was seemingly vertically arranged. The only thing visible was a bright whitish/yellowish light on top and bottom,and three triangularly arranged bluish,reddish, and orangish lights placed equidistant between top and bottom. We estimate the total height to be 15-30 feet, probably closer to 30. Right after we noticed it, it was going the same speed as us, then it accelerated with ease straight down along the west side of the hiway going north. At this point I said,'That is definitely not an airplane' This thing was so, so strange I felt an instant and major upwelling of fear, apprehension, curiosity. As we continued watching it almost reached a hiway overpass and smoothly, quickly and deliberately crossed the hiway and turned 90 degrees to the south.I felt like it was very aware of the fact that we were watching it. It began coming right at us. My freind began sobbing as I pulled over. She just kept saying "keep going,don't stop, don't stop!"

My wife and I were out in front of our house, lying on the grass, looking at the stars with two of our neighbors. The stars began to disappear behind some object. There was no sound. The shape, as determined by the disappearing stars, was like a triangle with two booms (like the old P-38) off the ends.

At first, we thought it was just some kind of low-flying aircraft, but, with no sound, we decided that it might be flying very high. If so, it had to be enormous.

We did not report it because we felt people would think we were nuts.

Orange/yellow sphere of light without sound and traveled at intense accelleration with intelligence

In the late 1970's, my brother and I were traveling on Route 53 after a severe thunderstorm. There were branches blown down from trees. We were traveling south from Houtzdale to Madera on Route 53. We were below a plateau where a cow farm with a silo for cows is located. We both saw an orange-yellow ball of light hovering above a silo at the cow farm. He said to me, do you see that light? What is it? I began to speed up. The sphere has stationary. As we approached the top of plateau, the light took off fast on north course toward Madera. I sped up to over 90 MPH and the light kept moving away. I began to flash my headlights and beep the horn.

The light source went to the horizon. Normally, at that speed, it should have vanished over the horizon. But the light source stayed at the horizon and seemed to have waited for us to cross the plateau and decend into the valley.

We went up on to the next hillside where we lost contact. There was an eerie glow in the area and my brother was deathy scared and did not want me to exit the car. I exited the car but did not see anything. However, I believe it was something not of the ordinary.

Half spherical object with portholes on the side. Mid 1950's in Central California. Day time.

I was a youngster across the street from my home and in the backyard. (Mid Fifties) One of the two brothers I was playing ball with called to us to look up and see this strange object. It was basically a half-sphere. Like a ball that was cut in half. Red-Brown in color. There were three specific indications on the side of the craft that best resemebled port-holes on the side for observation. I have drawn a number of sketches of the object over the years. I glided across the sky but it seemed fairly close to our neighborhood coming from the north and moving south toward the direction of the City of Fresno. There was no noise or exhaust. The sky was clear and with brillant sunlight. It was summer time. I will never forget it. One of my friends ran inside his house to get a small telescope he had. We watched it moving and then ran out in the front yard until it went out of site. I do not know if any of the two brothers are still living. I have not ! seen them for many years. We talked about it several in the past as we grew up.
