Three orbs were lined diagonally a line descending from left to right. These orbs were not on flight radar

We had just dropped off one of my friends and were going back to drop my other friend off when while we were doing a U turn I noticed three diagonals dots in the sky that appeared to be stationary. My friend and my mom assumed they were helicopters and so he checked FlightRadar24 but there was only one plane NE of us (the direction of the dots) which we could make out moving in the sky near the dots. We then went up to my friends house near St. Paul’s Church on foster road and still saw the lights. I captured 3 images, one near the U-turn and two near my friends house, and the objects appear to have a green aura around them in the last 2 images, and in the first image the bottom object has a red glow. The last image 2 of the objects appear to have an oval shaped object around them.

Hovering, spinning, shiny object in the sky.

Looking out my office window, at approximately 10:13am (Pacific), I noticed something curious in the sky. At first it seemed as if it was blinking or flashing. After watching it for a minute or two, and as I began filming it with my phone, it looked more like a metallic object catching sunlight. Also, as I zoomed in with my camera, there was a distinct appearance that the object was spinning. The object looked to be very high up – at, or most likely much higher than the commercial planes we often see. A few minutes after I stopped recording, the object seemed to elevate quickly upwards, then hover in place for a bit, then lowered again, and at one point seemed to move north/away from us. Eventually, after around 10-12 minutes, it seemed to move in a westerly direction, disappearing from site and into the clouds.

Fireball descends and flickers away into night sky

I left my house to enter the garage and noticed what seemed like a very visible and enlarged Mars. I went inside to call my sister out of her room and went back outside to observe some more. It clearly lowered what seemed to be inches from my point of view, but could've possibly been hundreds of feet (depending on its distance.) I yelled out for my sister to "Hurry and get out here." Before she could come out and witness the anomaly, the red "fireball" flickered away into the night sky, just as a dying flame would. What bothers me most is that I had every opportunity to capture it on my phone, but as soon as I realized it wasn't Mars, it all just happened so fast, my phone wouldn't have made it in time. I'm glad I was at least able to capture a visual memory. As of a week later, I've seen no reports or videos on what I saw on that date, however, there are videos of fireballs doing exactly what I witnessed.

Bright orb dropping smaller orbs.

At about 1am (PST), I saw a slow moving orb moving over Orange County, California. I thought it was strange how slow and high it was.

I went to get my camera, and saw two big bright white lights drop from the sky. I took pictures of it, and saw it drop 2 more "red orbs" 1 orb then the 2nd orb, in formation.

It flew a little further and dropped 2 more orbs in formation flew a little more and dropped two more. I got a video of it but my hands were shaking and you can't just see the big orb flying I tried to zoom in when it dropped two more. After that it just kind of turned off and disappeared. There was no noise and it was flying towards LAX from Orange County, CA.

Fireball coming from Fullerton area then over La Mirada and then blinking out over La Habra, California

I was visiting family in La Mirada, California. I was about 2 blocks south of the La Mirada Regional Park. I had just finished talking on the cell phone and looked up in the sky. It was 8:38 pm on Father's Day. There were several planes in line to the north and northeast of me heading towards the Los Angeles airport. And they was a police helicopter west of me; but what I saw south of me was not a plane nor helicopter.

It was not a Chinese lantern. It was low, about the height of a police helicopter and was silent as far as I could tell. It was traveling about the speed of a helicopter, but no noice coming from it. For the first 10 seconds I could hear the police helicopter west of me and further away, but when the police helicopter flew further away, I could not hear it and could tell the object I was seeing was silent. The object was closer than the police helicopter had ever been.

What I saw was first heading about north, towards me. It was a very odd color. No one looking at it could confuse it for the landing lights of a plane. It wasn't solid yellow nor was it solid orange; but almost seemed light swirling parts of yellow and orange; mostly orange. For just a few seconds, I thought a plane was on fire. It then was moving eastward towards La Habra. I am not sure if it turned, or if it was always moving in an arc. Anyway, now that it was not heading directly at me, I could see a small reddish light near what looked like the top of the swirling yellow/orange light. The red light was not directly on top, but near the top. It was not blinking, but a solid light. The red light was much smaller compared to the yellow/orange light.

The last 10 seconds of the sighting, as it was heading about east, I could see a very black tube-like craft. This blackness, at least from my angle, did not reflect the city lights. In this part of Los Angeles county, the sky is not pitch black due to so many city lights. So the craft was darker than the sky. I could not make out a shape for the black craft. But I could tell that the craft was about twice the size of the yellow/orange light parallel to the ground and about the width of the light.

And then then it just turned off. First I thought, maybe it disappeared behind some haze, but no, I could see a few stars where it disappeared.

I saw a glowing Red and Yellow Sphere at the inner sections of La Mirada Blvd and Rosecrans, La Mirada CA. on 4th of July 2014

On 4th of July, 2014, we were driving through La Mirada, CA, between 10:30 & 11:00 PM and on the enter section of La Mirada Blvd and Rosecrans I notice a Police officer pointing his exterior spot light directly up into the sky as we drove closer to the enter section I looked up and there it was red and yellow glowing Sphere above us I'm guessing around a 1000 ft above us,

my wife was driving and our niece was in the back seat I told her to look up and she also saw the Sphere, my wife couldn't see it cause she was driving but noticed the officer shinning his light upward. I only looked up because of the expression of the officer's face in disbelief as too what he was seeing.

That's what caught my attention. we did not pull over but I stuck my head out the window and saw that the Sphere began to go straight up and disappeared

Police helicopter and a low flying, very brightly lite object, flying close together on 22 June over La Mirada, California.

I was visiting La Mirada, California. I saw a bright light traveling north to south and it also traveled directly above me. This sighting was for 4 minutes from 9:03-907 pm Sunday night on 22 June 2014. I first noticed the bright light in the northern sky over La Mirada Regional Park. It was bright and low. It flew directly overhead and continued towards Fullerton. The light did not change in intensity as it was coming towards me or when it traveled away from me. There were no flashing collision lights. I was standing about one block south of the park. I am guessing that around the border of La Mirada and Fullerton, less than a mile south of me, the brightly lite object slowly faded out. For a few seconds, I could see the city lights reflect off the very dark, black object. Just for a second I looked at the helicopter and when I tried to relocate the unlike black object, I could not find it. This sighting was unusual in that there was a police helicopter! traveling with the UFO and at about the same speed. The helicopter and the brightly lite object were only a few hundred feet apart. The helicopter was not directly under it, but was slightly west of it. After both objects passed me and were almost in Fullerton, the helicopter made a 90 degree turn to the east passing under the glowing object. About 10 seconds later, the glowing object slowly faded out over a 4 or 5 second period of time. That is when I could see the city lights reflect off the dark or black object.

The object looked to be about the same size as the helicopter, even though it was a little higher than the helicopter. Of course I can't say whether the officer in the helicopter saw the glowing object, but it sure looked like the helicopter was following it. I can't imagine that the officer did not see it, in fact, I had the impression he was following it.

Multiple orange lights seen by couple in Los Angeles' skies

6:55 pm to 7:02 pm Driving west from our home, I noticed some very bright, round or spherical, orange lights in the sky to the north. As we turned south I watched them and more appeared in the night sky, in a line; some 2 or 3 across in a formation of sorts – keeping their equal distance from the center light. They seemed to be moving closer very slowly and climbing higher. (like the video I found on your site – a line up in the sky) We turned west again and parked to watch them between two houses. I initially counted 9 or 10. Then it seemed a few of them disappeared, or the lights went out, so I started counting again. Then the ones that went out came back on in their original formation, still in line with the other lights. Then more started appearing at the horizon…..until we counted 25. I tried to photograph them with my cell phone camera, but was unsuccessful at capturing them clearly. (7:01 pm) My husband noted a jet with its red flashing light far below these orange lights. (We live where we can see the East to West flight path of jets at night, approaching LAX) These orange lights were very gradually moving south. The jet was moving along its normal path from East to West.

We needed to move our illegally parked car and get going to our destination, so we were unable to study them more.

They appeared to be floating in the sky, gradually moving up and toward us (N to S). Their size was bigger near us, than the size of the lights on the horizon but the color was consistent for all of them. They maintained a bright orange color…no fluctuations. There was a single light at the front/top of the column of lights. Their formation and slow movement in a column, made me think of invading aircraft from the old war movies and I actually said,” Are we being invaded?” as more and more of them appeared.

There was no sound – too far away. We considered helicopters, but we have seen plenty of military and police aircraft, having livied here for 30+ years, and have never seen anything like this or anything with this color of light.

Solid white light turned simi-transparent red and then faded-out.

About 5 hours ago I was in La Mirada, California. I saw a solid white light traveling west to east; south of La Mirada. I saw this light between 8:05 and 8:07pm on Easter Sunday, 8 April 2012.

This light was not directly overhead; but if directly overhead is 180 degrees and the horizon is 90 degrees, then this light was traveling at about 150 degrees; again, west to east. The light was about the same size as a normal jet or plane white light at a low altitude. By the way, this area in the sky has frequent planes and jets and the vast majority of them are flying low, just like the light I saw. It is very easy to see the flashing red and green lights on EVERY jet and plane flying by La Mirada; but this light that I saw tonight, did not have any flashing red or green wing lights and it was low enough so I should have seen at least one of the flashing lights if it had any. (I was looking south, the heavily flown flight pattern to Los Angeles airport is in the north skies from La Mirada----and at any one moment, you can see 3 to 6 jets lined-up heading towards the Los Angeles airport.) I watched this light travel for at least 1 minute. I first saw it first in the southwest night sky and then it disappeared as I was looking it in the southeastern sky. It was still close when it disappeared, and it did not disappear because it was too far away for me to see it. The white light just faded off. Again, never did I see a single flashing red or green wing light like every other jet or plane that close in the night sky. This light seemed very unusual whole time I watched it; but if that is all I saw, I would not have filled out this form.

During the last 3 or 4 seconds the white light turned red. The size of the light did not change. The size was still the same size the white light had been; but now it was red. And it was not a solid red. It was like 50 percent transparent and not uniformly red. Then, after the 3 or 4 seconds of being red; it completely disappeared or faded-out. (I am sure I was not seeing a plane turning off the white light and now I was seeing the red wing light.) The red light looked like the same size as the solid white light I had seen; but now it had turned a 50 percent transparent red light and then just faded-out.

After it faded out, I could see other planes and jets way past this light in the distance. I could see their white light and their flashing red and green lights. Again, I do not think the light went out because it was too far away to see. The light just turned red, a 50 percent transparent red, and then just faded out.

I watched for 15 minutes to see if the light re-appeared or anything else, but I did not see it re-appear. I consciously watched and all the planes and jets north of south of me during that 15 minutes. They all had flashing red and green wing lights along with their large white light.

I do not think the light I saw tonight was a plane or jet.

An extremly bright, sporadically moving object seen flying then slowly fading into nothing before our eyes.

On Monday night June 8 at about 22:43hrs, There was a super bright light roughly as high as a cruising jetliner (30,000 ft or so). It caught my attention because one...it was BRIGHT! It was brighter than any light on a plane that I have ever seen. Two, the entire object looked spherical and unlike a plane or helicopter of any kind. Lastly, the way and direction it was traveling was odd. It was moving fairly slow, but somewhat sporadically. It also changed direction rather quickly with no wide turns like a plane or anything like that.

Another thing that caught my attention was the direction of travel. I live somewhat close to LAX Airport and often watch the planes lined up for miles on their decent. Rarely do I see aircraft headed at a 90 degree angle towards the line of planes. It was a good deal higher than the planes on their way in for a landing and was of no threat to them. But again, I do not see aircraft flying in that direction.

After watching the craft for roughly a minute or two it seemed to start moving higher up and away from us. The once extremely bright sphere began to slowly fade away right before our eyes until it was completely gone! There were no clouds in the sky at the time and no obstruction of our view. It simply vanished into nothing.

star in the sky during the day?

I was at my in-laws for mothers day , it was fairly clear out, there were a few high cirrus clouds.

I noticed a white spot of light up high in the sky at first I thought it might be a balloon, but it never changed shape at least to the naked eye, and it stayed fairly stationary in the sky.

Also, for reference a balloon actually did float by it and it was not even close in distance to it, this was much higher up in the sky. It looked like a star but during the day, which I thought was strange.

I was able to point it out to a couple of my relatives and they were also able to see it, though I was the one tracking it for about an hour and took pictures of it.

It slowly moved toward the sun from southeast to northwest.

I went online to see if there were to be any astronomical occurances that day. The only thing that could be a match was Mercury was to be in that exact portion of the sky. But reading more into it, it seemed it would be to dim to see during the day.

The pictures I took, do seem to be of a crescent planet. That would shift back and forth most likely due to atmospheric distortion.

I am really curious to as if this was a UFO or a planet.

Single orange glow, very bright orange light traveling across the sky

Location: La Mirada, Orange County California Date: 10/23/04 Time: 11:15pm Witness: 6 people Full moon around 11:15 pm (PST) saw a single orange light, very bright and glowing. Close to the moon as it traveled across the sky. We were watching it for 3 minutes. Then the orange glowing light stopped and it was just stationary for about 30 seconds. Then, suddenly I saw a plane coming. Looks like a military jet but no sound. It has 3 dim white lights. One on the right wing the other on the left wing. The 3rd light was on the nose of the jet plane. As this jet plane (I'm sure it was a military jet but it didn't make any sound?! And my view was as if i was looking at the bottom of the plane so kinda look like triangle becaue of the 3 dim white lights.)It was moving very fast and as soon as it passed the orange glowing light, (the Orange light was higher than the jet) the orange glowing light started to get smaller and smaller. It was so tiny but i could still see this orange bright light until it disappeared. There were 6 of us who saw this. Me my wife, my two daughters (ages 8 and 6) and my wife's step mom (who saw it first). Amazing! I couldn't sleep. I called 4 city's police dept. to find out if other people reported it, but nothing. I logged in the internet and type in search UFO Reporting and that's how i saw your site. I called your hotline (202) and a recording lead me to this form report. I also went online-chat to talk about it. I have to let somebody know. It was an amazing, unbelievable experience.

Red bright flashing light that hovered moving slowly east and west a couple of times throughout its 20 minute showing.

At approximately 11:30pm on 3-2-04 I was called out by a neighbor to see a bright red flashing light that moved slowly east and west. The flashing was not consistant and did not have any pattern. There were a total of 3 neighbors and myself who seen the object. After approximately 20 minutes the object moved slowly west and faded out. The total movement back and forth within the sky was approximately 20 degrees arc.

Bright, orange, planet sized object first observed near Jupiter, then moved slowly due north for ten minutes then vanished

As the New Year wrang in, I was outside in my front yard (facing north)watching the neighborhood fireworks. I glanced into the night sky and noticed an orange object near the Planet Jupiter. It appeared to be the same size as the planet Mars except the orange color was very sharp. At first I thought it was Mars, but quickly realized it was much to far East. As I watched the object, it began moving slowly north. I asked my wife for our binoculars (7x35). When she returned, I steadied myself on our van to get as good a look as possible. Through the binoculars the object still seemed planet (Mars) sized and a very bright orange. The brightness faded once or twice for just a brief moment. The speed varied, sometimes stopping. It travelled due north and faded from view at the night sky's zenith. My observation lasted about ten minutes (0:10 to 0:20).

Everyone in my family remembers the nightly sightings of 5 orange cigar shaped objects that appeared in the sky over several days in the summer? 0f 1960-63? The entire neighborhood stood at the end of their driveways and stared at the sky for hours.We seem to remember it was on the front page,then later explained as "temperature inversion"? Something about smog and the airport lights?
