Neon green, cone – shaped object high in the sky above multiple drones

At 10:18PM last night, October 20, 2024, I took my dog out for a walk. As soon as I was outside, I noticed multiple drones above me that caught my attention. I began to use my phone camera to see better. As I was looking, I suddenly noticed a neon green, cone-shaped object darting through the sky, higher than the drones and at about at the height an airplane would be flying.The green object was further away from earth, above the drones and moving much faster than the drones, it seemed to zoom by.

Orange lights seen ascending up from great height

At approximately 8:40pm I saw an orange light at approx 20 degrees elevation at heading due west at 270 degrees. This orange light was as bright as the star Sirius in magnitude. Beneath this orange light another orange light moved from 5 degrees from the left to 5 degrees to the right of the stationary orange light. This orange light was about 5 degrees below this stationary light. Time taken for this light to travel was about 10 seconds and then it faded out. A few seconds later the stationary orange light faded out. Between three and five minutes later I saw another orange light ten degrees off of the horizon rise in a curve to the left approx ten degrees above the horizon and fade out. 90 seconds later starting in the same location another orange light rises again in a concordal curve and fade in the same place as the first. This happened four times total every 90 seconds. From my location at night I can see planes leaving from Omaha and Kansas City. Omaha is north northwest of this location 90 miles away and Kansas City is south east from this location 100 miles away. The only commercial airport in the direction of sighting is Denver but at 600 miles the distance to horizon is too far to see air trafic from there. Weather was clear and 54 degrees.

In the early evening I saw a cigar-shaped object.It had many blinking white lights, with some stationary. It moved slowly.

It wasn't a clear nite. There were a few clouds in the nite sky. In the western sky,I noticed a low flying object. Long and flying slowly from North to south-south-east.

It seemed quite large. Hard to gauge, but perhaps 1/2 mile to a mile long. While the shape appeared to have a cylinder /cigar shape, the outline and object seemed amorphous. The white lights on the edges of the craft were asymmetrical as the blinking lights created a flowing pattern that made the object seem alive. There were no sounds. About 10-15 minutes after the sighting I heard jets flying over the same path, but much higher in the sky.

Object initially appeared dark and spherical, but quickly turned, revealing that it was dull gray and cigar-like

I was walking my dog and the encounter happened too quickly, so I was unfortunately unable to film this brief encounter.

I heard a few airplanes in the sky. I love to watch them fly, so I took a look and saw 2 airplanes SE and SW of my position. Between them, nearly dead-on South, I saw a dark, almost black orb hanging suspended in the sky, quite high up. It didn't even take a second before the object turned (I assume that is what happened), revealing that the object was in fact a dull gray color and shaped like a fat cigar. After turning, the object headed quickly in a SE direction and disappeared from sight due to a combination of trees and buildings. The entire encounter couldn't have lasted more than 4 seconds, if even that long.

The skies were almost perfectly clear, with most clouds being light, fluffy, and to the East and North. The object was between 40-50 degrees above the horizon.

A consciousness event? Two cylindrical shaped objects appear a day after I wished for proof of UFOs.

It's important that this report begin on the day before my sighting took place. A few weeks before my 75th birthday, I was walking my dog at about an hour after sunset and was contemplating the reality of UFOs. Although I had been a longtime believer in UFOs, I had never seen anything in the sky that I couldn't explain. The reality of me getting old was sinking in, and I started thinking that I would give anything to witness a UFO. I then looked up at the dark sky and beamed a sincere thought, something like: "If there are intelligent beings responsible for UFOs, please let me see one before I die." I then returned home and went to bed a few hours later.

The very next night, I'm out walking the dog again at around the same time as the night before. On the way home, when I was about one house away from my own, I looked up at the sky to the east-southeast. At about 70 degrees above the horizon, I saw two white, cylindrical objects with rounded ends, in close proximity to each other. The object on the left suddenly changed to an orangish color and blinked out of sight. A second later, the other object did the exact same thing; changed color and blinked out of sight. The entire sighting lasted no more than 10 seconds, so unless someone else was looking up at that same spot in the sky at the exact same moment, it's likely that I was the only witness. I guess it's possible that the objects flew out of sight so rapidly that it just seemed like they had blinked out, but I didn't see a blurry streak like one would expect to see of very fast-moving objects.

To me, it was no coincidence that after I had wished for a UFO sighting, the very next night at around the same time, I witnessed two UFOs - as if my wish had been granted.

On Sunday January 26, 2020, approximately 4:30 PST at 25 Park Road, Fairfax, California we (2 of us ) were facing SE and looking upwards when we saw an unidentified object move swiftly across the sky at a low angle (about 45 degrees above horizon) toward the N/NE.

It looked large and close. .The width appeared to be about 4-5 X the size of the moon. It had a SUPER WHITE brightly-lit rounded front (head) that had shining pink and blues within it. The tail was wide and long, and was just as bright as the head.

We saw it for about a two and a half second duration and lost sight of it as it moved behind a low cloud.

A few moments later we heard a loud boom coming from the direction of the object’s trajectory.

Thwomping/humming reverberations as well as dark shroud

I had been sitting by my firepit since 9pm, feeding the fire and thinking about life. I live near a hospital and not too far from the airports and constantly hear/see conventional aircraft of all sorts. At about 12:40 a.m., this overwhelming energy and humming/thwomping reverberation lowered over my house as well as a dark shroud/cloud. I had never felt anything like it. The interaction lasted maybe 3 minutes and then I felt and saw the energy dissipate. Didn't feel scared or threatened, if anything I felt connection and understanding. After the event I heard the most bizarre owl call that was unexplainable, like nothing I've heard before.

From about 23:00 to 00:30 I saw two triangle shaped figures in the sky. The appearance of the UFOs were that they had three white lights and an occasional flash of red light. One was about 1,700 feet in the air and moved quite a bit. The other was about 2,200 feet away and didn't move around at first or hardly at all. I observed beams of light coming from the closer UFO. The UFO at about 1,700 feet would pickup speed, slow down, hover around the area and zig-zag in very unusual patterns and at time rotate in very weird angles that aren't possible by a traditional aircraft. At some points, I could hear the UFO and what sounded like a traditional aircraft.

I took a few pictures with my cellphone camera, none which came out clearly. It was if the closer UFO was able to see the flash of light from my camera and started flying in even more unusual patterns for a few seconds.

This is my 2nd UFO appearance in a week.

Triangle craft spotted hovering over neighborhood house

We were getting in our car after a school event. My husband and I both saw a large craft that was just hovering over the rooftop of a house that was down the hill of a slightly winding street. the craft was at a slight angle and you could see one red light in the center and 3 white or amber lights on the corners. We stared at it for enough time to have a conversation about how it was so still and right over the roof and that you could clearly see the black body against the background. Then the craft rotated enough that you see more of the shape and disappeared instantly behind the trees. We could not see how fast it went because the trees blocked everything, just that it suddenly was off.

My husband, who is far more skeptical than I could not find any rational explanation for what we witnessed.

Almost every other night, there will be 1-3 ufo's spotted from my balcony. I have videos and pictures. At first it will appear like a bright star and will twinkle. As the night progresses it will then get larger and will become more round and will have flashing red and blue lights around the circumference.

The object at times will move very subtle but most of the time will show up in the same place each time.

Brilliant flash of light illuminating my entire line of sight for 2 seconds approximately.

Was looking out open window and a white light lit up the entire area for a second or two. Not a sound, the moon is full and bright. Felt pressure in my ears and it was gone.

I looked up in the sky and saw nothing, I was looking to the back yard not up, when it happened.

Very curious as to what this was.

Cameras active in the area have got to have picked it up. Please do a search of local cams around 22032 in heart of Fairfax City, Virginia. between 3:57 and 4:00, as that's the estimated time of the event as I got to my phone a minute later. To be more accurate, it was probably at 3:58/3:59, duration 2 seconds.

Probable Weather Balloon in Busy Greater DC Airspace

On 7 May, 2015, at about 8 p.m. EDT, while sitting on my patio, I noticed what appeared to be a particularly bright star practically at zenith. At first I suspected it was Venus, but the object didn't act like a star.

I had my wife keep eyes on the object while I retrieved two sets of binoculars, and we both observed the object. The object appeared to resolve as a tiny disk vice a point, so I had my wife continue to observe it while I retrieved my camera. When I returned, she reported that a tiny object appeared to swiftly go by the larger object, while the larger object appeared to remain stationary. I photographed it through a 250mm lens, and the image showed a round bright white object connected to a tiny object by a thin line.

Next, I retrieved my 750mm telescope. My wife reported the object slowly creeping east southeast. Its speed made it difficult to keep up with on the telescope's equatorial mount, and its speed seemed to increase toward the ESE. When I finally got it in view, I observed it through a 7.5mm eyepiece, and it resolved into what appeared to be a white sphere connected to a small object via a dangling cable. The sphere was about 2 times the size of Jupiter through the same eyepiece. The slow speed of the oscillation (>1 second) of the dangling object implied a relatively long line, and the oscillation would occasionally tip the sphere and expose an orange object at the interface between the line and the sphere. My wife, eldest son and I observed for a few minutes.

At this point, I recalled the successful bombing of the mainland U.S. by the Japanese in World War II via hydrogen balloons, so I looked online for where to report this ostensible balloon. I quickly came across the National UFO Reporting Center, so I called them at 8:17 p.m. It was about when I called when the object faded out of view. The center operator requested I write this report, and suggested I call local law enforcement if I was truly concerned. I contacted Fairfax County Police, and they said they couldn't take action if the object were as high as it appeared (whereas they could respond for an aerial object threatening people on the ground, e.g., a rogue quad-copter).

As I was compiling my data for the report, my wife came across a local news channel interview online with the National Weather Service about their radiosonde balloons. The balloons in the video looked much like the object we observed, so I called the UFO reporting center back.

The operator suggested I do a winds aloft check to verify the direction of the object. The local airport at Dulles didn't have an available report online, but the Richmond, VA, and Westminister, MD, airports did. The winds aloft report from Westminister indicated that the balloon probably originated there: for the object to be stationary and then drift east meant that it passed between 18000 and 30000 feet. Moreover, the winds from the surface to 18000 feet would have taken the balloon south and then west, which is where it was relative to Westminister.

Hello Peter.

First, let me tell you that I am a big fan of yours and have been following your reports on Coast to Coast for the last several years. I have always considered you to be an authentic, credible UFO investigator. In addition to the cases presented in your reports, I have studied several hundred similar cases and I am, therefore, more than a little familiar with the UFO phenomenon. However, only beginning this week can I say that I know with 100% certainty that highly advanced beings, piloting incredible and terrifying UFOs, are conducting some kind of research in Vermont. Based on everything I have learned from you, I am also convinced that these beings number in the thousands or tens of thousands globally and that their research is being conducted all over the world on a massive scale.

Now about myself. I am in my mid-thirties and live with my wife in Franklin County, Vermont, on a hill overlooking a small valley of trees and cow pastures, which rests between the towns of Milton, Saint Albans, and Cambridge. I am a well educated, rational ((deleted--scientific)) laboratory technician. My mother, who lives in a neighboring county, is a PhD research scientist, whom I would consider to be extremely rational and never prone to hysteria or exaggeration. My wife is also well educated, and very practical - even stubbornly skeptical - about strange phenomenon and other events which have no bearing on her life.

Two years ago, my mother was walking with a friend, who is a radar operator for the Air National Guard. The path they were walking is very near the downtown area in our largest city, about 25 miles south from my house. She tells me the sky that evening was dark, except for the many stars which were at that moment unobscured by clouds. She felt something odd and was compelled to look directly overhead. She and her friend then saw a very large, black, triangular craft with faint orangish lights, one at each corner of the craft. She said that the craft was so dark and so quiet as to seem as if it was absorbing light and sound. They watched as the craft moved slowly from north to south and finally disappeared from view after a few minutes. Apparently, my mother's friend was at least somewhat familiar with similar objects, but provided no information. My mother told me about this experience immediately after it happened because our close relationship and mutual respect permit this.

This week, I had my own amazing experience, and my wife shared it with me. On the evening December 4th, 2014, at approximately 9 p.m., I was exercising in our basement and noticed a very bright light which I could see through our basement window. I ran up our first flight of stairs, opened the front door and stood on the porch. Before noticing any detail I felt an intense sense of dread. I looked up toward the sky at a 45 degree angle, directly away from our house, toward Vermont's highest mountain peak. In the near distance, perhaps a half mile from where I was standing, I saw an extremely bright object, pulsating red and blue lights, bouncing around slightly. I stood for perhaps 30 seconds or a minute watching this object, feeling transfixed but also very fearful. I recalled in that moment some of the stories of abductees who were paralyzed prior to their close encounters, and screamed at myself mentally to turn around and go back inside. I walked quickly inside, locked the door, and ran up the next flight of stairs to our living room, where my wife was sitting and watching television. I turned off all the lights and then the TV and told her, "you need to see this." I brought her to our picture window, oriented precisely eastward in the direction of the object, and asked, "WHAT IS THAT?" She leaned toward the window, squinted her eyes and her mouth dropped open. At the same moment I noticed another similar bright object to the north, but this object became a secondary consideration to us because it was partially obscured by tree branches near our window and appeared to be farther away and at a higher altitude. I asked her to stand there and continue to watch the object for unusual flight patterns if it began to change position. As she did this, I ran to my office to retrieve my Celestron Model #21035 travel telescope.

When I returned, I noticed a light on the ground directly below the UFO, in a location that I know to be a patch of cow pasture void of any structures. I quickly found the UFO in my telescope lens. What I saw shocked me down to my core. The object was disc-shaped, bright, colorful, pulsating and bouncing. The pulsating red and blue lights appeared to come from within the craft, passing out through its walls. I then found the light on the ground below the craft and saw that it was cylindrical, orangish-yellow and was illuminating a white angular object which sat closer to my house on the grass. After two or three minutes, I decided that I would not see enough detail in the light and turned the telescope back toward the UFO.

When my wife again examined the craft, she asked, "What is that other thing...in the air, closer to us, in the bottom right corner of the view?" I looked and saw the corner of another, mostly black and camouflaged object, perhaps two or three hundred yards closer to us. I watched this object for ten minutes or longer and noticed that it was slowly rocking around and up and down. On several occasions, I could clearly see that the bright, pulsating disc was casting enough light on the angular craft to illuminate two corners of what appeared to be a triangular black craft.

My wife paced around the house, communicating irritation with me for looking at these objects with such interest at first, but eventually, after at least a full hour, parked herself on a chair near me saying, "I feel weird...I'm scared...I don't like this." At some point, I noticed that the light on the ground had vanished. Then, I noticed that the pulsating disc was calmer - more stationary and less bright. The red light, especially, was mostly or entirely gone and the craft appeared to settle into a lower-energy state. The triangular craft remained in the same position for another thirty minutes. Immediately prior to going to bed, I saw that the disc and triangle had both changed positions. The disc was now higher, perhaps directly above the triangle, which was now oriented with a single corner pointing downward. Suddenly, I saw the full form of the triangle, which was hovering with its underside pointing directly at my window. I saw one faint, circular orange light at each of three corners.

The next day, I bumped into a resident who lives on the road directly opposite my house from the previous evening's activity. This individual informed me that she had seen an object that matched my description of the bright object at 9 p.m. on December 3rd and 4th. I knew this meant that the object might return soon, and watched from my window throughout the night of December 5th. Two bright, pulsating objects appeared shortly before midnight, at least one half mile farther from my house than they had been the previous night. I watched for over an hour as they appeared to follow a grid pattern slightly above the tree tops near a river.

A quick scan of the internet reveals that Vermont is currently a hotspot for these phenomena. Many people have reported similar objects in my area; MANY more have likely seen them and remained silent.

I have attached a sketch of the two objects from the night of December 4th. I would be willing to speak with you by phone, but I must be careful not to allow my name to be associated with my report as it is presented to the public.

I went out for a smoke and was looking in the sky S.E. of my house. Noticed a silverish/white line coming towards me. I called for my wife and followed the object as it flew overhead. It was fast but not like blinding fast. flew overhead it was chevron, metallic and it looked as if I could grab it but it was above the clouds. No sound no lights and the breeze was clam. I would say object was 40ft wide at about 400ft above me. as I turned around to my wife it disappeared. I have lived by airports, been in the military and I have never seen anything like this.

Extremely bright light.

While driving east on 495 close to little River Turnpike, I noticed an oblong shape 100’,long light. The color was white and it was extremely bright. The light was a half mile away and it hovered at about 500’ to my left. The light did not move at all. Everyone in the vehicle saw it. My dash camera was not on so I plugged it in and looked again and it was gone.

The light was very strange. Even though it was extremely bright it did not illuminate any of the trees under it.

I have been on Army, Navy, Marine, Coast Guard, and Air Force bases, and I have never seen anything like it.

I was smoking a cigarette, when I looked out of the balcony, which faces to the southwest. I observed 10 lights in staggered formation cross southwest to east, finally blinking out in 15 second intervals after crossing the night sky.

bright flashes of light every 1 to 2 minutes, no sounds, no clouds in sky

Approximately 11:30 pm to midnight, Thursday July 3rd driving westbound on Sir Francis Drake Blvd. in Fairfax California, we saw bright flash of light up entire sky. Continued driving west and approximately one minute later saw another bright flash light up entire sky. Continued driving up White’s Hill and into Woodacre, San Geronimo Valley approximately two minutes later saw another bright flash. Parked car and witnessed 5 more flashes during the next 10 minutes. Flashes may have continued but at midnight we went home. There were no clouds in sky. No sounds were heard that would indicate lightening. There were no fingerlike arcs seen that would indicate lightening. Today we leaned that two teenagers in nearby town of San Anselmo told their parents they witnessed similar flashes in sky around 10:30 p.m. also on July 3rd. Tomorrow I will call the Mt. Barnaby lookout station to see if the volunteer fire spotter witnessed the phenomenon.

I saw a brightly glowing object in the sky that was pulsating red, blue, green and white light and was completely soundless.

On 3 January 2013, my son and I were watching TV in our living room. Our breakfast nook is just off the living room and I happened to glance out of the large windows to our left. I saw a brightly glowing object in the sky that was pulsating red, blue, green and white light. My son asked me if I saw what was outside the window and asked we what it was. I replied that I didn’t know and we both went outside to get a better look. The object was almost due east of our home and we didn’t hear any sound. It was above a ridge to the east and was completely motionless. After a few minutes I went back inside to get my binoculars and then observed the object for a minute or two. I gave the binoculars to my son to see if he could make out any details. He could not, so I got my iPad and took some still photos. There was still no sound and the object did not move. I switched the iPad to movie mode and shot a one-minute video of the object. Since it was rather cold we both! went back inside. About a minute later I noticed that the object was still in the same position and still pulsating with light so I went back outside and shot another one-minute video of the object. This all occurred at about 8:15 pm PST.

The next day I examined the videos and found that what we both thought was a single light had other, clearly visible lights around it. There seems to be a triangular shape to the lights. I have no idea what it was that we saw but I’ve never seen anything like it before. I enjoy seeing the night sky and know many of the constellations. Orion was well above the object as was Jupiter. The night was crystal clear. I don’t know what I observed I know what I saw. I am a high school chemistry teacher and my son is in training to be a firefighter.

21Jun2012 23:30 to 23:52 Pacific time I was looking from my house in Fairfax [37 deg 59' N 122 deg 36' ; elevation: 438 ft ASL] to the east [94 deg magnetic, not adjusted for magnetic deviation] about 4 degrees to the right of Mt. Diablo from my position. [Mt Diablo is about 3,400 ft], and the elevation of object appeared 1000-1500 ft higher, but seemed closer than Diablo, on a line passing through Berkeley towards Livemore.

Total observation time: 23:30 to 23:52.

Weather: clear with slight haze near horizon. No moon.

Object appeared yellow orange over approximately Berkeley [but could have been as far as Livermore], no blinking lights. Observed it with Bausch&Lomb 20x80 binoculars on a tripod, switching to camera every few minutes. Photographed [and viewed] through open window with 12x optical zoom 10 MP Lumix [full zoom], on highest resolution [3072 x 2304 Pixels (7.08 MPixels) (4:3 aspect ratio)] , hand-held but steadied against window frame, on setting: 'scene; night'. One picture I deliberately 'streaked' the image by slight hand movement, to obtain additional light information such as other colors, blinking lights, etc.

Object was nearly stationary, barely moving to SW. Object brightness slowly varied [not consistently though] over 20 seconds to 30 intervals from full brightness to invisibility [could not see it in the 20x80 either], then slowly brightening again over 20 to 30 secs. Color varied from light orange to medium orange. Object was a little fuzzy, even though 20x80 binocs were in sharp focus (which I checked a couple times; binoculars have separate left and right eye focus.) Addendum: There's a lot of air traffic in the Bay area; there's the SF airport and the Oakland airport. I see all kinds of planes, and they always have blinking lights associated with them, Nor are they a steady light orange color with no additional blinking lights. The object was higher than the general [incoming/outgoing] air traffic. Object finally disappeared behind a hill in my foreground. At full brightness, it was about like Venus or Jupiter, but light orange in color. At it's dimmest, it was not visible at all even when viewing through the 20x80 binoculars. There was no noticable change in elevation, nor was there any sudden changes of position or speed.

Possible conclusion: internally lit blimp, though this might be unlikely since, a) there were no navigation lights that I could discern b) it was operating so close to Oakland airport [class C] and San Francisco airport [class B].

6 red lights flying in a line over Fairfax, VA while changing speed and position before simultaneously disappearing

I am a recent college grad living in the Metro Washington D.C. area. I see hundreds of airplanes and helicopters in the sky on a weekly basis. I have never been intoxicated or on drugs, and consider myself to be a reliable witness.

On New Year’s Eve 12/31/10 at approximately 11:40pm, I was leaving a friend’s party in Fairfax, VA, and as I entered my car which was facing south, I witnessed 6 round red lights flying in a line low above the trees in a Northbound direction due east of my position. I’m not sure how far away they were, but the 6 lights flew in no apparent formation in a general northbound direction. I quickly got out of the car to get a better view, and alerted my friend and his cousin who were sitting on the front porch. Both witnessed the event alongside me. As the red lights flew, it was apparent that they were changing speeds, and changing positions with each other as they flew. The event lasted for a full minute, and just as the 6 lights began to become distant, they all suddenly vanished in unison. I understand that on New Year’s eve there is the possibility of fireworks in the sky. I assure you that these were not fireworks. I’ve never known fireworks to change speeds and to fly for a solid minute in one direction before burning out, not to mention the simultaneous nature of the disappearance.

Fast moving two humped camel back light source

At approximately 8:45 pm on 3-6-2010 I was on my second story deck in Fairfax, VA observing Orion. It was a perfectly clear evening sky. Low on the horizon I saw two planes due west crossing one anothers flight paths preparing to land.

From slightly below and to the right of Sirius, I saw an unbroken arc of dull white light shaped like a two humped camel's back move on a 45 degree angle toward earth's surface. This entire event took place in approximately two seconds.

It reminded me of search lights at a store grand opening that bounce off clouds, except there were no clouds. This did not appear to be the outline of any type of craft, rather the leading edge of an incredibly large fast moving light source.

Red/white lights on rotating box hovering, changed to green/blue lights as well when comes close and then flys away at surprising speed

Last night, as I tried to fall asleep in my sunroom I saw wat I thought to be a plane in front of me in the sky till I realized it was moving exceptionally slow. This box made an odd path around my house with white/red rotating lights. After a couple minutes it went from appearing very far away to HOVERING RIGHT ABOVE MY NEIGHBORS TREELINE (where I initially thought it was some sort of weather balloon but there was NO visible balloon over the box) where I got an exceptional view and I now regret not searching for my camera. The lights now included green an blue and rotated slowing just hovering not too distantly away. Next thing I knew the lights were flashing or blinking? and the object was suddenly far away and high and the sky where I could only make out red/white lights again.

Please let me know if anyone else has seen this on that night in Fairfax Virginia cause it was for sure not Santa!

BRIGHT LIGHTS MARIN COUNTY NIGHTS

Me and three friends were on a night hike on the Sleepy Hollow, Fairfax ridge where I hike all the time and look at the stars I noticed three lights from a distance that were in line with each other it was a full moon when we looked back at the objects they had rearranged their alignment but were not moving just hovering in the air they had really bright lights then the lights would dim off and they would float away and all of a sudden be gone then reappear but their was always at least two of them the whole time we were their when we first saw them their was three the most we saw was about six and when we left their was two during our sighting I called the police and told them what I was seeing in the hills it was a very clear night the police called us back and said to call the ufo expert for the night we did and I told him what I was seeing he asked me where Saturn was but I didn’t know where Saturn was also one of the objects all of a sudden dropped straight down really quick faster than it could fall but stayed in the sky that was freaky the whole thing was I wish I knew what I was seeing that night maybe I will one day but for now I guess its best to keep me and everyone else wondering I do know it was a ufo what I am wondering is if it was ours or something else also the sheriffs office that called us back were really interested and said they have been getting a lot of these calls lately and the guy I spoke to on the phone he was cool to even though he was getting a little frustrated with me but I have wrote the report like I was asked to do here you go.

Spherical object traveling eastward then northward from Dulles Airport, paralleling Route 50 in Fairfax VA.

Watching son's baseball game at Providence Elementary School, 3616 Jermantown Road, Fairfax, FA. Approximately 11:15, noticed object approaching approximately from west, traveling approximately east, paralleling Route 50. Appeared to be aircraft approaching head-on. Noticed that there was no contrail, as with other jets in air at time. As object approached overhead, turned approximately due north. Did not seem to be aircraft or helicopter. No change in perspective; object remained speherical in form, and did not change to oblong shape as aircraft would have. Did not appear to be floating on wind currents, but looked to be propelled. Was not satelite or space station, because did not travel in straight trajectory, was seen in daylight, and was traveling within earth's atmosphere. Object disappeared from view at approximately 11:25. Called Dulles Airport Operations Center, who contacted FAA radar center in Leesburg, VA. No reports of weather balloons or other such objects in airspace at time. Did not appear to be a small mylar "party/birthday" balloon, because did not drift with wind or rise on currents out of view, and seemed too high. Travelled at constant altitude with constant velocity.

Four flashing white lights

I was in my bed on the second floor the house reading at the time. At 12:44 am on Wednesday, I head a loud noise that seemed to be overhead of my house. At first I thought nothing of this sound since I thought it might have been an airplane that low but that changed when I heard what appeared to be the engine sound vanished. I assumed that the plane had left but then I heard it the sound again so I rush to my bed to see what is going on.

So I open the blind on my window to look outside to see what is going on. In the distance not that high up in the horizon slightly above the trees in my neighborhood were four round flashing white lights that were stationary objects at the time. They were flashing every second at the same time. There are no towers in this area I was looking at so I assumed it was some type of aircraft in the air not moving. But then one of the flashing lights on the west side started to move alarming fast toward the west. Did a quick reverse like slamming on the brakes. Then shot out of my line of sight. The other objects remained still.

Then the other three objects began moving. These three objects were in the formation of a triangle and by moving increased the size of the triangle but seemed to keep the same angel on the shape. Then the objects left the area, it appeared as though they had turned off the lights. With this all of a sudden the sound I had heard had vanished.

A Neonish Red Sphere Appeared in the Night Sky

While my friends and i were walking outisde, I was looking up into the sky when i see this Neonish Red Colored Sphere. I mean, i was staring into this one spot in the sky for like a minute and it just appears out of nowhere. My friends and i started to hear noises, sounding like an engine. We assumed it was a car, but there was no cars to be found. The object was coming twords us at an incredibly fast pace for about 7 seconds and then it started to drop down while still coming our way. It was starting to drop twords tree's and was hard to be seen. We could still see parts of its neonish color when it vanished. It seemed to be far away from us, but the size of the object was pretty big.

First time that we had experianced something like that. Even when the object vanished we still heard the "engine" sound. Thats when we decided to head back inside cause it scared us badly. Also, right before that object appeared, my friend was saying to himself, " I wish something memorable or exciting would happen" and it happend indeed.

This Sphere also did not leave a trail like a shooting star, meteor, or like a flare. It also did not have a "flare" effect like a flare would have when being shot into the sky.

4 dancing lights

I saw 4 circular lights dancing in the sky the sky was very cloudy the clouds were stratus clouds. the lights would come togeter in tghe center of their dance then they would sperate and go 4 different ways and then come back together again. the lights went on a crcle like square path. it lasted a very short time then they were gone almost as if they vanished.

Hi Peter,
Just noticed this sighting, about which you suggest an advertising display
as a possible cause. There was a quad-search light display in the Tysons
Corner area (NW part of the Capital beltway) in February. Driving the
beltway at night, it was eye catching and visible for a considerable
distance. I wondered if you would get any "UFO" reports from it.

As i was drinking coffee on the sidewalk outside a cafe i looked up and the clouds since i was wondering if it was gonna rain. I noticed a strange formation that seemed to be a gathering of small dark objects. As it passed directely overhead, maybe 2 thousand feet or less, they gathered into one object ,hard to tell if it was rectangle or circle, it continued to fly due east . If they were birds then how come they gathered so close? I kept an eye on it as it reached the bay ,seemed to be going 20miles an hour. I'm reporting this incase someone had a better look then me . I tried to find a north calif reporting center for ufos and only found south calif. Since i listen to Peter Davenport on Coast to Coast i decided to send it to you. I've never seen birds bunch so close, perhaps they were higher up in the sky ??? and it was a optical illusion? I doubt it, because it seemed to me as it approached towards where the sun was rising ,it was clear to be on object.I felt they were probe that gathered into one shape and where heading towards east bay.

If anyone reports a simulair sighting today please notify me since i've never seen a ufo before, only in dreams.

5 black orbs ,in formation, gather into one egg shape form and fly off at 20 miles an hour ,at 3 thousand feet.

I came outside to view the morning sky,the clouds etc. after checking for anything that moved, like planes ,some birds, i turn right above me just about and there was about 5 or 6 black dots about aprox. 3-4 thousand feet, as i made a double take and deciding it looked unusual,a formation, that didnt move,but suddenly they formed into one shape ,perhaps eggshaped, hard to say exactly. Before it did this , each one pusled a light that surrounded it, then instantaneously became one and moved at about 20 miles an hour towards the south east,towards where the sun was already 20 degrees or more in the sky. I was the only one to see it take shape the others that looked couldnt figure out what i could be. One person said it might be a weather ballon and laughed at me after i said i doubted that since it was first 5 dots that formed into one shape. It might be a coinsidance but i felt that it detected i observed it and questioned what it was. This seems to be my 1st sighting. I feel it was orbs that joined together. However maybe it was alien craft ,with super small aliens?? who knows . ... please notify me if anyone else had seen this craft on that day.

I had reported this last year already, but wasnt clear.

I had seen 4 or 5 black stationary dots. to the west ,at a low altitude. Suddenly, each dot pulsed a white light that surrounded themselfs.

Then, instantaneously ,these dots formed into a flying object, at the center. It was a cross between a rectangle and a egg-shape. (in a state or morphification?).

It then flew easternly in the sky, at a rate of 20-30 miles an hour.

I turned to 2 other people and asked them to take a look. They both saw it yet couldnt say what it was. One decided to run into the cafe and get a camera, but by then it was too distant to photograph.

What was first black dots turned into a blue/ray object.

Blue light fell from the sky like a missle

A Blue light fell from the sky that looked like a missle coming down. I was driving on 495 South towards rt. 66 when off to my left I noticed a bluish light fall from the sky. It could have been a meteor, but it seemed to look different that any I have ever seen.

Son (12 years old) brought my attention to a V shaped object moving from just below the the belt of Orion (SE skies) to the Southwest. The V's legs were at a 45 degree angle. It was about 10-15,000 feet and was burnt orange in color with possibly globular lights on its perimeter. As it moved I could see stars between the objects legs. It moved in an effortless, and noiseless manner and after about 10 seconds faded and disappeared before our eyes. The conditions were clear, and cool, with some light refraction from the city. I have a position of trust with the government and am a true skeptic. But I and my son saw this and it was no flight of birds, swampgas, helos, or any other aircraft. About 20 minutes later I heard aircraft possibly on afterburners moving at high altitude in the same general direction as this craft.

I was ouyside my cousin's home smoking a cig. before getting ready to go to work at Dulles airport as a aviation mechanic. I was watching the stars as it was a very clear night at that time. I was looking at the moon which was about three fourths full, and also seeing some aircraft in the distance. I believe i was facing south east or east looking at the stars just below the moon when an object went from my right to the left, at level flight, no noise whatsoever, no lights of any kind traveling above the speed of sound at a very low altitude ( a few hundred feet) above the trees in a residential area. I believe the ONLY reason I saw it, was because the moon was almost full and the object passed brtween me and the moon, the angle of the moon caused a reflection to shine off of the skin of the object. Same reflection as polished metal. The object left no trail to be seen (such as a shooting star) I've seen shooting stars and all types of aircraft and this WAS NOT either one of them.

In the northern sky i saw 3 white lights (small, as in the average aircraft seen at night) with a red, flashing light between the two crossing through the sky. There appeared to be a beam of light between 2 of the white lights.

I was sitting outside Fair Oaks Hospital and saw the following in the sky. There were 2 very distinct white lights and one other less distinct white light that formed a triangle shape. Counting the lights clockwise, with number one being the top: !: bright white; 2: dim white light (barely visable); 3: bright white. Between number 2 and 3, there was a small flashing red light. At first I thought it was an airplane because there are many aircraft in the area. However there was a stream of light between lights number 1 and 2 and a stream of light between lights number 1 and 3. In other words, there was no line for the bottom of the triangle. These streams of light I refer to, did not appear solid, but appeared as directed radiance between the other lights. It moved at the average speed that one witnesses in aircraft when near an airport. This is my second reporting of a sighting. I am very skeptical in regards to UFOs, but I cannot explain what I saw, especially the one I reported seeing in December. I expect this one was an earth-bound aircraft, but the one in December....well...I will never forget it nor the effect it has had on me.

I have spent 25 or so years since then, every day of my life, trying to figure out what I, we saw.

At first I thought the white orb was a helicopter w/spotlight, then realized first that it was silent,then there was no beam from the light, by this time we all were looking at it. Then after 20-30 seconds, two orbs, one out of the top and one out of the bottom, the orb out of the top and the bottom circled clockwise, so now there is one smaller orb, large orb, small orb, in a row up and down, at this point we all are amazed at what we are seeing, then after another 20-30 seconds, the two smaller orbs each broke-exploded into 5- 6- 7- smaller orbs, then zigzagged as in the same direction as they got smaller then disappeared, which left the large orb. After another 5-10 seconds, the large orb got smaller then gone.

Circular object one red, one orange, one white light

I had a strange urge to look out my window before going to sleep. As i got to the window I looked out above the houses across the street from me and noticed a strange object moving very slowly across the sky. It was circular or disk shaped and did not rotate or anythinglike that. There were three lights on the bottom of the craft one was orange one yellow and one red basically froming a triangle on the bottom. My window was wide open and it made no sound whatsoever. It slowly moved up and overhead and then i noticed something strange because at first I thought it might just be a helicopter. But it started shining a light up and into the clouds creating a circluar yellow white light above it in the clouds. I have thought about this alot since then and am pretty sure helicopters shine their lights down not up into the sky. As the craft passed over the top of my house I ran down stairs to tell my parents what i was seeing, but theycould have cared less. I then ran bck upstairs and into one of the rooms on the back of the house and could still see the craft moving overhead still making no sound and stiil shining the light up into the clouds. After another minute it flew out of my view. I still don't know what i saw. I know it was not a plane or helicopter, but totally unlike anything i had seen before or since.

I was 16 years old, working at ((deleted--pizza restaurant)) at Court House Plaza, Fairfax Virginia. It was before dark, I was taking out the trash behide the restaurant. I saw a flying thing above the apartment building. It was orange mixed with yellow and red. The shape was like a plate. It disappeared quickly. It had no sound. I was quite shocked for what I saw and had no clue. I came back inside and told no one. I don't expect anyone to believe me. I just hope that this information would help anyone who's doing a research on UFO.

Disk shaped craft appeared, slowly zigzaged across town and took off.

I was sitting with group of friends on the back deck of a house in the hills above Fairfax, California. We'd had a barbeque and were quite laid back watching the end of the day over the valley. The weather was clear, the sky darkening and our view of the town and valley below was perfect as the house was near the top of the ridge. The disk shaped craft seemed to materialize from out of nowhere. It was not there and then it was. It was silver in color, but seemed nearly translucent. The craft, which was approximately 30-50 feet across, widened from the narrow edges towards the middle. As we were looking down on the disk, we could see a dome on top which appeared to have view ports or windows of some sort. There were also green, red and white lights encircling the perimeter of the craft. There also appeared to be a smaller dome on the bottom of the craft. The craft then began moving in a slow zigzag pattern back and forth over Fairfax for about a minute. It then took off faster than I have ever seen anything move. It shot straight up and was moving so fast that it seemed to leave a trail of light images behind it that then disappeared. All of this occured with no sound by the craft at all. We immediately phoned Hamilton Air Force Base to check if they had possibly seen this craft on radar. We finally got through to the tower at the base and they stated they had not picked up the unknown craft on radar. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt as the craft was below the ridge line and appeared and disappeared so rapidly that it could have done it between sweeps of the radar.

Huge blimp-like craft; lights around the middle of craft; no sound; hovering above the highway.

I filed this away for a long time. In fact, I'm not sure of the exact date except that it was either in 1969 or 1970, late in the evening (it was also reported in The Washington Post the next day as an experimental aircraft). What prompted me to report this is the recent Sarasota, FL incident, where a man reported seeing a huge blimp-like craft near Myakka. He described it hovering above him. I began to think about what I had seen and decided to say something.... I was driving west on Rt. 50 toward Fairfax. My friend and I both spotted this thing "hovering" over Rt. 50, with lights that seem to revolve around the center of it. We slowed down to look at it. It looked like a blimp, but wasn't. It made no noise. Unfortunately, we didn't stick around to observe it better. But, I am sure this was no experimental craft. I have never forgotten this incident and I have never seen anything like it since. I spend a lot of time in Sarasota and from now on, I am going to spend a lot of time outdoors in the wee hours of the morning.
