Then it stopped. Then it moved quickly to the left. And then it moved straight down quickly. And then it disappeared. About a minute later it returned. Same erratic movements back-and-forth and up and down quickly. And then it disappeared.

Ghost like shape shifting white semi-transparent flying object

2 Air Force pilots based out of Pt. Mugu on a civilian flight. Co-altitude phenomena at about 1000-1300 AGL. Phenomena was about the seize of a CRJ and changed shape from a jellyfish like form to a long, semi-cylindrical shape horizontal to the ground. We were flying in a Citabria and got approximately 1-2 miles from the phenomena while flying to enter a right downwind for runway 26 at Camarillo. The object was fluid, white, wavy, and semi-transparent. Object changed shape and form approximately 3-4 times, then disappeared. Length of sighting was approximately 3-4 minutes.

Silver disc hovers high over rush hour traffic then speeds off over Pacific Ocean.

Rush hour... 101 northbound. Saw a solvery bright circle/oval in the wester/northern sky. Silver "disc" looked like it had a convex bottom... either above the sun's height reflecting the sunlight and super huuuge, or closer and emitting its own white light?!?!?!

It seemed to hover for a few seconds then race off shrinking into the sky over the pacific ocean. It seemed to go from round to crescent shaped like a reflection of the sun on the moon as it sped off. I don't believe the hype but I saw "SOMETHING" !!!!!

Bright buzzing light.

Well it was a round 3:00 am on 11/13/2009. My wife and I were in bed watching some television. While in bed we both saw and heard a bright light pass from one side of the window to the other. The really weird thing was the buzzing sound it made. The only way I could explain the sound would be like an electrical buzz. My wife and I talked about the event for a second to make sure we both heard and saw the light. Then we headed down stairs to see if we could see anything. Well we found nothing. My wife and I have never had an experience like this.

Noiseless object flies overhead at roughly 1000-1500 feet.

My wife and I started to walk the dogs and noticed a very bright light that was too high for a street light / building light, etc... - and too low for anything natural (stars / planets). As we comtinued to walk, a neighbor was approahing us while also walking his dog. I asked him what he thought of the light, he said" interesting" because it appeared to just stay in one place. As we stopped and talked for a few minutes while the dogs did their thing, the light didn't move. The neighbor eventually went his own way and my wife and I stayed until the dogs could finish. After about another two or three minutes, we noticed the light eventually started to come in our direction. Now since we saw movement, we stopped focusing on the dogs and watched it closely. Within about 30 seconds, it was noiselessly going right over our heads, and only about 1000-1500 ft off the ground. No strobes, in fact no lights whatsoever. AS it was overhead, we couldn't even see t! he original light that got our attention. It was in the shape between a diamond, and a spade on a deck of cards, with the more pointed part being in the front of the aircraft. My wife quickly tried to run home (which was about 7 houses down the block), to get our camera in hope of getting this before it was too late. By the time she and our son appeared out of the house, it was dissapearing East of us towards Thousand Oaks. It should be noted, my BS is in Aeronautics; and, I have worked as an Aircraft Mechanic / Manager in the Navy for over 23 years. I might not havre seen every kind of aircraft, but I feel pretty confident that I have enough experience to recognize something when I see it...this was not an aircraft.

Light circles star and then fades out.

This was a very brief incident but I still got a fairly good look. I was walking west down N. Rowland Drive in Camarillo and I happened to glance upwards. I saw what appeared to be a light traveling around the star Sigma Cassiopeiae, also called "Ruchbah" I saw it circle once and once it broke from the circle it traveled south west a short distance before quickly fading out. I would say the radius of the circle was a fourth of an inch or a little more at arms length. The object was slightly brighter than the star originally, and was whitish in color. When I first caught sight of it it seemed to be transitioning from one direction of motion, to another, and entered the circle shortly thereafter.

My exact coordinates at the time were 34 degrees 13' 30.23" N 119 degrees 02'45.74" W at an elevation of 143 ft above sea level.

It was moving slightly faster than a satellite.

Lewis Rd./ Camarillo FLYING SAUCER UFO seen in daylight during November, 2005

I live in Camarillo off of Lewis Rd. a few blocks from Ventura Blvd. The nearest cross-street is Adolfo Rd and Lewis Rd. It was sometime in November or December of 2005 in the afternoon around 4:30 pm. I was using the internet inside the house when I heard my two dogs outside errupt in a frensy of barking that seemed particularly alarming. I tried to ignore it for a while, but it only got worse and I was alarmed too.

I went outside to see what on earth was going on and I found my grandmother sitting in the garden. She told me excitedly that she had been yelling for me for a while to come and see a strange craft in the sky though I had not heard her. She had been watching it approach the house from the direction of Ventura Blvd towards Adolfo Rd., hovering, then flying in a path paralel to Lewis Rd.

The dogs were disturbed, barking like crazy looking upward at the sky over our backyard fence. I looked up and saw a light grey to silverish, reflective, solid disk hovering silently past the house rather slowly and indecisively and then picking up speed. Amazingly, it had the solid metalic bulk of a normal aircraft but with a saucer-disk shape and could slowly hover and "float" silently and weightlessly like a baloon and then pick up speed and follow a straight path. It had a reflective, very shiny exterior. I could see it very clearly and was amazed. It was like no aircraft I have ever known to exist in fact. It looked like your "typical 1950's" flying saucer.

My grandmother said that she had been watching it approach for some minutes and that it had been very low over the house and had ascended a bit by the time I saw it. It was oddly silent and left no trail. I was surprised that my dogs were so disturbed by it since they don't react at all when noisy helicopters and planes fly over the house often and at times quite low since there is an airport and a military base nearby. They seemed to be able to distinguish the unique and alarming nature of the craft as well as we two humans could.

I want to stress that we had a perfect view of the UFO as it was directly over the house and we both clearly saw it. As I watched it, it finally picked up speed, ascended and disapeared and reapeared in the atmosphere until about a block away it vanished.

In the past, when I have seen footage of UFO's, I have believed that they were pathetic ploys for attention and the result of special camera effects. I now know that this is not always the case. What I saw confirmed the t.v. footage I have so long been skeptical of, expcept, in person the sighting is clearer and more dimensional and tangible and "truthful" than a camcorder can convey. Sometimes the t.v. footage looks blured. What we witnessed was a solid clear craft. The truth of its shape was tangible though extraordinary. I wondered in amazement that a flying saucer could silently and boldly skoot though the skies of a quiet suberban neighborhood in such a clandestine way. I had to see it to believe it.

My friends say they have seen strange glowing UFO's in the dark early morning skies before work that are "star-like" but absolutely not stars. They note that there are many sightings around military bases and think that these are secret government projects kept from the public. It makes me wonder.

Three white objects in a loose triangle formation moving ESE

It was around 4:11 and I was walking East through a parkinglot on Ponderosa Drive when I noticed three white objects in the sky. They were not quite directly overhead and appeared to be stationary.

They were in a loose triangle arrangement with two of them fairly close to eachother and the other one to the upper right. Their apparent location relative to the trees seemed to change over the course of a few minutes and I gathered they were slowly drifting in a south east direction. There was one point where the two close ones started to move closer to eachother until they almost appeared to be one object, and then separated by a few "inches" again.

After about 15 minutes I lost sight of them as they moved further and "sank into the great blue yonder"

I suppose they could have been balloons in a calm spot but they struck me as moving in a somewhat peculiar manner for balloons so maybe someone else got a better look.

filmed 20 minutes of a UFO in the sky

I live out in the middle of no where, near a military base in California. I was sleeping until I heard Coyote's going nuts howling like I never heard them before. It sounded like hundreds of them. It was about 4:30 in the morning. So I woke up and went to shut the window when I noticed a bright object in the sky. And it was huge. It was only mabye 2 hundred yards away. When I woke up my girlfriend she could not believe what we were seeing. So she grabbed the video camera and filmed 20 minutes of it. It changed into 4 different shapes. We are not the only ones that live where we live. There are plunty of other people but not sure if anybody else saw it. and we would like to get this video into someone elses hands.

strange light above air base in southern California

I do not have a camera and it could not drawn because it was just a bright light that I could see from a mile or three away. I thought it was an rocket from the air base but it sat there in the sky for almost 30 min. Then it began to sink into the horizon out of my point of view. It could be a star but this would have been the birghtest star I have ever seen. It looked like it was definitley inside our atmosphere. Simply because I could not see any stars around it. The only stars I could see were directly above me. The stars above me were very dim due to the marine cover that was setting in. We are due for rain tomarrow so the clouds are building off the coast. The light was west of me so it was in the direction of the fog on the horizon but I could see it like it was right in front of the marine cover. I could see lots of planes flying around in the sky mostly five at a time. I saw two jets one below the object and one above it fly past the object coming from the south. I could tell they were jets because of how fast they moved past the object from such a great distance. It looked like alot of activity in the sky all at once then when I couldn't see the object because it went below my point of view I saw less and less air traffic. I am used to seeing bright stars in the sky but this was not a bright star it was inside our atmosphere. I have a feeling that this is goig to be over looked and not reported or it will be described as a weather ballon!

What me and my brother expierenced was strange to say the least there was a object about the size of a basketball across the street on top of my neighbors roof and this ball of light was very bright like when someone shines a spotlight at a wall but as the ball was in mid air there was nothing to reflect off of so as I am sitting there watching this I call my brother over very quietly to have a look and make sure in not seeing things and I want he saw it too then as we are sitting there watching this from my balcony like two minuets after my brother comes to watch the light is joined by another ball of light and this may sound stranger but they seemed to be dancing and as we watched for several minuets we looked at eachother like get the camera and as I got up I don't know if I moved too fast or made too much noise but the second I stood up they stopped moving as if they saw me and within two seconds they flew up and out of sight if u blinked u would have missed it

Chevron shaped black object flying low ans slow with no sound and appeard to have been pursued by 3 navy planes.

Observer: Education - doctorate level. Respected professional in education.

Event: Happened near Pt. Mugu Naval Air Station. driving S. on Lewis Rd., note 3 planes flying low along foothills of Santat Monica Mts. Assumed they were Navy planes but were not like F-15's... Had more standard olane shape un terms of wings, tail, etc. They were flying west then veered around mts. to south and went out of sight. Thought nothing of it other than, "cool", a free air show, like the Blue Angels or something. Then, looked to my left (east), and saw a large, low flying chevron shaped craft... black. Moving slow. Thought "Stealth Bomber. Because of low altitude and its distance, got a straight on view. It appears completely flat on top, not cockpit like a stealth bomber. It flew overhead. No sound, but I was driving, so maybe I just couldn't hear it. Could pull over (no shoulder), so turned off as soon as I could and parked and looked towards where it had been heading. Nothing was there. It had been flying E to W in about a 90 degree angle to Lewis Rd. Assume it was some aircraft I was not familiar with but....?

unbelievable craft observed at low altitude over camarillo, CA.

Was listening to CTCAM and heard you request any UFO sightings anyone may have had. I reported this by e-mail to the CTC program at the time of the observation but recieved no reply..

I have a BS degree in applied physics and worked 27 years as an aerospace engineer (flight and fluid mechanics) for the navy performing research and development testing of missile systems at the Naval Missile Center Pt Mugu, Ca.

Standing in my lemon orchard in Camarillo, Ca, on Aug 2, 2002 10:30 p.m. to watch annual meteor shower. No city lights, very dark.

Facing eastward looking upward, extremely clear sky black as pitch except background of stars and moon at my back. to the west.

Suddenly a craft with no lights and no sound moved rapidly from south by southwest to north by northeast across my line of sight .

Would not have seen it since it was flat black against a dark background but it was faintly illuminated by the moonlight so there was enough contrast to see outline.

Would not have noticed it except my eye caught the motion and I watched it traverse the night sky until it was no longer observable.

The following are my observations 1) craft was controlled: smooth transition, constant altitude, constant velocity, constant direction 2) time to transit across my field of view: approx 15 seconds. velocity estimated above mach 12 3) approximate altitude: only a guess but I estimate 15,000 ft - 20,000 ft 4) size: very large (huge). I estimate 200 ft - 300 ft length (minimum) 5) shape: concentric symetrical shape, flat undercarrige, beveled edges fore and aft rising to a flat upper surface (picture two inverted pie pans one smaller on top of the larger) 6) ratio of height to length: rough estimate 1 : 6 (no idea of top profile since I was looking at it broadside) 7) sound: absolutely none - silent 8) lights: none. totally flat black. barely illuminated against dark night background by reflected moonlight. 9) features: none that I could discern, surface appeared smooth 10) propulsion: not chemical, no combustion, no sign of heat or exhaust no sound 11) anamolies: extremely large, apparently frictionless motion, no sonic wave, no sound , no visable lights or leading edge surface heating,

Conclusion: Observed a UFO of unknown origin. material structure unknown, propulsion prossibly electromagnetic or gravity field manipulation, independent of aerodynamics, frictionless-no visible leading edge heating and no sound origin unknown..impossible to account for observation using known science and technology.

Unfortunately, I was alone and there are no other witnesses. no reports in the newspaper either.

I attest, and swear to, the truth of this event and my observations.

The craft made two passes by my location, i got a good look at it, i beleieve to have been taken onboard for a short time.

Date of citing: 5/21/02 Place: Ventura County Other References: Available upon request; I was with a friend of mine, who is also certain of what she has seen Before I go any further, I would just like to ask anyone with diminutive comments to please hold them to themselves, as I have already heard my fair share of them. I am certain of what I have seen, and the only reason I am willing to share this information lies within my hopes of finding someone in my area who may have seen it, and for the further research of UFO’s.

At about 1:45 in the morning I was out on my porch finishing a personal conversation with a friend. As she went inside to get ready to go to sleep, I thought I saw something flash by in the sky, but disregarded it as a result of my being tired. No more than one minute later I was proved wrong. I saw something (what I took to be an odd airplane, which isn’t uncommon with the navy base close by) flying through the air, in the direction of the base. What I am about to tell you I do not expect most to believe, as I would not had it not happened to me. I believe that I was taken onboard their UFO. My memories of it are very vague. I cannot tell you how I was taken onboard, but I can tell you how it looked. The UFO appeared to be circular, but as it got closer to my location, and slowed down to a hover, I could see that it was a triangular shape, and was given its round appearance because it was rotating so fast. I remember only a few things. I was on a table, but not by force, I felt like I had the option of being there. For various reasons I believe that I was being examined, but only to be released due to their dissatisfaction. To be honest I think they were looking for a female. The next thing I know I was sitting on the step of my porch. If none of the above is true after all, I do not know how I got there, because I am certain that I do not get up and walk over. I also cannot account for 30 minutes of that evening , the same amount of time my friend was in the shower. The thing that made me believe for certain is her description of what she saw dart off right as she was coming outside. Her description was identical to mine, only I had not given mine to her yet.

You must know that I do not, and have not ever taken ant illegal drugs, and that I am not currently on any medication that would alter my own judgment.

A flying saucer with many lights (some colored) was seen from my house at 1:30 AM.

This past Monday night, I got off of work pretty late, around midnight, and went home. I made myself some spagetti, and watched the tonight show for a little while. I was not very tired because I had alot of coffee after work, and caffine keeps me up, and since I had the next day off, I didn't see any rush to get to bed. I was just about to head to bed at about 1:30 when I took my cocker spaniel outside to use the bathroom before she went to sleep for the night. As I go outside, I was looking upp at the sky because the stars are very visable from my house, especially at that time of night. I saw what seemed to be a round object moving fairly slowly around the sky. It had bright lights, was definetly brighter than any star or planet. My dog saw it also, as she started to bark. I noticed blue and red lights on it as well. As it was hovering pretty far up, it moved in circles, not straight like an airplane or satalite would, changing directions frequently. I was amazed and immediatly ran inside to get my husband. When he came out, at first we couldn't see it, but after another minute or so, it appeared again, and did the same thing, circling around. We watched it for another five or so minutes, and then it was no where to be found again. I am sure this was no airplane or anything else of that nature. It did not make any sound (that which we could hear at least) and did not look like anything I had ever seen. I did not believe in UFOs until this night, but you can bet I know what I saw, and I believe in them now!

Liquid craft steals time

Three days ago between the hours of 12:00 and 1:00 am, near the hills above Padre Serra Church in Camarillo, I saw a silvery-spherical object hovering slightly above the horizon of the mountains. My two friends, who wish to remain anonymous, were with me and we decided to ivenstigate from a closer distance. When we pulled into the gravel parking lot of Padre Serra Church, the object slowly descended out of site behind the mountains. Before it descended out of site, from this distance, we could tell that the surface of the object had a distinct liquid-like texture resembling a ball of water in zero gravity. From where, I assume, the object had landed past the horizon; there was a short but distinct flash of light which momentarily lit the surrounding area to the point of daylight. When this happened, the headlights of my car instantly died followed by a sputtering motor about three seconds later. When I checked my cellular phone I found that it was also dead. I saw, what I assumed to be, the same spherical object rise above the horizon again. This time, at a terrific speed, the object approached us and halted directly above the car. My car was about and eighth the size of the sphere. It's surface was definitely liquid though we could not see what was inside due to the silvery reflection of the surface. My friends and I panicked and tried to run from the car in different directions at which point the object descended with the same terrific speed, encompassing the entire vehicle as well as us. At that instant, there was another flash and the cold feeling of the liquid on my skin was gone. Neither my friends nor I knew what happened but when we checked, we found that we could not account for a twenty-four hour period of time. Although we pleged to keep it a secret, I believed it important to inform someone.

Two crafts coming out 90 degrees from a burst of light.

Driving on the 101 North almost out of the San Fernando valley,I saw a burst of light that glowed like a star from the No-West skies.Seconds later 2 lights came directly out of the bursts side at 90 degrees and hovered for a few seconds.I dont remember what the lights did after that.The lights were much smaller than the burst and looked alot like headlights(which is what I summed it up to be).Los Angeles Thanksgiving weekend busy streets and skies. Then 10 minutes later Art Bells websight announced there were ten sightings of a UFO over Camarillo,California.Thats just what I saw!! So I told my story and sent it to Art Bells web site.Please send me other reports if any,this is my first real sighting that was confirmed...Thank you ((name deleted))

Multiple lights decend in formation, stop and form a swarm, then form two bright lights and mimic cessna and dissapear over horizon.

I do not remeber the exact date or time and some of the finer details of this event however it took place in early January, I believe in 1998. A more accurate report was filed with the Ventura/Santa Barbara MUFON chapter.

I was sitting in the car parking lot of Albertsons in Camarillo. It was the early evening and the sun had just set. The sky was sufficiently dark to see stars and it was clear exept for maybe a few cirrus clouds. I was facing NW and had just reached forward to change the radio station when out of the corner of my eye, to the right, I saw what I had first thought to be firework embers falling down from the sky. There were about 12 to 20 whight lights, about the magnitude of polaris, falling down in a ring formation. Suddenly these "firework" embers did something rather unusual. They stopped dead in the sky. This ring was suspended at what I estimate to be an altitude of maybe 1500 feet though I am not good at estimating altitude and they maye have been much higher.

After about 1.5 second pause, these lights suddenly started swarming around eachother erradically. If I recall correctly some were "glittering". This swarm moved almost right overhead me and some of the lights left the swarm and flew around the sky while others appeared to join the swarm from higher altitudes.

Two of the lights in this swarm started to become brighter and most of the lights in the swarm merged with these two brighter lights while the remaining ones flew out of the swarm and faded from few. These two bright lights now moved closer to eachother and then started blinking on and off in sequence. One would blink on while the other would blink off. At this point in the event, the object(s) would easly pass for a cessna. The blinking lights slowly began to move NW, parallel with the hill that runs behind Camarillo where I eventually lost sight of them behind the houses on the horizon.

I ran inside the market to tell my mom what I had just saw. A few minutes later on the way home we saw three or four fighter jets, in formation, flying from the direction the lights disappeared from. I imagine the jets were dispatched from Vandeberg AFB.

Summary : all three of us were friends. My friend,((Name deleted))f, saw it first. He said "What's that shiny thing in the sky?" I said, "Where? I don't see it." then I found it, and pointed it out to mmy other friend. Then, my friends went along their own ways, and I was looking at it still, I lost sight of it at times, but I always fouind it. When it was above me, I saw that the bottom was circular, with three "Lights" or something making a triangle. Before that, I saw that it was "flashing" too.

My friend, ((Name deleted)) saw it first. He was saying to me, "look at that shiny thing in the sky." And I looked, and I saw nothing, so I said, "I can't see it." Then I found it, and I was staring at it for a good minute there.It was moving around in a way I don't think anything on earth can do. And then, I pointed it out to my other friend, Amanda, and she saw it too. We were running the mile, because it was PE, and so ((Two names deleted)) jogged off. But I was still looking at the object. the side of the object was weird, i can't really describe it. When the object was above me, I could see the bottom was circular, and there were three "lights" forming a triangle. I had to at least jog for the mile, so I looked away for a moment and started to jog. When I looked back, It wasn't there. My friends are very nice ant trustworthy, I don't think they did something, obvious there, because we were in school!

1997 Camarillo, Calif. huge bright light moved at a fast rate of speed then hovered over my car then disappeared. 30 min. pos. 5/31/06

As I was driving to work on a Satruary morning. It was still dark, I only remember passing one car on Port Hueneme road near the Small Private Camarillo airport. I saw a huge white light in the sky at first I thought it was the moon. Then it started heading west at a high rate of speed with what appeared to be fire behind it making me think it was a meteor. But then the object changed directions and headed in my direction. It just looked light a huge round white light. I slowed my car and watched it for a what seemed like a long time. I was suprised when it came towards my car hovering over me for a while. I noticed I was staring right into the light and it didn't hurt my eyes. It didn't make any sound. As I passed under it. I looked back and it was gone. When I got to work in Oxnard there were some people in the parking lot that had witnessed the event from there. That's how big this thing was.

Summary : I saw a bright, white light moving very fast. It was about, maybe 2 or 3 miles away from me. I saw it outside of my window, and I saw another one, this time, it was red. I took 1 picture of it.

I was just getting ready to go to bed, when I saw a bright, white light. I looked outside of my window, and I saw someting moving VERY fast, faster than a jet. A few minutes later, I saw another one. This time, it was red. I took 2 pictures of it, but only 1 came out. They were roundish in shape, and I was awed by the colors of the objects.
