Was scanning night sky hoping to take videos of meteors using Nikon D500/500mm telephoto lens. Observed bright object. With my finger on video button, I could only capture about 0.5 seconds of the object that was travelling at very high speed (velocity). Have observed the International Space Station (ISS) a number of times, even directly overhead; this object was not the ISS. The speed of this object was impressive. Subsequently, I edited the video from 16 MB to reduce the file size. I have attached the shortened portion of the video which is included in a powerpoint slide file. The original video data shows the video speed to be 30 frames per second. I used some very basic image filters on enlarged images of the object to get a better sense of the object profile. Frame 6 of the PPT slide file gives what appears to be the profile of the object. I am an amateur photographer and environmental scientist; just being curious about what I observed.

Multiple small flying craft spotted in the sky above my house

I heard what sounded like a jet flying overhead. Looked up and did not see a jet. Little flying objects caught my eye. At first glance I suspected migrating birds. Then when I noticed how erratic the movements were I knew they were not birds. I pulled out my phone to see if I could record them on video and hopefully be able to see what they were. I was able to get about a minute long video. There are little things flying high in the sky. I lost sight of them behind a cloud. A few minutes later a plane flew overhead. I took a video of that plane flying by with the same zoom that I did the flying craft for comparison. You can clearly see the second video is a plane. But the first video I do not know what is flying about. I took some still images from the video as well to try and identify the crafts. I still have no idea what they are.

I observed two different orange balls at low altitude, below 5000 ft with the naked eye and a pair of binoculars at approximately 10:30 p.m. Pacific time December 24th, 2022 from an apartment in west Chico California. The two orange balls were in an area about 10 to 20 miles east of the city of Chico. I was unable to distinguish if the balls were a fire like substance or a artificial light. Both of the orange balls appeared at different intervals approximately 3 to 4 minutes apart from one another. I immediately checked the flight tracker after witnessing the aerial phenomenon and was able to locate only one flight in the area at the time and observed the airplane with a pair of binoculars north west of where I viewed the two orange ball phenomenons. The two orange balls went dark after a few minutes in the sky randomly. The two orange balls did not appear to be meteors as they were traveling far too slow to be a meteor. The flight data from the flight tracker website showed the airline at approximately 10,000 ft which is consistent with what I personally viewed after viewing the phenomenon. The pilot flying the airline may have witnessed the phenomenon as well. The flight was headed southbound from Seatac airport to the Sacramento airport. I am unsure if the phenomenon was extra terrestrial in nature. This phenomenon was something that I have never witnessed before in my life and I felt compelled to report my findings to you. I was looking at an object changing shape and color and moving oddly

I was recording the object for what I thought was 4 hrs it kept changing shapes and colors from sphere to cube to star burst pattern like a triangle without the bottom sealed. The object would flash brightly and I could see other objects shooting away from it and flashing either bright white or red
and moving in different areas of the sky while filming I saw a light illuminate the semi in front of me i also saw a red orb and in the video you can see it veer away from camera view and also it was sneaking up on me from behind i saw its reflection on the semis chrome passenger side mirror i zoomed in on the photo i captured from my video and i can see a small humanoid being in the sphere you can see it in the zoomed in photo. I opened my eyes at about 945am had no recollection of laying down I was fully dressed I remembered what I saw and checked my phone I don't understand why my videos are all only 2 mins long when I thought I sat the whole time recording I have headaches and have weird vision problems and my trucks right side marker lights all blew out its the same side the orb was in. i used star finder apps and satellite tracker and no stars satellites or planes where in that part of the sky.

Hey Grusch et al! Check it! I want to discuss this with an investigator. I have never hallucinated anything in my life, and what I saw is something you want to know about. I want to give a highly detailed account of how it moved (I am graduate trained to do this with detail) and what I believe its purpose was, so that experts can evaluate that. These are the things that Grusch said we need to figure out for national security reasons!

This was not a tic tac, large floating square, or weird-looking ship like that. It was a very large black vessel.

Me and my roommate were sitting on my couch having a lazy conversation while just looking up at the sky. Then I butted in and said "Why are the stars moving?" And he looks up and, all at once, we both said "holy shit!!! Whoa!!!" And we watched it until it was gone.

Before talking about it we went inside and both of us draw what we saw. We both drew the same thing. It had large bright lights on each end and dimmer lights in a row between them, in groups of 3. Around these lights, we could see it was oblong in shape. We both had agreed that the illuminated part was the back of the ship based upon its movement. When I looked out of the side of my eyes, I could see those dimmer lights were actually large squares that were dimly lit across the back of the ship. I wondered if they were huge observation windows, because it was moving so very slowly and low enough that it suggested that they were checking out the surface and windows would have been perfect for that. But I couldn't see anything in the 'windows' at all and they could have just been lights... or something else. Who knows what the dimmer lights were in the middle functionally, but different from the very very bright lights on the ends, we both agreed, and square, according to what I saw.

I have two tall trees (redwood is quite tall) in my yard and it was right in between them, so I was able to guestimate that it was lower than 10,000 feet but more than 5,000. I should have been able to hear it, if it were something using fuels we use on earth. But it was completely silent.

We also agreed that it was too dark to make out the actual shape of the whole thing - we could only see the shape around the illuminated part. Even so, I could tell that it was larger than just what was visible around that row of lights because stars around it were blocked out as it moved by (I live in a rural area with lots of stars). So whatever it was, it was absolutely HUGE. But couldn't actually see the whole thing. Just the back side with the lights.

We both saw basically the same pattern of movement too, at first. It was just drifting across the sky very very slow and low. Most of the time it was visible the ship/object it was drifting like this. Patrick saw it disappear, but I was able to keep track of it a little better because when it shifted direction and sped up, I was looking at it out of the sides of my eyes - using my rods - to get a better sense of the shape of it and how it moved. When he saw it disappear in front of his eyes, I saw it all of a sudden do a tight slingshot and shoot straight up into the sky. It was the coolest thing to see - like the ship could somehow create the illusion of gravitational pull and associated centripetal force with something like an imaginary black hole right next to the ship or something. It was a very tight, and very fast slingshot. Super COOL! What else can they do, if they can create imaginary black holes and associated magnetic fields wherever and whenever they want!!! The closest thing humans have to that is a magic 8 ball. The G force of that maneuver would probably break apart or liquify humans without some super star-trek gadgetry. Can they then manipulate space-time too. Well, obviously they can. That is pretty cool.

Anyway, within a second, it was so high it had to be at least 60,000 feet. Stayed there a few seconds. Then it came about halfway back down just at quickly and hovered for about two seconds at around 30,000, then shot back up to the stratosphere again, straight up in just as quickly as before. It stayed up at that high altitude for about 30 seconds, darting back and forth across the sky so quickly, and changing directions at right angles, zigzags, and the like, that it was hard to keep track of. There was absolutely no way this was any craft on earth. We do not have anything close to those capabilities or insane speeds. If a plane goes 500 and this was twice as high as a plane, it would have to have been going 10,000 miles an hour or something, at a minimum. Unbelievable. That was not a craft of this earth.

Then after darting around a bit it either flew even higher or we both lost track of it.

That same day, hours earlier, someone saw a huge ship just appear over Lake Tahoe, hover there over the water for a few seconds, then disappear. It was so huge that she said that the ship/object was almost as big as the entire lake. This was as huge as what we had seen. From the trajectory we saw it drift in the sky, too, a straight line would lead right back to Lake Tahoe. So I wonder if we both saw the same thing for that reason too. I checked the reporting sites - no one else in Tahoe or my town reported anything. Just these three people. In comparison, the incident in Michigan in 1994 had 300 witnesses including many many first responders. So this makes me wonder. But, it was seen in Tahoe for only a few seconds. And from there to my house, the whole area is rural and relatively unpopulated in many areas. And my town, no one would have seen it if they had happened to be looking up at the sky, which we just happened to be doing - randomly - at that moment. So not many people TO see it.

But here is the most interesting part. I think I know what they were doing.

Right in the middle of that direct line between my house and Lake Tahoe was the Bear Fire. By this time, the fire was under control and the smoke was largely clear. But three months earlier, the bear fire had burned so many acres so quickly that it sent a plume of smoke 12 miles high into the sky. This is several miles outside of our atmosphere, and easily seen from space. I think that the inhabitants of that ship were monitoring earth for that kind of activity, and decided to come check it out. Unless they took a while to pack for their trip or decide to come, it took them about 3 months to get here. Assuming everything I have written is enough of a picture of what actually happened, then the ship appeared over Lake Tahoe, then went directly toward the burn scar and flew slow and low over it, then as soon as they had passed the perimeter of the fire (which is where my house is), they left the area. Clearly, they were checking out what that huge plume of smoke was all about.

I find this very interesting. I means we matter to them, whoever they are. They monitor us, from where they are. It means that they are concerned with how we are destroying our earth, for one. Perhaps what we do here on earth effects them directly in some way. But they might be benevolent and care about our planet just on moral principle even though they live 3 months away. Considering how fast that ship could move and what it could do, they come from pretty far away most likely. Perhaps coming to visit earth for them is similar to how we take cruises here. If I were an alien I would find humans fascinating. I mean, look at all the stupid stuff we humans are doing right now! To the earth, to each other… it would make for an interesting scientific voyage or vacation, I would think. Or maybe they aren't benevolent at all, and coming to earth is fun for them like burning ants in the driveway is fun for little boys. Who knows!!! But either way, they care in some sort of way. They came all the way out here just to check that out. And they have an active interest in us, for some sort of reason.

This is concerning to me. If they do have ill intentions, it appears that our best weapon is a magic 8 ball while they have abilities to do things that we have not even yet discovered are possible. Human beings are surprisingly easy to manipulate (I have a phd in sociology, which shows me that). This is because the part of our brains that is in control is unconscious, and all humans stubbornly think that the conscious part is in control. I'm guessing tradecraft people know this too. If I can do it as a human, they can do it way better because they will undoubtedly have better tools than any human would have. I'm just being logical here. Whatever their interest in us is, there is probably little we can do to dissuade them if they want to treat us like pets. It would be nice if, not that we finally admit these things are all over the place, we actually started LEARNING about them. If we are about to become pets, it would nice to know ahead of time. If they are benevolent and want to help us avoid world war three, that would be fantastic because we can't seem to do it ourselves. We just keep repeating the same pattern over and over.

Light Formation (with faint outline of oblong craft in between lights) in night sky .

Caught my attention when I noticed two unusually bright "stars" moving slowly and in unison across the sky. When I looked directly at it, I could see that the "stars" were actually lights on either end of a craft. in between the two bright lights was a row of very dim lights on the body of the craft. these lights were so dim that i could not see the outline of the craft if i looked directly at it: too dim to be picked up with my cones. but i could make out the craft attached to those two bright lights with my peripherals.

My roommate also saw it and he said there are no drones that look like that.

It was 1/3 to 1/2 the size of cassiopia in the sky. If it were a 747 then it would have just taken off. that is how large it appeared in the sky. of course, it was mostly likely much higher than 10,000 feet because of how hard it was to make out the form of it and the fact that it was completely silent (meaning that it was probably a very very large craft).

What i saw was the back end of the craft, because as I watched it the lights moved north slightly but mainly those two bright lights on the ends got dimmer and closer together until they disappeared, meaning the ship was flying higher and higher in the sky until it was no longer seen. the lights were still quite far apart when they faded completely from view. all of this from when i first saw it to when it disappeared took about 8 seconds.

The silence of such a large and obnoxious thing comparatively low in the sky and the way in which it moved is what made me stop to write this report. I have no way of explaining that at all. I am sure there are planes out there with weird shapes i have never seen, but silent ones that move straight up in the sky? any aircraft I know would have made a ton of noise that close to the ground, and they move across the sky. not up. I don't know of any craft with light formations like that, or that can move straight up into the sky like that. I have never seen the alien autopsy, don't watch any of those cable channels, never had much of an interest in UFOs really... but either our government has some pretty fancy top secret spy planes or I have no idea what I just saw.

For the next half hour, the same or another craft was flying around in the same general vicinity. At first, a single light high in the sky in exactly the spot where the craft had disappeared. Of course, it could have been the front end of the tail I had seen a few minutes earlier, now coming back down. Just that now it was a single light and I couldn't make out any craft. The first time I saw the light it went from faint to extremely bright then turned off entirely. Then, a few minutes later (maybe ten) I saw a light again, much higher in the sky, and it came on and off periodically and moved across the sky as if attached to a very high flying plane going 500mph at 30,000 feet. It moved differently than the first light. More like a very high flying plane - across the sky as one would expect. It was not a satellite - way too close for that. It was now moving just like a plane or something. If I had to guess, the first bright and disappeared light was the same unidentified cra! ft I saw earlier. It did not move like anything I know and was silent. The second moved like any other normal airplane - across the sky - save only that I could not hear anything in the sky when I should have been able to. If it was the same craft, then it went way up in the sky, way back down again, then up a little bit more and then across the sky.

Large Structure Class UFO with "Drone/Repair" Class UFO.

Large ufo structure class sighting. Additional drone type ufo doing repairs along edges of large structure. In the space where the large structure sat, there was a clearly definable dark, very dark area, which was extremely distinguishable from the sky which was starting to get lighter by the minute due to the sun rising. There is no possibility that it was a cloud, it was precise and had an exact shape. I couldn't take an adequate picture, but I drew a picture of the approximate shape. If it weren't buried In a pile of old files, I would post it. However, the large structure wasn't the only thing that convinced me it had to be an alien origin. In the center of the larger object it appeared a set of lights began moving to possibly open up a what I would assume to be a hangar type area? And then a light appeared and began moving along the outer edges of the overall object very precisely. Moving most likely at hundreds of miles an hour. It would stop every so often and "light up" the area it looked as though it was repairing the hull of something for only fractions of a second to a second or two at most. Every so often it would move much quicker between what I would call " apparent repair points" and changed directions as it went along the structure multiple times, with very precise movements. The overall structure took up about 1/4-1/3 of the sky that was visible within our eyesight and leaning back to see as much as we could. My girlfriend and stone cold sober roommate witnessed in addition to myself. I probably should have posted this much earlier but I have been skeptical of what I saw considering how crazy it was. Also have been searching for any account of an identical sighting. I've never seen anything like this before and this is coming from someone who has seen a dozen different ufos with a dozen different people. It made me feel incredibly small. To anyone who doesn't believe this story, that's up to you. But trust me I know what we saw and I am only posting this in hopes of creating a better account of sightings such as this. I probably could add more detail and try to make this post more legit seeking but that's again not my point.

we (friend and I) experienced a 45 minute time loss. We left bed bath and beyond store at 6:00pm. It was new years eve and the employee there told us they close at 6pm and she unlocked the door to let us out. So we know it was exactly 6pm. A drive to my house should take no more than 10 minutes from that store,yet we arrived at my house at 6:45 pm.

We have discussed this a few times and with family and we can't figure out how we lost time. We were both shaken up about it at the time. It still bothers us because there isn't a logical explanation as to what happened to us that night.

The object was bright, because it is filmed in infa red. I could not see any lights, only brightness indicating heat.

With my FLIR ONE attachment to my I phone 5, I view the heavens. I have viewed and taken 8 videos of UFO's or US Military zapping incoming meteors. There is a large meteor coming straight down towards earth. I viewed this with my FIR ONE Infa Red attachment. I cannot see any of these bright objects with my naked eyes. A UFO comes from the bottom left and ZAPS, several times, the center meteor at the 36 second mark to the 43 second mark into the video. It travels just below the planet that is blue in color, and moves diagonally to the upper right pasts this meteor then comes back and zaps it trying to move it out of its trajectory from hitting earth. I have 8 such videos, with different directions. This is looking straight up. 90 degrees facing East. At the 32 second mark into the video you can see the UFO craft moving from bottom left to upper right diagonally.  there is a blue ball in the left corner that I think is another moon or planet. In the middle the bright spot is a meteor heading towards earth.

UFO zaps meteor, moves right diagonally, then moves backwards and zaps Meteor.

I was taking a picture of this planet, and video taping it. Along with two bright objects sitting in the center of the view of the camera.

This video attached is 1:19 seconds long, one minute 19 seconds long.

At the first of the video you will see birds flying in and around the view.

At the one minute mark a UFO comes from the bottom left and moves to the top RIGHT. At first when i saw this, i just thought it was a bird flying. it is actually a UFO, saucer shaped oval shape, with energy coming out both sides making it look like an upside down V or upside down U. Freeze this video and take a still picture and negative picture. You can see the object is oval, emitting energy out from the sides , both sides.

At first the video shows a planet in the bottom left at the 7 o'clock position, and a meteor in the middle, that is the bright spot, and a meteor to the left of it curving around. The meteor in the middle is headed towards earth..

It has been in that position a long time. I believe the two bright objects at the top and bottom that are horizontal are some kind of space station.

This video was taken on ; Friday, September 1, ;2017, &10:21:33 PM, about 70 to 80 degrees looking east above the horizon, of Chico, Calif. Looking almost straight up from my back yard. One fist doubled up is one degree.

Check it out, when this UFO went backwards zapping this meteor, I knew then , and later when re-looking at it, that it was not a BIRD It does not look like the birds flying around in the first part of the Video. birds do not fly backwards.

watch it tell me what you think, and I will tell you what I think.

I believe a UFO or military vehicle it moving this meteor away from hitting earth.

Oh, this happened at night, and I could not see any of this brightness with my unaided eye...only on IFA RED, with my FLIR ONE ATTACHMENT to my I phone 5 camera. Not on a digital camera..

Observed circular gold-like object, approximately 4-6 times larger than Venus, (the evening planet). Object appeared in the NE sky, traveling in a slightly irregular pattern at progressively lower altitude, diminishing.

Then, 4 smaller objects of similar shape appeared, 2 traveling parallel headed east and 2 traveling parallel west on the same plane of sight.

Both pairs of objects accelerated away from where the larger circle of light diminished.

golden ball with tail of sparks over sierra Nevada Mountains

I was at the west edge of Chico, looking east toward the Sierra Nevada Mountains, with a dark sky above. I saw a large, bright golden ball with a thick tail of what looked to be sparks, moving at about the rate of an airplane. It was moving from south to north and lowering in altitude gradually, not steeply.

As I watched, the ball split into two pieces and both continued in the same direction. The one in the front was larger than the one in the rear and it began moving faster than the smaller one in the rear, so the distance between the two became greater as they continued in the same direction from south to north and lower toward the mountains.

From the time I first saw it, as one ball with a tail of sparks until after it split into two and both disappeared behind the silhouette of the Sierras might have been a minute. I could not see any red/green lights that would indicate it was an airplane, and it moved much slower and was much larger than a meteorite,! and it was too close to be a comet.

North Chico! Bright white cone shaped lights over Richardson Springs Rd.

I was driving home north of Chico, out passed Richardson Springs when I saw bright cone shaped beams of clear/white light. Extremely bright. I arrived home then went out side and starred in that direction, I continued to see it flash at random for about an hour. Sometimes in different locations.

Three yellow lights in a row parallel to the horizon moving slowly in an up and down motion and a side to side.

I woke up to use the restroom around 2:30 AM and upon my return to bed my wife said she saw a three lighted object in the sky. I looked at where she was pointing and noticed three lights moving up and down then side to side in a lazy slower way. The lights were yellow in color and a little bigger than a big star in the sky. They would grow brighter then fade almost to nothing. They were parallel to the horizon, in a line with each other, and close together.

I grabbed my binoculars and steadied them to the side if the window pane to get a closer look. Upon seeing them I also noticed four fainter light "beams" emitting from the UFO in a direction of NE. SE. EW. SW.

We were both excited to see our first UFO and thought it wouldn't happen again but to both of our surprises it happened again last night, (10/24/14) which is why I am writing this report. I got smarter and while it was happening last night I download a night sky app to see where in the sky I was seeing it.

The lights were in between Jupiter and the star Algeiba. It has happened around the same time for two nights as far as we noticed. Hope someone else sees them one night too!

It was floating very low to the ground.

After going on the back porch for a smoke, what I saw was unbeliveable, we moved to the parking lot for a better unobstructed view.

UPDATED REPORT AS REQUESTED. . . . . . . . .

Again, until the 911 operator called me back, I didn’t even know a National UFO Reporting Center even existed.

You requested to place our fingers where we first saw what was flying over to where they had climbed out of sight and blinked out. We used a degree finder to be as close to how much of an angle we were watching. The degree finder gave us a value of 197° until each of them went straight up, so high as to we couldn’t see then anymore and basically they blinked out. Again I am NOT sure as to exactly what my wife and I were watching. She definitely did NOT get worked up as much as I did, because again I wasn’t sure what exactly it was we were watching.

OK, I do have an update as to the direction they were traveling. You asked what direction the travel was. As by compass the (Crafts) or whatever, they were came from the Southeast and was traveling I the direction of the Northwest. I know you said you had sightings of the same things just South of Seattle Washington, but somewhere the (crafts) must of changed direction of travel. Again, this started at 21:01 hours and this lasted about a total of 29 minutes.

Contacting the National Weather Service about wind speed at our level, which there was NO wind on the ground but you want wind speed at 3000’ and 6000’. The closest we can come with since all we can seem to get are recorded messages, but the wind speed at about 3000’ was North West at about 10mph. At 6000’ they weren’t very clear but again North West at between 15 and 20mph. You also requested to contact the F.A.A., that was a total joke especially in this area, all we could get were recorded messages, NO matter what department we pushed the buttons on the phone to get to. All we could get were recorded messages then when finished, there were NO areas to leave a message it just simply just hangs up. To be honest, right now I am almost sorry I reported what my wife and I were watching and probably will NOT do so in the future.

We are trying very hard to do the right thing and make the calls you requested we make and all we seem to get is stonewalled. I really don’t need this. Right now we have about five (5) hours trying to report what we were watching. Again like I explained, I did contact our newspaper office, again to get a recording. And in the past 5 and ½ hours they have refused to return the telephone call, I know because of what it was. OK, I am going to try to get six (6) radio stations involved and two (2) two Television Stations, and hopefully again we will NOT get stonewalled again. Up here I already have over 20 people looking down their noses at us. This is really making the both of feel like fools. Again, you are right, I cannot possibly tell you the exact speed and height of the (crafts) we were watching. I have a very close guess since we do have an airport very close to us and watch jet aircraft all the time and 1 and 2 times the speed of sound. Normally, anytime this happens there is a very large sonic boom. These (crafts) last night were totally and I mean totally silent.

You asked about the size of the (crafts) against a possible full moon, We both can tell you our guess they were at least 10,000’ feet up but they were large enough even at that height these (crafts) were would completely cover a full moon plus some. And according what I could see against a very clear sky, Above the very bright RED and Yellow lighting, the (crafts) appeared to be a saucer shape. Again, the sky was clear as a bell.

We hope this answers some of the questions you had, especially since we are getting stonewalled where ever we have called, now we are getting laughed at by the media also. I do know in Chico right now there were several more people I personally know witnessed the very exact same thing. I have tried very hard to get them to come forward with you and submit a report also. This is with NO avail, they are all too afraid of being laughed at. Personally, I don’t give a d**** what other people think, this is what my wife and I were watching, and other that being stonewalled with the National Weather Service, the F.A.A. and the news media I just simply want you to know what we were seeing.

My curiosity is very high to know exactly what those (crafts) were we were watching.

9 Very brightly lit (red and yellow) saucer shaped crafts. Total time about 18 minutes.

At approximately 10:01 pm in Chico, California, I first viewed a very bright red light with a yellow one in the center. I had walked out on the back porch and was watching this thing move very rapidly through the sky.

I called my wife out to see if she could recognize what this thing was. It was moving very fast. There was NO way these were military flares because they were so bright but not only moving toward the North but were also rapidly moving upward until it blanked out of sight. I would guess this object was between 10,000 and 15,000 feet up.

We thought the sight was over until about 15 seconds later a second one appeared and looked as if it was going a little faster but lower, then five to 8 seconds later a third appeared, then a fourth. We tentatively watched these things wondering what they were. I did call 911 and operator took the report and was teasing a little like we were seeing things until the 911 center started to light up. I hung up with 911 and continued watching with my wife when in about 5 minutes went by and 911 called me back and gave me the number for the National UFO Reporting Center. I didn’t know this even existed.

We continued watching these “things” go by. We moved out into our parking lot where we could see with a completely unobstructed view. I a total of 15 minutes went by after 911 called back, my wife and I witnessed a total of (9) nine of these very strange and very fast moving craft. I would guess these things (crafts) or what ever they were, was moving Northward at what I am guessing to be about between 4 to 5 times the speed of sound. Not even a sound was heard but as they were going by so fast, again heading Northward but also climbing upward rapidly until they completely blinked out of sight. Yes, I will be very honest with you, I would really like to know what they were. (Very Curious.)

I felt strange reporting what I saw because I know the operator thought at first I was some kind of a nut. Then she said the 911 lines were all lighting up. They, (these strange crafts) appeared to have 5 maybe 6 very, very bright red lights with a very bright yellow one in the center. I have NEVER seen any military craft be able to move that fast and have that bright of lights under them. There was NO aircraft strobe lights and way, way too bright to be aircraft marker lights. After minutes of watching them, I was all worked up but now see no more objects in the sky.

Report of Unusual Lights seen over Chico, California.

Report of Unusual Lights Seen in Chico, CA 18 April 2014.

At approximately 2200hrs., on the evening of 18 April, 2014, my daughter and I spotted approximately 10 luminous lights traveling in an arc from the southeast moving to the West. I first noticed two bright orange-colored lights moving across the night sky as I was driving Northeast on E. 1st Avenue in the city of Chico, CA.

I immediately pointed out the lights to my 13 year-old daughter, who asked me what I thought they were. I pulled the car over at the nearest safe place, at 1035 Village Lane. We exited the car and immediately noticed that several other lights were appearing over the trees from the horizon. We were facing the Southeast.

The lights would appear over the horizon from the Southeast and travel Westward. The lights appeared in pairs as if they were in a formation. The lights had a steady, light-orange tint to them and were fairly large. It was hard to judge their size, but I'm familiar with how bright and large Venus can appear, so I would approximate their size as if 5 or more Venuses were put together into a single object. The objects would travel in a straight course, heading Westward and then disappear from the sky. No noise was emitted from the objects. We observed the lights for a total of about 10 minutes. Most of the objects appeared to have a constant speed, with one object being fairly faster than the others.

During this period of observation my daughter took a one-minute video of some of the objects with her ipod. She captured three or four of the objects as they moved through the sky. I will email the video after finishing this report.

After pulling over at 1035 Village Lane, I called my wife (our house is close to where my daughter and I were making our observations) and asked her if she saw anything in the sky. Both she and my 16 year-old son went to the front yard and saw some of the lights my daughter and I observed in the Western sky. However, my wife and son both reported seeing other objects to the East. They saw two dimmer objects compared to those seen the West. They seemed higher and farther away. First she saw two separate lights come close together and they appeared to cross each others flight path. One light continued on its flight path, while the other turned into three distinct luminous objects, and then quickly merged into one object again.

It is interesting to note that this observation was made in the medium-sized city (population 87,000) of Chico, CA. The Chico Municipal Airport is not far away from the observed lights and the lights appeared to be fairly close to the usual air-traffic patterns of the airport.

Light moving across sky and then dissipates and disapears within 15-20 seconds.

I have been living in Chico since 1977.

In 1987 I was laying in a field of grass and looking up at the sky and it was evening about 11pm. I noticed a small light moving among the stars. The light moved in every direction impossibly. It moved in circles and up and down and side-ways and it made no sound. It looked like a star or satellite but like I said it moved im-possibly. It did not move across the entire sky as it only covered a little space in the sky. It continued for a few minutes and then dissipated. It was soon out of my vi-sion. This has happened 10 times in my life the recent being In February this year 2014 seeing 6 lights within a two week period and one night seeing 2. It always happened at nightmore frequently around 7pm. I was in upper Bidwell park. 1 light was more orange than the usual yellow/white star looking light. There was never any sound. Some moved irratically and dissipated quickly while others moved straight and very fast and dissipated (at least 1000mph based on time and distance travelled) or turned slightly and dissipated. It felt as if when I noticed them is when they dissapeared. There is an airport near where I have seen most of these lights. I have been walking at night in the park for years and am very aware of all of the different air traffic including satellites. No other craft like airplanes or other lights followed the lights. 1 time one of the lights turned from white to orange as it dissipated

Craft emitting strong white beam hovers over my road, then checks out the adjacent hills.

I live at the mouth of a small canyon on the edge of the foothills.

Around 11:30 PM on July 23, 2012, I happened to glance out my second floor bedroom window and saw a large, round, white, very bright light hovering over the narrow, rural, dead-end road that I live on. It was a little higher than the telephone poles and seemed as wide as the road. I had seen a similar object several months ago, but this time it was closer to my house. I quickly turned off my house lights and when I did that, the bright light gradually turned away from me as a searchlight might. It began to slowly drift toward the northeast, all the while moving the white beam over the foothills. I could easily see oak trees illuminated by this process. Occasionally the beam was directed into the sky. I could not discern the shape of the object (although in my first sighting I saw, dimly, a classic saucer shape). There were some red lights on the object which in the first sighting were! clearly arranged in a circle near the top of the object. This time I couldn’t see their position as clearly. The craft eventually drifted around a distant hill and out of sight.

Amazing what the eye can’t or won’t see? On May 22, 2012 at about 1pm, my neighbor and I were playing a round of Frisbee golf at the Chico course off highway 32, about 4 miles east of Chico and it is part of Bidwell Upper Park. I had brought my camera along, Cannon 3.5 mega pixel in the Auto mode. I wanted to take some vista shots and some shots of my side-arm delivery that is very spastic, lol. On the 6th (I posted the wrong hole # on my report to CTC website) hole my neighbor took a sequence of 3 pictures (the 3 pictures took less than 3 seconds to take) of me doing my drive from the tee box….. the first one shows my bad form and the white disc already going the wrong direction,lol. The second one shows me finished with the drive and the disc has already landed. The third picture is of me staring out in the direction of my errant shot and surveying the trouble I had gotten myself into, lol. We ran into a young rattlesnake on the next hole, it went on its way and we went on our way. Other than that, an! uneventful round of Frisbee golf, lol,lol.

Well, on Thursday, the 24th I downloaded the pictures and went through them to delete the ones I didn’t want to save. When I got to these 3 pictures I was blown away by the third one for sure. In the first one, you only see my white disc and the clouds in the background, the second one shows me finished with follow through and the disc just landed, only the clouds in the sky. The third one, it looks like I’m staring right at the UFO. But I did not see it, nor did my neighbor who took the shots and we didn't here anything. But the digital camera did catch it. When I magnified it with my Cannon Utilities program it showed a lot of detail of the craft. I submitted it to CTC on the 25th, they posted it on the 26th in the photo of the day section. I’ve had 3 e-mails from people saying it was a Tiger Yellowtail Butterfly….. my simple magnification shows a craft, not a yellowtail butterfly. How come the first 2 didn’t have the butterfly in the picture field? I’m hoping that you will be able to further enhance it and give me your feedback. It appears to be ¼ to ½ mile away and about 500-1000 feet high, I’m guessing. So Peter, here are the 3 pictures of the sequence, I have not sent these to anyone else….don’t need to scare people with my ugly mug,lol. I await your feedback, thank you ahead of time. different shaped craft seen nightly from my front porch>more than 1

I live in Chico, ca. and for the past 3 months i have been noticing some strange objects in the sky. The larger craft are spread out in different places in the sky.They stay at the same spot night after night. They all emit red, green, and blue lights. There are also other craft that move in the sky all over zipping back and forth. They are different than the others as to size and shape. They seem to spin alful fast at times. Lately i've noticed them moving in an octagon pattern that when they finish the shape there looks like they throw off some kind of clould like stuff. At night you can see them moving thru the sky leaving a bright purplish contrail. Something is happening and it's real strange.

Flashing Lights Moving In A Circular Motion.

Okay, So i was layin on my couch at about 9 o'clock p.m. or so and i was just staring out my window. Triangle shaped formation of lights slowed and stopped, then changed direction and flew off.

On the night of July 18, 2010 at around 10:00 pm in Chico, Ca, while walking home from the store, I witnessed what I thought at first was an airplane. Upon looking at it closer I noticed that the light formation on it was different than the airplanes that I’m so used to seeing. What caught my attention was that it was moving abnormally slow for an airplane, but on par with maybe a helicopter or blimp.

For a minute, I thought it could be an ultra light aircraft, but it was completely silent. Next I thought maybe the lights on the bottom of a blimp, but I have never witnessed a blimp in 15 years of living here. My best guess was that it was triangle shaped, but it was very hard to make out with city lights around.

This thing whatever it was made absolutely no noise. It kept slowing down and finally stopped and sat there for about 10 seconds before changing course. It was initially heading west but stopped and changed course to heading due north.

When it changed direction it went straight over head. As it flew over I tried to make out what it was. It had three white lights in a triangle formation with one blinking red light in the middle with one additional slightly dimmer blinking white light mixed in. The red light was slightly brighter than the rest of the lights.

It didn’t seem to be very far up at all, and it wasn’t very big that I could tell. Before it changed course, it was sort of near the moon I could make out sort of a roundish looking bottom to it, but only for a second.

As it moved northward, it picked up speed to what would be expected of an airplane. I ran into the house to get my video camera, but when I came out it was way far off.

I am quite used to planes flying over and see them often. I don’t however EVER see a plane slow down, stop, and then completely change course. It was very eerie watching that fly overhead with no noise at all!

The blinking red light seemed to indicate that it was manmade, but who knows? Whatever it was it gave me the creeps!

I’m a student here, and have good eyesight and wasn’t at all drunk or anything.

This was not the first weird thing I’ve seen here either. On Dec, 23 and 24 of 2009, I saw a ball of light out in the distance that looked like the spot light on the front of a helicopter, but got dimmer and after it travelled some distance faded into nothing. I saw this twice in two days!

I followed the second one for a block or so on foot just watching before it finally blinked out. I highly doubt it was "Chinese lanterns" as some might say. These were not flickering, and they were Venus bright at times and silent.

Two lights joined by a third to form a triangular shape hovering ESE of Chico, Washington.

Sighted while driving South on NW Chico Way at southern boundry of Chico, Washington, approximately 1/4 mile South of Hwy 3. Viewed from the side of the road looking ESE near King's West School and Chico Christian Childcare Center.

Observers - 1 adult aged 38 (former enlisted USAF, former Certified Apple Computer Hardware and Software technician), 3 teenagers ages 12, 15, and 16.

Size - Indeterminate Number of lights - Two lights offset then joined by a third.

Shape - Triangular Color - solid yellow white shifting to pale random flashing colors similar to a star seen through binoculars or telescope (ie: Polaris on a clear night) Movement - Hovering, then moving.

Description of sighting - Two yellow/white lights observed hovering offset in the sky East Northeast of NW Chico Way. After 30 seconds a third yellow/white light joined the first two, becoming the bottom left point of the triangle. All three lights hovered low in the sky not moving. Upon inspection all three lights began to shift pale colors similar to a star shifting color as seen through binoculars.

After one or two minutes of observation the bottom left light moved off in a Northeasterly direction dimming in strength until not visible.

After 30 or more seconds the original offset lights faded from view as if moving away in line of sight.

Sounds - No sounds in evidence.

Sky - Clear. No aircraft in evidence.

Bright- non blinking, then dissapearing, lights observed flying over Chico ca area 12/22-12/23 2009.

Location: 12/23/09 West Chico, Ca 95928 I've been going to bed early lately around 9:00 and waking up around 2 to 3 am. Early in the morning of 12/22/09, I went out to have a smoke at around 4:30 am to have a smoke. I looked up to the east side of town to see a light flying from north east to south west. It was bright enough for me to think it may be an airplane, but as I looked for any sign of blinking lights, I found none.

I was excited that finally I had seen something without the blinking lights so I looked on. I was careful to listed for noise of which I heard none. The light then sort of fizzled out and dissapeared. I have seen many satellites, and this was much brighter than that. Almost like a helicopter spot light from a distance with no noise. I really didn't think too much of it at the time.

The next morning 12/23/09, I went out at about 3:10 am to have another smoke. The previous incident was still on my mind as I walked out there. I was in the middle of thinking how unlikely it would be to see something again, when I looked up and there it was again! This time it was even a bit brighter than before. Same, no blinking lights, no sound. Flying from northeast to southwest, only this one had a more southerly direction.

I actually walked down the road about 500 ft to follow it's course. I could clearly see it shining through some trees before it moved out into the open. Very whitish light, similar to a spot light on a helicopter. NO NOISE! It appeared to stop and start a couple of times and then blinked out again! It could have been miles away for all I know, but based on the very bright clear light it was producing, it seemed much closer. I would estimate that it was no more than a miles distance at the very most.

I am aware there is an airport on the north side of town. I am also aware of what airplanes look and sound like, as well as helocopters. I lived in L.A. and saw police helicopters all the time. And there are no blimps or hot air balloons around here. This was making zero noise with NO blinking lights.

I even checked a satellite tracking site to see if there were any flyovers scheduled for that time and saw none. The international space station was somewhere over Hawaii at the time and flying from west to east. So I ruled that out.

Not sure what it was, but I already know they exist so I'm not freaked out. Just wanted to see if possibly anybody else has seen something in my area.

Witnessed unexplained multiple lights/orbs traveling east to west in clear daylight. First impression was that they might be balloons. However, a smaller group of two broke off from the others and traveled in the opposite direction at a rapid speed.

My neighbor was outdoors at the time, so I called out to him to confirm the sighting. He could not distinguish what the objects where, so he went to his garage and brought out binoculars. We both observed the objects through the binoculars. The objects appeared to be indistinguishable (reflected?) lights or orbs.

Unable to clearly make out forms we came to differing conclusions. He believed that what we observed must rationally be birds flying at high attitude. I could not come to a definitive conclusion, fore I have often in my 50 plus years observed birds in flight and never did they appear like this. I only know that I witnessed glowing lights or orbs in an asymmetrical formation. To me, they are unexplained.

At around 23:44 on October 30, 2007 my two friends and I witnessed a very bright light orange light south of Chico State University, Chico, California.

The bright light was pointed out to me by a friend of mine and we sat and watched it for about 3 minutes.

It then began to dim and eventually shot across the sky towards the east and then completely disappeared.

The only thing visible in the sky other than the light was a shooting star that past right by it.

We saw two bright lights traveling across the night sky at a high rate of speed in some type of formation.

At approximately 9:10 PM on Sunday August 20, 2007, my son Matthew and I were sitting outside on my dock talking and admiring the night sky.

Looking to the North West Matthew asked, “What or those two lights up there? Planes?” I looked to where he was pointing. It was to the two bottom stars of the big dipper. There were 2 bright lights traveling across the sky from west northwest to the east southeast. They were not flashing. They did not have any color like an aircraft light. These were single lights. The distance apart was approximately 3 inches at an arms length. They did not change direction nor did the space between them change from what I could see. They were traveling much faster then any aircraft that I have ever seen and the lights were much brighter. The total time they were in my view until out of view was no more then 90 seconds.

As they passed overhead I did not here any engine noise as from an aircraft. I told my son that it is probably the ISS or possibly the shuttle but today I looked up their orbit at the time and they were nowhere near the west coast of California last night.

We could not identify them as any kind of craft. Just two bright lights traveling across the night sky at a high rate of speed in some type of formation.

Plane chasing lights moving oddly

We saw a plane blinking and what looked like a satalitte folling behind it. After a second or two it started blinking green, after that appeared to go straight up then down while staying solid green. It started moving back up but changed to blinkning red. We lost sight of it after that. After 10-20 mins 2 of us saw another plane and a green light moving like a shooting star diaganoly down away from plane. All four of us saw the same thing witch kinda freaked us out. Was definatly something wierd.

Three circular objects moving fast and without sound in a formation pattern

My wife and I were leaving an event at the Chico fair gorunds and as we were walking to our car I noticed 3 small circular lights in the sky, they were heading north than made a sweeping turn to the west. They appeared to be larger than a star, somewhat flat and cicular, and there ligts were reddish in the center and more white around the edges. The lights did not blink or pulse and was more dual than bright. As they approached from the soiuth, they were moving quite fast then slowes down, the two objects in front seemed to be jocking in the sky then moved very close to one and other as the third in the rear followed. They moved very swiftly and made a big turn to the west then ascended upward until they disappeared. There was no noise and they moved like nothing I have ever seen.

Extraordinarily fast moving spherical object with pulsing light...

On the evening of Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at 9:11PM, in Chico, California, I was walking with my dog NE on Satinwood Way, just having turned N from Eaton Rd. I looked into the sky and there was a spherical object moving at an extraordinarily fast speed (faster than anything I have seen with my naked eye) on a diagonal down towards earth. I would say it was about 100 feet off of the ground.

There was a light pulsing from the object that was somewhat like a strobe light although the lights did not move like a strobe light. The light was pulsing and was very bright, almost incandescent. I only saw the object for approximately 4-5 seconds and then it disappeared as if the light was suddenly turned off. The object was seemingly gone and I did not see it again although I waited for a few minutes. My dig did not notice and there was no one else around on this semi dark cul de sac.

Clear day in Febuary,6 lights edge of the atmosphere drifting north to south , watched for several minutes.

I was finishing a job up working on this ladies rv when she mentioned these lights up in the sky very high near the edge of space. Anyway it was a beautifull sunnyday with clear skies. We saw 6 lights in what appeared to be in a V formation not moving just like floating very high.As we were talikng about the fact it couldn't be Geese flying south because of there elevation was way to high,and the fact that there where no blinking green or red lights, and the fact that no other aicraft in the sky at the time. A few minutes later a Piper cub flies by at about 5000 feet the first thing we notice on the plane are the blinking lights and these lights or spheres just seem to have just disappeared.

Shortly after midnight I witnessed one large triangle-shaped craft/object fly silently over Chico State University almost directly overhead from where I was standing. The object was visable as it flew through the low, blowing, broken overcast. Five orange lights were visable running around the circumference of the object, none were particularly bright. I would estimate its altitude was between 1,500-3000 feet, and its speed between 50-80 mph. (quite slow) The direction of travel was east.

man floating thru the air

This was not a craft. It was in human form. I was walking my dog down the sidewalk across the street from an apartment complex. Behind the apartment complex there were several tall pine trees. I happened to glance in the direction of the apartment complex as a moving object caught my eye.

It was a man above the trees just floating leisurly down toward the ground, as though he was wearing a parachute, except, to my amazement, there was no parachute above him! And he was still above the tall trees just slowly floating down! But as soon as he floated down lower he disappeared behind the tall trees and apartments. I ran as fast as I could to get to the area where he would have to be if he landed, but THERE WAS NO ONE THERE! AND, THERE WAS NO PARACHUTE EITHER, Yes, I did check for a parachute because I could not believe what I had seen! I was wondering how could this be...unless it was Jesus Christ, this is not supposed to happen!

Has anyone else ever reported anything like this before?

A constant golden colored bright light traversed the pre-dawn sky from west to east with no sound.

I was walking into my place of employment in the early hours of the morning. I am a cook at a local nursing home so my day starts very early. Entrance to the building for staff is at the side in the back but we park way out front so we have to walk about 30 yards along the side. I was about half way to the entrance and was looking up at what I asume to be Mars? I was facing south-southeast and Mars was at its apex in the night sky. I suddenly noticed an equally bright golden colored light approaching from the west(my right), crossed in front of Mars and headed due east with no changing of course.

The object appeared as a bright, golden colored light with a steady glow. Although the stars all had a slight flicker to them this morning, the object did not. I got the impression of it being at a high altitude. This all took place about an hour before sunrise. The object came out of the west as a bright object but as it traversed the sky it dimmed in brightness which I found odd as it was approaching the sunrise. I got the impression that this was a controlled atmospheric reentry. I have witnessed the shuttle reentry before in the past and this reminded me of it. This is not the first time I have seen this, I have witnessed this event about 8 times over the past 10 years and the discription is always the same including the directions. Also I have never noticed any sound associated with these events.

I am an ex-USAF serviceman that is an avid aircraft enthusiast and am well acquainted with most aircraft both civilian and military.

A firey ball of light descending from left to right and high to low in front of us changed colors from white, to yellow to green.

My wife and I were traveling in our car in a north by northeast direction on Palmetto Ave. in central Chico at 8:22 PM PST (per the clock in the car). In a very surprising instant we both observed what appeared to be an astrological event in the eastern sky. A large, bright object that seemed to to me to be a fireball was descending rapidly from left to right starting at about "12 o'clock" and disappearing at about "5 o'clock" in our field of vision. The object basically followed a very slightly curved path approximately 30-40 degrees from a perpendicular line drawn from the horizon directly in front of us.

The size of the object appeared 1/2-2/3 the size of the full moon overhead. It changed color while in view, from bright white to firey yellow to a brilliant iridescent blue/green. My first thought was that it was a large shooting star or meteor, but then I was shocked to see it change it's size (it become larger) and color. About half way through its descent it begin projecting a tapering trail as its color changed to bright yellow, almost as if there had been an explosion and acceleration in speed. The trail remained yellow as the object then took on a beautiful greenish-blue color just before it disappeared from view. It was not clear whether the object disappeared over the horizon or simply self-extinguished.

I estimate the entire elapsed time of viewing was less than five seconds.

I saw a bright blue/green fireball in the East/Northeast sky travel from left upper corner to the lower right horizon.

I was traveling home for the evening with my husband down a road less than a half mile from my house that runs East/West in Chico. It is a road that we travel frequently, if not daily, morning and night. We were traveling approximately 20-25 mph in a Toyota Rav4. While looking ahead (East) down the road and into the sky visible through the trees along the roadway, I saw a large ball of light appear in the upper left of my field of vision. The ball was larger than I have ever seen in the sky. I would estimate it to be approximately 1/2 - 2/3 the size of the full moon. My husband and I had just 5 minutes earlier been admiring the full moon and the moisture ring around it.

As I watched the ball with a tail travel from the left of my field of vision to the right it appeared to fall or descend to the right lower corner of the field (approx. a 60 degree angle). As the ball fell it appeared to change in color starting as a dark color (green/blue)with a small falling star like tail to mid frame/center adding a bright yellow back end/tail and a lighter blue/green body, and disappearing with much these same colors.

I was so astonished by what I saw, I looked down at the clock in the car right then to note the specific time; 20:22.

My husband and I then began to talk about what we saw, and who or if we should report the information to. I wish I knew what it was and where if at all it landed.

Driving home in the evening headed east, I looked north out the van window and saw what apeered to be a rocket entering the atmosphere. I called to my wife to look and we looked at this shooting streek of light for a good 6 seconds. I proceeded to head to the Moutain terrain where it would be lost out of sight behind the moutains and clouds. I in a frantic state turn the radio to a news station in expectation of the begining of an attack from N. korea or somthing of this nature. To my suprise got nothing. When I got home called the police to report it, I was 1 of 2 in 20 mins. to report. I call the local news tv station and again was only 1 of 2. Thanks so much for the on going updates. I spent some time since our submission visiting the Web site to familiarize myself with it. You have a very interesting and tremendously challenging job! I have a whole new awareness and appreciation of the job sorting out UFO's etc. It definitely requires a certain personality, intelligence and integrity.

Our experience has definitely changed our life. I always thought it was other people who saw those types of things (i.e. comets and things flying in the sky). It felt really good to know that there are people that we could call after having that kind of experience. Huge slow flying triangular object blocking out sky during meteor shower on california's I-5 outside chico.

I stopped to watch meteor shower at a rest stop on I-5 just outside of chico california. When I went between two big trucks to block out some bothersome lights I saw out of the corner of my eye what looked at first like several meteors traveling together. When I looked in that direction I did not see any meteors. As I started to look in another direction I noticed something moving across the sky blocking out the stars. That was how I determined the shape. It was triangular, very large, moving slowly in an easterly direction. There were no lights and no noise. It was hard to judge the size of the object but I estimate that if it was flying low (as in 2 or 3 thousand feet it would have been the size of at least a football field. It disapeared behind the truck trailer and I was unable to find it again when I moved around to the other side of the truck.

I know this may seem strange, but it isn't a joke. I was walking my dog south down Notre Dame Blvd. when I happened to look to my left. Across the street there was a row of two story aprtment dwellings. I saw a man come floating down thru the air like when someone would if he was attached to a parachute. The only thing was--there was no parachute above him! I hurried to the rear of the apartment complex and there was no sign of a man or a parachute--this was like less than a minute and a half later! It would have taken longer than that for him to gather up his 'chute if he had one!

My girlfriend and I were laying out watching the stars. We had seen a couple of shooting stars and airplanes pass by. This though I have never seen before. An object resembling a very large star or planet moving from the north into view.This object moving at a high speed then dims itself, or drastically changes elevation. From my viewpoint these are the only explanations I have come up with. This object looked like it became smaller. The funny thing was that this object was moving more into view. Different than looking at something above you only to see it dim into the horizon. This dimmed from the horizon as it moved overhead. I am not aware of any craft that could move so quickly.

small silver object, low flying in very strait line emitting what looked to be a thick bright billowy contrail the shape and length of a comet tai ended at a point and abruptly, no dispersion of smoke.

In car returning home the last 2 blocks, up in the sky what looked to be at the altitude of a small plane, but I could not make out the object only twice in its flight did I glimpse, the color silver. What was so odd was the tail of what seemed to be a contrail from the object immediately from the back end that was much thicker than the object itself and extended about 15 lengths of the object into a point, as though it were the tail of a comet. The contrail was thick and solid, but billowy looking and was very illuminated or bright, but it did appear like smoke that was coming from the object. It did not trail off in a long dispersed fashion, like it does from high flying aircraft that leave contrails across the sky. This stuff coming out of this thing was very contained in its appearance. The object traveled very slow almost 4 min in my vision while I parked the car in the drive went in the house, grabbed the phone came back outside and called my husband at work and proceeded to describe what I was seeing to him. It traveled as though I were seeing it from the side view but as it moved farther away it was not exactly perpendicular to me. The path was more like southwest to northeast. (If I have my bearings, correct) Clear sky and no other aircraft in the area I will send drawing by fax. ((Name deleted))

a fast moving object appeared in the raod while I was driving, blue and white lights, I stopped and watched, the object stopped and hovered, then took off in a flash

It was a flat shapped object, lights on each end, alternating white and blue. I noticed it because of how fast it appeared to be moving. I stopped to see what it was. In a matter of seconds the object stopped and hovered in front of me, I was excited and scared, and went to turn my car around and get the ..... out of there. As I started to move my car the object flashed and disapeared to the right. It moved at a speed that was just a flash, not even estimatable.

Four glowing objects slowly moving across the night sky, leaving a short trail.

At approximately 9:30pm on September 1, 1999, my girlfriend and I walked outside to go for a walk. Immediately, we both spotted four objects in the sky. The "head" of the objects were glowing, unsure of the color but I remember bluish/green and my girlfriend recalls at least one turning a reddish color. The objects seemed to be at a low altitude, but I'm not sure because I can't confirm how large the objects were. (MUCH bigger than a star....maybe 1/8 to 1/10 the size of a full moon? I couldn't hear any sound, but the objects moved very slowly. They were midway across the sky when we first observed them, and they remained visible for about 20 seconds before passing out of our line of sight. The first three objects were close together, almost in a formation, while the fourth was slightly behind and off center. They left a short smoky trail behind them, easily visible in the dark night sky. We've both seen many meteors, and this didn't conform with anything we've seen befor! e. Our first reaction was, "What is that?" The slow speed seemed to rule out a meteor or "shooting star" as did the strange color and the misty trail behind them. One final note, all the objects seemed to be travelling at the same rate of speed.

A bright, steady light traversed the sky over my area from SSW to ENE. It appeared to be at great altitude be cause the light seemed to be entirely reflected light. It was visible for approximately 2 minutes.

I am a disabled veteran who served in the United States Air Force for 8 years. I have been an avid aircraft enthusiast since a small boy. I am 42 years old. On the night of this sighting, I was out closing up my workshop for the night. It was very clear out with no moon or clouds. I was facing south while walking into the house. I always like to look at the stars and happened to notice a bright one straight up to the south. It was gold in color with the same brightness as Venus after sunset. It was then that I notice that it was moving to the east-northeast at a rapid speed. The light was constant and bright, no flicker. As it traversed across my fied of vision it went behind the top floor of my home. I ran around to the front yard and continued to follow its path across the sky. By now it was to the east of me and it suddenly gave off a bright flash of reflected light as from a mirror. It then started to decrease in brightness as it disappeared over the Sierra Nevada Mountains. I note that the light remained steady as I viewed it from its aft end. No afterburners, or other lights were seen. I have seen the same kind of light twice before only traveling from due west to due east in the predawn hours.

This is amplifying information to the Call in of an observation from Paradise, Calif yesterday. The airport at Chico is used for pratice approaches by aircraft from Beale AFB for the U-2 and SRC71. The Arrora replacement for the SRC71 is currently being hangered at Beale for short periods of time, in training situations.

This is not meant to downgrade the observation of the Lady from Paradise, but I think it is important to note that Beale has a ready crew of ground personnel and equipment for Chico and the runway is capable of taking large aircraft. I have 26 years of experience in the distant early warning system, tower and radar approach controll and carrier approach control and have observed UFO activity as early as 1957 over the North Atlantic and reported same to NORAD by single sideband direct communications. I have observed many "large military" aircraft on pratice approach to Chico since 1979 and am aware that it is a designated dispersal point for certain types during national emergency situations. There are old military silo launch sites in the Chico vicinity and some may still be active. Happy hunting from one who knows first hand that you are not on a wild goose chase.

I was surprised to noticed a large black triangular-shaped-wingless object cross the road directly in front of me flying about twenty feet from the ground.

I was travling northbound on Hwy 99. The road curved ahead of me and it was at this moment when I noticed what I thought to be a falling star. I glanced at this object briefly and then turned my attention back on the road. Out of curiosity, I looked back to where I first noticed the object and did a doubletake when I noticed that it was still their. Not only was it still their, but it appeared to be even closer than before, and I was given the impression that it was travling at an enourmous volacity. As I observed this object with a keen interest, I noticed a long blue contrail behind it. This contrail appeared similar That of NASA's proposed Ion propolsion system, exept for one thing; their now appeard to be what resembled orange fireballs shooting out the back of this object, and through the contrail. This was very unsettling because I thought I was witnessing an airborne tragedy, A plane on fire, plummeting to the ground. Indeed this object appeared to be loosing altitude with great abandon, and I was surprised once more to see the object bank hard and change directions approximately 180º's changing from a South-easterly direction to more of a North-westwardly direction. The object's speed increased greatly after It had modified its waypoints. I past an orchard and momentarily lost site of this object. I thought that was the last that I would see of this object, until it the road directly ahead of me flying about twenty feet from the ground. The triangular object was now flying very slow, and its distinct triangular form was highlighted by small red lights along what appeared to be the sides of the object. These small red lights were alligned in rows along two opposite sides of the object. Their were three small bright white lights, one on each corner of the object. In the center of the object was a large red glowing light about three feet in diameter, not typical of any aircraft I know of. It crossed the highway heading twords an open residential area with many houses. I crossed over a bridge and tur! ned off of the highway onto a small sidestreet. My investigative nature becconed me to fallow this object, which is exactly what happened. I was driving along the small sidestreet, and the object was positioned completely parellel to me. I clocked it with my speedometer, it was travling at approximately 25 MPH. I rolled down my window to observe the sound which I was sure an object of this proportion (about 60 feet long) would make flying at such a low altitude. I was stunned as I concluded that this object made absolutely no sound. It did not rumble or make any vibrations. I could not hear the wind whistling through its wings, because it did not have any. I lost site of the object as it again changed course and ducked below the tree line. With the information which I was able to acertain from this encounter, I can conclude that what I observed was not an airplane. It was certainly an object, It was flying, and I failed to identify it with any object which I am familiar with. It is with sound mind and being, that I certify everything stated above as truth, and the facts stated heriegn reflect the best of my knowledge and recolection of this encounter.

Silent, dark triangle shaped UFO sighting

I was standing on my apartments balcony, drinking some cold tea as it was a pretty hot night that night. My apartment was situated very near the central part of the Chico, a well lit, bustling with nightlife, college town, suburban atmosphere city in Northern California. Suddenly from behind my apartment or coming from the opposite direction from where I was looking out, a massive, triangular shaped object flew over my apartment, moving towards the central part of the city. What scared me almost as much as it's unnatural appearance, was the fact that it didn't make even the slightest amount of noise. There were no lights on it that I could see in the short amount of time it was visible to me, and I believe it was black in color, although I could be wrong as it was quite a dark night. The funny part of this story, would be that I'm pretty much a non-believer in everything, but my boyfriend, who was in the living room when this occurred, believes in UFOs, aliens, and all of that kinda supernatural stuff. It was with that, that I entered the living room, told him what I had seen, only to find that he didn't believe me! Am I the only one whom has seen such a craft?

large solid spherical, bright emerald green with yellow fiery tail, coming across sky at a slow downward angle. No impact felt or heard. it was expected.

Husband and I were by window when large fiery emerald green type globe with fiery yellow tail started to descend gradually across sky. It appeared to be close and though it went behind trees, we expected to hear or feel impact or have a fire due to the dryness of our area and the fieryness of the object. Neither hearing or feeling an impact occurred.

When I phoned the local sheriffs dept. to tell them there may be a fire in the vicinity due to the object colliding in the outskirts, they referred me to call NUFORC.

I then proceeded to call that #. Later I sent report to both NUFORC and Mufon and contacted the local paper. All items mentioned were saved in my files and when I spoke to NUFORC recently it was suggested if I still had these items to resubmit my sighting on this net site and send in articles, which I have done on 9/27/99.

Three silver/grey triangle crafts, at very high altitude, no sound, no lights. Chico Ca. 1992/93

I was attending Chico State University in 1992/93. I was a Junior living on campus in Shasta Hall. I had just arrived at a party one cold night and did not really know many people there. I went outside to the backyard where I stood on a wooden deck. As I was looking up to the very clear, cold, and starlit sky; I saw a faint object out of the corner of my vision. As I looked up and towards my left I saw 3 grey/silver triangle objects exact in size flying in a line, one in front of the other. These objects had no sound, and no lights. They seemed to be in exact distance from each other.They also appeared to be very high in altitude My sighting lasted about 20 seconds before the crafts moved across the sky and then out of sight, behind a large oak tree. Something very strange happend as I was viewing these objects. Everything seemed to go silent as I watched them fly over me. As I remember everything went silent as I viewed them. After they moved out of sight all the party noise(music, laughing, people talking) returned in an instant. I was astonished! No one else had witnessed what I just saw. I felt amazed, confused and a little scared. I had never seen anything like this in my entire life. Later that night as I walked home to my dorm I could not stop thinking about what I saw that night. When I got to my dorm, I went to my friend's room, woke her, and told her what I had witnessed. Since that night I have only told a few people about my expierience until now. I will remember that night for the rest of my life. I often still think about what I saw that night, 10 years ago. I have many questions, about this unique moment, I just don't know who has the real answeres.

Fully visible flying saucer

Myself and my two cousins were out in front of our Grandmothers playing with remote controlled cars. We for some reason looked up to the night sky to see a disc shaped craft approximately 100 to 200 feet in length and maybe 50 feet in height. The craft was very low in the sky maybe fifty feet taller then your average telephone pole and It had several different colored lights circling the craft and several black "windows" around the saucer. The craft was a light grayish blue color that to this day I have never seen on any aircraft. It passed over our grandmothers house making no sound at all. We witnessed it in the front for about one minute moving very, very slowly as if it was studying us. We then ran through the house to the back yard and the saucer was gone. I spent four years in the United States Marine Corps working in and around aircraft from several branches of the military. I have never seen an aircraft that matches the color or metal con! struction to this aircraft. The saucer appeared to be one smoothly constructed craft something that I have never seen since. I have seen other things in the sky since then and have heard numerous stories from around this area, even a couple of abduction stories, and was wondering what information if any you guys had on this area.

Summary : A huge solid black mass, silently glided directly over us from the NNE going SSW then did a perfect 90 degree turn directly over us and went due E. No lights, no sound, just a monstrous huge black vehicle. My impression was it was like a rectangle. We only new it was there because it was blocking out the stars (there were no clouds that night), that is what drew our attention to it, blocking out a large section of the sky and it's movement. I have no idea how high it might have been although it was at least above 3500 feet. Myself and my associates were all standing together talking when one of the guys said what is that coming from the "North?" We all looked and then could make it out, it was awsome. We were all "on duty police officers" taking a break in our favorite spot where the ambient lights of the city didn't block the stars. The north valley is known for it's clear nights and fantastic views of the night sky. If we hadn't been taking that break and watching the sky while we talked we would never have seen this object. And no, I have not said anything before this time. We all looked at each other and basically said "what the hell was that thing!"

We were all Chico or Butte County Deputies at the time who often worked the same areas of the county/city together. This location we were standing in was on a sight rise or hill on the SE side of town, leading up to the foothills of the Sierras. It was away from public view where we could park four or five police cars, drink some coffee and relax for a few minutes without scrutiny or criticism from passing motorists; and the sky gazing was superb from that location. We were all veteran cops as well as military veterans. I was a combat air-defense control officer in the military and have somewhat of a good idea of what anything man made can accomplish in the air. This was not anything that we could possibly have built. I don't know why I thought it was a rectangle, but I just had that feeling about it. Whatever shape it was, it was huge!

A large slow moving craft was observed, first at a distance as a bright light, then passing directly overhead.

Early in the summer of 1979, a friend and myself had just entered Hwy 70 from a back road and at the Chico cut-off. We noticed a bright light in the distance - I don't remember the color - moving oddly in some fashion. I am not sure what actually caught our attention. Perhaps the object was moving too slowly or in an unusual flight path. In any case we wondered what it was and pulled over to watch for a minute. The second we got out of the truck, the thing changed direction and came directly for us. It moved slowly, silently and steadily until it passed directly over our heads. Since we had no perspective for distance against the night sky, I cannot estimate the size or altitude. It appeared to be as large as 747 and flying at say 1000 feet. I clearly remember that it looked to be the shape of an eye with a hole in the middle where the iris would be. I can remember seeing stars right through the middle of the object. I clearly remember the thing looking to be diamond or eye shaped, however, with so many reports of wishbone or chevron shaped objects, I must admit that my own eye/brain may have filled in detail where no structure existed. No sound could be heard and it continued to move slowly into the SW until disappering. It appeared to be black and I think some lights could be seen...but not ordinary aircraft lights. I guess that it had a very bright light shining forward but I am not sure which lights had actually caught our attention. I am quite convinced that I saw an experimental [stealth] blimp or otherwise operating out of nearby Beale AFB. Maybe it was a stealth blimp piloted by aliens (-:

in 1974, I saw a white triangular object moveing low and slow over orchards and fields north of chico CA

At approx. 3:00AM walking home throu a newly planted almond orchard.Looking north toward the airport I saw what I took to be the red and blue wing lights of an airplane a few miles away,after a min. I saw it was much closer,about 300 yards realizeing the lights were on either side of a cockpit.The object was comming straight toward me,about 30ft.above the ground,moving about 15 m.p.h.,with a very quiet wiring sound which only became audible when nearly overhead.Its shape was triangular like the letter A if it were wider at the bottom ,edges rounded , only takeing the circumference,lowering the cross stroke,widen the leggs,It was white and smooth,it crossed Nord hwy. going S. turned W.went a few miles turned N.diagonally up until it was too dim to see.Wheather was clear,crisp with little light polution.
