This light in the night sky was slightly larger than the stars but much more brilliant, constantly flashing multiple colors.

My wife and I witnessed the bright light from my house shortly after 10:00 pm. It could easily be mistaken as a star but it caught our eye because it was a much brighter white and seemed to manifest colors like looking at a diamond from afar. When viewing it through my 10x50 field glasses the flashing colors were much more brilliant and we were certain this was not a star.

I continued to watch it with amazement for approximately 30 minutes. I checked on it some time later and it was still there. Then, shortly after midnight I looked at the sky again and it was not there anymore.

Sitting on a bench at the moss beach distillery at halfmoon bay california. Around 6:50 pm . My girlfriend noticed a large rectangular shape tha appeared out of nowhere moving very fast. I was amazed and took a photo. I didn’t think I captured it but after looking at the picture I did get it on film. Also looking at the picture I noticed there is another shape I caught below it in the right. And thst appears to be a round light and in the center the circle is divided with light like you cut 8 pieces of pie. I have both objects in two pictures

I saw two high-altitude soft cool light glows, one following the other which is exactly what I saw on the 9th of September of this year

I am a little freaked out because it is actually the third time I have seen this. The first time I saw this was on Sept. 9, 2022 and reported it to this website. The second time I saw it was just a single fast moving light glow at 10:10 moving it the same trajectory and in the same area of the sky. So I started watching when I could and when the sky was clear around the same time of night. And just like the night of the 9th, tonight at exactly 10:07 I saw an identical pair of lights that moved in exactly the same way. There were two cool-colored soft glows traveling from the southeast to the northwest parallel to the coastline. They travelled one behind the other at a high altitude and lasted about 3 seconds and then faded away. They covered approximately 30 degrees of view during their travel and were separated from each other by about 5 degrees. They were moving far faster than a satellite and they didn't look like meteorites. I am going to continue my routine of watching around 10:00 to see if the pattern continues and I encourage others to do the same.

I saw two high-altitude soft cool light glows, one following the other which looked different than the Perseid meteors.

While I was looking for meteors of the Perseid meteor shower on August 15, 2022, at approximately 10:00 at night, I saw two cool-colored soft glows traveling from the southeast to the northwest parallel to the coastline. They travelled one behind the other at a high altitude and lasted about 3 seconds and then faded away. They covered approximately 30 degrees of view during their travel and were separated from each other by about 5 degrees. They looked different than the meteors I saw during that time. Unlike the two soft glows, the meteors were warm in color, sharp in outline and brighter.

UFO hovers over a house and shoots out to the sky in epic show

My husband and I were sitting in our balcony overlooking our neighbor’s roof and in the distance, a bright light, like a spotlight, just appeared out of nowhere. It hovered for a few minutes while we watched wondering what it was. We got our iPhone to start recording to see if we could get a closer look then it moved and shot up so far up in the sky by the stars and hovered. Then shot across the sky over our home.

Multiple satellite-looking lights travelling in multiple single file formation

I saw numerous what looked like satellites moving at satellite speed moving in a straight line from the south west to the north east. There were first two moving in the same path only a few seconds apart. Then a little further north were many more some of which appeared to be following the same path and equidistant from each other. At one point there were at least four of them equidistant following each other visible at the same time.

Sky suddenly turned Green for about 12 seconds accompanied by (blink of the eye) power outage.

I CAN SEE PILLAR POINT AIR FORCE BASE FROM MY LIVING ROOM WINDOW. AT APPROXIMATELY :45 AM ON FRIDAY NIGHT DEC. 6, 2019 ( JUST TURNED SATURDAY MORNING DEC. 7, 2019) THE SKY OVER PILLAR POINT AIR FORCE BASE LITE UP GREEN (SIMILAR TO THE COLOR OF THE NORTHER LIGHTS IN ALASKA). I RAN TO THE WINDOW TO LOOK AT THE SKY AT WHICH TIME I BELIEVE THAT THERE WAS A SUDDEN VERY SHORT ( BLINK OF THE EYE) POWER OUTAGE. I HAVE DIRECT TV AND THE SERVICE WENT INTO RESTART MODE.

I was too stunned to think in time to take a picture, but would like more information about what kind of activity could create such an event

On Sunday, August 18th, I was driving on Hwy 92 at around 9pm, PDT, from Half Moon Bay heading west toward San Mateo, CA. As I drove through the mountainous part of the highway, where there are no structures, I noticed a line of big lights of different colors hovering over the top of the mountains.

At first I thought it might be a house, but the lights were too big, and at some point I would've passed the house. Yet, as I kept driving the lights were still hovering over this mountainous peak.

Once I started to make my descent on the road, I could no longer see the peak of the mountain and lost sight of the lights. I saw them for about 5-10 minutes of driving as I was driving up the road and the peak of the mountains/hills were visible from the highway.

It does seem to reflect sunlight and seems to be metalic. No lights were seen.

The craft was seen at Half Moon Bay, CA. The craft is located above and just left of the rock in the ocean. You must have the ability to zoom in.

In my opinion it is something beyond what you can expect to see in our skies.

Large very bright round 'star' with several smaller moving 'stars' going to & from

I NEVER wake up at 4:15 in the morning, but this morning I did.

Sitting at my kitchen table, I looked out the window and saw this phenomenal bright, (what at first I thought was a plane coming into SFO, but they don’t land from the East.) It was intensely bright and had several other ‘stars’ around it that kept moving around the area of the large ‘star’.

In going through the pictures I took on my cell phone, (through my kitchen window with screen,) The first pictures, after brighten them, came out looking like an alien.

Of the 3 videos I took, only one shows anything - but nothing like I saw.

After the ‘alien looking pictures came the other pictures I took through my kitchen and then front room which has no screen.

It seems as though once I was filming or taking pictures, a dark cloud would cover them… Really friggen weird, and I have seen UFO’s before - but not in a long time.

This all was about 4:30 a.m. June 10, 2017

Bright light in sky, moving and hovering, took off fast.

At around 10 am, in half Moon Bay, CA, at Ocean View Park, our 6 year old daughter spotted this small bright light in the sky. It was a sphere and appeared to be very high up, due to its small size.

It was moving left and right quickly, at about one second intervals, back and forth. Then it stopped moving, and remained stationary for a few minutes.

Then it started moving slowly in a southern direction, paused a few times, continued in a southern direction slowly for several minutes in this manner.

Suddenly, it took off at a rapid pace in the southern direction.

The object was inaudible because it was very high up, too far away to hear any sound. The light was very bright for the size of the object, appeared to be self illuminated.

This is the second one of these objects we've seen. Last one was seen less than a month ago, on June 30, 2016. That event was observed with a telescope. The object, when focused through the telescope lens, was a definite perfect sphere, silver in color, with definite lights.

I was not aware of the object while shooting or afterward until recently. When I saw it, I was mystified. Object is moving from left to right, south to north, against the wind. Wind verified with wave action. As for appearance of object, zoomed large (am sending unedited images), the object seems to have multiple colors, graphic lines, perhaps print.

7-24-10 Yellow-orange bright lit circular object moving vertical and horizontal seen in Half Moon Bay CA.

Circular yellow-orange bright light object moved horizontal to the north, then moved what appeared to be straight up, disappeared into gray clouds for a few seconds, moved straight down, lights were out and the object was now black. Black circular object moved east, horizontal, and appeared to move down toward the hills or behind the hills.

There were several people including myself at Venice Beach camp ground in Half Moon Bay, CA that witnesed the event.

Orange lights and triangles over field south of Half Moon Bay.

On the day of this incident, a friend and I went to explore a field and empty reservoir in this field. We wanted to come back to it that night, and enjoy the moon and conversation away from town life. We came back with another person that night. We walked to the end of the field for no reason in particular, and noticed 2 orange lights over the trees. They were moving quite slow, sometimes not moving at all. They appeared small, as if they were planes. They would head east away from the ocean. They would circle around and disappear behind the hills. They usually appeared in twos, separated by quite a distance. They would always appear from behind hills or trees. They sometimes appeared from nothingness. They would sometimes turn off the lights, and then appear with light configuration like jet planes. They had up to 7 lights, most commonly 2 headlights with “wing” lights and up to 3 lights in the back. But they were too low and too fast and silent, and were not jet planes. At times we could see up to 6 in the air. We called our friend and he came with his girlfriend. We watched the triangle and squares and diamond crafts fly around, like bees. They would often change path, and were just observing. It seemed that other crafts would appear in the paths of other crafts. We had a flashlight, and when I flashed patterns on the field one turned its headlight toward us and changed course to fly directly above us. They were triangular in shape when we saw them from below. From the sides, they appeared oblong and very large. They appeared very bright, and I do not think jets or prop planes have these bright of headlights. Our observations were mildly disturbing, and 4 of us were convinced they were UFO’s, but the only girl with us was still skeptical. This was about to change. Over a hedgerow cypress forest, 2 lights, dime sized to us only 1,500 feet away, hovered for maybe 2 minutes. There was a faint glowing aura in the trees below. They moved slowly around, and we could see one turn away and he! ad for t he ocean. The other continued closer to us, within 600 feet, following a drainage ditch it seemed like. It hovered to the highway, and looked at the traffic from about 700 feet up. It then went over the hills and disappeared. We could see it with binoculars, and it had a bright halogen like head light, and a green light on the back with a red light above it. On the back were 2 white lights, with a red light underneath each one. It looked like an observer. The red light blinked very faintly. After this one had left, we didn’t see anymore that night. We left to pick up some food.

8 pale bluish spheres seen hovering just above the water off Half-Moon Bay. 2 disappeared into the water.

Friday, 16 February, 2007, at 02:15 A.M., returning to San Francisco from a cruise of the Mexican Riviera on the Dawn Princess. We were located off the California coast, cruising at a fast speed (20-22 knots, the Captain had said that night), and reached the Golden Gate at 06:00 that morning.

I was coughing up a storm at ~2 A.M., and my husband went to find a hot lemonade. I was awake anyway, so I pulled back the curtains and stood in the window to watch the ship’s churning water – mesmerizing! After about 5 minutes, three softly glowing objects came into view – three uniform, nearly spherical objects, evenly spaced in a line parallel to the ship’s hull and hovering just above the water surface. Based on the appearance of dolphins from the window, and of people seen standing on piers, I’d say that these spheres were somewhat larger – maybe 12-15’ high. Perfectly smooth, and with a pale bluish-white glow. They appeared to stay in one place while the ship moved past them. They were hovering, but didn’t disturb the water below them. Just as they went out of my sight, the left one (toward the bow) splashed down into the water and disappeared.

Of course I hadn’t thought to tear myself away from the window to get the cell phone or camera (both in the safe, and of doubtful use through a window at night…). And, of course, three more glowing spheres, hovering in a straight line along the edge of the wake, came past the window ~2 minutes later! ~4-5 minutes after that, two more spheres were seen, but farther away from the ship. The first and second groups had been located just where the ship’s wake or foam line ends. The last group was about twice as far away. The “bow-ward” of these last two also dropped down into the water and disappeared. I was still standing at the window, in amazement, when my husband came back with lemon tea. I told him about the spheres, and we watched for awhile, but no more sightings.

70+ chevron-shaped aircraft, approx. 40,000`, flying from northeast to southwest over Half Moon Bay, CA, like someone opened up at box and they all escaped out of it. No sound. No contrails or chemtrails. All white. Several "stalled" or "stopped", then surged forward at a greater velocity than the others. A commercial jet airliner flew approx. 20,000 ft. beneath them, making usual noise. Asked others on the beach to look at them...they didn't want to be bothered.

I pretty well covered it above.

My room lit up a brillant orange on three occasions.

I have more of a question than an actual sighting. Has this happened to anybody else?While renting a town home in Half Moon Bay California I was awakened at least three times from my sleep because my room began to light up a brillant Orange color. I would open my eyes and see that the color was getting brighter. I would sit up and look around and then the brillant orange color would start to dim and then fade out altogether. On two occasions I told myself I must be dreaming and went back to sleep. On the third I actually got up and looked out the window because this time the lightrays coming from outside the window into my room seemed to move from my bedroom ceiling down to the floor as if an object outside the window were rising up and over the building yet I heard no sound. By the time I got to the window and looked outside I saw nothing. Each time the lights peeked (to there brightest) after about four seconds and then began to fade and were totally gone about four seconds later.

Bright starlike object near hovered horizon than ascended very fast.

I was invited by a friend to stay at a beach house about seven miles south of Half Moon Bay, California, early summer 1975. It was my first trip to california from the East Coast and I enjoyed watching the evening sunsets. The coast had been foggy for a couple of nights so on this particular night i sat on the beach with field glasses enjoying the ocean and approaching sunset. As the sun began to set i noticed a bright starlike object hovering near the horizon close to where the sun was setting. I took a look through the field glasses and noticed that the object seemed to be flikering much like a star but the center was dark. The object hovered for a time than suddenly began to ascend very fast. In short time it was out of view. The atmosphere seemed electric. I looked around to see if any one was on the beach with but i was alone. To this day i have no idea what i observed.

3 blips on a military radar screen flew off the radar screen when military aircraft approached them.

Three objects were seen as blips on a Radar screen. Fighter planes were scrambled from a military base to intercept the blips on the radar screen. When the fighter planes were within about a half a mile of the three objects...they shot off of the radar screen..estimating a speed of 50 miles in about a second.
