Near VFSB i saw a white light appear and as it was traveling south along the coast and it didnt travel in any conventional manner

I was refilling my horse's waters and i looked up to see a massive shooting star come in out of nowhere so i decided to keep watching to see if there was a meteor shower and about 10 seconds later an incredibly bright white light blinked into sight and was hovering momentarily until it started to travel down the coastline in an unconventional manner there were no straight movements it looked as if it was wiggling while traveling. there was no sound, heat signature, or any navigation lights from planes. There was nothing as bright or large in the sky, the object appeared to be one but almost looked like it turned into 3 connected orbs of light that kind of pulsated, as the object got further away it slightly dimmed white, pulsed deep dimmer orange and disappeared. I see rocket launches all the time and I was raised by scientists so I have a pretty good time differentiating between man made and something beyond our current tech

6 orange glowing balls in the sky

My friend and I were in my backyard. She went out to her car and yelled that there was something in the sky. I looked up and there was what looked like a bright orange ball in the sky. She yelled " there is another one" then another and another. Approx 45 seconds later I looked up and two more were coming. It appeared they were following each other. All going in a straight line. It was getting cloudy and they disappeared in the clouds. They appeared to be coming from the Southwest side of town going East.

Me and my girlfriend saw a bright circle in the sky and it disappeared super fast.

Me and my girlfriend saw a circle flying in the sky that was really bright and reflective and it disappeared as fast as we saw it. We could tell it wasn’t a plane or drone by how it was flying and just how bright it was . It was extremely reflective like a mirror and then it vanished.

Strange lights formation disappearing in mid air over lompoc Ca near Airforce base.

On May 18th 2021 I was driving back home from work on HW1 towards Lompoc. I was about a mile from entering the city when I look up to my right into the horizon it was a clear nigth and could see what it appear as a long tail of falling debrie. I could not hear any sound of any kind. At first I thought I was witnessing either a meteorite or space debrie falling. I made a recording of it and mentioned in it that perhaps this was from the Chinese satelite expected to fall. (I did not know that this event had already occurred days earlier). So as I got closer to town I lost the sitting with the city lights now glowing so I decided to make a turn towards the crop fields were is dark to have a better view of the sitting. To my surprise once I stopped on the side of the road and look up; there was a string oof white and orange round lights probably about 12 or more all lined up moving east I began video with my cellphone. I was able to capture some of the lights i! n the distance. Then I noticed that at particular point in an open space on the horizon the lights were entering and disappearing one by one till they were gone this must have last for about 30 seconds. I noticed that as the lights were entering this wormhole or what it ever it was, their shape changed from round to straight like a cigar. Very strange never have I seen anything like this except in the movies but after experiencing this first hand I have to admit there is definitely evidence of something outthere that needs closer examination.

During the rocket launch conducted at Vandenberg AFB--located in California, my sister and her boyfriend reported a few mysterious lights were observed flying around.

very bright large object turning, slowing and climbing at high speed

I was standing outside facing northwest looking at the sky when I noticed a very bright object coming into my right lone of site. Thought it a aircraft at first, then maybe Jupiter. I could see jupiter above and behind me so this was not Jupiter. I then watched the object and saw itno navigation lights just big as Jupiter and much brighter. Object was moving slowly and I checked 2 make sure it was moving.

Object then appeared to make a sweeping left turn and then another back on prior course. Object then began 2 climb and as it climbed I could see other aircraft beneath it in the distance. I watched it till it disappeared. It was so bright I could see it out a very long way and guess it was visible for at least ten minutes. Visibility was clear with some clouds far to the north east.

huge bright orange sphere appeared and dissapeared

My Wife and I were walking the dog about 20:00hrs on Sunday 10 Jan 2010, when I spotted a very large orange glowing ball with a tail coming from it, I pointed look to her and she saw it also. What was weird about it was very large and was headed in up direction and seem to disappear in the atmosphere. Lasted about 3 to 6 Seconds. I was mad because, I just plugged in my cell phone to charge it @ home, and I usually have it with me. I consider myself an amateur astronomer, I never seen a meteor go in the up direction. It could have been the direction we saw it. My first thoughts it was a launch from VAFB base, There is no launches that night. I’ve seen meteors, comets, satellites, Rocket launches before and this was different. The size is what amazed me. Anyway cool site. Will always have camera on my night walks now.

I saw what I thought was another missile launch from VAFB but it turned out to be something strange.

I was watching TV and, out of the corner of my view through a window, I saw a bright light. I thought VAFB was doing another launch. I went outside and observed that it was not a missile (not the usual engine rumble and the trajectory was wrong).

The aircraft was moving south at a good clip but not anything super fast, and it wasn’t rotating. I kept watching as it flew directly over my home. It was dark so I could not gage altitude, but I would guess under a thousand feet. It seemed to have a round cylindrical shape, with red and green lights. I was thinking it was an airplane-- it had to be, but with no engine noise? I saw what looked like a shooting star just to its left and thought that was a strange coincidence then, I saw another.

I tracked it until it was over the city of Lompoc then I saw it stop. A white light was coming from the top. This light had a strange look though. Instead of just a solid light it looked like it was a very fast strobing light. I was considering it might be some experimental, Air force thing. Then I saw what appeared to be an aircraft with a single white light coming from the direction of the VAFB flight line (that aircraft made a jet engine noise) and was headed toward the "floating" craft.

The first craft then resumed its clip heading down the coast followed by the other craft until I lost sight of both.

I've lived on or around AFB’s for over 40 yrs and never have I witnessed anything like this, so I just wanted to tell someone.

I’m curious if anyone else saw any thing odd tonight?

Well, maybe I’m nuts and it was just my imagination.

It was in the middle of the day and I was heading back from Lompoc Ca to Pismo Beach on Hwy 1.

As I rounded a bend in the road between the hills I saw a huge black "net like" mass about 300 ft off the ground. It appeared to be undulating like a piece of cloth underwater.

My first thought was that it was some type of netting material possibly dropped from one of the aircraft from Vandenberg air force base. Then I noticed that it was neither descending or ascending, just floating and slowly moving forward. The whole time moving and rippling as if underwater.

I pulled off to the side of the road as did a few other vehicles and continued to watch it for about five minutes.

I had no camera or any way to document it.

It moved to slow. Like it was going to land.

While I was sitting on the couch at work I heard a horrible loud humming noise. It got louder.

As I went outside I noticed the lights started to flicker. Across the street there it was. Heading Northwest slowly. It was diamond shaped-not rectangle. With 4 white lights at each corner. I could see it very clearly. Like it had a aura around it. There was a white in the middle. Looked like the shape of a backwards C. I was black or dark gray.

After about 8 minutes I couldn't see it anymore. I called my boyfriend and woke him up. He ran outside with me still on the phone. I saw it. I could hear that horrible noise over the phone. We were and are both in shock.

About 7 to 10 minutes later I heard another humming noise. Sounded like a airplane, but just to be sure I went outside again. I believe it was a C-5. Heading the same direction as the Unidentified Flying Object.

4 main lights, a bunch of little white lines under neath it, a horrible very loud "high pitched humming" (did not sound like an aircraft) flew over our heads, Kristina was at work a half-mile away, and she called and woke me up I ran outside and saw the bottom of it. It was usally quiet for any flying craft. Perfectly crisp clear night. It flew off South-west twards Vandenberg airforce base.

Tapered Triangle

I was looking upward at a cluster of stars, when I observed what I initially thought to be part of a constellation of stars. My eye then caught sight of exactly (3) of those stars moving at a very slow rate (but very noticeable!) of speed.

These "stars" were seen at an approximate angle of 70-->80 degrees from the horizon (and heading northeast-->southwest). Within about 30-seconds, the three stars were completely out of what I thought was a constellation and had traversed the sky to what appeared then to be a 45-degree angle from the horizon.

The shape was DEFINITELY AND WITHOUT DOUBT traingular (however, the triangle was more "tapered" (almost like a thin arrowhead). Absolutely no sound was heard (however, the object may have been overhead at a considerable distance and therefore I may not have been able to hear any sound).

To be very blunt and honest, I became somewhat unnerved by this episode and went inside without watching what eventually became of the object.

I asked my husband to come outside, but by the time he could, the "object" could not be located. My husband stated, "Maybe it was a stealth."

Curiously, the object did come in the initial direction of Vandenberg AFB (which is only several miles away from my location).

***I must say that over the last week I have been doing my usual night-time star watching and have noticed a definite increase in the amount of satellite-like white (very distant) lights that traverse the sky over my area. They have travelled in all directions (west--> east, southwest--->northeast).

I have not reported any of these events, but have pointed out many to my husband.

Bright red and orange lights darting back and forth made my cell phone lose reception and when they dissapeared my cell was working ok.

I was standing outside looking for the moon when i saw bright red and orange lights darting really fast across the sky. then it went back and forth and up really fast then it dissapeared into the fog. Then like 2 minutes later IT CAME BACK and was doin the same thing so I tried to call my boyfriend and as his voice mail message came on and my phone got really staticky and I almost lost reception. then the lights and stuff shot strait out dissapeared again and when it dissapeared my phone stopped being staticky and i had clear reception again. It hasnt come back this time.

A shiny, tumbling disk was seen moving slowly to the southeast.

I was just heading out of town (Lompoc, CA, USA) on an overnight trip. I was driving S/E on Highway 1, when I noticed a flashing out of the corner of my eye. I looked out the driver's side window on my left, and noticed a strange disk like object that seemed to be tumbling. The flashing seemed to be from the object reflecting sunlight as it tumbled. I immediately pulled my car over to the side of the road, at the point where Jalama Beach road intersects Highway 1. This is about 8 miles S/E of Lompoc. Vandenburg air force base is about 10 miles to the west of this sighting, and extends to the north.

The object eventually disappeared behind a mountain ridge, the ridge being about 1 mile S/E from my location, and perhaps 1000 feet above my vantage point. I was able to watch this object for about 5 minutes; which gave me enough time to mentally record some facts, which I'll list here: Time: 2:25pm, August 25, 2003 Weather: fair and sunny, warm, no clouds. Wind (at ground level) was calm.

Direction: object was N/E of me, moving S/E, parallel to Highway 1.

Motion: object was moving slowly, possibly drifting in an upper level wind (wind was calm at ground level); moving away from Lompoc, in the general direction of Gaviota or Santa Barbara. The object never changed direction, or speed. It crossed perhaps 90 degrees of open sky over the course of 5 minutes.

Size: object seemed about 1/16 inch in diameter, viewed at arm's length.

Distance: object was greater than one mile away(see above).

Description: object was disk shaped, with a shiny, chrome-like upper side, and a dark, gray or black, non-reflective bottom. The shape was similar to a coin. The flashing I noticed was due to the top side reflecting sunlight as the object "tumbled." No features were visible on the disk itself. The object was completely silent.

Tumbling motion: at first glance, this object seemed to be slowly tumbling as it drifted to the S/E. As I looked more carefully, I noticed that the chrome-like top side remained the top side throughout each "tumble." Perhaps "extreme yawing and pitching" would be a better term than "tumble," with the disk as much as 80 degrees from horizontal at maximum. This "pitching" had a very regular periodicity, lasting about 2 or 3 seconds before repeating. This allowed me to see both the top(chrome-like); and bottom(dark); sides of the object, as well as its' thin cross section, when seen from the side.

Though the object was too far away to be sure, I strongly suspect that the actual motion of the object was a "rotational precession." This is similar to what a spinning coin would do as it slowly comes to rest on the surface of a table. And like a tabletop coin, this would indicate that an upward force was acting on the object.

This object was far enough away to make a positive ID difficult(A pair of binoculars would have been perfect, but I didn't have any). Still, as I watched, I mentally went through a list of what it wasn't. It definitely wasn't: an airplane, a hot-air balloon, a helicopter, a rocket launch (I've seen many from Vandenburg), a piece of mylar scrap, a blimp, or an advertising balloon. It was also flying fairly low over private ranchland, which would make a vehicle of government origin, less likely.

The only rational explanation I could think of was a child's mylar balloon, drifting in an upper level wind. However, a balloon of this type would be far too small for the distance this object was at. They're also too "fat." This object was thin, like a coin. When the object was viewed edge on, it practically disappeared, with only a thin line visible. Also, remember the tumbling? A drifting balloon will remain motionless(no tumbling), as it slowly glides over the ground, since it would be in equilibrium with the prevailing air currents. Was the tumbling then caused by thermals? Probably not, since there was no altitude change, and the motion of the tumbling was quite regular(periodic). I decided, while still watching this object, that the balloon scenario was extremely unlikely.

I searched this UFO database and noticed three other similar cases, oddly enough, all from this general area, one in Laguna Niguel(5/11/2003), one in Goleta(also 5/11/2003), and one in Santa Barbara(8/24/03, one day prior to my sighting). Laguna Niguel is about 150 miles S/E of here, Goleta and Santa Barbara are just down the road, S/E about 30 miles.

Also of note: when viewed on a map, the direction this object was heading was exactly parallel to the Pacific coast, albeit 10 miles inland.

About me: I'm male, 39, 20/20 vision. I have a strong science/math background, and currently work as a teaching substitue at the local high school. I have some flight experience, having once trained as a naval aviator. I've also studied UFO cases for many years, though I prefer to stick with cases involving policeman, military, or pilots. I never expected to see one for myself , though.

we were observing the sky in one area. This bright flashing object appeared...not flying.In stationary position. Flashing lights and intenesity with flashes. Blue, white, red, yellow..and green by a few of the observers. Disappeared in a flash then reappeared in same spot more than once. Went to new location out of town...and then spotted to more craft. Using binoculars, you could see that when the first obj. flashed...the 2nd and 3rd seem to mimick the flashes. We observed for over one hour...when the first once just seemed to head slowly over the hills and disappear. the other two remained and we did not stay long to see when they were gone. The objects did not appear as a star twinkling or as a planet. They flashed multiple colored lights...and in sychronicity. They stayed in once place, and the first and brightest one appeared to spin as the lights had a neon...tracer effect when the light sourse is moving. The second one actually had a second lite off to its side, but really couldn't see it without the binoculars. it had a black space with no stars behind the two lights. Interesting fact: there was a Delta II launch from VAFB that afternoon.

i entered most information in the above statement. The observers were four adults and one 11 year old girl. Two men and two women and one daughter. The two women had had a few glasses of wine but the men were completely alcohol free. The first man who saw the first object timed the event on his watch. He alerted first his fiance to come see, then me, the wife and co-home owner of the yard where we were visiting and sky watching. My husband also observed as did my daughter. We used our own vision and 1 pair of binoculars. This enabled to see the flashes as flashes of colored lights...and the slight movement of perhaps spinning...but not going anywhere. 3 of us...the other couple and myself are avid readers on the subject of UFOs and such topics. I have never seen anything like this...or anything similar even though i wonder whats out there, and always look to the skys. The first man, has said that he has had a few (2 or 3) unusual sightings...in his life. His fiance is very intuitive and open to unusual possibities. We all 3 are very intuitive, empathic, and open to the unknown...but this was for real for all of us...including to my husband and daughter who are born skeptics.

In April 1999 in Lompoc, California at approximately 11am I was hanging out with my friends skateboarding in front of my duplex, not far from an ICBM launch site, Vandenberg Air Force base (now Space Force Base). I remember one of my friends pointing out something in the sky that resembled a black triangle with red blue and white lights on each of the corners and observed the object hovering westward of Vandenberg and just above the local Surf Beach. After my friend Adam pointed the object out, I also witnessed it and remember being very curious about what it could be. There were no sounds from this object but I did remember hearing normal birds chirping and cars driving by.

I would also like to point out that Vandenberg didn’t have a flying mission(which helps eliminate military aircraft) and strictly focused on satellite positioning and various forms of rocket launches. I don’t know if there were nuclear payloads at this location but given their mission at the time, it would be highly probable that nuclear warheads were within 5 miles of this occurrence.

We saw a circular flashing object in the eastern sky slowly descending.

At 2320, my wife and I was outside in the backyard having a smoke just before bedtime. All in a sudden, my wife noticed a flashing object in the eastern sky. She quickly grabbed our bonoculars to see what it was. After she looked at the object, we observed a circular rotating object with flashing red, blue, green, yellow, and white lights slowly descending the horizon. After about 40 minutes, we know the object was lower from the original location we first seen it. I then quickly booted up our computer to report this unusual sighting. Update 10 Aug/0023: My wife just came back in the house and said it slowly disappeared from the horizon.

A 2.5 foot diameter disc shaped ufo disguised as the full moon suddenly moves to within inches of my face.

When I was a young pre-teen, I lived on the edge of Vandenberg Village, adjacent to the Los Padres National Forest, a few miles from Vandenberg Air Force Base. My house was in the last row of the development, and there were plans for extending the housing development to include hundreds of new homes in what was the wooded area over the fence of my back yard. The construction companies had finished the main asphalt road, and the street lights had been installed and were operational. Other than the road itself, there were only woods on all sides for miles.

One clear summer night, I was watching bats catch moths underneath one of the new street lights. The moths would be attracted to the lights, and the bats would be attracted to the moths. My friends and I would pick up pebbles and throw them into the air, and watch as bats swooped down and approached them before breaking off the pursuit after realizing they weren't prey insects.

I was kind of lost in the pleasure of just finding pebbles and throwing them up in the air to watch the bats chase. There was a large full moon overhead. That's what I was doing when I had a life-changing encounter with a small UFO.

It was too small for a person to occupy, approximately 2.5 feet in diameter, and it moved so quickly that it could not be seen except when hovering motionless at different points. One moment it was in the night sky directly between me and the full moon, lit so that it was perfectly camouflaged against the moon behind it, perfectly still and silent. But as my binocular vision adjusted and it came into sharp focus, I felt a sudden shock as it appeared that the moon was very much closer than it was supposed to be. At the moment it registered in my mind as out of place, I became slightly disoriented and it instantaneously moved to within inches of my face.

It was so close that I could see a mirror image of my own face displayed on its convex bottom surface. If I hadn't seen it so illuminated before, I would have guessed that its coating was a perfectly reflective polished metal. There was a soft humming electrical arcing sound coming from inside it, like statically charged particles being sucked through a very quiet vacuum hose into some other place entirely. It surprised me so completely that I was literally frozen in the deepest visceral fear that I've ever felt. It was as though I had been in the jungle blithely examining an innocuous plant, and out of nowhere a 9-foot-long man-eating tiger had pounced on me. The part of the brain that registers fear is the amygdala. When it is active there's normally an urge to fight or flee. In this case, it was so directly stimulated that I felt only a primal, overwhelming, paralyzing fear. I remember thinking, "Oh my God! This is really happening to me." The next thing I remember was "waking up" walking on my way home about 50 yards from where I was before.

This level of propulsion and active material technology might be representative of advanced nanotech. While there is a slim possibility that some elite and secretive humans had that in the 1970's, it seems much more likely that it was of a non-human or post-human origin. Given the probable scenarios that are described by futurists such as the inventor Ray Kurzweil, it seems inevitable that we will eventually modify our own biology and become vastly different than the species we are now, with many orders of magnitude greater intelligence and computing power. When we reach that level of advancement, it is quite likely that we will no longer need the large, cumbersome, inefficient bodies that we have now. So different will be our physical structure that it's not unreasonable to predict that our minds and machines will be structured on a scale too small for modern humans to sense, even with our most sensitive instruments.

This must be the case for the advanced civilizations that came before us. Just as we may find it desirable in the future to return the Earth to its pristine natural state, free from human structures and pollution, so too may those who came before us. We have no evidence of their existence precisely because they were so thorough at cleaning up the mess that they made on their way up the evolutionary and technological chain. They were simply very efficient at disposing of the evidence of their earlier civilizations.

So that UFO I came into contact with must have been a machine of their design. Perhaps they monitor and manage us, in the same manner that we manage wildlife in nature preserves and zoos. Perhaps they prefer to remain undetected as they intervene in our affairs only in the most subtle ways, such as steering our ideas or dreams from within our brains. Perhaps we are their grand experiment, or maybe even their toys or their pets. Rather than communicate with us through left-brained verbal symbol sequences such as speech, they prefer to communicate in a much more efficient way, which is to choreograph our behavior, interactions and culture. Perhaps they are responsible for our more complex dreams. For example, my dreams often include higher beings that demonstrate nearly unfathomable powers within the simulated reality of the dream, and complete telepathy in terms of understanding my thoughts and intentions immediately as they occur or even slightly prior to my awareness of their occurrence. Perhaps we belong to them, and they own us, while most of us remain ignorant of that reality.

FLYING DISC OBSERVED OVER MOUNTAIN DURING LAUNCH OF SCOUT MISSILE

IN APPROXIMATELY APRIL OF 1963 I WAS ASSIGNED AS A NAVY CRYPTOGRAPHER AT NAVAL AIR STATION POINT MUGU, CALIF. NAS PT MUGU WAS AT THAT TIME THE NAVY MISSILE TEST CENTER, OPERATING CLOSELY WITH VANDENBERG AFB. THE COMMUNICATIONS CENTER AT PT MUGU HAD WHAT WE CALLED A "COUNTDOWN CIRCUIT, WHEREBY A MINITE BY MINUTE COUNT WAS PASSED FROM VANDENBERG TO PT MUGU DURING A MISSILE LAUNCH. DURING AN EVENING SHIFT (UNABLE TO REMEMBER THE DATE CLEARLY), WHILE WORKING IN THE CRYPTO CENTER, MYSELF AND MY PARTNER, JOHN WELLS, AND A CIVILIAN TECHNICIAN, (NAME NOT REMEMBERED), WERE MONITORING THE COUNTDOWN CIRCUIT DURING A LAUNCH OF A SCOUT MISSILE BEING FIRED DOWN RANGE INTO THE MID PACIFIC AREA. THE COUNT DOWN WAS GOING NORMALLY UNTIL APPROXIMATELY 4 MINUTES TO LAUNCH, WHEN SUDDENLY BELLS BEGAN TO RING ON THE TELETYPE MACHINE AND A READ OUT STATING "HOLD HOLD HOLD UFO UFO UFO". THE REPORT WE GOT VIA ANOTHER (CLOSED CKT) TELETYPE, (CRYPTO COVERED) WAS THAT VANDENBERG HAD LAUNCHED TWO CHASE PLANES TO INVESTIGATE THE UFO.. THE REPORT FURTHER STATED THAT THE UFO WAS "HUGE" (NO OTHER DEMENSIONS GIVEN) AND WAS HOVERING OVER THE MOUNTAINS JUST SOUTH OF THE LAUNCH SITE. UPON THE APPROACH OF THE JETS, THE UFO SHOT OFF AT VERY HIGH SPEED IN A WESTERLY DIRECTION. IN ADDITION THERE WERE MANY CARS DRIVING NORTH AND SOUTH ON HIGHWAY 101 WHICH PASSES DIRECTLY INLAND FROM THE LAUNCH SITES WITH A LOW MOUNTAIN RANGE BETWEEN THE TWO. MANY VEHICLES STOPPED ON THE FREEWAY AND PEOPLE GOT OUT AND WATCHED THE UFO HOVERING OVER THE MOUNTAINS, AND ALSO OBSERVED THE UFO LEAVE TO THE WEST AT HIGH SPEED. AT THAT TIME I WAS A NAVY RADIOMAN (E-6) AND THE CRYPTO SUPERVISOR. I WAS ALSO TRAINING OFFICER TEACHING CRYPTO AND CRYPTO OPERATIONS. DO NOT BELIEVE THE NAVY COULD IN ANYWAY RATE ME AS UNSTEADY OR UNRELIABLE. ((Personal information deleted)). THATS ABOUT ALL I CAN REMEBER AT THIS TIME, AS IT WAS MANY YEARS AGO.
