There was 4 of us enjoying the view and the stars, we were looking at h the constellation trying to form shapes and all of a sudden we saw something moving in the sky we tried to figure out if it was a plane or a satellite but it was round with many colors and not moving very fast we tried to follow it and then 2 more come in sight we were super scared

I have never seen anything like this before -was not a plane or satellite. Moving North.

No sound. Object looked like a tic tac then changed to oval shape. Bright white light -the object was moving north. I was in my backyard. The sky was clear. I was the only one to witness the object. No flashing lights -solid bright light. This took place at 9:44 PM (PT).

Red Orb flying south at a slow rate, Red Light goes out and pitch black square object is seen.

As I was walking out my house facing East, I looked up and all around and to the west I see this Red Orb not bright, and what looks like some sort of fog or haze maybe clouds or smoke around it.

As it was traveling south I grabbed my binoculars, then the Red Orb shut off I couldn't see the Red Light anymore, although what I could see was this very dark black square looking object continuing traveling south behind the trees and then out of sight.

Strange sound, like a whistle going high then low then high, then a plane emerged from a cloud that I hadn't seen enter it. Looked like a normal plane, far as I can tell but made a very strange sound. Simply flew off north after emerging from the cloud at normal plane speed.

Two witnesses observe white sphere move slowly to the northwest, reverse direction and move to the southeast. Clear skies with no wind and unlimited visibility. 80 degree weather. No noise from aircraft. Speed estimated at 100-200 MPH. Object did not appear to be a drone. Height estimated at 5,000 ft. Memorial day parade that day.

Looked like a helicopters spot light high up with a blue green light beam in the center of it.

The light continued to travel up and west, but blue green light stayed stationary in the sky and turned into a streak of light.

We were waiting for the city fireworks show that evening. When my friend noticed in the Northeastern sky, three dots that resembled stars moving towards the west in a triangle formation.

As we watch them they proceeded to move in there own directions independently.

We ruled out everything as planes , or satellite.

We determined since the were just small white star like points, they had to have been outside our atmosphere.

There were 5 people to whom witness this and all agreed they were UFOs.

From my house looking at 030 degrees lights were going from left to right brighter than any plain flying by. Each light appeared to be not connected and when they were starting from the left they appeared to be from the horizon then gaining altitude before it appeared to head east and disappear.

The light was falling straight down out of eastern sky. The light was extra bright like a planet in summer. This thing moved really slow. Once it stopped going lower, then it started to move east and got brighter. After about 30 seconds of moving east, it dimmed and disappeared. My wife and I just went out to walk, which I turned on the sprinklers. I checked to see if my wife was clear of the grass, which is when I seen it in the sky. Amazing scary and kind cool. I wonder what it could have been. It was close to the flight pattern into san Jose, but thus went directly back into it quickly. Plus, there were no indicator lights. I know my commercial planes, this was not a plane.

Red orb at 23:52 3/10/11 took a picture zoomed in to see a diamond shaped ufo. Please help

I am such a skeptic; I went outside to smoke a ciggy at about 23:45 when this red light caught my eye. To my eyes was a good size but I could not give a shape other than a glowing circle, before i took the picture. It was not flashing light, blinking, it was a steady red glow. Was not airplane or helicopter. It was completely silent. It was low enough for me to see its speed. It was going at about the speed of a low flying helicopter. It stopped dead in its tracks when I stood up. Came back a ways then become still. Then it went back the other way. I followed it into my back yard and watched it fade into the distance. I do not get scared easily! I am such a skeptical person when it comes to things like this. But I was bone chillingly freaked out!!! After i regained my thought process i ran inside and woke my girlfriend up in tears. I thought I was going crazy. She reassured me after I showed her the picture that I was not. If you zoom into the picture you ca! n see the object outline. It looks diamond shaped. It is weird because this happened the same time all of the stuff in japan started. Please help me prove that I am not going crazy. I am scared only because I have never seen anything like it!

THREE BRIGHT FLASHES HIGH ABOVE GILROY CALIFORNIA

I WAS IN MY BACK YARD WATERING THE LAWN ENJOYING THE COOL NIGHT AIR. I WAS FACEING WEST LOOKING ALMOST STREIGHT UP JUST LOOKING AT THE STARS AND SAW THREE BRIGHT FLASHES OF PURE WHITE LIGHT. THE FLASHES LOOKED TO BE ABOUT AS HIGH AS SATELLITES TRAVEL AND OCCURED ABOUT 3 SECONDS APART WITH THE LAST FLASH BEING DIMMER THAN THE FIRST TWO. THE FIRST TWO FLASHES WERE IN THE SAME SPOT IN THE SKY AND THE THIRD DIMMER FLASH IN A SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT SPOT. THE THIRD FLASH SEEMED TO BE MORE OF A YELLOWISH COLOR AND NOT AS PINPOINT OF A LIGHT KINDA FUZZY. I CONTINUED TO LOOK AT THE SKY FOR ANOTHER TEN MINUTES AND DID NOT SEE ANYTHING BUT A FAINT SHOOTING STAR ALMOST IN THE SAME AREA. THE SKY WAS VERY CLEAR NO WIND NO CLOUDS. I HAVE BEEN INTO ASTRONOMY FOR YEARS AND FREQUENTLY USE A TELESCOPE. I HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF SATELLITES AND OTHER SPACE OBJECTS. THIS WAS NOT AN IRIDIUM FLARE OR ANY SATELLITE FLASH.

I saw a white sphere shaped object floating in the sky. I watched it float in place for a few minutes until it dissapeared.

I was sitting in my store and noticed a lady in the parking lot looking up in the sky and pointing to her companion. I went out the back door and looked up curious about what they were looking at. I noticed a small sphere shaped object that appeared white in color floating up in the sky. I watched it for a few minutes to see what it would do. I blinked my eyes because it was bright,clear day outside and when I opened them it was completely gone. I searched the sky bu it was no longer anywhere to be seen.

Was comming home from South of Gilroy CA. ,when I saw a bright light in the sky, about 5 miles south east of gilroy. I thought it was an air liners landing lights, but then the light started to dim then bright again. This happened about 3 times then the light just went out. it was a sphere shape with orange copper color. I thought maybe an air liner went behind a cloud, but 1. never saw the light or a plane , and 2. it was a clear night.

pulsing light 20-50 miles out from gilroy probably over saratoga or los gatos

In the process of closing my daughters window (which faces north) I notice an amber light not moving to the north west. After about 2-3 mins it winks out. return to the room for more observation at 10:13 wait a few and the same light appears, This time same spot, the light rises from behind hills , pulsing like before 2-3 mins. I estimate the light was about 20 to 50 miles out from my position.The hills are about 10 miles out.

triangular 3 bright light craft flying silently near Gilroy, California

I was driving in my car coming from Gilroy, California travelling east on highway 152 east halfway towards Interstate 5 opposite a very large reservoir as the full moon was out and the sky was clear. The CHP was investigating an apparent truck accident across the road when I saw three very bright white lights in triangle formation fly at a 180 degree angle which was flying sideways fly over the accident at about twenty miles an hour silently. There was no noise and the craft was flying at a very low altitude perhaps twenty feet above the ground and came right at me and straighted out and flew right over the hood of my car and it picked up speed and disappeared over the reservoir. At first I thought it may have been a life flight helicopter but this craft made no noise and my car window was open. I had the feeling the craft was friendly and was concerned about the accident.

3 BRIGHT LIGHTS HEADING SOUTH 3:00 AM YOU COULD NOT HAVE MISSED THEM!

ABOUT ONCE A WEEK OR SO DEPENDING ON THE WEATHER I SET OUT MY CAMCORDER AND FILM A TIME LAPSE OF THE NIGHT JUST TO SEE WHATS GOING ON UP THERE WHEN NOBODY IS LOOKING.THE REASON WHY I CONTINUE TO DO THIS IS BECAUSE I HAVE WITNESSED SOME ODD THINGS THAT HAVE INFLUENCED ME TO TAKE A DIFFERENT PATH IN LIFE. I FEEL THAT IF I COULD CAPTURE ONE OF THESE ODD EVENTS ON FILM IT WOULD HELP EXPLAIN TO OTHERS WHY I AM SOO DIFFERENT NOW, NOT LIKE I GIVE A RATS ASS ABOUT FITTING IN WITH THE REST OFF THE FLOCK. ANYWAY, I DECIDED TO FILM LAST NIGHT BECAUSE OF THE EVENT THAT OCCURED A FEW DAYS AGO IN ARIZONA WITH THE NUCLEAR POWER PLANT AND ALL THE PEOPLE THAT SAID THEY SAW SOMETHING IN THE SKY. AT 3:00am I WENT TO CHECK ON MY CAMERA TO MAKE SURE THE LENS ON MY CAMERA WAS NOT ACCUMULATING DEW. I WAS TAKING THE USUAL CHECK OF THE SKY AND JUST WHEN I FINISHED MY 360. CHECK I NOTICED TWO BRIGHT LIGHTS IN THE SOUTHERN SKY. I QUICKLY GRABBED MY CAMERA AND TOOK IT OUT OF THE TIME LAPSE MODE WITH A BIT OF FUMBLING AND WAS ABLE TO CAPTURE TWO OBJECTS THAT WERE ABOUT AS BRIGHT AS THE BRIGHTEST SATELLITES YOU HAVE EVER OBSERVED. THE OBJECTS WERE MOVING SOUTH IN BETWEEN THE STARS ALTAIR AND VEGA. ONE OBJECT WAS A FEW DEGREES AHEAD OF THE OTHER LICKE THIS `\, . THEY WERE MOVING MUCH FASTER THAN SATELLITES PLUS I WENT ON THE WEB AND USED THE J-TRACK 3D PROGRAME TO SEE IF THE SPACE STATION OR ANY SATELLITES WERE PASSING OVERHEAD AT THAT TIME. ACCORDING TO EVERYBODY WHO PROVIDES DATA ON SPACE DEBRIS THE SKY WAS CLEAR.

In the northeast sky while star gazing, myself and two buddies overlooked a bright orange light which we first assumed was jupiter. For five minutes we paid no attention to this "Planet" however my peripheral was drawn to its increasing intensity once again. About the size of jupiter, this object burned a bright orangish red. Using a fence post as a fixed object it seemed to be traveling south west indirectly in our direction at a very slow pace It appeared to be growing even more in intensity. Al the while my friend was retrieving a fresh battery for the camcorder. As soon as the battery was placed into the camera the glow seemed to do a standing 180, and over a 15 sec period dimmed and as the camera was turned on it flashed 3 times in 3 second intervals, brightness decreasing each time and that was that.

Looked like a huge chunk of something, the size of a small car, seemingly on fire, falling out of the sky at a great rate of speed, like a meteor trailing sparks, fire and smoke. Wasn't sure whether or not it would burn itself out or smash into the ground. Burned out after 3-5 seconds. Never seen anything that dramatic and that size fall out of the sky. Initially thought it was someone shooting fireworks but quickly realized it was much too large to be shot out of someone's backyard.

TRIANGLE FORMATION OF FUZZY SOFT WHITE LIGHTS 150' FEET OFF GROUND FAST, QUIET!

AT 1:48 AM THREE FUZZY SOFT WHITE LIGHTS WITH TRANSPARENT CENTERS IN A TRIANGLE FORMATION WERE TRAVELING EAST TO WEST AT A SPEED OF ABOUT 600mph AND INCREASING TO ABOVE MACH WITH AN ALTITUDE OF ABOUT 150' AND CLIMBING TO AROUND 2000 FEET. GILROY IS SITUATED IN A SMALL VALLEY WITH THE MOUNTAINS TO THE EAST RAISING TO AN ALTITUDE OF ABOUT 3000' AND THE MOUNTAINS TO THE WEST RAISING TO AN ALTITUDE OF ABOUT 1200 FEET. THOUGH THE OBJECT SEEMED TO MAINTAIN THE SAME ALTITUDE, I KNOW IT WAS NOT AT AN ALTITUDE OF 1200' OR GREATER WHEN IT FIRST CAME INTO VEIW, THEREFOR THE OBJECT WOULD HAVE HAD TO BE ASCENDING SLIGHTLY TO CLEAR THE 1200 FOOT MOUNTAINS 8 MILES TO THE WEST OF MY LOCATION THAT IS 223' FEET ABOVE SEA LEVEL. THE LIGHTS WERE SPACED ABOUT 15 FEET APART FROM EACH OTHER AND HELD A FIXED FORMATION WHILE HAVING NO VISIBLE STRUCTURE BETWEEN THEM. I AM NOT SHURE WEATHER OR NOT THE OBJECT WAS TRANSPARENT OR WAS ABLE TO MIMMIC ITS BACKGROUND IN ORDER TO BLEND IN BUT, IT WAS NOT DARKER THAN THE CLEAR DARK SKY WITH A SLIGHT GLOW IN THE LOWER ALTITUDES FROM CITY LIGHTS. IT IS QUITE POSSIBLE THAT THE THREE LIGHTS WERE NOT CONNECTED AT ALL. THE OBJECT SEEMED TO REFLECT A VERY SMALL AMOUNT OF LIGHT WHEN IT WAS ABOVE THE MAIN PART OF THE CITY AS THE THREE LIGHTS BECAME MORE DISTINGUISHABLE FROM EACH OTHER AS THEY REACHED THE DARKER EDGES OF THE CITY BUT, THIS COULD HAVE BEEN DUE TO THE REDUCTION IN THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE OBJECT AND MYSELF AS IT PASSED DIRECTLY OVERHEAD. THE WHOLE THING SEEMED TO HAVE A SOFT WARM OFF WHITE FUZZY GLOW TO IT I WOULD COMPARE THE BRIGHTNESS AND LOOK OF THE LIGHTS TO THREE BARN OWLS FLYING THROUGH THE DARK SKY. THE PERSON I WAS WITH THAT WITNESSED WHAT I SAW CLAIMS THAT WHEN I TURNED AND RAN TO GO GET MY VIDEO CAMERA LOCATED IN MY HOUSE THE OBJECT CHANGED FROM A STEADY LIGHT TO A PULSING JUMPING LIGHT AS IT SLIGHTLY ACCELERATED. THE WHITNESS SAID THAT IT DID NOT MOVE IN A STEADY CONTINUOUS MOTION BUT IN A LEAPING JUMPING WAY LIKE IF YOU WERE SKIPPING FRAMES. WITNESS SAID THAT THE SWOOSH! ING, RUS HING AIR SOUND THE OBJECT MADE WAS ALSO INTERUPTED AS IT MADE THESE LEAPS. I DO NOT RECALL ANY SOUND EXCEPT FOR THE AIR RUSHING PAST MY EARS AS I MOVED AT SPEED THAT PUSHED THE SOULS OF MY SHOES TO THEIR BREAKING POINT. I REGRET MAKING THE DECISION TO GO GET MY CAMERA. I SACRIFICED OBSERVING THIS OBJECT MAKE THESE JUMPS AND SOUNDS FOR A CHANCE TO BE ABLE TO SHOW COUNTLESS OTHERS THIS EVENT. I TRULY FEEL THAT THIS OBJECT SAW ME RUN AND DECIDED TO DO THE SAME. I GUARANTEE THAT EVERY TIME I STEP OUTSIDE IM GOING TO BE THINKING ABOUT CRAZY TRIANGLES FLYN OVERHEAD. DAMNIT!

Triangular Craft in Gilroy California

My friend and I were stargazing and hanging out. It was really dark out and my friend looked up into the southeast sky and told me to look up and pointed. I looked up and saw a triangular shaped craft with 3 soft golden-orange colored lights, one on each point of the triangle. The craft was approximately 1800 feet in altitude and flying in a westerly direction at a very high rate of speed. The craft made a high-pitched noise and seemed to move in a skipping type of fashion. TWO IMAGES TAKEN 4 MINUTES APART CONTAINING A SEMI-TRANSPARENT FLAT OBJECT WITH 5 BLUE LIGHTS.

OBJECT WAS CAUGHT A ON A STILL IMAGE PICTURE TAKEN BY A CAMERA ON THE TOP OF A MOUNTAIN NEAR SAN JOSE CALIFORNIA. THIS CAMERA IS ON A ROOF TOP FACING WEST AND TAKES A PICTURE EVERY 4 MINUTES. THE OBJECT WAS CAPTURED IN 2 FRAMES, ONE AT 3:16 AM AND THE OTHER AT 3:20 AM. IN THE FIRST PICTURE THE THIN FLAT OBJECT WAS LOCATED AT THE TOP OF THE FRAME WITH THE LEFT SIDE OUT OF THE IMAGE AND THE RIGHT SIDE ABOUT 30 DEGREES LOWER. THE OBJECT SEEMS ALMOST TRANSPARENT EXCEPT FOR 5 ROUND BLUEISH LIGHTS. USEING WINDOWS PAINT PROGRAM I PUT A GRID OVER THE PICTURE AND THE SPACE BETWEEN THE LIGHTS IS 16-20 PIXELS INDICATING IT MAY NOT BE ROUND. THE DARK SKY IN THE BACKGROUND IS PARTLY CLOUDY WITH THE CLOUDS SLIGHTLY ILLUMINATED BY THE CITY LIGHTS. THE CITY IS BELOW IN THE BACK ABOUT 7 MILES AWAY. THERE ARE DARK 1800 FOOT MOUNTAINS WHICH ARE BELOW IN THE BACKGROUND ABOUT 3 MILES AWAY FROM THE CAMERA WHICH IS ABOUT 4202 FEET HIGH. THE SECOND IMAGE TAKEN 4 MINUTES LATER HAS THE SAME BACKGROUND AS THE FIRST IMAGE. THE OBJECT IS LOCATED IN THE LEFT ABOUT 1/4 THE WAY DOWN THE PAGE. IT APPEARS THE OBJECT IS LOCATED BETWEEN THE MOUNTAINS AND THE CITY WITH THE DEFINITION REDUCED DUE TO DISTANCE AND POSSIBLY MOVEMENT.

Twice in the same place

I live in gilroy where very little city light is. I came out of my workshop where I was playing guitar into the night. I looked outside to the hills and saw a shimmering light then as I watched for several minuetes the light decended benenth the hillside. then ascended then descended. Much more followed. I saw a red light in the sky. This is not the first time I saw a red light hovering. In 1992 or so I saw a red light fly right over my head about 200 Ft at this same address. It was silent, glowing red and moving about 5 miles an hour, I would say. It was about 50 ft in diameter. I saw it coming over the same hills that I saw this tonight. I think they are still here. When I came in to write this the light moved to an illuminated tower, where there wasn't a light before. The light I was staring at previous was gone. It moved to the tower. Hey, I wrote to the editor before. Can you ask him to reply?. I haven't seen a ufo since 1992. But today marks a new turn of events. I think this is real. Very bright white/light-green light going East-West seems to expand suddenly (explode ?) and vanish in a fraction of a second. Trajectory going down at about 15-20 degrees inclination. Object itself not seen, only trail of light observed. Total length (at arm length) about 1 - 1 1/2 in.

Note: This is a resubmission of earlier report with date and time corrected. While driving North on Hwy 101 in California, 5 miles So of Gilroy (about 40 miles So of San Jose), a bright light attracted my attention. Was about 45 degrees above horizon and slightly on the left of the road, traveling from right to left but descending at about a 15 degree angle. It first appeared as a very bright trail which quickly formed a blob with raggedy edges about four time the width of the original trail. Looked like it was exploding. Then everything disappeared. There was no residual trace forward. Seen at arm length, the trail (tail?) was about 1/2 inch in length, the "blob" about the same in diameter. There was some light clouds but the object light was very bright and could have been seen through them. The duration was very short, one second at most and object was gone by the time I called it to my wife's attention. Could have been satellite/rocket reentry, but direction seems wrong. Could be a meteorite.

While driving North on the 101 85 miles South of San Francisco, I saw a bright flash transverse the sky from zenith to almost the horizon from south to north.

I am a 26 year old software engineer from Seattle, Wa. I have been interested in UFOlogy for about two years now and attended an event in Seattle last August attended by Mr. Davenport and Dr. Greer. I am not 100% sure what I saw was of unexplicable orgin, it was however like nothing I have ever seen before. I was driving north on the 101 freeway, 85 miles south of San Francisco, in a very wilderness area. I was on top of a hill and had a clear view of the sky obstructed by very few trees. I was momentary startled as a bright flash of light streaked from the top of my wind shield towards the nothern horizon. It moved through the sky at incredible speed and flashed twice before disappearing beyond the horizon. The streak of light was whitish-yellow in appearance and had significant thickness giving the perspective of something that was realitivly close to the ground, three or four miles would be my unfounded impression. Also the light was very bright especially in the two instances when it flashed, the drama of the effect resembled a lightning flash close then resembled any meteor I've ever seen, with exception that the line traced in the sky was straight and there were no clouds in the sky. Also the object did not appear to burn our and fade away as meteors do, rather it just appeared to vanish at a point 20 degrees above the horizon, as if moving away from me a great speed. For some odd reason the second flash the object made, reminded me of the intro scenes to star trek the next generation where the enterprise makes a flash before going to warp. Nevertheless, in summary. The object had a large apparent size given the thickness of the trail. The object made two flashes as it streaked across the sky. The object traved from south to north. The object traversed at least 70 degrees of sky in 1/4th a second. The object was very bright, and had the effect of startling me.

Reference the forwarded photograph taken at the end of July first week of August 1996 time frame. I recently came across this photograph again and scanned it in to my computer, something I did not own when I first arrived in Gilroy; enlarging it for a better view I was intrigued by what I was looking at particularly the straight angular bar at the bottom. I believed that there was a seperation between the two objects in the photo but on showing it to a couple of friends they suggested it was connected, the blue in the middle was the sky reflecting on to what must be a very shiny side of the object.

All the more intriguing, as this was not what I had taken a picture of. I had been working in my kitchen when from outside a white flash caught the corner of my eye turning to see what it was I noticed what I at first thought was a white plastic bag that the sun was giving a brightness to as it was being carried by the wind.

There was no wind this is July/ August in Gilroy Calfornia, as I stood watching trying to figure out what it could be this brilliant white object hovered for a few seconds maybe as long as thirty seconds at times then it would all of a sudden be in a different place in the sky, skipping in zig-zag fashion extremely fast, impossible for anything I had previously believed could travel at such a rate. It would be in one position then literally in a flash a position distant to its original.

I watched this erratic zig-zaging and hovering for maybe six minutes. The object seemed to be getting closer as it appeared to be getting a little larger each time.

I ran to get my camera, returning the object was closer and larger that any time previous and just hovering. I quickly aimed my camera and hoped I had captured something the object simultaneously disappeared.

As you can see there was no no expanse of brilliant white light but the object you see.
