Hovering disk across the sea from Pacific Coast Highway near coastline!

Disk shaped object hovering! One light flashing! Moved slowly then stopped. There is nothing on the news so we are presuming this is something and nothing. But we would love to know what this was. It was very slow and stationery. Then we went inside for less than 30 seconds came out and it was gone! No where to be seen! We would just like to know what it was. Thank you !

I had just finished working out and decided to walk down to the lifeguard tower #13. I look up at the sky and try to point out what star is what. The brightest lit star I guessed was Mars, Venus and Jupiter based on the warm color I was seeing.

After about 30 seconds, I notice it was moving as if it was an airplane far away so I said, “Wait, never mind. That’s an airplane.” Then, the ‘airplane’ swung back to where it was at and kept moving in a swinging motion. Maybe swung about ¼”. I felt like it was a drone because of the movement it had. It would stay still for a few seconds, move up, down, left, right, in combinations.

It had a blinking light to it too. The light appeared to look as if it was an object far away and was spinning. The longer I would stare directly at it, it would become blurry and I’ll look away.

Strange Light Over Palos Verdes CA from Hermosa Beach Pier 6pm [Sunset]

I'm sure this can be easily debunked but still worth sharing. Today at 6pm [sunset] from Hermosa Beach Pier I saw an object over Palos Verdes peninsula.

This object was brightly lit with a solid green light that then turned into a solid red light. It was headed east [off the ocean] within 45 second it cross the Palos Verdes peninsula [20 miles]. It then landed bottom of the Palos Verdes hill.

The Lights- Typically all FAA aircraft have blinking light[s] of some sort not solid bright light. also, The distance from me was approximately 10 miles and these lights were quite large. I'm down in Hermosa Beach often and it is very common to see helicopters overhead. This object's lights were larger that helicopter lights.

Speed- The object traveled approximately 20 miles within 45 second then came to abrupt stop to then drop down straight down. Although it didn't seem high off the ground it was just about parallel with the top of Palos Verdes which has a elevation of 1457ft. It could have been easily flying at an elevation of 1300ft. where it landed close to sea level so it easily dropped over 1000ft within 4-6 seconds it landed on the edge of Palos Verdes/Redondo/Torrance area.

The object could have been a drone or some known aircraft but the lights was seem to big and it's precision and speed made me skeptical.

Speeding light flying by window

This morning at approximately 1:20 am I awoke to police car sirens. I was lying in bed staring at my window when all of a sudden a bright light flashed by followed by a huge burst of wind followed by absolute silence. Not a minute later the police sirens stopped. I’ve lived here since December and have become quite used to cars driving by at all hours in the evening. I’m a fairly light sleeper as I easily awake to people talking when walking by my apt. I know what the sound of a car sounds like because I also work on a busy drive street. You can make the sound of tires across pavement out just as easily as blinking police lights. Neither were present in this incident. This has happened twice now with the last time being a couple months back. I did not report it then.

V-shaped amber lights

On Monday, November 17, 2008 at about 6:20pm, I got out of my car and was walking towards my house when I just happened to look up in the sky and something caught my eye. It was moving smoothly and steadily across and in a v-shape. There were these light sorts of hazy amber lights. I tried to count as they flew over my head--it looked like 6 lights and I couldn’t determine how far away they were, but I was so enamored, that I realized I wasn’t even breathing. I watched as it continued to fly in a SE direction and then it disappeared. I looked around for someone else to witness but it was too late.

So, then I called my mother on my cell phone to tell her what I saw. As I was speaking to her another one appeared so I got of the phone and ran to my neighbors. It more or less was heading in the same direction as the last one. By the time my neighbor got outside it was gone. Of course, I was thinking to myself, "I must have a witness or people are going to think I’m loosing it." Well, we waited a few minutes but we didn’t see anything. I asked my neighbor if he’s ever seen a UFO and he said ‘Actually, yes about 30 years ago I was with my young sons and I pulled over to look at my car’s engine at night and they noticed a flying object that was flying sporadically and not like an aircraft at all.’ So, after that I went inside. But decided to go to my other neighbors who has a roof top deck.

We all went on the deck and I thought to myself, what are the chances we’ll see something else. About 10 – 15 minutes went by and the same amber triangular lights appeared from the Northwest. This time they were closer than the two other times. They flew right over our heads! 5 lights total in a very tight v-shape absolutely silent and the lights looked like two equal lines in a cross shape. My neighbor’s mouths just dropped open. None of us could utter a word and then, like the others, it disappeared to the SE direction.

We all shared what we witnessed then just a couple minutes later and shooting star/meteor looking bright light shot over our heads and fizzed out. After that we didn’t see anything else. Quite remarkable.

disappearing object during a sunny, clear daytime on Hermosa Beach, CA

We, 2 white males (42 & 45), were running on the beach, between Manhattan Beach Pier and Hermosa Beach Pier southward at about 10.30 a.m.

It was a clear, sunny day with the normal traffic in the air, commercial planes helicopters etc.

I saw, what I first thought was a helicopter in a very high attitude, I would say about 20.000 feet, a gray or silver oval shape object, but it didn’t move, just stayed there.

While we were still running I ask my friend If he sees that and what he thinks about that. So we both looked towards the object, suddenly it started to lighten up, a bright white light, got bigger while I could see some, kind of electric aura around the light, the next moment when it was getting a bigger light ball It just disappeared right in front of our eyes, no clouds around, in the middle of the clear, sunny, blue sky.

Two lighted objects dancing in the sky above Los Angeles on Oct. 31, 2008

Do not really know where to start so I will just begin at where we were. At the beach on Halloween smoking cigarettes. I went back to the house to get a sweatshirt and when I came back my brother was yelling at me telling me to hurry up. When I meet up with him, he and my other friend were watching these two objects in the sky. They were pretty far away, looked like they were above Los Angeles. They did not move like planes, or helicopters. The two objects were dancing in the sky, like kites, or Devil Rays in the ocean. It was too spectacular so I ran to the strand to get another witness. A Hispanic man wearing a cowboy hat walking with his son of about 8 years old, an Asian man, black woman and a group of people walking down the strand all saw it. The man and his child, watched with me for what seemed to be about 5-8 minutes.

Shortly after we began watching, we saw a stream of light stretch across the sky. It looked like a shooting star, but we figured it was too much of a coincidence and it probably was another UFO entering into the atmosphere. We never saw it join up with the other two objects. We watched the two dancing, lighted objects for about 10 minutes, until they were gone.

When it all was happening, they were shaped like kites. Not really sure of how many lights there were, but they changed from bright white, and the occasional single red light. From our view, they looked like they would dive down to the ground and float back up above the clouds. They never traveled in straight lines, more random directions, again they looked like they were dancing or playing with each other. This is my story and this morning I have looked on the net to see if they were other witnesses of the event. Have yet to find any report of it. This is surprising to be because it was over Los Angeles which has one of the busiest air traffic area in the country. It did not appear that any helicopters were following the lighted objects.

2 UFOs - both caught on tape.

2 objects, both moving incredibly fast for about a half hour at around midnight.

Objects would turn to reveal 5 bright white lights, then turn to become a single white light before jutting off. It would emit a smaller red light routinely, often right before jutting off. One of them went into the water and cruised up to the shoreline before disappearing. Someone posted them online and I'm pretty sure it's the same thing I saw the same night at the same time only a few hundred yards from where myself and my roomate witnessed them.

A triangle of three flashing red round objects moving very fast and changing formation.

I stepped outside and looked up in the sky as I always do(looking south ~ south west). I saw 3 flashing/blinking red round objects moving fast in a triangular formation. I ran and got my binoculars. The objects seemed as if they were chasing each other ~ at one point they were lined up ~ the 3rd object caught up to the 2nd object leaving 2 objects visable. Then the 2nd object caught up to the 1st object which left one object in the sky. It was strange ~ the 3 objects became one and then it left my sight due to houses that were in the way.

This happend around nine o'clock, my brother was watching the fire works when all of a sudden he went as white as a ghost, my mother went over to him to see what was a matter and the see shouted oh my god, i went to see what was going on and then.. it was weridest thing ever, disk shaped with small port holes going round it's midsection, the lower half of the disk was moving slowly, it just sat there for a minute and then went over the house and dissaperred, it was so close about 100 feet away and 100 feet in the air, if we had a camra it would have been the best picture ever taken. I can remember that i got a very wierd feeling looking at it, like fear.

5 Red Glowing Cigar Shaped Ships Sighted at Hermosa Beach in 1967

We were on the boardwalk at the beach, it had just gotten dark when 5 red cigar shaped lights came quickly out of nowhere, moving VERY fast toward the beach. About 1 mile out they simply stopped and hovered there for a minute and then left even more quickly than they came. When they left, they went back in the direction they had come from, the horizon, and it was so fast that they almost seemed to diappear. Everyone saw them.
