2 people witness consistent lights lighten up in the Big Dipper, travel a short distance then fade out.

My female friend and I decided to go down to near the beach and look at the stars and see if we could see the meteor shower. We arrive around 11 pm. We parked near the beach but there were too many people so we parked a short distance down the road. There are no trees so we had unlimited 360 degree view. My friend noticed objects lighting up and Travelling out of the Big Dipper cup heading east then fading away shortly after. I told her it was likely satellites as we were seeing several in many parts of the sky. But she kept consistently telling me that these objects are continuing to come into view. Sometimes there was one, sometimes two at a time within 30 seconds to 1 minute spacing. The objects appeared as the same color as the stars. Some where brighter than the stars and others has has brightness than the stars. You can view the pictures to see the brightness of the stars and objects I was able to capture.

I finally decided to follow up on what she was seeing. She told me to look at the Big Dipper. (For this report a scientist can figure out the exact angle of elevation using the pictures I included. Those show the Big Dipper cup and the Meta data shows I took the pictures at 12:25 am on 8/12/2023.)
While my eyes came into focus I was able to see the objects brighten up, much like a satellite brightens up in the night sky. The objects were brightening next to the upper left star of the Big Dipper, heading east (left to right in the pictures) then slowly fade away about 1 -3 Big Dipper lengths to the east of the Big Dipper. I thought this was odd as the other satellites were visible for much longer lengths of time. The full moon had risen from the east at this time. We were both fixated at this phenomenon as there were one, two and sometimes three of these objects coming from the same area of the northwest corner of the Big Dipper. The objects were not following the same line nor going the same speed. I have see the starlink train several times and starlink was usually brighter.

These would brighten and move then fade away all with different visible lengths which is also odd. The objects moved about the same speed of an average satellite but each one was moving slightly faster or slow. This was noticeable when there were multiple objects at one time. The most we saw was 3 at one time. They would become visible close by but never at the same location, always slightly different speed and slightly different direction. All the objects moved left to right, generally east. Mostly they moved directly to the right of the Big Dipper starting at the upper left cup star and go across the upper right cup star but sometimes above the left star and move down crossing the right cup side. Most of the time the objects moved directly left to right or slight above the upper right cup star. The arc angle of direction was bounded by the lower right cup star and one length (length being between lower and upper right side cup of the Big Dipper) above the upper right star. These objects would fade out before going beyond these bounds.

We started counting the objects and we counted to about 60. But my friend was yelling them out before I looked in that direction and we had seen a dozen before we started counting. We probably witnessed more than 90 of these objects and I said to her this doesn’t look like a star link train as the objects were not in the same line and moving at slightly different angles. Plus we witnessed too many of the objects than could be released on a starlink train. It seemed very odd that other satellites we could see lasted much longer lengths across the sky while these objects lit up for just a short duration. I tried to take a video of this with my iPhone 13 max pro but the stars and objects did not show up. I then took pictures and it did show up. In each of the pictures is the 4 stars of the Big Dipper which forms the cup. The objects are to the right side near the upper right star of the cup. The series of pictures shows two different sets of objects, possibly 3 different objects as I can’t remember.

It was very interesting at first but then I had a feeling of concern realizing that there might be more to what we are seeing. My friend is into social media and she went on instagram live talking about the objects and trying to get videos to she those on it. She told me some people on her feed when out and saw the same objects coming out of the Big Dipper also from their locations in the US. Maybe someone else reported it.

Saw 30 flying objects in equal formaiton moving rapidly high like planes from North to South in the Western sky May 3, 2020 at 2140.

Approximately 2140 my husband and I were in spa on deck when I looked up and saw what I thought was a plane. My husband said it was moving too fast to be a plane. We saw 30 of these moving objects in formation of equal distance appearing from the same area in the sky, one after another in a row, steady and looked like evenly spaced. It was a clear night, we could see plenty of stars and also a couple of planes. We could not see them off in the distance as the moon was bright. May 3, 2020 with full moon in a few days. We heard a rumble like planes in the distance but we are also near the Pacific Ocean so it was not clear if the rumble was from the air travel. We looked to see if they were repeating a formation like some type of training but could not see that. They seemed to come out of nowhere in the same area and go off into the South. Coming from the North to South in the Western sky above my home.

Eight lights in V pattern traveling from east to west in seconds dissapearing over the ocean

On Saturday evening at around 10:15 pm I stepped out on my deck as usual to look up at the stars and noticed approx 8 or so lights traveling in a V flight formation from east to west over the pacific ocean. The lights were not bright but very distinct and at the rate of speed they where moving, it seemed it was only a couple of seconds as they traveled the visible night sky from east to west before I lost track of them over the pacific. In that V Pattern and at that rate of speed each individual light was pulsing within that V as they travelled. After that evening I discovered there were other reports in my area within that time frame describing similar viewings. Something's going down man! A true mind blower!

Watched a triangle form and then lights sped away in the opposite direction from each other. Then lights came very quickly following each other and they flashed very brightly and then would disappear. More and more came. Couldn't be planes or satellites. Then the lights would pulsate and disappear and reappear and pulsate again.

Large, bright object straight up and very high could be seen for 1/2 hour never moving until covered by clouds.

I cannot tell you the shape of the object because it was extremely high. My husband called me to come outside. When I went out he said "look up".

When I looked up it took me a moment to find it and then I saw an extremely bright roundish object way up high in the sky.

At first I thought it was a balloon but it was VERY windy and it never moved. It stayed in the same place for as long as we watched it, about 1/2 an hour until the clouds covered it up. It was VERY bright and stationary and when I looked for it the next day it was gone. Was there anything in the sky during daylight that day that we might have seen?

On Jan 2 at 10:30 pm my family observed a sphere shaped object that appeared to be on fire. It moved away on a 45 degree angel and changed shape. It appeared to have flames around the bottom and bright light in the middle with florescent green. It zig zagged and moved up into the sky until it just disapeared. We took video of the object. We were watching tv in our living room which has a large sliding glass door. We saw the strange sphere and run out on our porch where we watched it and videoed it.

Miltary refueling aircraft illuminated with green laser, large triangle of brights lights seen, F-15s in pursuit all in a 30 mins time

On 10/19/10, at about 2030 hrs, I was home watching TV with the sound fairly high. Several bright lights caught my attention to my right out my glass door. Looking out my sliding glass door directly adjacent to my chair, I observed a series of five (5) light in a “V” formation in the sky moving directly west of my home.

My home lies in the Smith River canyon with a ridgeline on the southern, eastern and western sides on my home. This series of lights were moving slowly from east to west. They were extremely bright and white in color. The lights disappeared in sequence as they traveled in the sky over the western ridgeline out of sight.

I had several impressions. Firstly fireworks, however there was no smoke trail, independent movement of the light nor vertical movement. Secondly, a major aircraft (possible airliner) was in the process of crashing or forced landing. I ran out to my deck overlooking that portion of the sky horizon and heard nothing. No jet aircraft noise at all. The lights I had observed were as bright and illuminating traveling away from my position as they would have been had they been landing lights traveling towards my position only brighter.

I ran upstairs to my bedroom and asked my wife if she had seen these exceptionally bright lights. She said no, but she had heard a rumble and the second floor of the home had been shaking. I considered calling the sheriff’s department (where I work), but reconsidered, as I did not want to be made fun of for crackpot questions. I did not call.

On 102010, at 0600 hrs I went to work and relieved the night shift patrol sergeant, exchanging highlights from the previous evening. I casually asked if there had been any report of lights. I was briefed on the following events.

At 1953 hrs (101910), the Del Norte Sheriff’s Office received a call from Russ Burks of the FAA in Seattle, WA. Burks stated that a U.S. Air Force refueling aircraft had been “completely” illuminated by a green laser. This occurred somewhere between Crescent City, CA and Happy Camp, CA. The aircraft was at 22,000 feet when this illumination occurred. Burks requested DNSO to respond to the Gasquet, CA area to investigate any unusual activity and possible source of the laser.

The nightshift sergeant and a trainee were already in this area for 35 to 40 minutes without seeing anything suspicious.

In the Ft. Dick area just north of Crescent City a deputy sheriff observed a series of lights that were very bright, large and believed to be some type of aircraft. This deputy is a former US Marine and insisted the lights were not flares or any type of military aircraft he had seen prior.

From 2018 hrs (101910) to 2037 hrs, multiple calls were received by DNSO dispatch through “911” regarding white/orange lights, possible flares and military jets in the area. The sergeant had dispatch re-contact FAA Seattle Center to inquire about possible military jets being in Del Norte County. The response from the FAA was that F-15s were in our County “doing their thing”. This is all they would say.

Later this same day (102010), I spoke to many of our staff about the previous evening.

One staff member had seen these lights (orange to white) while leaving an event in Smith River, CA (just south of the Oregon border). The lights were exceptionally bright. They seemed to blink off two at a time until gone from sight.

Another staff member reported seeing the refueling aircraft at a high altitude and that this aircraft was completely visible from underneath by a bright green light.

Another staff member had spoken to a local business owner (Owner operator of an air ambulance fight company). This owner stated that he and his wife had been exiting a store in Brookings, Oregon (20 miles north of Crescent City) and had seen these bright lights. He had told our staff member that he believed there was some large aircraft “on approach” to the Brookings small aircraft field. Then the lights seemed to blink out two or three at a time.

His secretary later told this owner that she had been leaving a gym in Harbor, Oregon (adjacent to Brookings) when her car had been completely illuminated from overhead by a bright white light. She had thought at the time that a streetlight may have blown up, but now suspects that it was something else.

In summary, this event was highly unusual for this area. The report of a military aircraft being illuminated at 22,000 feet by a green laser, the later appearance of tactical aircraft flying at low altitude pursuing or training pursuit, the large set of lights slowly moving east to west at low altitude.

The weather conditions this evening were clear skies, 50’s in temp and a nearly full moon in the southeastern sky.

What I observed was massive and brighter than any light I have seen on an aircraft. I did not hear any noise when I went outside seconds after it went over the ridgeline.

The military regularly uses an air corridor that is south to north directly over my home. Their altitude is always 20,000 or above. I am very familiar with that activity. What I saw that night was nothing like I have seen before.

bright object appears in sky, then disappears in a mega second.

the object was a bright round light. i could not tell if it was flat . i was gazing west and looking at what i think is mercury. the light just all at once was there in the sky, moving north in a parallel line. my vision was unassisted. the object appeared from out of nowhere. it was just there, approximately 8ft. to the north of mercury, and it travelled 1ft. in my field of vision, still going in a straight line. there was something odd. i knew it wasn't a shooting star. i recall it being brighter that mercury. the unsettling thing was the object wasn't traveling in an arc. it was just there then it wasn't.

driving home from my daughters house tuesday night the 4 th of sept. it appeared the sun was going down but it was different because it kept getting brighter and brighter i am 50 years old and ive never seen anything like this before every direction we turned it was there it was like it was getting closer and closer to us.we had to hold a paper in front of us to be able to see bright orange that radiated so much its hard to describe then pretty soon the bright light was gone maybe an hr then we noticed there was a cloud of pink all around us just like when your in the fog the bottom half was veery sharp blue and on top of it was very pink we could hardly see and it appeared as though it was getting closer we couldnt even see the trees in front of us. then when we stopped to look to see what happened to the bright light the pink was still there and in the sky there was 4 ships they were not airplanes or vapor they angled down ward and 2 looked a little smaller we could see a light at the part that was angled down the ships were very sharp and there was the pink clouds that were near them and they looked like clouds ive never seen before almost like a design of some kind you could see the crafts turning right and you could almost expect them to land when i got to my house 15 min later there was no pink clouds aand no crafts any where . i was really scared aand this is not a story i was scared . all the time we were driving it looked like the pink clouds or mist what ever it was , could come down on us my 8 year old grand son was with me and he was really scared we sped up and got home as fast as we could

There was a very bright orangish light out over the Pacific Ocean gradually moving to the north...it was accelerating up and down...

Right after getting out of the movies at around 9 PM, I was walking towards my car in the parking lot and noticed a very bright light out towards the west-northwest. I got in my car and drove to the beach to investigate (about two minutes away) and got out of my car and walked down on the beach. The light was orangish and very bright. I thought it was a planet at first(as bright as Jupiter) but Jupiter was straight up above me, along with another minor planet. Watching the light, I noticed it was moving in a northerly direction very slowly over the ocean, and in the meantime descending gradually. At that moment I assumed it was a plane coming in to land at the airport here, but it never approached the airport. I then drove north along Pebble Beach Drive to another pullout where I sat awhile, and to my astonishment the object began to move up and down and began to slightly accelerate at certain moments (the object was still very far in the distance) and then it would slow again. At this instant I just knew it wasn't a plane. The light then began to appear brighter, and then fade again, where it faded altogether and didn't reappear. I drove down to the end of the road to Point St. George to see if it had appeared again, but the sky was pitch black and there was no light to be seen. I know there were other vehicles driving along Pebble Beach at the time, and I know someone else must have seen what I had seen--it was too bright to ignore it.

This was a bright orange ball that was seen by others above ocean.

I was at work at about 3:00am I went outside to have a cigarette and noticed a bright orange ball in the sky above the harbor which is about 4 blocks away. It was about the size of a dime at arms length. It hovered there for about five seconds then traveled east at a high rate of speed leaving a tracer behind. I don't think this was an emergency flare or plane because of the brightness of it and the speed that it traveled at.

Saw a bright light (looked like police chopper with spotlight). watched a few sec, noticed a blue tail of smoke??? Saw light beam get bigger, total light... light went out... then big ball of smoke. Smoke was white in color, and only lasted about 30 sec's. Blue tail stayed lit for over 5 Min's...

Driving S/B on Hwy 101 about 3 miles north of Crescent City. Driver noticed a brite light in sky, just south/west of us... perhaps a few miles up (hard to say), at about 30 deg south south west of us. He pointed it to me and I saw a very brite light,it seemed to be focused bright light that showed the outline of the light beam. at first it appeared to be a focused spotlight from a police helicopter, pointed towards the ground. I also noticed a blue smoke pattern about 500 feet away from the light and looking like it was tapered and also pointed toward the ground in a 30 deg angel. While we were driving, we slowed, and a few vehicles around us slowed, all looking at this light. The light focused on the tail, expanded it's beam, and lighting up the source with a very bright white light, totally involving into a ball, and disappeared. A large ball of white smoke expanded around this source and disappeared. After about 30 seconds, the white smoke disappeared, but the blue trail was still illumines for at least 5 minutes..

5 points of light, quite distant, looked to be playing,having fun.

Thought to be a cluster of five stars soon changed after about five seconds. These five points of light were moving with-in paramenters they set for themselves. They were changing the'yre positions to different points...very quickly. So fluenlty infact,,they're movement looked like they were acting as one, trying to create 3D looking shapes. They would buzz around like flies within a cluster...then STOP..FROZEN, but in another perfect looking 3D shape.(as if you could connect the dots, with your eye's).. The shapes had depth. Thats what convinced me they were trying to make us see...shapes....simple 3D shapes...these lights had pilot's inside....they had supreme intellingence and total understanding of they're whereabouts in space, and they're positions apart from each other within the cluster. They were performing arial stunts..like birds mating...UNBELIEVABLE!! To describe how far away they were......If you look into a clear night sky...you can always see what looks to be sattelites whizing across the sky....they only go in one direction..either left to right or right to left...these lights were the same distance away from me...they were far away...but very close at the same time, almost too close....... I watched them as if I was watching kids play in a playground...It looked a a science fiction movie, or a java-applet..on your computer....I didn't want them to go..they did....they just moved on...peacefully. With-out a doubt..in my mind......I am 110 percent positive..this was nothing made from human technology. I'm a smart person...I have perfect eye sight.....I would laugh in anybody's face, that told me I was seeing an illusion. Maybe if we all just took a moment out of our busy lives, and looked into the skies...maybe we would all learn something or two!

Orange object over Crescent City glowed like a burning fireplace log.

Note: Picture, if you will, the ever-changing colors of a burning log in a fireplace. These colors change from to dull cherry red to a bright orange, and the intensity of these glowing embers would vary, as well. At the approximate time stated above, I had departed the local theater for home. Heading west on the main thoroughfare for home, I was attracted to this kind of orange glow (as stated above). It seemed to have a flat odd appearance. I indicated rectangle! The shape seemed square but it did seem to change slightly, I guess due to the change in variation in these colors. The night time sky was clear, and a slight breeze was coming from the south. This object was going south. I followed it all the to the overlook at the Battery Point lighthouse vista point. This object veered southwest and drifted out to sea and disappeared into the night.

craft with blinking colored lights flying faster than any object known.

I was on the fishing vessel ((Name deleted)), albacore fishing 300 miles offshore of San Francisco California when I and all three other crew members aboard spotted a blightly lit object in the sky. The object flew across the sky so fast, that it looked like a meteorite. But it had red, orange, green and blue colored lights flashing rapidly around it. Then another similar object appeared. The two objects flew back and forth across the sky all night. They did not get close enough to make out a shape but sometimes they zipped away so rapidly that it was like a streak. Activity continued all night long. The deck hands reported to me that once during the night a craft without lights flew low over the boat. The next morning our boat passed by the Abraham Lincoln air craft carrier. Note that often UFO activity is reported in conjunction with military activity. Upon arriving home, in Astoria Oregon in October, my neighbor, who works in a local cafe told me that she overheard a conversation with people who said they had seen a UFO while out on a boat. I am interested to find other people who have reported similar incidents in the same vicinity.

unexplainable white light above the mountain, flashing it blue, all animals making noises.

I was 8 years old and living inside a single bedroom motel with my 2 brothers and mother( she was on drugs), It was valley view motel, in smith river, a few minutes from the bigger City Crescent city. At 12:00-3:00, i woke up to my mom walking me and my brothers out to the front yard. It was a bright white light, it was spraying the whole mountain with a blue flash every 10 or 15 seconds. It was so bright white, that the glow around it was like beams. It sounded like a stampeed, but with loud birds and forest animals. Every kind of animal sound I think. Down the sidewalk was a black kitten spinnning in circles.

there were two they were around us red white blue lights acting agressive got whithin a quarter mile of home and they turned around

during the summer of 1995, while taking a man home, i sighted an oval light high above the car,thinking i was smart, i flashed the cars lights,the oval light blinked off and on,i asked the other people in the car,if they had seen the light,they said yes,i was amazed,the light was moving at us,the people in the car said to go now they were scared, so i left the spot i was parked in, and started down the road, the other people said hurry its getting closer, theres another one a smaller one its comming for us it passed over head, turned around and chased us, i was speeding by then very dangerous road, i decided to slow down for safety,as i was deciding to slow down i had a strange feeling of slowmotion,and i was kind of looking down for a second, looking at the dash or something, because i remember thinking this is like i was asleep for a second, and woke up you know like you go to sleep at the wheel.

the first very bright oval light was huge,the second ship was seen close up by the two occupants of the vehicle it was red white and blue lights, it was a mother ship hovering above what seemed to be a large body of water. That year the fishing season was at a record low. a-lot of fisherman nearly went bankrupt, while others had to sell there boats to make inns meat!!!!!!!!!!!

High pitch tones were probably an encounter with a UFO in Crescent City California during the early 1970s

I was a teenager at the time and overheard two very high pitch tones. The tones were witnessed by another person of similar age in the same room. Both of us dismissed the tones as a dog whistle at the time. The tone started in one pitch and many moments later appeared to change pitch to a second tone. We were actually in a bedroom when we heard the tones. It is difficult for me to remember the exact date, time, and month because this was something that happened a very long time ago. I do recall that it was raining at the time this was going on and for that reason I listed November as the most probable month of the event.

A number of years later I attended a support session for abductees that was held in Seattle on Aurora. Although I have never been abducted, I learned from the group that high pitch tones are one of the signs associated with contact with a UFO. For that reason I have decided to file a report.

I saw a gray figure in the forest path staring at me and my friend

I was thirteen in 1971 and was attending a church pot luck at the Miller Rellim Lodge. After eating, the teenage kids decided to follow the demonstration forest path to the top of the hill to look out at the Pacific Ocean. A friend and I were at the front of the group. When we got to the top of the hill we saw that there were hundreds or thousands of shiny triangular objects lying in the grass. At first I thought they were lightning bugs, but they weren’t moving and were a crystal white color. I started to pick one up, but one of the girls in the group screamed and we all started back down the hill together. I thought that I would get one the next trip up the hill.

After getting to the bottom of the hill, we all finally started the walk back up the hill. About halfway up, I stopped and asked my friend if he also saw what I saw in the path ahead of us and he said yes. Standing in the path was a gray figure that appeared to be bald and naked. The creature (for lack of a better description) had large black eyes. It seemed skinny with joints and finger tips that were bulbous. Its hands had fewer fingers that we do, but its hands were larger and they hung at the knees. We stared at each other for what seemed to be several minutes. The rest of the group had started later than my friend and I so no one was directly behind us on the trail. Suddenly one of the girls screamed and the creature leapt like a cat, with arms first, into the bushes along the path. My friend looked at me and asked if I thought that it was going to head us off down the path. That was enough for me to start running down the hill. Needless to say I didn’t go bac! k up the hill to get one of the triangular objects in the grass. I tried to tell the adults at the dinner about what we saw, but my friend clammed up and said that he hadn’t seen anything. Through the years, I have told a few people of this encounter and have always gotten a laugh so I don’t tell anyone anymore,

straight line of lights in sky moving east,

5:17am started coffee. 5:24 went to east facing window to have a smoke. Weather was dark night/slightly overcast stars visible Observed a straight horizontal string of 12-15 evenly spaced moving white lights.Moving east with slight south trajectory. Went to get old iPad to take video, hoping to get lucky(no low light capability)No luck all black. Then saw a second string identical to first emerging from cloud cover further east. Approximate distance between them was 2x length of first string. Sighting was less than 2 minutes. 5:24-5:26am. I then then went to flight tracker / no aircraft within 200 miles. Went to google maps to plot trajectory of flight path. My assumption was towards Mt. Shasta + or - 150 miles . Due to the identical structure of both strings, I think think odds are good that they were 2 craft(I was seeing one side) not 25- 30 craft. The only reason I am reporting this is I hope for another witness. This is a remote area. Whatever happene! d was not staged for public consumption at this area or time/unlike phenix lights.
