Orb chased airliner/closed in quickly/flew around the left side of the plane/matched its speed in front of the nose/appeared to hover

Mom & I were outside & heading upstairs when I looked up and saw an airliner flying over (nothing new/ we have SFO, OAK, SJC Airports here) What was New! We both saw that an orb was chasing the airliner, it then accelerated towards the back of the plane & eventually flew around to the right side of the plane & then it went to the nose. It matched the speed of the airliner & then the orb stayed at a constant distance in front of the airliner for about 15 seconds. The orb then went off to left side of the airliner and began to decelerate. As the airliner went on its way the orb stopped in midair and then slowly faded/disappeared right before our eyes. Blue and white circular ball falling to earth spotted in Northern California

My friend and I were in our neighborhood park when all of a sudden we saw a bright white and blue circular object drop from the sky super fast and maybe crash. I thought it might be a meteorite but it looked like a ball in the sky and went straight down, not diagonal from our view. It was very bright white and blue like the color of the sky in the morning inside the ball. It went down so fast from high in the sky down to earth in less than 3 seconds. I couldn’t even take a picture as I didn’t have enough time to grab my phone. The sun was mostly down so there was no way the sunlight could have distorted our view. It was not a drone. The sky was clear and darkening. There was no trail or smoke when it fell. A coast guard helicopter flew by less than a minute after and I am sure the pilot seen this as well.

Fast moving and jumping white metallic ball in the sky that was seen for about 5-10 min

I saw something in the sky. At first I thought it was an airplane as we live close to the airport. This thing was flying toward me. It was intriguing because I couldn’t see any wings of the “airplane”.

I called attention of my husband and it was also strange looking thing in the sky. I brought the binoculars and saw a white bright ball in the sky going from south to north direction. Then it changed its course to east. It was jumping and mowing quite fast. Then it was moving south and it disappeared in the distance. I checked the sky for over the next hour looking for it. I saw airplanes in the far distances and was able to see its wings so I’m sure it wasn’t airplane nor a bird. My husband is very skeptical but today he was very sure he saw a moving ball in the sky that was jumping. I need to add that it appeared that there was a gray small cloud around it, like a mist.

We both saw the same thing. I’m wondering if you have received similar sighting in my area

Large bright aircraft with two distinct beams of light separated into large bifurcated gaseous cloud over southern New Mexico tonight.

My husband and I saw a large bright aircraft in the southern New Mexico sky near San Lorenzo tonight, traveling east at around 7:20 p.m.. It was bright enough to be moonlight, but the moon was not up yet. It looked about the size of Saturn when it is closest to the earth, but it kept increasing in size, then we noticed two sections of lights on either side that looked like searchlights on a VERY high flying plane. We continued watching, then suddenly it shifted into something that looked like a rocket that had separated from its fuel source, then it “bloomed” into a large gaseous cloud that had two distinct sections that emerged out of the areas where the “searchlights” had been. The gaseous cloud grew to occupy a large section of the southern sky, then merged into one big balloon shape preceded by two distinct horizontal stripes of light as it reached the southeastern horizon.

As the gaseous cloud faded, two of our neighbors came up and said they had also seen the whole event, from the bright light with “searchlight” beams of light emitting from it, through the visual separation into two sections, to the “blooming of the gas cloud” and its subsequent disappearance in the east, preceded by two stripes of light.

Did SpaceX fall out of the sky tonight???? My husband has been an astronomy professor for the past 30 years and has never seen anything like this in the night sky. This is how he described it to his colleagues when he inquired if they had seen it: There was a strange elongated bright light to the west (near Fomalhaut at about 7:30pm. As it got closer it drifted to the south and then fired(?) rockets for a few minutes then they shut off. At first the rocket plumes (reflected sunlight I assumed) were short and out to the side of its travel. I interpreted these as some sort of lateral thruster or azimuth control. Then the rear engines lit off and created a huge plume (20-30 deg) across the southern sky (in Eridanus mostly so pretty far south even from here). Very bright, fan shaped and very pretty. After a while the plume disconnected from the bright point at its apex and then faded slowly away. The bright point( : ) continued in a SE direction and was lost below the southern hills from our house. I assume it was trying for a safe place to land. I hope it did not hit anyone.

A big bright white light streaks across the sky over US 101 for 2 seconds and disappears.

Driving down US 101 going north, and just before I reach the Oyster Pt blvd exit I'm supposed to take, this big white light streaks across the sky just above us incredibly fast, in a northwards direction, and disappears. The light was bright white, and it seemed as if someone had a marker of bright white light and dragged it across the sky right in front of us. It was too consistently bright, too low, and moving way too fast to be a plane, helicopter, or falling debris. My friend in the passenger seat also saw it and we couldn't explain it, so the only explanation that made sense was a UFO.

A circular light in the sky moved horizontally then vanished

On January first, 2012, I was at a stoplight on El Camino and Arroyo in South San Francisco California around 3:30 p.m. I looked in the sky and saw 2 lights perpendicular to each other that looked like commercial airplanes. I made a joke to my girlfriend that they were UFO's. The aircraft seemed to be coming from the north and both were too high to land at the SFO airport. The object on the left had a very steady flight path and ended up being a commercial passenger airplane. The object on the right was had a flight pattern that that was very different. At a very high altitude the object on the right moved down towards the ground, then back up towards the sky and seemed to vanish into thin air.

Blue light moving erratically over South San Francisco

I live in the Outer Richmond District in San Francisco (8 blocks from Ocean Beach) where I have a vantage point overlooking South San Francisco. I was standing on my apartment building roof smoking at night when I spotted a bright blue light moving erratically in the sky above the South San Francisco area (I think). It was hard to pinpoint its exact location as the fog was steadily increasing and gradually obstructing my view, but it was located not too far from the coast. If I had to guess, I’d say it was flying/hovering about 200-400 feet from the ground. Since it was hard to tell where the light/orb was coming from, it was hard to judge its speed as it moved from side to side and up and down in a somewhat erratic fashion. It didn’t seem to be moving at a tremendous speed, but if it was indeed above South San Francisco, I’d guess it was moving at varied speeds, crossing a mile or two in about 5-10 seconds (again, very difficult to judge). It would move one direction, slow down, and move the other direction in no apparent pattern, sometimes gaining some altitude, sometimes descending. There was never a sudden jolt in speed. There didn’t seem to be any other lights and I didn’t notice a spotlight coming from it. I’m not aviation expert, but it didn’t seem to behave like a helicopter. I watched it for about 5 minutes then it seemed to descend and disappear. I went back inside and looked out my window with the same viewpoint and about 10 minutes later saw it emerge again. I then went back out on my roof and watched it for another 5 minutes until the fog became heavy enough to completely block my view of it. I don’t believe it was blinking, but its luminosity seemed to vary - but I attributed this to the fog. Very weird.

Thursday night driving back on the 280 south a little after 10 p.m. I noticed how large and low the moon was, and that there were two very bright lights underneath it. I mentioned it to my passenger, and when he looked he said that it seemed they not moving. Then the two lights separated into four separate lights..two and two..one over the other perfectly aligned. Then they lined up horizontally right under the moon, and stayed there for most of our drive until the clouds rolled in…all lasted a good five minutes…it was awesome.

Getting back to L.A. on Friday night about the same time, out of curiousity I went outside. Closer to midnight it happened again! So I will be outside again tonight with my camera!! The lights were a very bright clear white.

I am a 55 year old , and my passenger is 21. This was his first sighting, and my second, but this is my first formation.

2:30am, a very loud rumbling noise overhead, strange musical sounds, and greenish image projected on wall.

This may sound crazy but here goes. It was approximately 2:20am on Tuesday morning, Sep 23, 2008. I woke up to go to the bathroom. After I got back into bed, I closed my eyes and I saw these distorted images reflected in my eyes (my eyes were closed). These images were red, blue, yellow, green and in the shape of random lines vibrating. All of a sudden I hear a very distorted sound, like someone playing a strange instrument with only 5 notes playing one at a time. This continued for about 2 minutes until I heard a very loud , deep rumbling noise, like an engine, above my house. I got up to look out the balcony window but could not see anything in the sky. All I could sense was absolute silence, no other sounds could be heard, no wind, no cars, no birds, not even an airplane which I thought could be the reason for the noise. But there was absolutely nothing. It was as if time had stopped. This rumbling noise was very low, like nothing I’d ever heard, but I couldn’t see anything. There were no lights. This lasted maybe 1 minute and then I heard those notes again. I looked around the backyard and then all of a sudden, to the left of me, I see this greenish shaped image projected on the wall of the apartment complex to the left of my house. It was the shape of a circle with a point at the top and a flat bottom with a line running through it. It was on the wall for a few seconds then it vanished. It must have been at least 10 feet wide and 10 feet long on the wall.

I then proceeded to the front of the house thinking maybe the noises were coming from there but did not see or hear anything. I went back to my bedroom, sat there for a few seconds and then heard those notes again! I looked out the balcony door I saw it again. The image projected onto the apartment complex. It lasted about 1 minute and then vanished.

You must think this all sounds very crazy and unreal, but I saw it and heard those noises. This is the first time I’ve had an experience like this in my life.

All this lasted about 5 minutes. I couldn’t go back to sleep for at least an hour after that. It was the strangest thing i've ever experienced.

While looking due west at the evening stars,I noticed a large,extremly bright light fluttering. At first I thought it was Venus, but it was much too bright and almost looked diamond shaped. Below it I noticed a smaller twinkling orange "star" which kept hoovering from side to side. Then suddenly it bolted up toward the west. It continued to do this until it stopped abruptly and began to shoot down while completly orange like a fireball. The largerlight light seemed to be moving almost as if circling. It seemed to be revolving. Changing from big and bright to getting a little smaller, but still bright, then finally shining brighter and having sharp points like a triangle. It continued to do this for about an hour. The entire occurrence lasted about 2 1/2 hours moving slowly northwest until it finally disappeared completly from sight . It was the most phenomenal thing I've ever seen!

California Bay Area sighting

The craft was seen while ascending on a peak of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range in South San Francisco, California. The sighting occured when a fairly wide peak came into sight. At this point, two people saw a gold or yellow colored saucer shaped craft, slowly decending towards their vehicle. The UFO then stood idle for about ten second, and eventually ascended into the clouds, and never returned. The witnesses then reported the sighting to a California State Patrol Officer, who told the witnesses that the craft was an airplane from the nearby airport. The witness acknoledge this thought, but realize that the UFO was of a distinct saucer shape, unlike one of any known aircraft.

it began to change shape and turned into a donut looking thing then turned out to a reverse v shape opposit of the original v shape, Then as that one got out of sight two more showed up and did the same thing and changed shapes and crossed paths and and one was switching position with the lead one. several times then got more far apart but still flew the same directional pattern they and the the first one was headed, I am going out to look for more.

I was having a round of golf. And out the corner of my eye i noticed a disk shaped saucer flying south at a speed which would far surpass that of any modern conventional millitary aircraft. It was shiny metallic in appearence and appeared to be rotating making no sound whatsoever. i was amazed by this as to my astonishment a second craft identical to the first one. First they appeared to be circilling each other for severall moments after this they turned a brilliant yellow colour then sped off in formation at incredible speed in excess of at least 3100 miles per hour this was happening directly over the golf course

Lenticular object hovering over bay

I saw an object last Saturday 1999 June 26, out over the bay, between the San Mateo bridge and San Francisco. The object was flattened football (lenticular) shaped and white with a slight amount of shadowing underneath it. It was hovering at an angle of about 15 degrees from the horizontal (ie: horizon) but there were no lights visible. I don't know the height exactly, except that it was low enough so that the object from my vantage point looked to be lower than the tops of the buildings in the San Francisco skyline. The sighting took place in the early afternoon, approx. 12:30pm to 1:00pm. The day was mainly sunny but with some smog "fuzzing-out" San Francisco city from my vantage point, but with the buildings / skyline still visible. At first I though it was a dirigible / blimp but it was symmetrical and had no lights / signage on it. Moreover, as I continued to watch it all the way across the bridge, it did not move from its position. At about the half-way point across the bridge, as I observed the object, it did a rather amazing fade-out and became completely invisible. This was not due to cloud shade or the object changing its orientation since the geometry of the object remained exactly as before while doing the fade-out. Immediately after it disappeared, I looked in the sky around the area it had been and at that moment I noticed a commercial airliner flying overhead into the area that the object had just been. As soon as the airliner had traveled a bit out of the area where the object had been, the object did the exact opposite from before and did a fade-in and was exactly as it had been before. The fade-out / fade-in took about the same amount of time, of about 2 to 3 seconds I'd estimate.

I know this happened a long time ago, but I feel a need to this day to talk about it.

Me and my cousin were fishing out near the bay.. just a few miles from the Oakland International Airport in California, when we stumbled upon what appeared at first to be a building of some sort.

but it was no building. It was 2 storys tall circular in shape about 35 feet wide, it was the shape of a round cake. It was completely covered in mirrors.. .the bottom half was stationary, wihle the top half rotated quickly in a clockwise position.

The object made a weird reverberating humming noise, very eerie sounding we rode our bicycles down this trail almost every single day! But that day changed my whole life. My cousin got scared, real scared and took of on his bike as fast as he could, he left me out there. I stared at the object for about a minute before I myself became scared.

The mirrors on the bottom half were completely mirror, but the top half the mirrors were somewhat translucent and I could see several figures standing in the top half, even though it was rotating quickly I could still see in clearly and see figures standing completely still.

Summary : Two objects rendevous at the moon.

Just a fifteen year old stargazer. I was on my deck watching the moon which was in a straight up southerly direction when a star like light approached the moon from the south and stopped beside it on the southeast side it was a full moon. I was so excited I got my mother and next door neighbors to come out and view it. While they were looking at it I decided to go through the apartment to see if anything else was coming and sure enough it was another star like light from the north. The second light approached the moon and stopped beside it on the west side. The two lights stayed by the moon for at least five minutes and then de- parted in their north, south routes. These objects were brighter than the satelites I've seen and moved at an even steady pace. A police report/newspaper article was filed.

Large saucer shaped craft hovering, California, 1962

When I saw a UFO, there were others with me...and we had a long time to observe, as well a very clear view.

It was 1962.. I was 12 years old, as were my two friends.

We were sitting in the back of a car that was traveling, late at night, through Northern California farmlands...a back highway - of which there were still quite a few in those days.

I don't remember exactly were we were...hard to know when one isn't a driver. But about an hour out of the Bay Area...very isolated countryside.

My friend's parents were driving...they both had had a lot to drink ( were alcoholics, in fact...had my mother known that, I would not have been there).

We heard them say, "Hey! Lookit that! A flying saucer"!, and sitting up & looking out the front window, we could see far down the road up ahead, what looked like a big..thing...hanging in the sky above and near an old, closed roadhouse ( or business of some kind).

We three in the back could not believe our eyes.

While the laughing and hilarity ensued in the front seat , we became very serious.

I know we were worried, and did not want to believe what the adults were saying. So as we approached it, we discussed what it was NOT. We were trying to be the adults in that car.

Not aiplane, heliocoptor, tower,clouds, balloon, blimp, lights in the sky...

It was a very large circular metallic (ship was inescapable in our minds, because that is what it looked like) object just hanging there in the sky. The night was clear, and we saw it VERY clearly...it was not far up . It was large...larger than he building it was near.

There were lights around the perimeter, and it was clearly dimensional...not flat. There was also a set of lights, on another, smaller object, that was flying around the big one...but in an irregular, darting manner.

And nothing supported it...it was sitting in the air.

We drove almost underneath it ( not quite, as it was off the road to the left), and the adults stopped the car ( laughing) to look at it.

I think it may have been me who said " Go!! Please go!". All three of us in the back were scared, because we knew we were seeing something that ..should not be.

And we three turned in our seats and watched it recede...for a very long time.

The next day, my friend's parents dismissed it, angrily. Did not want to talk about it....I think they were so inebriated at the time that they did not remember much.

Years later, when I started college, I ran into my friend from the car...we had lost touch.

And the very first thing she said to me - before hello!- was " Do you remember what we saw?" It had affected her as it did me...we saw something extraordinary and not easily explained.

Its was approximately 6:30pm, I was sitting in frontroom watching TV, when screen showed sometype of interference. I looked out the window from that room and noticed sometype of lights; being dark and they normally not there, I opened front door and went outside. We lived on a very dark street, with minimal light during dark hours. I saw a disk/saucer UFO, ran in to get my Mother, pulled her outside and pointed, there was the UFO at same point, hovering approxmiately 20 ft above the electrical pole; within 10-15 seconds, boom, it took off. My Mother couldn't belive her eyes. We left our home our 7:10pm that evening, taking back streets, which have minimal light, to get to where we were going. Suddenly here came the saucer streaking in the sky above us; we viewed it again.

The saucer in its stationary position when we first viewed it, was silver in color, with one row of lights above and two rows of lights below. Picture a dinner plate with one bowl lying downside on the top of the plate, and one bowl lying upside on the bottom of the plate. Between the plate and each bowl were the rows of lights. The upper lights were red, and the lower two rows were green and yellow. The lights were individual sections that would pulsate and go on individually.

This was really quite and experience.
