Wepersonally seen only a bright light coming down from the sky in a cone shape over my backyard and a hum or growl sound. Neighbors too

I personally seen only a bright light coming down from the sky in a cone shape over my backyard and a hum sound. My husband heard a or growl sound. We were all inside with glass door facing backyard. Son inside upstairs also heard a loud humming rype sound. It only lasted a few seconds. We went outside everything was still and quite but our neighbors were outside. The wife said she seen what look like Alien... and her boys were saying that too. They said it was a bright light making a loud noise then instantly gone. It was really weird, a bit scary, but kinda interesting. I looked at local sites and social media but no reports as of now.

Bright and sharp light in blue sky that fades away

UFO Sighting Event and report date: 5-19-2020. At approximately 6:05 am (right where El Monte and Baldwin Park [in CA] meet), while driving on the freeway, in the morning blue sky I saw a very bright and very sharp chrome colored light about the size of large star in the sky at about 45 degrees up. After watching said light for about 5 seconds and tripping out on its unique qualities, the light began to fade away very slowly and very smoothly. The light did not appear to move.

When I first saw the light, I thought it was a star (it was stationary like a star), but I quickly realized that it was far too bright outside (sky was blue) to be a star. Then I realized that this light was far sharper than any star, and this light did not twinkle or change colors like a star. It most definitely was not a star.

I knew it was not Venus because again it was far too bright outside to see any planets, and the light I saw was much smaller than Venus which is huge during this time of year. Also, Venus’s light has a clear white color whereas this light I saw a had a chrome or kind of colorless “color.” Then I deduced it was not an airplane or helicopter because this object was stationary and there was only a single solid light, no aircraft body, no blinking lights. At that time of day if it were an airplane or helicopter, I would have been able to see it. But it was just a light.

It was at this point that the hair on the back of neck started to stand up and I realized this is VERY WEIRD! About One second after feeling this “omg!” feeling the light began to fade, but fade in a very kind of subtle and smooth way. It was an extremely smooth and measured fading of the light. As the light was fading, seemingly in reaction to my “omg!” reaction, I was yelling out loud (alone in the car) “what the heck is that! OMG! Its fading away!? What the f*ck!!! It was truly bizarre.

The light reminded me of a magnifying glass focusing the suns light—it was a very sharp and very focused light, easily the sharpest light I had ever seen in the sky. And its chrome “color” was unlike anything I’d ever seen in the sky.

If the light was fading because it was moving farther away from me then the light was heading to outer space. From my location to the light’s location and angle, if it moved away from me it would be vectored towards outer space.

It was like a cross with angle arms one bright light and red light above it. It was outside and I saw it, shocked and came inside to grab my phone and when I was pointing at it, it went further into distance but stood near my home.

I went outside to front and as I moved from one end of the house to the other it moved as it if was following me, and I had my mother witness. There were about 4 around or near my house.

Moving blinking bright to dim object heading towards mountains, seen from Baldwin Park, CA

Went outside to see if I can watch some last minute fireworks throughout the city so I was scanning the sky. From my location looking towards Mount Wilson which is north of me in Baldwin Park, CA, what caught my eye was a bright light I thought it was a shooting star at first but it just got bright almost near the brightest star and it dimmed down. I thought no that's not a shooting star, then I thought was it a satellite? no I continued tracking it it was headed in a straight line towards north east.

It got really dim especially cause the light pollution and the smoke from the fireworks but i could still make it out that it was going in a straight line. What happened that it grew bright again and dimmed, when I continued watching it it continued to go bright and get dimmed, so it would go bright like a star then dim to almost unseen, I even lost it for a bit, but since it continued in a line I could just make out where it should be, but I also noticed that it seems to go farther in the distance. It just was really weird never seen anything like that. what it did was go bright then dim right away then travel maybe 3 or 4 sec then repeat about 3 times then I lost it then it did it again but lost it cause I guess it either was too far or it flew fast away or just stopped blinking. so at a count of one its bright then one sec dim then 3 or 4 count dimmed. but it was really bright that's why to me it was a UFO cause I never saw anything like that, it was not a plane cause it had one light and it was really small almost invisible when not lit. The color was like star light color and bright.

We walked outside and there was something that looked like a fireball in the sky.

It fell downwards for a while and then expanded sort of like a mushroom cloud it was bright cors shaped like a round bubble almost then it stopped being bright and turned into a rock like object and disappearded into what looked like it was about to make impact and rxplosions but there was no impact.

Driving home at night on the 10 freeway eastbound passing Baldwin Park Ca saw three red lights in the sky forming a triangle.

It was me and my 5 year old son driving home from my cousins house in Baldwin Park CA. I left his place around 9:30pm. I hoped on the 605 freeway soutbound to get the 10 freeway east. Right when I entered the 10 freeway I noticed these three red lights forming a triangle. I thought to my self what the heck is that my son immediately saw the lights too and was like, "What's that, daddy?" "I don't know,: I replied. as we got closer to the lights I lowered my window to see if I could hear the propellers of a helicopter our the engines on a plane nope! There was no noise coming from this lights.

As we continued to look at this red lights in amazement the two lights on the side moved forward and was no longer a triangle but a straight line. As we passed the light I exited the freeway and was going to turn back so I could follow it and try to record it on my phone. I exited the freeway and tried to make my way back I went over the 10 freeway on a bridge and could see the lights, the two lights on the side just dimmed away and the middle light was the only one left and was also dimming away. I didn't want to follow it anymore so I went home.

In 1958, an eleven year old girl sees a cigar shaped saucer hovering near her home.

I was about 11 years of age, lived in Baldwin Park on a dead end street, there was a huge area across the street which was fenced off, there was a large hole there and machinery for breaking down stone and such, we called it the rock crusher. I was out in my front yard and just looking around and at the area where the rock breaking machiner was, and I saw a long, cigar shaped craft not far off the ground and it was huge. I rather remember it being brownish-red in color. I never mentioned it to anyone, after all I was eleven and who would believe a child and even adults are not often believed. I have never spoken about it, let alone written about it. Reading reports and making note that there are cigar shaped crafts made me decide to make mention of the fact that I had, in fact, seen one. This was quite a long time ago and, since I was a child, I cannot readily remember how long it was there. I do remember, however, that it was hovering, standing still in the air and that it was huge. I think I saw what appeared to be windows as well and they appeared down the length of the craft. Since it has been over forty years ago and I was rather young, that is about all I can recall of the event.

I am sure it was not a dirigible or blimp or baloon. It was very low in the horizon as I remember and it was more longish rather than roundish as a blimp tends to be, although I have seen blimps with lights that could have fooled one into believing that they something else until seen clearly. It was quite a long time ago and I have always remembered it as I have always been one to read books on UFO, science fiction, mythology, theology, etc. I am a bit higher than normal in intelligence and I don't imagine seeing things so far. I am not great in remembering names, but extremely good at remember faces and events, some events are almost cellular and/or visceral in their recall; remembering conversations, emotions, scenes of events, textures, etc.

What I recall was a longish, cigar shaped (which really threw me because all the movies about UFOs showed disk shaped objects - War of the Worlds) object suspended not too far off the ground, at horizon level, it was rather flat there, unlike where I live now (not too far from the Hollywood Hills). It appeared to be a brownish red color and really long. I didn't stick around too long and, more than likely, went inside. Uncommon events tend to make one unsure of the true nature of things and since I was only about 11 years of age, I had nothing to relate what I saw to. I tucked it away in my memory banks and there it has stayed until I started reading some of the sightings listed on your site. I never realized others have seen flying cigars also. Cigar, in my mind, is the best way to describe what I saw then. Rather bizarre.
