Bright white light, no noise, lower in sky over neighborhood. Changes direction, stops & winks out.

My fiancée and I were out on a walk through our quiet residential neighborhood in Goleta last night when we observed a single, very bright light hovering over the neighborhood. There was absolutely zero sound. The light had what appeared to be a halo of light extending out from it visibly. It appeared to be much lower in the sky than a plan, but higher than a drone. It was a very quiet night and we could hear nothing but normal nature sounds in the background. I have a video that my fiancée took from our phone and will try to post. The scariest thing about this light was that it definitively STOPPED, moved again and changed direction as we walked. It kind of seemed to mirror when we stopped and changed direction. The it was just suddenly gone….don’t know if it turned lights off or sped off. There have been people posting about seeing this same thing in our local neighborhood online neighborhood watch site. I’ve read at least 5-6 comments as of today on it! Site: https://next door.com. (Zip 93111). On video the white light appears to cycle into a few colors, although we couldn’t see that with the naked eye.

Multiple sightings of a triangle with still lights flying by low and at a fast rate of speed and a boomerang type of craft with no lights

I work as a paramedic in Santa Barbara County night shifts. Around 2:30 in the morning I was looking up the windshield and I saw what it look like a triangle with lights fly pretty low to the ground right over the ambulance. Right after that, I saw what it look like may be a shooting star, but I’ve seen shooting stars in the past, and this was not a shooting star. We worked our way to downtown Santa Barbara East Beach along with my partner and we were looking up in the sky, looking for anything else. When we saw what it looked like a boomerang fly silently no wind no noise right above us. Almost look like a moving shadow with no lights.

We saw it for about seven seconds before it disappeared. We called another ambulance, which is my coworker and her partner to come witness this with us when we saw the same craft looking like a boomerang multiple times maybe about 10 times about 25 to 30 minutes apart throughout the night until 0500 hrs. The interesting thing is the first sighting that I saw in Goleta with the triangle with the bright lights flying over the ambulance, I never saw that exact same one throughout the night. They all appeared as boomerangs with no lights. After seeing them multiple times downtown Santa Barbara east beach to be exact, we went back to Goleta California to finish up the night when I looked up, and I saw two more of those boomerang shaped crafts, with no lights hover above us before they disappeared. My coworker who is coming in that morning to work the day shift was able to witness two of those crafts that morning. Including myself, it was a total of five witnesses that we saw these crafts.
Some of those boomerang shadows once they pass by, there was like a shooting star type of thing right after. A bright light travel fast and disappeared.
I’ve seen UFOs when I was younger and small little lights in the day. But nothing where I can see the shape of a ship type of thing hover above us silently at a high rate of speed.

I attempted to record video open nothing with him, because there’s no lights on these boomerang type of ships that my camera would catch.

UFO Goleta Isla Vista Hovering Over The Ocean 1/5/20

On Sunday January 5th 2020 at about 7:45 PM. There was a white sphere hovering over the ocean. Object could be seen from the beach in Isla Vista and from the hills in Santa Barbara. Was neither The Moon nor Venus. Object was not a plane landing at Santa Barbara Airport either. Object seemed to hover for about 40-45 minutes and then proceeded to enter the ocean quickly and abruptly. There was a plane flying around over Isla Vista doing several loops for about 20 minutes when this object was in the air. That pilot might have been aware of the object and extremely likely the pilot witnessed the bright white sphere hovering out over the ocean. We could not judge distance or size of the object due to the black night sky other than we can say it was over the ocean. There is video footage of the object taken from the hills of Santa Barbara. Unfortunately the person filming did not take good footage and the clip is short and at times out of focus. Very curious if an! ybody else saw this object. I have yet to find any info or reports on the object. I am versed in astronomy, physics, and have flown planes. When first observation of the object, we suspected a helicopter or plane, yet the characteristic of the high degree of intensity of the white light and silence factored a more curious examination. Watching the object fly into The Ocean convinced me it was indeed a UFO of some sort. I have combed the Internet for any reports of the object. The only thing found was a youtube video that left much to be desired. So I am logging this report into the database.

Massive Black Rectangle craft hovering in place above fog over pacific ocean.

I observed this craft from a high mountain range elevation. Looking south this massive craft was hovering just above the cloud line. Approximate size would be that of intercostal container ship. Surface appeared to be rough, similar to basalt. Large square chunks composing the entirety of the mass. This was an incredibly powerful sighting and I could feel its energy. I could not believe what I was experiencing. I just stared and watched for what seemed like 5 min. Then time became a little fuzzy and then it was no longer there. I was fortunate to experience this but it has left me incredibly confused due to the lack of similar sightings. I have nothing to relate it to.

Four daylight orbs ascending

Weather conditions are cloudless, minimal haze, 5 knot westerly wind. While in between games at my daughter's softball tournament I had a very brief thought of the 12 different anomalous flying objects I witnessed over a nine week period last fall. This thought prompted me to have a glance at the sky. All I saw was blue sky and one jet ascending out of LAX. A moment later I looked up again to the east and saw what at first thought seemed like four helium balloons ascending separately a few hundred feet apart at an estimated 500 feet elevation.three appeared white and one had a dark metallic color. Their trajectories at first were consistent with helium party balloons. After three or four minutes watching the objects had receded from orb shape to point light sources and three of the four collard a convergent path while the fourth remained at a distance. It was at this point that I expected the objects to appear as black dots and plane out with the upper level! winds if they were balloons. Instead they appeared more and more as light sources getting continuously further away. After ten minutes of continuous watching the lights were not discernible.

Nine sightings in two months over Goleta/Santa Barbara

In the past two months, I have witnessed no fewer than nine anomalous objects in the skies above Goleta/Santa Barbara.

Three of the sightings were daytime and six were at night. The daytime sightings included an object that shifted in appearance from circular soap bubble to jet shape to white ovoid over the course of three minutes and another that appeared as a small plane missing its wings, while the third appeared as a lenticular cloud just offshore on an absolutely clear and cloudless day. In over thirty years in the area I have seen lenticular clouds only once (over the coastal mountain tops of course). The night sightings included; one close up of triangular shape approximately 1000 feet overhead that seemingly accelerated into the outer atmosphere, the second had no discernible shape in the dark but had two amber lights of magnitude -4, fore and aft, flying at prop plane speed, the others were point sources of white light moving at unusual velocities (not satellites) or flashing (again, not satellite flashes which tend to be slower and periodic in their changes of magnitude).

Third Goleta sighting in five weeks.

My daughter and I were driving home at dusk heading west. I was telling her about the virtues of looking up quite a lot. One sees all sorts of things; bugs, birds, stars, satellites, etc. I decided to glance up out of the side window of the car and saw an aircraft seemingly triangular in shape. The dusky light made it difficult to discern an actual shape. There were three lights on the object; one on the nose of bright white magnitude -7 appearance, one at each "wingtip", port side red, starboard side amber, each of similar magnitude to the front light. At first the object seemed to be a fighter jet at an approximate altitude of 500 ft traveling directly over the suburb of Goleta. It traveled over the top of our vehicle on a banked trajectory at which point I told my daughter to look up and out of her side window. She immediately located the object and noticed that only the wing lights remained visible but in a matter of seconds appeared white in color. There were no flashing lights. The object's trajectory became due north and, instead of planing off as a typical jet aircraft will do, the object seemed to maintain a strait line up at about 10 degrees and continued due north becoming seemingly a hundred miles away in a matter of thirty more seconds or so. It eventually curved a bit before disappearing still well above the northern horizon.

Jet with landing lights traveling sideways.

I was finishing dinner at the backyard table with my son and a friend's son. At 36* elevation looking NNE a flying object was traveling approximately 500 mph at 30K ft. or the radial ratio equivalent at an unknown altitude. The trajectory was east, just touching on south. This is directly toward Pt. Mugu from my location in Goleta.

The object had a front and rear light of equal brightness magnitude -5, brighter than Venus at maximum, amber in color. There was no noise associated with the object.

At first it looked like a low flying jet with landing headlights traveling sideways. I did not observe any flashing lights or the red and green wing lights so obvious to anyone on a flight path. It did seem as though there were smaller lights in between the two large ones but I couldn't really tell. The object ( lights) faded away after about one minute.

Triple metamorphosis

I am a lifelong skywatcher and have seen many ufos. This event was unique in that the object metamorphosed. It happened as follows: After a long day of work I accompanied my kids to the community pool at 4:00 pm. While the kids were swimming I was laying on my back in the grass. After a few minutes I observed what looked like a 6 inch soap bubble a hundred feet or so off the ground.

After twenty seconds the object transformed into what looked like a small jet at 10,000 feet more or less. After fifteen seconds the object became a white dot that faded into the blue sky. The trajectory of the object was a strait line until it disappeared. The direction of the object was southerly, toward Point Mugu, which is an area having multiple sightings per month seemingly exiting and entering the Pacific Ocean.

Common thought relates these sightings to the mysterious booming sounds heard centered around Alhambra (LA). It is hypothesized that an undersurface excavation is occurring under Los Angeles. Food for thought?

White orb that turned into cross like light.

My husband and I live near an open field that faces Goleta Airport. We just moved here not long ago and I have seen 3 sightings of strange objects at night near the airport. Two of the sightings contained a white orb. It hovered in the center of two trees, went to the right, and then back to the center and stayed for a couple minutes before lowering into the tree line where I could no longer see it. This happened on two separate nights.

On 4/15 the orb then turned into a cross like shape. This time I had my husband look at it, and we were both watching in amazement because it was clearly not an airplane. I can’t determine whether it was “alien”, but it was definitely an unidentified flying object.

There were two other incidents that were different but still not explainable. About a month prior (3/25) my mother came to visit and went outside to smoke before bed (around midnight). She asked me to come outside and look at the sky. I can’t explain it, and have never seen anything like it in my entire life. Over one section of the sky above my house, the sky was lit up like daylight and had a pink hue to it. It was cloudy and bright/pinkish in color. The rest of the sky was completely clear and pitch black. We were both so disturbed by it that we went inside.

The last event was at around 13:00 on 4/2/16 and I saw another strange object in the tree line. This looked like a craft with two lights. One white light was on each side and that was all I could see. I woke my husband up and we watched this craft just hover without moving for a few minutes between the trees. Then is slowly stayed in a straight line and moved to the right until it was out of our view.

I am unsure of what is going on around here. I stay up late, and look outside often because I have floor to ceiling windows and doors in every room. I have never seen so many strange occurances in such a short period of time. I wonder if there are experiments going on at the airport? I can’t imagine that being the case because it is public airport, but I have no other way to explain what could be going on.

Fireball shoots across early evening sky for a minute and half over the city of Los Angeles.

Sitting in my backyard patio at twenty past dusk talking to a friend on the phone: I saw what appeared to be a slow meteor. I would estimate a velocity of under 20K km/hr but greater than 5K km/hr. The fireball appeared over the coast range of mountains to the northeast at an elevation of about 25 degrees.

It proceeded on a level trajectory for a very long minute and a half or so to the SSE. It did not dim or brighten until the end of the ionization track at which point the somewhat fuzzy ion track appeared to break up and spray out a little as it dimmed and went out. This ion source did not leave a trail of any kind, it burned through the sky and was gone. Other fireball meteors I have seen have left ion trails and sometimes smoke trails. This one didn't. Would this suggest a (nuke power perhaps?) satellite reentry? Most likely not as I would expect a significant glowing smoke trail at this time of day. Having witnessed multiple rocket launches from Vandenberg I know very much what they look like going up.

Surroundings: Goleta Beach State Park, between 10:10 pm PST and perhaps 10:30 – not sure of the exact time. (No watch.) This park is on the ocean, and also within approx. 1 or 2 miles of the local airport.

I was facing the ocean, which is southerly here, looking towards the west. I was on a bicycle and riding slowly.

There was – I’m not sure now – I believe a small plane behind me; it was headed out toward the ocean, away from the airport, which is in the northern direction from the beach and the ocean. I believe this plane had flashing lights.

Suddenly, directly above the horizon and relatively near - a bright light came into view. It was travelling at an unusual speed – not extremely fast and yet…steady, i.e., not slow. This light flashed on very bright and NOT on a plane. It then went out. It then – within seconds – came on again. And then…went out again. This was from my left to my right – it travelled. And also, it was headed north to south, towards the ocean.

At first I thought the lights from the small plane had illuminated a seagull. But it could not possibly have been. It was flying too fast, and it was emitting its own light.

Then, I thought perhaps it was a comet. However, it went out – which may have been like a comet. But then it came on again. And then went out again.

This happened the night before last night. I was tired and did not have your call in number at home, when I arrived home. Also, my tendency was to explain it away. However, at the time, I kept telling myself. “Look – this is different. You have seen something that you don’t know what it is.” Also, the lights from the plane…I don’t think they could have lit up a seagull. Also, it was a little too fast for a seagull.

To me, it was completely anomalous. So, I made a note to write to you. Unfortunately, I didn’t keep all of the details in my mind. There was no visible craft – but it was its own light. Anyway, if it was an object – such as a small meteor – I don’t understand how it could have gone out and then turned on again. It was just not normal. Thank you.

Bright orange sphere seen over El Capitan State Beach 8/7/12

As we were camping at El Capitan state beach in CA. While at our camp site stargazing at 9:10PM, My wife noticed a bright object approach from the east over some trees over some camp sights appx 100-200 ft in the airwith no sounds what so ever. As it hovered over the tree tops it was a very bright orange (sunlike)with lights (blue,green) underneath. It hovered for appx 3-4 minutes. While hovering the glow proceeded to dim. The bright light turned into a small point type light. It turned slowly while hovering due southeast it started to cruise slowly and the light blinked twice, then completely disappeared flying southeast over the ocean.

Iam fairly intelligable person and have never seen any type of aircraft that would handle like that.

I was in Goleta, California, heading to my campsite right past the Bacara Resort now they changed the name to the Ritz at the dead end where the oil rig gate is i got past the gate going West to the trail that leads to my campsite and i saw a Green Fireball 3ft diameter with a short tail 100 feet off to my right (North) flying horizontally going West 40feet above the train tracks it sounded like the wind hitting a softball when it flies thru the air. It lit up my whole visual area unusually bright a color of green that i have never seen before. It passed right by lasted 4 or 5 seconds. It was definitely flying a horizontal flight path. I saw it from 100 ft away i got a close-up breif look at it. It was an awesome experience.

I was outside smoking a cigarette starring at the sky towards the direction of the channel islands and I saw a large black triangle flying very fast across the sky. It was flying parrallel to the coast flying from south to north, maybe headed to Vandenberg AFB? It had 5 large white glowing lights underneath in the shape of a V. It's my first black triangle sighting and it was awesome!!!!! I've seen lights in the sky before and gold and metallic craft before, even during the day but this was the best one so far!!!

Object left Earths atmosphere within 5 seconds

Goleta, CA Looking at the roofline of this house, I noticed an object flying past the sun (the sun was to the left on the fireplace chimney when standing on the right side of the front yard. looking back over the roof to the South). The object appeared to be about 1/100th or 1/150th the size of the sun. It flew from the point I first noticed the object latterly at approx. 40-degrees (in the skyline), west to east for 30 seconds. At this time the object flew across the skyline and appeared to fly faster yet while ascending up to the stratosphere from a 90-degree angle straight up at which time it grew to less than the size of a balloon. It took approx. 5 seconds from the 90-degree turn for it to disappear. It was last seen heading NE to NW over the Santa Barbara coastal mountains.

As it crossed closest to my view it appeared bright white to bright gray. It looked to be a skinny triangle with one appendage coming off the top and it appeared to be fluttering and not flying. It resembled a boomer rang, but flying sideways with both points closest to the ground.

10 to 15 minutes after I saw the object I noticed what appeared to be 2 military fighter jets in the same vicinity.

While outdoors with a child I saw what appeared to be a long oblong-shaped cloud; because of its length, its nearness to the ground, its symettry and the lack of fuzzyness around its edges I went inside, grabbed my camera, and returned.

The cloud was already beginning to dissipate and change shape. As I pointed the camera a thin rectangular shape began to appear, slice across the cloud and emerge as if being shoved. As it exited, the cloud appeared to fill in the space left behind.

At that point I had to take the child inside and when I was able to return several minutes later the u.f.o. was gone.

I was intentionally looking in the sky for ufos and this was the first time I had seen these in the day time. I usually see them as lights at night, assuming they are the same ones...? At first I was watching a plane and then I notice a bright white dot behind it and I knew what it was. It started to move parallel to the mountains headed west I think, north bound if it was a car on the 101. It was so far away I could'nt really give you a distance but it was behind the plane and it was a small dot so I am assuming pretty far away, a mile maybe?? As I was watching that move across the sky from a stand still I saw another dot materialize in an area of the sky the first one had just crossed and started to watch the second one start to move west also. Then I noticed another one in a different part of the sky standing still. One of them dissapeared.... WOW!!!!!!!!! I called my mom over and she saw them too but barely... It was really hard to see them up there so unless you are looking for em or they get your attention they are very hard to see... I frantically ran around looking for my cheap $20 binoculars. They magnify 10x25 so it wasn't much help but when I looked through them at one of the ufo's and it was close enough to see that it was definetly a very shiny metallic craft and it looked like a cluster of about three to five spheres!!!!!!!!!! this is truely amazing and I am so excited that they are coming here but for what reasons? I think we will all find out soon enough...........I hope... this world needs change!!! BADLY!!!!

Sometimes they just cruise with there lights down low then they will flash you with a bright light. Its like "they" have a dimmer switch inside and they slowly increase the brightness of the "craft". They fly in and out of the atmosphere and are always up there watching......... they sit still or move slow or fast, whatever they will. I think its pretty cool... maybe we will all get to meet them some day... soon?

Hi, Thanks for this service. I believe this may be an explainable event, however, I do not understand it. Above you use the word "craft", which does not apply (that I know, anyway). About 11:30 pm, I was riding my bike on a bike path and saw a blue and green glowing (as on fire, except it was blue green) "patch" or object streak at a low angle. Let me try to describe it another way. I would have thought it was a meteor, and in many ways it acted like a meteor, except for the following : 1) The "appearance" or Burn started relatively low in the sky. I do not understand, if it was a meteor why it would be so low before it looked like it began to "burn". 2) I know it was low in the sky, because the mountains here rise rather abruptly in this area. I was at sea level, and the mountains aer several thousand feet north of where I was - in front of where I was. I had my bike helmet on, thus further obstructing the amount of overhead sky I could have seen. The object "appeared" - began to "burn" suddenly, as though it was just entering the atmosphere. I hope this makes sense. However, the thing is, this occurred so low - it didn't make sense to me. Also, the color - definitely blue and green. At first I thought "it must be like I've heard of frozen ice falling out of airplans" because this area where I was biking is near the airport and near the flight path. 2) I went back the next night to the same spot to recreate what I would have been able to see from where I was riding, given my helmet, given the mountains, etc. 3) Also, perhaps meteors do this, I don't know...but it was at almost a horizontal path. It was on a downward slope, but not a steep one, if this makes sense. Also it was definitely between me and the mounts, for example. I know this for sure. It seemed close. 4) Of course, something so unexpected, when time goes by, it's like you wish you could just rewind time so you could take better notes. and also 5) it seemed a little too slow to be a meteor, especially one tha! t low.

I mean, it happened quickly, in some ways, and yet, given how close it seemed, it seems to me if it was a meteor, it should have been moving faster.

On Thursday, August 11th, 2005 at approx. 12:25am, my roomate and I witnessed a bright, ominous flash in the sky. It looked whitish/bluish and It also made an almost booming sound. All the electricity in the house immediately went off, but then came back on again a split second later. This light was very intense, and it deifintely wasn't lighting.

bright sphere seen over Goleta holding still for several mins. then moving slowly towards outterspace.

I looked out of my kitchen window and up into the sky where a large plane happened to be flying very high up and I was thinking about "chemtrails" and thats when I saw a glimmer behind the plane. I havent seen "chemtrails" around for two months here but that afternoon there were a few over the mountains and thats why I had them on my mind. The glimmer was coming from what looked like a very bright orange, yellowish, golden sphere, that was very reflective and appeared to be changing colors. This thing was still for about 3 minutes and then slowly started drifting up and to the NE direction until it just disappeared into the sky. This isnt the first time I've seen UFO's over the Santa Barbara mountains.

Green orb hovered close above 2 story building on California coast

I don't remember the date of this sighting, but, I can make a guess. I would say the year of 2004. The person I was with during this moment is not available to ask if they recall the time and date. This person also did not see it.

It was night time. We were taking out the trash. You can see the trash can in the lower right of the screen shot I'm providing. I turned and saw this green orb above the building. I don't think I'm very good at measuring but I drew a picture over this screen shot. This is a 2 story apartment building that's still standing. I tried to draw the orb about the same distance from the roof as I could. I can not tell how big it might have been. I would say definitely bigger than one of the windows as shown in my picture. When I turned and saw it, I stood there in shock. I don't think it was very long, maybe no more than 5 seconds because the person I was with didn't see it. Next thing I knew, it went towards my left (I'm facing the apartment building) and I can't tell if it flew the direction of the length of the building or more headed towards the ocean. But as soon as it took off I ran down the alley. The person was asking me like, what are you doing, what's going on?! I ran down the alley non stop until I got to the street to see the sky, at the end of the building. I didn't see the object anywhere. The person didn't see a thing and I always wish he had seen it. The time frame estimate is based on the fact that I had a baby in June of 2005. This was before I found out, or early on in the pregnancy, or i may not have been pregnant at the time of this sighting. So this was around 20yrs ago. It feels like yesterday, even though the exact details are not as memorable. I never stopped wondering, and I watched investigation alien which is why I'm here. I now live near Vandenberg Space Force Base where others claim to have seen things and I have yet to again.

I was getting a ride home from a restaurant and we pulled into my driveway. I got out of the car and looked down the street and I saw 3 white lights (The color of car headlights) in a triangular shape in a still position. After about 20 seconds it moved towards the ocean. I didn't hear any sounds and the lights didn't rotate when it started to move so it couldn't have been a plane.

Driving home 101 N. in between Goleta & Gaviota Ca Half mile out in the ocean.

I drive to school three times a week on the 101 south bound to oxnard. i sometimes notice a bright light that hovers in the goleta are about half mile into the ocean and i car pull so i do have witnesses. this appears to be very bright and very close then in a couple of seconds it was very far about ten miles in about 5 sec. it seemed like it was heading towards Vandenburg AFB. i have seen this many times and at about 9 pm to 12 midnight. there are no blinking lights that i seeing just one bright light and it apears to hover in a smooth straight line then speed off in a blink of an eye.

California Highway Patrol officer reports lengthy sighting of peculiar, metallic-appearing disc in the morning sky over Goleta, CA.

NUFORC was contacted by an employee of the Federal Aviation Administration, inquiring whether we had received any reports from sources in California, describing a peculiar, metallic-looking, disc-shaped object in the morning skies in the vicinity of Santa Barbara. The employee provided us with the name and telephone number of the individual with whom the FAA had spoken, a CHP Officer, who had described to them his alleged sighting earlier in the morning.

We spoke with the officer at length (25 minutes), and he described having witnessed a very bizarre-looking, disc-shaped object in the skies above "the freeway" in the vicinity of Goleta, CA. The officer that he had witnessed the object for an estimated 30 minutes, and that he had reason to believe that several of his family members had also witnessed the same object from a different location in Santa Barbara.

The officer stated that he first thought the object might be some type of kite, but then abandoned that notion, as he continued to watch it. The object was circular in appearance, and it was "tumbling, end over end." He was facing north, and the object was moving to the north, away from his location, probably passing over the Santa Barbara beach. He assumed that other reports might have been submitted to the Santa Barbara Police or Sheriff, although those two offices reported that, to the best of their knowledge, no reports had been submitted to them.

Please see sighting report from Laguna Niguell, CA, located south of Los Angeles, for same time and date. The five witnesses there described a similar disc, which moved to the southwest over the beach there, and apparently to the northwest, in the general direction of Vandenberg AFB.

3 bright objects in triangle formation seen moving across the night time sky near Goleta Ca. at Refugio Beach Campground 11:30pm

We were camping at Refugio Beach State campground for the week, our first night we were looking to see metors/comets and satelites. The camp fire had died down and you could really see the milky way and all the stars in the sky. It was around 11:30pm when three of us pointed out what we thought was a satelite and then realized we were seeing three seperate objects in a trianglar formation moving aross the sky. They appeared to be satelites because of the altitude they were at, but what made us think they were not satelites beyond the fact satelites are not orbiting the earth in formation. was that the far right object would change speed as the triangle formation moved across the sky. They appeared as bright objects and there were no running lights that we could distingush. We continue to watch them as the disappeared out over the horizon of the Pacific Ocean. We kept looking every night til we left for our homes, but never saw the same formation of objects in the sky. The group that saw this are all full time working parents with childern and have been camping at this location for over a decade and have never seen anything like this before. If there is a explanation for what we saw, I would like to hear it.

We would have conjectured that the objects were part of the U. S. Navy N.O.S.S. satellite system, which apparently are launched in triplets. However, satellites do not course to the west, and the witness has suggested they were seen going in that direction. We do not know what it was they witnessed. PD

I was working at a small start-up company, only a few employees. My coworker first spotted the UFO and called me outside to observe it with him. Looking straight over head into a clear sky we observed a UFO in perfect geostationary position. It looked round (disc-like) and metallic (aluminum). There were features to the underside (concentric structure). The sun shone brightly on one side of the UFO, the underside exhibited shadow.

It was impossible, not actually know the diameter of the UFO to know its altidude, but it "appeared" to many thousands of feet in the air, somewhat below where the commercial aircraft fly. We watched for several minutes as the UFO stayed perfectly stationary.

At some point my coworker (ex-air force) pointed to an approaching jet from the South-East (Port Hueneme air force jet?) vectored directly at the UFO. Simultaneously, another jet was approaching from the North (Vandenberg?) also vectored directly at the UFO. While the jets were still many miles out, the UFO began to ascend straight up, as witnessed by a rapidly decreasing appearance in size, into the clear sky, to the point where we could no longer see it. It went straight up, 5 seconds, and was gone.

Chased by Grays in Santa Barbara in 1967

In Goleta California, on More Mesa, in 1967, in June, a friend of mine and I decided to walk over to More Mesa Beach, which was about one mile from our homes. It was about 8 or 9 pm, and as we were walking towards the sea, we could feel a presence or something. I turned around to look behind me, and I saw 7 to 11 little bipods who looked like penguins. They appeared to be about 3 feet tall, and the reason the reminded me of penguins were because they had no ears, and there was a V-shape lighter color on their chests, like the coloring of penguins. I turned to my companion, who was also 16, and said, “ Don’t look now, but we are being followed” My friend stopped and turned to look, and I said, “Do you see what I see?” and he said yes, and I said, “ Let’s run” and so we did, we ran until we were wore out, about a quarter of a mile, ( which is strange because we both did track sports well ) and we turned and faced the strange guys following us, and we were breathing really hard, and I noticed they were not breathing hard at all. They looked at us, and then walked, single file, around us and disappeared into a coyote bush, by the side of the dirt road we were walking on. We caught our breath, and we ran to the edge of the cliffs overlooking the sea. We sat down and talked about our strange experience, and then we decided to go back to the bush and attempt to talk to them. We did that, and we heard nothing. They were gone, seemed like. We then got our senses back, and became very frightened, and hurried home. When I got home from what was a short hour walk to the beach, we discovered that we were missing at least 3 hours. I got in after 12:30 AM and was grounded. Other people saw things that night as well. My high school news paper wrote about it and said a lot of people thought they saw a UFO but it was a weather balloon. My little brother, who was 5 at the time saw it (the craft), and was so frightened that he ran and slept with the parents for a week. The man next door, who saw it, start! ed drink ing again. I have no recollection of seeing any craft; I have a healthy fear of grays and other alien creatures. My experience was also written about in Tom Dongo’s book, The Alien Tide. (pg 59) I apologize for reporting this some 40 years later. I am really frightened of the grays.
