Around 20 small dots of light, in a perfect line and evenly spaced, moving over Trinidad CO on January 14, 2020 at 7:00 pm

At exit 6 on I 25 (south of Trinidad, CO) I observed 20 dots of light moving across the crystal clear night sky. They were the size of an average star, and slightly brighter. They did not appear to be blinking and there were no red or green lights usually associated with plane. There was no sound. These dots were in a absolute straight line, and nearly perfectly spaced apart. One by one, as soon as they hit a certain spot in the sky, they would vanish (presumably obtaining sufficient altitude to disappear from sight?). They seemed to have originated from the south. My gut instinct was that they were military craft (drones?)and were being launched (possibly into orbit or very high altitude). There was no way to determine the size, as they could have been very small, very high or both. They just seemed the same size as a medium star. However, my impression was they appeared small because they were so high. Other cars pulled over to observe this event as well.! I'm very curious as to what they might have been, and if other people saw them.

Around 8:30PM at dusk 2 disc shaped, dull/ white in color flew side by side in a perfectly straight line from East to west in the southern sky at a very high rate of speed, well over the speed of sound suddenly stopped perfectly together and shot off dead south towards New Mexico. Though out the night we witnessed up to 50 of these discs dancing throughout the sky from a dull color and would light bright white when making sudden stops and cuts. At one point about 30-40 of these disc formed together, almost like a swarm of bees slowly moving from west to south eventually shooting dead south in a flash. I took 2 videos on my phone thinking it would not be powerful enough to capture the dull, silent fast disc...rechecking, I did capture them! Never seen anything like it.

UFO sighted at Trinidad, CA, out over water from the new Trinidad Pier....

Object was silver out over the water by the Trinidad Pier where my friend took a picture of the pier and noticed this object in his pic later that first looked like a saucer but with close up had protruding sides also he has this on his cell phone pictures and it's nothing we recognize.

A group of workers witness a strange light in the sky, which accelerates and departs vertically at very high speed.

Telephoned Report: A 57-year old man reported called via the Hotline to report that on Friday, September 12, 2014, he and a group of fellow co-workers were standing at a jobsite, when one of them became aware of a rapidly approaching light, which appeared to the witnesses to be unusual.

One of the witnesses, a former U. S. Navy sailor, trained in aircraft identification, suggested that the object might be an approaching helicopter, but that explanation was rejected by all the witnesses, given the apparent absence of any sound coming from the object.

The object slowed, and then suddenly accelerated, appearing to the witnesses to depart vertically at very high speed.

The caller declines to submit a written statement about the sighting, expressing fear of reprisal from the U. S. government.

Orange/red star like spheres seen in Trinidad, CA.

While watching stars on my deck, I noticed a bright orange/red star at low altitude move slowly from the Pacific Ocean towards the east near my house. The body was orange/red (with spikes of light, like a star) with a faint light (cone) shape in front of the aircraft. It was moving slowly in a straight line.

Then seconds later, 3 more objects moved in the same direction as the first one. They looked the same as the first one, and but they had a faint cone of light surrounding them. I could hear a subtle engine noise. They were all about 1,000 feet in the air.

Then a fifth one was seen, moving in the same direction as the other 4. At first I thought they were balloons, but they moved faster than balloons, and I don't think balloons will come from the ocean onto land, nor travel at night. There was really no wind to speak of.

They all disappeared from sight when traveling eastward from my direction. The lights didn't blink, nor were any normal colors seen (white, blue). What struck me the most was the bright orange/red color, and the cone of light surrounding the main body of light. My best guess is that they were drones, but if so, why fly 5 of them in the same flight path? I was able to take photos, and also recorded some of the objects with my digital camera.

I was with my grand son and husband when I saw it and thought it was a planet or a satilate until it took off real fast. My husband and grand son said it was an airplane then it vanished before our eyes. The object was heading south.

The flight pattern of the five reddish orange lights were west or northwest at about a 20 to 30 degree angle.

I would like to start this "reported sighting" letter with the statement, I, or we, my 12 year old son and I, aren't looking for any special status or "pats-on-the-back" for what we viewed. Nor do we want to be thought of as, "out of our minds" for saying anything at all. We simply saw what we saw, and just want to report it.

To add a little validity to our report our backgrounds are: My son - 12 going on 13 real soon, an "A-" student, 7th grade, athletic, only child at home.

Myself - Retired Air Force, aviation was my career for 22+ years, aircraft mechanic 6 years, aircrew member, flight engineer, cargo and air refueling aircraft the last 16 years. I worked in the airline/aviation industry for seven years after retirement from the Air Force. I did finish college a few years after I retired. Aviation Management with a minor in Aviation Safety; took a few courses in accident investigation which taught a person how to question and evaluate an "eye witness" to an event.

The sighting took place on the night of May 10th, 2010 at approximately 21:40, (9:40 pm) PST. We were outside enjoying a wood fire in a small mobile home park in Trinidad, CA. A clear night, the rains had just gone through earlier in the day. There is a small airport just south of our location about 11 miles away.

My son and I were engaged in a conversation when I noticed a brighter than normal light coming up over the tree line just to the north of us. I wouldn't have paid much attention to it had it not been so bright. Initially, I thought it was a late night commuter flight arriving out of the north, but then I noticed it wasn't the normal color patterns of an aircraft, the green and red lights from the wing tips and the flashing anti-collision lights the FAA requires. The light pattern we saw was a reddish orange color, maybe a little yellow mixed in. And they weren't flashing. The colors were "glowing" or slowly pulsating. I questioned then whether it was an aircraft or one that I knew of anyhow. Granted, I've been out of the aviation field going on seven years now. I then noticed its movement.

It was moving a little quicker than the normal "prop" or small jet type aircraft that come into our local airport. And, it didn't appear to be one of the Coast Guards' rescue helicopters out on a night flight. All aircraft have a distinctive sound to them; there wasn't any sound at all coming from the sky. Just the occasional car or truck going down Hwy 101 and the rustling of the redwood trees from a slight wind. But then I figured it was too far away to hear. However, that would mean it was a large craft with the size they were and not being able to hear them. A couple of weeks ago, someone said that was Venus in the night sky that was so bright. I just noticed it was a very bright star or planet on a clear night. Compared to that, this light was at least twice the size.

We watched it for about 30 seconds or so, maybe a minute. It was traveling from our right to left which would be north to west or northwest direction. It was then we both noticed two more similar lights appearing from the same location over the tree line. Then a fourth one appeared following the two in front. All seemed to be going in the same direction. A tall redwood tree obstructed our view as we watched and I had my son move to his left to try and pick them up as they appeared from behind the tree. They never reappeared. He said," Papa, they disappeared!" About that time and I would say again it was around 30 seconds or so, a fifth light appeared, trailing all the others and moving in the same direction. We then moved our position to be able to watch the craft without obstructions from tall trees. We kept an eye on it and to our amazement, it all of a sudden got smaller and disappeared. Wow! is all we could say.

The direction of the flight pattern for the five reddish orange lights were west or northwest at about a 20 to 30 degree angle in the sky as referenced from the top of the tree line to the point where the last one disappeared. It all took place within a three to four minute time period I would guess, but I wasn't keeping track of the time while watching. I did happen to remember to ask my son what time it was when the last "light" disappeared.

I could only hope that others saw this and are reporting it. As a military flight crew member I could only describe a few of the "odd" things I saw throughout my flying career as, well, "odd." Now, at least in my mind, I have some creditable proof to maybe I wasn't seeing things.....

Shiny object hovering, egg shaped , silver moving back & forth in one spot for about 14-15 minutes at 1:45pm then vanished.

On June 8th, 2007 at about 1:45pm & 2:00 pm, I was looking out my kitchen facing Northwest towards a local peak known as Simpson's Rest. I noticed something revolving behind a tree like a child's top you spin on the floor. I watched it for a few minutes, as I watched it I noticed it was moving back & forth West to East. It came out from behind the tree that was obstructing my view, I was amazed to see the shape of this object. It was a bright silver and it was revolving mostly in the middle of the craft. It was shaped sorta like an egg, but more or less flattened from the top. It hovered in the same spot for about 8 to 10 minutes. It was moving back & forth for about maybe 3-5 minutes.

I grabbed my camcorder & filmed it while the view of it was still in my sight. It seemed to be staying ( hovering ) in one spot. It was just sitting there hovering a brilliant shine off it. I think the sun's rays was making it more shiny & gave it more detail. I went to grab another tape for the camcord, when I went back to film it. It was gone.

After this incident a few more incidents has happened.In the same area that I had observed my first sighting. I was driving on Nevada Avenue 10-days after my sighting. I noticed a craft moving from West to East over the mountain & then move back from East to West at a very calm speed. It keeped going in the direction towards Alamosa Colorado (Northwest). In 2007 when Colorado was hit by a massive snow storm for Christmas 2007 & the New Year of 2008. Several witnesses including myself observed a craft hovering Northwest of Trinidad, over a-little town known as Hoehne 10-miles out of Trinidad. The craft seemed to be studying our weather that fell on our town. It hovered in the same spot for about 3-5 minutes. It moved East to West, then it was gone. The area I had seen the first sighting is closed off to the public. No one is allowed up there, only certain vehicles & people are permitted up there. I was curious to go up & see if I could find anything from the first sighting. But they didn't allow me up there. I will be submitting my video on youtube later this summer of 2009.

I was on patrol in the county between Hoehne and Trinidad. I took a break on CR 83.1 and looked up at the stars. I observed a white light at what appeared to be a very high altitude, moving from West to East at an extremely high rate.

I could observe 4 aircraft moving within my field of view. Using the other aircraft as a reference, this object was approximately 90,000 to 100,000 foot altitude and traveling several thousand miles per hour. The object passed over head and then headed South by Southeast.

I thought that it could be the space shuttle, but the shuttle is still on the ground. It did not behave like a metorite the light remained steady the entire time.

silvery sphere with attached rectangle emerges from clouds and heads out over ocean

A rainshower had passed and I looked up into the sky and noticed a glow emerging from the dark clouds. The glow was akin to a headlight of a small aircraft and was dome shaped.

As I watched the object I alerted my wife to the object an as we watched it come closer (for now it was apparent that it was a "something" moving below the cloud layer) we saw it rotate until it looked like a sphere with a "box-like" attachment that was held by dark struts.

As the object passes over (about 2000 feet ?) we see it clearly and know that it was indeed an unusual craft composed of two basic geometric shapes flying westward toward the open ocean and against the oncoming storm system.

As the UFO continued west it changed into a dark shape that at times seem to "flutter" giving up the impression of a silouetted "egg" and then a dark rectangle. The UFO traveled in a straight line and at a steady but seemingly leisurely pace.

Object over Trinidad

i was traveling on the train heading southbound towards new mexico. I was looking at the sky, it was a clear day and we had just picked up a bunch of kids.

I noticed a reflection from an object in the sky. The object at first looked perfectly round and metallic but the more I stared it seemed to become transparent. I thought it was a weather balloon but I could not see any devices hanging from the bottom.

I watched the object and soon there were trees that slightly blocked my view of the object but I kept my eyes fixed on it until the trees passed. The trees were only there for 10 seconds tops and I could still see the reflection through the trees. But by the time the trees passed, the object was gone completely.

Planes were visible at the same time and traveled slowly in comparison to the dissappearence of the object. I was facing southeast at the time and if I am standing on the ground it would have been above me at an approximate 70-75 degree angle. A bit before this happened the train I was traveling on lost power for five minutes.

At first thought it was meteor but there was heavy cloud cover behind the path. It formed an arc from what looked like NE to SW of Trinidad.

Because of the overcast sky, I don't think it could have been a meteor/fireball even though that is what it appeared to be. I spotted the object as I traveled north on I-25 entering the southern edge of Trinidad, CO, in full daylight. The speed and path of the object reminded me of a military missile.

Satelite sighting, changing directions to quick for normal.

Young kids walking to school. This occurred when we were in grade school. I don't recall the exact year or month. Sometime, I think during the early 1970's, when the government decided to save fuel by having us go to school in the dark. We would walk to the school and it felt like the middle of the night. All of the stars were out and even a satelite once in a while would go across the sky, in a straight line. That is when we were surprised to be watching a satelite going straight but it turned and went different with no noticable change of pace. South to north, steady, and then make an absoulte right angle and go east. South to North and then an immeadiate right hand turn to the East. We just looked at each other and did not know any words to describe what we witnessed. We got to school and other kids were talking about the same thing. A satelite going as normal and then turning 90 degrees. Without changing speed or anything. Just going and turning and then gone when out of our range of vision.

No sound. No colored lights. Just like a star in the sky, like our satelites. Moving like a satelite. But turning to a right angle just like that.

We never knew what it was. We were just kids walking to school in the dark.
