Small orb with satellite like appendages, skinny barbs

Flying in Southwest Flight 2032 from Sacramento to OC John Wayne Airport we had just passed by Catalina Island, Had beautiful clear views for miles and has been enjoying the view, as we moved passed island i sat back n my seat on the right side of aircraft and looked out window toward the wing I was in about 5th row from back.

I saw a light , emerge below the wing out about 200 yards , I focused in on it it as we passed by it, I could see metallic spike antenna like things sticking out, of it the white light . The light was best guess, 1-3' tic tac shape and the 4+ spikes seemed about 6-7 times longer. It moved from my left to right and I couldn't recognize as anything I had seen before, I am a RPIC pilot, but the antennas on top 1set at 20 and 60 degrees. I didn't have time to really look down as we passed in around 3 seconds or less.

Immediately I asked the guy siting in front of me who I could tell had been looking out side and he confirmed. He first said light, then said maybe drone and he wanted to explain away but all the other planes ships etc were very clear and hard to mistake. He was questing why it was so close.

I had been taking photos but had just put my phone away , super clear calm still ocean below.

We were sitting outside looking up at the sky when we saw a small blink of light. After the flash of light that looked like a small star, there was a object that traveled North for a few seconds and then stopped. Once it stopped it made a 45 degree angle turn and shot out of sight. We had been using the CE5 tones at the time.

Unidentified Flying Object above Catalina Island, June 2015.

Sat on the beach with my wife at Desconso Bay on Fri June 26, 2015, and approx 200ft directly above us, saw what appeared to be a drone hovering.

Didn't think anything unusual until it took off directly out to sea (Easterly) at a speed that I would imagine to be too great for a civilian use drone.

It also continued until it was out of sight - I was under the impression that civilian use drones had to be used "within sight" as per FAA regulations - and I don't know what civilian use radio signal could possibly go that distance?

I am an aircraft mechanic an hold a Sports Pilot License and have no explanation as to what this could be...

A ufo was going around the sky then a uso watched us for a couple minutes.

An object over Indian rock moved unnatural speed back and forth for 3 min. Then it blinked out. A few seconds later it appeared under water a circle of blue light near a cliff and watched us for a couple minutes then streaked off under water Ps the dates could be a little off I forget when i went but i was with troop 537 on Catalina Island camp Emerald Bay.

Cherry valley cove on Catalina Island California right by the shore on the hillside.

What I saw was out towards the ocean north east. I was right on the beach. The sun was down but the sky was still light. I saw specifically a skinny beam of light that went east to west. It was skinny and looked far away. This beam of light stretched quickly in the sky from one end to another without fading and suddenly disappeared on both ends. There was no sound. If you stretched out your hand to the sky it went that stretch of distance. That is by best discretion & perspective of what I saw. Although it happened over 15 years ago while I worked at a scout camp I remember it very well.

Huge triangle object with big red pulsating lights

My wife and I were sitting on the bow of our boat tucking in from the wind and were looking at the sky for shooting stars. It was a mostly clear night with few clouds and we noticed a huge object coming from behind the island and flying from our right (EAST) to our left (WEST). It had large red flashing lights and was in the shape of a triangle. We could see the mainland and planes going to and from LAX and Long Beach which were so small in comparison I would say the object we saw was many many times larger, and silent. No sound at all. We watched it go from our far right to a cloud on the left side of our field of view. It never came out of the cloud. We can't explain why because we could follow planes from one end to the other and see them inside or behind the cloud whichever the case. The cloud was thin.

We were on a sailboat just east of Catalina staring up at stars trying to identify constellations when a fast moving object came up from the south and then suddenly paused as another object , identical in shape, size and color sped up behind the first and they resumed speed while veering northwest. The objects seemed to have a solid off-white light in the center with a pulsing lavender row of lights along the sides.

strobe ufo over catalina

if you can imagine looking straight over your head and seeing a large clock in the sky......it was shortly after dusk, i was at a boy scout camp at cherry cove on catalina island, we were all around a bonfire as the camp directors were doing some sort of presentation..dressed like indians rowing a canoe to shore...i cant remember if i was already looking or if it was the sounds of a couple other people noticing it first that drew my attention to the sky...the was a flashing object that was moving very fast...back to the clock int the sky....it was moving from 12 to 6 going what i belive to be south to north...when it got to what would be the middle of the clock it shoot straight out to the 3 oclock position then turned to go back towards the north...making like a chair pattern in football that the inly imiage i get in my head when i think about it...then it started to move all over in what appered to be no specific direcection travling what had to be great distances in a blink of an eye, changing directions even quicker...then it shoot off to the north off in to the horizion...it appeared to be hovering and spinning over the ocean and started to shoot things out from the top and bottom of the ship...?the flash was bright white....
