We saw an object that looked like a star vibrating in place and after a minute it went vertical into the sky. Then a minute later another one appeared in same area and dissipated then showed up again seconds later in the same vertical pattern going the same direction then dissipated into nothing.

Star formations moving in unison in a straight line for an hour.

Starting at 9:00PM us 4 saw 3 star looking formations in shape of an acute triangle moving over the sky in unison perfectly spaced from each other. Then following the triangle came about 20 more star formations followed in a straight line perfectly spaced. Then a pattern of straight ufos move along with triangles. It happened for 20 minutes in one direction then they would start in another direction. They kept coming like they were in orbit together lasting an hour. We found out they were not satellites.

Large orange orb hovering above neighbors house. Made no noise at all.

I was on the phone, I went outside to smoke and this huge bright orange/red orb seemed to be hovering above my neighbors house. It seemed so low, but I thought this can't be, this huge orange blinking orb right here? I was telling my cousin on the phone what I was witnessing. It scared me, so I went back inside. I never even thought about taking a picture.

Here's where it gets really weird. The following day I had zig zag scratches on my back and a mass near my spine. The scratches are gone, the mass is still there. I'm not sure if related, but they weren't there that night and were the next day. Scary.

I woke up early and took my dog outside, it was still dark and I was looking at the night sky when I though I saw a satellite, I watched it for a few seconds before it disappeared, I then noticed several more following in the same direction, all equal distant apart except for one which was flying to the right of the group, I counted ten in a row that were going North to South. The all looked like satelittes or stars (very high), no flickering from lights and they were moving too fast for an aircraft. I was an aviator in the US military for 30 years and have never seen anything like this.

Pulse boosting light

Partner and I having cigarette just after midnight. Clear sky but a considerable amount of light pollution. After we sat down I looked south into the night sky and saw what looked like a star at first but upon focusing my eyes better it looked like a dim fireball very far off in the distance at about 30* up from southern horizon. Looked like tiny fireball boosting leaving a tracer, breaking or slowing for an instant and then boosting again as if some kind of pulse propulsion. Had a tiny decline between pulses. It "boosted" about 6 times. So distant I had to look away and blink a few times to make sure I wasn't seeing a bug under a lamp etc. Incident occurred quickly over about 15-20 seconds and was gone. My partner watched the whole thing too. We both questioned our vision at first before I actually spoke up.

Large orange ball of light flys over Citrus Heights at rapid speed.

Sitting on back patio of apartment with husband. We looked up and saw an orange globe flying through the sky at a very fast rate. It was not a drone, helicopter or plane. The shape was a perfect circle and about the size of lime from our distance. So it would be much larger up close. Neither my husband or myself have ever seen a craft like this before. We live near two aircraft runways and a local airport so sky crafts are common and we would be very able to tell if this were any of those more common crafts.

Strange Object Flying over California's northern valley.

Over the night sky around 7:59-8:01 pm facing south I was standing in my driveway smoking a cigarette, when in the sky appeared a oval object that was descending rapidly north-west. It lasted in sight for no more then 3 seconds.

It had a orange fiery trail behind it,the frontal part of the descending object had a kinda opal glow on the front side as it fell. The sky was open in front of me no trees blocked my view,also it appeared as if the object had slowed its decent after a second of me noticing it,it had slowed by what I would calculate as 30-40% maybe the strange part was after only seeing it for a few seconds it vanished as if it had flown behind something I couldn't see, the trail of orange followed into the same absence of sight.

A mixture of excitement and sheer curiosity is the intent i am coming from let me say that first. My stance or perspective about my experience is "I dont know." But i definitely see a flying object, fairly close in altitude but can't tell really how far.

Flashing 3 or 4 white lights then in one instant red to Blue to green with no logical or specific path. In fact im looking at it as im writing this. First sight was early July late clear night off and on around the same time as the last one up until today 08/10/2016.

I started investigating on my own starting the end of month July up to present day. Unless objects just disappeared for whatever reason which is unlikely being that every night I see them generally in the same area but spread out as if strategically positioning themselves from all directions in my particular view (front porch). Every night after 1200am to 500am they will either hover still in same position for hours or IV seen them move very slowly at random times with no warning and or logical reasoning. Some are very high but some get very close. close enough to get a real look at its detailes perhaps. These lights/orbs/star-like pulsating flickering of blue red green yellow and white pulsating lights. They can look like bright stars or near by planets but I've done alot of reading and investigating to find a close enough report that resembles mine

Colored lights in the sky over Sacramento

Stationary object hiding behind the clouds. Pulsating color lights in the sky that repeated the same flashing pattern of red to purple to blue and green. It was very cloudy that night and I could see the lights illuminating behind the clouds. I watched it do this for approx. 20mins and then it switched from a flashing light reflecting in the clouds to a straight thin beam of light that flashed the same colors and in the same pattern. This was especially an amazing sight to see. It did this for another 10 minutes, or so, before I finally went inside.

Two lights traveling north in the western sky without sound that stop and fade out.

I was walking my parents out to their car at approximately 2330 on 2/13/14.

As we were standing in front of my house, which faces west, I saw an orange/amber colored light moving north. It was coming from behind the tree across the street when I first saw it.

At first I thought maybe it was a plane or helicopter, but there was no sound and the light was solid and there were no other lights flashing around it. It was large and oblong in shape.

It slowed down to less than half the speed it was traveling and then another light, exactly like it followed.

As the second light got closer to the first, they both began moving north at the same speed. They stopped and hovered in place.

I ran into the house to get my phone so I could record it. My parents stayed outside and watched the lights.

As I came back outside, I began recording the lights. The first light faded out, followed by the second light shortly after. Total recording time was 49 seconds.

Four fireballs move from west to east in the Sacramento sky.

I was leaving a friends house in Citrus Heights and driving north, when I looked up to find four fireball like objects that appeared to be burning in the sky. I thought it was something falling from the sky. At first glimpse it looked like a plane crash or something. I quickly pulled over to continue watching the action. When I looked back into the sky, the fireballs were still there. The scary thing was that they were not falling. They were flying across the sky from the west to the east and moving the same speed as a commercial airline would, only, the fireballs appeared to be flying at a lower altitude than a commercial airline would (hence the reason why I may have thought they were falling at first glimpse). They were however flying at a higher altitude than a helicopter might. The fireball in the leading position was flying about 30-60 ft. ahead of the other three. The three following all seemed to be mimicking the lead fireballs movements. The firebal! ls moved from Right to left in an arch formation, stopped, and then shot from that stopping point about the same distance as the arch in a diagonal line from bottom to top. The other three fireball were about 10-20 ft. apart from each other like they were playing follow the leader. This all happened in approximately 1-2 minutes and then they continued on east until unseen. The leader was almost already unseen while the other three were still making the formations. It was a very exciting and interesting experience. I have never seen anything like it before.

Around 8:45 on Thursday March 7, 2013, I was walking my dog in Citrus Heights and I noticed a bright red-orange ball with a whitish light on the bottom moving slowly in I believe a southwest direction.

I didn’t think anything of it- then I saw another one and another one and another one. All spontaneously showing up and following the same path, equidistant apart, going the same rather slow speed. I’m not sure now if I saw 5 or 6 I started fumbling with my phone trying to take pictures.

They seemed to be moving in an upward direction and then 1 by 1 they disappeared from view.

6 shiney metallic sphears in formation, that was maintained through turns,crossing the sky fo10 to 15 minutes.

Febuary 3, 2012 UFO sighting approximately 2:00pm 2/2/2013.

The location was over Citrus Heights, California, and witnessed by neighbors along with us. What I saw was a formation of round shiney objects, 6 total, that were very high up in the sky. They were slowly moving from a northeast direction that made a perfect "L" turn that changed the direction to the north.

The front 3 objects made a perfect triangle and the fourth was in the rear. Two others were following behind and every move that the 6 objects made were in sync with each other.

We watched this for about 10 to 15 minutes until they were out of sight and appearing to go in the direction of Beale Air Force Base.

They were not airplanes or hot air balloons or birds or anything that I have ever seen before. I called my son and his family who also saw these.

Slowly floating object with strange lights, moving across the city.

I was standing outside of my work waiting to get picked up, and I see over a building something floating really really slow, not even going 10 miles per hour, with lights I have never seen before. It looked about a mile away from where I was. I watched as it floated slowly across until I couldn't see it anymore. I was to shocked to go get someone and my phone wouldn't be able to see it that far away in the dark. It was the craziest thing I've ever seen in my life. I believe in UFOs a hundred percent and now I know for a fact that they are here on earth. A plane could not go that slow, and a helicopter doesn't have that shape.

3 Translucent gray equidistant circles connected by straight bars

On June 24th @ approx. 11p, my son and I were talking and having a cigarette in the backyard. I was lying down on my chaise star gazing, as I do every clear night, looking northeast.

Something large and low suddenly caught my eye to the southwest. As I was turning my head I thought I was going to see a bird, until my eyes locked onto the object.

Three gray/translucent perfectly equidistant disks connected by lines/bars flew slowly and silently overhead, then completely disappeared before a tree positioned to my left (northeast). The size of each disk was apparent 1 degree in diameter.

My mind was quickly running through all of the things it could have been; tethered balloons? No, flying perfectly aligned together, never breaking formation. Remote-controlled toy? No, it was translucent with a dull luminescence and the way it was flying was just too odd and absolutely disappeared in flight. The only way I can explain its appearance and flight path is as if I was looking at the back end of a vehicle in flight, but couldn't see the front body of it.

It only was visible for about 5-6 seconds then completely disappeared BEFORE it would've gone behind a tree. I'm really not sure of the height, but it looked about 200-500 feet in the air; hard to tell because of its translucency. Unfortunately, by the time my son looked up it was already gone.

I've been an avid star watcher for a few years, so I know what is normally in the sky. I know which are satellites, iridium flares, space station, stars, planets, planes, helicopters, etc. This really was nothing I've ever seen before.

My other grown son and couple of his friends have also seen transparent low flying crafts at the height of 200 ft (explains the craft as cigar shaped, transparent as if looking through a heat wave & having 3 gill shaped lights on the underbelly) late at night at our house; 1 last year and 1 about 2 years ago.

Three yrs ago, my grown daughter and her friend were lying on the roof. They saw an enormous triangular black craft with a white light at each corner (she explains it as about the size of her hand at arm's length) fly directly, silently over them at approx. 600-1000 ft high. It scared them so much they were crying hysterically and ran inside.

My kids and I are truly objective, grounded people who I believe have just seen very unusual things. I work as an analyst, so it's my job to be observant, analytical and objective.

I would very much like to know if anyone else saw it or have ever seen anything like what I've described. I've attached a drawing of what I saw at my perspective lying down on my back; porch overhang to my right/southwest (where I first spotted it), tree to my left/northeast (where it disappeared PRIOR to the tree). Heading North on Sunrise Blvd. and saw circular object with lights around it's rim circle 2 and a half times and vanish.

I was heading North on Sunrise Blvd. I was in the left hand turn lane at Antelope Rd. and Sunrise Blvd. The object was north of me and about 1200-1600 ft. in the sky. It was circular with bright white lights rounding its rim. It circled 360 degrees two and a half times, at a 45 degree angle and disappeared. If the moon where the size of a silver dollar hanging in the sky, this craft was about the size of a penny in comparison if flying in front of it.

Three lights in atriangle shape flew across the sky below the cluds heading northeast over Citrus Heights.

There were three very distinct bright lights flying in a triangle shape. There formation would change shapes from a triangle to a line and back. They were flying from the southwest to the northeast. It was cloudy but they were flying below the clouds. Finally one by one the lights slowly went out. I couldn't quit tell there speed but it didnt seem to be to fast. It lasted between eight and ten minuts. This was the second time two of my friends had seen these lights. They saw it sometime in early 2000. None of my friends cell phones worked when this happened. They called aand all they could hear was there own voice talking back. About a minute after the lights dissapeared a helicopter headed towards the general area of the crafts, if this is relavent.

Stationary sphere-with-a-flat-bottom with white lights turns on edge and zooms away.

We were traveling eastbound on I-80 and exited the Freeway at Elkhorn/Greenback lane in Citrus Hts, California. The light was red so my mother and I were just waiting on the exit ramp for the light to change.

I noticed an unusual object hanging in the sky above the trees at my 2 o'clock. I thought it must be attached to the top of a very tall antenna hidden by the trees because it did not move. Viewed from this angle it had the shape of a pan of Jiffy Pop (halfway popped) without a handle.

The "pan" was solid with a row of white lights set into the side. The rounded top appeared to be a framework of wire with a hazy, gauzy covering sort of like the angelhair that people put on Christmas trees. I thought I could see through the framework because the rounded part of the object was the same color as the sky.

I observed the object for about a minute. It did not move and the lights didn't move in that time.

Suddenly, the lights flashed a couple times and the object turned on its edge showing us the "top". Then it looked like a frisbee, on edge, suspended in air for a second or two.

Then it flew away on edge so quickly we were startled. It was still the same color as the sky giving the illusion that we could see through it.

Traffic had started to move when the lights blinked so I could only follow the object from my 2 o'clock to my 5 o'clock.

My mother turned to follow it but it was gone.

Sighted several bright green, rectangular lights both descending and ascending; sighting lasted about 2 minutes.

What I saw is as follows: There were approximately 9-12 bright green rectangular objects (lights). When forst observed, they were approximately 175-180' away and approximately 75-100' in the air and descending rapidly in what appeared to be an undulating movement. While most of them appeared to be about 9-12" wide and maybe 14-18" long, there were 3-4 which were larger; possibly 14-18" wide and maybe 24-36" in length.

After descending, they appeared to go into/behind a large pine tree. At that point, we were only able to observe a greenish glow which lasted for approximately 60-70 seconds.

All of a sudden, they began ascending at a high rate of speed (faster than they had descended) and when they reached a height of approximately 200' above the tree (which is about 60-65' high), they suddenly disappeared from view.

While my wife thought she heard a faint "whooshing" sound, I didn't. It is also interesting to note that there's a large Doberman who resides at the residence next door to where the pine tree is. Although we have both heard this animal barking numerous times, on this night, the barking was totally different in its tonal quality. Rather than the usual barks of a large animal, at the time this was happening, it issued only 3-4 barks and they sounded fearful...almost as if the animal was shocked.

Although we usually go out for air several times/week at around the same time and have done so for almost 10 months, this was the first time we've ever seen anything. The following evening, we looked all around the neighborhood for anyone who might be displaying green garden lights; however, there were none observed. We were unable to locate anyone else who may have witnessed this event.

I didn't think much of it at first but it happened again tonight. The first time was a couple of days ago in the same location.

In broad daylight in the middle of town, myself, my friend, and strangers watched in amazment and puzzlement.

My coworker and I went out in front of our county office for a cigarette and when we were about to go back in something caught my eye. There was a black object above the residential area across the parking lot and across the street. It was very large, it seemed as big as a house. "What is that?" I said. ((name deleted)) looked, but couldn't identify it either. It made no sound, had no lights, and was turning in it's orientation very slowly and changing shape as it hovered about 500 feet above the residential area at a distance of about a half a mile. It was impossible to make out any features, it just looked like a black lump with a flat underside. Sacramento is littered with aircraft and I've flown myself. There were no lift planes, no engines, nothing that could be identified with any type of aircraft, and it was completely silent.

I told ((name deleted)) to go inside and get the sheriff, but he had already left and another coworker came out to see what she was talking about. Two men who had also been watching the object from our parking lot came drove up to us adsking, "what is that thing?" At the same time on of our clients and her children came out and saw us looking up and also saw it. It seemed to be getting closer, moving silently and slowly. Everyone else began to leave but ((name deleted)) and I stood and watched as it slowly started to drift hight and higher. As it did the bottom showed a distinct triangular shape. ((name deleted)) went back inside but I continued to watch as it just rose ingto the stratosphere and disappeared.

I felt very strange afterward. Very confused, but very tranquil. I think it's because it wasn't some flashy sci fi UFO thing. I had seen it, and others with me. On my way home I called a local news station on my cell to see if anyone had reported seeing anything at that location. They said no but wanted to know what I saw. I told them briefly but neither they or I pursued it further. The tranquil, huanting feeling followed me for days, despite being teased by our coworkers. I think it just confirmed what I believed was true, in broad daylight with one of my best friends with me as well as a bunch of strangers.

Orange Triangle or Orange flames?

At around 1:40am I went to the backyard it was about 36 degrees w/ an exceptionally clear sky. My backyard faces East and there were no surrounding lights so the stars were very bright white and ltblue, appearing to twinkel.As I was admirring, a different color caught my eye, coming from the East, a very large orange light was flying in the same manner as a plane but only a mass of orange light could be seen, keeping my eye on this orange light I called for my son. When he came out to witness it he thought it looked triagular in shape.Because it was so late and cold it was also very quite, and this thing had no noise before or after it passed over. By then my son(16)had told his cousin(17)to come take a look, at this point I was facing south on my tip toes watching this object still glowing orange as if to be flames, and suddenly a "a smaller mass or ball of orange light or flame" popped or broke off from the larger one and slowly decinergrated into air as the larger one was desending and very slowly appeared to dim and then it faded out or we lost sight? we were in total awe, waiting to here a sonic boom or see an explosion but nothing. I have seen questionable things in the sky before but this time I had two witnesses. I felt driven to share this after finding this web sight today for the first time.I'm curious if someone in the same area saw what we did.

7/7/002100 hrs 7 people saw a disk shaped ?flaming from the sw and left a bluegreen haze that lingered for a long time

myself as well as 7 other witnesses were standing out side around 9 pm give or take a minute, . we looked up to the sw, towards Mc Cullen A>F>Base to see a disk/half dome shape with a bright white tip on top of dome. you could see what i say were flames coming from the bottem of disk/dome shaped object. it seemed to drop and then lit up brighter then took off like a flash to the west and was gone in a mere second i got on the phone and called the airforce base,they were getting calls on it and refered me to you....being an airforce brat (my dad a com controller) know not to trust the infro from the airforce.they lie toooooo much...now the news says it was a missle launch from Vandenburg.....right how convient for them but it was Not a rocket i saw and it didnt blow up this thing i saw left poof it was gone it also left a bluegreen haze behind for a long time! ice crystals??....NOT!!!!!!!

There were six light that changed formation then they disappeared.

I was driving down the road when I looked up and saw six lights (two sets of three) in a 'V' formation moving slowly two what was my right. About a mile up the road I saw a bunch of cars pulled over looking up at the sky. It was another mile before I reached my apartment I loked out the window and at his point they looked as if they were forming a circle (they were all in a circle except one). I then went out my front door and was standing on my stairs but I couldn't see the lights do to my building. Within a minute or two an upside down triangle formation came into my view as startd to pass my building. They moved fairly slowly and the bottom light slwly dimmed to nothing. Then the top left light dimmed to nothing then the fourth light came into my viewpassing my building. That light then dimmed. Finally the top right light dimmed to nthig. I couldn't see what happened to the other two lights. The lights were a yellowish color. They were steady and slow moving. I didn't hear any noise when I got out of my car. We saw 6 lights that seemed to hover in like a triangular formation. They seemed to be suspended in air. When they moved they all seemed to kind of float together keeping the same formation. They floated south and them seemed to disappear by fading away. A whole bunch of cars stopped near the intersection of Antelope and Old Auburn Blvd. When we drove a little south and stopped near Woodchuck Way. Some neighbors in that area said one of the objects had come down real close within a few hundred feet above their homes. I don't know exactly what they said they looked like but I thought for sure I would hear something on the news but not one thing.. It is still a puzzlement.

Summary : Object of an unknown type cruising at a low rate of speed over the area of Citrus Heights

While on my newspaper delivery route, I observed an object which I initially believed to be an aircraft decending to land. It then occured to me that it was in the wrong area to be either leaving or arriving at the airport. I then noticed that the lights which I had though were the wing tip lights, (which as you know blink red and green) were only white and that they were blinking in a circular pattern. There appeared to be a red light on the underside of the object which did not blink. The white lights were very bright and continued flashing the entire time that the object was visible to me. The object appeared to be cruising very slowly approximately 1 to 2 miles away. I could not hear any sounds coming from the object even though it is very quiet at that time of morning.The object appeared to be circular in shape but overall was similar to the shape of a derby hat with a domed section on top. from my vantage point I would estimate the size to be approximately 25 feet in diameter. As ti travelled I eventually lost sight of it as trees in the area blocked my view. I am a 45 year old male, I wear glasses and the other observer was my son who is a 15 year old male, he does not wear glasses. The entire sighting lasted approximately 2 minutes.

bright orange saucer went from stationary, dropped and then shot back up in a v motion then disappeared.

I was probably in 9th or 10th grade, I was laying on my back on the floor in our living room talking on the phone staring out the slinding glass door up into the sky. It was very dark, I don't remember if there were stars or if the sky was clear.

There was a very bright orange saucer shaped object very high up in the sky. It was stationary for about 30 seconds and then it dropped down very quickly and then shot back up at a V and disappeared. I've never seen anything like it again and have always wondered what it could have been.

The strangest part was that it went from stationary and then dropped and shot back up so quickly at an angle. It couldn't have been an airplane, or any other type of aircraft I've ever seen, and it was definately not a shooting star, etc.

Witnessing what I saw that summer day in Sacramento still leaves me in awe. My sisters and I saw an immense object hovering very close to our back yard.

I remember this incident so vividly. It was a clear, hot summer day around 5 or 6pm in Citrus Heights, when my sisters and I were socializing in our back yard. I was 17 and my sisters 14 and 19. Out of nowhere, a VERY LARGE saucer (50 ft or so)descended and was partially over our back yard--at the southeast corner approximately 70 feet away. This saucer was a medium gray metallic color and had bright white lights that traveled in a circular motion around the perimeter--it was so immense and so close! We couldn't see the top of the saucer because we were basically looking up at this object. At first, we thought that it could be a military aircraft, but it was eerily silent, especially since it was stationary and hovering so close to us for some time. Living in Sacramento for 16 years with four military airbases close by, I have seen every possible military aircraft that you can imagine--this was not an aircraft! My sisters and I were hysterical while scrambling to get our polaroid camera; the picture we attempted to take came out blurred (strangely, it was still light outside and usually does not get dark until 8 or so during the summers in Sacramento). We watched as the saucer slowly ascended and headed south. Why am I reporting this story so late in life? First, I didn't think anyone would believe me even though I have two sisters who could corroborate my story. Second, there was a program on last night about UFOs (2/17/99) that compelled me to investigate after seeing an interview of an Ohio policeman who saw a saucer and described that it was so close but made no noise. This was the first time I have heard a witness recount their experience which was somewhat similar to mine. Finally, when a person experiences something of this magnitude, its disturbing; when there are so many people who have experienced this, but no real answers, it is extremely disconcerting. I am not a "spiritual" person but a discerning individual who comprehends by facts. I felt the need to share my experiene in furthering the research of UFOs. I want to know what I saw that day. My sisters and I are college educated, well read, successful and very normal people. I am a vice president of a large high tech firm based out of Philadelphia and have been an executive in the high tech field since graduating from a university at the age of 21.

Used tire floating up into clouds.

Mid-afternoon as I sat in front of my sister-in-law's home, I witnessed a 'used tire' rise from the backyard of the house across the street.

The 'used tire' very slowly rotated end-over-end as it very slowly traveled away from me.

It took at least eight minutes to slowly rise and slowly travel up-and-away until it was too indistinct to see against the distant clouds.

There was no wind nor other cause for the 'used tire' to rise and travel.

I heard no sound, I saw no lights from the 'used tire'.

Low flying, silent, wing shaped craft passed directly overhead while we were moon gazing; report on local TV breaking news.

In late evening of mid June 1973 (best guess) I and my three daughters (aged ((deleted--preteens))) were watching TV when I noticed that there was a full moon and a clear sky so I took the girls out onto the patio to look at the moon. Within a few minutes I noticed a craft pass directly overhead at an estimated altitude of 200-300 feet. At the time I was a ((rank deleted)) in USAF working in flight ((deleted--involves flight activities)). I had been in USAF about ((duration deleted)) years at that time and had worked with aircraft for about 7 years and could identify most of USAF flying inventory at that time. After the craft passed over I told the girls that I hoped that that EC-121 was not in trouble and did not crash because he was way too low for normal flight. My first impression was that it was a USAF EC-121 Radar Picket airplane which were stationed at McClellan AFB. These planes were 1930's era Lockheed Super Constellations. As we steped back into the house the program we had been watching had been prempted by a local newsbreak. An unidentified craft had been reported in the Fair Oaks, Citrus Heights areas. Upon reflecting on what we had seen I realized that there had been no engine sounds. An EC-121 at 300 feet, assuming not all engines were out, would have been deafening directly over head.

It is my contention that the brain does not immediately misidentify objects which it cannot readily identify; but initially attempts to identify such objects as a known object. When I ponderd why I initially identified the craft as a 121 a number of clues came forward. It appeared to be a medium gray color in the bright moon light the 121's at the base were painted gray. It appeared to have a wing; however upon reflection I could not recall a fuselage, only a wing. It appeared to have portholes with light emmanating from them.

Thank you very much for the excellent report! Given your credentials as a USAF military officer, the report is particularly interesting to us.

If possible, I would like to pin down the date with somewhat greater accuracy. Is there any way you could reconstruct the date, do you think? For example, do you remember the program you were watching, by any chance? Also, do you happen to recall the station you were watching that broadcast the news report? Do you remember the phase of the Moon, perhaps?

Do your daughters remember the incident, by any chance? If so, would they be willing to submit independent reports of their recollection of the event? We have observed that different witnesses recall different details about an object, and all those facts help in understanding what was seen.

Finally, could you provide us with an illustration of the object you saw? If your daughters could do the same, we would be happy to post them with your reports.

Hello Peter,

I would very much like to help pin down the date but all I remember was that I am fairly certain it was in the summer and it was not oppressively hot that night as I recall so I believe it to have been May or June and the moon was full as I recall. I am fairly sure of the year because we bought the house in summer of 1972 and I resigned my commission in ((month deleted)) 74 and I was working ((location deleted--West Coast)) by Summer of 74. I put the patio in subsequent to the first summer we were there. I have not a clue as to program or channel we were watching I am fairly certain it was one of big three ABC, CBS, NBC. I have talked to my daughters about the incident in the past and they vaguely recall it but primarily because I have brought it up not because in left an impression upon them. The image in my mind is of a wing with portholes with light emanating from them. I can sketch such for you and email it. I had another incident which took place at my parents home in a small village called ((town name deleted)), NY in early July 1978; I will submit it sometime. At this time I am sort of busy moving my possessions from Maryland to Northern NY; have been at it for about 4 months. I am heading back to MD within a day or so to pick up another load and drag it up here. ((name deleted))
