White high-speed tik-tak seen in night sky.

Watched a silent bright white tic-tak fly silently by at high-speed, possibly 2,000 knots, heading approximately 200° I would estimate the altitude to be 6,000 agl. The skies at the time were clear. Visibility about 50 miles. About the size of a small plane.

I’m a 10,000 hour+ commercial pilot and know this wasn’t a shooting star, known military jet, commercial drone or optical illusion. The craft had well defined borders. No sonic boom.

My wife and I were driving back to the house in the Santa Cruz/Los Gatos mountains, until about 15 minutes ago. We are inside now and don't think we are going back outside to check if the lights are still there. They were way to close to us but too high up to be city or on mountains. But clearly not that far away.

Some had been behind us for a second then we're gone then again and gone just before getting to the driveway. The rest were in sky (3 that I could see) blueish, greenish and yellow/orange tinted diff altitudes sort of triangle formation. Two were flashing from the canyon on the mountain or more. Like signals I'm not sure. But also was bright large glowing area in the steep parts of mountain multi colored but all lights mostly white with different hues I guess is the proper description? Did anyone else see this tonight? Maybe you can explain it to us? Thank you for any explanations at all.

As I was driving Highway 17 early in the morning with by husband a very bright big oval shape object caught our attention in the Los Gatos hills. I quickly took much phone put to record it but as we came to a turn we lost sight of it behind some trees. We tried looking around for it while driving but it had vanished. Had never seen something like it!

I saw a large, dark, slow, loud, UFO that was 60 ft from the ground.

At 2:00 AM, i hear this powerful and loud tornado like sound and i rush outside my backyard to see what it is. I see this large, slow moving UFO that has balls of lights at each end of the UFO(N,S,E,W) and one in the middle of the UFO that was flashing. It was a really dark figure and it was about 60 ft above the ground, which is very low for any type of plane. I would say it was going about 15 mph ground speed. Many other people heard it, but didnt know what it was. I am one of the few that actually saw it.

"Shooting Star" that made immediate 90 degree turn

I was on the phone with a friend in my backyard and happened to look up towards the western sky just as what I though to be a "shooting scar" was streaking across the sky away from me and towards the west. About one second and 45 Degrees across the sky later the object promptly made a complete 90 degree turn towards the south and one second later vanished out of view. I have watched many meteor showers looking the exact same direction in my backyard before and have never seen anything like this, the amazingly effortless change in direction made me immediately believe that it was a UFO. I was so shocked that I went quite on the phone for several seconds until I finally came to and alerted my friend of what I had just witnessed. Unfortunately he lives on the east coast and did not see it.

Single Gigantic-size Solid White Light in Rounded Cone Shape with a light tail behind it traveling at Extremely Fast speed

I was driving South on Highway 17 towards Santa Cruz right past H-85 in Los Gatos. Suddenly a VERY large light the shape of a cylinder, dropped straight down out of the sky traveling at a speed I have never comprehended. It was solid white light. It appeared to be in our outer atmosphere. But it was so large seeing it out in space, it had to be absolutely enormous. It just dropped out of space straight down toward earth. It had white light trailing behind it similar to a comet. It was so large it size, and just dropped behind Mount Umunhum (mountain that separates Santa Cruz from San Jose). I thought it was going to crash into earth and was expecting to feel and see some impact. I thought I would feel the earth shake when it hit the earth. But nothing happened. I couldn't believe what I had seen. I called 911 but it rang for 3 minutes until I finally hung up. The phone lines were obviously jammed. I called a friend and asked if they had seen it. They hadn't. This morning, they said there was a meteror shower last night. This was NO METEOR SHOWER. It was a single large solid light in a rounded cone shape with a light tail behind it traveling at a enormous speed. It had to be the size of a small planet. It was gigantic.

Please add this to my last description of SINGLE ENORMOUS WHITE LIGHT COLUMN in Cylinder Shape with Tail.

The below article I found on the web states states it is BLUE. To me all I saw was white light. And it was NOT a meteor or a space rock. It was Gigantic. It was so huge, it would be like looking at the size of a plane taking off and going right over your house. It came from the outer atmosphere into own atmosphere. It was in our own sky. As the report states, it was seen all the way from the South Bay of San Francisco Bay all the way to Sacramento.

Scientists Speculate About Bright Blue Flash In Sky Astronomers Say It Was Space Rock POSTED: 7:51 AM PST November 21, 2003 UPDATED: 8:57 AM PST November 21, 2003 NBC11 was flooded with calls from Bay Area drivers who a saw bright blue flash in the sky Thursday night.

So far, scientists don't now for sure what happened.

Astronomers do not think the flash was caused by recent sun flares, or last week's Leonid meteor shower.

Whatever it was, they don't believe it caused any damage.

Astronomer Brian Day said, "Most meteors burn completely in the atmosphere. This was big enough where something might have come down, but if it did, it was out over the Pacific Ocean." Astronomers say it was likely a space rock that put on quite a light show when it burned up on its way through Earth's atmosphere.

It was seen as far away as Sacramento.

Avibrant white cone of light that faded leaving a glowing blue phenomenon which persisted for many minutes and witnessed by three.

I saw a what looked like any normal police helicopter search light, however the field of light was more vibrant yet its range was not as far (for the white light). The white field was in a cone shape and from the the "inner-tip" projected a long blue beam of light that was unlike anything I could easily describe. The long beam got longer and the white cone light faded by time I got a good look. What struck me that this was a "U.F.O." was because after whatever was producing the cone had faded into the night sky the blue beam remained for another 20 minutes or so. To make sure I was seeing what I was seeing I asked my girlfriend and my next door neighbor to come witness the long blue glow as it just sat there in the sky slowly fading. They both saw the phenomenon and were both baffled as to what it could be. I hope I'm not the only person in the area to see and report this because this event happened right over our downtown area and was also very close to a major freeway of Silicon Valley. After witnessing the event we also noticed high aircraft (planes) out of normal traffic patterns flying very close to the glowing area and when I immediately came in to report this we experienced a "boot-up" problem never before experienced on our brand new computer. Please E-mail me about any other sightings in this area. Thank you.

Entering into dusk witnessed a small round object coming North from the South. Object darted accross the sky and finally hovered about 100 feet from my house. Was extremely quite and had red lights that circled its middle. After a few minutes the object took off very fast going to the NW.

On February, 1986 I was looking toward the South at the ocean. We have a great view of Santa Cruz all the way to Monterey. I noticed a small round object in the sky coming from the South. It caught my attention because of the strange way it was darting from one side of my view to the other. Their was a band of red lights circling the middle part of the saucer shaped object. So I watched for a few minutes as it neared my house. I expected that when it got nearer that I would hear a sound from the engine, believing at the time that it was a plane or helicopter. This strange object stopped just 100 feet short of my house and hovered there quietely. At this point my sister came to see what I was yelling about. She also saw this strange object and wondered what it was. I quickly ran inside to get my telescope to get a clearer picture of what I was seeing. AS I was struggling to get the tripod out the back door the object took off very fast making a beeline for the North West. I tried to follow it with my eyes running around the side of the house but it disappeared very quickly. The things that stood out: moved very fast, was very quite, and was in the shape of a round saucer with red lights. The zig zag pattern was very interesting to watch and it did not do that when it darted away. The saucers color was dark with red lights. My sister and I still talk about what we saw at dusk that evening.

Large elipsoid object (greenish hugh) hovering and slowly moving forward just above the treeline (approx. 150 feet) in Los Gatos foothills.

I was eleven years old. Standing on my driveway in the rustic Los Gatos Foothills with my younger brother (9 at the time) and neighbor (16 at the time). We were talking... then both of their mouths fell open. I turned to see what was going on. A large elipsoidal object (about the size of a 1/4 mile running track oval was hovering toward us (very slowly) just above the sycamore trees (approx. 150 feet). We all stood in silence and awe for a minute as the object moved almost directly over head. I ran into my house to get a camera. Here's where it gets weird... . I asked my mother for a camera (we had two olk kodak's in a drawer) and she forgot where they were (my mother knows exactly where everything is in her house, she's meticulous like that) I went to the drawer where the cameras were and pulled one out. My mother stopped me saying she didn't know if it had film in it. I thought it did and took it and ran through the house to go outside. (It gets weirder now) I ran through the television room where my father was watching a rerun of Gilligan's Island (he never watches the show, doesn't like it much, BUT it was MY FAVORITE SHOW) I had the thought that the object/UFO was now gone and sat down to watch the show (which I had seen many times before). When the show ended... I saw that I had a camera in my hand and couldn't figure out why. I thought hard and knew that there was something "really important" that I was forgetting. I remembered the UFO and a wave of terror came over me. I ran outside to see if it was still there. I found my younger brother and neighbor exactly where I had left them. Only now they had been joined by two other neighborhood kids (I believe 18 and 19 years old at that time). The UFO was no longer there. I asked where it went. They asked "where did what go?" I said, "The UFO, where did it go?". They said "oh, that, it took off real fast, but that was a while ago" (all four of them saw it leave). I find it odd that they shrugged it off as if it was no big deal. A few years later I was with my mother in a local shopping mall. I went into a bookstore to find her. The book "Communion" had just come out and wsa displayed in the store. I literally was scared for my life when I saw the cover... I was terrified that the alien on the cover was going to kill me. Now, I'd never seen a picture of a Grey up to that point in my life. And I had no idea that it was an alien. Non-the-less, I ran out of the bookstore and sat outside for 1/2 an hour scared to go back in and see the image of the alien. Was I abducted? I don't know. All I know is I saw that UFO (or at least something without wings or propellers) when I was a kid. And I was terrified of the picture on a book cover.

3 craft seen in day light, very low altitude and as clear in detail and color as a car on the road.

The 3 ships my wife and I saw were disc shaped and slightly concave on the bottom side. On the top side there was a definite "cabin", with round port holes around the outer edge. There was a "pole" (knob) at the center bottom. The ships were glowing from within and were an all over color like that of a bluish floresent lamp. The sighting took place in late day light and the crafts were flying in a canyon, so we could see the hills behind them, so the altitude could be gauged some what. My guess would be they were flying at less than 200 feet altitude.

All 3 ships looked as though they were sailing on a slightly wavey sea and were gracefull in flight, with out a whisper of sound. They were moving very slowly, at a rate of 10 to 15 miles per hour. Following each other, they each one very briefly paused, just slightly west of our position, nearly overhead. When they took off, they traveled from east to west, at approximately a 45 deg. angle from the horizon, gaining altitude at an amazing rate of speed. From our view point, they appeared to be 30' to 40' feet in diameter and when they took off, they diminished to a speck in a forth of a second or less.
