White orb changing altitude and direction before repeatedly disappearing and reappearing

Was out walking my dog with my partner and saw a large orb of white light moving to the right (east). It then changed directions by moving forward and then to the left (west). Orb gained altitude (very high), hovered, and then dropped somewhat quickly, turning brighter as it dropped. Then, it disappeared very suddenly, at about the altitude it was at the start of the sighting. It reappeared about a minute later heading east, then disappeared again. There was no sound.

We have 2 ring cameras and the one at the back barely gives us warning , suddenly we had a movement, when we checked it 3 lights on the same line came from sky to ground then moved up back, we thought that they were bugs or something then we realized that we could see their lights on the ground and on trees.

We might be wrong but what if we are right, if there is any movement on FAA radar that may help you, otherwise sorry for taking your time when you are watching the video

My wife and I looked out of the window and saw the 5 lights not moving spaced 10ft apart, went to grab mytelescope and they disappeared

At first I thought it was drones up for the fireworks in town, but this is a small town and there wasn’t anything special going on for the holiday weekend as far as I was aware. It was 5 rounded orb craft with lights off in the distance about 1.5 miles from my location off to the SW. From what I could see they were white/silver round balls with a black stripe running down the middle (horizontally) They were scattered and in no sort of pattern, I did not see them arrive nor did I see them depart. They were not moving the entire time they hovered about 300-400 ft. from the ground. My wife didn’t really believe me at first but I said if they disappear in a few minutes it might be UAP/UFO related and then sure enough gone without a trace. I had looked out the window previously and did not see anything like that but it was a bit cloudy on this evening. I am very interested in our solar system and what is beyond I am always scanning the skies day and night so this is a rare moment for me. The entire situation lasted roughly 10 minutes, unfortunately I didn’t have my telescope properly prepared for such an event. In the image provided I have shown the radio tower in the SW direction from my house. I hope this wasn’t just drones and I’m sorry I didn’t take any pictures.

A white stationary for 10mins, shape-changing-object. Possible balloon. Between fast moving clouds. Flew North slower the clouds 12mins

(4:30pm) I walked out of AutoZone towards my car. There was a chill in the air, and wind gusts at approx 6-8mph. I looked up at the low dark fast moving scattered clouds in the sky. During a quick break in the clouds I saw a white stationary-shape-changing -object. For a few minutes it was shimmering off the setting Sun.

The object was above the moving clouds. -Not going through them. For 10 minutes.

I didn't have my glasses on, I couldn't see the complete details of the object. So I asked a guy working on his truck if he could see what the object was. He said "it looked like one or two of those white spy balloons."
A few minutes later, when I was next to my car. The object appeared to change shape, *(like a pulsating piece of chewed bubble gum) and become a darker gray color and started floating North for approx 12 minutes. *(slower than the moving clouds)

(4:52pm) As the sun set and the sky grew darker I lost sight of the object. I saw the object a total of 7 times between the clouds during the 22 minutes I watched it.

White Orbs 50-100 in front of Saddleback Mountain in Trabuco Canyon CA

At 3:30 p.m. pacific time I set out to walk the dog. There was a winter storm system coming through the area causing very strong winds. The sky to the east had dark clouds. The sky to the west was clear and sunny. I was looking to the east to the top of the Saddleback Mountain ridge. In front of the dark clouds were these white orbs. At first I thought I was looking at a flock of sea gulls but then I realized they were too big to be birds because I was far away from the top of the mountain. Also I realized they weren’t really flying in a flock type of formation. They were kind of circling or swirling. They were definitely separated from one another and moving in synch with one another but they weren’t going horizontal. There were anywhere from 50 to 100 I think. I stood for a few more seconds trying to register what I was witnessing. I started to walk down the street toward the mountain hoping to get a better look and maybe film it. After another second or t! wo some started to disappear and re-appear. They kind of flickered in an out but not quickly. It was a slow flicker. Then almost all of them disappeared at once. Three to five were left and they formed a V shape for a second or two and then disappeared together.

Looked like the full moon, but was not.

At 20:30 I stepped out onto my deck, which is on the back of my house, and looked to the south-southwest, where I spotted what looked like the full moon behind a thin layer of clouds, bright but somewhat diffused. It was fairly low in the sky, about 7 to 10 degrees above the horizon. I recall cheerfully greeting the moon with a ‘hello, moon’, a habit I have when it is particularly bright, which is why I took note of it later, when it disappeared. It was there for at least the next 5 minutes, then I went inside. On that night, the actual moon was in waxing crescent, with only 20% illumination, which I saw when I stepped back outside an hour later. No trace of the ‘full moon’ was visible, only the proper crescent phase. The position of the large, white glowing disk was far lower in the sky than the orbit of the moon is currently following, as well. It made no sound, had no color except for the pale glow the moon sheds, and did not flicker or move while I obser! ved it.

There’s a ufo that can be seen in Orange Ma. Almost every night!

I’m not kidding. Almost every night there’s a ufo that comes through orange. I’ve seen a couple but the one I’m talking about you can see if you face south and look Southwest, Towards Westfield, Ma. It rises into the sky, sometimes it does circles or goes up and down, sometimes it just flies away. Almost always it’ll fly northeast. My only guess is Westfield Air Force base, one of the biggest in New England, has something they’re not talking about. I’ve also seen a triangular craft with three red lights at the points, and one HUGE white sphere in the middle fly over my house in the same direction. I got a video of it and soon after that cell phone just disappeared. It was an old government flip phone and the craft was moving so slowly I was able to film it from my window then run outside and catch it outside before it flew over tree cover. If there’s anyone in orange on here, look for the one that comes almost nightly! If you’re not good with direction go to! the lights by the dispensary, stand in front of the brown apartment building facing the Pizza Factory, and look above the Bedroom Factory. Right around sundown. You’ll eventually see it yourself.

My husband and I were traveling south at dusk on Route 15 in Orange County, Virginia. About 4 miles from the town of Orange, we both noticed a triangular shaped craft flying over Route 15, coming from the east and traveling west. The view of the craft was subtle, as there were no lights illuminating the underside of the craft except for 3 dim blue lights at each angle. We both could discern a vague outline of a solid object and the angle appeared to be equilateral in shape. Though we were inside a vehicle, we could not detect any sound and it was traveling at a high rate of speed. After it passed overhead, it seemed to blend in with the darkening sky to our west. Since this seemed so unusual, we both noted the time, which was 7:18 PM.

Chevron shaped object with 5 green lights appeared and disappeared at request of observer.

Visiting my family at the home where I grew up, after everyone else in the house was asleep, I was sitting on the back stoop, in view of the woods. Feeling calm and peaceful after a day of meditation, I silently (in my head) invited any ships in the area to reveal themselves.

Within roughly a minute, a chevron (or triangular/boomerang) shaped object appeared over the woods, partially obscured by the tree line. I counted five green lights on the bottom of the object, which glided up slowly from the point of materialization at an angle that allowed me to view its full shape.

Viewing this object, I felt a sense of joy and reunion. However, when the question came into my head, not as words, but as a feeling, inviting me to meet the occupants of the object, it came with an intense energy that was familiar in a sense, but like nothing I've experienced on Earth in my conscious memory.

I was reluctant to feel fear, but I almost immediately knew that I wasn't ready to have a physical encounter. I declined, telling the occupants they could go if they wished and thanked them for trusting me. Almost instantly, the object dematerialized.

I sat outside for a few minutes before going in for the night.

Three bright stationary points of light went from Venus like bright to very dim over five minutes.

As I was looking to the South, I noticed a bright flash of light about 20 degrees above the horizon. At first I thought it was an iridium solar panel flashing up, but the star like light source went from bright to a medium dim over a second or so, then the same thing happened another 20 degrees or so above the previous light source, doing the same thing.

Then a few seconds later I noticed the same thing directly to the West about 40 degrees above the horizon.

All of these sources of light stayed stationary and dimmed from a medium brightness to a very low over five or so minutes, but it was hard to tell with fog and cloud cover coming over the valley.

We walked out onto the patio and 3 red glowing lights were in the sky. One was very large, the other two slightly smaller. No sound and they weren't moving at all. Then a 4th one floated up and also stayed still. All of them were bright red, like the brake lights of a car. And they had large red glows/auras around them. I heard someone down the street yell, "What is that?" I tried to take a pic but they only showed up as white dots. They were there for a good 10 minutes, then they faded out and disappeared.

Bright white light shines above mountain tops in Sounthern California mountains by Ontario/San Bernadino

A white light appeared above the mountain tops just north east of saddleback mountain looking from Portola Hills, Trabuco Canyon. The light increased in intensity for about ten seconds. At its brightest point, the light appeared much larger then the relative size of a full moon (about 2-3 times larger in circumfrence). The light was so intense that it hurt my eyes to look directly at it.. It stayed at full intensity for about 30 seconds and then suddenly turned off instantaneously like a light switch. It still stayed slightly dim after the light stopped shining like a hot light would after it is turned off.

Floating orange ball of light, then zipped out into space

Was smoking a cig, saw a orange ball of light about the same size of light you'd see from a low plane, but it was orange not white and there were no flashing lights.

Watched the light fly slowy across the sky, and then it stopped and moved backwards, the way it was coming from. Repeated to hover and shift slowly through the sky, it was flickering like a star but not a plane or helicopter,

I watched the object stop moving and a white line showed up below it, and it started to get smaller and as it was getting smaller the light got less bright, and all of the sudden, it vanished.

While watching it, I looked around for someone else looking but the only other things that saw were the two random cats I saw sitting in the street staring at the sky. Sighted near heart park in Orange CA, object was floating in the sky somewhat toward Angel Stadium. Anyone else see this??

Large object over southwestern sky in W Massachusetts, bright lights, slow moving object, changing shapes.

I went outside and actually was looking for anything moving in the sky. (Because I actively now seek this stuff out) I spent 20mins looking at all the stars and trying to find an odd one. In the south western sky high over the tree line I noticed there was 3 star looking objects in formation of a perfect triangle, and a very bright looking star next to the formation (so 4 all together) At first, I kept staring at this formation as I found it odd all the objects were stationary and I have never noticed this constellation of stars.

I kept searching but could not find anything I thought. I went back inside then went back out to smoke again 20 mins later.

I could not find the triangle formation that was previously there but did still see the big bright star. I stared at it and saw bright lights coming from it. Greens, bright blues, red, orange all the colors of the rainbow. It was moving very slowly but fast enough (in all directions up, down, and horizontally) and now I could see it was changing it kept making a red triangle and I'm not sure if it was just flashing this or if that was the shape. It also flashed a few other pictures/shapes one looked like a pine or Xmas tree)

At some points I could see it looked like a classic ufo...round, seamless, and rotating horizontal lights, but as I stared harder at it, it was changing to a triangle then to a round object. At a few points it looked diamond shaped then maybe it could have been multiple ufos in formation it changed so often I could not tell. Sometimes the entire thing got very bright then it had and aura around it.

The flashing different bright lights never fades though only when a regular plane flew by did it stay stationary and white.

It had to be very far away because I had no readings on my magnetometer.

And I know how crazy this might sound but I want to be honest I felt waves coming from this, only when it was in view and I was staring at it. It felt like my vision was like twilight zone everything went black and then bright in and out. At one point there was stripped lights down trees in my vision as my vision blacked in and out. There was no fear or pain or negativeness I really didn't feel much while in this trance state (it also felt voluntary but hypnotized)other than pure interest/curiousity and I tried to allow the waves to take over as far as they would go but once I blinked the waves stopped and started over again until I blinked or the object went out of veiw.

The object eventually slowly fell out of veiw within a little over an hour (it fell behind the trees) & my boyfriend who thinks aliens are absurd started yelling at me, but I wanted to get in my car and follow it. Too bad I was unable to.

Please note I did try to video tape this effect but I could not hold my phone long enough to get anything also every time I tried the object did not look the same as it did in person I believe this is due to my phone not having a good camera and I was shaking and could not hold it still.

Four fireballs with long tails of fire sighted in the eastern sky from Orange County, CA.

I noticed the first fireball while driving east on Chapman ave in the city of Orange at around 06:15. I watched it come in and out of sight for over thirty minutes as I rode to work with my friend in her car all the way to Santa Margerita. The fireball was heading north/northeast and had a long tail of fire. It was about 30 degrees high at first and gradually worked its way down to about 15 degrees high after about 35 to 40 minutes when it suddenly burned out fell straight towards the ground. The fireball turned into a large ball of smoke before it fell, and the straight tail of fire was replaced by a serpentine smoke trail.

We picked up another worker in Santa Margerita and headed towards El Toro shortly after 07:00. I saw another fireball identical to the first and at about the same trajectory that I had last seen the first one disappear. I thought it was the same fireball initially, and I puzzled over how it could burn out, turn to smoke, and fall from the sky only to reappear ten minutes later. I watched this second fireball flying in the sky for about five minutes before I lost sight of it behind the hills. I sighted Two more fireballs within a minute of losing sight of the second. Judging by the size of the fireballs and the length of the tails, these last two fireballs were much further away than the first two and lower in the sky, but they were all heading in the same direction.

I could see what looked like a bright white light with a concave shape in front of and separate from the fire tail following directly behind it a few times and only when it appeared to be heading towards me. It looked like a shield or something that was suspended directly in front of and well forward of a craft to protect it from burning up as it entered the atmosphere from outer space. It was most often heading away from me, though, and it looked like a ball of fire with a burning tail. I thought they were meteors at first, but I found out that meteors are hard to see in the daylight and usually burn out within 30 seconds when I looked to see if any one reported seeing any meteors at that time. I don't know what I saw, so I guess they are UFOs.

Extremely loud noise followed by a falling red, white, and green orb; soon after blue light flies by overhead.

There was an extremely loud noise overhead, similar to that of bombs dropping from the sky. There were no airplanes present above at the time and the sky was clear. Five to ten minutes after the loud noise, there was a red orb which fell from an extremely high altitude (similar to that or above which planes fly); and soon turned to a white light, and then a green light lasting about fifteen seconds.

Fifteen to twenty minutes after the orb of colors fell, a bright blue light streaked by lasting no more than five seconds. In this short amount of time, the light had gone from my current location to the ocean which is about seventeen miles.

Glowing orb being chased by two jets

My son 9 years, old, came running into the house in a huge panic scared that he witnessed a large glowing orb being chased by two military jets. He said the jets were on either side of the orb chasing at high speed. About the time he saw them I was sitting in my neighbors' house and loud jet like sounds stopped our conversation and we commented how loud that was and never heard a ghetto bird (helicopter) that loud.

We are in the flight path of john Wayne flight path so he knows what airplanes and helicopters are. He said the jets were black/dark in color.

He has NEVER made anything like this up and he was truly scared and out of breath.

While traveling south - my wife and I were witness to a very fast falling shooting star from the east toward the west lasting aprox 3 seconds. This was a bright arch of mostly white light that changed from a tint of yellow to white to tint of bluish green before disappearing. We estimated from angle that this if it did hit earth could have been in the Pacific Ocean near shore.

Three orange-red fireballs, coming from horizon and following upward-right trajectory then fading away, one appearing after the other

On 11/22/14, while standing outside facing West, a silent fireball of orange/red color appeared from the horizon at 21:34. Over the course of a maximum of 4 minutes, it slowly (floating like a lantern) went diagonally up to the right then, at about half way up, it slowly faded then disappeared. Within less than a minute, another fireball appeared, following the exact same trajectory, then faded. About a minute later, a third fireball appeared, floated the same path, then faded away. In total, there were three fireballs within 10 to 15 minutes. We took a video but it is such poor quality that it doesn't seem worth sending.

The three observers are mostly novices to astronomy. Two of the three have, on multiple occasions, seen unidentifiable objects in the sky. However, they have never seen fireballs before the previously mentioned incident, only round objects which emitted a red light which varied in intensity. They moved in a way which did not correlate with the current wind direction.

3 orange ball lights.

My sister and I went out to the backyard to look at the supermoon, and we saw 3 orange, round lights, round-shaped light, over the 55 north freeway towards a Lincoln Avenue near Tustin Avenue & Collins,

We video taped them and we upload to youtube, they were hard to get on my cell phone but when we saw them, they were orange, They look like orange stars but they were closer to the ground or actually over the neighbor's house, first 2 were side by side, then we saw a 3rd on bottom left & it accented towards the other 2, they they disappeared.

June 26, 2014 Dear Mr. Davenport I have written to you twice in the past week, regarding the lights in the sky over Orange and Riverside County. This morning on KTLA (Los Angeles Station), they reported two lights in that same vicinity last night, and they were recorded once again. The news anchor reports, Camp Pendleton Marine Base, Miramar Naval Base, (which are located in the Oceanside, San Diego area) and the FAA ,have put out a statement, they don’t know what these lights are.

On the MUFON California site, I clicked on Orange County, I checked it out last night, it goes to some other venue. They claim it was maneuvers at Camp Pendleton and that they have solved the issue. My foster son who served 4 deployments to IRAQ and is an active Marine at Camp Pendleton said, there is no truth that these lights were caused by maneuvers at Camp Pendleton.

I guess if the issue is being investigated, we will never hear the outcome. Very unfortunate.

UFO's over Southern California

June 24, 2014 Dear Mr. Davenport:

I wrote to your site on the night of 6/18/14, regarding the UFO’s over Orange County and Riverside County, California. I see you noted it on your front page.

I found tonight, when signing into Google, I typed in Mysterious lights over Orange Co, Ca, June 18, 2014, immediately, video evidence popped up. If you go to the second entry, a couple heading from Irvine, California (Orange County) south towards Dana Point, California, video taped the objects, even one going out, and then coming back on. For your reference, it says uploaded by Justin Me., and there is a reference to utube at the top of his entry. You can hear both the husband and the wife, as they are video taping this phenomena.

This sighting was not only reported to your site, but hundreds of calls were received by many television stations from people describing the same thing. There has been no explanation by anyone of authority over the past 6 days. Initially, Camp Pendleton Marine Base in Oceanside, California, and the FAA said they had no craft in the air at that time, and did not know what it was that people were viewing.

Have you received any more information from your sources? Several eyewitnesses reported to news stations, helicopters were seen trying to chase these lights in the sky, with their searchlight pointed up instead of towards the ground as we are used to seeing, when a search is occurring.

If you get a chance to view the video I referred to you , you will be amazed. And that is not the only video that has been shown by local television stations. This is not a hoax. I just wish someone would explain even if they don’t know what it was, but to let us know someone is looking into this.

Stationary object turns into red, then blue and then a glowing white and duplicates process and then flies overhead.

I was outside on my balcony and saw a bright red line in the sky. I looked at it and it looked like it was the size of a plane about to land, but not the correct lighting. It then changed to blue and then a glowing white quickly then back to red.

This happened a second time and then the stationary object moved and flew overhead at a moderate pace while red in color.

I live in a heavy flight area near John Wayne Airport and this was not in particular flight pattern that is normal to the area.

In addition, approximately 3-5 minutes later 2 helicopters that were not very visible, appeared to be similar to the military ones that fly overhead to the base near Palm Springs flew overhead.

I'm sure there's some sort of explanation, however I can't explain it!

It for a while was stationery 800 feet over head, just off freeway interchange and Hart Park and Main Street and 22 freeway, Southern California, orange.

No visable wind at time of the sighting. sky was clear and object visible from car as we passed under and left of it on the 22 fwy in freeway.

The single diamond shaped object eventually faded after 5 to 10 minutes.

Orange light pulses then dissapears.

Small single orange light sighted. Silent and pulsating. Color of an ember that floated in a straight line at constant velocity. Comparable to brightness of an airplane light yet it's pulse was strong enough to increase brightness dramatically. Light flashed a few times before it stopped flashing (only the small orange light left), continued on its path and then disappeared. Altitude and distance is hard to estimate as nothing else was visible as being part of the light. Planes fly low over location all the time and if the light was at the same distance and altitude of a plane the brightness of the large pulse would be the diameter of a plane. I would of said it was just an ember that flew out of someone's chimney but consistency of velocity and brightness and repetition of pulses make me hope someone else besides my party saw it.

I have had the joy to say I have seen a UFO, but a member of my party claims he has and even he said what we saw was "weird! "

Bright white light (occasionally diming and becoming fully bright again) displaying odd movements over the SW skies of Orange, NJ

Single white light, appearing to be an airplane (silent, without noise of any kind), coming up from the south-southwest, heading north-east. The light came up over the tree line of the backyard, then stopped and maintained it's position in the sky (max height: about 40-50 degrees above the horizon). After about 10 minutes, the light dimmed and stayed dim for approx. 2-3min, then came back to full brightness (as bright as the ISS would be in a clear night sky) - this behavior happened about 4 times total. The light stayed in a constant position relative to the moon (during this time, the moon had risen approx. 70-80 degrees above the horizon). As the object seemed to move with the rotation of the earth, it soon became harder to view due to the tree line (from which it initially rose above) and we could no longer locate/track the light.

Before the light disappeared behind the tree line, we noticed another seemly white light appear flying from the east toward this light. When the two lights were close to each other, the original light quickly became dim-to-invisible, while the other light seemed to become two lights, flashed in an alternating pattern, became dim-to-invisible also. We were initially aware of this because we live near a major airport; so flying craft from commercial aircraft to recreational aircraft are seen regularly. This one was strange because it came from a place in the sky outside the flight path that aircraft would normally approach.

The above is an observation of something we normally do not see over the skies of this part of New Jersey. Its behavior was suspicious so we wanted to put it on record.

Light in the sky dissappears after slowly flying towards the area where i live.

My son and I were out at night, around 8:45pm. We went to the elementary school down the street from my house to view the fireworks that were going to be lit from the high school a few blocks down.

We were sitting, facing south when I caught in my eye, from the southeast, a light coming towards us high up in the sky. I didn’t think anything as our neighborhood is in the flight path of our local airport.

There had obviously been lights all evening however, this light didn’t have any blinking lights coming from it so I knew it wasn’t an airplane or helicopter.

I then looked away for a few seconds and when I looked back it appeared brighter and bigger than before.

I then took my eyes off it again and I looked towards the west where I saw another light that looked just like this one, this other light had a blinking light though.

So I looked back at the unusual light and right as I tried to tell my son to look, the light started to dim fast until it fully faded a! way and left a small ball of fog behind.

I kept my eye on that area to see if I could possibly spot anything else and was unsuccessful.

I watched a ball of light move across the sky with multiple seemingly random movements. The light would change direction instantly, rise and fall in altitude.

I ran back to my house and called my wife outside and we both watched the light for a few more minutes before it traveled south and out of our view.

Fast moving formation of ten UFO's.

April 1, 2013 I usually go outside to stargaze before I go to bed. Last night was no different. As soon as I walked outside and looked up I saw a “shooting star” go right over me heading south. I was amazed at how bright and clear the stars were, this is very unusual here in SE Texas. I went back inside the house to get my binoculars. I came back out and was focusing on the star Alnath, in Taurus. I was facing SW. This star was just below Jupiter and was very red, it also appeared to be twinkling and changing colors. Most of the stars appeared to be twinkling and changing colors. I had just focused on this star when something flew right through my line of sight.

I immediately looked for it and focused on a formation of ten flying objects flying in a V formation. They did not have any lights on making them difficult to follow, and they were moving very fast. I do not know how fast they were traveling. I counted seven seconds from horizon to horizon. My “horizon” is within a pool courtyard surrounded by a house. The objects were travelling E-NE. The formation changed from a standard V. I have attached my drawing for a description.

The colors of these flying objects were very close to desert camouflage (tan, brownish gray). Their shape was an irregular four sided polygon, with the shorter side being in the front, resembling a triangle with the top cut off. I could barely make out other shapes and impressions; there is an attached drawing of this as well.

I realize this description is very similar to military aircraft, but here are some differences that stand out. There was absolutely no sound, except for traffic on the freeway that is about a mile away. There was no wind that I could tell, and I waited after I could no longer see the aircraft for any mechanical sounds, and there was nothing. There were no lights coming from these objects, nothing blinking or glowing or spotting. Finally, my perception of the speed they were moving is faster than anything I’ve ever seen.

This is not the first UFO I have ever seen, it the second I have seen in Texas. The first UFO I ever saw was in Brussels, Belgium in 1990.

I am a 41 year old single mom currently finishing my degree in child psychology. I live with and help care for my aging parents. I am not originally from Texas, I moved here from Cape Cod, MA. to be closer to my family. I have done extensive travelling in my life, and saw my first UFO while living overseas. I have been an avid stargazer ever since.

8 "fireballs" seen in Orange County, CA.

Roommate A was outside in her backyard at 9:15 pm. She looked up and saw three bright orange lights rising into the sky from the southeast, in the same pattern. They looked like they were on fire, then burned out, and then fell. She called her three roommates to look outside and they saw five more of these 'fireballs' rise, go out, and fall, following in the same approximate pattern. The fireballs were slightly larger than a star, and moving much quicker than an airplane in the distance.

Mysterious Rays Light Up Night Sky in Orange, California

So...Friday night my boyfriend and I were in Orange County visiting old friends at a kegger. We left the party at around midnight, October 2nd. After picking up some In-n-Out on Chapman Ave. we headed up Chapman towards the 241 to Riverside. My boyfriend was passed out drunk, and I was D.D. As soon as we went over the top of the hill, right after the Orange Hill Restaurant street ;ight, I saw these beautiful rays of light flashing upwards towards the sky. I want to describe it as similar to the lights you see at a car dealer, but there were way too many of them! So my best example is when you see in E.T. movies, a UFO sitting in the middle of the forest and it's lights are shining throughthe trees in a somewhat circular,waving motion? Hope that makes sense. But NE ways, it light up the whole night sky, and it was coming from in front and to the left of me. So my best guess is that it was coming from somewhere in between the Irvine Park and Santiago Oaks area! . I saw the lights constantly moving from the top of the hill until right before I got to Santiago Canyon College. My vision of the source of the lights was somewhat obscured by all the tall trees in the area. But whatever it was, it was very bright and had to have at least 5 lights around it to account for how many rays I saw shooting upwards. The color of the rays went from a pure white to a faint blue.

I went outside to enjoy the sun and i was observing a bird that was very very high in the sky. I kept observing it because i had never seen a bird so high until it went below an even higher object and the bird flew away and i was fixated on this other object.

The other object looked like no bird, but my first thought was it had to be one or a balloon. I could see the sun reflecting off of it and the color was silver, the object was cigar saucer shaped. The object appeared to be very small only about quarter inch so i knew it was very high up and was not a blimp or anything. it was very shiny silver because the sun was reflecting off of it. i have planes that go in the same direction where i was observing the object and i can tell you. this was flying higher than any plane that passes by. i saw no planes pass till after the sighting and they were 3 times lower than what this object appeared to be.

At first it was very hard to see and i was shocked to see it so i looked away then tried to see if i could find the object and if it was still in the same place. it was. I stared at the object for about 30 second before it started to move really really really fast, up down, left to right. like nothing i had ever seen before. faster than a plane, bird or anything. it was then i looked away again thinking my eyes were playing tricks on me. so i looked away and tried to see if it was in the same vicinity. it was. so i kept my eyes on it while it moved crazy fast. I observed this for about 1 and a half to 2 minutes before i was in so much shock i couldn't believe it i had to look away again.

After i did that i tried to find it again but it was gone, it disappeared like it was never there but it was.

Bright white object very large that traveled in the sky unbelievably fast in many different directions.

I went into the backyard just after midnight to take clothes out of dryer. I looked up at the sky and spotted what I thought was a shooting star. I was very bright and falling very quickly.

It suddenly stopped and started to fade away. As it faded away, I saw what looked like 3 red lights in a triangle formation.

Then the white lights got very bright again and looked like LED lights. When lit fully it almost looked like an X, but curved. It looked far away but very big, probably the size of a large plane.

It moved faster then anything that I could imagine. I watched it go from one part of the sky to another in seconds. It continued to fade away and I would see the red lights again and then get very bright white again.

I really can’t stress the speed that it was traveling and the size of it. There is no way that something that large should be able to move that fast.

After 4 minutes I decided to run in and grab my video camera. I was able to get a! bout 45 seconds of it on film and it does show the speed that the object moved at.

It went up and down and across and zig-zag. I still don’t know what exactly I saw, but I do know that there was something physically out there.

Strange light seen over Orange California

A bright light appeared from the east near roof-top level at a distance of a few miles.

At first it seemed to be an airplane heading toward nearby John Wayne Airport and even turned in that direction like a normal airplane. There were no green or red lights, only a single star-like white light.

After turning to the south, the light dimmed and then made an abrupt turn to the north and brightened to about 1 magnitude or brighter.

The object began a series of acrobatic maneuvers that an airplane could not perform. It reversed direction almost instantly, swooped down very rapidly, and climbed just as quickly. This pattern of movement continued during the entire episode.

Although the object seemed to stay in one part of the sky, it slowly drifted toward the east and finally disappeared from view.

I watched the object for about 10 minutes.

While observing the strange motions, I saw an early-morning jogger come by and pointed out the object to him. He joined me in my observations until the object passed from view.

Point of light in daytime sky over Orange, CA

I was in the process of removing our exterior Christmas lights when I noticed a light in the sky to the North moving South. It appeared in luminosity similar to a star or satellite. In addition, it appeared to be of very high altitude, again similar to a satellite. This was apparent as the jet plane was passing from East to West at a high altitude at the same time I noted the unknown light. The plane was crossing the sky at an approximate 50 degree relative elevation from my vantage point, and the unknown light was at an approximate 70 degree relative elevation when first sighted.

My initial thought was this was a satellite, as I have seen these many times at night and on occasion during the day. However, this light did not behave as other satellites I have observed. The light moved relatively slow in comparison. The light took approximately 30 seconds to move directly overhead. It then stopped for approximately 3 to 5 seconds. The light very slightly grew in size and brightness during this period of first sight to the stop over head. I also had called my wife out to see it during this period. She also observed the light. I asked to bring the camcorder to see if we could get the light on video.

The light then moved in westerly direction. Again, slower than a plane or satellite. We tried to film the light with two camcorders but are unsure if we captured it (we have not reviewed the tapes as of this reporting). The light continued on its westerly course for approximately 3 minutes before I noted it was moving slightly to the west/south/west (say 15 degrees from true west). The light was approximately at 75 to 80 degrees relative elevation. Please note I can assure the light was very distant as it was obscured for a second or two by part of high cloud.

I continued to intermittently observe the light for another minute. The light was dimming and becoming increasingly harder to spot. It appeared to traveling directly away (i.e. out rather than in a particular direction).

Tuesday July 14 th at 11:35 pm pst, city of orange California .I witnessed an unexplained craft flying a very unusual pattern in the sky. I am close to a flight path for a local airport but orange county airport (sna) closes for in coming flights at 11 pm pst.

I am used to seeing jets, helicopters, and other small planes, and know their decent patterns. And I know what their landing lights and beacon lights look like. I have never witnessed anything that could fly this pattern so quickly and fly off into the horizon so fast.

The craft resembled a police car light bar but instead of flashing lights , had steady on blue on each end with a row of steady red in the center.

I had a clear view and there was no cloud cover, no other signs of aircraft, I was facing east with a big bright moon to my right towards the south at 2 o clock in the sky, and telephone lines in front of me so it was clear to see the unusual pattern.

The craft was over head flying to my 12 o clock position, I then flew a 90 degree turn to the south at the 3 o’clock position, then diagonally down to the 7 o’clock position, then quickly straight up to the 12 o clock position, then it flew a big arc, from 12 o’clock to 9 o’clock, then another arc from 9 o’clock to the horizon straight in front of me, disappearing. I called to my wife to come out and see as It was happening.

The incident lasted about 35 seconds , it was gone by the time she came out the door. All off this was here in the city, so maybe someone else saw it I hope.

crazy lights moving in a triangluar pattern acrost the sky, one of them split into 2 and streaked acrost the sky.

me and my mother were driving northbound to go to the store when i looked up and saw 3 unusually bright lights that were in a triangular shape. they were moving around, but keeping this triangular patern. then all of a sudden a fourth appeared in the center and lingered around for a few seconds, before dissapearing. then 1 of the lights that made the triangular shape grew brighter then dissapeared the other 2 remained lined up and kept a path acrost the sky in a westward direction. all of a sudden one of the lights grew brighter then started to fade quickly, and the other split into 2 smaller lights which streaked parallel to each other in an eastern path, before 1 dissapeared and the other streaked at an incredible speed in a westward direction, where we lost sight of it.

I was with a girlfreind walking her to car outside my home, she looked up at the western skyline and said what in the hell is that, look at those shooting stars. at frist i couldnt see them and then they just reapeared dancing in a x like pattern. we were making so much noise the neighbors came out. we all stood there and watched.

I have noticed extrodinary changes in physical and mental ability, continues to this day.

I must make it quite clear, I never saw any UFO, Alien Life Form, or Supernatural Technology. The connection I have made was in fact a sense.

To begin my story I must start back on the day of May 18th, 2008. It was around 8:30 A.M. on a Sunday and I was suddenly awakened which was unusual because I usually sleep in until noon. Upon waking up, I can’t describe what happened, but I felt something out of place in my house, I got up, and found that my dog who normally slept in a separate room, had been outside my room scratching at the door. This troubled me, so I went back into my room, grab what I determined to be the heaviest, blunt object in my room, (which at the time happened to be my Guitar Hero Gibson) and proceeded down my stairs leading my dog by the collar. I decided to look outside of my house and with dog and guitar in hand, walked outside. When I got outside, my dog immediately took off running, and did not come back for six days.

Out side, I found nothing, and proceeded back into my house, feeling hungry and not in the mood to make myself food; I decided to go to McDonalds and to look for my dog on the way. I did not feel normal until I had left about 20 yards from my house, where I did indeed see my dog, but he would not come when I called him.

All this, albeit out of the ordinary, was nothing to what I would discover in the weeks to come. When I had gone to McDonalds, eaten my food, and come home, I found throughout the day that I was no longer hungry. I had also discovered that my athletic ability, which was already significant, had dramatically increased; my times in the mile dropped from 5.03 to 4.27, and continue to go down, despite my being in the off season for track, and no longer practicing as hard. In the past week alone, I have grown 1/16th of an inch, and in total over the month that followed this event, have grown about an Inch and ½. I only now need to eat one meal a day, and my Vocabulary, Math skills, and Memory have vastly improved, and I dare say they maybe on par with others who have achieved doctorate degrees.

I have noticed similar changes with my dog, which is 16 years old, and has the agility of a puppy. I searched my property and found nothing; similar occurrences have happened with my neighbors, only effects are less impressive than my own. All doctor check outs have found nothing unusual. I will continue to monitor my process as time continues.

LARGE DARK CIGAR SHAPED CRAFT

Clouds were rolling in just ahead of a front due in our area. I was traveling north on HWY 1130 at about 11;20 am. As I glanced ahead and down the road my attention was drawn to a dark object in the clouds moving at a higher than normal rate of speed, also at an altitude of about 500 or 600 feet. The object moved from west to east and seemed to accelerate as it turned rapidly to the north and I lost it though the tree line.

I replayed it in my head over and over to try to make sense of what I saw. If it had had two rotors I believe it could have been one of those large lifting choppers the military uses, but there were no rotors or wings of any kind.

A bright light that looked like a star, but didn't move like one.

Early Morning Febuary 17th 2008 2:45am After a storm and a front moved though there was still some lingering clouds but mostly a clear night sky where I could see the stars.

Around 2:45am yesterday night I was on my cell phone with my friend talking to her and sitting on my steps outside my door. In the East I seen what looked like a bright star, at fist I thought it was Venus, but it started getting brighter and brighter and it was moving closer, it wasn’t moving very fast probably just a little faster then a normal plane. It wasn't a plane beacuse it was a lot bigger and it didn't make any noise. For a few moments I thought it might have been a meteor rite. It was coming towards me and it looked like it was going to fly over my neighborhood, but instead it turned upwards and started to rise towards a patch of clouds. There was a break in the clouds and it flew up through them, and then into another higher patch of clouds and disappeared until I couldn’t see it anymore.

A few minutes after that I heard one or two millatary jets fly over out of the opposite direction in the West over my head towards where I seen the light go into clouds. I couldn’t see them though cause there was more clouds that moved in.

I described everything on the phone to my friend as I was seeing it.

I’m not sure what it was… It could have been.

A very large falling star... slow moving (for a fallinf star) that kinda fell/flew but then ascended upward back into the clouds.

A plane with a huge bright light bigger then the plane strapped on the front.

I ruled out it being a satellite or the space station cause it was under the clouds and sorta low and in mid sky within the earth’s atmosphere.

To me it’s a UFO… that’s what I got the feeling that it was, by the shape of it, and because it was Unidentified, Flying, and it was an Object.

The best I can describe it is a bright star that looked like Venus does on a good night which is what it looked like at first. Only it got 50 times bigger as it got closer. I could tell it was bigger then a plane it was glowing like a golden bright white light, oval and round in shape. It didn't make any sound. The maneuvers it made by flying towards me horizontally and then it moved upwards vertically into the clouds have to say that there was something was piloting it. This was defiantly something other then the norm.

I don't have any tapes or pictures.

I'm writing this incace anyone else seen anything or got anything in a photo or on tape the night of Febuary the 16th or early in the morning on the 17th 2008 over Texas around the time after the cold front moved though. Maybe this would give some value to what they seen.

3 UFOs Hovering in Saddleback and lights "parked" on the ground.

After seeing the firework show in Orange at the Fred Kelly Stadium, we headed home at 10:05pm and decided to take Saddleback Rd. the way home(Lake Forest) to avoid freeways. We saw a large object that was "parked" on the ground with lights facing down and hitting brush back up. I wanted to take a closer look but my husband had a bad feeling and continued forward. We then saw a hovering light in the sky, too low to be a star but too high to be a light. We where going about 55-60 M.P.H., the U.F.O. stayed stationary and then as we go closer we see another about 20 degrees lower and to the right. We passed the first one then it was in the rear window, saw it lift straight up, stayed still, then zip to the right (if you where facing it. The one that was to the right was then right below. We then see one to our passenger(3 total) window approximately as far as the two out our drives passenger window. We saw them "playing"as we sped off.

Oddly shaped object hovering above Orange County, California, then flying off under power.

We saw what we thought might be a "mickey mouse" balloon floating in the sky. It was either light in color or appeared so against the dark sky. We thought of a mickey mouse balloon because it seemed to have bulges coming from it and seemed to be tumbling, so that the bulges alternated sides of the object. It was odd, though, because it didn't seem to be moving in any sort of wind as you would expect a balloon to do. If it was a balloon, it would have had to be only a few hundred feet up considering the apparent size to us. Eventually, we started seeing some light coming from it. The light was red and intermittent. At the same time the object started to appear to move upward, as it seemed smaller and smaller. Soon it headed north and moved more like a conventionaly plane. It still had some light coming from it, but it didn't look regular like you would expect for running lights of an airplane. My eyes may have been playing tricks on me, but I thought I saw some "shimmering" intermittent lights, possibly blue, which appeared to surround the object on one side for very brief flashes. As we watched the object move off to the north (by this time it was simply a light), it appeared to possibly interact with another light of similar intensity.

Bright Copper Glowing Object, emits burst of light and debris or object is deployed and falls toward northern Orange County

My significant other and I were going to a friends house in the city of orange, as we were knocking their door, I looked up to check out the moon on the southern sky. (I Had read the day before in the "Orange County Register" that a European Satellite was being made to crash land on the moon and that the Impact Flash would be seen from Orange County) Since I did not see anything different with the moon, I scanned the whole night sky for any stars or planes or any other peculiar object.

To my surprise, I saw a bright Star just north of 90 degrees (from the top of my head) At first I thougt it Was Mars or Jupiter because It gave out a really bright orange, almost Copper like Glow. As I watched it, all of a sudden it got really bright, and then it seemed to have had a burst of light from one side, and something like fire or some debris seemed to be expulsed from it and began to freefall, and as it did, it began to loose its glow. If you ever seen fireworks as the sparks began to freefall and loose their fire glow, that is almost what it looked like, but this definitely was thousands of feet up in the air. My Significant other saw it too, and she thought it was high enough to have been a satellite, but neither of us have seen a satellite that stays static up in space. I don't know if this bright object that we saw, was deploying another object or if it had been hit by something else causing it to be damaged and loose material from it. this happened just in a matter of seconds, by the time it was over, my friend had opened the door, and when we looked up again it was gone. I believe that if whatever came off that object crashed or landed on earth, it must have been happened in the Yorba linda or Fullerton Hills in Orange County.

Fire and fast moving object in the sky.

I was driving near the intersection of Texas Hwy 1130 and 3247 in Orange, TX facing west when this event occured. The object to the far right in the picture showed first. The brightness of it is what got my attention. That spot appeared followed by two more bright white objects in rapid succession. Grabbed my camera and took 4 shots. The sequence of events was from right to left. That was it at the time; they seemed to be dissipating so I drove on. A few days later I downloaded the picture and found when I blew up the 1st two pictures it appears to be fire in the sky with a diamond shape object (the first one to appear) in the cloud to the right and the smaller object (last object) disappearing to the left. The last two shots when blown-up look like smoke rings where in the shots just seconds before appeared fire.

An oblong oval craft, larger than blimp, with a streak of colored lights about the length of a footbal field making huge rumbling noise

The object flew directly over our house and my parents house down the road at tree line level (extremely low). It was a massive craft, oblong and oval in shape, bigger than a blimp. It made a huge constant loud rumbling noise as it passed by slowly.

The lights were amazing. A white and green dot on top with a long streak of lights along what looked to be the bottom or side. The long streak had to be close to 100 yards in length and the streaks changed color periodically from white to red and to blue. I did capture on video, the craft with the noise over our house, but the video does not do it justice. Also as the craft moved overhead, every sensor light we have around our house went off an continued to for about 1/2 hour afterwards

9 lights in changing formation moving steadily southward

I was at home and decided to check the sky to see if it was clear enough to do a quick look at Comet Machholz. I had learned of the comet recently and knew it was bright enough to see without optical aids in a dark sky area and probably visible from most light-polluted areas. I was pleasantly surprised to see the sky was pretty clear where I live, for it had been raining periodically for what seemed weeks and more rain was due to arrive. There was plenty of moisture in the air causing the sky look terrible for star gazing; this I know because I am an amateur astronomer. I grabbed a pair of 7 x 50 binoculars, knowing they would provide much aid in locating the comet under any conditions. I had looked at a star map on the Internet earlier in the day and knew that I could easily find the right location to look because it would appear near the Pleiades star cluster. Without using the binos I looked up and immediately saw Orion's belt and then used the bioculars to scan upwards from that point to pass what appeared to be Aldebaran, a bright star in Taurus, and then the Pleiades (which were not very apparent with the naked eye that evening). As I moved around from Pleiades it only took a few seconds for me to notice a white, faint fuzz ball that I figured was probably the comet. I only glanced at the object for a second before I decided to mark its position in relation to the other landmarks so I could verify that it was not just a deep sky object like a globular cluster. I scanned upwards and located the Pleiades (very close to the supposed-comet) and then I started back down. As I was going over some stars, something about them caught my attention. I held the binos on an area of sky with what appeared to be quite a few remarkably similar stars close together. As I was looking I thought I was moving the binoculars because it was a strain to look upwards at the very high angle that this part of the sky was in. It turned out that I was moving the binoculars ever so slowly and that I was following these lights I had originally thought to be stars. I was able to discern this because (after a mental double, no, triple-take) I saw the 'regular' stars stationary in the background as these others moved across the sky. Within a few seconds I counted 9 in my field of view (and recounted), it appeared to be 4 in one group and 5 in another group that were so close together they all could have been just one group of 9. These lights appeared to me to be a whitish-yellow color; very much like a typical incandescent light bulb in color. The shape of the light was hard for me to discern, but they could have been a small bar that was perpendicular to their direction of travel. If it was a bar, the bar appeared to be dimmer on each end leading me to also believe they could have had brighter lights towards the middle of the bar and dimmer ones at the outer edge. I couldn't be certain of the shape of the lights but I was absolutely certain that all 9 were identical. And the best part of the whole story is that this 'formation' of 9 lights did not stay in a static array. The lights were moving amongst themselves changing the 'formation' almost constantly. It would be impossible for me to tell how far away they were, but if I guessed I would say if they were smaller objects they were probably about as high, and moving as fast, as a commercial jet. If they were much larger objects I'd say they were about as high, and moving as fast, as a standard orbiting satellite. I watched them for about 2 minutes and that was long enough to see that they were getting slightly dimmer and slightly smaller as they headed in a southern direction. The course never changed but the lights were moving among themselves almost constantly - not all of them at once, but maybe four or five being actively moving at any given time. I put down the binos and went inside to tell my wife and that was that. I would like to say that I've spent hundreds of hours looking at the night sky with and without binoculars and telescopes and I also look at the sky during the day quite often. It is incredible how many individual small balloons I've pointed out to my wife as they traverse the sky, undoubtebly escapees from some poor child's clumsy grip. I also have a habit of noticing aircraft and am particularly joyous when I see military craft as they fascinate me (and I'm fairly good at determining what make they are). I'm very familiar with the sky and I would be very surprised if there are not at least a few more reports that mirror mine. I knew that the closest Comet Machholz was going to get to Earth in its orbit was to occur on this particular evening. Because of that and because of the proximity of my sighting to the comet, I am certain there were other eyes (trained ones, too) looking at that area at that time. I guess I'll find out soon enough when I enter this site. On another not, given my awareness of all environmental factors it would be easy for me to get a pretty close fix on the actual location (Right Ascension and Declination) of these objects by using a star map or planetarium program. Also, I'm checking the box here that says there were aircraft in the vicinity. The sky here is very busy at this time of the evening but I didn't see any aircraft chasing the objects I saw. it was a hot night and me and 6 friends were out taking our dogs for a walk. we had just gone over a hill when we saw the 4 tearshaped objects. they were very bright, they also left a trail and very strangly had a haze around it that changed color. they were shortly joined by a further three U.F.O's. the dogs started going really strange like. they were barking and getting frightend and aggressive. the U.F.O's circled and somewhat started to shrink and get bigger. These events lasted about 3 min.

Black sphere seen at 400 feet AGL moving slow at dusk

Observed at 8:00 pm pacific time. Just before dusk I was driving on a surface street heading southwest when I saw a round sphere type object at approximately 400 feet AGL due East from me.The object was 500 yards from me at the time. It was black and appeared to be spinning on an axis and about 6-8 feet in diameter. At the time I was driving about 40-45 mph as the object was also moving at least that speed parallel to my direction. As I made a left hand turn on another street it darted eastbound at the same speed. I tried to follow this object and pulled into a parking lot to observe its direction. For a minute or two it stayed in one place and around 500-600 feet AGL. I got a couple pictures of it before it moved off in a easterly direction. I picked up a family member within a minute from my location at the time, and we went towards the last known direction it headed. We saw it once more now at around two thousand feet AGL and watched it move eastbound in a steady climb through three thousand feet AGL.It appeared to have a blinking white strobe that blinked once every 2 minutes. We then left the area.It was now 8:15 pm.

On Saturday afternoon 7/9/04 at approx. 4:45pm, I was standing in my front yard watering my grass and I looked up into the cloudless sky as I often do. I clearly saw what looked like a star towards the south. I noticed the light was very bright and was moving very slowly towards the south. At first I was a bit excited, but I thought quickly that someone else should see this because I could not belive it. I knew I didnt have any film for my camera but I did have a monoscope with 25x sight. I raced into my house, got the monoscope and told my daughter and my friend inside to come out. We all saw what looked like the type of light one would see on the front of a plane coming in for a landing however when I looked through the monoscope, I could see no visible body nor could I see any type of wing, balloon or rotor. What I did see was 2 lights, 1 red on top and 1 light on the bottom whith nothing between them. There seemed to be a faint pink glow around it only visible through the monoscope. This was very exciting to me. We watched for another 7-8 minutes while this light moved very slowly away from us towards the south. I noticed while we watched 3 airplanes come into view with one in close proximaty the this light. The light was noticeably higher that the plane which seemed to be at about 8000 - 10000 ft and asscending eastward. We have John Wayne Airport at about 15 miles to the west with aircraft flying over all the time. This took place in the afternoon in a beautiful cloudless sky. Visibility was high. The light did not appear to be a reflection of the afternoon sun. It ws much brighter. I took about 10- 12 minutes to move approximatly 25 degrees in the sky until visiblity was lost over the canyon wall where I live. One interesting note is there is nuclear power plant approx. 25 miles to the south of where I live. I have never seen anything like this before and I thought very much before writing this report. I am eager to see if anyone else saw what we saw. I am truly regretful I didnt! have any film. I wont be with out again.

i seen a Ufo Ship in the Navy Addition an it looked as if it flew right above blue birds swamp an landed somewhere close to there it was only flyin about 20 to 30 feet above the ground an it was red an it was about one street block in length an from where i seen it at it didnt make any noise an shortly after wards Orange texas ended up with a curfew an one night after the sitin i was walkin up the street in the navy addition after curfew an there was a swarm of bugs on the street light that was from the top of the street light to the ground so i walked in to it to see what they were cause i thought they were just normal bugs but when i walked into the swarm they were giant brown spiders about a half a foot long or maybe longer an i could have swore one of them talked to me but i dont remeber what it said an the siting took place about 2 or 3 maybe 4 blocks from a navy base

Green Flash of light over Orange county

I was laying in bed around 2:30 am drifing unsuccessfully off to sleep. I have a set of french doors that open up into my back yard facing the eastern sky. I couldnt get to sleep so i just started staring outside into the night and all of a sudden this bright green flash of light lit up the sky. I would say for a few seconds. it was proabably a cross between lime green and jungle green. It scared me to death because I have witnessed two other UFO's floating over my city, and ever since then, i've been really cautious.

Slowly blinking light

7:55 Standing on porch smoking with friend. Looking west I saw a slowly blinking light Told my friend to look. We watched this light pulse slowly for about 3 to 4 minutes, Then wink out. It never moved. I am in the armpit of three major airports and I work out of my home. I watch air traffic all day and know all th eflight patterns well. This was not in any lane of air traffic that I have seen nor was it any kinf of helicopter. I would be interested if anybody else saw this.

My sister's boyfriend said he saw the same thing either the night before or two nights before. He didn't know what it was. I was talking to a friend about it and she said she saw something similar. On a perfectly clear day I observed the shadow of an object 125-140 ft wide moving at 150 mph.

I am not reporting what I saw but rather what I didn’t see. Cloudless afternoon, north bound on the 55 fwy between the Katella and Lincoln turnoffs. The fwy in front of me is a very shallow bowl so you can see a lot of the fwy coming up. A large shadow passed (moving north) on my left side, I’d say approx. 150 mph. I instinctively looked up to see what it was. I saw nothing. I looked back at the fwy and watched the shadow move from the left side of the fwy to the right (the distance north, covering approx. 1 mile). Alternately watching the shadow and looking up to see what it was, I never saw anything. At one point, the shadow covered the entire fwy, both sides, plus what I’d estimate to be the width of two extra lanes on either side. The fwy, counting the emergency lanes and diamond lanes is 10 lanes. That would put the shadow somewhere between 125 and 140 feet wide. The reason I’m recording this now is I saw something on TV last week about a new camouflage being used with tanks, how they can transmit a picture of something on one side of an object to the other side, rendering it virtually invisible. When I saw the program, it seemed plausible this is what I’d observed.

Two objects flying in formation over Orange County

At about 9:15pm my family had concluded dinner at a friend's house and I was trying to correct the sighting scope on my friend's telescope, so that my son could use it more easily. I had used some distant city lights from his hilltop ome, and had then turned the telescope East to run a test against the brightest object in the Eastern sky. The brightest star (I could probably figure it out on sky charts) visible through the city lights stood about 30-35 degrees above the horizon, due East. As I positioned the scope so that the target came into the cross-hairs of the sighting scope, my son exited the house and stated that it was 9:23, and he needed to get home to study. At that precise moment, two faint lights, similar to stars traversed the field of view, due North to due South, of the sighting scope above and below the target star. Using the moon as a reference of 5%, I would estimate that the two lights were about 2 - 3% apart, with the leading light about 1% below the trailing light. When they passed above and below the target star, the target star did not blink out. I looked around the sighting scope to see if I could pick up the stars with my naked eye. I was not wearing my glasses, but could make out a slight, dull blur about where the two lights should be. I returned to the sighting scope and picked the lights back up once again. They continued to travel in the same direction and at the same speed. I called my son over and pointed up to the are where the lights should be, hoping to take advantage of his better eyesight. He could not find the objects before they disappeared behind the roofline. This house sits right amidst the approach lanes into John Wayne Airport in Orange County. At the same time, about 6 airplanes were in the sky for comparison. If these were aircraft lights, the aircraft would have to be at 30,000 feet (not the couple of thousand that is typical for that close to the airport), be two planes flying in locked formation (to maintain position with respect to one another) and not one (because the target star was not obscured by their passing), and each would have to have a single warning light (white) in operation. Has I been able to see the objects from horizon to horizon in open land, it would have taken the objects about 30 - 45 seconds to travers the entire sky at their observed speed.

While driving on the freeway at 2358 hours on a Sunday night, I observed a green fireball with an orange tail shoot straight down.

While driving W/B on the Garden Grove freeway 1 mile E/of the Santa Ana freeway in Orange, CA. in my 1990 Dodge B-250 Ram van, I observed a green sphere with an orange tail come into view at the top of my windshield (approx. 45 degrees above the horizon). It was shooting straight down and disappeared in less than a 1/2 second at approx. 15 degrees above the horizon. I was heading due west (270 degrees magnetic) and the object was observed approximately 290 degrees bearing from my position. It's size was approximately 1/4 to 1/5 the apparent diameter of the moon. I am fairly certain of the date, but it might have been 1 week earlier (11/29/98) at the same time. I was driving the same route both weeks and I can'pinpoint which Sunday night it was observed. I am certain of the time, however.

It was approx. 10:30 PM when my mother did her usual routine of walking the dogs before going to bed. She lives in a rural area within the Santa Ana Mountains. As she was walking her dogs she was noticed lights in the sky, approx. 5 of them. They quickly moved towards her (5 BRIGHT balls of white light, approx 1 to 2 feet in diameter) and hovered about 30 feet above her, she quickly went to get my father..as she did these lights followed her along the dark country road... she finally reached the house and got my father out to see these lights. They hovered above them and then darted out in diferent directions and appeared as "stars"...then shot towards them and hoved about 30 feet above them, this was repeated quite a few times until they shot out into space and disappeared.

It was approx. 10:30 PM when my mother did her usual routine of walking the dogs before going to bed. It was a clear night, with no wind, or coastal fog. She lives in a rural area within the Santa Ana Mountains. As she was walking her dogs she was noticed lights in the sky, approx. 5 of them. They quickly moved towards her (5 BRIGHT balls of white light, approx 1 to 2 feet in diameter) and hovered about 30 feet above her, she quickly went to get my father..as she did these lights followed her along the dark country road... she finally reached the house and got my father and brother out to see these lights. They hovered above them and then darted out in diferent directions and appeared as "stars"...then shot towards them and hoved about 30 feet above them, this was repeated quite a few times until they shot out into space and disappeared. Another significant thing to note is that it happened last year at approx 4/97 in the same place, but theweather conditions where a bit different: chilly and light fog...the diference was that these "lights" seemed to behave the same but restricted their activity to an approx 1000 area...then they shot straight up and disappreared into the misty sky. These object s did not leave a light trail as they moved, they moved VERY fast, in a almost symetrical pattern. Also there was NO sound or smell associated with these glowing balls.

Woman was driving east from Barre, VT, and saw "a cluster" of very bright lights apparently hovering to the east of her position eastbound on the highway out of Barre. The closer to her property she got, the more alarmed she became that the objects were near, or above, her property.

Just at the moment she pulled off the highway to go up her driveway, she witnessed an immense flash, that illuminated the countryside with white light. At the same instant as the flash, she saw a streak of light shoot across the sky. It was not clear to her whether the streak was from an object ascending from ground level, or whether it had come over the horizon, from behind the hill on which her farm is located.

She immediately drove down the road, in some state of alarm, to talk to her neighbor. The neighbor had seen the flash, and the both of them stood outside and looked at "red and blue flashing" lights in several points of the sky. (Note: Were those lights twinkling stars??)

Possible sighting of Military Camouflage Technology

I'm a little hazy on the exact, it happened years ago. I have the information logged in a journal somewhere but where is anyone's guess. The reason I'm putting it on here now is because of something I saw on TV about new camouflage technology. I was traveling north on the 55 freeway. Early summer, warm, not a cloud in the sky. I first noticed a shadow move past me, moving North. I expected to look up and see an airliner as I'm not that far from John Wayne Airport.

Shading my eyes from the sun (which naturally would have caused the shadow) I saw nothing North of the sun. I looked back to the freeway and continued to see the shadow moving up the freeway. Again I looked at the clear sky and saw nothing so I looked back at the freeway. It was still there and still moving Nrth.

But this time I noticed the shadow was circular/oval and huge. The freeway moves pretty much due North. The shadow was moving in a North/NorthEast direction and I noticed that the edges of the shadow were overlapping both side of the freeway. That meant that it was wider than eight lanes and a center divider of the freeway.

Being in the printing industry, I know something about screen density and know enough about shadow to know the closer the ground is to the subject, the more dense the shadow. I would say the shadow was what would be called in the printing industry an 80% screen which means it was at a fairly low altitude. At that time, at the point on the freeway, the traffic was moving at approximately seventy and I would the shadow was doing a hundred and thirty to a hundred and fifty.

Also, I detected no noise but I was driving the freeway. Anyway, the shadow continued in a straight line until it disappeared over my horizon.

this was no helicopter squad

as my girlfriend at the time and i drove along state highway 54 outsdie of chapel hill we were on a hill top going down the hill and heading back up the next hill when we saw a round lighted object sitting across the road. it was about 60 feet in diameter and just sort of hung over the road it made no sound at all...as we approached it rose up into the air only about 50 feet or so....as we passed under it the inside the car turned blue and my girlfriend freaked out on me....i slowed to 10 mph...as we moved the object stayed right over us...the whoile inside of the car lite up....i rolled down my window and looked up...it was round and had bright lights...they lights seemed to change some how...as i calmed down my girlfriend and assured her we were not going to die, i got her to grab my camera and snap off a few shot of the object. as i continued to drive the cars behind me all stopped...the object stayed right on top of us as we drove along. when i turned it turned...i noticed that the on coming traffic did not move either...traffic was light at this time....after about 15 minutes the object went straight up at such a speed and then just shot off at an angle into the darkness......we drove back to cary and went to se my girlfriends next door neighbor....he had worked on project blue book...so he seemed like the right person to talk to...he wanted my film bad...but i would not give it to him.....he left the room and i could hear him make a few calls....we left....i took the film to the drug store for processing...when i got it back...all the negatives of the object where gone...the pictures i took before the encounter and after all came out fine, but i was shot by 5 negatives..not even blanks were in the pack...i wernt home after leaving my girlfriends and told my dad about it...he thought i was nuts....but i know he was in the air force too...and i am not sure...but i do think he worked on blue book also....i did not tell him about the pictures i had taken.....a few years ago when i was home for a visi! t...my d ad made a point of telling me that my experience had been report a few weeks ago in the local paper as a squad of helicopters...now mind you...this is some 18 years after the actual event.....i knwo that at the time there was a small article in the paper...and some 300 people repprted the sighting.....well...that is my story...i dont tell people about it.....i dont want to be considered a nut...so i keep my mouth shut....so thanks for letting me tell it here.

In Broad daylight saucer appeared 50 feet above after I looked up to see what the humming and deep bass sound was

It was a Friday afternoon and my 3 friends, (one a straight A student age 16, the other 2 were age 16 and average grades) and I had just pulled up in front of my girl friends house to pick her up and go out for the evening.

As I was getting out of my car I heard a humming sound with a deep vibration type bass included above me. I was across the street from my high school football field when Ilooked up and nearly had a heart attack when i saw the object hovering over the football field. I was so scared and surprised at what I was looking at that I could barely get the words out to my 3 friends to get out of the car and look at this!

It was a Saucer shaped object of metalic looking structure with detail around it on the bottom that appeared to be holes of many in numbers and small. It was so close to the ground that I would say to be approxmatly 50ft. or so.

I at first as did my friends try to find an explanation that would discount what we were actually seeing and then we all gave into the reality of it and accepted the fact that we were wittnessing an event that would haunt our memories for the rest of our lives.

I and my friends got back into the car as the object began to move to the east very slowly. We followed it for about 20 minutes as it gained altitude and speed until it in an instant it accelerated from an estimated altitude of around 200 to 300 feet to out of sight in 2 or 3 seconds or less.

I am a God loving rational individual and believe in everything in the Bible and that is what keeps me feeling safe from any possible event that could harm me while I await the rapture when Jesus returns. With that said I'm very interested in finding out what that was when I hope to make it to Heaven and ask the Lord my self. Until then I will only know what I saw and that the Lord didn't tell us about other life forms in the universe for reasons of his own. That I can accept and that is how I deal with that event!

Since that event I have seen questionable UFOs, but never anything as clearly visible in description as that object was and I hope to never experience anything like that again for now.

UFO disappears behind trees

While traveling on the Riverside frwy the traffic was slow due to congestion. My sister and I both let out a surprised gasp and exclaimed a simultaineous "Did you see that?" It was a luminescent blue round object traveling at a tremendous speed as though it was being propelled by super-human power. It was at a low altitude and soon disappeared below the tree level. There was no evidence of anything having crashed--no smoke or sound. It just disappeared.

I did not fill out your form as it is not working. My mother and I were walking out of our local grocery store when we heard loud clanging music above us. we looked up to see bold lights coming from a moving object in the sky. I remember looking at my mother and it disappeared.it it seemed to be very close to us and yet up high. It was a bit disorientating. Like did we just see a helicopter or a ufo.? The colors would suggest it was not a helicopter. the music was loud and unharmonious and clangy. the sky was dark. This happened in Orange county Calif. between 6-7 pm. 1974-75. I am 54 years old now and I can recall that moment clearly as if it had just happened. It was a little like the craft in close encounters. I have always wondered did anyone report it. I heard Peter talk on the unexplained podcast with Howard Hughes and he said no matter how lon ago it happeneed please report it . so I did. Thank you!! I nowlive in Ireland
