Tonight, 31 August, 2010, @ 20:13, We witnessed 1 cigar/chevron shaped object appear, very bright, to the west of Burlingame. "One”"appears near the horizon but above the buildings on W Santa Fe Ave (south side), the 2nd ("Two") appeared 2 minutes later, again much higher in the sky and to the north.

They hovered from 20:24, until about 21:30.

At 21:15, "One" faded in and out again, glowing red, then disappeared. There was quite a bit of lightning to the north and west and cloud cover prevented me from seeing if it reappeared due east of Burlingame(66413) I thought I saw two others converge and maintain a single stance to the southeast of "One"

Since 25 August, I have witnessed 2 cigar/chevron shaped objects, bright, to the west of Burlingame. One appears ner the horizon, the 2nd much higher in the sky and to the north.

They hover from 20:30, until about 21:30.

On 28 August the 1st faded in and out then disappeared and reappeard far east of Burlingame over Hwy56. The 2nd went higher and disappeared.

For a few days now, I have witnessed 2 triangular bright objects hovering for at least 2 hours just south west of Burlingame, Ks city limits. One remains stationary just above the horizon; the 2nd stays high in the sky. They remain directly opposite the moon from moon rise until around 22:40 and then one moves quickly east to be seen directly over Hwy 56 by 23:00 and the 2nd angles NE towards Topeka, Kansas.

I saw a very large, metallic object descend from over the hill crest to within 15-30 feet above the houses in full daylight.

I was on my way to Albertsons grocery store when I happened to glance up to the hills that crest over the Peninsula area and noticed what I thought to be a huge water tower on the top of the hill line. I was somewhat confused because I'd never noticed it before, and I'm a very observant person.

I drove on while keeping my eyes on the object as best I could. I pulled into the Albertson's parking lot. I was able to see the object very clearly. It was NOT a water tower! I'd estimate that it was perhaps only 6 blocks from me at the most, and by judging the size of the trees it was hovering over I'd estimate it's size at anywhere from 50 feet to 75 feet.

As I watched, it began moving very slowly down from the tree line towards me. It had to have been only 20-30 at the most above the houses. The object then began to move slowly towards the left. I noticed that at first the object was very stark and clear, but as it began to move to the left the front edge/side seemed to become blurry/indistinct on the leading edge (in the direction of travel). It slowly went behind some buildings which is when I lost sight of it.

What seemed to me to be the most interesting aspect of all this is that NO ONE ELSE SEEMED TO NOTICE!!! and yet, there it was as big as life for everyone to see. This was a VERY solid, metallic looking (lead colored) object with no apparent windows, wings, engines. It made absolutely no noise that I could hear. I began checking all the local papers for the next three weeks...nothing! That's my story!

Daylight sighting of squashed football shaped, silver object just above tree tops in heavily traveled area.

I’d like to first say that I’m 62 years old, and not at all prone to either lying, or confabulation. I’ve not embellished this account in any way.

This event took place at approximately 1:30 pm in the afternoon.

Approximately 4 years ago I was driving west along El Camino in Burlingame, CA. when I happened to glance off to my left, and noticed what appeared to be a large water tower perched on top of the bluff line. There’s a long row of hills that parallels El Camino…where all the rich folks live.

My curiosity was peaked. It seemed odd to me that I’d never seen it before, and also odd that it was even there. I hadn’t seen such a water tower since leaving the Midwest many years ago.

Since I was driving, while trying to explain this to myself, I couldn’t see it clearly. I was on my way to Albertson’s to cash in a bunch of loose change in their coin machine. I pulled into the lot, and maneuvered myself so I could see the object/tower more closely.

It was then that I realized that this ‘thing’ was NOT a water tower. It was hovering just above the trees, and appeared to have just come out of a very dark, stormy, cloud front that was hanging along the ridge crest. These cloud banks are very common here as this was the last storm of the season.

I was able to get a very good idea of its size/shape because it was so close to the top of the trees, and only a few blocks away. I’d say it was anywhere between 50 feet to 75 feet in diameter. It had a dull, but reflective surface. It sort of looked like old metal. There were absolutely NO protrusions, windows, lights, or any other markings on it that I could see. It was perfectly smooth and shaped like a giant, somewhat flattened football, but with the ends distinctly rounded off.

As I watched, it began moving…VERY slowly. It hugged the tree tops as it came forward, and down. It moved closer until it was only about two blocks away. It was extremely clear! There was absolutely NO fuzziness about it. There was no noise that I could hear.

It continued to move down the hillside towards me, and then stopped briefly…still only a few feet above the houses. Then, it began to move to my left. Again, it was moving ever so slowly. I watched it until it went across a well traveled main road, and then disappeared behind a large business building.

Now, all that being said, the most interesting thing about my sighting was that NO ONE else seem to be seeing it! NO ONE stopped to look, and it appeared that no one was even seeing it except for me!?!? I watched the papers for days afterward to see if it had been reported by anyone else. It never showed up in the papers.

Another odd aspect to my sighting is this: I’m an avid UFO inquirer, and have been since I was a teenager, and some friends of mine once had an experience that freaked them out. This was in McPherson, Kansas, circa 1961. So… …why didn’t I jump in my truck and pursue it? Here’s what I was subjectively thinking/feeling… That it was trying to lure me, and I felt quite apprehensive/vulnerable. I felt as though maybe this was some kind of test. I felt that I was the only one that was supposed to see it. Yes, I know this sounds odd, but it’s the truth. Instead of chasing it, I went into the store to do my business.

For the record, I’ve only had one other close-up, interactive sighting in my life. That’s another story!

My dogs were barking at 5:30 a.m. so I got up to let them out and something that looked like an upside down plate flew right in front of me. It had lots of lights on the bottom side - flashing purple and red.

This is in referance to the request on Art bells show to submit sighting on the night of november 16. This is what I saw...

I was in the back yard of my house smokeing a cigarett looking into the night sky. The weather had been rainy but it had cleared up. Then in the north-eastern sky I saw what I think was a meteor. It flew by realy quick and covered a 3-4 inch space from my viewpoint. It was like a normal meteor but it had a greenish white color. Thats it.

I was traveling north on the 280 freeway in heavy traffic when I noticed a fuzzy round shape. In a few minutes it changed to a bright glowing oval shape with a slight dome and blinking lights at the top and bottom. At first I thought it was a blimp but it was so brightly glowing. I thought how could it be it was night and dark outside. Did I see a blimp or what. After it hovered over the freeway it tipped to the east. I left the freeway and spotted it over the bay as a fuzzy almost round shape.

I would like to know what I saw. An easy explanation would be a blimp that was lighted in some way. We do have blimps up at times but that have bold lettering easily seen but this was not evident. I didn't know who the ask maybe you can supply information.

The disked hovered for over an hour then moved slowly and rapidly accelerated.

I was 11 or so years of age when I observed this event.My mother worked for TWA, and we lived just a few miles from SFO. I visited the airport alot,flew alot and had real interest in aviation for a kid of that age. I was attending a school student crossing guard year end picnic at Washington Park when I observed a dime sized silver object hovering in the sky approx NW of my position. It hovered for over an hour at what appeared to be the same position, making no sound I could hear. I pointed this out to a friend who also observed this. I confess that we both had read books about UFO's. Then whatever it was, began to slowly move across the sky and then accelerated at what appeared to be an extreme high rate of speed leaving a contrail that did not disipate as quickly as the departing airliners at SFO. Defied aviation as knew it.
