When I got off the highway 294 on Lake Cook road I noticed 5 lights. At first I thought it was a one group, but very soon I realized that only one is a plane. It had distinct lights and strobe lights were blinking.

The rest was flying at 300-400 KTS in a formation, all in red lights. Not in a particular order, however they proceeded in one direction. Objects did not have any strobe lights.

I thought, maybe F-16 using after burners, but there wasn't jet engine noise at all.

Four Circle Obejcts flying Four by Foyr formation spotted Around The North East California

I was sitting down waiting for the bus with my wife. I was telling my wife how pretty the moon looked. About 10 seconds later. Four circle objects appear from nowhere and flying North East. I am guessing they where moving or flying around the Pasadena or Aldadena Direction Mountains or area. There way they were flying where in four by four formation. Two close to each other. heading East. Even my wife couldn't believe what she saw. We are 100% sure that they were not planes.

Hello Mr. Davenport,

I live very close to Lake Michigan, about a block away from the shoreline. It happened at night (around 10:30 pm) so I could not tell if it was a rectangle or an oval. The shape of the windows lead me to believe that it probably had the shape of a rectangle. I honestly don't know how long, large or what the shape of the object was outside.

From the time I saw it until the time I pulled into my garage took about about 5 minutes, max.

It was not moving.

As I approached my house I lost sight of it because my home is at the bottom of a small hill and the trees blocked my vision.

I am sorry to say that I did not leave my garage to further investigate.

What caught my attention was that it was not moving and that it had, what appeared to be, four, rectangular windows that were lit up. The light seemed to be incandescent and not fluorescent.

I hope that this is helpful.

Bright light seen in the North heading south then to vanish in a red color.

It was around the middle of September, 2010 about 7:45 PM and I was telling a friend about the planets and stars in the sky. Seconds later I noticed a bright white light in the north over the trees heading south. I watched the light waiting to see strobe lights flash. No strobe lights were seen. The unidentified object was very bright. Like when planet Venus is exceptionally bright. Only this light was moving at a steady rate. Then the light stopped dead in its tracks. Hovered for a couple of seconds then started getting smaller. It turned into a red dot and disappeared. I believe the illusion of it getting ‘smaller’ was really the object going directly up into space, hence it getting smaller. There were no sounds coming from the unknown light.

9/3/06 Highland Park, Illinois Cylinder Shaped UFO

While waiting for the Cheap Trick concert to start we were sitting around on the ground taking in the great evening. The wife and kids were there an a few friends. I can't drink spirits so I laid back on the blanket. I was starring up watching ballons float away when I noticed way, way up in the sky. This was no ballon. Taking a guess if it was about the size of a bus, it was about 2 miles up no con trail. It took about a half hour to go from South to North. I have good eyes so I kept watching it until it moved from view. Darnest thing!

A firery streak seen falling downward in the Western sky from Highland Park, MI then disappeared.

Driving west bound on Davison Freeway nearing the Southbound Lodge exchange. I observed in the sky a streak of fire heading towards the ground for about 4 seconds. The color was a bright orange. Then it just disappeaared. I listened to hear it something had fell on the news, I heard nothing reported. I'm not sure if this unidentified flying object was a craft, it was dark still. All I could see was a streak that looked like fire. What produced it? I don't know.

I am a Married mother of six. Had been homeschooling my youngest two sons until 1 year ago. My youngest son is now graduating at the local highschool looking forward to starting college in September 2006. Hobbies, sewing, knitting, crocheting, puzzles, cooking, electronics.

A red hazy object, faster than a plane and slower than a satellite, headed from the NE to the SW.

At about 9:00 PM Central Time on the night of 8/14/2004, I was at a concert with my wife and some friends. (Ravinia Festival in Highland Park, IL.) As I was looking up at the stars, I saw a red hazy sphere of light travel across the sky, from the NE to the SW. This object travelled at a speed approximately twice that of an airplane, but about half the speed of a satellite. I use these two as a judge, because I had also observed a passenger jet fly over (the place was on a flight plan for O'Hare airport) and a satellite pass over (polar orbit) earlier that evening. I was watching objects across the sky, such as balloons, planes, and satellites, and it matched none of these objects, because a balloon travelled much much slower, a plane had flashing lights in addition to the red and green wing lights, and a satellite would appear as a point of light travelling faster than this object across the night sky. In addition, this object was clearly not an asteroid, as an asteroid would appear as a bright green flash. I watched this object cross the sky - when it had gone behind trees, I checked my watch and it read as a minute or two before 9:00 PM.

The object travelled across my field of view (about 140 degrees, I was laying flat on the ground, with my head looking straight up) in about 5 minutes. Again, the object in my estimation went twice as fast as a passenger jet at cruising altitude, and about half as fast as a satellite. The object travelled at a steady pace, and did not deviate from a straight-line course.

The objects i saw were connected by little walkways{or something like walkways.} It was speeding over thelake faster than anything i hadever seen. It looked like there was some kind of light coming out of the bottom. The walkways went into the object as soon as it left. It was the strangest thing ihad ever seen. I was up that night writing my Fling Article when suddenly an intense blue light shone through my window. At once, I felt a feeling of deep calm and relaxation. Almost as if guided by an invisible force, I walked out the door and stood on the grass, facing the three glowing spacecrafts hovering before me. "Welcome!" I yelled, as the spacecrafts blinked at me. Almost without noticing it, I began to float towards the craft until I was hovering before it's entrance. The door opened as I hovered inside. I then played cards with the Aliens and we bad breakfast together before we reluctanly bid eachother goodbye and went our separate ways. The End.

A fireball like object floated in the sky ahead for about 2 minutes and then dropped into the woods below never to be seen again.

I have never really mentioned this to anyone because I did not think much of it even though it was an event that changed the way I look at the universe.

I was driving home from a friends house in a neighboring city. I was coming on a long stretch of road going back home around 1:00am and I saw this very bright fireball or light about 1 mile ahead of me over the nature center near my house.

At first I thought it was just a plane or helicopter but when it did not move or make a sound for about 20 seconds, I sped up so that I could get closer. I got out of my car at the corner of a T intersection near my house and was looking up at this object that was very very bright.

After about 2 minutes, it completely fell out of the sky into the woods of the nature center. I drove to the park entrance instead of going home but did not find anything. It was very weird and no one believed me when I said something.

I was driving with my daughter. I saw this fast moving object come from the behind the moon. I told my daughter,(she's 16), to look at the fast jet. Approximately 10 seconds past and this object was very far away from the moon. We kept looking at how fast this was moving. I'd say after 30 seconds the object was across the atmosphere. Totally opposite from where the moon is. I saw 2 lights on the object. No flashing lights. My daughter said she saw a red light.

Friday night I took my daughter out to dinner. We were driving east on Deerfield Road going into Highland Park,IL. As I recall it was about 6:30 pm(18:30. At first I saw 2 very bright lights by the moon. I could tell that they were airplanes. I saw the flashing lights. Then about a minute later I saw a bright light come from behind the moon. This object was moving very fast and heading to the south at a very high speed. I told my daughter to keep her eye on it. I told herthat it's going to fast to be a jet. I saw 2 white lights and my daughter said she saw a red light. I did not see any flashing lights, like you see on a airplane or a jet. From the location of the moon being in front of me. This object was heading in a southerly direction. From where the moon was in about 30 seconds the craft was across the sky no where near the moon.

A trianular object observed hovering, but wobbling, and then going up at a high rate of speed.

During recess time, my teaching assistant noticed this object hovering in the north east sky for about 5 minutes. He pointed it out to the other T.A. there and approximatly 19 first graders. Thy all said they saw the same thing, a hoghly reflective silvery object which wobbled in the sky for about 5 minutes and then went up at a high rate of speed. I'd like to remain anonomous, please.

The craft was larger, and flying lower than any aircraft I've ever seen and produced absolutely no sound.

First I apologize for withholding this information for so long. It was late on a cool night around 11 It was not quite summer not quite fall. I was standing outside after walking a female friend home. My friend and I were discussing constellations and stars so we were naturally looking up to the sky. It was a very clear night and you could see the entire night sky over the city. My friend and I ended up talking around a half an hour or so and she offered me something to drink, I asked if I could get some water so she went in the house to get it for me. She was in the house for around 3 minutes or so and I continued to watch the night sky. I was actually looking to spot a falling star or similar anomaly when suddendly an object started to block my view traveling southwest at a very low rate of speed. I shifted my view north slightly to see what I thought would be a plane headed to Detroit Metro Airport yet it was not. This object was perfectly triangular in s! hape, flying at an altitude of 400 feet or less, and was completely silent. There were hundreds of small lights underneath the craft but they looked to me to be windows like those of a commercial passenger jet because the light did not shine out, it shined through. There were running lights of some sort at the front tip and two corners that appeared to be externally mounted and super bright white. They were lit steady and were not blinking. It looked like a flying city and was dark gray or black metal where there was no lights. I estimated this craft to be the size of at least two football fields across (rough estimate) because once it was directly overhead it was all I could see in the sky briefly. I watched it another 30 seconds or so and then the object either accelerated away at a tremendous amount of speed or simply turned translucent because I could not see it the distance anymore. By this time my friend had returned with the water, she handed it to me and asked what was I looking for. I drank the water and told her nothing, fearing she would think I was crazy.

I never told anyone about this event until recently and even though it was so long ago the sight is burned in my memory as if it was ! today! Only after years of reading other reports and watching documentaries on sightings did I decide to offer my sighting to the community.

I stood below a very large silent floating cylander with spokes and lights projecting out of it.

There was a very large cylinder with spokes and lights coming out of it floating silently between 50 and 100 yards up. I had the impression that if the object was at ground level it would have been about a block long. I pulled my car over and got out to stare at it for a couple minutes before It registered in my mind that this was sort of freaky. I never reported this officially because I have always been skeptical of my own experience. After all of this time I am not sure of the date. I may even be off by a year.
