Fleet of UFO heading north east

Noticed fleet of uap traveling at high speeds and maneuvering unlike aircraft changing formations from a”V” shape to a straight line horizontally and back to “V” shape. A total of 50-100 ships. Really amazing to see and one can clearly tell it’s no conventional aircraft because of the maneuvers. The G forces would kill a human.

30 or 40 lights were seen ascending in a line very slowly and very far apart.

On August 8, 2024 at 10:43 pm, four witnesses saw a steady stream of white lights ascending into the night sky from just above a low tree line. Of course we did consider that they may have been starlink satellites, but according to the available starlink satellite tracking online, no such things were passing in this direction or were scheduled to even be launched on August 8. After about 5 minutes, 30 or 40 of these things had passed into the sky. 3 or four only were visible at one time, and as the highest one disappeared from sight (which looked like a light fading out) another would appear just above the horizon. Eventually we watched the last one disappear.

Caught on Drone Video

Took my DJI Mini 3 Pro up to 350' check a field for deer back behind the house, returned home to watch the video. At 1 minute 56 seconds, something grayish or silver, and round, pops into frame top center, and comes straight at the drone at a high rate of speed, passing below and to the left. At first, I thought maybe someone's kid was shooting a BB gun at my drone, but the round object comes in fast, and has a flat trajectory. I am still stunned, I know what my drone caught, I just can't wrap my brain around it.

While taking a pic of the moon and stars, I did not see the UFO in the sky; image of the UFO was captured in the photo.

I came out to my car after shopping and noticed the alignment of the moon, Venus and Jupiter. I took a picture with my cell phone, got in my car and left to run more errands. When I reviewed the picture afterwards, I noticed an object in the picture that I didn't see in the sky at the time I took the picture. The image appears blurry so it's difficult to discern the exact shape. When zooming in on the image, it appears to have a solid body with illuminated sections (lights?) and L-shaped mechanical parts.

At 1:30 AM to 7:30 AM in the eastern sky witnessed multiple spheres with orbiting red lights moving slow followed by a flash in the sky

At 1:30 AM I looked out my living room window at what I thought was a star, but, then noticed that the star was slowly moving diagonally upward to the north west, I observed this for about half an hour, when I began to observe the "star" closer I could see it was not one light but 2 possibly 3 lights, the central bigger white sphere being orbited by a much smaller white sphere and red sphere, I then called my girlfriend into the living room to look at the "star" I suggested nothing, but told her to just look at it for 5 minutes, she then told me that the "star" was moving and was being orbited by a much smaller red light, she left the room and about 5 minutes later I witnessed a huge flash in the sky like an electrical explosion moving north to south across the sky it left a brief light signature in the sky, I yelled for my girlfriend but by the time she got there the light signature had dissipated. I continued to watch the sphere for 6 hours and make the following observations, tiny specs of light appeared to move away from the sphere and towards the sphere, as it progressed slowly to the north east I observed similar spheres to the lower left and lower right of the object they were not as bright but moved in the same manner, at this point my eyes were getting tired but I could swear I was seeing faint lines of light occasionally connecting the spheres as the whole "assembly" moved slowly to the north east. I know for sure that I observed occasional flashes in the sky and barley perceptible distortions of light around the brightest sphere. After really concentrating on the object I could see that the sphere was actually surrounded by a black circle and that if it moved across a cloud it would cover it and that the sphere was moving within the circle like an iris in an eyeball. I signaled the object with my cell phone light several times each time I did so it would stop moving and hold it's position before slowly proceeding to the north east. The objects proceeded in that direction stopping periodically as if repeatedly performing some sort of function, it seemed to me it was mapping out the sky. I watched the objects move farther and farther to the north east as the sun came up, the spheres to the bottom left and bottom right of the brightest sphere eventually became too dim to see and the brightest sphere kept moving so far away by the time the sky was completely illuminated by the sun the object was no longer visible, as I said to myself "ok shows over" a jet appeared from the south west and moved extremely fast in the same north easterly direction as the object leaving a chemtrail behind.

While looking back at some pictures I had taken, I saw this strange oblong object in the air that I can’t really explain. I am a student, a science major, and I was walking across campus to my apartment after working late in the lab when I took these photos. In the moment, I didn’t notice anything amiss except that it was very foggy that night. I was taking a picture with my phone because I thought the way the nearby street lamp was illuminating some tree leaves looked interesting. I don’t recall anyone near me when I took the photos, although people may have been walking further down on the sidewalk and still had some line of vision to where this object appears to be. Because I didn’t see it in the moment, I don’t know what actions this object took either except moving due north, as it moves from right to left between the two pictures. Personally, I’m not inclined to believe it is aliens without knowing any more than I do right now, but I really do wonder how something else! , such as a drone, could have been operated, because there was heavy fog and low visibility that night.

Myself and a friend were driving down I-69 South from Bloomington, Indiana. To the right side, around where the spit occurs to 37 south and 69 south, both of us saw this object and were stunned that people were continuing to drive. It was extremely windy, so it was not a balloon. It made no sound, but it just hung stationary in the air. It didn't flow... nothing. I know the area well, it was in the direction of Crane Naval base and in a good area away where it could get a good visual of the base.

They seem to be looking for something.

They were rotating, Giving off beam's of light, They seemed like they were looking the for something. They were hovering over the airport and then moved farther out. They were flashing different colors, The Two bigger ones were brighter than the two small one's. And they all were flashing colors. The smaller two were reddish brown and also had a teal color to them that flashed, as if they were taking pictures of some sort. I know they were spacecraft's and not airplanes or helicopters I seen an airplane and it made a major wide left turn. the helicopter slowly turned around. I believe the helicopter was military it only had one light and it was blinking red. Unfortunately i couldn't see the shape but i knew when it was a UFO when i noticed two extra bright light's in the sky and no sooner then i look they zigged and then figured eight i immediately told my two friends to look.

About an hour later I looked out my window again. The object was in the exact same spot. I have never seen lights there before. It moved up and down a little bit, but not side to side. I tried to get a photo, but it was like photographing stars. The lights were too far away and not bright enough to show up on camera. I texted my friend to ask for a UFO hotline number, and when I looked back the lights were gone.

7 red lights in a V formation

There were 7 red light in a “V” formation. They suddenly appeared and did not move for a few seconds. When I pointed them out they started to shift. It was like if I was looking at a screen and they went to the bottom right corner but it was a very slow shift. The lights weren’t over head they were in the air but it was like facing me. Band of UFO's flying across the night sky.

Many UFO's spotted flying from South SW to North NE in a straight line. 100+ white dots with no tail or trail were less concentrated and even few and far between at the head and tail. Very concentrated in a perfectly straight band all the same size and luminosity. We could not determine the distance of items and there was no breaking or burning noticed as they flew across the entire sky. Took about 2 minutes to fly across they sky. This was right over the Mall of America. My dad and I were mesmerized by the objects as they looked like a fleet. The last few objects were noticed to be following far behind but were traveling the exact same speed as the rest of the objects. I have a picture of this but it's not high quality.

This happened in Bloomington, MN. I was driving on hwy 77 going north, just coming up to the side of the Mall of America. I had a friend with me sitting in the front passenger seat.

All of a sudden I shouted "WOAH!" at which point he stated, "I saw that too!" Which really shocked and excited me that he did, because I am usually alone when I see strange things in the sky, or people I am with just don't ever see what I do, most likely because they aren't paying attention, and as for me, my eyes are always in the sky! Even this time my friend wasn't really paying attention and kept looking at his phone but this object was so bright and low to the ground that it caught his eye. I'd say it was at around the hight of the Mall of America. Which would be illegally low for a plane to be flying.

The object made no noise at all and I'm not sure how to explain the shape of it with one word but it looked semi-long, cylinder shaped with round edges in the front and back. Idk if you call that cigar shaped or what. It was VERY bright and glowing a neon green and blue-ish like meshing together. Looked like something that glows in the dark but brighter than any glow in the dark toy thing I've ever seen.

It was traveling north, the same direction I was and it came about very fast, seemingly out of no where. It was like its cloaking mode malfunctioned or noticed we saw them at which point it did not get far at all ahead of my car before it just vanished right in front of us, just dissapeared so I don't mean it vanished out of view. It just plain old vanished right before our eyes! About a month after that event, I saw the same exact looking object do the very same thing, and also not too far away from the first time, but I was driving alone.

So a few weeks go by and just last night I was at work (which is with-in just a few miles of the other events) and I hear my co worker talking to someone explaining what she had seen fly right above her while she was standing outside our work having a smoke and that the thing had vanished right before her eyes, right before looking like it was going to fly right into these apartments, and she described it looking exactly as what my friend and I saw. So needless to say I hopped in that conversation real quick haha.

These 3 events all happened in the same area within 5 miles of eachother. It is right near the Minneapolis-St Paul airport but we know what planes look like and this thing was most definetely no plane I have ever seen. I'm sure I will see it again sometime. I also take lots of videos of the sky because i tend to see things quite often and I have a couple still images from different videos of something no one can tell what it is. I may post them.

Both me and my boyfriend saw a oval shaped ring of lights in the sky last night, July 15th. The balls of light were too big to be stars and the shape didn't seem to be moving, just hovering. There was no outline to the thing, just glowing white lights. There was a haze around all the lights, they weren't like regular aircraft lights. We both saw it and tried to record it, but it was too dark to see anything on a phone camera. There was only one oval shape. It looked like it could have been hundreds of feet in diameter if it was a UFO.

We sat and watched it for about 5 minutes and then we drove away and didn't see it again.

me and my friend usually smoke inside the garage but since it gets so hot in the garage we decided to smoke outside clear sky. There he noticed two white dots (not moving and there wasn't any stars out yet) spaced about two miles apart and up high. blinking white lights kind of positioned like a stop light on the two dots. then was another slightly lower than the other two that I noticed because the light was red and there isn't a power place near by so it was weird to see that red light there...the lights were kind of in a formation. Just the one that was closer to the ground seemed like it was surveillance I don't know for who or what but definitely a weird feeling. Not quite sure how long the lights were there but we were outside for about 15min. And a half hour later they were gone when we went back out again.

Various and odd light orbs in woods and low sky I am a married 59 year-old woman with a college education. I spend part of my time in a home surrounded with thick woods, at least 400 acres, near Bloomington, Indiana. There are a couple of neighbors about one acre of wooded area away from me on one side. The landscape is hilly with ravines and trees up to 100 feet tall.

Since October 2016 I have witnessed countless observations of strange lights from all sides of my home. I have become addicted to “orb gazing” every single night I visit this country home.

In a nutshell here are the types of lights I have seen over the year: Singular, stationary, white light orbs in various parts of the woods, usually from one to five feet high. I’m guessing they occur anywhere from 25 to 250 feet away from me. I have shined a flashlight on them and sometimes I can see a glowing “orb.” It’s hard to gauge their sizes, but from where I stand at the edge of the woods they are anywhere from 1-7 inches. (I’m just guessing. I’m not good with measurement.) Orbs that grow bigger and seem to shine right at me like a very bright flashlight. This scares me a bit. (I’m alone out there.) I get the sense the orbs know I’m there. The last night of observation a “flashlight” glared at me as I stood transfixed in my long driveway, then suddenly just went out! I scurried away fast and stayed on my porch.

Lights that literally move as though they were eyes and are peering around. They also wobble and will sneakily move position so that I have to keep moving my head to see where they went.

Morphing orbs. I swear they sometimes divide into two or more lights and then sometimes back to one. They sometimes change color from white to yellow, gold, orange or red. Mostly they are white.

Sometimes the orbs present themselves as “headlights,” but their lights are closer together. I get a bit spooked by these types of lights, as it appears to me that they are gawking around.

Lately I’ve observed bright flashes of light that appear like “flashlights” that move around. It’s difficult to explain how they move because they seem to be controlled by “someone” or “something,” but I am absolutely certain no human is out there. I open my windows to listen and I hear nothing.

Large reflected areas in the tree tops. I have no idea what these are. I have only been seeing them recently.

8. “Fake Stars.” I call them that because they used to fool me into thinking they were real stars. I will be looking out the upstairs windows at the trees and see sneaky little lights that first appear as stars suddenly disappear and move to another spot near, on top, or in front of the tall trees. I’ve noticed these fake stars only come out if there are real stars out. Last night I saw one on the same night as a full moon. It seemed to twinkle at me and when I watched it, it disappeared. I found it moments later in a lower segment of the tree. Then it disappeared again.

I have been able to sometimes catch the lights with my smart phone. I wish I had a really good night time video cam. It frustrates me not to be able to show what I see to others. A friend and my son have both seen at least one orb each.

I used to be such a skeptic and never believed in ufos or ghosts, but I have opened my mind to many possibilities. I go from thinking these lights are mystical, spirits, ghosts, entities from another dimension, and ufos. Because I am observing more “flashlight” movement and am getting the feeling that some of these lights are being controlled by some hidden force I am actually getting scared (again, like when I first started seeing these crazy things) and feel the need to share this information with others who are interested. Why is no one I know interested? This is phenomenal stuff happening and everyone I know doesn’t care. My god, something’s going on and we need to pay attention. At the very least it seems scientists would be all over this. They know everything about glow worms and fireflies and planets, but they are mute about the light orbs in the woods and fake stars in the sky.

So in conclusion of this long-winded essay, I just want to know what these lights are. UFOs? Should I be concerned?

Craft appear in photographs at Bloomington, IL regional airport

Photos taken in Bloomington, IL, of my daughter and me when she dropped me off at the regional airport appear to show two different types of craft in the sky above us, triangular and so-called cigar shaped.

The photos were taken on my Samsung Galaxy S6 smartphone in immediate succession, yet the craft are in different positions.

In addition, no similar shapes appeared in photos before or since, indicating not a defect with the phone's CCD. I heard nothing; the craft simply were in the photos.

It was late at night, sometime in the cold weather of 2016, I was doing my chemistry homework at my sister's house. When I got my things and was trying to leave, I noticed a big bright light right over the treeline in front of our house. At first it was a couple lights strung out into a horizontal line, I thought it was just a plane in the distance. My sister was walking with me out the door when we both stopped to watch the plane fly over because theres a small airport behind our house. After a minute or so the lights didn't seem to be getting closer and then began getting brighter and the string of lights swayed loosely from left to right like it was hung from a string. The lights would pulsate with brightness, each light seems to have the strength of a cluster of football stadium lights. They were so bright but didn't seem to be shining on anything. Then, the lights began to move around, seemingly "adjusting" themselves. They'd stack on top of each other and fold in and out, move around. There were about four lights that we saw and they'd flicker on and off. They appear to be hovering, tilting or teetering in place, they'd clump and then the next second be in a linear position. My sister and I were both very confused and waited for the flying object to get closer. It felt like forever until it finally steered around a tree down our street and right over our neighbors house. When it started getting closer to us, some of the light started flashing red and blue, so my sister assumed it was some sort of police drone.. but it was as big as, of not bigger than a family van. When it was close, it was close enough for me to be able to hypothetically throw a rock at it and successfully hit it. It got so close to us. The shape of the vehicle is hard to describe... The body was a sort of flattened sphere and had two pill shaped "turbines" on either side. From what I saw, it was a polished black color. There seemed t! o be a sort of have around it, and made me second guess how we! ll my ey es were seeing. What surrounded it was a type of hazy fog of some sort, but barely noticeable since it was dark out. The only sound I remember hearing is a light strange whirring. No helicopter blade sounds, no engine sounds, no revving or propeller, nothing. Just a quiet deep whirring. I've Googled big drones and police drones, nothing near matches what my sister and I saw. We took notes and drew pictures as soon as we went back inside to tell our parents.

My dad was dropping me off at my grandma's house, but she forgot to unlock a door for me to go in, so my dad waited and I went around to the back door to find it liked as well. I then went back around front to find that my dad had left.

It was just as the sun was barely coming up for sunrise and I was looking west, when a cat suddenly snuck up on me... It Iiked to have given me a heart attack! But it looked up past me and meowed. Wondering why on Earth a cat would look in the sky, as because grandma still hadn't unlocked the door, I looked up at what he had meowed at. I looked up to find two craft at high altitude that looked just like a star...

At first, I thought it was just me, but then I stood their and watched one of them stop completely, while the other one morphed into the other than split again and started doing a figure 8 pattern around the other just about that time my grandma opened the door and I just stopped thinking about it... Later though it started to raise suspicion and I just now got a chance to report it.

7 low flying, in formation aircraft seen over Bloomington, IL.

I was driving southbound on Towanda Ave, over the railroad bridge off of Ft. Jesse Rd. my son and I witnessed 7 black objects flying in formation about 1000 ft off the ground. They were flying from northwest to south east in a rapid manner.

At first, I thought they were Chinook helicopters as they routinely fly over head. However, being a 16 year vet of the Army, I've never seen Chinooks fly that fast and never in that close of formation.

Also, the profile seemed skinnier than that of a Chinook.

I heard no noise as is typical with Chinooks even at the distance, about a mile out, from my position. It could be drilling aviation unit, but I'm not certain that it was.

There is a large starlike object currently West of my location. It has reappeared 3 times in last 3 weeks, and it is verified that it is not a star. It is the brightest thing in the sky, unmoving. Planes can be seen flying near it, and for comparison i would say 20 X larger than the jet liners at least.

There is no star in that side of the sky that is even 1/10 as bright. Can anyone check this out with some tech?

Witnessed blue orb being chased by fighter jets.

I get home from work around 3am and sometimes when the weather is nice, I'll grab a beer and just sit out by my fire pit and enjoy the peace & quiet, and the stars.

On this particular night is was quiet and the skies were crystal clear when I caught a small moving blue light out of the corner of my eye. My first thought was a satellite (which are a fairly common sights on clear nights at 3am) but the instant my eyes fully focused it was obviously not a satellite. It was a small glowing blue orb and it couldn't have been more than 2-3000 ft off the ground. It came from the west and was flying due east & moving fast but it wasn't making a sound...it was flying in total silence.

As I watched it pass over my house, I no more got the words, ((profanity deleted)) out of my mouth, when I heard a loud jet engine, followed by a second loud jet engine.

I turned my focus back to the west, and that's when I saw the beacon lights of two fighter jets flying in formation, and they were on the same heading, and altitude, as the blue orb. I suppose the fighters were trying to chase it, but the orb was flying twice as fast as they were. I then turned my attention back at the orb, and watched it fly out of sight then did the same with the fighters.

Once they were gone, I just sat down and was in awe at what I just saw.

What the blue orb was, I do not know, which strictly means I couldn't ID it, thus the UFO designation. It could have been an alien craft, or it could have been a highly advanced military aircraft, although we only have a couple small military air reserve units in the area, and nothing more as far as I know. So I doubt top secret aircraft are being developed and test flown at or near our small air guard units in central Illinois...but who knows.

So in summary, a strange blue glowing orb, with no beacon lights & no sound flew at high speed over my house in complete silence at 2-3000 ft and it was being chased by two fighter jets at 3am in the morning. Things like this don't happen in my town at any time of the day or night let alone at 3am. Once they were all gone, I finished my beer then went to bed wondering what I had seen and if it was aliens I wondered what in the hell an alien could have possibly found interesting in Central Illinois.

I've been out there multiple times since then but other than the occasional satellite I haven't seen any more UFO's but I'm still looking.

Was driving north down 12th ave to the super america on 90th when I noticed several blue and white orbs hovering about a 1000 feet or more in the sky. Looked like they were above 77 but perhaps further east.

They were scattered in formation but grouped in the same general area. I had a previous sighting Aug 2012 of a dozen orange orbs flying in formation north over 35w. Past right over my car. white on camera/purple off camera lights floating in the sky.

On 07/23/2012 at 22:55 pm I was at an assigned post watching the CCTV camera's of the building I was guarding, at 22:55 pm I looked at the camera for the parking lot that faced I noticed a white light floating obove the tree line going in a right hand direction, the whtie light was too larger to be an airplane or a helicopter as the white light was going right in then shot strait up in a vertical direction and shoot strait back down, at 23:00 I observed a gap in the tree line that was completely dark and then there appeared to be a huge round white light that appeared in the gap in the trees. at 23:05 I noticed a third white light shining slightly obove the trees as well as the first bright white light going back and forth above the tree line, I went out side of the building at 23:10 in an attempt to see if what I was seeing was real but when I went outside the lights were not white but a light purple color, the appeared white on the CCTV because it was a bl! ack and white camera. I went back to continue to monter the CCTV camera for that part of the parking lot and the white lights/puple lights were still moving in and out and up and down out of the tree lines. I signed off my post at 23:30 and went down the road were the lights were and there was nothing there.

Two reddish lights traveling slowly across sky about 40* high. Closer than airplanes fly in formation.

I was walking down a street and looked south and saw two lights traveling together from West to East. They were at about 35* and seemed closer than two planes would travel together. They were red. They were moving a little slower than you’d expect a plane to move. I forgot about them then saw an email from a fellow co-worker at MSP airport who sent an email to our co-workers at the airport asking about the two lights flying across the sky. Did anyone have information on them? She received no responses but mine.

Two bright, large crafts moving slowly in a north to south direction over Bloomington, IL on Sunday, March 25th at 8:45pm.

At 8:45pm, Central Standard time, I was in my driveway and witnessed a large, glowing object moving from the north to the south directly above my position at a relatively slow rate of speed. It was the color of a flame - the illumination remained consistent - except that, looking through binoculars, it appeared as if the "light" was moving from left to right - as if scanning the sky, in a consistent pattern. The craft made no sound, and appeared to be at an altitude of approx. 2,000 - 3,000 feet. When the craft was directly overhead, the light was no longer visible, however it was apparent that it was circular in shape. As the craft moved from directly overhead southward, a dim light was visible, but only a fraction of what was emanating from the "front." After the initial craft disappeared in the south sky, a second craft appeared moving in the same north - south track, at the same rate of speed. Both crafts were identical in appearance. Neither craft had any blinking lights, nor were they moving at a speed that would be required by an airplane to remain aloft.

I took a few pictures of the crafts, only one of which turned out decent. I also filmed some HD video, however, because it was dark, it did not turn out well.

The first craft was witnessed by my wife and myself. The second craft was also witnessed by our nextdoor neighbors (who we invited to watch with us).

Orange Ball Rising Above Town At 45 Degree Angle

Saw orange ball from SE side of Bloomington while facing directly NW. I was on East side of small subdivision lake with dog at 7:30 PM. The object rose at roughly 45 degrees up from somewhere towards the South West side of town over the houses on opposite side of lake (off in distance somewhere). It then suddenly/sharply arched slightly higher and back down slightly and continued at a 30 degree angle up and I lost it as it went through cloud cover towards the North. The sighting lasted roughly 20 seconds or so.

This was facing a side of town away from all air traffic which made me certain it was not a plane, as was the fact that there were no strobes (only the orange steady glow) and the fact that airport was directly behind me at the time.

A V shaped craft with about 6 lights on each "wing" above Bloomington IL.

Last night I let my dog out in the back yard and earlier in the night I had seen Venus and Jupiter.   I was looking to see if I could still see them but they had set by this point.  When I looked up to the south west away from my house I saw a V shaped object flying from left to right (south to north).  It was a flying V of orangish dim lights with the point of the V being the front.  There were about 6 lights on each "wing" of the V.  The individual lights looked strange and more of a halo than a normal light having a dimmer center and brighter ring around the center of each light.  I watched the object for about 30 seconds and tried to pull my phone out and take a picture but was not able to get one, probably because it was too dim.  Within a few seconds of this the object moved behind some trees and I lost track of it behind the bare branches. I live close to the Bloomington IL airport and am used to hearing and seeing planes.  

This was not like anything I have ever seen before and it was completely silent.  I did have the thought that it may be multiple planes flying in formation, but the lights did not look like lights I've ever seen on a plane before.   In addition to that, it would have been about a dozen planes flying in a perfect V formation which does not seem likely.  It was not moving across the sky very fast so it was either low and slow, or at a pretty high altitude.  If this object was moving the speed of a normal jet and at about the same altitude as them then it was much larger than any passenger plane.  I have no idea what this thing was.  The only thing I've ever seen before this that looked anything like it was from a Discovery tv show about UFOs.  I'm not exactly convinced it was some alien spaceship, but I do know it wasn't something we normally see flying around.

2 or more UFO's on video at sunrise

The security camera in the driveway recorded what appear to be at least 2 or more unidentified flying objects. It was an especially windy morning and the sun was just rising.

About the camera: The camera self-adjusts to color from night to day. The camera is a Sony PTZ but I couldn’t zoom in any farther as the camera is in a fixed location; I can only zoom to the center of that view. The camera is facing east. I can only save whole minutes of video to the Lorex HD/system. Sorry for the long wait before it actually starts.

The UFO’s seem to be coming in straight towards the camera, which is facing east, and also recede in the same direction from whence it/they came. From the video it seems that first there is one UFO and then another just pops into view at 06:01:52.

There may be more than 2 objects. It’s really difficult to tell as the wind keeps blowing the tree branches which partly obscure the view towards the end. I don’t believe these objects to be planets.

So, basically UFO appears from the east and then another UFO slowly comes into the view just to the left of the first one. Then the first one is not really visible when a UFO suddenly pops into view again just to the left of the second one. Then possibly the first and second one merges. It's hard to tell if one is just behind the other or if it has merged with it instead or left altogether. All then seem to come a bit closer before finally receding in the same direction that it/they came from.

There is an airport, Ontario International (ONT), in nearby Ontario but the flight airways are more to the right/south coming in over Riverside. Also, airplanes don't stay in one place as these objects did. While helicopters can hover in place these objects do not fit the shape and made no sound. At any rate I didn't notice any red or green lights that aircraft are required to have.

I'm above average intelligence and not prone to making things up. The video is 128mb avi file format.

Bright sphere sitting still in sky, after 3 seconds it moved impossibly fast vertically, down behind horizon.

At 2:00 am, on Thursday, September 15, while driving North on France from Old Shakopee Road, spotted a bright spherical object in the sky. It did not move for about three seconds, then it flew vertically down behind the horizon line. The original position of the sphere was high in the sky, the time it took to disappear behind the horizon was less than half a second. It was incredibly fast. It left no trail.

A friend who was driving in a car about five car lengths in front of me saw the object as well and described it the same way.

I shortly viewed a short lived cluster of 8 lights at approximately 1500 feet over a swamp area in a river valley by an airport..

At 9:50pm last Saturday night, I was driving down a 4 lane in traffic on Highway 494 through Eagan/Bloomington MN. I was driving downhill into the Minnesota river valley. This area is extremely close to the MSP Airport and the planes that are landing travel right over the highway from left to right.

The weather that evening was about 75-80 degrees and there were thunder storms with lightning in the area. The winds were virtually non-existant.

I noticed a cluster of about 8 tiny white/yellowish lights over the swamp area/river valley ahead and to the left at about 1500 feet up. These lights were moving around in small circles and occasionally some of the lights would dissapear and then reappear. I pulled my car over to the shoulder to watch these lights to try to figure out what they were and rolled down my window to try to listen. The passing cars were too loud so I just watched the lights move around in small circles and slowly within 2 minutes all of the lights one by one fizzled out and disappeared.

These lights were about 1/8 of a mile away from the airplane landing flight path so I knew that they were in an odd location. There were airplanes actively landing at the time and it is highly possible that these strange lights could have been seen by either the passengers or pilots of these commercial jets.

My background is such that I am 42 years of age, male, in the transportation industry, and have driven that stretch of highway for the past 25 years. I have never seen any lights or activity in that area before.

2nd time I have witnessed this, however, the night before I am reporting this, I saw a strange, bright, flashing (twinkling fast) star. Which now I think was the same craft. It is not very obvious unless you stand there and watch it with a reference point as, like I said it just looks like a very flashy star. But it steadily but slowly descends. I can see red in the color but only after looking at it for a while. It is in the Western sky, slightly south. Has been in the same spot both times I have witnessed it descending. Like a said, it looks very much like a star except it descends slowly, however, faster than the night sky changes.

My wife and I woke up to a loud noise flying directly over our house at 2:00 AM. It was a low humming sound accompanied by a repetitive rapping/banging sound. For lack of a better comparison, it sounded like a Harley-Davidson flying over our house at about 50 miles per hour, and it was much different than the sound of a helicopter as there was a sort of deep, clunking sound at the rate of 5-10 per second. As the first object passed there was another one that followed a few seconds later, as if one UFO was following closely behind the other. We had gotten 13 inches of snow that night so vehicles were non-existent. I woke up immediately thinking UFO as the sounds were so foreign to me and they were traveling over our house in a path perpendicular to the road. My wife thought it was a snow plow at the time, but woke up realizing the plows hadn't gone through at all yet, and didn't until 7:30 AM. I'm convinced this was a UFO and am curious to learn if anybody el! se heard anything that night, or better yet saw something.

Light traveling at high altitude flaring into a bright "star" then fading again

Every evening I take my dog out into the backyard and check out the stars while the dog does his business. On clear nights I try to spot satellites and track them as far as I can (a habit I had since I was a kid). On this night, I spotted what looked like a typical fuzzy blueish satellite traveling slowly accross the center of the sky from south to north. As the light headed north it grew brighter then "flared" into a very bright diamond shape for about 5 seconds. Then, the light dimmed as it traveled and returned to the fuzzy dot and continued on it's path. Theres a large, very bright star/planet in the southern sky at that time of night and I would say the brightness was the same.

I had the impression of something entering our atmosphere for a moment, then leaving on the same path since it never burned out like a shooting star. At no point did the light change speed or it's trajectory.

I would also like to mention that I saw something similar to the Bloomington report on 5/11/10. However, I thought it was closer to 10pm. I'm not sure what the person is referring to as the "right" side of the sky, but what I saw was red/orange light travelling slightly southwest direction. It was moving about the same speed of a commercial jet, however it was single bright light with no strobes that you would expect to see on a jet. There was no sound, however it came to an almost immediate stop directly above, faded, then disappeared. I would even describe the fading as if the object rose directly up as it disappeared because it grew smaller as it faded.

At approximately 5:45 pm on Saturday August 21st. I went for a bike ride. I looked up into the sky as I heard a jet over head. I saw the jet, as it passed I saw two round white objects I thought were birds; I stopped my bike to look. They both were intertwining with each other in a circular fashion, then they would move apart a little, then intertwine again as they moved south west. After a few seconds of watching, One object dimmed and then turned silver, and then disappeared. The other object went very fast to the west for a second then almost stopped and then just drifted off to the west, it did disappear at one point then reappeared. I then lost sight of it. By the way these objects were not near the jet they were probably a mile or so closer to me that the jet.

Sighting by about 10 persons aged 6-50, orange redish pulsating globes, southern california

There were a few of us present for this sighting as we’d been gathered all day for my cousin’s baby shower and were outside in the process of saying our good-byes when the sighting occurred. Present were: Myself, 28, stay home mom of two, Softball/Baseball coach, umpire, and player My Husband – 30, Installation Technician/Manager 7+ yrs My children – ages 3 and 6, 6 yr old in Kindergarten and one of the top students in class, perfect attendance My brother – 19, college student Cousin – 25, Warehouse worker, college student Cousin’s girlfriend – 22, 9 months pregnant with first child Girlfriend’s brother and cousin – 23 & 25, males, background unknown My Aunt – early 50’s, preschool teacher 10+ yrs, Devout Christian My cousin and I were outside at approximately midnight PST on the evening of 5/15/2010 turning into 5/16/2010. We observed about 12-13 much larger than stars size circles that looked like glowing, orange, pulsating globes. As we watched them float slowly towards each other into a pattern, he went inside to get the others present.

Within seconds there was about 10 of us, ranging from my youngest of 3 years, and oldest of 6 years, to my brother, 19, my cousin and his friends and girlfriend, ranging from 19-25, then myself, 28, my husband, 30, and my aunt, early 50's.

As we all stood in my aunt’s front yard we observed a few of the lights just disappear. The remaining lights began to move into a formation of a straight line, each equally spaced apart. They were moving from right to left across the sky at this point. This happened in Bloomington, CA as we were looking I would say South/South East and watched the lights move I’d say North East.

There was no noise. There were no other crafts in the sky in that area at that time or for any time after. After the lights assembled in their line and proceeded in formation, all but one of the lights disappeared. Just poof, gone. No fading, twinkling, or anything similar. Just gone. One final light remained that slowly started moving South/South East away from us. But it wasn’t just away from us. It was up. And I mean way up. It almost started going literally straight up into the air into space it seemed from where it had been. It lost its “Glow” but still had a very distinct light to it, and was easy to follow as it disappeared into the heavens.

My son spoke of how scary the experience was, but he truly doesn’t understand, as neither do we, what truly happened. We've also submitted photos we were able to get plus a picture my 6 year old drew to the website.

My cousin and I have been going up on the roof of my three-story building every clear night for the past week or two, and last night, we finally saw some activity.

First, right when we got up on the roof, to the right from us in the sky I saw a small, bright orange light that was moving across the sky. Then, it got dimmer quickly and then COMPLETELY disappeared.

About a half hour afterwards, my cousin and I were watching what I thought was a star. It is there every night in about the same place, and blinks red, blue, and other colors almost like a strobe light. Last night, though, we were watching it very closely and in less than an hours time, the "star" had moved very slowly to the right, so much so that it could not have been a star. Then, the star was moving up and down slightly, and left to right very slightly.

Soon after it was moving that way, another small, bright orange light appeared up and to the right of it, OUT OF NOWHERE went down and to! the right and back up fairly quickly, and completely disappeared.

Afterwards, the bright "star" moved even more to the right and up, and right before we went inside, another small bright orange light appeared and flew right over us and the roof.

Daylight Sighting of Cigar-shaped object over Bloomington

Cigar-shaped Object Location: Bloomington, Indiana Date: 28April2010 Time: 03:00 PM, EST Weather Conditions: Full sun, no clouds # Witnesses: 1 Witness (name on file) was outside a local cafe’ on Covenanter Drive when he noticed a cigar-shaped object at approximately 30 degrees above the horizon, SSE of his position.

Using the ‘dime held at arm's length reference,’ the length of what I saw was approximately 4 dimes, and the width was approximately 1/2 dime. It was moving from east to west, slowly, from my left to my right, and was not only moving forward, but was also slowly ascending, without changing attitude." The object was medium gray in color with a very slight tinge of copper. When asked if the object produced a sound, the witness responded, No sound emanating from the object that I could discern." Additional witness observation: At the same time, there were also two normal jet aircraft that were visible in the SSE sky, with normal contrails. One of these was flying north, and the other one was flying south, but at very high altitude.

Larger craft dropping off smaller crafts that lingered for over 5 hours.

I first saw a strange light in the sky that very much looked like an approaching helicopter. It caught my attention because it was orange, where usual helicopters have a white glow. I stared at it for a few seconds and then it started dropping smaller white lights, and my first reaction was that it was dropping bombs. I didn;t think it was a UFO at this point, I thought it was an army helicopter or other army aircraft. I left my room to go get my mom;s camera and returned with her and the camera only to find that the mysterious orange light was gone. I looked throughout all the windows in the house, it was nowhere in sight. I thought about it and brushed it off as a helicopter dropping flares because it was the only logical explanation I could come up with. This was at approximately midnight on March 27, 2010.

About an hour later, I woke up and my window was still open. It was then I saw that the smaller crafts that were dropped were all clustered and flying around in unusual patterns in the North West sky out of my window. I looked at them for four hours and couldn't figure it out. I'm positive that they were what came out of the orange glowing craft. They would fly diagonally, horizontally, vertically, and make turns that couldn't possibly be made by any aircraft here on Earth. I seen them appear from point A to point B. There was no trace of light as they flew because it was so fast. They, like the orange UFO, were silent. I watched them from 1:00 AM to about 5:00 AM then I thought I had enough and shut the blinds and tried to sleep. I didn't see when, or if, they left, but I did hear a loud and unusually low jet fly by a little before sunset that woke me up. I checked, and didn't see them anymore after that.

The orange UFO was high in the open sky, and the white smaller ones were unusually lower than the mountain range that is outside my window. Both the crafts looked like simple circular lights. It was an extremely windy night so the sky was clear.

I don't see how I could be the only one to see this, I'm sure others seen it as well. It lasted for hours. My moms camera and my phone couldn't focus on the objects, so no pictures came out that would show anything.

When driving, a moderately large and bright fireball shaped object was seen falling from the sky.

When driving back to my apartment at about 0:45 on December 1st, 2009, I saw a large, moderately bright, yellow to orange fireball shaped object falling from the sky towards the earth. I only saw this for a very short time, as I was driving. It stayed lit and falling until it fell behind the horizon. There was a tail to the object. Driving home saw object with white lights

I saw this object and thought it was a plane with landing lights on; but then I noticed all the extra white lights on the body and wings of the object. The wings were much shorter than that of an airplane and was much darker than an airplane. The object was oblong with short stubby wings. The object was first seen between Main and Center streets in Bloomington, IL moving SW and not making any noise that I could hear on February 17, 2009. The objects underbelly is where line of extra white lights from front to back and several lights on the wings were noticed. I only saw this one object in the area.

13 AUG 08, Bloomington IN, approximately 10 PM: Orange dot moving slowly below Big Dipper then very fast, up & down 5 times, then gone.

I was speaking with my mother on a cordless phone in my back yard at approximately 22:00. I was looking at the big dipper to the North when I noticed a small orange dot moving slowly across the sky just below the bottom star of the big dipper ( I think it's called "Pollux". I thought it was an airplane at first, then I noticed that it wasn't blinking. I watched it more closely because I then though it might be a satellite or the International Space Station. Suddenly, the orange dot moved extremely quickly up several degrees, down about double the distance, back up the same distance as the previous move, then down at an angle right near the star Pollux and it blinked out. It was gone. This is my first experience seeing something like this. I am submitting this report because I would like to know if anyone else reported anything similar at the same date/time/location.

It started by seeing two lights hovering around outskirts of town while driving on a highway that goes around the edge of Bloomington/Normal (Veteran's Parkway). It seemed like a helicopter based on flight speed and altitude (1000 ft or lower) Then the object appeared to hover motionless above downtown area. Then, it seemed to be getting very close to my residence after I pulled into my driveway. I exited my vehicle, and walked out onto the street to get a better view. The two lights were directly in line with my street (Koch St. in Bloomington) Then, the object appeared to bank to the right, and I saw 4 lights in a triangle formation. One light at the front, and 3 across the back. It made no noise whatsoever, and slowly moved across the sky from west to east. It then dissappeared behind trees and houses while I was looking at it from my backyard porch.

Witnessed a bright, vertical beam of light on two occasions in rural areas of Central Illinois. I would estimate both to be around 10 yards wide.

On the night of 6/28/07 at about 11pm at the dam at lake Monroe while i was fishing.Coming from the norteast was a orange oval shaped light at a high rate of speed.At armes lenght it was about the sze of a quarter.the light was bright orange flying just under the cloud cover.It streaked in the stoped and hoveredfor a few seconds then the color changed to a light amber color and it streaked off .About 20 seconds after that two jets came screaming bye.They do fly this area all the time so im sure it was military jets.

Large, Low and Fast Silver Object Over Bloomington IN

I am visiting my family on their farm, which is on the north side of Bloomington, IN, near Oliver Winery, and a mile west of State Rd 37.

I went outside to get something from the car and a large silver object streaked across the sky. It was going from the east to the west and was very low. It went so fast that I could not see the shape. It was large, flying low, maybe 500 feet up or so, and traveled very fast.

It did not emit beams of light but the object was bright.

The sky was clear and I saw two planes flying very high, both headed generally north as I looked to see if I would see anything else.

I have been a sky-watcher for years and I have never seen anything like this.

While driving home in Bloomington, we turned westbound on Jurupa from Locust Ave. I noticed a green light in the sky directly in front of us in the sky. At first I assumed that it was a plane since I only seen it at a glance and since Ontario Airport is so nearby. Figured I seen the plane as it was turning and only seen the green and not the red lights to signify port and starboard. After a brief 1-1.5 seconds the light moved westbound in a quick motion leaving behind a bright green streak of light. This speed was too fast to be a plane, jet or helicopter. First assumption than was a shooting star however the fact that it was stationary when first seen and green leads my wife and I to assume it was something else. Please post any comments if there were other witnesses. I have seen number shooting stars in the past all were white to a yellowish color this was solid green and the streak left behind was very wide more like a strip.

Light was seen moving from East to West about 2/3 above the southern horizon. At first we thought it might be a satellite, but then it started changing speed and direction. It seemed to randomly wobble back and forth, and slow down and speed up. Whatever it was, it was pretty high up. No shape could be seen, just the light, which was as bright as some of the brightest stars. As it approached the western horizon, the light stopped and stayed in one place while it slowly faded away.

I was with a friend in her van, and we where looking into the woods behind my house... We looked up and there was a freaky white (circle) light falling in the sky. It was way to close to be a shooting star! It was there and then it vanished behind an apatment building. The person I was with said that it was a UFO, but just to be on the safe side we both made a wish and put our hands in our pockets, just in case it was a shooting star. We tryed to call a hotline one hour after it happened but it was out of service.... so I went online and found you.

We are both college aged kids just up late visiting my boyfriend at work.... nothing special about tonight. All I know is that it was really creepy, and I just want to know if anyone else saw, whatever it was. Bloomington Indiana is the mecca for all freaky migration... alot of strange things go on here.

Series of stationary lights in the sky, unmoving and constant for apprx an hour and ten minutes.

At 11:10 pm on 05/08/06, I was at work and my wife phoned me from her place of employment to inform me that her fellow employees, and others at her place of work, were looking at an object in the sky. She asked if I could see the object from my worksite.

I was unable to leave my station for about 15-20 minutes, but other employees were already outside observing.

About 11:45 pm, I was able to leave my station and view the object. What I saw is as follows: I saw what appeared to be a configuration of lights that you would commonly find on a commercial passenger jet. A vague light at the front, much like an illuminated cockpit. A white strobe light underneath was pulsing. At what I considered to be the rear, a slightly larger constant light, not very bright, was the color of a slightly yellow moon.

Although there was nothing spectacular about what I was seeing, the most remarkable aspect of this sighting is that there was absolutely no motion or noise. The object did not appear to hover because this would infer that it was making adjustments in horizontal and vertical attitude. This object seemed to be set in the sky much the same as any radio tower or water tower light that you might observe. But, as my collegues and I were aware, there was absolutely no tower or fixed light in that area.

Between my colleagues and me, we viewed this object for about an hour and ten minutes.

When the first person at my site had to leave to go home, they saw the object as they were driving away, they looked down at the road, and looked back towards the object again, and it had disappeared. He then called us, we went back outside, and there was absolutely nothing in the sky.

The next morning, I phoned a local radio program, and asked if there were any other reports of sightings. They informed me that somebody had called at the same time that night, and reported seeing a "blimp."

Noiseless, motionless, seemingly shapeless object hovers over rooftops around midnight.

At approximately 11:10 pm on 5/8/06, I had just arrived at work. I heard my fellow employees calling for another employee to come outside to see something. A few minutes later, another employee came in and asked if me and a few others if we wanted to see a "blimp."

We walked outside, and approximately 500 feet in front of me, and approximately 500-1000 feet in the air (about the height of an average radio tower), we saw three lights in a triangular formation (one green light on top, two white lights below). On of the lights might have been flashing slowly. There was no silouette or object that we could make out for them to be connected to, it was as black as the night sky. Below, but from our view unconnected to the lights, was a flat, bottomside of a rectangle, which was not necessarily illuminated, but had a grayish tint to it (like it was reflecting the moon, kind of thing), and it didn't appear to be connected to anything. The object was motionless. We watched it for approximately 10 minutes without it moving, and the night was silent. It seemed that the employees who had called it a "blimp" were assuming that's what it was because there was no solid shape, outline, or reflection (other than the previously mentioned rectangle) to be seen. It did NOT look like a blimp.

I went back inside to call my husband who was working at another worksite about 1.5-2 miles north and east of me, and asked him if he could see anything. He informed me that others were already going outside to look at something, and that he would go check as soon as he could. He was unable to go out for apprx. 30 minutes, but when he did, was able to see a "side" view of lights. I assumed what I was seeing was a "rear" view because when I went back outside to check on it around midnight, it was about 1000 feet away instead of 500 feet.

I was able to find a website that had blimp schedules for 2006, and there were no scheduled blimp flights in our area for May at all, as they were all in the South for golf tournaments and the Kentucky Derby. There was no sound or motion to indicate a jet or helicopter.

Having grown up on a Navy base in S. California, I am quite familiar with all kinds of aircraft, and the sounds that they make...even the Stealth fighters and bombers make some noise. This object made no noise, had little to no movement, and had no form.

Those of us who observed this object at my workplace had mixed opinions as to what this object was, ranging from a military experiment to UFO's, but we were all clear that the object was NOT a blimp. I did not see it leave, although an employee that works with my husband reported seeing it, looking away for a moment, then looking back at it, and it was missing from the sky.

On friday 11/24/05 my son and i were duck hunting on lake monroe.we launched our boat at paynetown rec area. About 615 am we seen some bright lights of the east shore of moores creek we thought it was a boat duck hunting and dismissed it as that.At about 715 to 730 my son said look theres a balloon i looked over at it ad it was stading still there was a 15 to 20 mile an hour n nw wind and it was standing still no noisether was no movment so i know there was no line attached to it and it was cone shaped not like a balloon at about two hundred yards i would estmate it was about 60 foot tall by 20 ft wide and about 150 ft off the ground.It sat there about 20 mins and just moved slowly off to the eastuntil it was out of sight about 930 it didnt float like a balloon it moved as if it was guied or controled to the east. it did not drift as a balloon for it wold have went south east with the way the wind was blowing

A dark triangle moving through the sky.

I was outside my friend's aparptment in the city, looking up at the sky. The star I was looking at suddenly dissapeared then reappeared. Catching my attention, I then noticed that there was a large triangular object moving westward through the sky without any lights or sound. It moved slowly and I could see its outline because blocked out the background behind it and it also reflected a small amount of light from the city below.

Thinking that my eyes were playing tricks on my or my glasses had a glare, I removed my glasses and was still able to see the object and the small amount of light reflected from it. I watched it until it became hard to differentiate from the night sky. At that time I ran inside to get my friend.

Saucer shaped craft with kaleidoscope lights.

I am a 53 year old mother of four. I have always considered myself to be a sensible person and faith believing. What I saw on that cold evening in the sky left me puzzeled. This object was at my best guestimation 70 to 80 feet across with lights on the bottom of this disk. The lights were moving from the outer edge toward the center in the shapes of rectangles. It appeared to have louvers toward the center. When the light reached the center it would radiate back out toward the edge. It appeared as if you were looking in a kaleidoscope. The lights were a brilliant white. I watched this for 3 minutes as it moved from northeast direction to a southwest direction. I went to the house to get my husband. When we came out, it was gone.

my friend and I were on agua mansa and we were talking about how the air felt weird, eeire... and there were 3 lights that were moving around in big circle formation-uniform speed and it seemed like when they crossed paths their lights would get brighter and kind of more compact-at first they were softer looking...but got brighter and more intense with each circular rotation(all 3 went in opposite directions, but joined together at one point...at least one light was kind of blue and one was yellowish.) We watched them for an hour...I got a picture, but you can't really tell what it is because it looks so small. We also had a tape recorder going and it seems to be going crazy with staticy electricity...it even totally stops for an unknown period of time

While driving south of Bloomington, IL, on Interstate 55 I saw a flat, white-illuminated object to the northeast. I was able to see it for approximately 30 seconds before losing it. I was wearing sunglasses and took them off but wasn't able to see it as well. Putting the sunglasses back on, I was able to clearly distinguish this object against the sky for a few more seconds. I would describe it as a flat line perhaps slightly bulged in the middle.

UFO observed south of Bloomington Indiana; moved horizontally

It was an extremely clear dark sky with few clouds. It was also extremely quiet out with no extraneous sounds observed. I saw an object that seemed to have three lights on it and at first thought it was an airplane inbound to Bloomington airport. I noticed a beam of light extending from the front of the craft which I assumed was landing lights. The beam extended such a distance that I called my partner outside to observe the light trail. The object did not appear to be moving, so I assumed it was heading towards me. After a few minutes, the object moved roughly 10 degrees horizontally to the west, then a few degrees back to east, and then again a few degrees to the west. At this point the craft came again to a standstill. It then began to drop slowly towards the ground and was occluded by a line of trees. This is the last I saw of the craft. As a last note, I noticed strange cloud formations that seemed to lead to the original location of the object. While this could have been coincidence, the clouds looked like an entry trail.

3 spheres flashed colrs as we were riding our bikes in a circle around a lantern.

Some friends and I were at a local basketball court that is in the open and we had a lantern in the center of the court and we were riding our bicycles around the lanternto make the sparkly lights when we noticed 3 flashing sphere shaped objects in the sky that were about the size of marbles. They were constantly changing colors and "jumping" around in the sky and making a low droning saoud suckh as that of a muffles vacuum cleaner.Attempting to catch thes objects, were what appeared to be millitary style fighting jets. The objects flashed colors such as green, yellow, red, and blue. When we all stopped riding in circles so did the objects in the sky. After about 20 seconds the spheres turned a crimson red color and then jetted away at an incredible speed. The bjects left a trail that was visible for about 2 minutes. These trails had the shine of somthing that had a color of mother of pearl. And then it was gone. We continue to ride our bikes in hopes that the "aliens" will return.

White/red/blue light over Bloomington, IN between 11pm and 3am on November 11 and 13.

At about eleven in the evening sometime in the second week of November, 2001, (I'm not entirely sure of the date, though I think it was the eleventh,) my roommate directed my attention out our dorm window to a strange light in the sky northwest of the IU Bloomington campus. It was admittedly rather hazy that night, though what kind of conventional aircraft appears as a bright light periodically highlighted by flashes of red and blue and stays in one place for exceptional periods of time? My roommate gathered three of his friends to watch the show; helicopters (we think, they didn't make any sound) had begun to show up at about ten past eleven and circle around the light. Wanting to be a bit more indulged, I went down to the street (East 3rd) and ventured west to Jordan Avenue to have a closer look. I'd at first thought the light was much farther northwest, but apparently it was less than a mile from our dorm and thus slightly north of the campus, directly up Jordan Ave. As soon as I made the intersection and this observation, it arced up to the west very, very quickly from a dead stop. I lost sight of it for the trees, so I kept going west along 3rd Street and made a stop on top of the Ballantine Hall parking garage. I looked around and didn't see anything, so I headed back. As I approached Jordan Ave. heading east, I saw it again, motionless over a residential area to the southeast, seemingly about the same distance it was from me before. The helicopters were gone at this time. I didn't bother going after it; the cops were prone to patrol the area for party-goers at that time of night and it was late. I thus sat out in front of my dorm and watched it do practically nothing for the next half-hour or so and went back up to my room, as there wasn't much left for intrigue. I did some work until about 3am and went out for a coffee, and was a little surprised to see that the object was still in the same place, still doing practically nothing. It was in the exact same place for the duration of the same time ! period t wo days later as well.

SEVEN CRAFTS FLASHING , IN ORION'S BELT CONSTALATION FORMATION!!!!

Oval shaped discs, with flashing lights going around the outside. The crafts are shaped into the constallation of orion, but that doesn't come out til winter, so i know it couldn't be the stars. The crafts are all blinking with white, red and green lights going around. three of the crafts are stacked in a row, one on top of each other, they are about a thumb apart from top to bottom. clear night on the Iu campus, on the outskirts of campus so not much light filtering through. VERY Strange, it looks like they are just staying in the same place.

UFO south of Bloomington, IL by Randolph Grain Elevator.

I was driving home from work on Route 51 south from Bloomington to Heyworth Illinois on August 22nd around 23:15. This is about a ten mile drive. I was about half way home when I noticed three bright lights, side by side, in the sky hovering around the Randolph Grain Elevator. I estimate the object was about 500-1000 feet in the air. Curosity got the best of me so I turned on Randolph road and proceeded east to check things out. As I got closer, the object was still hovering and the lights were getting brighter. I passed the grain elevator and the object still had not moved. I was getting closer and my cell phone rang and no one was there. I looked later and no incomming call registered in my log on the phone. I kept driving and then all of a sudden the object darted northeast very quickly and was gone. I checked the flight schedule at the Central Illinois Regional Airport and nothing comes in from the south at the time. The Airport is about 10 miles from the sighting. There is a plane that comes in from Chicago at 11:10. I could see the landing lights as I was stopped on the road. I don't know what I saw as the object appeared to be an oval shape based on the layout of the lights. The cell phone ringing and the way the object left the area is what has made me thing I saw something out of the ordinary. Unfortunately, I have no pictures.

Light in sky, strange non repetitive movements, high altitude

I feel kind of weird about this, but I know what I saw was not normal, and someone else witnessed it. My girlfriend and I went out into the country to look at stars. We usually go about 15 miles outside of town so the lights don't interfere with our vision. I was looking up and noticed a small point of light. It wasn't extremely bright or anything, but as I watched it it moved in multiple directions. I have seen low orbit satelites before, but this was nothing like that. It would move up, then maybe to the left, stop, and then it would go down and to the right at a high rate of speed and acceleration. Sometimes it would stay perfectly still but then begin to move again. The patters of movement seemed to be random rather than the same thing over and over again. I would ask my girlfriend, "What way is it moving now?", and she would confirm the same direction that I had seen, without me telling her beforehand. I knew I wasn't crazy at that point. I don't know anything about UFO's, I never really even believed in them. I just figured, hey, we are only a small miniscule part of the entire world. So I would be self centered and nieve to believe that we are the only ones out there. If you have an explanation, please let me know. The only thing that I could come up with is that it was some sort of remote controlled satelite. But I think it was too high in the air for that. And why would a satelite make strange movements like that? Aren't satelites all going in the same direction in orbit? Do they have capabilities to change directions like that? Please respond to me if possible. My girlfriend is from Chicago but lives with me in Bloomington/Normal. We have made arrangements to pick up her dad's telescope the next time we visit them.
