A bright white light with a haze around it, like a helicopter hovering, then suddenly moved incredibly fast to the north east.

While driving up Deer Creek in Malibu on Thursday night about 9:30 pm PST, I stopped rolled down my window and stared at it as it was not moving. I saw a very bright white light, like a helicopter hovering still against a very clear dark sky with stars apparent. Even with the clear sky, there was a strange glowing haze around it. I took a picture of it and then it suddenly, faster than anything it would seem possible and without any noise, moved in a horizontal line towards the north east and then completely disappeared without a trace. I took a picture of it while it was moving by mistake.

Long String of Lights

At around 920pm, I was outside approximately 200 feet from the beach when I looked up and noticed a long string (approximately 30 lights) of round, white lights, all the same size, traveling south. They were moving at a farily quick pace.

As I watched the lead light reach a certain point over head, it disappeared. Each light behind it also disappeared when it reached the same point. There was no mistaking these lights for aircraft and they were completely silent. It took about a minute for the entire chain to completely disappear.

We we're packing things up in the car after hanging out on the beach. One of the kids from the car in front of us asked if the object in the sky was a space ship. I looked up and saw a huge aura or haze in a cone like shape coming from the orb. The aura or haze was moving in different ways. But the orb was moving further away. It looked like something straight out of a movie. I took a video on my phone but the aura and haze don't look anywhere as significant as they did in person. The aura or haze stretched across the sky. I watched the orb slowly fade away along with the haze

A silver sphere sat over the coast of Malibu along the PCH. The sphere was stationary, remained in one location at about 200-400' in the air. The weather conditions and visibility were excellent, clouds were near, but did not effect ability to see the craft.

I turned off Pacific Coast Highway and headed North on Decker Canyon Rd. at approx. 11:25am. It was a clear bright afternoon with little or no clouds in the sky. As I was winding up through the canyon I took a picture of the windy road to share with a friend. It was not until after I came home and reviewed the picture that I noticed something strange in the upper left corner. After blowing up the picture I noticed the object were not clouds as I thought while I was driving up the road.

Bright white pulsing light over Las Flores Canyon Malibu

Last night between 830 and 930 pm, a blindingly bright clear white pulsing light was blasting through my bedroom window from a sharp (at least 45 degree) angle above the trees, in the exact direction (as the crow flies) from LA County Fire Department Camp 8. The direction was looking approximately 200 degrees south west.

In all the 24 years I've lived here I've NEVER seen a light in that window from that direction. It hovered ABOVE the trees.

My boyfriend and I stared at it for 30 mins, wondering: "is that the Fire Camp's helicopter?" "why isn't it moving?" "if it's emergency vehicle lights, why are they bright white with no red or amber?" The area is covered in at least 30 foot high oak trees and this light was above them. It appeared as large as if it were a helicopter less than a mile away, but blinding lights, not a single beam of a helicopter you'd see searching for something underneath.

I fell asleep and by 10 pm it was gone.

The light was pulsing and so clear bright, it blasted across the canyon to the other side (approximately 1.5 miles across).

I called the Fire Camp 8 this morning and said: "I'm making a crazy lady call, were you doing helicopter training last night?" I told the captain what I saw and he said "no, the helicopter was not being used last night." He also told me that the fire captain in San Diego had a similar experience recently and everyone thought he was nuts, but there was no other source of light from a vehicle, plane, helicopter.

I don't believe in conspiracy theory. I don't necessarily believe in Martians (but I suppose there must be life out there somewhere).

What we saw made no sense. It was beyond odd.

Saw an all white cigar shape flying in linear path with no strange movement, tilting, flickering, or disappearing. Perfectly steady

This is a video I took in Malibu, CA at 6:13pm on Latigo beach. I was looking south, toward LAX. Planes are in the area very often but this stuck out because it looked very different.

The object never showed any outlandish movement which made me think it's something like a satellite, but I read that satellites often flicker which I didn’t see at all.

I kept zooming in and out hoping the video would show the high speed that this object was traveling.

Toward the end a plane passes by and I kept them both in frame to compare speeds. While they seemed to be moving at a similar rate of speed, the object was at a substantially higher elevation well above all the clouds making me believe it is traveling extremely fast.

I didn't think it was a plane because I couldn't see wings or anything dark. It was just a white perfectly cigar shaped object cruising by and never flickered. It never tilted or anything mid flight and I also never saw it disappear before my eyes, it just kept going until it was out of view.

Malibu, Point Dume/Zuma Beach Large Craft Spotted, Creamy Peach Colored Lights, Silent, Hovering Over Coastline

My friends and I decided to take a late night beach trip, and we arrived at the farthest, northern end of Zuma Beach right around 1:37AM on July 28th, 2020. The tide was extremely far out, so we walked very far out and were enjoying the sand, the waves, and stars.

Around 3:00 or 3:30AM, my boyfriend noticed a craft with lights come from behind him, heading west from the east, and then hovered infront of us, along the shoreline, above the ocean. He asked me what those lights were, and I noticed some lights, but waved it off as being a plane headed to LAX. He insisted that I look harder, because he believed the craft to be much closer than a plane would be, and he insisted that it was lingering infront of us.

I squinted and really focused on the lights that I was seeing, and was shocked to realize that there was in fact something floating above the water's edge, above us, and it was much too close to be an airplane, and much too large to be some kind of drone. I could see two round, peach colored lights, almost a creamy light-red color, sitting right next to each other, and then somewhere close behind them, there was a white light that was flashing very, very slowly. It was hard to see a complete definition of the craft, but I could see that the oval outline of it, and area surrounding the lights, was a darker shade than the night sky around it. My boyfriend said that it was a helicopter, and I was skeptical, but as I focused in on the craft, it seemed to be hovering above the coast line as the police helicopters do during the day. We slowly came to the startling conclusion that it was a police helicopter, and began backing up, meanwhile never taking our eyes off of the craft. I ! was about to call for my two friends, who were slightly infront of us, slightly west, and then I suddenly realized that there was no sound. There was no sound of helicopter blades. I said that to my boyfriend, immediately as I thought it, and shock hit him, his mouth dropped, and he looked scared.

We realized that one of our friends infront of us, was looking at the craft, and pointing. I called to her and asked if she saw it too. She said she did but had no idea what it was, and was trying to figure out if her eyes were playing tricks on her. She couldn't understand why the lights looked like they were so close. She asked me if I thought it was a satellite, and I pointed out that it was hovering right above us, and slightly infront of us, and she said, "oh, is it a helicopter?" and I repeated to her, that there was no sound. She had the same reaction as my boyfriend, that realization that there was no sound, made her mouth drop, and she looked shocked and scared. Our other friend, who was standing with the girl I was speaking with, was focusing on us talking, and then once she realized what was going on, she started wildly looking around, in the wrong direction, but me, my boyfriend, and my friend who saw the lights, looked right back at it. It seemed to be! slowly heading south, along the coast line, and at this point, the lights made it look like it was some sort of a triangular shape. I looked away, and made eye contact with my boyfriend, and when we looked back, the lights were completely gone. This was a very clear night, and there was not any fog or cloud covering. The lights just vanished, and they had previously been right there, slowly heading south. Two bright, creamy light-red lights, and a blinking white light just vanished into the clear sky. None of it made sense.

The fourth girl that was down in the water with us, did not see the lights of the craft. We then realized that this girl's sister, the fifth member of our party, was still alone, higher up on the beach, where the sand was dry, and as we walked over to her, she was walking towards us. She immediately asked us if we saw the lights too. A chill went down my spine. She said that it came from behind us, from the east, just like what my boyfriend saw, and she said that it was a triangular shape, and when it flew above us, it had green lights lining the sides of the dark, triangular shaped craft. Once it was ahead of us, above the water, there were fewer lights, and the colors changed. She watched as it hovered above us, and came down slightly, and then slowly left, before disappearing. My boyfriend agreed that the craft looked like it was about to land. I saw it hovering infront of us, slowly going south, and then hovering north slightly, before going south very slowly again, hove! ring in place, and then leaving south, before disappearing. The girl who was down in the ocean with my boyfriend and I, she agreed that it looked triangular in shape, but that it looked oval at first to her too.

We did not have our phones out when this occurred, but I did draw a picture of exactly what I saw immediately when I returned home. I will send it in an email. I began looking into what I saw, and I quickly realized that UFO spotting in Malibu, and the surrounding area, is extremely common. For this reason, I felt it was important to share my story. I whitnessed many sightings. And my last sighting was a few weeks ago. Several crafts. Are docked under water. They are operating at ate night . The crafts appear to be like fighter jets . But smaller . About the size of a car. They pop out of the water. About 50 yards from the shore. I was standing on the beach one night. I saw several crafts emerge from the surface and fly away. I also say beings around the crafts .

Malibu is a strange town . Has many secrets. I could go there on any night. And I could see some type of activity. Not just faint. But real stuff. No b.s. not camre magic. You gotta see in order to believe. The crafts make a loud thumping noise. You can feal the ground vibrating like a train passing by. And they do make the power lines go crazy. You can hear the static electricity on the powerlies from the telephone poles , when they are near.

Pictures of Unidentified Flying Object over Malibu 05/28/2017

I arrived at the Venice Beach boardwalk in the Los Angeles area to pick up my lovely lady Annette at approximately 6:50 p.m.(PST) and as I walked up to the boardwalk where I was going to meet her, I also looked around absorbing the beaches scenery and greeted her with hug.

I looked North towards the Santa Monica pier from where we were and I thought to myself what a beautiful sunset.

I'm not a big social media guy but I like posting pictures of scenery and places so I decided to post one that moment. I stepped up with my phone and tried to focus on placing the beach, sun, and mountains as the primary objects in the shot. I took a the first picture and quickly glanced at the result on my phones screen, immediately realizing that there was a shiny aqua colored spot in my photo, I quickly assumed it was a reflection spot of some sort. In my mind I wasn't too satisfied with my picture so between the glance at picture 1st, and tapping the phone to zoom in a l! ittle closer, it took me approximately 8-10 seconds to take the 2nd picture later from the original shot.

As we drove home I told Annette to check out the picture I had posted on social media and I handed her my cell phone. Immediately she pointed out the aqua sphere in the first picture to me as I drove, and without looking at it or skipping a beat I said to her, "I know it must be a glare or something," while I said that she had shuffled to the second picture and quickly replied. "the shiny spot's, on the two different pictures, and in two different locations?"

We stopped and zoomed in on the phones screen and to our amazement there were also multiple sphere's within this electric blue sphere. The picture also captured the glowing spheres reflection in the sky.

Dull object changing shape and flashing while moving in and out of vision

It was a warm night in Malibu, California; I was approximately half a mile from the ocean shore and the sky was particularly clear for a Los Angeles night. Around 9:30, a friend and I went outside to hammock. Around 9:50, my friend pointed out a strange "white, but not bright" object in the sky. I looked up to see a large, floating object closer than a plane would fly. As we observed the moving object, a plane flew high above it (it was descending into LAX), meaning the unidentified object was much closer to Earth than we first realized.

I would describe the sighting as not a bright white object, but a dull almost brown shape that was changing size in a repetitive pattern. It would twirl and become quite large, but get smaller as it rotated - only to be large again within seconds. I would estimate the size of it to be fifty times the size of a star from the naked human eye on Earth. Also, there seemed to be a red, glowing light from the core of the flying object.

I went inside to grab some binoculars, and within three minutes the object had moved to the south east towards Los Angeles and had become much smaller, as if it was flying further away.

We continued to watch it, along with a couple of other friends, as it gradually became smaller. All the while, it continued to move in the same pattern.

Within several minutes, at around 10:04 pm, the object disappeared from the atmosphere.

We witnessed only one object in this whole ordeal.

On April 4th, 2015, a plane flew southeast over Malibu and a silver tube with a fuzzy white dot in front of it and crossed the planes path through two clouds and underneath.

I was watching a plane, to see if the plane was at an altitude above the clouds. It was higher and as it passed over the clouds I saw a silver tube with a fuzzy white dot in front of it that appeared in the cloud to the right, then it traveled through clean/clear air (between clouds) and crossed under the plane and into the cloud on the left where it disappeared. The plane continued on and I grabbed a camera for a photo reference. Approximatley 60 seconds later.

The ‘Tube’ was metallic blue/gray and almost blurry, the white fuzzy dot in front of it kept a distance that remained the same distance throughout the sighting. I say fuzzy white dot because it did not strike me as a light.

Very Odd and I can’t stop wondering what it was.

Huge, "aircraft carrier" -sized, and -shaped, ufo off-shore in Malibu, with brilliant and beautiful star colored lights.





Huge, "air craft carrier sized and shaped" ufo off-shore in Malibu, with "brilliant and beautiful star colored lights, as well as red & blue ones on a "mast" shaped sub-structure, with white gold rotating ones around its circumference", in California on January 29th, 2015, from approximately 5:45-6 a.m.

Approximately 200 yards to half mile off Shore in Malibu, California...

This object moved through water in such a way that if it were a naval vessel or ocean going craft it would have been moving along its port or starboard beam instead of bow wise through the water.

Its gold/white circular lights, which seemed to surround its entire super structure - which seemed to be semi opaque or transparent in nature - seemed to be rotating like a circus's merry go round, while other lights, including a bright red one, a super bright white one, and some extremely brilliant star greenish blue ones as well as a deep dark blue one, appeared to be strung upon 1) a type of mast at the rear right side, and 2) perhaps strung in some kind of lines from that mast like a lighted sailing ships ropes and or lines of Xmas tree lights --3) as well as being/or simply interspersed throughout the entire semi opaque bodies mass of the super structure with the spinning merry go round white gold lights

This object was so large and must have displaced roughly the same amount of water as a mini nuclear powered aircraft carrier - yet when my fiancé left our apartment on the beach on Malibu Road (right beneath PCH and Pepperdine University, by Malibu Canyon/Las Virgenes Road) to go for a ten minute drive, it was nowhere in sight off shore. Yet when she returned approx. ten minutes later, there it was, looming right off the beach. It just sat there in the water while we exclaimed and wonder aloud about it and went to fetch binoculars and a telescope and our iPhones to attempt to capture stills and video of it but it was too far and dark to enable a capture-yet it remained there while we scrutinized it for five or so minutes till she said, "I'm going inside- it's too close."

Then, as if responding to her fear it moved off so as not to trouble her to the north east somewhat laterally-port side first rather then bow or stem to stern...

When we checked back in another five or so minutes, it was nowhere to be seen, yet a rather blurry and opaque fog had indeed moved in approx. where it was doing whatever it was engaged upon, before our scrutiny and my girl's sudden apprehension- and it's my pet conjecture and theory that it simply "cloaked" itself to be able to resume its tasks unobserved and uninterrupted, as the sun came up around six am and the entire sighting lasted only about fifteen minutes, or from 5:45 till when we checked back at six after sunrise, and it had disappeared.

Orbs rise up out of Latigo bay in Malibu California.

While driving home on the Pacific Coast Highway, I stopped in turn lane by Latigo Canyon Road, while waiting for the traffic to allow me to turn I looked out over the ocean. At first I thought it was a boat on fire and quickly crossed PCH and pulled over to call 9-11. When I got out of car with my cell phone I then only realized it wasn’t a boat but these large round orbs coming up from the water.

I was so nervous as the first two came towards me and went right over the mountains heading north east. The other seven orbs made a straight line right up the coast. I was so nervous my hands were shaking. These orbs seemed to change in size and color after coming up out of the water. I was hoping to zoom in but my phone doesn’t allow that. I’m sorry the video is so shaky. I have seen many sightings living over the beach in Malibu...this was the first time I was able to record it.

I am standing on Latigo road recording this which is about a half-mile from the beach, these orbs were very bright and large.

I am hoping you can have experts look at what I have and give an explanation to what I had seen.

A half green-half red diamond shaped craft moving west fast and silently

I was in Malibu, California, standing outside, on Sept 4 at around 7:40 PM local time. I looked up to see an object flying overhead. It appeared to be at 1,000 – 2,000 AGL (I’m at sea level). It was diamond-shaped, but with soft edges – ie, it looked not-quite round, not-quite a diamond. Assuming I’m right about the altitude, it was the size of a corporate jet. Wat really caught my attention was its colors: its right half was red, its left half green - yes, the opposite of navigation running lights. These colors weren’t on the tips – each entire half of the craft was of each color. They lights didn’t flash or pulse. It could have been painted on. It was silent. It was moving basically west in a straight line (tracking the east-west run of the coastline). It was moving at probably 200 kts, given how fast it traversed my view. I saw it starting right overhead, and continuing till trees blocked my view, so it lasted maybe 20 - 30 seconds.

It was not a balloon-it moved in a perfectly straight line westbound, while there is always a southern sea breeze. It emitted no visible exhaust. It did not glow or flash. A woman with me saw the same thing.

Two orangish lights in the night sky moving and then disapeared

We were looking at the stars after walking back from dinner on the beach and our friend noticed two lights in the sky that were a steady more orange color than the stars and were not flashing like airplanes.

One was moving slowly while the other one seemed to stay still.

We watched for a couple minutes to see if they were airplanes because there is a fair amount of airplane traffic above Malibu heading towards LAX.

They were definitely a different color light and not flashing like airplane lights do.

While we were watching the one that was moving just disappeared, then a minute later the other one seemed to get dimmer and then just disappeared.

damaged ufo crash lands into the bay of LA and explodes 2 days later, chasing extinct sea life to the surface.

In broad daylight, afternoon 2-4pm, the sphere was overhead, moving SW to East at airplane speed, but low, a couple hundred yards overhead.

The sphere was many times larger than a passenger jet and had a large hole in it, of which I couldn't tell if something hit it, or if it exploded from within, although I could see halls and floors within the hole.

It went from being visible to being invisible, and was surrounded by a tube shaped (self emitted atmosphere?) I could see the atmosphere at times, and there was what looked like lightening within it, as if the ship were damaged,(maybe someone shot it,) so it appeared to be shorting out. I imagine that is why it would cloak, then be uncloaked.

I was on Point Dume, raking up lemons, and watched it move across the bay of LA at I would estimate at the elevation of 500 feet. It quickly, (faster than aircraft but nothing supersonic or anything,) got to between the southern tip of LA's bay and the island of Catalina, and doinked into the ocean.

Two days later it exploded and part of it blew up into the atmosphere, and dozens of people got it on phone cameras. It was on the cover of the LA Times and is covered in many ufo documentaries.

I have seen the explosion on TV, but I seem to be the only person to have seen it enter the water.

A couple weeks later, a neighbor and I saw a blue sphere enter the ocean south of Point Dume.

Since this time, many odd, extinct sea animals have left the depths, and landed on the shores of Orange County.

A huge craft flew over my building at close range so that I could view underbelly.

I heard a sound coming like a plane, but lighter rumbling. I was on second floor, looked out and up my window. I saw the underbelly of a flying craft that covered the complete view above me. I saw two distinct round red lights adjacent to each side underneath. I followed flying object as it went over the pacific. It seemed either round or oval shaped, not sure. I saw big red and white lights blinking. The entire view was huge compared to the normal plane lights I usually see. The under belly was metalic, minus the big red lights. But it was hard to make out everything under there as it was such a surprise to me to be experiencing this.

16 jul 10 Approx. 10:45 PM* 34.03N 118.78W

I was at my desk, working on the computer. The computer is in front of the window. The window was open. I noticed a very bright object in the sky. I thought it was a plane on fire, heading towards the ocean.

First point of observation The window faces Southeast and is 3’x3’.

The object moved from E to SE, horizontal with a slight ascending direction, just over the tree top, (tree is about 40’ high and about 100’ from window.

The shape was cylinder like, (side view of a plane, without the tail, no wings). Using the size of the window, 3’x3’ as a reference and a piece of tape on the window to represent the object, the tape would be about 1 to 1 1/2 long, and 1/4 wide.

The color was an orange-yellow-red liquid fire and was moving/flowing/changing within the cylinder. It was very bright, and had depth, as if you could see into it. (It did not appear to be a flat surface, but a surface with depth) There was no glow or halo around it and no trailing tail. All the light was contained within the cylinder. No sound.

Second point of observation As the object neared the outer edge of the window, I went outside to continue observation. (Retraced steps today and it takes approx. 45 secs. to get to where I was standing last night.) The object was not where I thought it would be, instead, it was stationary and enlarged into a circle. (I thought the plane had exploded. There was no sound and nothing falling from the circle.) The light was contained within the circle, there was no halo and it was not as bright as the cylinder light. There was still movement within the light. The circle dimmed, brightened, dimmed again and then blinked out.

I returned to the house and checked the time: 10:45 PM.

Standing in the same place today, I noticed the size of the circle and location of the circle was almost in the same place as the (whole) Moon was at 5:24 PM today . (17 Jul 10)

a blue light moving over the Santa Monica Bay, changed directions and flashed off.

As I was driving down my street, looking over the Santa Monica Bay, I noticed what looked to be a shooting star streaming across the sky. As I continue to watch I noticed that it couldn't be a star; it was too bright. I watched as this blueish hue of light turned red for a quick moment, then back to blue, changed directions on a dime and took off with a flash. It was moving east from the ocean towards the mountains/city and then it turned 90 degrees and moved out of the sky on a southbound trajectory. Amazing sight. My first one.

bright metalic cylinder 30-75 ' or more flying along CA coast over Ventura, speed of landing jet, jet flame out the end.

a mirror like reflection of sun got my attention as it flew in from the S over the Pacific, it started to curve to the West then fly up the coast from me..I thought I would see wings but as it turned it was just a tubular fuselage. I grabbed binocs and that clinched it; no wings, and fire coming out the end: a missile.

There are missile tests all the time around here what with Edwards and Point Mugu base nearby, but they have always been way out over the ocean -- not this time. I called the police station, and they said no one else had called it in, and they had no info.

any one have any idea what it could have been?? it seemed much bigger than a telephone pole, through the binocs at the time it seemed like it could be 30 to 50 feet, but could be smaller in reality..or larger.

But it absolutely did have flame out the back..

The flight seemed to be guided..not a straight line, or a curve...

I guess it is the most plausible explanation that it was a recently launched missile, perfectly possible I could have seen it during it's first 15 seconds of flight, launched from a jet or ship..it was going rather slowly at first..then I lost sight of it almost as soon as I focused the binos on it -- it may have picked up speed and zoomed out of sight in a few seconds..

UFO captured in picture 5/14/2006 - Daylight

I am contacting you to see if perhaps there was anyone else reporting seeing a craft in Malibu, Ca, on Mother's Day? I did not witness it physically.

I took quite a number of pictures that day, and after reviewing them was amazed to see a shape I have seen a 'million times'. I have never captured this before myself, though I have researched and studied all I can on the subject. I have the image that was captured with a Olympus SP-350, 8 Megapixel, prosumer camera.

I would love to forward it, in the very best resolution possible. I can upload it to an FTP Site. Please advise.

Nothing is out of the ordinary in the picture except this shape. It was quite high over the area. It IS NOT a bird, or a plane, or a helicopter.

There was a hovering, body of some sort, flashing very bright light, almost like a bouy, in the sky.... It would only flash light.... at intervals. The object was very high in the sky above the pacific ocean. The object hovered, from a long distance away, flashing light. It was certainly unidentified to our point of view, for it didn't conform to the any known technology such as a helicopter, airplane, or any other form of aircraft. It was a lighting object, in one place for a very long time flashing powerful, light flashes in a perhaps purposeful or random sequence from a long distance away. There were no sounds. It was like someone had a flashlight hovering over the pacific ocean 1000s of feet above the air and was turning it on and off quickly in a strange order. It had some kind of purpose.... it didn't appear to be any kind of aircraft or satelite of any sort. It was definitely well below the earth's atmosphere and it carried on, hovering a flashing, for at least 20 minutes. After the lights disappeared, jet airplanes, perhaps airforce jets flew by ahead in the sky very high up, no sound, assuming a Mach speed rate at least. This was all in the night time.

I witnessed triangle craft being chased by military planes near NAS Pt.Mugu Dec.2004

Was driving on PCH west of Malibu. Ca. south of the Point Mugu Naval Air Station.

There is an strech of rode where campers can park by the ocean just south of Mugu Rock. It was a nice day so I had the window down. Suddenly to my left just off the beach bout 100 yards a dark triangle shape craft flew by quickly! Looking Past the craft I could see two military fighters about a mile out keepig pace with craft.

It was nothing I had seen in 20 years in the military! Ahead of me the coast took a jag to the west toward Mugu Rock this craft followed the coast line and as it did it turned it side exposing it top side. I could see no tail fin and no cock pit.

This craft made no sound and I was very close! It scared the heck out of me because I thought it would crash but it did not. It came to Mugu Rock and very easily negotiated around it keeping the same distance away.Scared and curious at the same time I accerlated and got past the rock as fast as I could.

Once past the road was straight for a distance of a mile and so and I could see the air station clearly. no planes were seen in the air. I hurried down the road to where the road turned east and I could see down the road and too the city of Camarillo. no planes in sight.I kept searching the skies but saw no planes.It was a very unusal event. The only reason I am reporting it now is because some one else reported a similar incident in the same area 2 years prior(June 2002).

I know what I witnessed.

this object could only be seen through the eye of a camera.Highly stealth.

On the date specified above I was working in the Zumirez beach area of PCH in Malibu when I took a picture of an electrical power pole,in the direction of the ocean sky above. At the time of the taking of the picture( with a digital camera) I didnt see anything in the viewfinder, nor by looking in the sky.I was later in the office after downloading,that i saw a distinct image for the first time. It is diamond,( or square on a half turn) bright white or silverish in color,with a real pattern to it. Something like four bars with four dots on all four corners and illumination in the middle. Im not sure what it is.After asking co-workers who have dealt with electrical occurances for the past 20yrs, figured out that this was nothing electrical related as far as they were concened or have ever heard of.I actually have the image clear as day printed in color, as well on disk.

bright, large, white sphere, with flaming orange contrails over Pacific Coast Highway

I am submitting this for a friend who is repeating the following to me during a phone conversation, but who has no web access right now.

Walking at top of Topanga Canyon overlooking Pacific Ocean. In sky over ocean a huge, spherical, object pushed through the clouds. It appeared about 100 times larger than a blimp and was primarily bright white. It emerged from the north, sat high above the horizon, then moved south. It had a stream of orange flame, as if from a engine. It also had contrails in all directions as if exploding, almost. This went on for about 10 minutes, then the white area became triangular and the contrails formed a Z, and then slowly formed other shapes as white shape faded to greenish blue. All the dogs in the area were howling (except mine, which isn't saying anything as he's slightly retarded).

At first I thought this was the moon, but the moon was already appearing in the southern sky. Then I thought it was a refraction of setting sunlight reflecting off the ocean and through the clouds, but it appeared extremely three dimensional and extremely bright. If it was refraction, I've never anything quite like it.

I've never reported UFO sightings before. I have never seen one and was frightened and alarmed and turned on the tv to see if we were in trouble. I am a professional journalist, respectably published, sober, and generally a skeptic. Would like to find out if anyone else saw this thing.

Air Force Test Missile Out West

VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. (AP) - An Air Force missile test Thursday provided a spectacular light show seen over California and much of the West, as far away as Utah and New Mexico.

The colorful contrail was seen soon after the unarmed Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile blasted off at 7:36 p.m. from an underground silo at the Vandenberg military base north of Santa Barbara.

"The smoke went up in spirals as the sun was setting and turned into an orange, amber color. It was like a flower going into bloom pretty quickly," said Simon Cox, who saw it from a restaurant terrace in Santa Barbara.

The missile traveled about 4,200 miles in about 30 minutes, striking a predetermined target at the Kwajalein Missile Range in the western chain of the Marshall Islands, the Air Force said.

Vandenberg spokeswoman Kelly Gabel said clear conditions were responsible for the spectacular light show.

"We do this two or three times a year, but because the weather was so perfect we decided to launch it early," Gabel said. As a result, people were still awake to see it, and although the sun had set, sunlight below the horizon glinted off unspent fuel particles and water droplets.

"Suddenly we're getting calls from people as far away as New Mexico who saw it and want to know what it is," Gabel said.

The mission was directed by the 576th Flight Test Squadron at Vandenberg and the 341th Space Wing and the 341st Space Wing, from Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana.

The purpose was to test launch systems and the missile's accuracy and reliability.

red and orange lights pulsing in random sequence/ seemed like communicating

we were working a graveyard shift. Our task was to drive test computer software for a new cell phone/cell sites. 6 months of drive testing and this one early morning at approx. 2 am I noticed the object appear (out of know where)over the ocean approx. a mile from where we were driving. As passenger I insisted we stop but the driver sped up and I convinced him to finally stop as well as the other team in another vehicle.

We all stood there on the highway watching the craft start to display what seemed a communicative code. Never a sound, just a display. Then, after about what seemed 10 minutes and not long enough. the craft started to move horizontal in a NW line faster and faster without ever making a noise and just disappeared. Then it seemed the sun rose and that was strange.

Light or Fireball fell out of the sky and as it was going to hit the ocean, it disapeared.

My friend and I were on the beach near Coral Canyon in MAlibu CA and we say a sort of Light/ fire ball falling out of the sky. It was going at an incredible speed and it was less than a mile away. It looked like it hit the ocean but it was night so I can't really confirm if it did or not. Once the object made its way to the ocean's surface, it disapeared, so my guess is that it went underwater.The date I gave above was approximate. I could have been a couple years before or after.

i was surfing, with another guy, at County Line (across from Neptune's Net), when it came out of the fog bank just offshore.

the stranger and i were focused on the horizon, awaiting another wave. we didn't know each other, but it's wise to buddy-up when you're in the drink, so there we were, silent, sitting on boards, acknowledging the expectation that if either one would have a problem, the other'd be close by. it was a good morning of waves, coming in sets about 7-10 minutes apart. between the sets, at exactly 12:20 PDT, what looked to me like a brushed aluminum saucer with a bump in the middle (both top and bottom alike), approached the shoreline from out of the fog bank sitting about a mile offshore. it was the size of a US nickel held at arm's length, and stopped its lateral approach to the shoreline just inside the fog bank, where it was clear and sunny. i couldn't discern any kind of external rotation, but looking back in my mind, i believe perhaps the 'bumps' were rotating, although i couldn't say why. maybe they had black slits or something (which would be subtle when moving, like a zoetrope or something). so it comes in to the sun, settles (at about 300 feet over the ocean surface), and begins an oscillating descent, much like a flat rock in water, or a leaf towards terra. side to side it drops, for about 3 times. on the 4th, it slowed, tilted towards the shore (us), tilted away, and then, in a blink of an eye, took off at a 60 degree climb into and through the fog bank, out to sea. this happened in the space of about 10 seconds, so we had time to process the event as it happened. the non-ballistic demonstration reeked of electromagnetic drive (no sound, super-fast, zero-G). we looked over at each other. "You see that?" "Yep." "((deleted))." silence returned, as we realized deep in the core of our consciousness, that life was deeper than the ocean we surf. we didn't talk any more, transcended by the experience, peaceful that the answer was a resounding 'yes.' the next set of waves passed by while we both kept staring out at the fog bank, boards pointed towards the open ocean, the sky into which the ! 'craft' had disappeared.

Slow evening watching sunset, then as dusk transitions, I see three lights that I mistook for stars moving around each other.

Apprx. 3or 4th week of February 1990. I was enjoying slow evening watching sunset, as dusk takes over I'm now watching stars, as it gets darker I see that three things of what I thought were stars are actually subtly moving around and toward and away from each other. These are initially slower movements, which is why I mistook them for stars, but after the first 5 minutes they were getting hyperactive. The sky was quite bright initially but begins to darken and it's easier to see them. There were three of them and I could only see the them as lights in the sky. They were playing around in the sky with each other, like flying bugs or something or how playful young animals might run around each other. Many movements were quick and sudden turns, 90degree and even 180degree. I watched for total of about 15 minutes, 20 minutes at the outside number, but it was getting cold and they eventually started to fade from view.

UFO in Malibu Canyon
It was summertime, and we were typical teenagers in love. My girlfriend and I decided to go to Zuma Beach in California just north of Malibu late one evening. She had a recent model Pontiac ((type deleted)). She borrowed the car from her step mother for the evening. She had a curfew and we decided we should start heading back from the beach toward home in the West San Fernando Valley. We left Zuma at a quarter to 1:00AM. She drove and we took PCH (Highway 1) for approx. a few minutes to Malibu Canyon Rd. Turned onto Malibu Cyn towards the 101 freeway and the SFV. There was no one around that intersection prior to turning onto Malibu Canyon. I noticed that there were no other cars on the road behind us or in front of us at that moment, and I had a clear view as we began to crest the first part of Malibu Canyon Rd from the ocean for about a mile ahead as we began to twist and turn on the sinuous canyon road ahead. It was a clear evening. Excellent visibility.

We past by the Hughes Research Lab where they test satellites for aerospace. No noticeable activity that evening. Sometimes the huge box that camo colored would be open and they would have something they would be testing. Not this night though. We had a cassette tape playing in the stereo, it was the kind of tape player that would change sides automatically. The event began as we neared the tunnel. I looked out the passenger seat window to my right into the darkness of the canyon and I felt like I saw something out of the corner of my eye only to be staring into darkness. The Canyon is wide to my right and the cliff is a 500-700 foot drop off. My feeling was that there was something there though which made no sense to me at the time. I shrugged it off quickly and let her concentrate of driving the car. I didn't want to alert her to something that was only a feeling. We went through the tunnel, and emerged from the other side. That is when I began to notice a “brightness” from behind our car develop, as if there was someone behind us who was going to need to pass us soon since they were coming at a good rate of speed. I turned to look at my girlfriend and she was upset that someone would want to race pass her this late at night. It was a weeknight and nobody usually would be on this road on a weeknight anyway. Maybe someone racing someone in the canyon.. The light grew to the point where she squinted her eyes, and flipped the mirror. I remember the bright reflection across her eyes at this point from the rear view mirror was still a very bright reflection across her face and she had to then move her head to avoid being blinded from that point on. The light was from behind the our car, it did not “flood the compartment”, but what the light touched it appeared almost perfectly while, perhaps like a sodium light or probably a flash from a camera except a constant incredible blinding brightness. She began to accelerate. The mood changed quickly from being upset to being worried that some jerk was trying to ! run us o ff the road or chase us through the canyon. That is when I turned around to give this jerk the universal hand signal to back off. As I turned around to look at the person driving, I had to squint as if I was looking at the sun when I turned around. I thought I saw something that looked a large station wagon, except the lights went all the horizontally across the grill of the car following us. They were square and they were not quite like lights with light bulbs that cars have. They were more like flood lamps for a football stadium. They were slightly larger. I turned around quickly as to not be blinded by the light. I turned to look at my girlfriend and she was becoming panicked. I told her to go as fast as possible. She got the car up to 75-85MPH and back down on the turns.. I rememebr the tires were screaming on the turns.. Even the slightest straightaway she would bring it back up to around 80. I turned around again, and the light had not changed distance to our car. It had remained approx less than 10 feet off of her rear bumper. It was impossible to shake them. The second time I turned around, I did not see a station wagon. I saw a grill of lights. There was no glare from a chrome bumper like you would find on a station wagon. The light would burn like if you were sitting in front of a TV set too close for too long, like a very powerful tanning booth on full blast. My girlfriend was starting to under compensate her steering, and I told her take her foot off the gas. She refused and she was screaming at this point. I put hand on her leg and told her to use the whole road, both lanes. Anyone in front of us would see the light and have to pull over. The next thing that happened was very strange. The light was gone. It simply ended. I turned around, saw that it was gone. I looked really hard to see if it had turned off, or if there was a shadow under the street lights.. and there was nothing. It was completely gone. My girlfriend was shaking. I told her to pull the car over to the side of the road. S! he refus ed. She didn't speak a word for the rest of the trip. I tried my best to tell her everything was alright, and that it was gone, whatever it was. I flipped her rear view mirror visor back down. I kept an eye on her for the rest of the drive back into town. She was different, and I was very worried at this point about something and I didn't know what it was. Something was wrong. For the rest of the drive I just let her drive the car, and she drove straight back to her parents house in Tarzana, way at the top of Vanalden, south of the Ventura Blvd. The drive felt odd, yet very calm and relaxed. Like waking after a nightmare after you are done being frightened half to death.. She parked, and sat there for a minute before turning the engine off. I noticed two things at this point as she just sat there almost in shock. The tape player had stopped playing the tape. The tape was completely done on one side as I ejected it. It didn't flip or changed sides automatically.. I put the tape back in, and it changed to the other side automatically that it normally would have. I then ejected it and put it in my pocket. I looked at the clock. It took a full ten seconds to wrap my brain around what it said. It said 1:12AM. My mind went back to Zuma and it was 15 minutes to 1:00AM. We entered the Canyon at at least 12:55, and somehow we traveled all that way to her house in < 13-15 minutes, which is impossible.

I asked her about it the next day, and she vaguely remembered it. After summer she went home, out of state, where her real family was living. We had lost contact with each other. I wrote her but she never wrote me back.. I came up to visit her a couple of months later, and she wouldn't talk to me the whole time. I only would talk with her brother who was also a good friend of mine. We didn't have a nasty breakup. There was no reason for her acting this way, that I would have been aware of. I tried to think back to whatever it could have been... I asked her brother to ask her about the incident in the canyon, and if that was the reason, because that was the only thing bad that ever happened. She told him she didn't remember anything happening in Malibu Canyon. He said it was like she blocked out the entire summertime we spent together out of her mind. I was horribly heartbroken by this, and I returned home to LA. This incident happened in 88'. Years later when I grew into adulthood I had a few nice cars.. Eventually I got a sport car. I still try to attempt to beat that record time I did in the canyon. The fastest I can make it from PCH and Malibu Canyon to the the valley is 22 minutes. That is hauling and screaming the tires the whole way, not just part of the way. I even got a ticket for it once by the Malibu Sheriff in all my years of reliving that drive... My only speeding ticket in my life. ha..

She eventually grew up to be a burn patient specialist and married someone from her church. I have heard about stories of people who had lost time. Somehow I gained time or “froze” time going through the canyon in that car that night that I still can not explain why to the best of all my ability. For a while I thought I wanted to attribute what happened to the Hughes Research Lab that is located inside that canyon, the only facility. I don't know why, just my own intuition. I can't say I saw a UFO. I never saw it leave the ground. I never saw anything land from above. I felt like there was something just prior to entering the tunnel and it would have been floating approx 500+ feet above the canyon gully next to the road we were on.

2.Perhaps what followed us could have been the Sheriff or some kid in a V8 muscle car. I didn't hear it make any noise above the sound of the Pontiac's V6 motor. Whatever it was was not car in my opinion. I did not have KC headlights. They were larger and square and not incandescence lights. They were the most perfectly while lights I have ever seen in my whole life, and they wrapped around the entire front of whatever you want to call it.. I just call it the “grill” of the front of whatever it was. A rectangle entirely made up many large rectangular lights. Approx 16 of them. That part bothers me. I haven't found anything that has that kind of light configuration on any type of vehicle ever. It could have been a practical joke, maybe some teenagers were waiting for someone like us to be coming thought he canyon late on a weeknight. Whatever followed us that night, came up fast, and stayed perfectly on the bumper of the Pontiac and stayed perfectly behind us on ever turn, and matched our speed perfectly for at least 10-15 heartracing minutes.. As soon as we saw the lights of the city ahead then it was gone like someone turning off a switch. It didn't have tires that screamed. I am still very bothered by what happened. I have waited until now to post this hoping somehow after all these years I would have some way of explaining it, after all my research, and I do not. I will admit that I'm a huge fan of Sci-fi books. And I'm a big nerd into systems engineering and that is what I do for a living. I'm a big nerd today. There is some missing time I'm dealing with still. I'm no longer bothered by what happened. It happens so long ago now. I actually enjoy driving that same road at night sometimes, hoping whatever it was would return. Kinda. Sorta. Maybe not. I have seen some strange lights over the Hughes Labs.. I have told just a few close friends this story. My only witness, my girlfriend can not recall this happening. Her brother remembers my conversation with him about asking her, but that is all. I'm le! ft alone with this memory today.. I wanted to share it here in case someone else has had a similar incident in Malibu Canyon or frozen time. That's all I have. Thank you. April, 1987 - Bright Bluish Crimson Ball flying over the Malibu Canyons

It was about the size of a full moon and much like a lighted, bright ball with hues of blue and crimson on the outer edges along with some soft smoke reminiscent of from dry ice (aura hazed).

The three of us were lifting weights at a camp up in the Malibu canyons. One of my friend saw it first and he yelled "Look, look", the thing flew from our left and stopped right on top of us for a couple of seconds and continue on into the mountains.

It was quiet and didn't make one sound, not even a whoosh.

It was a clear and very, very beautiful starry night.

I saw a round object with lots of lights over my car making a sound like bood bood.

It was midnight and I was driving through malibu canyon road when I noticed a bright circular huge object above my car with lots of lights making some noise like bood bood. It then went to the sky disapearing in a second.

I then went to the hills on calabasas and saw three dots coming down from the sky in a rectangular shape and they went over my head and became one dot and disapeared.

In another ocasion about ten years ago near santa barbara I was on top of the hills when I saw a small green man near my car standing for about a minute or two watching me and he disapeared.

The first 2 ships to show were joined by 2 others within about 10 minutes. They seemed to oselate colors from the lighter colors to the darker colors of the color spectrum. The 2other people there seemed to be expecting the arrival. After at least 2 hours of staring in amazement, the (rain-bow) ships, I can see why their referred as a fire-ball, were doing grid-pattern manuevers, I was told that the mother-ship that these came from would send a blue light over this old alter,installed by a person in the 1920's that I should not mention. The transparent blue light, over the alter, got slowly brighter and brighter.It was still transparent when 1 of the 2 other people already there held my friend by the shoulders and past his head though the light. I immediately got right behind my friend and tried to look up at the light.I was told that it and was told that it would damage my eyes. So he past my head though the light face-down. It was like taking a hit off a menthol cigarette, like my head was mentholated. The blue light then faded in about the. same time it to

POSSIBLE ABDUCTION

Sometime in the middle of June 1970 I was at a house in Malibu Canyon, I had never been there before and didnt know my way around. Somewhere between 11 and 11:30pm I wanted to leave and began walking to try and find my way out of the canyon and back to Malibu Canyon Rd and the Ventura fwy. As I was walking I suddenly felt something wasnt right. There were alot of bushes and over growth on the side if the road and my attention was drawn to a small area that had very large bushes and I kept watching them as I walked past them because something didnt feel right, I get about 10-15ft past them, turn around, look back, turn back again to start walking and my next memory is Im standing on Topanga Canyon Blvd about a block from Ventura Blvd.

Things seem foggy and Im thinking Im looking at a signal light, red, yellow and green lights but there has never been a signal light there where I stood. I cross the street and walk into the Dennys, sit down in a booth, look up at the clock and its 2am.

I know I did not walk there and I did not appear to be injured or disheveled in any way, I just know something happened to me in Malibu Canyon and I dont know what.

Huge triangler shape object seen up close over the tree line in the Malibu mountains in 1966

At the time this event happened I was attending a weekend summer camp put on by the Santa Monica Boys Club, in Santa Monica California. The camp was held in Santa Monica / Malibu mountains. This camp was only a Friday to Saturday night sleepover, returning late Sunday afternoon.

At the time this event happened I was about 10 or 11 years old. Most of the kids in the camp were a similar age, give or take a couple 3 years up or down. In any event this would make the year about 1966 or 67.

The night that this sighting happened, I and a small group of kids my age was walking back to the camp sight, which was a ranch where we bunked. I and a bunch of other young campers had just come from a scary story telling sessions by the camp counselors.

We had all sat around a camp fire, maybe 50 - 60 kids as they told us these stories. When the session broke up we all headed back along the trail by which we had came . This was a tree line trail where the trees, pine I think, were a least 75- 100 or so feet high, maybe even taller.

The elevation where we were at in the mountains was about 6500 feet. I remember this because the counselors told us the air was going to be very thin up where we were going when started the trip. It was very dark, but you could see by the star light okay. We might have had a flash light, but of that, I'm not sure of.

What happened next though I am sure of. I was walking back to camp with about 6 or 7 other boys about my age. The rest of the group with the counselor were spread out on the trail in front or behind us at some distance, but none were close enough to been seen, but could be heard. Suddenly, some one in our group spotted a bright light in the distance through the tree line.

We all thought it was a star, but someone said it way getting bigger. As we watched this light get bigger and bigger, very quickly, say in about five second or so, it went from looking like one of the stars in the night sky to a giant dark triangular shaped craft zooming directly over our heads in what appeared to be 2 - 3 hundred feet above the tree line.

It was huge. It was close. It made all most no sound, but it could be heard, like a whooshzz sort of sound, but definitely extremely quite for how close and large it was. The bottom of it was line with circular colored lights, I believe red, yellow/white, blue and may be green. They seemed to be flashing a bit.

As it passed over our heads we tracked it. Even though up close we only got a good 2-4 second look up close at it from front to back you could see all the detail in it. It was big like a football field. It disappeared in the distance in another three to five seconds, looking like a star again and that was it. We all turned to each other and said " wow, we just saw a ufo!" Strangely enough I don't recall us talking about it to much back at camp and I don't even recall if I ever mentioned it to my dad. But I can tell you this, to this day I can still see it in my mind as clearly as if it happened yesterday. I know what I saw.

As a side note about 15 years ago a friend of mine gave me Whitely Stribbers Communion book and told me I should read it. I really had no interest in it, but one night I felt strangely compelled to start reading it. I suddenly came across a passage where he starts describing the object I saw that night. I have since come to find that Art Bell has seen the same object. The thing that is most interesting to me was the time frame when I saw it, the mid 60's, and where, the Malibu mountains. I mean that still pretty close to a big city.

I have never seen anything since, but I have had two freakish events I kind of relate to that incident. The first is, I was house sitting a place in Mar Vista California around the time I started reading the Stribber book. The girl whose house it was, was a film editor. Before she left on her trip we were partying a little at her house. In the bed room she had big sliding doors. Now I admit we were a little drunk but she swears she saw a ufo looking up from her bed through those doors while we were talking. She got very scared. And for some reason, I to seem to get unnaturally scared. For the next week as I house sit at her place I could not go to sleep before dawn. I was terrified every night.

The second event was about 5 years ago. I thought I woke up and saw a gray alien, the ones with the big eyes standing by my side of the bed. My girlfriend was asleep. I got the distinct impression that he (why do I think it was a "He"? ) was surprised I woke up. I got mad and I punched him in the face, then I suddenly fell back to sleep. When I woke up the next morning, I thought that was a strange dream.

Some how I've always thought that these event's were connected, but the first one is the only one I can be sure that happened.
