Singular craft 8 feet tall and 6 feet wide Some darkened area on the side - light-colored object Small orange to reddish light in the middle of the object (steady light, not blinking) Cloudy and misty, almost dusk conditions

Seen at a distance of 250 feet high, approximately 200 yards away from me Appeared west of woods and traveling north moving at a speed of 30 MPH (went 1 mile in 30 seconds)- veered slightly to west until it went out of sight

Wind-speed was slow to none (judging my movement of my American Flag in the yard - 0 to 4 MPH out of the east

Craft made no sound, no wings or propellers and traveling at an angle into the wind

A plane was flying north west.

A friend and I had been using lasers to point out constellations prior to the plane flying overhead. We ceased use of lasers prior to the planes appearance due to regulations and courtesy.

As the plane passed overhead a light faded into visibility behind the plane accelerated above the plane and veered off at a 90 degree angle upward and toward the south. As if using the plane to hide on radar. It then proceeded to rapidly accelerate in a spiral formation while increasing altitude and disappeared with a small flash when it reached the center of this spiral.

We were completely baffled and didn't talk to anyone about it because the assumption is you're either lying or crazy.

I felt more comfortable with the recent news reports.

F-16 Chasing Light Across The Central Valley South Of Fresno Ca.

Dunlap, Ca. Overlooking the Central Valley approx. 50 miles South S.E of Fresno On a semi-regular basis we see and or hear F16s over our property returning to the 144th Air Guard base in Fresno. This evening while in our spa we again heard the sound of the F16s. This time when we looked up we saw something very strange.

At approximately 9:10 PM on Monday the 16th of March 2009 we heard an approaching aircraft. We looked up and to the east since this is the normal direction these jets take. As soon as we looked up we saw a white light moving extremely fast from the east to the west. This light was about as bright as a semi-bright star moving nearly as fast as a meteorite. There was no tail or sound coming from it at all and the light stayed constant. We could hear the jet coming w/afterburners on but by the time he was overhead the "light" was nearly out of sight to the west.

These jets normally head north towards the guard base after reaching the valley but this one headed straight across the valley as fast as he could (without breaking the sound barrier) As fast as the F16 was moving, it was nothing compared to the "light" he was apparently attempting to follow.

Over the next several minutes 5 more jets (jet 2 also had afterburners on) headed in the exact same direction as the object and first jet.

I believe if this was a meteorite or space debris the object would have been burning leaving a trail behind and would not have been traveling in perfectly straight line from east to west with no noticeable elevation change.

On clear nights we can see the city lights across the central valley to the base of the coast range, tonight was one of those nights.

A bright geometric shape with an equally bright tail streaks down.

At about 11:10 pm on August 13, 2001, I was driving north on IL Route 40 toward IL Route 90 which was a few miles ahead. My wife also saw it as she was sitting in the right front seat. Our son sitting in the back seat behind me did not see it. It was a very clear night and the massing of the Milky Way could be seen just by looking out and up. There were several private airplanes out and about with flashing lights that were easily seen (but not near the object). From my vantage point, in front of me and a little to the right (at, say, one o'clock there came streaking down with a long tail (at 15 to 20 degrees from vertical) a small parallelogram with sharp angles, for the corners did not look to be right angles. I remember that the parallelogram was a double image but I attribute that to the hour of the day and I could not blink to clear my vision or I would have missed it. My wife did not recall a double image. If this were painted on my windshield it would have been about 1/4" long and 1/8" wide and the tail would have been 9 - 10 inches long. The sides of the parallelogram on the right were lower that the ones on the left. To me the color looked blue green, object and tail. To my wife, she said it looked more toward yellow. I did see it though a windshield that had a tinted top edge, but I could not reproduce the color by looking at white road signs. It looked big enough and close enough that we thought it was going to hit the nearby fields and make an explosion or something. It did not. It lasted long enough for me to say,"Geeezz! Look at THAT! and for my wife to respond.
