Black triangle with three white lights at each corner passed overhead slowly and silently at 9 pm in a residential area near hwy 101.

I walked out onto my deck around 9 pm and sat down. I looked up and immediately saw a big black triangular shape floating above me traveling north from the south. It had three dim orb-like lights at each corner of its triangular shape. I watched as it passed overhead in complete silence and then looked in the direction it was heading, but I couldn’t see anything. There was a commercial flight in the sky at the same time that was much higher and brighter, so I could tell this was only a few hundred feet above me, nowhere near the altitude planes fly at. It was closer to a drone in its movement, but it made no sound. The object was moving north from the south, approximately over highway 101. Vandenberg Air Force Base is south of here and it could've been coming from that direction.

I was walking my dog on the beach I saw a light over the mountains it was twilight the sun was just going down I said to myself that it was still to light for a star to be out it wasn’t moving as I watched it seemed to be moving towards me it looked to me that there were 4 lights in a row there was no red lights like airplanes have I tried to take a picture As a matter of fact I tried to take several pics, but it wouldn’t show up in the iPhone screen I looked at it and I could see it, but when I looked at it through my phone it wasn’t there but I could see it clearly with my eyes but not the phone

I then turned around and took about 10 steps and turned around to look again and the object was gone if this was a airplane I should of been able to see it again, but it was gone and I mean gone

I went home a looked at my pictures about 8 and none of the pictures had any light in them I’ve taken many pictures of the stars and moon and they always come out I can’t believe that I took my eyes off of it I am dumbfounded why didn’t it show up in my pics when I could see it clear as day

Red fireball spherical looking object rises from ground and disappears.

While delivering a boat from Santa Barbara to San Francisco, approximately 15 miles from shore, just passed point conception, I noticed in the direction of Pismo a large red fireball looking event that rose from what looked like the ground upwards with a tail that illuminated the clouds below it.

The "fireball" seemed to be spherical in shape with "clean" round edges. It then disappeared.

Interesting it looks like there have been similar sightings in the general area in the past.

What could this have been?

Saw bright light when viewed through binocs looked like a white bee hive and hovered for bout an hour than travel south west over ocean till disappeared.

Dark Silver Sphere Hovering Above the Street With red and green lights

I was driving to my friend's house and I saw a few lights so I looked up. I saw a saucer shaped machine hovering above the street at the height of a telephone pole chord's. It was silver and had one small green light and one small red light.

I do not believe in UFO's so I disregarded the situation; however, I told one of my friends and he said he was watching UFO's flying around all night and one even turned into a car.

Therefore, I became curious and found this website.

Orange ascending light on California Coast, stopping, moving, disappearing 10-24-08

I am a 20-year-old undergraduate student of a California state University studying physics. On the 24th of October, 2008 I and two friends were driving back to our hotel in Pismo Beach, California on California highway 101 southbound about 6 miles north of the town of Pismo Beach. At 7:29 PM, a bright orange light arose from behind a hill ahead SSE of our position. It initially put me in mind of a helicopter pointing a searchlight directly at us because of the intensity of the light. After about 20 seconds of watching and guessing as to the nature of said light, I pulled out my cell phone (while driving, so the video is not only poor, but shaky) and filmed a short video. The light dimmed as it rose making me initially think it was a flare, so I watched for telltale signs. It did not seem to accelerate (as a non-propelled projectile at -9.8 m/s^2), it seemed to be rising at a constant velocity. I was unable to watch it with the attention it deserved until I was able to pull off the highway at the next exit. So the next paragraph will be the event as described by the passenger sitting in the rear right seat between its initial rise into the air to the time we were able to get out of the car.

My friend driving the car pointed out a flying object ahead of us. It seemed to be to close to be an airplane and didn’t look like one either. We traced it as it seemed to get farther away from us until it was just visibly the size of a bight star. We kept our eyes on it as we pulled off the highway, there we watched it for another minute or so before it abruptly disappeared.

I was taking quick glances up at the light as it rose higher and became dimmer and more angled. The light seemed to be becoming more triangular (isosceles with the most acute angle seemingly pointing northwest). It seemed to be traveling more westward over the ocean. Eventually the light became a single point and was only distinguishable from the stars around it because it still had the characteristic orange color that it had when it first came into view over the nearby hill. We pulled the car off the freeway at around 7:32 PM, immediately parked and got out of the car to pay full attention (we think it was Spyglass Drive, but we weren’t focused on the name of the exit at the time). The light was suspended in the same position from our perspective and compared to its original size was at least a factor of 4 or 5 times its initial distance from us (just a size ratio and some simple trigonometry). And that being the case, I’m able to determine that it was not descending (unless moving towards me simultaneously, which is easily verified by intuition or vector analysis). That being the case, the light remained at the same intensity as we discussed what it could possibly be. I was looking very closely and it seemed that it was getting slightly brighter. But just about as soon as I made that realization, the light “turned off”. It looked like it either burned out or went very quickly away from us. I started writing this record of the event at about 7:50 PM and have now finished it at 8:58 PM, making sure to be as clear and accurate as I possibly can.

As a side note, I just had a friend read this just a few minutes after I finished writing it. He was driving another vehicle with another of our friends with him. The report from them is they saw it as well and one reports seeing another similar “object” in the northwest direction during the event described above.

Bright orange 'star' seen for 2 minutes by multiple witnesses

My family, friends, and I were camping on Pismo Beach California.

At approx. 21:30 at about 65 degrees up from the horizon, we notice a very bright orange 'star' travelling in a southerly direction. The 'star' was the brightest in the sky.

It moved across half of the night sky and finally faded away in about 8 seconds.

My daughter said she saw a smaller white light continue on afterwards.

Strange lights in the sky above Pismo Beach

On 4/22/6 at approximately 11:30 p.m., my family and I were at Pismo State Beach in CA, USA. We were facing north when we saw the light coming towards us. My sister said "hey here comes a low flying helicopter" because she saw the light coming towards us. However, there was no engine sound and we did not see any blue, red or white flashing lights on this object. The orange light was heading in our direction about 200 feet off of the ground at a slow pace. The light moved from side to side but not extremely far. Once all of us noticed this orange light coming towards us, it stopped, hovered for about 30 seconds and then just simply started to rise into the air. No sound, no burst from any engines, nothing. It just started to rise at a fast speed until the light dissapeared. About two minutes later, the same light was noticed behind us, or to our south. It was traveling north about 200 feet off of the ground. It was traveling fast and then the light dissapeared. It did not rise, it just dimmed out. After that all of us talked for a while trying to determine what we saw. I think we all knew what we saw, some of us couldn't beleive it, but I know none of us will ever forget it.

A low object emitting fire and red and blue "debris", it also emitted a blue-lit object that remained stationary

Traveling south on US 101 by Pismo Beach my passenger and I saw an object (we could not make out the object's shape)with fire coming from it. It was not jet exaust, it was fire. And the fire looked like it had debris or bits and pieces of something in it including red and blue lit peices. The fire left a strange trail of debris. My passenger asked "is it launching a satalite?". The object looked like only about 1,000 feet above and infront of us. I pulled over on the side of the freeway and opened the moon-roof of the car and watched the object. Fire continued coming from it as it moved slowley westword. At first I thought it was a plane coming apart because of the "debris" coming from it and the fire. At one point an object came out of the fire and consisted of 6 or 8 blue lights in a line (or around it). The fire object bagan to move faster and faster and turned upword and began gaining altitude upward and away from us. We watched it until it turned into a tiny speck and we could not see it anymore. The blue-lite object remained stationary, and we left. I am an avaiation buff and I am aware of most all aircraft. This was nothing like anything I have ever seen or heard of before.

Irregular black dot sighted above July 4 celebration at Pismo Beach.

During ID celebration, as amateur fireworks were starting, sighted distant black irregular object. The object was similar to fluttering debris of fireworks, but could be clearly distinguished in that it remained nearly stationary. The object seemed to tumble in place, showing irregular geometry. The object was sighted from the beach at an angle of about 45-60 degrees above the horizon. In this order it very gradually: 1. increased in altitude and distance, 2. approached the beach while retaining relative distance, taking an angle of about 75-85 degrees, 3. receded into the sky and was lost as the sky darkened.

1 orange circle zig zagging at a very fast pace across the night sky above the ocean changing direction often

While visiting pismo beach for new years with a group of friends, we stayed in a hotel suite with a patio overlooking the ocean.

Around 5:00am everyone fell asleep except me. I wasn't very tired so I decided to grab a blanket and lounge on the patio over looking the ocean.

It was still dark outside, and I was deep in thought when suddenly I noticed a small orange circle in the sky. I thought it was a star but then as I stared at it I realized that it was moving. It was zig zagging all over the sky at a very fast pace changing its direction often.

I was so stunned, to scared to move or blink. I just layed there frozen following it with my eyes. At some points it would go so far away that it was barely visible but then suddenly it would change direction and zig zag its way back to my direction.

I layed there watching it for about 45 minutes to an hour until the sun came up and it disappeared.

my girlfriend and i decided to take the usual walk on beach from my house in grover.its about a 2 minuete walk to pismo state beach. we were walking up a dune and found a place to sit.there were alot of people camping out on the beach.i was looking south towards V A F B and i noticed a blinking yello light moving from the beach into the land at a north east way.it wasnt going to fast so i dint want to trip out.i alerted my girlfrined who said she noticed it also.it was wierd beacause it seemed to not be going to fast bit it speed up,slow down,blink sparatically,like one time it be 3 blinks otheres 1 and i think it even went up to 6.we see alot of wierd stuff here i think i saw another wierd one!

GLOWING LIGHT OVER PIZMO BEACH PIER ON NEW YEAR'S EVE.

MY FAMILY AND I WERE VISITING PISMO BEACH ON NEW YEAR'S EVE. WE WERE WALKING BACK TO OUR HOTEL ALONG THE PIER WALKWAY AT ABOUT 8:00PM WHEN I NOTICED A BRIGHT LIGHT COMING FROM THE EAST (OVER THE CITY OF PISMO) I THOUGHT MAYBE IT WAS A HELICOPTER BECAUSE I SAW OTHER AIRCRAFT IN THE AREA AND IT WAS MOVING ABOUT THE SAME SPEED, BUT THE GLOW OF THIS OBJECT WAS MUCH BRIGHTER THAN THE OTHER AIRCRAFT. AS I WATCHED IT COME CLOSER, I JOKINGLY TOLD MY FAMILY "LOOK AT THE FUNNY LOOKING UFO COMINGTHIS WAY." IT WAS APPROXIMATELY 1200 FEET ABOVE US, MOVING TOWARDS THE OCEAN. MY MOTHER AND FATHER IN-LAW COMMENTED IT LOOKED LIKE THEY PUT CHRISTMAS LIGHTS ON A HELICOPTER. THE LIGHTS WERE GROWING BRIGHTER THEN DIMMING AS IT WENT PASSED THE PISMO BEACH PIER. WE COULD NOT HERE THE SOUND OF ANY ENGINES OR HELICOPTER BLADES. THE OBJECT ALL OF A SUDDEN, STOPPED, TURNED A LITTLE TO THE NORTH AND THEN HOVERED IN ONE SPOT. Triangle shaped craft flew over the ocean.

I was on vacation for my Mother's birthday at Pismo Beach. I was on the balcony of my hotel room relaxing and looking out over the ocean, when I saw a shooting star fall down towards the ocean. About a second after the shooting star was out of sight a triangle shaped thing shot across the ocean, over my hotel, and out of sight again. It moved faster then anything I've ever seen before and without any sound. It had four solid blue lights in a triangle formation on the bottom of the craft.

I walked out my girlfriend's front door back then in the early 80s and have never reported this I've told it to a lot of my friends and I could show you in the distance but there's no aircraft that the human race has that can travel the way this thing did it went from A to B in our sky that would have taken the fastest SR22 aircraft to fly at possibly 502 a thousand miles an hour it would have taken it over an hour to fly this distance this thing went from A to B in a split second and then it went back from b2aaa and it flashed and then it went back from A to B and then it kicked it in the high gear after it flashed again and it seemed to what B was scanning our planet and it blew my mind and after it's scanned at the first time in like it went back and forth and back and forth and back and forth and back and forth stopped and Flash then it did it again and it was like doing stitches in a sewing machine across our Sky though it appeared to be scanning our planet was my best guess in this certain area and then after it went back and forth and back and forth and Flash the second time it was back at Point a again and then it was just like it start track in the end of the Star Trek show when Captain Kirk would tell Scotty to put it into high gear work Factor 10 and it would just be a flash of light that's how it left it just was a flash of light and it was gone and I was just sitting there with my jaw on the ground blown away and I couldn't even tell my girlfriend or anything cuz I don't think anybody would have believe me they would have accused me of being on drugs or something so I never said anything to her or anybody else but I eventually after the years and seeing all these programs on started telling people about it but I can show you exactly where it was and where I was and everything I mean I got it stuck in my memory and no one can ever take that from me. It was back before cell phones and unfortunately I wish I could ha! ve had one back then so I could have videotaped it or somethin! g it was about an hour or two before it was a few hours before it was going to start getting dark so this guy wasn't even really dark and this thing was just a bright white round light I couldn't see the shape of a UFO I wasn't close enough but I could see this light going across our sky and it was definitely under some intelligent control it wasn't a happenstance or I've seen shooting stars and all those things I know what they are is know this thing scanned our planet bro I mean this was a mind-blower it went back and forth like about 20 or 30 x super fast in a split-second splashed did it again and then flashed and it was gone it was a trip man anyway that's about it if you guys ever need to contact me or welcome to

An enormous triangle hovered over me for at least seven minutes.

My husband and I rented a beach house at Pismo Beach back in February of 79. We arrived there at approx. 2 am. My husband had already taken some of our baggage up the twenty or so steps to the house and was unlocking the front door. I was unloading the few remaining items from the truck. My little dog jumped out of the truck and ran to some nearby garbage cans, I assumed she saw a cat. I just happened to look up to admire the clear, starry night sky. Almost directly above me was a huge, dark triangular shape. It had three lights, one in each corner. I was terrified. I shouted to my husband " what is that?" he said "a helicopter". It was no helicopter, this thing made absolutely no sound whatsoever and the sheer size of it blotted out the star filled sky above me. I called my dog a few times until she finally came back to me and I grabbed her up. The object will still hanging above me, motionless and without a sound. I ran up the steps to the house and as I reached the porch, the triangle darted off toward in a northeasterly direction. I have no way of knowing just how high it was in the sky but it seemed to me that it must have been quite low due to the enormous span.
