Coming home from work at night. Thought it was helicopter then it darted off. I’ve flown on hundreds of helicopters this wasn’t one.

I was on my way home from work. I saw what I initially thought was a helicopter off the end of the curve of road. It appeared to have bright lights on bottom. It quickly changed direction by about 30 degrees and almost instantly disappeared.

My partner and I were servicing machinery close to 10 pm on Wednesday Sept. 6 2023 when he noticed the orange craft bouncing in the sky and he quickly pointed it out to me, as soon as I looked at it I knew it wasn't a plane or a drone, it was a very very bright orange light way up in the sky, it let off some sort of burst because you could see a light trail and then proceeded to bounce.. it almost looked like it was reappearing in another spot, like time travel or super speed, not a slow consistent path. And shortly after it disappeared. I have video evidence and 2 people that saw it at the same time in the same location.

Dark object high in sky remained motionless.

While watering flowers in the evening, I saw an object high in the sky which was motionless.

The object was black and did not seem to Rachel advertise the sky as a plane would.

I was able to get out my phone and tak.

e many pictures before the object disappeared.

Upon scrutinizing the photos later it seems that it was not an object but a hole in the sky which constantly changed shape.

Fast erratic moving lights that turned off and on.

I was watching what I thought were a couple of helicopter lights, when they flicked off and on and seemed to fly very erratically. The lights moved very fast and moved back and forth. I have never seen an aircraft move like that.

I then saw about 6 of these lights flick on all at once when all the lights went out I didn't see them anymore. The lights reminded me of how lighting bugs but they were not lighting bugs.

Witnesed 2 star like objects slowly move across the night sky then dissappear

I was out walking my dog and happened to look straight up at the clear night sky and witnessed 2 white star-like objects moving slowy toward the ESE. The best way to describe these is that they resembled two large stars the size and brightness of Venus.

After about 2 minutes the first object suddenly dimmed out and disappeared, followed 10 seconds later by the 2nd object dimming out and vanishing as well.

Sky cloudless, no wind.

About 30 degrees above horizon a fast skimming yellow fireball that traveled about 20 degrees from south to north by northwest on a straight path above horizon line.

Have previously observed various meteors/bolides, but this object was nothing like them: No trail or scattering of light; was a discrete yellow glow resembling a teardrop shaped bulb inwardly lit.

Streaked swiftly (no sound), with a slight declination to its path just before it simply went out - no fading.

I would not ordinarily bother to clutter this website with what I considered a bolide or yet another firework/Chinese lantern misperception, but this seemed genuinely unusual.

WHILE DRIVING HOME ON I-95 SOUTH I SAW A FIRST UFO SHOOTING DOWN FROM THE UPPER SKY. IT WAS ALL WHITE AND LOOKED LIKE A STREAKING COMET BUT WITH ITS TAIL DISAPEREING AS IT RACED DOWNWARD.

THE SECOND ONE WAS STREAKING ACROSS THE SKY NORTH AND WAS THE SAME SHAPE AND APPERANCE AS THE FIRST ONE.

As I was opening a gate at a parking lot, I looked up and noticed perhaps 10 or 11 bright orange lights moving slowly across the sky. They moved across to a certain point and then each one appeared to just fade away gradually as they reached that certain point. There was no noise at all and the whole event took no more than 5 minutes.

I told my coworker about this event and he informed me he had seen the same phenomenon a couple of nights earlier!

Saw a grey, triangular object with two lights hovering in the sky.

I was driving home from my girlfriend’s house and saw two lights low in the sky. I thought that it was either a plan landing at the local airport or a large helicopter, such as a Black Hawk, from Sikorsky.

However, as I turned down a street it seemed to change direction with me. I figured it wasn’t a plane then, so I rolled down my windows to hear if it was a helicopter. Not a sound. I thought it might be a blimp then, but as I turned down another road it changed directions with me again.

It came from my left side and hovered directly above me as I was driving no more than 200ft. I had a clear view of this unknown object. It was grey and triangular with the two lights on two points of the triangle.

Trying to focus on the road I looked down and when I looked back up it was gone without a sound. I couldn’t find any trace of it in the sky.

When I arrived home shortly after, I got out of my car and tried finding any moving object in the sky, but no such luck.

If only I had gotten out of the car and taken a picture!

At aprox. 10:40 I looked up in the sky noticing the amount of stars visible when I spotted a series of stars (UFO) starting to move South. The shape was somewhat of a diamond with 2 seperate lights following..Reminded me of a kite. I called for my boyfriend and son (he's 8) to witness with me. The UFO was moving forward and also back and forth and left and right. At one point it appeared to hover and move back and forth. While my son was watching with me we saw it turn around and then come back again. The type of turn reminds me of a wide turn in a car.

Last I seen of it it was traveling South moving closer to flying over my home. It was headed in the direction of Bridgeport Ct. There were airplanes flying and this object was higher in the air than the smaller aircraft flying.

It was 10:40 pm eastern time when i walked outside with my daughter in arms when i saw 2 red lights horizontal from each other with white lights on each side. the craft was massive in size like a giant zepplin. The object drifted sideways not making a sound. I went inside to get my wife and we returned to see it just over head going the same speed. as i lost sight of it to a tree i walked around the block only to find the lights now vertical from one another in a straight line drifting off in the sky. evenn though I could not make out the outline of this vessel I believe it was very big, but not a sound?

Huge spinning yellow orange lights in the Central Iowa sky.

My mom, 48, and I, 13, saw it. Dark, very cloudy night. We are driving down the road. I see 3, half moon size circular, yellow orange lights appear out of the clouds not very high in the sky, close together in a horizontal line. They spin slowly left to right counterclockwise. The one on the right would disappear as a new one came on the left. They disappeared as a formation of 4 fast moving planes in a horizontal line, far apart from each other, crossed right where it was. The planes didnt slow down or anything. The lights then came back with 5 or 6 of them a little farther away in a 45 degree angle. They were circling more rapidly now. My mom saw this, she didn't see the first set. She pulled the car over so she didn't crash because her eyes were now fixed on them out the side window. She rolled down the window and there was no noise. We watched them for 30 seconds until they disappeared for about another 30 seconds. They then came back in the horizontal row for about 10 seconds, then disappeared never to be seen again by us. We waited and watched the skies around us for about 10 minutes. We are very used to seeing aircraft as we are in the National Guard flyzone along the Des Moines river. We have never seen anything like it. Mom's Notes: Location-county blacktop just west of Pilot Mound IA, driving North, appearance was in the western sky, just west of the Pilot Mound Cemetary. The 4 planes (small white blinking lights)flew south at a higher altitude. We ask that if anyone else in Iowa witnessed this, they report it to this center to help validate what we saw.

This was A l;arge green brite object that was at low level and flying straight across the sky. It appeared to be at about 1500 feet elevation and traveling at an unbelieveable speed. I watched it come from the east and go the west. I was standing by my barn on my ranch. It appeared to be less than a 1/2 mile south of me. It was a real bright green . The object was not falling from the sky, it was traveling on a straight path. It was so sudden that it really scared the heck out of me..

Twinkling multi-colored light in the South Eastern sky of Stratford, CT sky at around 3:00am. Lasted for over 2 hours, hovering.

For the last couple of nights I have been inexplicably waking up around 3:00 am. Early this morning was no exception, but upon waking, I noticed out my window what I thought was a very bright star. After staring at it for a couple minutes I thought it strange that it was extremely bright and colorful. I noticed it blinking or twinkling quite a bit and changing from red, blue and white. I got out of bed to investigate because I also noticed that it didn't move at all. It was quite high, higher than any helicopter. Take note - we live a few miles away from Sikorsky Aircraft so I know helicopters; we see them all the time, along with jet aircraft which land and take off at Tweed and Bridgeport Airports. The next thought that crossed my mind was that it may be a satelite or even the space station. But the object was stationary at all times and remained nearby another star, which I was using as a reference for distance. I woke up my wife (who was none too pleased) and after discounting all the previously mentioned possibilities, she agreed that it was something we have never seen before. We both went outside and with my binoculars, tried to get a closer view of the object. Even then, it was still too far away to discern any particular shape, but we could clearly see it changing colors. Also of interest is that for the two hours that we continuously observed this object it remained stationery and within the same cluster of stars, moving along with the group as the earth rotated. We saw this in the South Eastern sky without a single cloud around.

This is an UFO to me, I am just curious if it is to others as well.

Returning to the Oklahoma Panhandle State University campus after visiting a friend in an Amarillo, Texas hospital after a pit stop at a gas station in Stratford I saw in a distance an object made up of three visible lights. In the shape of a triangle. It moved fast and smooth in flight. It was less than a mile up in the air. I was mesmerized, but I tell you that this object was an UFO to me. It moved slow enough that I feel that government/airport tracking officials could ID it. But it was low enough in the air that I wouldn't think that radar could confirm it's existence. I went out to a creek crossing about 7 or so miles north of Goodwell, Oklahoma two times within a month timeframe and in a distance I feel that I saw the same formation gliding along the same path. Of course, the sighting was not so closeup.

I was driving to work (night shift, RN) and saw a bright golden light on the western horizon, approximately 30 degrees above the horizon, which was completely stationary ( size-wise, it was like holding a nickel with arm outstreched). Then another one appeared (2 minutes later, perhaps obscured by trees initially) at about 30 or more miles north (or to the right of the first-seen sphere) but exactly at the same elevation as the first-sighted sphere, and also complelely stock-still in the sky. I then instinctually knew this was extraordinary, and pulled off the road to observe, after seeing this for a total of 7 minutes.

After one minute, both spheres simultaneously moved toward one another, at a steady, very slow speed, in a totally steady linear path, over 60 seconds, then met exactly together and remained the same size and brightness as if superimposed but without change.

Now one, it slowly became smaller, as if moving to the west, but not changing directi! on or moving ( remained very still).

It disappeared over the next 30 seconds till not visible. No sound was apparent. No wobble, not corona, no glow. It seemed that the golden light was self contained.

V shaped UFO tracked for miles by Ct residents (Hudson Valley Connected)

This sighting had taking place some time ago near the year 1983. It was witnessed by hundreds in Connecticut and I had later found out it was first spotted in Lond Island NY. I seems it was tracked form Long Island all the way to Waterbury CT. My sister had received a phone call from a friend saying there was a UFO comming towards our house and it had just passed her house. Well by the time we had gotten outside a few other calls must had been made because we were not the only ones out there. As we waited more people from the nieborhood came out to see what was going on. To my best count there were more than 25 people outside in the street just in our area. It did not take long for this object to appear. The houses in the area were all two story and pleanty of tree's that stood a bit higher blocked our vision so we all stood in the street that never reiced much traffic. As this object came into view over the houses no one spoke. There wasn't much to see as it blocked out the stars and the underside was lightless. No sound from the craft was herd as we looked upon it. You could make out shapes on the bottom but not clearly becuase of the lack of light and it all seemed to be the same color a dull dark grey almost black. It had taken a close to a minute to travel over us, it moved very slowly but steady. It seemed to be just over the tree tops wich made judging the size nearly impossible because you could not see all of it at once. Like I had said it just blocked out the stars as it passed over us like we wernt there. As it passed out of sight nobody said a thing and people just seemed to go back to there houses a bit stunned.

My grandfather was ranting saying " there's no such thing as UFO's when we received the phone call but after it had passed by he hadn't said much. We went into the house and he turned on the am radio (WICC in Bpt) and we listened as people called in about this object in the sky. People tracked it all the way to Waterbury and it was said it followed Rt 8 all the way there causing traffic to stop. People got out of there cars on a highway to watch. As it hit Waterbury new reports came in saying it had lights on it and that it was V shaped, something I could not see for myself. The lights were reported as large white lights and it had hoverd there for some time as hundreds of people watched. If I am not mistaken it left at a very high rate of speed but I did not see this and my memory of what I had herd is a bit cloudy now.

My reason for writting this now is to gather more information on this sighting. I would like to research this further along with a few other sightings around that time. What I need is the exact date and time. I am planing to go to the library to see what I can pull up. You see this sighting was so huge that the next day it was in all the news papers dressed up as a hoax. It was reported as five ultralight aircraft flying in tight formation with huge lights on them that had come out of a NY airport. I can't speak for the sightings in Waterbury but what I had seen was by no means explained away by this. I have researched a bit about the Hudson Valley Sightings and I believe these are all linked but this one was seen by far more people than any of them I had read about.

I have read many of storys that revolved around this and one even went as far as to speak of the military shooting one down that came on regular intervuls in Long Island. Something of a plasma weapon used to take it down and it was tracked with dobblar radar ( a military radar before used weather forcasters, or so its said) I'm getting a bit off track here but if you have any information on this please post it here. It will be a great help to me... thank you.

My mother and I saw the craft. We were looking at planets with the telescope. When we looked around to find the next planet/star/observation we saw the triangle pass over. It was straight overhead and kept going do north towards the Oklahoma panhandle and Kansas.

Cigar shaped, moved slowly.

My son for several nights demanded I look out the window to see the "UFO". I refused. I had seen one in 1967or so and it had freaked me out so badly that I didn't want to look. Finally one night he just would not be quiet so I looked. I saw a small in the distance cigar shaped object moving slowly. I got the binoculars and saw that it had three colors, I think. I remember red or orange and brown, possibly white. It just slowly moved out of sight. It was NOT a plane. It looked like a cigar.
