I believe I witnessed a UFO reentry from hyperspace, very exciting.

I am a retired RF Engineer living here in Truckee California where the skies are clear and dark at night. I occasionally watch the eastern sky hoping to see something interesting. I got my wish, at 10PM on Thursday, June 21st, looking easterly in the heavens where satellites pass by I looked closely for movement and was about to give up when I saw a brilliant bright flash and from that flash emerged a lightly glowing orange object which began moving across the horizon to the north at an incredibly fast speed, gone and out of sight in about 90 seconds. Never have I witnessed anything that unusual in the skies before.

The following night while asleep I was awoken from a dream where I was outside watching the skies when a small UFO no bigger than a motorcycle zoomed up next to me and in my head I knew I was not to tell anyone about what I saw that night.

Sighted object(s) of two red-orange glowing balls with comet-like glowing tails travel at low altitude above freeway

Observed for second time within month of July including today, July 27, 2016, about 9:40pm.

Objects appeared to be fixed together about 50ft apart. Two red-orange glowing balls of light with a cloud-like glow trailing behind each 'unit' and making them appear like comet trails about 1-1/2 times in length longer than the width of the units or glowing balls.

At first appearance it seemed like perhaps two closely piloted helicopters carrying glowing balls rigid to their bodies and the glow lingering in a trailing cloud or mist behind them.

There was no sound from the object or possible paired objects. It flew from west to east overhead maybe two hundred feet above Interstate 80 going past Donner Lake in Truckee, toward Reno. It traveled about the same speed as freeway traffic below in a straight path coincident with the freeway.

The appearance of the two glowing balls of light with glowing tails, the lack of any audible noise, the steady and straight navigation, and with no experiences in my life of seeing such object(s) in night sky in my lifetime, and the seeing such an event twice in the same month, all provoked me to research the Internet for any such similar sightings tonight or in the past. I found this site and read the report for California UFO sightings and found some were similar to mine, so in the interest of contributing to this data am filing this report for the record.

Group of lights with rapid movent and chasing

Alerted by civilians to lights in the sky. Walked out with three partners and looked to north sky. Saw 6-7 lights moving In a a group. Lights would change direction rapidly and move laterally any direction. One light sped up very rapidly and appeared to taunt the other light. It would rotate around the other light in a movement best described as a pendulum movement. Those lights then rapidly separated and moved toward one of the other lights and immediately formed a perfectly sided triangle which held in place for a few minutes. Two of the other In the group continued east of the triangle and then all lights moved together spread out but in a group moving to the north until they went behind a large mountain range. Just prior to loosing sight of the group what could be called a rogue light came along into our view traveling north east and then instantly change direction to move due north as if to catch the larger group. The movements were not terrestrial in any way shape or form. No sounds no blinking lights just a constant white light.

02/17/15 between truckee ca and cisco grove ca. cylindrical obeject with three dim lights hovering over tree line.

I am a truck driver. I was on my way into california and I had just gone through the weigh and agriculture Check station a few minutes before i came around a bin on i-80 when I noticed what seem to be a cylindrical object just over the tree line. it had three lights on it that where dim. but they where brighter than any star and it was definitely in our atmosphere. I almost stoped my truck to see it longer but the sight and location of it scared me l seemed to be the only one on the road that morning. I kept going so I only Saw it for 45 seconds to a minute. It made no movement. It just hovered over the tree line.

Very white, bright triangle shaped object seen near Truckee, CA 8/13/11.

The event happened on the night of Aug 13th around I think 9:30pm. My husband and I were camping in northern California near Truckee at Prosser Reservoir. We were watching the sky for the Perseids hoping to catch some before the full moon obscured the viewing too much. We were looking towards the southern horizon and there was a bright object that appeared to be heading north. Our first thought as we saw it at the farthest point from us was maybe it was the space station. However as it moved closer towards us we realized it was lower in the atmosphere than a jet plane flies and it was completely illuminated bright white like an LED. There was only one object. There were neither color lights on it nor any flashing/blinking lights. My perception was that it had a similar shape of an isosceles triangle or maybe diamond shaped. There was no sound associated to it like an echo you hear of a jet. It moved generally north almost like it were following alo! ng highway 89 heading in a direction towards Sierraville (not exactly above 89 just trying to give some map reference and direction). When we first noticed it in the southern horizon until we watched it head the opposite horizon lasted maybe 2 minutes. It didn’t move very fast and it seemed to use an easy zig-zag pattern. It’s hard to explain exactly except when we watch satellites their trajectory appears to have a constant (almost straight to the eye) course whereas this did not. It didn’t lose its brightness at all while we were watching it nor did it dim or get brighter at any time. When it was in the farthest side of the northern horizon for our view it still looked bright in the sky like a large planet or something else.

We’re avid campers and like to watch the sky for planes, satellites, meteors, etc. I’m 34 and a business analyst for a company in the area and my husband,35, is a driver for a waste company.

Weird flashes of light, two nights in a row.

I was Camping with my family just outside of Truckee, Ca. during the 4th of July week, at a place called Tahoe Timber Pines.

On the 7th of July, and somewhere between 10 and 11ish pm., (I didnt have a watch) I was just sitting quietly star gazing (very clear night), when I had suddenly observed 3 to 4 very bright flashes of light emminating from the same spot in the night sky. Small pinpoints of bright light.

The 4th flash of light was a little different than the previous ones in that it was almost like a diffused strobe flash, like when someone takes a flash picture outside at night- that kind of effect.

My first thought was that it was some kind of occillating space junk or debris, and was catching the sun at a particular angle. I thought that, because it was about the same height as a satellite. I had seen a couple of regular looking satellites later in the evening, as well.

The strangest thing about this observation, was that I saw the same kind of flashes the very next night! In the same spot as well.

The only difference was that it didnt do the strobe flash.

But the other 3 flashes about 2 or 3 seconds apart were exactly as I saw them the previous night.

Wierd.

Sudden appearing bright light flew incredibly fast straight down until out of sight.

My daughter and I saw a sudden very bright light appear in the sky and as soon as it appeared, it flew straight down at an exceedingly fast rate of speed out of sight.

The object moved accross the night sky, suddenly turned bright white,stopped and emmitted a smaller white light.

While watching the stars I saw an object traveling from South to North at a high allitude. It was traveling across the sky when it turned a bright white color and stopped. A smaller light appeared to come from it and moved across the sky on a different path. I went inside to get a telescope to look at the now stationary object but when I returned it was gone.

Several variouse lights of different color and irratic movement.

Several lights mimicing planes, stars, planets. Irratic movement patterns and changing colors periodically.

One pulsed a slow orb of white/blue light only once. Another, while moving, left a light behind it resembling a small distant star.

The more we talked about them and called other peoples attention to them the fewer remained, until they were gone.

A friend from across town called me simultaneously to report them. A physcic link seemed provalent for myself, like they would respond to a communication of sorts. Moving and reacting to catch my attention, perhaps displaying a playful attitude. I can only conclude that there was no danger or pressence of evil involved. Some of the lights may have even been spiritual entities for all I know.

Large,white, shimmering, orbital object seen skimming peaks on Donner summit, CA. early morning 08/05/04

Exiting the off-ramp in Truckee, CA., I looked up to the west at Donner summit. A place I climb frequently. There, covering 1/3 of place we call rock garden, that is, blocking out 1/3 of it was avery large,bright,white,shimmering, circular shaped object. By scale, aproximately 4-500 ft. in circumferance. It moved north to south at a very slow rate of speed. By the time we exited, went under the over-pass, and looked up again, it had moved approx. 5-600 yds. to the south. This was way too big to be any conventional aircraft, moved way too slow, and was too close to the peak. which was a great reference for me to scale the craft, since I had climbed there often. My friend also saw it briefly and took great interest. He later found there to be 4 other similar sightings in a 30 mile radius....that day. 1st report, 2nd sighting

Round very light blue object goes behind a small mountain

Myself and my girlfriend are both professional people. I work as tech support for an ISP and my girlfriend works for the electric company. We were going east on I-80 from Sacramento, CA to Reno, NV. It was about 3:00am when we were about a mile or less from Truckee. In the sky to the left (from my position, it would be at the top left edge of the windshield) we both saw a light blue almost white perfectly spherical object with a darker blue horizontal line across the center. It also appeared that there was an aura of the same darker blue around the object. From our vantage point in the car, the object appeared about the size of a normal full moon. It slowly travelled in a straight diagonal line to the left, then went in a slight arc downward behind a small mountain just off the highway. By the time we reached a point on the highway where we could see where the object would have been there was nothing there

Quick flying "v" shaped object, red and white lights outside Truckee/Tahoe CA

I was driving on Hwy 80 from Reno to San Francisco in the Sierra Nevada Mountains when I saw this very fast and low flying "V" shaped object in the air. It was nearly dark and it had a row of red lights along the V shape on top and a series of pulsating white lights on the side and bottom. The strangest thing was how fast it moved up and down and forward and backward. No plane or helicopter could have moved that fast.

Bright round slow moving light with spotlight and colorful tail, explodes.

Five of us were coming back from a bike ride on Hwy.89 near Truckee, Calif. Round large light moving slowly with a cone shaped tail of blue, purple light, sparker type behind it. There was what appeared to be a spot light from it. The object moving upward. Very bright and then it exploded and a bright light was left including the tailings of color. Moon to the left so the light of the object was not from the moon. Didn't hear any noise of explosion or see any debri. Others driving, stopped to witness it. I thought it was an aircraft of sorts. Was told by the Highway Patrol, that it was possibly from Landenburg Launch.

Driving West on I-80 about 10 miles West of Donner Summit; saw red light formation approaching from Northwest to Southeast. As it came closer; I could distinguish 5-7 main objects; followed by long, dense cloud of "sparklers". All colors red.

Hi Peter--I talked with you on the phone in May about an object over the Sierras in Eastern California. Saw something again tonite--was not Venus or swamp gas; but I suppose it may have been highly unusual meteor breaking up or space junk re-entering. Was driving westbound on I-80 earlier tonite; on the way back from Lake Tahoe; where I do field studies in hydrology. About 15 miles West of Donner Summit, at about 9:40 PM; I noticed what I thought was an unusual red airplane light directly in front of me; moving from Northwest to Southeast. I kept one eye on it (the other on the road, as I was driving on the highway at 60mph), and I was able to distinguish 5-7 distinct large red lights (of various relative sizes) all moving together at about the same constant velocity (speed and direction). Following and centered behind the leading and largest red light was a long, broad, dense shower of reddish "sparks" or "sparklers"--very dramatic and beautiful! I quickly pulled off an exit to watch it as it moved overhead to the East; but lost sight of it behind a steep hill (or mountain) directly in front of the object. I had very good viewing conditions; as I was at about 5000-6000 foot elevation in the Sierras, and had a clean ! windshield. Wish I wasn't driving; so I could have gotton my binoculars!

huge circular object with triangular shaped lite patterns on bottom humming sound bye lake outide of truckee, CA

we were camping on prossier lake rite outside of truckee california my friend and i were in our sleeping bags in the back of a pickup truck about to go to sleep our parents and about 10 other friends were still up partying around the camp fire and table. we were rite next to a creek that lead to the lake with a small mountain on the other side of the creek.

rite when we got in our bags a very very large craft came over that mountain in complete silence except for a humm it came over the mountain and over the creek and above our heads directly it was the size of the mountain it had triangular shaped lite patterns all over the the botom I know one lite of the triangle pattern were red and the other two were blue and maybe green

it flew over and that was it no one talked about it for weeks after, and then everyone started questioning what they saw and how they could not remember it for weeks

Subject and witness lying on backs in sleeps bags after day if logging. Both noticed silver/blue star off in distance, that got closer very fast. Object went behind some trees and when appeared again was very close. Moved over them about 200 ft above ground and 100 ft off to side. Was about 200 ft long, cigar shaped and about 25-40 in heighth. Object began to turn reddish in center and then complete object became reddish, with a glow that lit the area around it for perhaps a half mile or so, and had an exray effect. Subjects could see trees through the leaves of trees in the area. Object remained over them for about 10 mins or so, and then moved slowly away, at same heighth above ground and giving off reddish x-ray effect. Object then slowly rose into the sky and dissapeared.

Same as above. Related to me from subject. Never told anybody about it. Figured peop;e would think they were crazy. Name of Subject who observed object available for interview if neccessary. I told him of the Art Bell Radio Talk Show and the UFO reporting center and he then volunteered the3 avove. Subject has no access to a computer and does not listen to talk radio.
