It was 7:15 in the evening on the 13th there was a huge light hiding behind some very dark clouds in the south east. My guess it was about 2 miles wide. Meanwhile the moon was coming up in the northeast. Did anyone take notice? And is this still a mystery? My son was driving and saw it briefly. In the Tracy Press I noticed, someone called 911 and reported it. But didn't they give an explanation. I posted this on Craig's list and a man responded saying it kept moving south.

5pm outside looking up at commercial planes and birds, saw white "star" "planet", very high compared to planes. no details/movement

Sunday, june 23rd I noticed the white "star" visible in bright early evening. sky was too bright for my phone to photograph. i'm facing southward and it appeared bright white and small like a star at night. i asked family members to check it out everyone was able to spot it. we thought it was interesting and assumed it must be a planet. it kept my interest for about an hour and it did not appear to move. we left around 6 for about an hour or so and returned to the house the object was still visible and in approximately the same position perhaps a few degress westward barely (right from my vantage). I didn't note the times but it started to move eastward (left from my vantage) until about 845pm it appeared to get smaller and turn orangish in color and eventually faded away within about 5 minutes. from my vantage point it was above my back backyard neighbors to the right chimney and disappeared above my directly back backyard neighbors left side roof maintaining at about 10 o'clock in the sky. i was able to take photos before it vanished because dusk lighting. my camera isn't very good and could not make out any details. Just weird and i have been searching for what it could be.

The next day while in turlock, ca I tried to see if I could locate it but was unable. Then on the following day I went outback to see if I could find it and I did. The sky was partly cloudy but it was still visible when clouds passed. Object is above clouds, looks like a star in the daytime sky. This was early afternoon about 130pm. I also screenshot my compass at that time as well. I assume because the sky is too bright I could not view it on my camera at that time. We had commitments and were unable to track or pay attention to it.

We have since returned home to oklahoma and have not attempted to see if I could find it here. But I am still so curious at what could be visible and so bright in afternoon and early evening sky. I keep thinking is it possible to see venus at those times, probably not, so what is it then

On my porch in Tracy California looking to the West over the ultimate hills towards the East Bay. Started seeing several lights In the distant night sky flying past a really bright star in the Western sky. They were following one another at a 45ﾟ angle to the North. After about 30 seconds of watching this formation another group of 3 to 4 also started flying up in the night sky above this star and to the North. After standing there for at least a minute or 2, Another group have at least 4 to 5 lights went flying up into the night sky pass the star in the West to the North. I then called my wife to the front porch where she also sat there with me for several minutes and watched 2 more groups of 2 to 3 lights go off up into the night sky in the West past the star headed North. I am prior military and know what jets flying high look like. I also know what missiles that have been launched into the sky look like. I have never seen anything like this in my ! life.

Yellowish-white Light Show Gliding Across The Sky

UFO SIGHTING, 9.11.19, approximately 5am, Pacific Time, Tracy, CA, USA 95376-1707 I walked out of the house through the carport and stopped at the end of the carport and looked up into the sky and I saw it. It was up high in the sky, a little to right of center and far away. (More details to come).

It continued traveling to the west as I started walking to go check the mail (we live in a mobile home park where we can walk to our outdoor post office boxes), but I kept looking up at the sky and I kept seeing it until it was blocked by the mailboxes for about 8 seconds. I was a little afraid because I was alone with this experience. My heart was pounding and my breathing was rapid. My eyes were wide open for the next couple of hours after it was over.

After it was out of sight, I went inside and immediately told my boyfriend about everything I’d just seen, then I wrote all of it down. Then I Googled “airplane lights” and “airplane light patterns” and none of them came even close to what I saw.

Details: All the lights were the same color, very bright yellowish-white but mostly white, the size of airplane lights, I think they were all the same size, but the end-lights might’ve been a little larger. (This is the only detail I’m not sure of).

In the 5 minutes or so that I stared at it, I observed that it was traveling from east to west, which for me, was from left to right, and judging from the distance away, it seemed as though it was moving at about the same speed as an airplane. Steady movement, never stopping or changing direction. About the size of an airplane. Pretty far away, couldn’t hear any sounds coming from it.

Because there were so many lights coming from it, I could almost see a shape but not quite. The lights at either end were higher up than the lights in the middle section. The lower, middle lights were not in a level straight line across, but in a right-side-up bowl shape.

After watching it for a minute or so, the lights gradually turned off from right to left to the halfway point, they stopped for a second, then they continued to go off all the way to the end at a faster rate than the previous action except for the last light on the left, then that one went off separately, then immediately they all went on again one by one, but quickly this time, from left to right.

The light “show” lasted for about 5 seconds. I hesitated to report this because I kept thinking that no one would believe my story. This is why I haven’t reported it until now.

I was 12:17 midnight as i was looking out my window, i seen an object flashing in the same spot without moving. Suddenly it began to move very slowly i started taking pictures and video recording it. The object flashed and moved very slowly it made 5 circles in the same spot from some pictures its clear but still can’t really make the shape. It had three flashing lights off and on and as it moved it moved at different altitudes. At the same time an airplane went by and the airplane flew in one direction with the its lights and a red light this one was very different. It seem as circular object with 3 flashing lights moving very slowly. From the pictures, it doesn't look human like.

At first I saw pulsating lights headed west board that lit up every second leaving a slight visual echo for a total of 5 times. Then from the south, came a small orb. Seemed to very high in the sky, it proceeded north until it suddenly then followed the other craft west bound. This one was much slower. It would pause briefly. It would also do a small circle and then proceed onwards. This took place over 5 minutes until it was out of my sight.

Orange lights and shape-changing pale jelly-fish-looking object seen in South Tracy.

At due north in the sky on 12/6 at 7:45PM, three people witnessed a bright glowing orange roundish object, approximately 30-45 degrees from horizon in the northwest sky. Two minutes after first observing the object, it separated into two pieces, with the smaller piece at 5:00 relative to the larger. The smaller piece dimmed after a few seconds of appearing and went out and the larger piece continued to glow orange.

After a few seconds, the larger object appeared to decrease in size and brightness. Then the larger object dimmed and disappeared. After a couple of seconds, it suddenly brightened to same original intensity and then after a second or two it dimmed back to a faint orange glow. It then disappeared again. While this was going on, a strong beam of light from the North East flashed from the ground toward the object. This happened a couple of times for a period of a few seconds.

Within a minute of the orange object disappearing, in the same gener! al area, we then saw what appeared to be a white translucent jellyfish like object, which at first was traveling slowly in a due south path directly towards us. It came almost directly overhead and it slowly took a north easterly path and continued to take that path until it disappeared from view.

All three of us got a good look with binoculars. Under the binoculars, object was pale white, translucent, shape-shifting. It looked like a jellyfish that can change its form. The shapes were not discernible, nor symmetric, almost like random shapes, but very broadly changed from being roughly spherical to more flat and back to spherical, with protrusions sometimes coming out. Was very easy to see changing of shapes with the naked eye as well.

Seemed large maybe 50 to 100+ feet in diameter, but very difficult to say how large with any confidence. The changing of the shape appeared to be unlikely due to wind alone (like a balloon) as far we could tell considering very low wi! nd speed (we looked online and there was a 4mph gust north eas! t wind).

There was no wind we could feel (trees were completely still). The object was changing shape much more quickly than what seemed possible due to wind alone. Object also seemed to be moving noticeably faster in the northeast direction than what seemed possible by wind alone (although the low wind was blowing in the direction it disappeared from our view).

Estimated altitude, very difficult to say, no clouds for altitude reference, but probably between 1000–4000 feet. Jellyfish-looking object disappeared from view after ~2 minutes of initially seeing it.

This witness testimony was written by all three witnesses within minutes of the event.

A cell phone video was attempted but could not get the objects in focus.

Strange lights over Tracy, California.





I was driving down N. Chrisman Road toward the Tracy Defense Depot a little after 6 p.m. on Nov. 7. I saw three white lights in the night sky configured in a triangle. They looked like an airplane. There were other lights from airplanes in the sky, except there was a powerful cone of light shooting down toward the ground from these three lights. I thought maybe I was watching a police or military helicopter searching for something on the ground. Inside the cone of light were blue and green beams that looked like maybe they were from a powerful spotlight. The beams were tracking the three lights and I couldn't tell if the beams were from spotlights on the ground or being beamed down from the lights. I could see lights from what looked like an airliner in front of the three lights and I thought maybe the airliner was towing some kind of device with a powerful spotlight on it. Except the three lights kept going higher and higher in the sky as the airliner flew! west toward the Bay Area. I pulled over in the dirt on W. Schulte Road before the depot. The sky was glowing green where I had first seen the three lights over the depot, except the three lights were high in the distance now headed up and to the west. They now looked like a single star like the other stars in the sky, except a faint cone of light was shooting down from it almost looking like a comet. My phone couldn't get a picture and the lights were fading higher and higher. The green glow in the clouds was still there to the south over Tracy. I tried to keep my eyes on the lights as I entered town but they disappeared in the sky behind the city lights. First time in my life I have ever seen anything like it.

Left half of cicular object in night sky among stars-seven lights in arc with two spokes-one in upper left quadrant and one in lower left quadrant. It is in upper center of screen during TV show "Cougar Country" on NAT GEO WILD and due to repeat at 7AM Pacific time Dec. 28. It occured for two seconds at the 27 minute 24 second to the 27 minute 26 second portion of program. On television presentation of "Cougar Country" on NAT GEO WILD channel I saw left arc of circle in night sky-seven lights among stars with two spokes-one in upper left quadrant and one in lower left quadrant. The sighting is for two seconds at the 27 minute 24 second to 27 minute 26 second portion of program. The program will repeat at 7AM Pacific time Sunday Dec. 28.

04/21/2013 04:45 oblong orange/yellow bright light traveling west to east in Tracy, CA for 30-60 seonds, then disappeared

On Sunday, April 21, 2013 my husband and I were arriving home early morning around 4:45 a.m. I looked up to see the stars in the very clear sky (no clouds) and saw a very bright orange/yellow light in an oblong shape slowly passing over my house in Tracy, CA. Since I am a retired flight attendant, I would say it was abaout 6,000 ft. up. My first thought was it could be an aircraft on fire and slowly descending. It was not moving fast like a meteor or shooting star but at a medium pace like an airplane. It was moving from west to east in the sky. There was no tail or wing lights just a large oblong light. There was no engine sound like other aircraft that we have heard before. Not a helicopter or airship to my knowledge. We both watched it for approximately 30 to 60 seconds. My husband tried to take a picture with the cell phone to no avail. The strange thing that makes me still feel uneasy, towards the end of its journey the light started to fade.

Then to our astonishment it disappeared completely into the night sky.

I went into the house and returned about a half hour later because I couldn't believe what I saw and then didn't see. I thought maybe there was a cloud cover. Dawn was starting to break and the sky was as clear as could be.

6 unidentified crafts seen by 5 people

I witnessed an undetermined flying space craft. I live in Tracy, CA and the occurrence happened near Mac Arthur Blvd. and Valpico Rd. The ship had these lime green lights on it and was hovering in the air at approximately 7:25pm-7:40pm on October 28th 2010. The craft was flying in a really weird pattern that a plane could not. It was circling around and flipping upside down, then pausing and staying in one spot for a long period of time almost like hovering. I am not the only person who witnessed it, there was another car parked that was taking pictures and just as curious as I was. Unfortunately I didn’t receive their names or numbers at the time cause I was on my way to pick up my friend and they left right before I did. I wish to know what this ship was.

About an hour later my friend and I stepped outside and witnessed 5 more unidentified ships in the same area I saw the first ship. We were in such astonishment that by the time we were walking back to my house to get a camera they started to scatter and disappear. I never really believed 100% in space ships before now, but I am completely convinced now because there is no other explanation. The shape were more circular and the places the lights were placed were NOWHERE near what an airplane would have them. I really think that this needs to be explored more.

This is not the first time I have seen a ufo in Tracy, ca. As a prospective scientist, I can not make any assumptions on what it can be, just mere observations. One thing that I know, It is not a plane.

I saw a red and blue "V" shaped object flying through the sky and emitting a bright l.e.d.-like light.

I was outside watching my nephew play ball and he looked up and asked why the bright light was on the plane. I looked up and began telling him that it was for them to see in the dark and noticed a bright l.e.d like red and blue constant light emitting from a "V" shaped object. I watched it for about three minutes and then received a call from my mother, who is a paramedic, and she told me that her crew was witnessing the same thing. I told her I was watching it too then proceeded to call the Police to witness it. I kept watching it until it started to travel towards Livermore, Ca then turned around and came back towards where I was. I watched it make a 180 degree turn without even slowing down then do the same thing again and head back to Livermore where I lost the object.

We live above a known commercial plane highway and we definitly know that this was not a commercial plane. It traveled above us and to the the southwest. We know that this did not have any other light signitures

2 white lights, one red and another white light in a line found over Tracy in the evening.

I was riding home with my family on 580 going southeast from livermore to modest. After spending the last few minutes, we left my grandma's house and we left livermore, heading home for modesto at about 8:30 pm.

About halfway through the section of the freeway, i look up at the stars and see planes flashing their lights. But something else caught my eye. Naturaly, I couldn't see it because it was dark, but I saw 3 white lights in a line with a red light. the order was white, white, red, white, all in a line. The lights were glowing, unlike the triangular flashing lights of a plane. It either was staying still or moving very slowly.

My mom did notice it and asked if it was a plane. I knew it couldn't be a plane because everyone knows a plane has flashing lights, not glowing lights. Its also was not a communications tower like you would find in the mountains near Tracy. I dont have a photo or a video, all I know is, it was a UFO. If it wasn't, then what was it?

A triangle like device was making high degree angle moves over the likes this report in 2004.

silver oval shaped object with circular shinning lights

the object seen was an oval shape. silver and looked like it had a white lining around if and had 3 blinking lights that went in a circle. it was bigger than a plane and u could tell it was because a plane was headed in the direction but was much smaller than the UFO. it stayed still and didnt move but when it did it only moved straight up and then back down resting from where it started. it was seen in tracy california and in the direction of 580 northwest headed toward livermore. four people witnessed the sighting. i am a currently a high school student at the age of 16, my sister at the age of 11, my mother who is somewhere in her forties and her friend ((name deleted)) who is goin to school to be a realtor.

On this odd night My little brother was coming home froms his friends house (friends mom driving) My dog was barking then they pulled up. I waited for my brother to come in, but he didn,t. They were all standing there, staring at the night sky.

((name deleted--witness #2)) (my brothers friend) was acting as weird as normal. But his mom was in an extremely intense conversation. When i looked up there was a big ball of light, at first i thought it was a blimp. It got closer, and looked like a large lit up ball, it hovered near our neighborhood for a while. then took off.

When ((name deleted)) mom was off the phone she said, "Well you guys, I admit that I haven't believed in aliens until now. The police said that they are getting tons of calls about this and no one knows what it was.

"My brother ((name deleted)) called my mom and she said that they were seeing the same thing. ((name deleted)) dad and brother called and told us about what they saw. Then i saw jets flying after the sphere and pointed it out to every one else.

The ufo, seemed to be doing tclical manuvers, and that ruled out the theory of a blinp.

The story may not sound like much, but at that tme i was watching, wishing that the whole world was seeing this with me. IT was disturbing, yet exciting, and it all just felt weird, to accually be a person who can talk about their experience with the unknown. I have no specific number of witnesses, but i know of at least nine. As I said, ((name deleted)) friend's mom said, the police were getting alot of calls about this, and no one could prove what it was. But there have been more sightings around the U.S. that explained the same thing, and the government is probably hiding the truth from us, making random excuses for each one, look for truth!

it was an oval shape brighty lit no sound blinking lights underneath

my daughter who is 11 years of age went to the wal mart store in tracy calif. with my other 23 year old daughter and her 2 year old baby. they got on the car and were driving away when my 11 year old turned around to the back seat to give the baby a french fry and something caught her eye and she yelled to the driver oh my god what is that?

my 23 year old looked up and said oh my god i don't know. they said it was pretty low flying.. they raced home she did not even even turn off her headlights or turn the car off they ran in the house and said hurry up come outside, they were pretty flustered.

my son who is 16 and myself went to the front yard and looked up it was unbelievable i told my son quick go get the binoculars he came back out looked up and said words i can not type, we all looked through the binoculars we all saw the same thing i still can,t get over it. it was oval completely lit up and colored lights going around underneath it was moving fairly quickly then an airplane came close the disk slowed, then it went further away it was cloudy so it got to a point where we could not see it anymore.

i was not a person who ever believed in this sort of thing but i have to wonder now. my daughter was scared but the rest of us were very excited. we know what we saw we all drew similar pictures seperatly but they all looked the same.

15 meters brilliant silver object slowly floats then zips away on a clear day - gone in a fraction of second

I was driving a BMW with a passenger along the I-5 freeway near Tracy, a couple miles from the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL)at 2:10pm when suddenly, emerging from the clouds, approximately 1 mile away and 1/2 a mile up a silvery object, due to its brilliance, caught my attention against a backdrop of white stratocumulus, slightly to the right of my car. The object was easily visible from near perfect sky.

Thinking that the object was perhaps a cargo plane, I banked to the left lane and immediately ask my passenger if there was any air traffic in the vicinity other than the object. The reply was negative. As I completed the lane change, the unknown object suddenly appeared at my 1 o'clock position (no more than a mile away) to change shape. And it was definitely not a cargo plane. The upper section, not concealed by any cloud, was gray, and on the lower section there appeared to be one or two reflective bright silver panels. The object was approximately 13 to 15 meters in diameter. Suddenly it accelerated and vanished from what I believe was a slow moving position. We gave chase but the object was gone. a transparent looking triangle shaped craft flew west, then north-west, then disappeared.

Sitting outside at night and looking at the stars, we saw what looked like a transparent craft, triangle shaped, but with more wing length, and it was about where a small airplane would fly, below the clouds. it would show up randomly, and then start heading west slowly, then rapidly changed directions and headed north-west increasing its velocity. Then all of a sudden, it would disappear. After a few minutes, another would appear and do the same exact thing. This happened about 5 or 6 times. After a while, we saw the shape stop in the center of the sky, and just fly in circles, and then move in the same pattern it did before.

The "ship" was not just black colored, but more of a visual camouflage. We could tell the shape of it because the edges were a little lighter than the rest of it and the stars kind of moved around/through it.

I had just left tracy, CA traveling west on I-205 towards San Francisco. The sky was a little stormy but there was a clearing in it just ahead. In the clearing I saw what a I thought was a airplane leaving behind chemtrails. When I looked closer I saw that the chemtrails weren't getting longer. LIGHT IN THE SKY IS MET BY ANOTHER LIGHT AND 3RD LIGHT IS RELEASED FROM ORIGINAL LIGHT TO FOLLOW THE SECOND LIGHT.

I SAW A LIGHT IN THE SKY FOR THE 3RD NIGHT IN A ROW. I THOUGHT IT WAS A STAR BUT IT WAS VERY BRIGHT. THE PREVIOUS 2 NIGHTS IT DISAPPEARED AFTER ABOUT 20 MINUTES SO THEN I KNEW IT WASN'T A STAR. SO THE 3RD NIGHT I STARTING TO FILM IT, IT WAS TOWARD THE WEST.THIS LIGHT WILL BE CALLED LIGHT "A". AFTER FILMING IT FOR A COUPLE MINUTES ANOTHER LIGHT FLEW UP TO IT FROM THE LEFT SIDE AND STOPPED NEXT TO IT, LIGHT "B". I AM LABELING THEM TO MAKE IT EASIER TO EXPLAIN. THEN LIGHT B FLEW BACK AWAY TO THE BOTTOM LEFT DIRECTION IN A STRAIGHT SUDDEN MOVEMENT, THEN WENT TO THE RIGHT UNDER NEATH THE ORIGINAL LIGHT A AND B WENT STRAIGHT UP SO KNOW THERE A NEXT TO EACH OTHER. THEN A THIRD LIGHT CAME OUT OF LIGHT A , LIGHT "C" AND STOPPED IN BETWEEN A AND C. SO NOW THERE ARE 3 LIGHTS ALL NEXT TO EACH OTHER IN THE SKY. WHEN YOU ZOOM IN ON THESE LIGHTS THERE WAS A GREEN FLASHING LIGHT ON TOP AND A RED FLASHING LIGHT ON BOTTOM. I KNOW THAT SOUNDS LIKE AN AIRPLANE BUT THESE THINGS DIDNT MOVE LIKE AN AIRPLANE. THEN AFTER ALL THREE SAT NEXT TO EACH OTHER FOR ABOUT 2 SECONDS. LIGHT B TOOK OFF ACROSS THE SKY AND LIGHT C FOLLOWED IT. WHEN THESE LIGHT TOOK OFF THEY WENT EAST OVER MY HEAT INTO THE OTHER HORIZON AND THEY COVERED THE WHOLE SKY IN A SPLIT SECOND. SO KNOW LIGHT A IS STILL THERE WHERE IT ALWAYS WAS. BUT THEN WE NOTICED THAT LIGHT A IS KNOW SETTING LIKE A SUN. THIS ONE APPEARS TO BE IN THE EARTHS ORBIT, LIKE A SATELIT. SO WHAT I GOT OUT OF THIS WAS. LIGHT A IS EITHER A SATELITE, OR A UFO ROTATING THE EARTH LIKE A SATELITE, AND LIGHT B CAME UP TO IT, COMMUNICATED TO IT AND SAID FOLLOW ME, SO LIGHT A LAUNCHED SOMEATHING OUT OF IT TO FOLLOW LIGHT B. AND AGAIN WHEN B AND C TOOK OFF ACROSS THE SKY IT WAS AT A SPEED THAT IS UNBELIEVABLE. THIS EVENT WAS IN THE WEST ABOUT 45 DEGREES IN THE HORIZON AND WHEN B AND C TOOK OFF THE WERE OUT OF SIGHT IN THE EAST HORIZON IN NO MORE THAN A SECOND.

It was late aternoon,midsummer, me and my father were out on the balcony of his apartment smoking a cigarette. I was leaning on the rail looking out at the horizon while my father was complaining about his girlfriend at the time. I noticed some strange movement on the horizon. I was hard to tell what it was until it stopped very abruptly and hovered. I'd say it was approximately 1 mile away. It was white or possibly reflective in color. It was saucer shaped and made no discernable sound. It was moving in an erratic horizontal pattern from my vantage point. The object seemed to dissipate at certain points and then reappear in a different spot in the sky. As if moving so fast that it became invisible to the naked eye. It did this repeatedly for approximately five minutes. It would dart across and then hover, then dart back in the other direction. I personally watched it for about a minute or so and then pointed it out to my father who comfirmed that he was seeing the event as I was seeing it. We watched it for 3 or 4 more minutes and then the object dissipated one final time and was gone.

On or around October 30, 1999, two craft where observed approximately 500 feet in the air 15 miles south of Tracy California.

Peter, I will give you a brief background about my parents whom I sent you an email about there story earlier today. My father is retired, 68 years of age and was a heavy construction mechanic for 35 years. Dad designed and built numerous pieces of equipment used in the highway construction industry. Also, Dad is an atheist, no religious background of any kind! My mother, 62 years of age, was a part time cook and a full time mother, Catholic, and a strong belief in God. My parents live approximately 15 miles south of Tracy, California and have resided there for 22 years. They have a walnut orchard and it is located very close to interstate I-5 and Highway 132. On or around October 30, 1999, at about 8:00 p.m. both my parents where in the backyard sitting in their hot-tub. My mother looks to the south behind their orchard and observes two enormously large, what appeared to be circular objects with blinking red lights hovering approximately 500 feet in the air. The craft were spaced about 200 feet apart. They hovered in this position for between 60 and 90 seconds and there was no sounds at all heard coming from these craft. One craft then sped North over there home and the other went due East. When the craft left the area, they left at an unbeliveable speed, no sound what so ever heard, and the red lights that where observed changed to white when they departed. Both my parents are at a loss to explain what they witnessed and are even fearful to come forward to tell their story. They have never seen anything like this before and do not want to be percieved as crazy! But, this event forever changed their belief as to what may exist in our planet. They do not know if what they observed was alien, or, was some type of top secret military aircraft.

Ablation Cone with trailing smoke contrail Moving South to North. Extingushed at near overhead. Cone angle 20 approx. Deg.

Observed Bright light to south with streaming contrail of smoke. Object was apparently entering atmosphere. Ablation cone of approximately 20 degrees was observed with occasional bursts of sparks. Object was in a very shallow angle because it was observed in a South to North trajectory from near horizon to approximately 80 degrees (near overhead). Object ablation cone appeared to flare out near termination of the event at which point it extinguished with a glow that rapidly dissipated. Total transit time for the object from first observation to termination was a on the order of 20 seconds. I and my two sons were traveling southbound on Tracy Boulevard approaching the intersection with Schulte Road. During the object's transit there were at least 4 times in which sparks burst from the object, lighting up the ablation cone. My son first called attention to the object. I continued driving and found a place to stop. As we got out of the truck it extinguished at near overhead. the trajectory of the object was very nearly South to North. Estimating the altitude, I would place the path to be directly overhead at Dublin California, approximately 30 Miles to the West. This is of course the weakest of the estiamtes because I really could not tell how high it was for sure. If I had to guess, I would probbaly attribute this to the decaying orbit of a satelite in a polar orbit. It was too slow for a falling star and too fast for an airplane. What most impressed me was how long the object remained in view and the extremely shallow angle of the trajectory. It would be impossible for me to say that the path was not indeed horizontal

Observer seemed exceptionally qualified. We do not know what the object was that he and his sons observed. The object does not appear to be the Minuteman II missile, that had been launched out of Vandenberg AFB some 12 minutes earlier.

We saw 2 different objects. One looked cyl. in shape the other was a bright light. We have a video of the objects. We were driving on the freeway when we saw them, so we stopped, and got a short shot, then continued driving, and got some more video of it. Totally not counting the video we watched the objects for probably over 10-15 min.

On July 23,1999 we were on our way to my Aunt dorothy's house on our way back from disneyland, and when I was driving I had noticed a strange bright orange light off to the west that was shaped like a cyl. or a cigar, so I told everyone to look at that strange light, so the rest of the family looked and saw it also. We had noticed that there wasn't a cloud in the sky, and the sun had just sat down over the horizon a short time ago. So the sky was very clear, and blue with a beautiful sunset red shadow on the horizon. So we stopped by the side of the freeway, and took a short video of it, and then began driving again, and then my Fiance saw it again, and started videoing the object again, then out of nowhere appeared a brite lite round in shape I would guess just bouncing all around the skyline, and at one point it came pretty close to the other object. It was really wild to see, then they were gone, and we didn't see them again.

my car broke down on hwy I-5 i saw a light coming over the mountain i thought it was gonna be a light from a tractor when suddenley a oarange light apperred it reminded me of a comit but as we watched the light began to take off towards the sky and it began to change colors as it got hire in the sky it changed to blue then green then yellow then red you know how a comit has a tail well so did this until it turned red and got even with the stars and then was only a little red dot next to the stars then gone................

one night about 13 years ago I was working as a security officer for a pipe company in Tracy ca.located near a small airport. At about 2am, I was obseving a small plane being followed by a red ball of light as the plane was trying to land. The plane was invading the UFO. The plane did not land instead it went full throttle heading towards San Francisco. The red ball of light went towards the Tracy mountain. I would like to find the pilot of that plane to confirm my story.

Mount Diablo - Devil Mountain and UFO's

I was beginning to believe that I did not see what I saw. It was so long ago. I wanted to report it after seeing that others have reported seeing UFO's in the same area.

In the summer of 1980, I came out of the grocery store with the bag boy and noticed something in the sky. It was approaching sunset and I could see an bright shining object in the sky. I knew it was not a star because it moved. I asked the bag boy what the object was and he was clueless as well. I drove home looking at the object, not wanting to lose track of it. I went home and asked my father, who worked as a nuclear physicist at the Lawrence Livermore Laboratories what the object was. I figured he would know since he has put satellites up in space. He told me it was a weather ballon or a slow moving plane and went back to work in his den. About 45 minutes later, I advised my father that the object was still in the sky and that it was beginning to move around. My father turned white as a ghost and came running out to see the object.

We lived on farm land in a newly developed houses. Our backyard view was a large field and Altamont Pass (mountains) with Mount Diablo in the distance. So we had a great view of what we saw.

Anyhow, my entire family came outside to watch the object in the sky and then the neighbors on both sides of our home came outside to see as well. This was around 8:00 p.m. in the evening. The objects danced around in the sky and darted here and there. I ran into the house to get my father's binoculars. The object was triangular (almost like the letter "A") shape with lights on all three points. A few hours later the objects flew in the direction of Mount Diablo (Mount of the Devil, as the Indians called it.. a coincidence? I don't think so) and disappeared behind it or on it? That night on channel 7 (newscene S.F.) a reporter named Van Amburg presented a story about an object in the sky. It was a short uneventful segment about what people reported seeing, however, nothing was ever mentioned about it again on the news.

However, every night... I mean, every night around 1 or 2 in the morning I would wake up not knowing why. I would look out my window and it was there. It was like it knew I was there watching it. I watched it for a while and then it would fly away over Mount Diablo. This happened every night. I told my mother on occasion, but no one ever thought it was that important. I don't remember if it ever stopped or if I just forgot about it as I turned 18 years old and moved out.

To hear others talk about this area freaked me out and I had to share my story.

I don't know what that object was but let me put it this way. Even though I believe in God, I didn't believe that ghosts appeared in the daytime.... till I moved to Hawaii. I didn't believe in UFO's until the summer of 1980, but now I do.

the light were first notist in the north west at about a 45 degre angle, the secend light sas seen in the south east at about the same angle, they were coming together on what appeared to be a collison corse, when they came in to a close proxcemity to eachother they stoped then rotated in a clockwise rotation around a centrol point to the other path then contuned, one to the n.w. and the other to thr s.e. thje one to the n.w. went to about a 30 degre angle and began osolating at 90 degres righ and left what was about the with of my finger at arms leanght, the toher went s.e. to about the same angle and made a right obelique angle and contenued at armslenth sas about 8 in. then acclerated to a streek and disapered the other disapered at the same trime.
