There was 4 white orbs I saw when throwing out the trash and getting something for my mom in the car. They were going and coming back. 3 kept kind of moving and the other was bigger than the other in size.

My two nieces Leslie and Diana where walking around the school campus after buying boba beverages. We arrived the scene around 8 PM. I noticed the lights and told them to look. We where perplexed at the speed and colors the where maneuvering. Sometimes they would scatter or form a triangle of some sort. It seemed like they where In sync with each other like a symphony because they wouldn't collide. It was seen towards the direction of the full moon behind the clouds. It started to rain when we left the scene at 10 PM.

UFO'S RESPOND TO PURE INTENT, CONSCIOUS COMMUNICATION, AND EVEN LIGHT COMMUNICATION!!!

On the night of june 11th my lady and I decided to go stargazing as we usually do. Now while we usually see a few things here and there that we cannot explain, last night there was an unmistakably great number of lights forming triangles in the sky, not only that but there were many smaller singular lights floating around and even seemingly coming out of these triangle shaped objects which were absolutely massive in size. There were also a great number of regular planes, drones, helicopters and what else have you that we could definitely tell were human made, trying to follow and observe these objects. My lady and I both witnessed these objects firing blue beams of light in all different directions, not only that but we saw massive flashes across the entire night sky as if it was sheet lightning as well as hearing loud explosions the likes of which did not sound familiar to fireworks or gunshots at all. In an effort to try to make peaceful contact I took my ! phone out and began using the flash on it to try and communicate with one of the triangles directly above me. It was then I realized I was definitely not hallucinating as the massive triangle would follow the direction of the light I would place either on the ground or facing directly at it. It would absolutely mirror every movement of the light on my phone, so in an even greater attempt at communicating, we decided to close our minds and try to consciously connect with them, even sometimes out loud asking them to sway side to side or even make drastic movement so we knew we were not making a complete fool of ourselves, and to our surprise it actually listened!!! Not just one of these triangles but a few of them actually communicated back If you would call that a form of communication. I also saw a dark disk shaped ufo only a trees length high doing flips and spins through the air as it passed over the night sky directly above me. This was after I asked them to send somethi! ng or someone closer so I could know the truth about this. Thi! s is not the first time I've made direct contact with these craft.

At 5:25 AM Pacific time. I was taking out the trash and I saw something moving across the sky at a high rate of speed and the sky was perfectly clear I saw a big dippers I saw ordinary planes going around in the sky but this one was no plane it was moving so fast it was unbelievable to see a large cluster of white stars shot across the sky from north to East going at a high rate of speed faster than a plane would ever go there was at least 15 to 20 moving across the sky. They were not physically aligned they were all in different shades moving across the sky happened so fast by the time you pointed at them they were already across the sky headed east.

Shooting start transitioned into a black boomerang shaped craft.

My girlfriend and I were in our backyard around 8:30pm and 9pm star-gazing when we noticed what we thought was a shooting star. As it started moving overhead it then transitioned into a black boomerang shaped craft.

The craft was silent moving from West to East. It seemed to blend with the night sky yet at the same time repel it's surroundings. The only way we can describe it is that it was pushing through the sky. We could see some type of 'aura' or some kind of 'field' emanating off of the craft.

The entire sighting lasted about 10 seconds.

huge, triangular craft, silent sighting in Modesto (Highway Village Area)

Me, My husband,Father in law, and 12yr old son were sitting outside our home looking at our zodiac signs in the sky, when all a sudden we spotted a huge light that came towards us at first we thought it might have been a drone until it came right over us and it was a triangle craft with three lights in each corner one light was solid red while the other 2 were whitish-yellow. It made no sound at all and it was about 60ft wide huge craft. It moved side to side, up and down, hovering over the 99 highway then would circle around our neighborhood again our neighbors also were watching. We followed the craft on foot and in our vehicle. My husband and I were out stargazing during the meteor shower. We saw a triangular craft flying south to north. It had three lights that were dim. One on each point in a triangle shape, or it was three aircraft flying at the exact same rate of speed in a triangular formation. It was flying much faster than the average airplane and it made no noise. It was very dark against the night sky. My husband suspects it was some kind of military aircraft. It was so dark that it was hard to notice at all. It almost looked like a shadow going across the sky.

I took several images from the international space station external HD camera ( EHDC ) of luminous sphere shaped objects. The ISS was located over the southern tip of South America so I believe that the UFOs are close to the Antartica Peninsula. 2 stationary bright star-like white lights seen in a pair that then faded simultaneously in about 15 seconds.

I went outside at 5:20 AM. It was a dark sky. I immediately noticed 2 bright stationary star-like white lights (brighter than any other star or planet then visible) at about 10 degrees west of straight up or at an altitude angle of 80 degrees from the Western horizon. The lights were aligned in North and South direction and were spaced about 4 to 6 diameters of the moon (2 to 3 degrees) apart. The moon was quarter crescent. They then faded out beyond visibility within about 15 seconds at the same time as if there were coordinated.

I thought I should report this because it is the second time I have noticed this same type of event. About a year ago in the Spring I saw the same thing happen with a pair of star-like white lights in the evening about 8:30 PM at an altitude angle of about 45 degrees above the North horizon. Those lights were spaced about the same and were aligned East West.

Maybe these were both satellites but they must have been in high orbit because they did not move perceptively. I have found references to Iridium Satellite flares being seen in pairs but they were moving fast enough to leave a streak in the photo taken of them.

A horizontal string of 8-10 unidentified objects with a short vapor trail hovered for 5-10 min then thrusted upward rapidly,

On 3/18/18, at approx. 9:15am, my wife and I were traveling eastbound from Modesto, Ca to Oakdale Ca. I noticed an object in the horizon hovering with a short vapor trail. As I focused on the object I then noticed about 8 more similar objects lined up horizontally. I could not tell what the object looked like. As we traveled further eastward and about 5-8 min later the first object thrust upward rapidly and disappeared. Seconds later the 2nd and 3rd objects did the same thing. As they moved upward the vapor trail still was short but resembled an eye of a needle. They others that were still left were further away but continued to hover for another 5-10 min and were gone.

Two bright lights in the Northern sky that looked like bright planets but then faded out together.

I was just East of Modesto riding my bicycle heading East on a rural road after sunset, I notice two bright lights that appeared toward the North (on my left side) about 20 degrees above the horizon. They appeared to be stationary, like a planet or star. The color of the 2 objects was bright white. They looked like Venus at full phase but even brighter. One was directly above the other separated by a visual angle of about 1 degree, a little larger than the width of the full Moon. They remained bright for at least 1 minute and then gradually faded to two points of light in about 20 seconds, and then disappeared. When they were fading they appeared to be a point of light surrounded by a bight gas ball. Both were of the same brightness as each other during the entire observation, including when they faded out simultaneously together.

Modesto, CA. bright teardrop shaped object moving across the night sky with large glowing light trailing and no sound.





I was outside, looked up saw soft looking cotton/fuzzy textured glow of white light that looked like an upside down cone. At the tip the light was very long and slender. This connected to one bright teardrop shaped object that was a very bright white light. I thought that it may have been a plane flying through an overcast sky and disturbing moisture or a police chopper with their search light on and looking for something. The the light glow was not that bright and did not touch the ground. I ran for my camera and the light was gone. Then in the distance I saw the point of light, the teardrop shape. I ran and got my binoculars and could see the tear dropped shape brightly glowing. It would repeatedly go bright and dim. There was no sound, noted that the stars are bright, no noticeable haze or clouds; a passenger jet was clearly seen moving toward San Francisco airport. The object was not climbing but moving forward and only white. Weird.

5 orange lights in Modesto Ca

Was driving east on Floyd Av approaching Claus Rd when I saw 5 orange lights. There were 2 one above the other and next to them 3 one above the other both were strait up. It looked like they were part of a antenna until they split off and all but one dissapeared. I stopped and was looking at it float across the sky. Put a flash light on it and it immediately dissapeared. Another car pulled next to us and a couple inside said they saw the same lights. I looked in the dark sky to the south and saw a black object. Which promptly dissapeared as well.

Our daughter has always been a solid sleeper and she woke up right before we saw it and was afraid to sleep by herself.

Returned home from shopping and a couple of neighbors came walking up and and add they did one noticed a strange lite in the sky unlike anything any of us had ever seen. We just froze, starring at it. A red orange lite that was most definitely hovering.

At a few minutes after 2100 PDT, 09/18/15, I was talking on my cellphone (with a hands-free device) with a friend just a moment after my wife and I had stopped at a restaurant (approximately 4 NM from MOD airport) for a late-night hamburger; as I walked around the back of the car, walking south to east, I stopped to open the car door for my wife to get out of the car and noticed a very bright light NE of the town heading in our direction. The distance of the light from town was initially difficult to judge, not knowing precisely what sort of craft the light was part of, but judging by the rate of its approach and estimated altitude, I am guessing that I first noticed the light 30-40 miles NE of our location and possibly at 14,000'-17,000' (very difficult to judge with any precision).

Weather at the time: no clouds were visible; the brighter stars in constellations were all visible from horizon to horizon, so I'm assuming that the weather was CAVU.

There is absolutely no possibility that this light was a planet, for Venus had set sometime earlier in the west, and the light was much too large to be Mars, Saturn, or Jupiter. (I served as a volunteer amateur astronomer at a nearby observatory in Oakland, and can assure the reader that whatever the light was, it was not a planet, star, or satellite.) I've flown for a intra-state airline out of Modesto for 7 years and have lived in the city NE of MOD airport for 28 years; the path of the bright light didn't match that of aircraft flying from Sacramento southbound along low-altitude airways; it didn't match air traffic flying the typical arrivals into KSFO or KOAK, where the traffic crosses the Modesto VOR at 10,000' MSL and flies outbound on a WSW radial before being vectored by Bay Approach for arrivals at KSFO or KOAK; the light did not appear to be heading to MOD airport or distant KSJC; I thought that the light might be traffic heading for MOD VOR, but the heading wasn't quite correct (it would pass west of the VOR on the observed heading), so it didn't appear that it was on the Modesto arrival for KSFO or traffic bound for MOD.

Judging by its size; the speed of its approach; angle of approach and vertical relative motion, I believe that the light was descending.

The closer that the light came, the more impressed I was by its apparent size; it was yellow-orange in color, which may have been caused by smoke from fires that had burned in the vicinity of Modesto in September, but which I seriously doubt is the case as the color had not changed to any real degree in its approach to Modesto since the time when I first observed it some 9-10 minutes before. During this time, I didn't see any change in relative motion that might have indicated that an aircraft had leveled off.

When the light appeared to have more lateral relative motion, I looked very carefully for red and green navigation lights and white (wingtip) or red (tail, or fuselage) anti-collision strobe lights and observed none [I can almost always see the anti-collision strobe lights on commercial jets at 10,000' on the Modesto arrival -- procedures dictate that arriving flights cross the MOD VOR at 10,000' and in clear weather, I can usually detect the red, green, and white position lights of traffic overhead, though not the color with the jet being at that altitude (my vision is 20/10 or better in both eyes)].

As neither my wife (also a pilot) or I could not see any position (navigation) lights, after removing the earbuds of my cellphone's hands-free device from my ears, I listened for powerplant noise and could not detect any sound of a reciprocating engine propellor-driven aircraft, no jet engine powerplant(s); nor could I hear the blade noise from a helicopter (our home is less than 3 nautical miles E of a hospital that has EMS helicopter service, or, that of the helicopter that serves another hospital approximately 4 miles WSW of us). Puzzled by the size of the light (at this point, much larger than any I've seen on private civil, commercial, and military aircraft); and the lack of both navigation lights and powerplant noise, I ducked into the backseat of our car to pull my professional Canon EOS 5D Mark III DSLR camera from its bag, turned the camera on, removed the lens cover (about 7-8 seconds at most), only to find that no aircraft or lights were visible whatsoever. Usua! lly, if police or hospital helicopters are flying away from me, I can see at least one position position and two or more strobe anti-collision lights of aircraft that have over-flown my zenith -- and usually, there is just enough dust or haze in the air that a landing light will display an apparent "beam" down to the ground which can be seen from all over the city. (The street that our restaurant is on is Oakdale Road, which points directly at the midfield of the MOD airport to the south of us: any aircraft landing at Modesto airport should havqe clearly been visible for several minutes more.) I scanned the sky east through northwest several times and could find absolutely no lights in the sky except those heading to or away from the MOD VOR at an altitude of approximately 10,000' MSL; the strobe lights of commercial jets on Jet-One ("J-1") at high altitude heading southbound; or transiting the skies far to the far south, apparently jet traffic heading into KSJC. No lights could be seen flying left- or right-traffic in the traffic pattern for landing at MOD airport or going in to either of the two local hospitals. The light had apparently and simply disappeared.

Any aircraft going into MOD or the two hospitals should have been visible another 2-4 minutes if landing at the airport or 1-2 minutes if landing at one of the two hospitals. Even looking through my camera's zoom lens, I should have been able to see at least some of the usual lights aircraft display, but saw nothing.

Saw a yellow orange circular object, not too far up in the sky, and it began to streak downward like a falling star or meteor. My first thought was that it was really close to the ground, if it doesn't burn out before it hits, but it was not moving fast like a falling star, it slowed its descent and took the shape of a diamond fireball.

It was sparkling like a Fourth of July sparkler. Light yellow, orange and white in color. It was coming towards me and was very bright and close and then lowered over a backyard of a neighboring yard a few houses down from my backyard and houvered there for what seemed like forever. I was scared thinking it might be a hobby drone with lights and camera looking in people's back yards.

I finally decided to go in and grab my phone so I could film it, and when I came back out, I could only see a tiny red light moving slowly across the sky away from my neighborhood, but I was only gone maybe 6 seconds and it was fairly small and far away, by then. That's what I was afraid of leaving, because I wanted to see if it would disappear or take off fast or slow and I missed it. It was very close and I couldn't hear any sound at all.

I was up early on my computer doing email. No inside room lights were on just my monitor, so the room was dark. My monitor is 2 feet next to right of my window. My room is on the second level of my home.

A bright blue light caught my eye at a 45 degree angle to my view of my monitor.

I turned to observe the light and saw a triangle shaped light, very bright and very large moving from west to east.

The trajectory was downward a few degrees and about 14 degrees off the horizon. It moved fast but not to fast not to make out the shape.

I didn't observe any streaks like you see from a meteor. No blinking lights, just a very light blue bright object moving fast through the sky.

Circles of light in the clouds.

Tonight at approximately 6:50 p.m., I saw strange circle like shapes appearing in the clouds. The circles were made of dots rather than a solid line. They kept transforming into different circle like shapes, looking almost deformed. They would disappear for a minute or so and then return again.

I tried recording what I saw with my cellular phone but I retrieved nothing but very poor quality.

I am wondering if this is some sort of extraterrestrial thing or something else. Mind you, that it had been raining tonight but at the time of the sighting, it was sprinkling.

Approximate date of sighting 10/29 or 10/30, approximate time 9-10 pm.

I was outside in my backyard briefly letting the dog out, and looked up at the night sky, as I frequently do on a clear night. Within my peripheral vision, I caught a rather bright flash (approximate astronomical magnitude -5) of white light of less than 1 second duration. I would estimate the size of the light to be slightly larger than the planet Venus, and was noted at the straight overhead position, 90 degrees above the horizon. This white blinking light reoccured several times, at an interval of ~10-15 seconds, and for a total duration of less than 1 minute. It then abruptly stopped. The blinking light remained in the exact same position throughout that time. My impression is that it had an altitude of at least 20,000 feet, but possibly greater. No associated object/fuselage could be observed. I would say that it had a very similar appearance to a bright, blinking white beacon light that one would observe atop a radio transmitter tower. It was definitely not an aircraft navigational light.

I am an experienced observer of the night sky. I am familiar with the commercial aircraft on their approach pattern to SFO (that path is due south of my location), and all the visible planets and 1st magnitude stars. This was also not the ISS, a satellite, meteor, nor an iridium flare.

Several glowing red orbs seen flying overhead from the west to the east the night of July 4th in Modesto, California.

I live in Modesto, California. At about 9:30 p.m. July 4th, 2013 myself and six other people witnessed glowing orbs flying overhead from west to east. There were six groups of them flying by that I witnessed.

The first group were three orbs, glowing red. They seemed to flicker. There was no sound. They looked pretty low, I would guess maybe only a few hundred feet above. They were moving fast, way faster than the 10 mile an hour winds the weather report says for our area. As they moved closer to the east they seemed to fade but you could still make them out, we watched until they went too far to make out with the naked eye.

The second group was another three orbs. The third group was three orbs as well. The fourth group was two orbs. The fifth group was two orbs. The sixth and final was a single orb.

These all followed the same path, from west to east. They all moved about the same speed, although in the first group, one was moving out ahead of the others at a faster speed.

We are all dumbfounded as to what this could have been. There was no sound. They were moving very fast. This event lasted about 15-20 minutes. I have witnessed lots of balloons, lanterns, remote planes, toy rockets, flares, fireworks, etc. and I can definitely state that this was not that. The only thing that might even remotely explain this would be some type of lantern, like the Chinese floating lanterns. But that doesn’t explain the speed at which they moved or the exact path they took across the sky. I can definitely say that this is the most eventful 4th of July I have ever had!

3 red lights in triangle shape change shape and fade away

At 12:04 am I was standing on my balcony facing North, listening to the New Years celebrations. I noticed in the distance three red lights. I initially assumed they were from fireworks or a nearby cell phone tower.

The lights were in a triangular shape, but appeared to be rotating counter-clockwise and backwards. The rotation made the triangle change its shape. The lights moved in a very fluid way. They were bright but at the same time appeared dim enough to possibly look like nearby stars.

At 12:06 am two of the three lights faded away. The last light remained until 12:07 until it also faded away.

I noticed a light moving from the East or SE. It was red-orange and flickering. It seemed to me more like a flame than steady flashing lights of a plane. It also seemed higher than a plane.

The velocity seemed steady like a satellite but I cannot explain the flickering flame-like light.

I could still see the object dimly as grey or dark silver until it disappeared behind trees.

I walked outside into my street to grab something from car and looked into the sky i saw a huge orange fireball looking thing moving back and forth somewhat fast it would stop and hover until it dimmed. about 2 seconds later a second one appeared and hovered near where the old one dissengrated into the darkness this one continued with the same actions and dissapeared fairly slower then the first. At this time my neighbors had been pulling up and asked if we figured out what they were and stated there was a line of over 20 of them. this was not seen by me or my aquantences but by my neighbor and his teenage daughter.

high speed light over central valley

I walked out to my patio looked up to the north west to see a light moving at a very high rate of speed (faster than a normal air craft) to the east. I watched it for 30 seconds then went to get my iPhone hoping could record it. about 15 seconds to get it. Too dark for camera. I continued to watch it for another 20 seconds before it was out of site in the north east sky. I have seen the space shuttle on approach to Florida from California in the sky and it was moving faster than it. but the object may have been at a lower altitude than the shuttle giving that appearance. but to cover the view i have from my patio of the sky in just over a minute is fast. the object speed against the stars was less 4 seconds from one to the next. using the stars to base the rate of speed it was traveling.

Fiery Orb in night sky, no tail, no sound, seemed to burn out, and looked like a oval disk.

Me and my fiance went out to have a smoke around 12:20am on August 2nd of 2012, and just as I walked outside I looked up into the sky. I spotted this weird thing, and quickly pointed it out to my fiance because I thought my eyes were playing tricks. But no, he saw it too. It was this, almost orb of fire hovering across the sky.

My fiance almost thought it looked like someone had shot a flare up into the sky, but it just flew in a straight line, no trail behind it. It was going about as fast as a plane does when you see them in the sky, but it was a lot closer than a plane. Almost maybe as high up as a 80 story building. I'm just guesstimating here. But it was moving at a decent speed, but slow enough to follow for a few minutes.

Both me and my fiance caught it on our camera phones. My camera wasn't to good on the quality, but I'm still going to try and upload it somewhere. The orb was like a fire color, a little orange, some red, and a little white at the edge. The camera didn't pick it up that way though. Me and him followed it for as long as possible, which about a few minutes, before the flame look went away and all we were able to see was a dark grey disk fade behind the tree's. There was no sound to the strange thing, not like a plane would give off, no crash sound later on from like a meteor, no tail on the thing trailing behind it, just a fiery orb floating across the sky.

I had posted the story on my Facebook, onto my paranormal web site, to see if anyone could help to identify it. And then someone sent me a link to this site. I noticed some others were having similar experiences as us. All I know is when the craft disappeared, I had the strangest gut feeling that we were not meant to witness that.

I saw a circle of white clusters of light and radiating spikes of light spreading out from the center.

Sunday, 01-15-2012 Modesto, CA 95350 I stepped outside taking some fresh air around 1800 hours, and looking off to my west-southwest was an object, not moving, but flashing occasionally with a white, blue-white, greenish flash of light around the object. It looked to me like an electrical discharge of some kind.

I then looked around the sky to see if there where any other stars or lights from aircraft.

Looking directly up, I saw what appeared to me as the twin of the object to my west. The object had radiating spikes of light like a corona, but the “spikes of light” did not move.

I called my friend and ask her if see could see anything in the night sky that seemed strange. She saw the same thing I was witnessing, so I went to get an old SLR with a telephoto lens and a doubler to see if we could make out any more detail. With magnification, the object seemed to have a rectangle in the center of a circle with smaller rectangles on each side of the larger rectangle in the middle.

I didn’t get any pictures as the old camera with the long lenses had no film in it.

After watching these objects for about 15 minutes, I went next door to see if my neighbor had seen them,or take him outside to see if he saw what we saw. He said he saw the same objects the night sky the night before in the same spots in the sky.

From my best guess these objects must have been very large.

The time right now is 1915 hours, 12-15-2012,and the object that was in the west is gone, and the object directly overhead has moved a few degrees closer toward to west and very visible even through an overcast sky.

Very bright diamond shaped flying object that got dimmer and faded away.

I had just reached home after going to the dog park. I opened the door that leads to the backyard to let my dog out, and stepped out too. It was dark and i looked up at the sky, i saw a very very very very very bright diamond shaped flying object in the sky, I thought it was an airplane but then i realized it wasn't blinking and it was way too bright and oddly shaped to be one. I rubbed my eyes and closed each eye to see if it was still there after. It wasn't exactly flying in a straight line. It was flying in a slightly curved u shape.

And then as it got closer to a star in the sky it started fading away till it disappeared. I had called my mum during this but as usual she took her own sweet time to come outside, but she did stop me from stepping backward into the pool. She unfortunately missed what i saw and instead thought i was looking up into my bedroom window .

A bright white light that looked like an asterisk flew high in the sky in an arc, then dimmed to a red dot before disappearing.

My boyfriend and I were out smoking a cigarette and looking at the stars to pass the time. I noticed something that looked like it could have been a star or a planet begin to move slowly across the sky. I pointed it out to him and we watched it slowly move in a strange arc across the sky. It was a brilliant white light that was so bright, it had a starburst effect, making it look like an asterisk. It moved well across the sky for no longer than five minutes. Suddenly, the light dimmed quickly to a tiny red dot, and then it disappeared.

I am a college student, my boyfriend is a labor worker, and we have an infant. We've never seen anything like this before. We could see planes in the sky that night - they were much, much lower than this light. As I said previously, it seemed like an extremely bright star or perhaps a planet until I noticed it was moving.

UFO making weird descent at a weird angle I've never seen before and I've seen all kinds of craft overhead for 30+ years, military/non.

Hi, I am not a big UFO type person who believes in UFO's.

I was laying out in my backyard, just a few minutes ago. I was staring at the clouds and watching a few sets join together over a 30 minute period. It's windy here.

All of a sudden, a bright white, thin object appears between them, descending at an angle I've never seen above me in these skies and I've been here for 30+ years.

There is an airplaine route above since I was a kid, this plane was NOT on the same flight pattern and it was diving in such a weird angle, I HONESTLY thought it was a plane "going down" or a space shuttle craft descending at a weird long angle.

Next thing I knew, it disappeared COMPLETLY after it went behind A SMALL SET OF CLOUDS.

I backed up enough feet to make sure the craft made it out of the other side of the cloud. I waited, & waited, & waited. It was gone.

I could probably draw it, and the clouds, because I have a photographic memory which my relatives and friends can back up.

This is NOT like me to write about UFO's. But, I saw one. Not saying it was "Alien," but it was the defined term UFO.

Disc moving westerly in Modesto CA.

Disc-shaped UFO in sky beneath clouds. It had multiple lights in a row around the edge of the disc that were pinkish-blue in colour. The lights did not blink nor flicker. It seemed to move in a westerly direction, although it had disappeared in a blink of an eye (literally) and seemed to have reappeared just as quickly, moving in the same westerly direction.

I proceeded to turn north going home and lost sight of it shortly after that.

Wondering if anyone else saw it too...?

I was driving home from manteca heading southbound towards modesto, doing about 65 mph. i saw a bright greenish light pretty far up (can say how far becuase im not exactly sure what its true size was) moving amazingly fast in a north to south direction. i saw it streak from the top of my windshield and disapear in about 2 seconds. this is the second time ive seen it in the last 30 days. last time i saw it it did pretty much the same thing. After 2 sec it simply dissapeared.

Just to respond to the other modesto blue, purple and or white objects in the sky. I witnessed them for 15 mi, followed them until I found a park on bangs rd across from the hobby store. They are remote controlled aircraft with lights on them. I almost had a heart attack when I was right under them until I realized it was 2 truck loads of people just enjoying a hobby. They fly them there and I also see them in ripon ca off jacktone in the soccer field by the gigantic water tower with the soccer ball print painted on the top. It's kinda a bummer, I know. Sorry.

Oval object advancing towards me

I was about to go to sleep early(I do this once a week) and i got on my bed and laid there because my body gets hot.I always stare at the moon for a minute and wonder about things.I saw a weird figure that was nearly camoflagued with the dark sky though emitted a light blue light on the other side of it.It had an oval outline and i saw it getting bigger.I assumed my eyes were adjusting on it but actually did a few seconds later when i notice it was getting closer.I sometimes see planes flying over the sky but they always have a regular red flashing light on them.

I live in a house with a large backyard and porch.I immediately got up and get my camera and go outside since it was comming closer and closer i could get a good snapshot of it.I took about 5 shots of it until my camera started having electrical spark sounds and suddenly died.My neighbor next door to the right had a dog and it was barking fiercly at the object and i heard my neighbor come out to his backyard.I told him a strange object was in the sky.We watched it slowly advance towards us until my neighbor's dog gave a final large bark at it and the sky sorta opened up and the object went in and disappeared in a flash of green glow.

Precisley @ 18:00 hr. Pacific Time my daughter requested, that I follow her outside, to see a bright Neon Blue object in the sky, which was hovering, began to glow, then completely dissappeared in front of our eyes. Out of no where it would begin again to glow very bright and hover to the North West of Pelendale Ave, Modesto Ca.

Blue UFO in North Modesto, CA.

I was driving down north on a busy street when I saw a bright blue object gently moving side to side. I pulled over into a parking lot and took several pics with my cell phone camera. It would get brighter then dim sometimes to nothing. It would come back and gently sway side to side. Then it headed north and I followed it.

It stopped about mile up the road and I pulled over again. It just hovered below the clouds and genlty swayed. After several more minutes I watched vanish into thin air.

A diamond shapped object dimly lit and moving silent through the night sky

(I am submitting this report that was sent to me by a married couple in my area - I did not see the ufo myself) ((name and e-address deleted))

Report from husband: Right after we saw this thing, my wife came in the house and started typing about our experience. That's when the big jet flew over, and I ran out of the house to look at it.

When I came back in, I sat down with my wife and we worked together to describe what happened. We kept talking to each other about the details, trying to explain what we saw, and we couldn't explain it, only talk about it.

Report from wife: First of all, let me preface this by saying I never thought I'd be saying or seeing anything like this, but I did, along with my husband, and we feel we should tell someone who won't think we've gone off the deep end! LOL

You may share our story if you want to, but we would strongly ask to remain anonymous. We could accurately be portrayed as a middle-aged (ugh! LOL) married couple in Modesto. My husband is a professional whose name is recognizable to those in his field, and I hope you understand and respect our need to remain anonymous to anyone other than yourself.

That being said, here's what happened: (pasted here from what I wrote directly after seeing whatever it was we saw. My husband and I "compared notes" as I typed, and are in agreement with everything detailed in the following account.) Jan 13, 2010 approx. 11:20 pm PST, in Modesto, CA, my husband and I were in our backyard to take the dog out for the night. The sky was very clear, and we were looking at the stars while waiting for the dog to "go potty." My husband suddenly said, "Look! What IS that?" and pointed up, towards the NW sky, but somewhat overhead.

There was something flying very steadily, at a moderate speed - hard to say exactly how fast, not knowing how high the object really was, or how large it may have been, given unknown altitude. But, we had the impression it was somewhat low-flying, and fairly large in size.

It was completely silent.

So much so, it was almost dream-like in a way. It just didn’t “compute” that something could be doing that and not make a sound.

It was definitely not a balloon, moving too evenly and directly. No "wobble" or any variance in its trajectory or speed - very smooth, perfectly straight line, perfectly consistent speed. It flew directly over us on its path. I have no doubt whatsoever it was moving of its own power. And this is hard to explain, but it was as if it was maintaining its level, speed and smoothness with no effort - as if gravity, air resistance or any of our conventional laws of physics were not an issue, if that makes any sense.

There were no definite lights, however the entire object was dimly luminous. It was certainly the source of the light itself, it was not a reflection or a beam of light. Nor did it project any illumination or beam of light. It just was kind of phosphorescent. There were no visible markings at all. It was not really bright, but sort of similar to how a light looks when turned low on a dimmer switch, or even less. It didn't have finely exact definite edges - it was dim enough to appear somewhat diffuse, though the shape was completely discernable, and incomparable to anything known. And it was definitely a solid object.

The shape is difficult to describe - somewhat diamond gem shaped, but more rounded, sort of like a horseshoe crab shape without the tail. We both had the impression we were looking at the bottom of the object without being able to see the sides. The same perspective one would have if they held a plate or bowl overhead and could only see the bottom.

The object continued on an absolutely straight path, traveling SE, and eventually we lost sight of it, after about 30 or 40 seconds from initially sighting it.

What's strange, now that I consider it, is that it did not change in dimension, in other words, as it got further away, it didn't necessarily get commensurately smaller as one would expect from normal perspective, yet we both perceived it getting further away. Very hard to explain. But, it was as if it finally went out of sight more as a result of not being able to see its luminosity from that distance anymore, as opposed to it getting smaller and smaller.

Oddly, I feel as if its shape did not change commensurately either, the further away it got, it did not appear to become more elliptical, as one would expect something of that shape to do in normal circumstances. Nor did we perceive seeing “sides” or a “top” to it as one may expect. Yet, somehow, we knew it was not paper-thin, we knew we were seeing the bottom of an object of undeterminable overall multiple dimensions. Very, very difficult to explain adequately.

Although my husband kept asking me, “What is it?” and I kept answering, “I don’t know!” we were both calm during the "event" - no feeling of fear or panic, more so a feeling of wondering or awe. My husband felt it was a feeling of excitement, I felt strangely calm, but in wonderment. It is only now, after the fact, that we are somewhat agitated, a little fearful I guess, and somewhat bewildered. Like our logical minds are seeking an explanation.

Something else odd – an estimated 8 to 10 minutes after our experience, a huge jet, definitely not a commercial passenger jet, flew over really low and fast, and was very, very loud. We NEVER have anything like this in our area – only small planes, little commuter jets upon occasion, or commercial jets flying really high. This thing sounded like a rocket or fighter jet, and was flying really low. We had just come in the house, and upon hearing how loud this jet was, my husband ran back outside to see it. He said that it went south, and then abruptly circled easterly, and then turned SE, and continued in the very direction we saw the object fly. We just thought that was weird, especially considering what we had just seen.

So – that’s the story! As fantastic as it sounds, I know what we saw, and have absolutely no idea what it was, and absolutely no doubt it was NOT anything conventional possibilities can explain. It was like nothing I’ve ever seen in my life.

I saw 3 objects in the sky, 2 glowing neon blue tubes (from my vantage point) and one white light with a red light on it flying around again. I captured them on digital video.

Through the binoculars the glowing blue lights looked like cylinders and the smaller white light looked liked a little flying thing with a red light on it. I really could not make out the shape. They were a little farther away to the east than they were the other nights I saw them. From the posts I have read, these craft are hanging around for many months. I will try to get better video if they come back again.

Looked out second story window to see blue light hovering in one spot in the sky to the east. Another smaller white light started moving in un-airplane like manner down and around the blue light. I saw it several nights in a row. The last night I saw it the blue light headed toward the north and the white light zig-zagged around then went down out of site. Other airplanes went by it. I have not seen a blue light like that in the sky before. Or a white erratic light either. Really cool.

3 unidentified aircraft over Modesto, CA

August 27, 2009 9:00pm PCT I was riding my bike tonight and observed what appeared to be two aircraft of some kind at about 1000 ft. above our neighborhood. There were about 10 people in the street watching.

The highest craft had two bright white lights on it, and the craft appeared to be hovering, then moving a few feet, and then hovering again.

Beneath this craft was a second craft that had two very bright neon-blue lights. It made wide circles about 100 feet under the other craft.

Both craft made small changes in altitude and direction, but generally stayed in the area above our neighborhood for about 15-20 minutes or so.

A third craft (with blinking red and white lights on it) started to close on the higher craft, and this one looked more like a conventional aircraft.

At one point it flew between the two craft (below the higher one and above the lower one). At that point the lower one (with the bright neon-blue lights on it) began flying in a fast semi-vertical circular pattern.

The third craft continued on, and eventually the higher-flying craft began to fly away in a northwestern direction.

I ran to my house and got my camera, but by then they were all gone. I checked, and no else had a camera to take any photos.

I called the Modesto Police Dept. to see if anyone else had reported seeing the lights. I was told that someone else had called in, but no record was made of the call. Nor were they interested in making one of my call.

Two crafts spotted over Westfield shopping cntr. Modesto

2 crafts 1 with bright lights across could be cigar or saucer shaped. Other was cigar shaped deep bright neon blue glowing. It would glow and then fade out and come back. The other one hovered up and down quit a bit and side to side like having engine trouble. The blue cigar one stayed close as if to make sure the other was ok. A police or military white I think with markings plain stayed close by flying between them. Then they faded out. The hight I would say would be about 15 to 20 stories up in the sky.

Bright light in Modesto, CA sky.

Modesto, CA Sunday April 19, 2009 Approx. 10:30 PM I reside on the Eastern portion of the city and I observed a stationary bright light in the night sky to the WSW. The light appeared to be shifting colors slightly from white light to very slow flashes of very faint red. It was located somewhat low on the horizon at about a 30-35 degree angle. It was not a hovering helicopter, as I heard no noise and it was completely stationary, with no bobbing or shifting of its position whatsoever. I have never seen a light like this at that specific location.

I observed this object for a period of 15 minutes or so. It did not move its position in the sky the entire viewing, I thought it was one of the observable planets, but did not know which one. It certainly looked like a planet. Then suddenly it simply vanished. There was a tree off to the right of my immediate visual area that I was marking its location by, so it was not a matter of losing sight amongst the stars in the sky. It was suddenly not where it was upon my earlier observations. A very strange sighting and I cannot explain it.

Slowly pulsing red light moving slowly in a south east direction over Modesto, Ca.

I was driving home from work, south on highway 99 from Ripon, Ca. In the south east direction (30 Deg above the horizon) I noticed a red light, pulsing very slowly. At first I thought it was a tower, but then I realized it was slowly moving.

There were no other lights on the object other than the pulsing red. It seemed to be moving further south. I continued to watch it for about 2 minutes, then it was gone. It didn't just fade out, one moment it was there, then it was gone.

I'm a former Navy Aviation Technician and a fan of aviation in general. I know what to look for when describing planes, helos, and jets. This object looked so foreign and out of place to me. I called my 13 year old son to look in that direction and he found it. He stated, in a very excited voice that it was "buzzing around". I, however, did not witness this. After a few minutes, he lost sight of it as well.

10-12 white/shiny objects in changing formations over Modesto, CA

My wife, step-son and I were working in the backyard when I began to watch a helicopter fly from east to west just north of our location. As the helicopter flew past I noticed what I thought was a large swept-wing aircraft flying south to north. It was much further away than the helo, at a much higher altitude. It was also moving south to north. As I began to concentrate on it, it became clear it was not a single aircraft. It was a formation of maybe ten to twelve white or shiny objects. The edges of the objects were not clearly defined,but appeared to be round or oval in shape.

As the formation moved to the north it began to change shapes. The objects would form a line and then transition to a circular formation and back to a v-type formation. I thought maybe it was a flock of birds, but based on the perceived distance from my location(maybe one mile), they were moving too fast. The formation began to move in slightly different directions, even stopping at one point. The changes of direction were not drastic, but certainly enough for me to notice. The objects moved in a very "mechanical" fashion in that the movements were smooth yet deliberate (if that makes sense).

Weather conditions were clear and sunny except for some faint remnants of morning fog. I eventually lost sight of the formation in a low-lying cloud north of my home. I tried to point out the formation to my wife, but she could not see it. My sixteen year old step-son saw it and referred to it as a "silver line", but he did not say anything until I mentioned it.

I am a nearly twelve year law enforcement officer and I've seen some strange things over the years, but nothing that struck me like this.

Triangle shaped object speeding over town at night.

Equilateral triangular shaped object, approx. 700-1000 ft altitude moving south/southwest at approx. 200-500 mph in sky above central Modesto. 'Wing' span approx. 20 ft. About 5 to 8 dim white lights along triangle shape edge, one on each corner and at least one light per side of shape. No colored lights as many planes have. Not blinking, flashing or beaming. Trees lining the street ended any further observation.

Dark, starry night, seen just outside home while having a smoke break. Closest man-made object would be a stealth bomber, but had the shape of a stealth fighter, albeit much bigger. I've seen an actual stealth in flight before. After observation, I thought it might have been flock of birds moving south for the winter, but speed was too great, and they were dim lights, not reflections of light from the ground. Object made no sound at all. It was no natural phenomenon, smoke, balloon or known man-made aircraft in my opinion. Not a satellite or missile. Local airport assumed not in service. Moon was out but in another part of the sky, also visible. Object flew in straight path, did not hover or change course or altitude.

I was not under any influence or intoxication at time of sighting.

Low level Triangular shaped aircraft with many red and white flashing lights

I just went for a bike ride this evening, and at about 9:15 pm I heard the hum of what sounded like maybe an aircraft overhead.

I looked up, and at about 1000 feet saw what appeared to be a triangular shaped aircraft with red and white blinking lights down both sides (where the wings would be), and across the back (where the tail wing would be). There was also a high beam light on the front, and I could see it's beam across the sky for some distance.

My first thought was that it was a plane landing at the local airport, but I have seen a lot of such planes over the past 40 plus years, and this craft looked very different.

My next thought was that it looked more like a stealth bomber. I watched it as I was riding my bike, and since it was going in the opposite direction as me I made a quick little U-turn (maybe 2-3 seconds). When I looked back up it was gone. The sky was very clear, and I could see the stars in the sky, but the craft was gone that fast.

I called the local PD to see if anyone had reported see anything like I saw, they said no. I tried to call the control tower at our local airport, but they close at 9:00 pm, so no aircraft would have been landing there at the time anyway.

This was not the sighting of some fuzzy object, or distant light. This was an aircraft that I could clearly see the outline of by the many blinking lights along its sides (6-8), and back (3-4), and hear the hum of it’s engines.

This bright colorful light was spinning it seemed like far away in the north east sky. It first looked to be a plane, or maybe a satelite, but it was stationary for at least 15 minutes, but through the binoculars it looked like it was spinning. It also looked like it may have been jumping around a bit. It was emitting red and blue and white lights. After a while it slowly started to move to the right, and then up. I have seen the same object once before about 8 months ago. Very strange.

object in broad daylight staying in one spot in the sky, was there for about 5 minutes then it went away.

We were sitting on the grass at La Loma park in Modesto having a burger when I looked up and noticed a small metalic like object in the sky. It did not move for about 5 minutes. It seem to be very high up and in broad daylight it just stayed there. I asked all around me if they could see it and they did, we took a few pictures of it but they did not come out too well since it was so high up. it was almost directly above us. Though it did not move at all it did just disapear right in front of our eyes. Have no Idea what this was.

At 4:00 Am I awoke looking at the sky in the east and noticed a bright star. The star started to slowly move to the right turn off it's lights then light up again a few minutes later and move back.

At one point it really glowed then slowly moved back like it was hovering. Then the lights went out and I didn't see it anymore. This went on for an hour.

I called my astronomy teacher, the Modesto airport, Fresno airport, and the police department and no one could tell me what it was.

Black helicopter with very bright pulsating light.

We were driving on Route 132 from Waterford towards Modesto at sunset. For approx. 5 mins we observed a very bright light at first constant but then it began to pulsate regularly. The intensity was approx. 3 times that of Venus at it's brightest. As we came closer to it it appeared to be a black helicopter and stopped pulsating. The reason we are reporting this is that it seemed extremely odd that a helicopter would have such a blinding white pulsating light on it. Wether it was something strange or not will never be known but we report it in case there were any other observations or anomolous activity in the area that night.

Triangular shaped, low altitude, white, solid lights were sporadically moving in the night sky in complete silence, lasted 40 sec

On September 2, 2007 at approximately 8:45 pm, about 130 miles south of Sacramento my parents, wife and I were driving north on the Interstate 5 (I5).

Suddenly, on the right hand side, about ¾ mile away from us we spotted low altitude, whitish, solid color dots shaped like a triangular. Each light seemed approximately as big as 10 stars put together. If I took a quarter and stretched my hand toward the lights, I would cover them with the quarter. The lights were hanging in the air for a few seconds, and then with a fraction of a second they jumped over the freeway (approximately one mile) and started rapidly approaching as. As they moved, we saw that they changed colors (I saw one white color changed to red; however, we could not agree the exact colors). Then, they froze in the air for a few seconds and jumped back where they came from. Then the lights started slowly twisting around one light and formed a triangle that looked like a starched V (if you connect the dots, it would look like a long arch). Then the lights flipped over and started rapidly moving away to the fields. The altitude was so low, that they would hide behind the trees a few times. Finally, the lights faded away.

The whole scene lasted for about 40 seconds. The night was clear (we observed lots of stars). There was no sound (except the sounds of highway). It was no hallucination, because we all described the scene in almost the same words (I talked to each family member privately after we came back home). Also, I looked this place up in the map and I found out there was so called Crow Landing Field not far from where it happened. Two weeks later I called the Modesto County Police Department and local newspaper, but there were no reports about such thing.

Multiple Spheres dancing in the sky over Modesto, California

I have always been a UFO skeptic, yet, at the same time,all of my life I have always wanted to see something for myself in order to beleive. Today, I finally realized that what I have always wanted to beleive is actually true. My experience is plain and simple. I was visiting my sister in Modesto, California. My neices kept bugging me to take them out to the back yard where they have a swing set. As I walked out, I saw to jets going by to the Northwest skies above the city. I normally dont stop and stare at passing planes or jets, but this time I did. As I saw these to jets criss cross each other at different altitudes of course, I stared at the contrails they left behind, when suddenly, to my amazement and out of nowhere, in the vicinity of approximately where these jets were going by, I focused my vision as best i could to this area of the sky because I noticed something strange. At first, I thought it may have been some high flying birds but to my incredible amazement, I stared and focused my eyes as much as I could and clearly what my eyes saw was without mistake 5 spherical objects doing some kind of what I will call a dance in the sky. These objects seemed grey in color and at times seemed to have a metalic shine to them. They moved in a strange pattern, one in which I don have the words to explain. As I stared at the objects, without removing my eyes off of them, I yelled at my neice to call my sister, at the time, my sister had a call and was not able to get to where I was on time. By the time she did step out to see what I was yelling about, just as suddenly as these spheres(for lack of better terms) appeared, they dissappeared from the sky. I dont know what else to say or to write, but now, finally, I can relate to the thousands of people who see strange things in the sky, yet feel so alone with their experience, that they rather just keep it to themselves and go on with life as if nothing happened. I stand before my God, who is my only witness of what I experience! d today, that what i have written here is the truth. I dont know whats going on, or why, but something is going on in the skies above us. We need to pay more attention to the sky, thats a lesson I learned today. Couldn't believe what I was seeing!

I was in my back yard meditating soaking up the sun, then I started to skim my pool. I looked at some high clouds to the northwest and noticed and odd shape to them I stared at it for a few seconds then all of a sudden this dot appeared out of the clouds headed towards the southeast. As it flew over it had a traingular wing shape with soft, round edges and a hump in the front, greyish blue in color, no lights and completely silent. It went from the northwest to the southwest in a matter of seconds and did not leave a jet trail. Probably at an altitude of 10,000 feet.

Strange Bright Green Light moving through sky near Modesto CA at 2:25 am... visible from I-5 on the left horizon. Very nearby

My fiance and I were returning to Salem, OR. from a vacation we took in Los Angeles, CA.

Driving N. on Interstate 5 we neared Modesto at approximately 2:25 am and it was very cloudy and had just got done raining. My fiance was sleeping on the passengers side when a neon green light shot from the clouds nearly straight down on the left and fell behind the hills. It was about the size of a silver dollar from my perspective. It traveled slower than a shooting star typicaly would.

When I returned home I got onto yahoo and typed in Green Light Modesto 2: am 2005 and got a hit from this site stating this has been seen before in the same area and at the same time.

Ilive in Patterson a few miles away from Modesto and was star gazing, when I looked to the East and saw a very Bright object it out shined all the stars and plants in the sky. And it was very low, at first I thought it was a satellite, some times they do that and then then get dim again. And you can see them fly off in a stright line, but after this one went dim not more then 5 seconds later just obove where the other one was a secound light and it lite up and just as bright as the first and and you could see the other one below the bright one, both after they became dim travled North West and out of sight. they stayed low intill I couldn't see them any more, It would be hard to believe that no one else saw them.

Orange translucent sphere's traveling at high speed just below the clouds in the direction of 135 degrees SE.

Sitting outside in a chair on my pateo, I was gazing up at the sky. I was on the tail end of a cloudy sky (above me and to the East were clouds, a clear sky coming in from the west).

Directly over my head, I saw a sphere moving under the clouds horizontal to the earth. The sphere was a translucent orange. I stood up immediately wondering what it was. My first thought was that some kid must have lost a balloon, but soon realized the object was traveling far too fast and in a strait line. I later determined with a compass it was traveling in the direction of 135 degrees SE. I watched it until it faded out of site on the far side of the horizon which took only a few seconds. I could see other planes in the sky at various altitudes. All were much slower than the sphere. It must have been traveling at a very high rate of speed.

I stood out there on the patio trying to figure out what I had just witnessed and continued gazing up in the sky (this time looking for orange'ish spheres). About 5 minutes after the first sphere, a 2nd sphere was spotted. This sphere was not directing overhead, but a distance to my East (maybe a mile). It also was traveling in the same direction as the first sphere and at the same apparent speed (same color). There was no sound at all.

I continued looking up in the sky for the next hour, but no other sphere was seen. This is the first time I've ever witnessed anything like this. Wouldn't believe it if I had not seen it for myself.

These sphere's were definately "not" man-made. They were almost like an orange plasma ball of some type, except they traveled at a high rate of speed as though they had a distination.

I'm still trying to figure out what they might have been. I have no clue.

Triangle shaped object with red and blue lights hovered for sometime.

We were having a gathering outside our home Sunday May 28th, 2005 when my wife noticed an object in the sky giving off a purpleish light. I looked at it and thought it was only a star, because it wasn't moving so I didn't feel it was an airplane or other aircraft.

The object continue to hover for about another 20 minutes and by now more people were looking at it so I decided to get a pair of binoculars to take a closer.

My heart drop when I focused in and discovered that it was some sort of aircraft, but none like I had ever seen before. It was a triangle shape with a series of bright blue and red lights (really bright lights).

The object hover a few moments more before it started moving in a side to side motion while dropping lower in the sky at the same time. It finally flew out of view after we watched it for about 15 minutes. It was too far away to photograph.

I saw a bight blue fireball object that jetted in front of my car and then went high in the sky.

I was driving home on a country road and just drove over railroad tracks, when a bright blue fireball came from my left and jetted in front of my windshield and went up in the sky. As I was driving to get on the freeway this object stayed in front of me and almost seemed to be watching me. When I got on the freeway heading north I then saw 3 objects as in a formation. They were very high in the sky and I now thought maybe I was seeing stars. Very strange experience.

5 white lights arranged in chevron pattern, silent

After I (along with two others) witnessed a strange, silent "Y" or chevron-shaped aircraft two nights ago, I decided to stand out again on my back porch at around the same time of night, curious to see if it would appear again. At around 11:12 pm, I was facing westward, when I noticed 5 relatively dim white lights, arranged in a chevron pattern, over my left shoulder. It was travelling from a southeast to northwest direction. This time, I was not able to discern the outline of an associated fuselage. There were no starboard, port, or flashing "running" lights, as would be expected of a normal airplane. I estimate the altitude at around 1000 feet or less, and the speed was about what you would expect from a private jet. I would say the size was that of a B-2 bomber. However, it was completely silent. It had a straight flight path, and a constant speed.

Having lived in the area for some time, I know the normal flight patterns and altitude of commercial aircraft on approach to the Bay area, and small private aircraft from nearby smaller airports. This definitely did not fit the appearance of either.

Now that I've witnessed this a second time, I believe it must be some type of advanced military aircraft. I'm going to try to get a picture of it tomorrow night, if on the off chance it appears again.

Boomerang shaped object in central California

Sitting in the spa under a cloudless cold night. I love to watch the winter stars and the high-altitude jetliners as they move across the night sky. The stars move slowly from east to west, and here the jetliners move swiftly from east to west as they make their way to the bay area airports. My wife went to bed early so I decided to soak in the spa for awhile (one beer when I got home and a single glass of wine with dinner). Facing due south in the spa a boomerang shaped, translucent object entered my field of vision (from behind and to the right) moving from NW to SE. Lack of visual reference cues makes this thing impossible to size, but it moved like a big object and the reflection of the street and city lights glowed dimly off the curved bottom surface at a seemingly moderate height, well below the airliner traffic. It made no sound and really seemed to be more a boomerang shaped disturbance in the air rather than a visible object. Speed was impossible to judge, except to say that it took 20 to 25 seconds to traverse my field of vision. I jumped up and stood in the spa to view as much of this thing as possible while it disappeared behind the houses across the street. This is the first clear and cloudless night in central California after many days of rain. Could the Airforce be out and about with some new toys?

A bright light just above the tree line appears every 3 to 4 days in the north eastern sky. From about 1:30am to 5:00am it gets brighter (closer) when the sun comes up it dissapears. I filmed it for 10 minutes, I have incredible footage of a jelly fish like appearance (transparent) with electricity running through it. It seems as though it is breathing (expanding and contracting). It is out tonight!

Red blinking lights darting and surging high in the night sky

While on the second story balcony of my townhouse, I noticed red blinking lights very high in the western sky. They darted sideways and diagionally in a seemly random pattern; staying within the same general area of the sky. Occasionaly they would surge (sometimes two consecutive surges) extremely fast in a direction, leaving a briefly visible trail of light. When an aircraft flying north to south approached and flew past the area of the lights (but at a lower altitude),the red lights moved into the Western horizon and eventually disappeared from my vision behind a tree (at approximatley 9:30pm).
