Location details: I was facing West. The object was high in the sky to my left. It was going West to Southeast.

Looked like a single star or satellite flying overhead.

Last night I was sitting outside waiting for Starlink. It was supposed to pass over Duarte California at 9:22 pm coming from Northwest to East. At 9:12 pm, I saw an individual object coming from the West and heading slightly Southeast. As the object got closer to me, I could see a white light behind it. That light was very bright white emitting in a large fan like pattern. I know Perseid is here, but unlike a meteor, this object was moving fairly slow, and it was visible to me for a couple of minutes. This was very visible over the Los Angeles area. Surely, I can't be the only person to have seen this. I took a short video of it with my camera phone. I don't know why, but the video shows the object as blue, but it was bright white. And it doesn't really show the large fan like light that it was emitting behind it. FYI, the horizontal white line in the video is just the telephone pole wires. It looked like a comet to me. Please let me know if you determine what this was.

Two moving lights

I went out in my backyard at 6 am and looked up at the stars. The sky was black and clear, and the visibility was good, with no clouds or moon. I saw a small point of white light which I thought was a satellite almost directly overhead moving steadily north to south in a straight line. I estimated it would pass through Orion's belt, and a few seconds later it did, but it got fainter until it disappeared before reaching the stars representing Orion's feet.

A few seconds later I saw another similar light a few degrees farther north moving in roughly the same trajectory also north to south, but this one blinked on and off every 5 seconds or so - with longer intervals between blinks than a jet. It too disappeared after about 30 seconds of viewing, never having reached Orion.

Three flickering red and yellow orbs.

I went outside with my dog and observed three flickering round red and yellow objects in the sky, the objects were moving away from each other in different directions so I decided to film them, by the time I could queue up my camera phone only two objects remained and I focused on the closest while the other moved up and over my head, the object I was filming then slowly moved west from my location and then sped up quickly and diasappeared. It looked like a smashed diamond a parallagram if you will-the color of flash like a camera, during I got my cell phone it was gone.

I am replying back to the message i received from well it says do not mention any names. His initials are PD. This is real not a hoax. I described what I saw as a flash and you want more detail-ok.

As i was driving south bound on the 605 south coming from santa anita- I was probably near passing Duarte. As I was driving south bound i looked up just below my blue tint of my wind shield. I seen this glow-it looked like a flash not the speed but the color. Its shape i would say like a parallagram or like a diamond a smashed diamond- thats the closest i can say because it was bright in a sense that I could not make out the exact form. As i was looking at it I thought it to be a reflection of a commercial planes wings to the sun, but I did not see any plane after- I repeat-I did not see any plane-planes are not that fast as we see them flying from the ground. I am looking at this UFO for about 6 seconds or so then I reach for my cell phone. My cell was in my center console-so I looked down just briefly maybe 3 seconds i get it then I looked up the flash was gone so I am continuing looking for a commercial airplane- as I thought it was a reflection from the sun to its wings. No plane in sight. I called my mom and told her because i freaked out- I was gonna tell her what I was seeing and I did. Then when I happened to look up after i got my cellphone it was gone. Yes-I seen a UFO. I will never forget that. It looked like a smashed diamond the color was-well look at flash from a camera that was the color. It was still-it was not moving it was still. I cannot give an estimate in feet but like i said - I thought it might be a reflection of a commercial airline to the sun, but it was not. I seen something that dissapeared- it was gone in a matter of seconds-just when I was getting my cellphone- go figure- that was something crazy. again I am not BSing.

Two satellite-like objects both traveling towards mountains and then disappearing

One satellite-like object was traveling at a fast speed going north towards the mountains. A second identical object trailed behind going the same direction at a slightly faster speed. The second object seemed to catch up. Both lights disappeared in the night. Both were too high up to hear anything.

Light far beyond mountains flew across very fast and then takes off in a vertical direction

It looked like a star above the San Gabriel mountains. It was flying really fast. Then, it slowed down just a little bit and turned and headed straight up at an even faster speed. I then lost sight of it.

Air Force Test Missile Out West

VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. (AP) - An Air Force missile test Thursday provided a spectacular light show seen over California and much of the West, as far away as Utah and New Mexico.

The colorful contrail was seen soon after the unarmed Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile blasted off at 7:36 p.m. from an underground silo at the Vandenberg military base north of Santa Barbara.

"The smoke went up in spirals as the sun was setting and turned into an orange, amber color. It was like a flower going into bloom pretty quickly," said Simon Cox, who saw it from a restaurant terrace in Santa Barbara.

The missile traveled about 4,200 miles in about 30 minutes, striking a predetermined target at the Kwajalein Missile Range in the western chain of the Marshall Islands, the Air Force said.

Vandenberg spokeswoman Kelly Gabel said clear conditions were responsible for the spectacular light show.

"We do this two or three times a year, but because the weather was so perfect we decided to launch it early," Gabel said. As a result, people were still awake to see it, and although the sun had set, sunlight below the horizon glinted off unspent fuel particles and water droplets.

"Suddenly we're getting calls from people as far away as New Mexico who saw it and want to know what it is," Gabel said.

The mission was directed by the 576th Flight Test Squadron at Vandenberg and the 341th Space Wing and the 341st Space Wing, from Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana.

The purpose was to test launch systems and the missile's accuracy and reliability.

Two lights flickering over the san gabriel mountains. The two lights were moving east quite fast without any sound.

Two bright white lights moving east very rapidly over the san gabriel mountains. There was no sound during this event as the lights moved above and behind the mountain rigde. Very unusual since there is a very low cloud cover over the mountains. It is the strangest thing I have ever seen. Hope someone else witness this event.

I had the most vivid dreams two consecutive nights in mid-July 1992. I wonder if you have a record of a plethora of reports of abductions from the San Gabriel Valley about then.

I dreamt that my wife and I were abducted. This was by no means the typical abduction experience that you hear about nor was it by any means a typical dream.

The first night featured a dream that included a massive airlift of people being abducted while asleep. My wife and I were raised off of our beds, traveled through the house feet first to the back door, out the door then gradually into the air. We moved at a slow pace through the air. We met many others in the sky. All were floating through the air feet first dressed in pajamas. We landed in the Angeles Forest in the foothills of the San Gabriel Valley near a flying saucer. One "alien" removed here helmet. She looked orientally human. She gave us shots in arm. Then we woke up. I remembered the dream. My wife did not. But we both had sore arms where the shots were administered and there were red marks. I had fallen asleep about 4:00 a.m. and awoke at 6:30.

The experience seemed to last 20 to 30 minutes. Very clear like a single long scene from a movie with no cuts.

This was a dream but of course what is a dream? This was by no means a typical abduction experience. No bright lights. No little green men. The alien looked very human. There was no terror. There was no hypnosis required to help recall the dream. I remembered the dream as soon as I awoke. But it was not a typical dream either! Any similar reports in your archives from mid-July 1992?
