Close light turned into cluster

My family went outside to watch the ISS flyover. We didn't see the ISS at the time it was supposed to fly over, but we saw what we thought was the ISS about 1 minute after it was supposed to fly over.

What we saw was a white light flying more straight than the ISS would. It was changing from white to a feinter orange, then light red, then blue. We followed the trajectory and it lit up white again, then faded out again. This happened three times before it stayed orange/red.

We were confused that it all of a sudden stopped, we stared where it stopped and that's when we were blown away! The light had stayed red, then all of a sudden other red lights seemed to fly away from it, and other lights (red and white) appeared and flew right to it. It reminded me of moths flying around a spotlight on a dark night.

The center object changed between red, blue and orange/white. The lights going to and from it were mostly red, sometimes orange/white.

After watching it for about 10 minutes, we grabbed our green laser pointer and flashed it at the cluster briefly. It started to blink more right away, then 10 seconds later there was a streak with a green trail off to the right side of it (further away than the lights going in and out). We flashed S.O.S. with the green laser because that's all I know in Morse code. It continued to blink but nothing more than the swarm-like lights going to, from and around it.

At this point grandma came outside and I pointed to laser at it again for longer to show her where we were looking. 10 seconds later we saw a streak close to us it must have been a small meteor, again with a green trail that went south to north and we only saw a short trail on it.

We watched the main cluster for another ten or more minutes before calling it a night and going inside with the chills.

Such a crazy thing to see after just trying to watch a light fly over us from the ISS, my son (15) was so excited and talked about aliens all night since andy daughter (12) is convincing herself we just watched the ISS hit the brakes and do something with lights flying around it for 30 minutes.

The lights dimmed a lot by the end, so whatever we saw seems to be flying away from us.

The exact location from our point of view and Google sky map put the cluster horizontal and to the left of Ophiuchus, just below M14.

Still wondering what we saw, so glad my family saw it too so I don't get the "yeah right" looks!

Saw 2 solid red non blinking lights over Newport/Irvine tonight 9/23/22 at 10:59pm the lights drew together at a rapid pace the top red light turned off then on and attached itself to 2nd Red light. Both drifted down then both disappeared.
These were unlike airplanes that have 1 steady white light with a second different blinking light. These are very bright Solid Red unblinking lights.
My neighbors were out looking at the stars and said they saw it too. I said the 2 solid red lights were as bright as that star and I pointed and they said,”That’s Venus”.

Slow moving and looked like it was floating and on fire. Saw it first at roof height. saw it last at about 1000ft or higher.

I walked out to the alley to get in my car and saw something that I thought at first was a large burning ember over the garage of my moms house. It looked like it might land on it and seemed to be still on fire in some part. I thought it was about 10" to 12" and square-ish. Floating and glowing red, it drifted past my mom's house and over to the next and continued down the block. It was getting higher and higher as it went and was now moving over the tops of the houses. I started to realize it was not a burning paper ember, nor was it likely to land on and catch anybody's roof on fire. It still looked like it was on fire though and I started wondering if it was a drone on fire. I got in my car to follow it and by the time I caught up to where I could see it again, it was at least a thousand feet up.(so it clearly wasn't the small size I had thought it to be!). The last sight of it was when it's red glow flickered on and off a few times, seemingly one side of it and then the other side. Then the light went out and it was no longer visible.

The photo is nowhere close to what I could see with my eyes but was taken with my phone at half zoom because it was still just barely over the rooftops. You can see how grainy the sky looks as well. But it is clear how bright it was and it could look like it was on fire.

We saw 2 orbs turn into 3 orbs then into 4 orbs.

My wife and I were driving west bound on Warner Ave in the City of Huntington Beach. We were taking my brother to dinner that night. While approaching PCH we looked to the left and saw two red orbs coming towards us. Then the two orbs became three orbs in a triangle formation. Then a fourth orb appeared trailing the 3 red orbs. Just as soon as the fourth orb appeared they all made a right turn. About that time, we were now traveling on PCH towards the south. We couldn't follow them because there were no roads at the point of PCH to make a turn to the left. As the orbs neared the horizon they disappeared. They disappeared before passing over the horizon which would have blocked our view. I looked at the news the next day and no one mentioned any sightings!

I need to put in one disclaimer. I'm not sure if this incident occurred this day or on October 3rd, 2021, a few days later. This happened so long ago that it could have been on September 29th or October 3rd.

Spotted bubble like object off the right side of the aircraft.

This in a summery of an event, of a unexplained flying object encounter on a flight between Anchorage and Hong Kong. I was flying as a relief pilot sitting in the captains seat on a commercial cargo flight when I first spotted the object. I immediately pointed the object out to the first officer who also saw it. The Captain was in the back on his rest period.

The location of the event was on an airway, R220, between NOGAL & NIPPI intersection, 21.4NM NE of NOGAL at FL400. The coordinates were N4632.8/W15332.6. The closest land was 67.7NM off our right. This land would be the Kuril Islands SW of the Kamchatka Peninsula, Russia. The only other know air traffic were two other aircraft that were on our TCAS. They were on our route same direction of travel within 60NM ahead of us.

It was daylight as the time was 1346 local (0346 Zulu). There was a low undercast layer of clouds, some towering clouds 100+ miles in the distance, but clear at our altitude. Our ground speed was 408 knots, true airspeed 476 knots, MACH # .830, wind 252/73 and total air temperature -20 something. Our magnetic heading was 238° While I was sitting looking at the first officer in conversation, I noticed a bubble like object off the right side of the aircraft. I immediately pointed it out to the first officer. He quickly grabbed his phone and tried to take several pictures of it. Unfortunately due to bugs or dirt on the side windows, the camera focused in on the window instead of the unexplained object.

The object looked like a clear sphere or bubble. It appears to be rigged like glass or plastic, however I can’t rule out a balloon. The size is relative to the distance it was from our aircraft. This is where the first officer and I have a difference in opinion. In the window, it was the size of pencil eraser. I felt that the object was within a couple of hundred yards and was maybe the size of a car. The first officer felt that it might have been more like a couple of miles away and therefore much larger.

The strangest thing about this object was that we didn’t speed past it. We did overtake this object but slowly. We were moving over the ground at 408 knots into a nearly 70 knot headwind. If the object was a balloon, I feel we would’ve blown past it very fast. So what ever this object was, it seems it was propelled by something. There was no visible engines, exhaust or any thing else that resemble a know aircraft capable of traveling at such speed.

Needless to say, this consumer or conversation for the next several hours. When the captain returned to the flight deck, we explained our siting and continued to discuss what it could have possibly been. The Captain was a previous F-18 pilot and both the first officer and I were civilian pilots.

Fireball Orange Big Light hyper speeds into space and then government tries to seemingly cover up, multiple witnesses, huntingon beach

Near the bathrooms by the pier (left side) at Hunting Beach, facing the Beach/West, BRIGHT fireball orange light, (I have a video), cruzing almost like a plane by more gently movingly bizarre, in the video I have the light is intercepting an airline craft, it was moving very different and looking closely we can agree we are seeing a U.F.O, not sure but almost moved looking like a rocket launch. I turn off the video and a couple minute later the object shot west/south into the distance like a Star Wars space craft going into hyper speed, the lift faded quickly away and we all were in kinda of a shock. Then after VerY soon MULTIPLE, like a lot more than usual aircraft i thought were part of the government trying to search for and also mimic the sighting with stationary and bright unusually lights that were definitely not the same color or size of the object we saw and they did not once take off or turn off their lights the same way we saw. While after around ! 7:10 they government stopped mimicking and a normal amount of planes were going through then sky. Also these planes coming one after another and flying half circle on the beach. These planes were suspicious as hell.

I was in Huntington Beach just about to park my car and have lunch. I was facing west towards the sunset. I over heard a passenger airline jet cut and turn which made me just look up at the sky. no over cast just a few mid size clouds cruising by. As I excited my vehicle to get a better look at it. the ufo made a side ways move and went into a cloud and never came out of it. the cloud was moving NW and the object was traveling NE. it kind of looked like a satellite. then briefly 1 minute after a smaller object came from the same distance and appeared to be smaller, but it could have been at a higher altitude. it also went into a cloud and never came out.

Sphere like craft with very strong red light emitting from its tail sighted traveling southwest to northeast near the PCH.

I was sitting on my rooftop, smoking a cigarette in HB, Orange County, when I noticed a loud sound in the sky. The sound was different from a helicopter and when I looked at the craft it was too low to be a plane. The craft was emitting a very intense red light from its tail end.

When it passed over my head, I noticed a spear-shaped craft, but I could not see very clearly as it was dark out. The craft appeared to be white, with some dark color intertwined on the bottom of it.

I told my friend to come out and witness what I saw. When we looked at it about a minute after it had passed, we could very clearly see a very strong red light still emitting from the craft. It was traveling southwest to northeast towards LAX. But when we both looked at it again, it appeared to be hovering to the east. I noticed other aircraft in the area due to me only being an hour from LAX and was paying attention to their lights and it was nowhere near as strong as the craft that I saw.

portal in the sky opened, remained briefly, then closed

i was driving northbound on the 405 freeway in Huntington Beach, ca at 06:45 am and i saw a light in the sky and I began filming with my galaxy S7.At first I thought it was a planes headlight, then realized the light was shining downward in an upside-down cone shape. It remained shining in the sky for about 40 seconds, then slowly closed up like the aperature of a camera lens.

It wasnt until about an hour later that i reviewed the video that i had taken and realized that it wasnt a ufo. It was a portal that had opened and then closed. The video is on you tube, and is pretty crappy due to driving/filming in morning rush hour traffic, but luckily there is a enough very clear video of the the portal to get a decent understanding of what happened.

Note) Another person in Newport Beach, (a neighboring city), filmed the same event and his video was featured on a well known you tube channel that has recently had all of its videos removed and some other mysterious events occur. So 2 videos of this portal, from different angles, exist somewhere out there in the ether.

Fast-moving craft with gray lights over suburban Huntington Beach

I’d just stepped out of my friend’s house after a comedic session of Dungeons & Dragons. We’d watched TV, talked about video games, the usual for our age group. A normal Sunday night. I was the last one to leave. I didn’t expect to see something in the sky, but then again, I don’t think anyone does.

It was one of those rare cloudless nights where LA’s famous light pollution doesn’t ruin a decent view of the stars over the suburbs. I’m originally from a very small town, so I don’t take celestial beauty for granted. I looked up at the sky to admire the stars, and that’s when I saw it.

My first thought was “airplane,” but this was immediately replaced by “drone?” because it was too fast for a commercial flight, and completely silent. And then I thought that it couldn’t have been a drone, because again, it was completely silent, and the most common drones are quadcopters. This thing was in the shape of a chevron, and dark gray. It was a little larger than the moon, which was slightly farther away.

Another thing that perplexed me besides the speed were the lights. Three of them, one on each wing end and one under the middle corner, unblinking, and a dim gray. I’ve never seen gray lights in my life.

The chevron was headed southeast, when suddenly, without slowing down, it made a sharp, tight U-turn, pivoted, and disappeared before my eyes. I didn’t blink, I didn’t look away for a second, and there were no clouds for it to hide behind. It was there, and then it was gone. I don't think we have the technology to make planes turn the way this thing did.

A metero-like light with trail stopped and emitted another light, then changed course once that light departed.

A meteor-like yellow light with a blazing trail stopped, emitted another light, hovered, and changed directions once the other light departed looking more like an aircraft as it passed directly in front.

Upon closer passing it looked more like an airplane with red blinking lights, other blinking lights and possibly windows. however its flight behavior was very strange.

Estimate 1500 ft high, Very bright moving together, but not in sync with no sound. Eventually each light would fade out and disapeared from sight.

I was driving my car with my two kids and my oldest started saying he saw a shooting star or a helicopter then I finally pulled the car over and saw what he was looking at. A few seconds later it exploded and a ring of light surrounded it, it vanished but the ring became a mist of light. The circle disappeared and the light was faint in the background. Not sure what this was hoping someone could tell me what it was.

In the night sky three witnesses saw a conical beam of light with a starting point that was round and white.





My husband and I were finished shopping at Trader Joe's in Huntington Beach, CA, at 6:05 p.m. I was climbing into the passenger seat of our car and happened to look up in the dark night sky above the store. It had been a clear sky during the day, no clouds. What my husband, another lady shopper, and I saw looked like a beam of white light in the shape of a wide cone emanating from a point of origin. When I first looked the point was bright and round, but later it seemed to disappear, but the cone of light remained, there was no sound. My husband and I were saying to each other, "What is that? What is that?" Slowly the cone of light, which was originally quite wide began to diminish in light and faded away until all that was left was a very weak dusting of light. After it faded out we turned and saw a lady shopper who said, "We just shared something, but I don't know what it was." We drove home, which took about 5 minutes and I l! ooked into the sky at that spot and there was still a dusting of light, very faint.

From my backyard in Huntington Beach, CA, at about 22:00 hours, looking in the direction of about 30 degrees above east-south-east, I observed a brief flash of bright white light, almost as luminescent as a full moon, that had no trail like a meteorite would display, unless it were flying directly in my direction.

It was a very quiet and clear night but there was no sound to be heard as would be caused by an explosion. I believe it may have been a supernova because no aircraft lights had shown after the flash.

Organized unusual bright orange lights separating and reattaching at high altitudes over HB.

Observed bright orange light descent from high altitude to approx 10K to 20K feet then separate into 2 orange lights. From the 2 orange lights, 2 other lights separated and hovered for several minutes around the center light.

I could see a mass shape wobling. Then they all re-attached into one large redish orange light and ascended back into space - vanished.

This was not an air plane or meteor. It was organized, suspended and fixed in one location at times and moved around. No noise.

The other 2 witnesses were spooked by this experience.

one ufo hovering over huntington beach 20:30 (8:30pm) 11/9/2014 in the eastern sky glowing blue.

While taking out the trash tonight at 8:30pm I noticed a single blue glowing light moving in the sky. No noise. Not sure of the distance from me. Seemed to move up and down and side to side and once it appeared to move toward me.

The light went out a few times while I was watching it and then appeared again. From Springdale and Warner, it was in the Eastern sky.

I have video on my smartphone. Just uploaded to youtube "ufo over huntington beach 11/9/2014".

My roommate was at the neighborhood bar and said a couple other people saw it and videotaped it. I googled how to report ufo's and found your national .org site and figured I would post.

Two fast orbs in Huntington Beach.

The first object appeared from the south from a distance. It was glowing reddish-orange in color and circular in shape. It did not flash or omit any other lights or colors showing it was a plane or helicopter. It flew north, almost right above us, as it seemed to keep gaining altitude.

When above us, the second object came into sight, from the south once again. The color and shape was the same. It as well flew straight north, gaining altitude as it went. While watching the second object the first had vanished. After the second object had gone far enough north to where we could see the back of the object, it faded out in similar fashion to a dying light.

Both objects made absolutely no noise for how fast they seemed to be going. Both flew in a linear path leaving no residue behind. Neither of the objects diverted from the path they were taking.

My girlfriend runs into the house telling everyone to come outside. the grandpa and all of her cousins go outside and look into the night sky. Six brilliant red/orange lights forming a square were seen in the sky by all of us. They would fade as if they were going far into the distance and them come back close as if they could fly backwards and forward. They all started to fade and then from high in the sky the same colored lights started zooming incredibly fast down to the ground and in all directions.

Blue/White orb w/ spot light dances in the sky near street intersection Beach Blvd and Atlanta Ave.

I came back from work and parked my car on Atlanta Ave. As I got out of the car I saw a bright blue light much like an over-sized LED, hovering a little passed the intersection of Beach Blvd and Atlanta Ave (looked to me like it was a little South of a Walmart parking lot on Beach Blvd). The orb would dart down and shoot back up, what seemed like 200ft, in extremely fast and disoriented movements.

As it shifted positions it would change from a bright blue to an intense white. I confused it at first to be a firework like a rocket/roman candle but it left no trail and did not look pyrotechnic in anyway.

My second guess was it was a drone like a quad-copter but it moved way too fast for a propeller driven drone. It could have been military if it used tiny jets instead of propellers but it made no sound, so that rules out the possibility. As it danced in the sky it would dip below the tree line, and would remain out of sight for up to 5 seconds, till it shot back up to at least 200-300ft.

Before I lost sight of it, I saw it shoot in and out of the tree line at least 3 times before it shot a beam towards the ground. It looked like a white spot light that pointed at the ground below it and then swung it towards my direction for a split second. (I didn't like that lol) Accelerated towards the tree line again and moved West towards the ocean on a horizontal flight path till it was out of sight.

I then walked into my apartment complex to find my neighbor running out of his house looking in the direction I had previously looking in. I said, "Hey I saw a UFO! It looked like a blue white light!"

He replied, "I saw the exact same thing when i took out the trash. That's why I came out to this side.

I'm glad you saw it cause I thought I was going crazy." Wow.

Single orange orb spotted in Huntington Beach, CA.

I pulled into my drive way and noticed a single orange orb in the northern sky. I initially thought it was Mars. I got out of my car to take a closer look and noticed it was moving slowly from north to south then turn to south-west. The object was larger than typical stars and comparable to venus on a clear night. The orange orb did not have any blinking lights and did not make a sound. Either the light disappeared or went behind the clouds. The phenomenon lasted approximately 5 minutes. Land marks in my view for reference were my power lines in my back yard. This is how I know it was moving and turning. It did not make any abrupt turns or change speeds.

Five strange red lights moved silently over Orange County on 12/25/13 at around 8:40 p.m.

It was Christmas night 2013 around 8:40 p.m. My parents and I saw five strange red lights appear on the horizon from the Southeast heading Northwest. They flew in single file formation about 30-60 seconds apart. They made no sound and had no strobes or other lights that you would typically find on commercial aircraft. All five of the lights faded in a flickering manner and disappeared in the same location. They appeared to be very high in altitude and might have been climbing at the time they disappeared.

I've been watching aircraft fly over Huntington Beach at night for more than 30 years and I've never seen a set of lights like these from this location. I'm also sure they were not Chinese lanterns because they covered too much distance in a very short period of time. Their speed also appeared to be steady and it didn't appear to change.

Red glowing fireball orbs w/plane coming head on for them disappear manuevered with intelligence

I spotted them in the distance 3 LOW lights flying in perfect formation 3 large glowing orbs with 1 you could barely see out front that didn't light up but appeared to be a moving dot . 1st thought wow there are 3 stars as they approached us they would look red orange white the colors seeming to merge rather than change. I could now see they were moving low and fast and were not stars nor were they attached to anything just than from the opposite direction a low flying plane SESNA type coming low and were purposely coming head on w/ the light objects they were nearly above our heads when the second 1 (the 1 in the middle) w/ purpose got along side the 1st one they did this sort of bump into each other energy exchange I thought the plane was going to collide with them they were so close I braced for the worst grabbing my 2 sons ages 7 & 11 this was gonna crash right over our heads than into this air the they disappeared the one that did the bump the middle one! that pulled up to the first was the last to fade before he did he had a hole in the center like a donut before it disappeared my sons said they noticed us and they are spirits so says the children .

Red/White pulsating fireball, intelligently maneuvering in Huntington Beach sky.

As I was driving home turning on to my street, I noticed what looked like a pulsating, changing fireball. It would glow bright white, then change to red. It appeared to be maneuvering intelligently, and was very low in the sky.

I pulled over and filmed it for a little on my iphone, but was discouraged at the inability to zoom in on the object while filming. Perhaps enhancement of the cell phone video will help.

The object appeared North East in the sky, and appeared to be making it's way higher into the low hanging clouds.

After I parked my car I was hoping to have the people I live with come out and see the object as well. Much to my dismay it was no where to be seen.

Shortly after my sister, who was driving home at the time as well, and on a similar course, texted me saying she saw a fireball in the sky.

Extremely fast moving triangular craft with white spheres observed over Huntington Beach

Event Description: On Friday, May 3rd, 2013, at approximately 9:15 pm (0415 Zulu) I was outdoors exercising on the Huntington Beach High School track. The high school is located in Huntington Beach, California at the GPS coordinates (N 33 40.678, W 118 00.179). I had just finished my run and was sitting on the edge of the track while my friend finished her laps. There were no other people present. I was listening to my MP3 player with earbuds, but the music volume was not loud. As I was stretching from my workout, I looked up to the sky. Nearly directly above my head at about 70 degrees altitude from the southwestern horizon, I instantly focused on a triangular shaped object traveling at a very quick pace toward the northeast. I quickly ascertained that the object was a craft of some sort and not birds flying in formation because at each point of the triangle was a large white sphere. The spheres and craft traveled in perfect coordination as if it was part of one solid structure. Its altitude was low enough that I could also see defined lines on the the leading edges and also on what I would assume was the aft edge since its orientation was flying in the direction of one of the triangle's converging points.

From what I could see, I would estimate it to be a near perfect equilateral triangle. The spheres were large enough that they extended beyond the triangle's points. In other words, it appeared that they were not contained within the inside of the triangle, but perhaps attached to the points. I was not able to determine if the middle area of the triangle was solid because the color was indistinguishable from the dark sky above. The spheres did not appear to be self illuminated and there were no position marker, navigation, strobe, landing, beacon, or other lights visible. The stadium lights were not in operation around the football field. Consequently, the area where we were located in the stadium was quite dark. If it were not for the mercury lights of the parking lot at the Seacliff Shopping Center across the street to the north and the baseball fields to the south, I'm not sure I could have seen the object as clearly as I did. I felt as if any illumination I was see! ing was coming from the lights across the street. Our location was shadowed from the direct lights in the parking lot because of the bleachers. However, it seemed that the craft was low enough, yet still well above the height of the stadium that the underside of the spheres were reflecting the parking lot lights.

As noted previously, I did have my MP3 playing, but the volume was very low and I could not hear any sounds from the craft as it passed overhead. One thought that occurred to me was if it were possible that this craft were constructed of some sort of lighter-than-air balloon, perhaps three weather balloons attached to a rigid frame to hold them in perfect formation. I very quickly dismissed this theory however when the object tracked from where I was sitting, to an area to the northeast I estimate to be between 3/4 mile to just over 1 mile away. It covered this distance in under 5 seconds. Conservative calculations place it traveling somewhere between 500-800 mph. There was no perceptible wind so I would dismiss any light object simply floating in the air and carried by the current, especially at such an incredible rate of speed. I also estimate the altitude to be 700 ft. MSL or lower (calculations explained below). There were no visible clouds in the sky except for a! faint, marine haze in the northeast section of my view. As are most high school stadiums, the bleacher structures are built on both sides of the field, but there is no seating at the end-zones. There is a sizable wall and gates around the whole stadium. However, I was far enough away from the wall where I was sitting that I had a fairly unobstructed view of the horizon just to to the right of the northern bleachers. At this angle, when the craft passed overhead, I saw it briefly pass through part of a hazy cloud. It was such a thin and wispy cloud that I could see it move around the form of the craft, but not obstruct it from view completely. This was about three seconds after first viewing the object. The object continued along a straight trajectory, not descending or climbing from what I could determine. At approximately 5 seconds, the triangle had traveled far enough away that it faded from view. More than likely, it did not accelerate or actually disappear, but the fade was the result of the same marine haze and excessiv! e ambien t lighting from the commercial lighting described above.

Approximately one and a half minutes after the sighting, my friend had rounded the track to where I was sitting and I excitedly told her that I thought I had just witnessed a UFO. She quickly replied that she had seen the object as well. She began to tell me what she had witnessed. Even though we were both wanted to share details, I asked her to wait until she could write down her account, so as to try and avoid contaminating either one of our memories. At that point, I returned to where I had placed a backpack and I retrieved my cell phone. I called my father who lives in another state to tell him about the incredible sighting and see if he could assist in gathering current weather data from the Internet. My outgoing call was logged at 9:27 pm (0427 Zulu). About three minutes into the call, I looked into the sky at about the same point where I had first sighted the triangular object. Suddenly, I caught caught sight of two more objects traveling at about the same spe! ed, but on a 180 degree reverse heading from where the triangle was spotted. In effect, they appeared they were returning along the same vector (altitude, heading, and speed) as the first object, but they were shaped differently. Lacking a better way to describe them, they appeared to me to have the shape of fighter jets, but they were completely white in color and flying in such tight formation that they were almost touching each other (one slightly ahead of the other). I assumed they were either slightly smaller in size than the triangular object or higher in altitude. It was difficult to estimate, but the two of them combined were about 2/3 the size of the triangle. I would best describe them as having a defined nose section (such as a fighter jet) and then swept back, short wings with a broader tail section (where the horizontal tail section would be on a conventional plane). To be accurate, I am not quite sure about the overall silhouette as this was only one qui! ck impression and they were more difficult to see than the fir! st objec t. They most certainly did however appear to have wings of some sort and a defined nose section. I again quickly dismissed the possibility of birds or objects carried by the wind because of their speed and lack of wing motion. As with the triangle, there were no lights observed on either one of the craft and they did not appear to be illuminated, but perhaps reflecting city lights on their undersides. Unlike the triangle, I did note that they did appear to be uniformly solid in color (white) and not transparent or colored the same as the sky. The disappeared over the tops of the high school buildings to the southwest, in the direction of the ocean. Because of the time of the phone call, I estimated this sighting to be at approximately 9:30 pm with a duration of less than 4 seconds.

At the time of this second sighting, I no longer had my MP3 playing, nor did I have the earbuds in my ears. There was no perceptible sound detected from the two craft or anywhere in the sky. I pointed out the objects to my friend who was now standing about 20 feet or so away. She confirmed my description of them. I promptly ended the phone call and attempted to turn on my smartphone's video recorder. I had the recorder ready in case anything else should appear, but knowing the low-light filming capabilities of my phone, I was certain it was pointless to hope to capture such dim images on the device. Shortly after, I took a compass reading from an application on my phone and we packed up our belongings in order to quickly get to a computer where I could gather more information.

My friend's description of the first object differed slightly from mine. She first spotted the craft as she was rounding the track on the northeast side. The track is oriented lengthwise from east to west. Consequently, she looked up just at the last few seconds it was fading from view, but appears to perhaps have seen it longer than I did before it completely faded. Her perspective of apparent motion and speed were also different because it had already passed from overhead and was distancing itself when she caught sight of it. As recorded in her own words: "I saw a strange object that caught my attention while running. It was in the formation of a triangle, but it seemed to have several objects that were forming that triangle. It wasn't very high, definitely not a plane, it was not illuminated. Initially I thought it might be a flock of birds, but it was a triangle shape not a V shape and the objects were much bigger than birds and it would have taken several birds to make the triangle as big as it was. It was almost as if they looked like styrofoam Dixie cups clustered inside the triangle. The object didn't hover to a stop, but it was slow moving and then it disappeared completely out of sight. I looked beyond the clouds and there was nothing." Witnesses: At this time, there are only two known witnesses to this event- myself and the female friend who was running with me at the track.

Regarding my background, I am a 35 year old television host and producer living in Orange County, California. I do host a popular reality and investigation-based cable television show that among other phenomena, explores reports of UFO activity. I have spoken on the UFO subject at several UFO conferences and am known for taking a neutral and skeptical approach to investigating UFO events. In the 20 plus years of researching the UFO phenomenon and within the several years of working on our show, I have become quite familiar with most misidentifications of birds, balloons, conventional aircraft, remote control craft, and hoaxes. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Sociology with certifications in Criminology and Corrections. My previous careers include working for several years in criminal and national security investigations at both the state level and as a federal law enforcement agent. I formerly held a Top Secret security level clearance which is eligible for reactivation.! I have held a current FAA Private Pilot's license since 1995 and have piloted small single engine planes in the general vicinity of the sighting. Consequently, I'm familiar with FAA Federal Air Regulations regarding aircraft lighting requirements and the use of airspace within the Huntington Beach area. I'm familiar with the basic capabilities of commercial and military aircraft known to the public.

My friend is a 32 year old female also living in Orange County, California. She formerly was employed in banking compliance where her duties required monitoring and investigating reports of fraud. She stated she has never before seen unexplained objects such as were witnessed. Although she has a passing interest in the UFO phenomenon, she has not studied it and considers herself skeptical to unexplained events.

Weather Conditions: I obtained current weather information from aviationweather.gov. The nearest airports to my location are John Wayne Orange County (KSNA) and Los Alamitos Army Airfield (KSLI). Los Alamitos was exactly 8.3 miles to the northwest from my location and SNA was 7.65 miles to the east. Accepting that there would be slight differences in the temperatures and winds between the two airports, I wanted a good average. Fountain Valley which is 3 miles to the northeast also had reported information, but not the detailed cloud heights like aviation reports.

At 9:29 pm (0427 Zulu), Fountain Valley was reporting a temperature of 64 deg. F. with a dewpoint of 56 deg. Relative humidity was 75% with winds out the the south southwest at 8 mph. Barometric pressure of 29.83 inches and visibility of greater than 10 miles.

Orange County Airport (SNA) reported in a Terminal Area Forecast (TAF) at 0453 Zulu (a little over 30 minutes after the event) that the wind was out of 250 degrees at 3 knots. Visibility was greater than 10 statute miles. Temperature was 67 deg. F. with dewpoint of 50 deg. and relative humidity of 55%. Barometric pressure was 29.82 inches. The cloud ceiling was broken at 25,000 feet AGL. Within the next 4 hours at 0900 Zulu, the forecast was expecting a few clouds at 700 feet AGL.

At Los Alamitos, the conditions were relatively the same. It was forecast that starting at 0400 Zulu (9:00 pm) the winds were variable at 6 knots with 6 or more miles visibility with clear skies.

According to the US Naval Observatory, the Moon was in the waning crescent phase (36% visible) but it was not seen in the sky at my location. The moonrise was not to take place until 2:46 am on Saturday. This eliminated it as a possible light source for the reflecting light coming off the spheres.

Trajectory, Altitude, and Size Estimates: I measured the trajectory heading to be 39 or 40 degrees from magnetic north. Using aeronautical sectional charts, the plotted course placed the object traveling nearly perpendicular to the Pacific Coastline. The beach is less than a mile from where I observed the craft. Every indication from its speed made me believe that it had entered over land from the ocean. If the heading is extended in both directions, it crosses directly over Catalina Island and continues down a corridor between two sides of a National Defense Operating Area where aircraft are warned of military training. If the heading is followed to the northeast, it continues directly over Corona and then Riverside Airport, which is in the general vicinity of March Air Force Base.

As I'm familiar with the marine layer that often passes over the area when I fly planes, I judged the height of the object to be less than 1,000 feet. This was supported by the fact that the haze was clearly detailed and visible when it obscured part of the craft as it sped by. The weather forecast in the nearby area had also expected a few clouds at 700 feet. Using the assumed altitude and comparing the angular size of a known object, I was able to arrive at a rough estimate. The known object I compared size to was the Moon. Because the Moon was not visible in the sky at the time, I measured it at a later time and used its known distance and size to arrive at the unknown object's size. My best estimate is that the object was no larger than 25 feet in length from the front point to the aft edge.

Conclusions and Speculations: I feel comfortable categorizing this event as a UFO sighting in the literal sense of the term- the craft is still an Unidentified Flying Object. As with most UFO cases, I find it easier to determine what it was not, rather than what it was. As stated previously, I feel I have satisfactorily eliminated any possibility that the craft was a lighter-than-air balloon or floating object carried by the wind. Weather reports indicated that at most, winds were no more than 8 mph and generally from the west or southwest. Wind direction corresponded to roughly the same direction the triangular object was heading, but not at all to the direction the two smaller objects were traveling. If any relationship exists between the two sightings, which would seem logical, then the second sighting has objects flying directly into the wind and would therefore indicate self-propulsion. Any discussion of wind driven objects is quite ridiculous in my opinion once the relative speed of the craft! is taken into account. Nothing short of the most severe hurricane or tornado could push an object to travel even half the speed of what we observed.

The objects were not birds. As discussed previously, both my friend and I were certain we witnessed a triangular object. In my case, I saw 3 spheres as part of a rigid triangle with defined edges. She also saw a triangle with a defined outline and states that she saw several more spheres within the shape. I also know a little more about birds and flight behavior than the average person as I'm a licensed falconer.

The craft was not a hang glider, nor was it an object towed by another aircraft. Banner towing companies will often fly banner advertisements over the beach during the day, but there were no aircraft in the immediate area and no sounds of a plane. I'm also hang gliding certified and I know of no hang gliding operations in the area. Again, the speed of the craft also precludes either one of theses explanations.

Finally, the thought of some type of remote controlled plane or multi-rotor copter was a consideration. Although some remote controlled craft can reach extreme speeds, I find it very unlikely that anything hobby or law enforcement related could travel at such a rate. Additionally, as I know from filming with an aerial remote control copter, anyone flying such a device out of line-of-site would require doing so by onboard cameras and video transmission or via completely autonomous flight. The equipment needed to fly POV in the dark, would be tremendously expensive. Similarly, it's an extremely costly and dangerous maneuver to fly by programmed waypoints without visual reference. Doing so over a very populated area known to have police helicopters and other aircraft does not make sense. The military comes to mind as the only organization with drone capability even remotely close to what we witnessed. However, at 700 feet altitude and at such a tremendous speed, I would ! expect to hear significant sounds of a fuel propulsion system. The craft in both sightings were completely silent.

I have no way of confirming whether the craft were piloted or remotely operated. It seems appropriate to declare however that their propulsion system is unconventional as belonging to any publicly known commercial or military craft. Although delta wing craft have been manufactured by the military, the lack of noise at the estimated speed and altitude is unexplainable by conventional means. (Drawing description attached)

String of lights travel across night sky in Huntington Beach Ca

I was sitting on back deck davenport island. looked towards the bridge that connects to mainland when I say a string of what appeared to be bright stars moving in formation heading parallel to warner ave but farther away.

As I watched they continued to move then they even with palm trees directly across from where I was standing they began to form a cluster with two that remained to form a kind of tail. The kept moving to my left and then I noticed a plane that was approaching and so continued to video but it was so dark that I doubt anything can be seen but my voice is clearly describing what i am seeing. The gradually began to fade then disappeared from view.

Really amazing I wonder if anyone else saw them?!

4 glowing, orange, small, triangular lights

I saw 4 triangular, brilliant, glowing, orange lights sitting stationary, in a spaced out row, at about 45 degrees. Holding my arm out, they were the size of my smallest fingernail. They were stationary about 3 minutes, the glow was mesmerizing. The three on the left, one by one, drifted up twice their original altitude to the southwest in one minute, and vanished. The fourth one drifted south in one minute and vanished.

My impression is they were about 5 miles away. I saw approximately 10 low airplanes in the immediate area, half appearing lower and half appearing higher in the sky than the orange lights. Actually, the orange lights were not far from the John Wayne Airport, and air traffic was everywhere. I saw no helicopters at any time.

I am an educated 59 year old female, familiar with the UFO phenomenon.

Orange UFO over Huntington Beach, CA

I went out to have my habitual smoke and looked up southwest over PCH and noticed the craft stationary. I ran inside to get my camera and alerted my 10 year daughter, 16 year old son and my girlfriend. the craft began to move slowly east and began to flicker. Immediately after flickering two craft dropped out of the craft and descended straight down until no longer visible. My attempts to film only ended with short unfocused videos because its a new camera and I was unable to focus quickly enough. The craft then blinked out and immediately teleported west a few miles, then blinked out again and was gone.

Ufo in Southern California sky with very distinct saucer shape, moved from East to West and Eventually disappeared over the ocean.

I was on my 2 story roof when I suddenly saw a weird light low to the ground in the eastern sky and what seemed to be a very far distance away. When I looked it looked very strange to me. I went and grabbed my binoculars and to my amazement I saw a literal saucer shaped UFO. I am 16 years old and this looked like something of a movie. It had a single pulsating red light on top. a green light on one side and red light on other side. Similar to airplane but not an airplane. I am an airplane enthusiast and know exactly what a plane or helicopter looks like. It was not a blimp either. It seemed low to the ground maybe no more than 2,000 feet in the air. It was hovering in certain area. It would go farther away and appear to be a tiny spec of a star. Then it would come back a little closer and I could see the lights on it. When it was closer I could use my high powered binoculars to see the very distinct shape of a saucer. I could not believe my eyes. It was hove! ring and slowly moving in what seemed to be a particular patter. Farther away then coming back and slowly going left and right. After watching it for about 1 hour. I when inside my house to the downstairs and talked to my mom and old her what I saw. I actually drew a picture of exactly what I saw. After about 15 minutes I came back up on my roof to see if it was still there. And when i went out I couldn't believe my eyes, it had somehow moved from what seemed to be over 50-100 miles away to less that 10-20 miles away. It moved from the eastern sky to northern sky and still remained very low to the ground. I could really see it with the binoculars and called one of my brothers friend who was in my backyard to come on the roof and see it. He saw it and didn't know what it was. From the point when I first came back onto the roof and saw how far it moved, it was slowly moving the the West and disappeared from my eyesight possibly over the ocean. I can;t believe anybody else di! d not report it. It was so real and distinct and I knew that I! was loo king at something from out of this world. Please believe me. I called news stations and they wanted video proof. I did not have a camera and my cell phone camera would have not picked it up. This was real and it was over the entire Los Angeles area. After it went what seemed to be over the ocean I could not see it anymore. That was the end of it.

I was in the jacuzzi like every night, long beach pattern is right over me.

All if a sudden I heard was sounded like a sonic boom. 15 secs after that, I was looking low over the horizon and noticed a bright orange light not moving low about 8-10 miles out over the ocean from me. Seal beach naval weapons station is right there. What caught me attention the first light was not moving and hovering too low in the horizon to be normal traffic. Then all of a sudden is travel quickly towards my location about 5 miles in with another one appear beside that one. 2 Orange glowing balls. No flashing lights from a plane or anything, just orange balls.

30 secs after those two ball appeared another one appeared. I quickly jump out of the jacazzi and ran for the video camera. they were almost two far away to get a clear shot. Then another one came in higher than the other two. Then all of a sudden one is just gone. The 2nd one then dissapears, the third one climed higher in the sky but could still be seen for about 20-30 seconds.

They looked like the moved back over the ocean. These were not our normal airline traffic. Lights were too low, moved too fast, and the color is very unique orange.

Plus no flashing lights like a helicopter.

Multiple Shimmery Objects in sky above Huntington Beach @ 11:00

We took video of a shiny Ufo today. It was one of 3 UFO's. As my girlfriend and I sat outside tending to our garage sale waiting for people, I glanced into the sky. A shiny object flickering in the clouds caught my eye and so I told her to look at it. We both looked at the object for about 5 minutes while it seemed to shimmer or flickering the sun light while staying perfectly still in one spot. I told her to go get her Camera as my iphone wouldn’t be adequate to actually get any discernable video out of.

The one we took video of was Stationary for 20 minutes in the sky around the same height or a little bit higher than the Chemtrails that were being sprayed at the time of filming. Looking at it intently we made out two films before the fully charged camera stated running low on battery then the cam died, but we kept watching. The Object then started drifting northwest very slowly becoming obscured by trees. I walked down the sidewalk heading east and found the object to be still visible from a couple houses away.

We started wrapping up our garage sale and I went around the neighbor hood in my car to go fetch the signs. When I arrived back, I went to go check if I could see if I could see the object again. I had found it again this time further away than I had last seen it. I walk back to our original viewing spot of the first on and now in the sky was a 2nd object that looked identical to the first appearing around where the first one had appeared. I put up a piece of wood and aligned it with the power line as a reference point to see if the object was moving in any direction so I could determine its movement pattern to rule out if it was a balloon or something caught in the upper winds. While looking at the 2nd object after a minute or two it started drifting southwest at a slow steady pace in a completely different direction from the original object. As it started drifting I noticed a very faint 3rd object to the right of it that slowly dimmed out after 4 minutes. Then the 2nd ob! ject that was traveling southwest slowed coming to a stop. It was at this time while I was observing the 2nd Shiny Silent shimmering object being stationary once again, that a 4th object seemed to appear right where the 2nd object was. This 4th object seemed a bit closer and started moving at a much faster rate. I moved off fast in a more westerly direction through the clouds off into the distance. The 2nd UFO stayed in it's respective spot indefinitely.

Since we had got the original footage and looked at all this action for about 45 minutes or more, we felt we had gotten our fill of these objects. We cleaned up the rest of the garage sale stuff and went on about our day.

I’m post a video of the first object. The camera ran out of battery after taking 8 minutes of footage. This is around 2 minutes of it.

Funny thing about this day was, that we had gotten into a conversation with some one whom stopped by at the sale, about 2012 and the new age that is beginning. Although I believe the action we saw was more related to the Super heavy tandem planes spraying the skies this day.

3 rectangular light-colored objects observed while driving north on 405

While driving north on the 405 freeway, I saw at least 3 relatively small (or at great distance) light colored horizontal rectangular shapes against a blue sky near dusk. These things were not particularly close together and no pattern or movement was observed. At the time I thought it looked almost like "holes" in the sky. They appeared to be far away to the west and about 45 degrees above the horizon. They did not seem to be related to nearby Los Alamitos NAS. They were not particularly close together with positions north, northwest and west relative to my position. It was notable that each of these objects appeared to be the exact same size, shape and color. The color was the same (or close to the same) as the clouds that were present.

i saw one light swirling through the sky. not overly bright, yet more of an orangish yellow solo light with a haze around it. could have possibly been a sphere. circling the brightest star in the sky for one whole rotation... and then a slightly faster motion to the next brightest star and repeating this. i saw the u.f.o. do this to 5 stars in the sky before it went out of view. moved to fast and fluid to be human craft. . . but moved slow enough, while it would circle star, to get a clear look at it. this is the only time that i have felt so strongly about a sighting, that i feel the need to report it. i panic attacked and cried at first but i have calmed down now. i regretfully had no imaging device at the time of the sighting.

The weather was partially cloudy (few clouds)I was at the parking place located at the east of the Huntington Beach library. I started walking into the park (it surrounds the Library), I looked up towards the east and I noticed two bright spherical objects almost static, very high in the sky. They were moving very slowly from East to West. The two objects remained almost 6 minutes in the same position (straight up where I was). They made no sound, but they looked like very shining stars(abnormally big). The sun light was hitting them and probably it was increasing their luminosity or light reflection. As I looked around the objects, I realized that there was a third spherical object. This one was a little bit more towards the west than the other two, but still at relatively close distance from the pair straight above me. The sunshine was making the view of this third object very difficult.

I cannot tell how high or big they were, but I can tell with certainty that they were higher up then the commercial planes that constantly fly this aerial corridor.

The sighting lasted for approximately 8 minutes. The objects quickly fade while moving towards the west, in the sun direction.

The wind was blowing contrary to their heading direction. At that time, the prevalent wind was from West (Coast) to East(Mountains). The whole incident lasted (at least from the time I first saw the objects) from 15:20 to 15:28.

There were plenty of people at the park (despite the coldness of the wind), but the person nearest to me, at approximately 20 feet, was a man practicing skate boarding. He barely noticed me contemplating straight up into the sky, but he did not give any importance to my behavior.

The Huntington Beach Police Helicopter arrived at approximately 15:27, and I could hear several sirens. The helicopter was flying around the park very close from the location where I stood looking straight up to the objects.

I do not know if there was an accident or not near by, but that is common event (at least in my experience)to have the Helicopter flying over the park.

U.F.O.s over Huntington Beach There has been an ongoing phenomenon in Huntington Beach, California, that has been happening for the past three years, and continues to this day. Unexplained sightings of objects in the night sky, that have been witnessed by members of my family as well as friends and neighbors. Let me say that in my almost 50 years, I have never seen these objects before in my life and neither has anyone else who witnessed them.

The first such occurrence happened on the night of February 5, 2011, at around 9 p.m., I was alone and out walking our dog when I looked up and saw a bright orange object heading north from the ocean to about the center of the city. From my vantage point, the object looked to be about 20 feet in diameter and was at an altitude of only 1000-1500 feet. It was completely round and transparent like an orb and as if it were made of gas but also had an electrical component as the inside of it appeared to have a charge of some sort like lightning bolts within it. The orange plasma ball moved very slowly at perhaps 20 m.p.h. across the sky for about two minutes total and then made a 90 degree angle and headed straight up slowly to a very high altitude until it could no longer be seen. All the while it made no noise whatsoever. I found this very curious as I have never seen anything such as this before. It wasn’t a plane, balloon, drone or natural object and seemed to move as if by! intelligent design.

These sightings have occurred at least 12 times in the past three years of which I have personally witnessed 8 of them. My family and friends told me about the others. The latest event witnessed was on January 5, 2014. The glowing balls show up every 2-4 months or so and perhaps more often if they are not seen by someone each time. These orange balls of light have always appeared solely as one and not a cluster as some have witnessed in other areas. They are always orange in color, appear in the evenings between 8p.m. and 11 p.m. and can travel from different directions (east to west, north to south, ect..), make turns and even hover over a spot. My wife says she saw one stop and hover right above her for a minute as if it were watching her and then slowly went onward.

I do not normally make a report on every small thing that I may see but the number and frequency of these objects compels me to report these sightings as they have become almost commonplace in our area and I hope it helps to find an explanation as to what these objects in our night sky are.

hi peter i live in hb oc and i have a great view of the ocean. on this morning i went outside on my front porch with my gf and we were having a cig. i looked towards the ocean and i saw to disks in the air over the ocean. i took out my cell phone and shot some pics of them.the next day a few miles away is where the supposed missile was seen and videoed i watched the video and it sure looks to me like there is a ufo right next to the contrail this was not a plane this area is a uso hot spot being so close to catalina island.i think this is the smoking gun this time lets not let this sighting go by the wayside !!

Zig Zagging Point of light

My boyfriend and I were walking along the beach near Huntington Beach Pier and we were gazing at the stars. We noticed what we thought was a shooting star and watched as it darted across the epanse of the sky. This point of light then began to zig zag ever so slightly from its parabolic path. We also noticed a red blink, which led us to initially believe it might be a VERY high flying plane. Again, the light zig zagged from its path, then fell back into line.

From the time we began watching it from about the middle of the dome of the sky to our left horizon, the light took less than a minute to cross the sky (much, much more quickly than other planes in the sky at much lower altitudes.) We placed our "event time" estimation on the time it might have taken for the light to begin at one end of the sky to the other, prior to us watching.

Cylidrical object with bright white lights heading northeasterly from downtown Huntington Beach

At approximately 10:30 pm my brother went outside to the balcony to smoke a cigarette and I was speaking with my sisters inside my second story apartment. I live very close to the beach in Huntington Beach and the fireworks display at the downtown pier had just finished at 9:30 pm. My sisters and brother were waiting for traffic to subside before the departed home.

About 10 seconds after my brother went to the balcony he yelled my name very loud to come outside now. I proceeded outside to see what the commotion was about to see him pointing in an easterly direction at an object approximately 300 feet in the air at a distance approximately 3/4 to 1 mile away moving in a northerly direction. The object was cylindrical with bright white lights on the entire exterior of the craft and a flashing red light at the top of the object. It continued in a northerly direction for approximately 5 seconds when it banked to a easterly direction.

When the object banked you could see the object was cylindrical in shape. It continued in a easterly direction for 10 seconds until out of site due to the low cloud cover.

My estimation of the size of the craft would be about 200 to 300 feet in length with a width of 75 feet to 100 feet in width.

Low flying UFO with a single red and green light slight white glow around it over pacific coast highway in Huntington Beach, CA.

I was driving south on pacific coast highway halfway between magnolia and brookhurst streets when i saw a strange object coming in the opposite direction i saw a red and green light underneath and a slight outline glow around it. As it got closer i rolled down my window and stuck my head out the window turned down the radio and stared at the object as it silently floated directly overhead about 75 to 100 feet high and past me.

At the next stop light brookhurst and PCH the car next to me was staring back at the object as well. They rolled down their window and yelled what was that as i reciprocated the same question. Neither of us could explain it and continued our conversation at the next light with both of us coming to the conclusion it was a UFOs i proceeded i did see two cop cars speeding towards where the three of us had just seen this UFO.

4 shape shifting lights flies through the sky with planes and helicopters following it

So I was driving down the 405s freeway between beach blvd and Goldenwest Ave in Huntington Beach, CA at around 7pm and i saw an assortment of lights that were 4 distinct lights that formed the shape of an a-symmetric v with one light making one of the legs of the v while the other three light formed the other leg of the v.

While at first i thought it was just a plane I kept watching it and saw the lights shift position in which the light kind of circled around each other and each light changed positions until it came around into a straight line. The unusual part was a few things, first, the four lights were not connected but if you focused in the lights you could see a faint light connecting all the lights together as if it were four lights on a string that would shift around as it moved through the sky.

The second unusual part was that you could definitely see helicopters/airplanes following it like they were chasing it and as the helicopters/airplanes got closer the object would shift-shape and fly faster, i saw the object go from my left side of the car (north) to the front (east) to the right side (southwest) in less than a minute.

Now it was not making any sounds that i could tell just the sounds of planes and helicopters. The only reason that I would come to conclusion that this could be a ufo is that I had seen these same actions on two different tv shows at two different dates on the history channel in which these exact descriptions were portrayed; four lights appearing to be shape shifting starting as a v then turning into a straight line kind of like Orion’s belt, but four lights, moving through the sky. The other identifiable aircrafts were following it and having trouble keeping up. Again please let me know if there is another like story like this or if you know of aircrafts that do these kinds of actions thank you.

I woke at 0400'sh and was going to the bathroom. Looking out my bathroom window I saw what I originally thought was fireworks (at 0400?). Two blue lights were in the west and went straight up then stopped. Thinking again I thought it might be the HB Police helicopter but there was no sound. Then it shot right, slowly went up and I was losing sight in the bathroom. I went in the backyard and continued to watch. The two blue lights were together and went from left to right, down then up at various speeds. I called for my wife who woke up, came outside but it was gone. First time EVER seeing anything like this. It was in the western sky at about 0415 in the morning and someone else must have seen it.

Blue/Green Translucent Worm Over Huntington Beach

I saw this object over Westminster and Springdale streets in Huntington Beach, California. The white/silver thing had vanished so I put away my video camera and went back to my yard work. Then I saw the blue/green translucent worm. It was morphing and moving, these colors were like nothing I’ve ever seen. I went back inside and grabbed the video camera again. I managed to get some of this one on DV tape, but the colors are not as intense as watching it live. Again the wind was out of the west, and this object is moving against the wind to the west. I called my wife out so she could see it too. It would stay stationary for a while then it would go up or down in my sky and go east sometimes then west. This was a perfectly clear day, and after this one vanished after 20 minutes, I saw a strange black, two engine jet fly over where the two objects had both been.

White/Silver Object Over Huntington Beach, California

I saw this object over Westminster and Springdale streets in Huntington Beach, California. I was removing a wasp nest from the eve of my house with a stream of water from a garden hose. After I knocked it down and was spraying the wasps I looked up at the eve and saw this white/silver shimmering object staying stationary in the sky. As I watched it, I saw it moving slowly left and right. It did not seem to be affected by the wind. The wind was out of the west maybe 5 mph. at ground level. I went inside and grabbed my video camera. It is really hard to film these things. I got some of it on tape but I’m disappointed at my video. At least I managed to capture something. The white/silver thing moved back to the west, against the wind, hovering then moving again. I called my wife out to look at it and my kids saw it too. Unimpressed they went back into the house. I watched and tried to get it on film for over 15 minutes, and then it just vanished.

The stars were moving west and I noticed the Big Dipper. I then saw something that looked like a star moving North. I thought it might be a plane but wondered how high a plane would have to be to look like a star. I lost sight of it for 2 minutes behind some clouds. Nighttime UFO Fleet Sighting - Orion - Huntington Beach-California - December 2008

December 12, 2008 11:30 PM My wife was outside and noticed a fleet of lights moving across the night sky. She asked me to come look at this. I looked up and saw what looked like bright stars moving from northwest to southeast across my night sky. She pointed out three of the lights in the middle of the group that were moving in a diagonal row. There were scattered clouds that night moving west to east. The lights just kept coming and coming. There had to be at least a hundred of these lights in all. They were all moving at the same speed and direction, maintaining the same distance from each other, across the night sky. The lights were slightly different in colors and brightness, some were pure white and bright, some were slightly orange-red, and some were blue-white. To us they all appeared to be at the same altitude moving swiftly, taking over a full minute to cross over our entire night sky. It was just amazing how many of them there were, and the speed they must have been going. I’ve seen many satellites in the past moving across the night sky and these lights were moving at twice the speed of them. Once the fleet had moved past us there were no more lights trailing behind.

The next morning I thought about the three stars that my wife had pointed out to me when I had first joined her outside. Then it hit me, Orion, the constellation of Orion, the belt! That night I showed her the constellation of Orion in the sky; I asked her if anything looked familiar? Without hesitation she pointed to the three stars of Orion’s belt. I printed out a picture of Orion and held it up over my head, as strange as this might be, I feel that the fleet of lights was moving in the formation of the constellation Orion.

Has anyone ever seen, or have there ever been any reported sightings like this?

12/06/08 3:15 am I saw the Orange light again. It was straight out from my front porch low in the sky, just above the power lines. It moves slowly, stopping then moving again, to the east. I went to grab my cell phone; The Orange light was still there when I came back but it had stopped moving. As I watched it and tried to turn on my phone (battery dead) it just disappeared as I watched. This was a perfectly clear night. I could see the star Sirius and the Big Dipper, very clearly. The Orange light was brighter than the stars, but just a little dimmer than Sirius. The Orange light was visible for about two minutes. Then I saw a second Orange light much higher in the sky, coming from the northwest and moving in the direction where the first Orange light had vanished. These two lights were unmistakably the same color orange, as I had seen on December 2, 2008. The Orange light went to about the same area where the first one disappeared, and then it vanished.

Orange orb moves east then west over Huntington Beach

Orange Orb Light In Huntington Beach I was driving west on Bolsa Street and noticed an orange light in the sky. It was a color like I’ve never seen before, kind of like a candle flame. The light was moving east and was south of me.

I stopped at the store at Springdale and Bolsa Streets. I watched the light move slowly east for about a minute. (I REALLY wish I took a picture of it now)

I went into the store for about five minutes. When I came out the light had moved west and was almost overhead. It was an overcast night so the clouds reflected the orange glow. I’m guessing that the clouds were about 1500 feet up that night.

There was a slight wind out of the south, the light did not seem to be affected by the wind as it moved east then west, it stopped and moved slowly, there was no sound. I drove home for about 3 minutes and when I parked my car and got out I could still see the light. It was still moving west and was lower in the sky since I had moved about a mile north of it. I went inside my house and changed out of my clothes. About 5 minutes later I went outside looking south and the light was still moving west.

I watched the light from my front porch for about 2 minutes then it moved up really fast and disappeared into the overcast cloud layer.

As I walked to the back of the house with no lights on inside or outside looking out into the backyard through the slider glass door about 6 to 8 feet away from me there hovering slowly over our pool between the garauge wall and slider door (about 20ft distance between the two) there was a clear sphere the circumference of four feet with bright red and white strobe lights flashing from the inside. As I got closer to the slider glass door to get a better look it floated slowly closer to the slider door and it seemed as if it noticed me and turned into a solid glowing green blue color with vien like black sploches. At this point I could not believe my eyes and scared I ran to the opposite side of the house to get someone else to see what I was seeing and as I looked back acrossed the house about 50ft away it was still floating in front of the slider glass door flashing the red light and in an instant it went up out of my view.

Diagnol Upward Moving Star Like UFO's

"I was in my house and I looked out the window. I saw this really bright star and I kept looking at it to remember if it was Venus or not. All of a sudden it started to move in an upward diagnol way. It made no sound. There was some haze like stuff around it. It had to be at least 10,000 fett in the air because I saw a plane pass by it 5 minutes before. When it was almost out of my sight it went diagnolly down a little bit then shot off up again extremely fast, faster than a jet I have ever saw. I was a little scared. Then I saw another really bright star in the same location. Then it started moving in a diagnol upward position again. It followed the same procedure as the last one then shot off. This happened three more times. Then I got really freaked out so I went to my room.

I heard a helicopter outside..when me and my brother went outside we saw a small orange ball...slowly falling toward the ground..the helicopter flew in a cirle around the ball shinging its light on it...as it fell it broke into pieces and disappered except when the helicopter light shined on it...it looked smaller but silver in color..it slowly fell as the helicopter kept flying around it shining its light on it...it seemed to finally hit the ground the helicopter took off..it was very strange...my brother took a picture of it...but when he went to get his video camera the battery was dead =( it was a very strange object.

Large craft with two red lights hovering in sky tracked by a police helicopter for several minutes.

At approximately 10:45 p.m., a few friends and I were on our third story deck when we witnessed a strange object with two red lights hovering in the sky. Even more peculiar is that this object was being tracked by a police helicopter, which kept circling the object and shining a high intensity beam of light on it. The object did not move like any sort of aircraft we have even seen, and appeared almost stationery for five minutes before it gradually started moving downward until it eventually disappeared from view below the horizon. The helicopter began to fly at rapid speed in what appeared to be an attempt to track the object as it continued to move just below the tree lines for several more minutes. We were able to view the object while it was still high over our house with a pair of very good binoculars. Upon closer examination, one could clearly make out two very bright red lights that were close together. Its overall size appeared to be almost the same as the police helicopter's. Anything more than that would be pure speculation. However, as a person who frequently watches planes and similar craft flying over my house, I can positively state that these lights were not coming from any type of airplane advertisement, helicopter, remote controlled toy craft, or weather balloon, due to the extremely peculiar way it was able to just hover without really moving for several minutes and then take off very quickly. Also, if it made any noise from an engine, we couldn't hear it, but that may have been due to the loudness of the helicopter nearby. I don't expect the police to actually own up to chasing this thing, which is why I am reporting it here. However, I will attempt to follow up on this tomorrow by checking the local news reports and the Huntington Beach police blotter. I will submit another entry if I find anything else out.

Police helicopter chasing sphere.

After a surf we were hosing off outside and we heard the H.B. police helicopter buzzing above us wildly. It usually just cruises around but this time it was in a cat and mouse game with an object that was about the size of a car. I have perfect vision and a rather extensive background in aviation.

We could make out all of the features of the copter but the object appeared to be like two clamshells together in a golden metallic color with possibly some blackish horizontal stripes. It was pulling off some fantastic manuevers that looked impossible! The chopper couldn't come close to it.

My hairs on my neck stood up and I felt that this is not of this world! It also had no lights and no sound. It was almost dusk outside.I yelled to my girlfriend to get the videocam but she was too late.

Also, there is an electric plant nearby and it flew around it twice before it shot off like a bullet with the copter in pursuit. I was a bit sceptical about this stuff until this happened, but now I know for sure something's going on here-if it was our govt., they wouldn't be testing something over houses!

Orange light traveling parallel to the Pacific coast emitting streaks of orange light.

An orange light was sighted, hovering at first then continued heading southwest parallel to the beach. As it moved across the sky, it ejected what looked like molten metal that left traces as it fell. It ejected material for 5 or 6 times as we watched it. It was very high in the sky, at least 4000 feet, I would say.

I've searched your site and found 15 sightings of the same object ejecting material in California alone. I mapped all 15 on to a map of CA, it has been seen all over the state, since 2002. I just found the same sighting in Phoenix,AZ on 6/1/05 at 23:00 hours, an orange light emitting balls of light.

A shooting bright red light intermittently visible in eastern sky near Saturn.

While attempting to view Saturn/Venus through intermittent cloud cover early Friday morning, my husband and I witnessed what appeared to be a red light falling through the sky. There were four separate sightings of this light, which appeared high in the eastern sky very close to Saturn. Each sighting lasted approximately 5-10 seconds, and spanned a total period of about 10 minutes. The unusual light (or object) was similar in appearance to the red dot that is produced by a lazer pointer, but brighter and larger. It appeared to be rapidly falling in an "s" shaped pattern, almost as if it was weaving in and out of the clouds. However, this description is somewhat inaccurate since we were able to view it clearly through the heaviest parts of the morning mist/cloud cover, even when Saturn (and everything else) was temporarily obstructed from our view. I am not sure whether this could have been a reflection from some sort of dust particles, since the sun was just coming up on the horizon. However, I have been star gazing for a while and have never observed anything this unusual. If anyone else witnessed something similar, or has any idea what it could be, please post it, as I am totally mystified.

While video taping a spider making a web ,I captured a U.F.O. fly bye in the sky behind the spider.

While video taping a garden spider on July 22, spinning a web in my small apt. back yard, I witnessed a white oval shaped blur cross the sky traveling from south to north . As I ranted and raved about the object I had just seen to my elderly parents, my dad reminded me that my canon GL1 with a wide angle, may have captured the image. It did ! I have this object on video tape passing behind and over the spider building it's web.It is very crytic footage to say the least,and I'm sure it's got to be a one of a kind setting, that is, getting a spider and a U.F.O. together on video tape.

On a very clear night I walked out on my balcony and noticed the Moon looks very strange

On a very clear night I walked out onto my balcony about a half a block up from the beach and I noticed the Moon looked strange and it was actually a bit bigger than a basketball floating above the apartment building next door approximately 40 feet away from me.
I sat and looked at it and amazement and then I noticed that the light it was emitting was a little bit strange and was not coming from space but more like from a streetlight that you get that type of effect from.
Saying how I am not completely crazy I figured this just must have been a visual illusion and about that time my landlord son locked out and I called him up on my balcony and he saw the exact same thing.
I've never really thought about it much until recently When the UFO nimitz files came out because this was happening all out in my backyard at this time.so did I witness some type of probe watching us ?

Me and my mom were saying good-bye to a friend at around 9:45 at night.When I go out at night I always look up in the sky to see if I can see any stars or planets. That is kind of hard when you live pretty close to Los Angeles.On this night my mom and I looked up into the sky and saw a dimond shaped craft that was brighter than a star and not as bright as a planet. It was not moving and I am positive that it was not an air plane or helicopter because of the lack of noise. Me and my mom watched it for a few minutes and then we went in. I looked out again at ten o'clock and it was still there.It also hadn't moved an inch from where it had been before. Then by chance I looked out the window into the Northern sky where it had always been. I was going to go to sleep so I just looked for a couple of seconds and when I was looking it suddenly vanished and I have never seen it again.

Bright star with red flashing

Our bedroom window faces south giving us an unobstructed view of the ocean and that part of the sky. We routinely sleep with our blinds open to view the stars... what few of them we can see here in the light polluted southern California sky. At about 9pm I saw what I initially thought was an unusually bright star. It was brighter than anything in the sky. I would describe it as nearly the same color as those new auto headlights... the kind that make other headlights look yellow by comparison. Same with this star -- it made the others look yellow by comparison. Another unusual attribute of this star was that it seemed to flicker more than other stars. At about 10pm I noticed that there was a red flash in the star. I got out my binoculars to confirm. The red flashing didn't look like that of an aero plane. It was random, not steady like an aircraft. My thought at this time was that is was some kind of natural space event like a sun going nova or something. I hadn't detected any movement up to this point. I called a couple of my ham radio buddies to ask if they could see it. One could view it by standing on a ladder. It's about 10:20pm now. My buddy noticed it was moving very slowly... like the minute hand on a clock. He said it was dropping relative to the phone wires. He couldn't see the red flashes per say, but thought the atmosphere was altering the color and causing the unusual flickering. We also noticed it was starting to dim. From then on I made note of the movement and brightness of the object. At this point I was thinking that it was falling out of the sky and on fire, gradually growing dimmer as the fire burned out... maybe it was a weather balloon. Eventually I threw out that idea and decided it was not falling but remaining an the same altitude and moving south-west away from me... growing dimmer as the distance increased. I continued to observe the object until about 11:15 pm when it went dimmed to nothing. My opinion at this time, Sunday morning, it that this was some kind of very high altitude aircraft.

The sky was clear. I was on my porch smoking and I noticed three egg shaped lights in the formation of a triangle flying very fast...

My boyfriend and I were on the patio smoking. he is the one that said " hey honey, look at that!". I looked at it just as it was flying directly above my head. As I stared at it, I tried to analys what it was. It all happened quickly but my first view was three egg shaped lights moving together in the shape of a triangle. I thought well It must be military jets in formation or somthing. i thought that because they were at a very fast speed. I didnt realize they were seperate until the two back end lights of the triangle seperated for about 2 seconds. then I was tripping out. Then it seemed to go up higher into the sky until it became small and we could not see it anymore. My boyfriend and I looked at eachother and he pointed out two regular airplanes flying above us. " see, those are planes, those are flying much slower. What the hell was that?" We then realized we can hear those planes flying. we did not hear a sound when we saw that thing. I dont believe in aliens but I can definately say it was some sort of ufo. That's for sure.

A ball of light at a distance of approx. 1/2 to 1 mile moving at high speed with extremely exagerated lateral and vertical motions that disapeared out of sight very rapidly.

Urban setting, there was a military (hard chopping) helicopter at lower than normal altitude moving at what seemed to be a odd and erratic flight pattern, that is what made me look up. The object was low on the horizon. As I write this now I can hear several loud aircraft in the background out my window. The object had no distinguishable characteristics other than being a ball of light, if I were to guess at the size of the object, I would say that it was probably the size of a large or medium sized helicopter. What caught my attention was the speed and VERY sudden accelerations and changes of trajecory that it made. I have seen many military craft flying at different altitudes and none of them ever approached this level of speed and directional change. At this moment I can see no less than 3 helicopters out my window.

14 Lights lined up at approximately a 45 degree angle High point left to low point right, 7 bright white lights made up the upper \ shape, and 7 dimmer and smaller red lights made up the bottem half of this \ pattern on the horizon..

The size of the lights were compared easily to larger, brighter, stars that were seen in between the clouds at the same time. Each light, seemed to gyrate in circular patterns but never as much as to leave the formation of \ Again, I am just using \ as the formation of these lights in the lower horizon. The whole "Line" of lights would move very slowly, keeping shape, but changing the degree of angle, toward the ground and back up again.. These movements were very slow and only seen by using a reference point to analyze small changes.. The approximate time duration was unknown; I got home at about 2:30 and got ready for bed.. I went out to smoke one last cig and notice 3 lights that I thought were 3 planets lining up instead of the two, (venus and mars), that I've known about to happen.. I then moved to a better clearing / Angle, and realized the above.. I was very tired that night and was only able to watch for about 1 Hr, 4:20am, Which I HAD to go to bed.. I wish I would have waited now, for some people that are close to me won't even believe me.. * << 7 star like lights made up the top half, and 7 dimmer red lights made up the bottem half of this unitentified object.. Oh yes, another thing that was unusual was a blip-blip sound that kept repeating it'self on a strange note. * * *

As I look up, and seeing the HB Cop Helicopper, I looking at some odd sighting, but far away. It was round shape, white or silver look, I stand there, and look at it for a min, and see that this UFO was hovering. Then take off so fast. Then some military Airplane came by.

Sphere chased by Huntington Beach Helocopter

Myself and a friend were hosing off the sand from our wetsuits outside my house after surfing and noticed the usual buzzing of the H.B. copter only it was going really fast and obviously up to something.

We looked up and saw it in hot pursuit of a car sized bronze colored silent ball. It was late afternoon almost dusk but you could see the sun still shining off of the sphere. It was silent and swift as it was sort of zig-zagging around almost playing with the helo which had no chance.

It circled the electrical plant next to us and then took off heading inland accelerating out of sight with the helo following.

Both observers have extensive aviation backgrounds and one good vision and one with 20/17 vision. Also, a checklist was gone through TWICE just to confirm everything such as sound, markings, numbers...wings all of which was unexplainable.

The scary thing is we know the govt. wouldn't be testing something that close to a pop. and very low maybe a few hundred feet or so. Plus it just plain gave us the heeby-jeebies.

I personally never saw anything like it and was a sceptic. Emphasis on WAS.
