My friend and I were walking on this sunny clear day when we saw a bright silver object glowing in the sky. It immediately caught our eye because it was day time and no stars or any other planet was expected to be seen at the time. The object was at the same place for a minute and then quickly reduced in size and vanished. If it had been a plane, it would have moved. My friend always considered UFOs as a hoax but what we saw made her question that and stare in awe. We both had left the phones at home so could not capture an image.

Bright Light Seen from Bay Area 7:20PM

At 7:20PM this evening my wife and I were sitting on a bench in out backyard. I was looking up at the southern sky about 35 degrees above the horizon and spotted a very small but very bright light source that quickly dimmed and brightened as it appeared to be stationary but rising rapidly. My thought at the time was that it was an irregularly shaped object reflecting the light of the setting sun, and the intensity of the light ranged from ‘out’ to very bright. At the same time, however, it appeared to be climbing rapidly.

After about a minute my wife was able to see it as well. Again, it was a deep orange color, varied greatly in brightness, was as small as a small star (like half the size of Sirius, but visible in daylight), and rising. I was able to see it in binoculars but only briefly. I would believe it was well above regular aircraft altitudes, and near the height of a satellite, but again stationary and climbing. No sound could be heard.

I happened to look up and saw a silver, metallic, cylindrical object that seemed to be spiraling towards the earth.

I was sitting at a traffic light heading back to work. This was in broad daylight during lunchtime. I just happened to look up through my front windshield when I noticed a silver, metallic, cylindrical object that seemed to be spiraling towards the earth. There were no wings, protrusions or sound coming from this object.

I thought that it would have to crash and make a large boom, but it continued to spiral down and went behind the tree line where I could no longer see it. I never heard any booms or saw any indications of a crash. I checked the news and other sources of media to see if anyone else reported it, but no such luck.

It was as big or bigger than airliner.. no wings... no sound... clear as day... moving fast... not blimp speed... no visible means of propulsion... tried to get my phone cam out but had left inside.

Donut shaped craft or large balloon

Is someone releasing very large donut shaped balloons that fly very high? The whole family was just outside playing ball and riding bikes on street out in front of our house and we saw this thing floating through the sky very high up. It looked just like the one in the article I linked below. It was very high and very large as several commercial jets flew by as well and it ended up going into the same clouds so we could make a decent comparison. It didn't make any abrupt moves other than to come to a dead stop and then proceed a couple times. We watched it for about 5 minutes before I lost it in the clouds. My guess is someone released a very big circular donut shaped balloon... but if so I'd think that could be dangerous to air traffic flying so high up.

Point of light with faint, wispy weather-balloon-shaped feature protruding from its side.

It was a point of light travelling slowly westward from about 5 deg west of Polaris, with a faint, comet-like tail protruding sideways toward the north. The end of the tail seemed to end in a roughly spherical cloud. It traveled westward for about 45 seconds where I lost sight of about 15 deg above a relatively brighter horizon. The fuzzy teardrop-shaped feature was large - about three times the diameter of a full moon.

Our living room window face north where we have a clear view of Mt. Diablo. This particular evening, my daughter and I were home while my husband was at work teaching evening classes.

While our daughter was doing her homework at the table, I was getting ready to close our blinds. I saw this white streak of light or something that caught my attention and it flew from left to right near the top of Mount Diablo from my vantage point. Having only been here since June of last summer, we were excited to be back in California from North Carolina.

My hair stood on end because in my mind, I knew what I saw and while I was processing this, I didn't t want to believe this.

I asked around and apparently found out that this area in the Central Valley/East Bay (San Ramon) area is known to be a hot spot for activity. This truly scares me because I'm so used to hearing/seeing this in the media but never did I expect to see what I had seen that evening. It truly scares me. I won't go near there as I know people hike the territory etc., when I drive into work every morning, to be honest, I'm scared to death of walking to my car because it's so dark and creepy here. It really is. For anyone that knows this area well, it is. I wish we had known this prior to moving here.

4 Silent Bright formation, just dimmer than Venus at a 45 degree viewing angle from 126 Deg, SE to 86 Deg. E in a matter of 3 seconds.

Hello, I live in San Ramon California 94582. The sighting was at 7:38PM Pacific Time on November 25th 2012 I was looking at an approximate 45 Degree angle just under the Moon at 126 Degrees South East. I noticed a very bright group of spheres in a offset Triangular pattern moved from 126 Degrees SE to 86 Degrees E in a matter of 3 seconds. They were totally silent. I could not get my iPhone video recorder up fast enough before they disappeared entirely from sight at 86 Degrees East. My exact coordinates are 37 Degrees 46’ 31” N, 121 Degrees 56’ 56” W. I would really like to know if anyone else saw this.

Driving north on 680 saw 5-7 red-orange orbs in the sky flying in impossible formations

Ok, the adrenaline is still flowing, but I want to write this down as it's fresh, forgive my grammar.

Driving north on 680 in San Ramon California. Saw 5-7 red-orange orbs in the sky flying in impossible formations. They were able to rapidly reorganize into different flying formations. I turned the car around and exited the highway. All four people in the car witnessed this, when I found a safe place to try and film I could not get around the trees and buildings to get a clear shot. Another driver pulled their car over and witnessed the same thing, I gave this driver my binoculars to try and see if he could see while I tried to capture on my iPhone. These things were fast and I just couldn't catch them on my iPhone, I really tried. I cannot express how intense a feeling it is to see a real UFO and trying and get a good look. The objects basically started to fade out one by one and then they were gone. I saw these same type of objects on May 6 in the bay area! . I have no doubt something major is going on. We were seeing is their glow, there has to be a solid surface, but the distance was too great to discern. They were at around 20K feet by my estimate. There is no way at these were planes or helicopters they move way to fast and change direction in impossible ways.

Three bright objects seen over the San Ramon/Dublin/Pleasanton/Livermore, CA sky.

I was walking Southbound on the Iron Horse Trail in San Ramon, CA around 5pm on January 25, 2011, when I noticed three low-flying bright white objects traveling from East to West across the sky.

It appeared as if they were traveling West from the general direction of Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. The objects moved at a slow-to-fast pace, often at a drift much slower than airplane/helicopter traffic that is regularly seen in this area. The shape of the light was elliptical in nature, but it was so bright that it was difficult to see the object edges. For that reason, it is difficult to make a solid judgement regarding the final shape of the object. I will say that they appeared to be more oblong/disc-shaped, but at some points they appeared more circular and symmetrical as they moved across the sky.

The sun had already dropped from view, so the objects really stood out across the colored sky. I stood and watched for 15 minutes as they headed across a flight path that appeared to parallel the path of the 580 freeway going from East to West towards the Oakland/San Francisco area.

There were three objects total. Regarding the flight path and group formation of the objects, I am going to describe this in terms of a grid, from my standpoint on the trail at the time of the sighting. I work in the technology field, so I'm going to describe it as if I was looking at grid on a horizontal/vertical x/y axis.

Think of this as if you were looking at the latitude and longitude lines on a map. That should help with envisioning the explanation, as this is a difficult thing for me to describe otherwise.

With that in mind, it appeared that each of the objects was flying on a fixed path, parallel with the ground. Each of the three objects was at a different elevation, but it appeared that each of them stayed on a solid path that appeared to run parallel with the natural curve of the Earth's surface. To the naked eye, and given the short distance in which the objects traveled and eventually disappeared in, it appeared as if the objects didn't adjust vertical elevation at all at any point during the sighting.

While they each stayed on a consistent and steady horizontal flight path, the group formation and speed of the objects appeared more inconsistent. At first, all three objects flew in a tight equilateral triangular formation. As the objects moved across the sky, they would independently change speed, eventually flying in a formation that more represented an isosceles triangle, then a scalene triangle, and then eventually back to an isosceles triangle formation. Each object appeared to be at a different elevation, with the elevation differences between each object appearing to be equal to the naked eye. The speed varied during the sighting, with each accelerating and decelerating independently at speeds slower than typical air traffic.

There are 3 major airports (SFO, OAK and San Jose Airport) and many smaller airports (Livermore, Buchanan, Napa) and Travis AFB within a 65 mile radius of the sighting, so we regularly see all forms of air traffic. These objects flew at varying rates of slow speed that aren't typical of any of the regular air traffic. In addition, these objects had no FAA colored lights that are typically seen on regular air traffic.

The reason I decided to post this nearly six months after the original date of the sighting was that I had stumbled across similar sightings online, and I decided that it would be helpful to document the sighting since it was so similar to others I had seen in California. I also was able to capture an image on my cell phone of 2 of the 3 objects. Unfortunately, the 3rd object was hidden behind a large power line pole, so it's not visible in the photograph.

My background is in technology and design, and in my career I've also done a lot of work in photography and video. What stood out to me here was the brightness of the objects, and how I was unable to distinguish the hard lines that would typically be seen around an object. At sunset/dusk, any object in the sky is going to be backlit by the sun descending down the horizon line. This means that the edges of that backlit object should be clearly visible. The brightness of the objects, combined with the fact that there weren't visible edges, leads me to believe that these objects were radiating a large amount of light on their own.

At the end of my roughly 15 minute observation, the objects disappeared from the sky. It was as sudden as someone flipping a light switch. There was no fading, or change in color or brightness of the objects.

These could be government aircraft from a project at the Lawrence Livermore Labs, but they might not be either. I guess that's why I posted the sighting here, because over the last six months there hasn't been a day that has gone by where I haven't looked up at the sky on a clear day in hope of seeing this again.

I am a skeptic at heart, but I know what I saw that day was unlike anything I'd seen before.

This happened some years ago when I was with my ex-boyfriend. He invited his married friends/couple over for dinner. When they got there dinner was still cooking so we had some drinks and relaxed. The guys stayed in the garage and smoked cigarettes while me and the friends wife went outside to enjoy the clear night sky. We were having our first glass of wine when I noticed something out of the corner of my eye. My friend was talking while we were sitting at the patio set...I could see her lips move but I was watching this weird, football shaped florescent green light float above the roof and gently drop down...following the angle of the roof. It is getting closer and drops just 3 feet above our heads...she is still talking. I cant take my eyes off of it...I can't even move or speak...it is above our heads now...gently pulsating within itself. I look at her she is staring at it as well and she looks transfixed. I look up again and watch it float over my neighbor's fence and disappear. We are both stunned for a moment and then she says, "Did you see that?!". I said, "You saw it too?!". She said yes and we immediately went into the garage to tell the guys what we saw. I even went as far as to call the FBI and tell them what I saw and their response was, "Do you know how many of these calls we get a day?!", and hung up on me. I will never forget that experience. While I was looking at the light, I noticed that I couldn't speak or move. It glided above my head ever so gently...as if it was watching/recording me...it was so slow and it seemed to pulsate every 3 seconds and very slowly and it kept its shape continuously. It was football/egg shaped approximately 2' in length and about 1' wide. It was the color of that florescent lime green that you see in movies like Ghostbusters. And the object made no sound whatsoever...it slowed down when it was over our heads while seated at the patio set in the backy! ard...it moved slow and gently but it went extremely slow over our hea ds and we couldn't speak or move...not until it let us as it floated away over the neighbors wood fence...like within 5 seconds until we spoke to each other...then we ran!

3 Bright Lights that were in perfect formation in the early hours of morning rapidly moving caught my eye!!

The object I saw was at first almost like a airship as it had 2 bright lights that seemed to be following close behind but spaced apart. Then the light in the middle seemed to have been shaped as a can like shape really although stubby it had a flat top at one point but it seemed that the light was off for a few minutes and then kind of flickered almost as if their were problems with it but as a few minutes passed the middle bright light was back on and remained on as I was video taping a segment that was 15 min long. As this was taking place the object in the middle was moving quite rapidly and then had seemed to at one point stand still as if it was looking at me as well. (a little creepy to say the least!) the colors were mostly a orange hue or red hue but not much more than that as the 3 white lights were really what stood out and that's what got me to look up and wonder what the heck... I was outside in the front of my house at 4 am EXACTLY as I couldn't sleep for some reason so I stepped out to have a cigarette and as I was lighting it I just glanced up and noticed these 3 bright lights that seemed to be either attached to eachother or following eachother in perfect formation. I always take my cell with me even for a smoke as once I was locked out and as I say ONCE I was! So O got my cell out and turned it on to take a video of what caught my attention. This was a little exciting

We were driving southbound on 680 at about 70 MPH and saw what appeared to be a blimp with lights running (approximately a string of 20) from left to right of the object that seemed to tilt toward us causing the lights to go from a straight line to a curve which made it look like a saucer. It moved further south until we can only saw a flashing small light which made us rule out a blimp. This is when my sister started videotaping. While keeping an eye on this small light, another one appeared on our left side and we caught the string of lights also running from left to right but we also saw what appeared to be an array of lights from the bottom before we saw the running string of lights.

We were traveling east on Bollinger Canyon Road, San Ramon, on 02/14/07. At 8:10 p.m., I noted (at the 11:00 position) a flashing red and white object overhead. It was traveling at a slow pace, then stopped and hovered. While heading back going west on Bollinger Canyon Road, the object appeared to keep pace with us. We then headed north on Dougherty Valley Road, then west on Crow Canyon Road, toward Danville. The object kept pace with us; it was at a fairly high distance, so we could not determine its shape. While in Danville, going south on Brookside Drive, I again spotted this flashing red and white object. As we turned a corner, still on Brookside Drive, this object turned, lowered its elevation, and headed toward us. At this point, we realized it was heading straight toward us. We became frightened and as this object came closer, I turned my car around and headed back, north, down Brookside Drive. My son stated to me later that "if you threw a frisbee into the air at this thing, it would have hit it." At the point in which I was turning our car around in a driveway to get away from this thing, my son was able to see the object up close, from the passenger side. He states this object had one blue light on the one end, and rotating red and white lights all around at the bottom. He states it was circular and 'HUGE,' although could not explain to me how many feet in circumference it seemed to be. We decided to purchase soft drinks at the McDonald's off of Crow Canyon/San Ramon Valley Blvd. As we sat in the parking lot, we noted we could no longer see this object. As we headed back toward home, going east on Crow Canyon Road, my son stated he saw the same object, but this time it was pacing us at a much higher distance. Once we reached Dougherty Drive, we no longer saw the object. The timeframe for the above is approximately 15 to 20 minutes. At approximately 9:30 p.m. that night, I took my dogs for a walk down our street. I was walking toward the west down our street;! when I turned around, I saw a flashing red and white object hovering down the cul-de-sac, past our home. I became frightened and kept my eyes on the object as I was walking. It was moving in a zig-zag motion, very slowly and cautiously, toward me. I went inside the house and informed my husband and son what had happened. I don't think I've ever been so frightened in my life. We decided to take a drive, the three of us, to see if we could see this object further. This was at approximately 10:00 p.m. that night. We drove in the same pattern as I had taken previously, then headed back home. We didn't see anything during that time. As we were headed toward home, I took a street called Monarch Drive and decided to go up Monarch Drive, which is on a hill, overlooking the Valley. We were headed east. We got out of our car and saw three objects, each had flashing red and white lights. We were not able to see their shapes, but noted that they at times would just hover, and/or move very quickly, first right, then left. Eventually, we headed back off Monarch, onto Bollinger Canyon Road, going west. As we headed home, we noted that two of these objects were now pacing us, one in front of the other. All of a sudden, the object behind the other picked up speed and literally flew over the object in front of it, seemingly missing the object in front of it by inches. I've never seen anything like in my life.

at exactly 2:19am me and a lady friend of mine were observing what started out to be the alignment of the planets and moving stars in the same area through my Meade telescope, the odd thing was some of the stars seemed to go forward and backward as opposed to "not". She noticed a dark object moving slowly overhead and brought it to my attn. I couldn't actually see it until it stopped, powered itself up with pure brite light, and projected a straight beam of light in front of my house but up the street about 100 ft for about a second and a half until the beam.....now get this.....dessapated apart...like in particles. Silent, spherical and metallic in shape, about 1000 ft above us and hovering, it started to move again slowly and in the same direction before it paused the first time. You cannot tell me that was anything other than what I saw very clearly and unmistakeably. Also there does happen to be Larwence Livermore Lab and a nuclear testing facility nearby here and I believe one of them or both are connected.

I filmed starry white objects in sky that I believe to be circular UFO's.

3/14/04 UFO'S SITED 21:15PM I am from California, and I witnessed an extraordinary event tonight that I filmed on camera. I got a good fifteen minutes of what I saw in the sky. What I saw in the sky were objects spaced apart from each other that looked like stars. Some were up high in the sky and others were moving by the horizon. Of course, where I live I could not see the moon and that made it better. Now these UFO's, when looking into the camera at them had a circular look to them and one was white another was blue, and the others were pulsating different colors. The white one was just white and it would move to the left and then to the right when my back was turned. It was a very extreme movement in the sky. The blue one was pulsating and it moved very slowly and again only when my back was turned. Later on in the film I noticed some by the horizon and when I mean some I mean a few. At first I only saw two moving East, and these lights were very bright but faraway. When you look at them through the camera they were white like a ship or pulsating with multiple colors. I then saw one or two more by the horizon moving East. These were to my farther left but were moving East. They weren't moving fast, and the oddest thing about these UFO's is that they looked like very small planets but they also were white when zoomed in upon and looked like they had a black spot in the center of the UFO but to the far right of the center but not close enough to touch the end of the circular objects. I know it wasn't my camera because I saw this on all the bright UFO oblects that I saw. It almost seemed like an invasion! The reason why I say this is because this is the first time I have witnessed UFO's and I saw five to six of them in one night, and mind you these were perfect circles. These were awesome and I got fifteen minutes on tape. I hope I see more tomorrow night, and the funny thing was that after I saw these objects I still saw the first one when the others were gone and I filmed them all in order of how I saw them, and my Grandpa also! witnessed it but he believes it was satellites but these were bigger then satellites. My camera also stopped zooming in or out at times but I don't know if that had anything to do with the UFO's.

Object seen moving in a west-bound direction, stopped, faded in and out as shifting angles, vanished...

This was a clear-blue sky with only a few small clouds visible.

I was sitting in our home talking to my wife, looking outside when I saw a flat object moving in a west-bound direction, SW of our location. The object was a bright blue color and am not sure if the color was from the object or a rereflection off of the object. It remained at a steady speed and came to an abrupt stop positioned between two clouds (they seemed to be two only two in the sky, making it easy to reference where to tell my wife to look...) As it hovered, I told my wife to look, and we both sat and stared for a while. The object dipped both up and down. The color of the object then started to fade in and out, with the object still slightly visible as it shifted angles. This shifting activity went on for about 10 seconds and then it just vanished.

I was looking at the moon and a large star to the right of the moon. A star-like shape appeared between the moon and the star. It sat like a star for a few moments, then quickly darted back and forth, north and south, then suddenly darted off to the west so quickly I lost sight of it. There was no sound.

It looked like a shooting star except it was bigger but it did move like a shooting star.

The object I witnessed moved just like a shooting star except it was bigger and looked like a fire ball. The object was glowing white light for the few seconds I saw it. It flew above and in front of my car. The object sped Northwest. The other person that saw this object was my mother.

In 1985 I saw a silver saucer directly over my house in California.

In October of 1985 I lived in a ranch style house in San Ramon, California, and I was looking out my front window when I saw something appear over the lip of the roof above me. It was moving forward very slowly. I ran out onto the front lawn and there was a round saucer directly above my house, about 50 feet in the air. It was silver metallic and made no sound at all. I ran back into the house and got my son who was 8 at the time. We stood on the front lawn and watched in amazement as it silently passed over us and moved towards the strip mall across the street.

It was large, about the size of my house. Because of the strip mall and surrounding street lights we could see it very clearly. It had a dome on the top and from the side we were on we counted twelve square blue lights so I figured there must have been 24 around the entire dome. They would all go off and one by one come back on again. At first I thought the lights might have been windows because of their shape but I tried to see inside and couldn’t see anything and then they went off which is when I realized they were lights.

We stood there watching until it disappeared behind the strip mall which took about 5 minutes since it was only moving as fast as a person could walk. I wish I had the sense to grab my camera and take pictures but it never occurred to me to do that because I was really in shock at seeing a UFO at all, especially up close. The funny thing was we weren’t afraid of it, just in awe.

Immediately after seeing it I called my husband who was away on a business trip in San Diego and told him and I also told one friend but never reported it or told anyone else because I thought they would say I was crazy. My son is 33 now and we still talk about it. I tell everyone now and don’t care if they believe me.

I did read in the paper over the next few days that it was also seen later that night by one police officer on his beat, another police officer standing on his deck, and by a lady who was up feeding her newborn and saw it out her apartment window hovering over the bay. I have looked online for those articles but haven’t been able to find them.
