I was sitting at the pier on the beach having a bonfire. There was a group of 6 of us, the 2 of us that were sitting at the fire both saw the same thing at the same moment. The light of the fire drowned out any other stars and the clarity of the night sky. All of the sudden it looked like a shooting star but there was 4 perfectly aligned lights spaced all evenly, and they were bright, but perfect bright sphere lights unlike anything I have ever seen. These lights were significantly brighter than any star in the sky that night by a huge margin. The line of lights was above the horizon line of the Pacific Ocean and shot across a small portion of the sky and disappeared in mid air within a matter of a split second. We both looked at each other in disbelief of what we had just witnessed.

lights the size of stars in the sky, fluidly zigzagging across field of view.

Toward the NE, what looked like a falling star at first, instead of fizzling out, fluidly zig-zagged off into the distance. 3 more incidents in the same field of view followed within tbe next four minutes or so. Each incident persisted only seconds, but the last three didn't appear to fall first, just swooped in large arcing zigzag motions. Not dramatice, just looked like stars suddenly mobilized. Interestingly, there were two visible planes in the sky, whose seeming sluggishness amplified the speed of these objects.

I feel confident of what observed.

I saw a orangish, yellow white orb. It had 8 spikes like those of the points of a compass.

I was able to snap a photo, which I do have. I feel con tried to get a video of the event but, it vanished before my eyes.

Four Fireballs in Cayucos Sky

A friend and I were sitting on a rooftop balcony in Cayucos when we saw three glowing red/orange firebals forming a triangle, moving through the sky. They stopped after a few minutes, and hovered. One of the fireballs suddenly disappeared. I was taking photos and then took another photo when it disappeared.

My friend said, "quick, take another picture before the second one disappears." Immediately after I snapped the picture of the two remaining fireballs, another one disappeared, followed about a minute later by the third.

A fourth fireball appeared lower in the sky and moved toward us for about a minute, changing direction several times, moving back and forth laterally, before disappearing.

All four fireballs seemed to change from orange to red to white several times. Each blinked rapidly before disappearing.

Chinese Lantern Like UFO's spotted in Central California Beach Town

On June 9th at about 9:30 at night I was laying on my bed listening to the radio. I walked over to my door to close it as it was slightly open letting a draft into the house. But, when I got to the doorway I decided to step out onto my balcony real quick and when I looked over the town and toward the pier, I noticed about 3 to 5 glowing orange orbs floating in the sky. I immediately sensed something peculiar about the objects and quickly grabbed my cell phone to record the event for confirmation that I was actually seeing floating things in the sky.

The objects floated very slowly, two of them moved down toward the pier and downtown area and one slowly rose into the sky. They were small orange orbs, and moving very smooth and effortlessly. No Sound. As I watched the objects, I tried to talk about what was happening in the camera as the footage was very low light and actually quite terrible. However, it does show the glowing orange orbs flickering in and out.

As I watched the one floating higher into the sky, the two lower orbs seemed to just disappear. Then, moments later, the one in the upper sky disappeared just as it was about to float over my head at about 300 feet above me. I almost felt like it was looking at me or knew I was there somehow...like the feeling you get when someone is staring at you from behind and when you turn around, there is someone looking right at you. It had that same feeling of connection.

After the incident I saw two neighbors and showed them the cell phone footage I captured. They said it looked like Chinese lanterns that float with a flame and heat and are made of paper...which made sense as I'd seen these items before but didn't think about them at the time I recognized the objects...so I wrote off the whole experience.

A couple weeks later (today), I was listening to a rerun of last nights Coast to Coast am program and the publisher of this website (ufocenter.com) said people around the country were spotting Chinese Candle like UFOs!!! I re-examined my footage on my cell phone and it looks like what he was explaining!! So here I am, writing to you about a similar experience that happened in one of California's smallest beach towns, approx 2,000 people....

I still don't know what I was looking at but I have the little video on my cell phone if anyone would like to see it.

For several years off and on identifiable objects have appeared off the coast. I have been trying to get one on film for close to 13 yrs. On March 19th I was watching t.v. when a red light over the ocean caught my eye. I watched it out my window for around a minute before getting my video camera hoping to get a closer look and document the event. As I watched the object it got brighter and dimmer, giving off streaks of light in different colors. I climbed out my bathroom window onto the roof to get a unobstructed view of the object. The air was freezing and I didn't grab a jacket so it was hard to hold the camera still and I was standing on the pitch of the roof. I filmed the object for close to three minutes. The object seemed to be a orb of energy. The round light would get really small, then grow large. As the object got smaller the light got brighter, as it got bigger the object almost dissipated then would reform. This object has appeared over the ocea! n several times over the last month.

Years ago (around 1999) as many as 20 people were standing on the street all looking at an object that defied physics. We made reports to the local news and they ran the story saying it was a weather balloon. Anyone that saw that object knows it was not a weather balloon. Please tell me the best way to document these events as to leave no skeptics, I feel the central coast of California is a UFO hot spot and needs to be investigated by serious professionals.

I have 3 minutes of what I feel is very good UFO footage. I would love to have a professional in the field view my footage and give an explanation for what I have on film.

It was a large, round, glowing object, the flew silently, & then stopped, changed direction, to go into light speed in a second.

On Thursday, December 30th.(7:29pm Pacific) I got out of my car & looked up toward the Southern sky. It was the clearest night I've seen in some time. This large, round, glowing light much larger than the space station or satelites I've see. It moved faster across the sky than airforce jet I've seen. It would had flown close to Vandenburg airforce Base, Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant, & then over Fort Hunter Ligget. The large,SILENT, glowing orb stopped, swerved back & forth, the shot from its Northern direction, to a 90 degree change to go Northeast @ light speed. I mean, so fast it just blipped out in a second. So, To recap. It came from the South moving fast to the North, then stopped, made a pengelemn back & forth action, then went into light, warp-speed to the Northeast. The light seemed like it had a hugh or haze around it. Plasma, maybe because of the speed. I know of one other person, a woman bartender, who saw it from Cambria, 15 miles North of wh! ere I saw it.
